off from TV to spend time aside with God. 00:02:27.180 --> 00:02:30.660 There are people who are changing the way they use time 00:02:30.660 --> 00:02:34.180 with one intent, that, oh God, if you are led Jesus into the wilderness 00:04:21.160 --> 00:04:25.560 and the intent of leading him into the wilderness 00:04:25.560 --> 00:04:28.360 was so that he would find or locate 00:04:28.360 --> 00:04:29.560 the abundance of the spirit. 00:04:29.560 --> 00:04:31.160 Yes, it says being tempted by the devil, 00:04:31.160 --> 00:04:33.560 but in our case, we are being led into the wilderness 00:04:33.560 --> 00:04:34.960 not to be tempted by the devil, 00:04:34.960 --> 00:04:36.760 but we are being led into the wilderness 00:04:37.760 --> 00:04:38.960 to locate... 00:04:42.160 --> we are being led into the wilderness 00:05:45.960 --> 00:05:48.360 to locate the abundance of the spirit 00:05:48.360 --> 00:05:52.960 and to return clothed in power as it says in Luke 4, 14. always measured in terms of the time I spend. 00:08:05.560 --> 00:08:10.160 So to say that I'm affectionate towards my spouse has to be measured 00:08:10.160 --> 00:08:12.160 in the time that I spend 00:09:20.360 It applies to most other things too. 00:09:21.360 --> 00:09:22.360 Good and bad. 00:09:23.560 --> 00:09:29.360 So what Jesus is inviting us as a people or a church to do is to can say they are desperate. 00:09:50.760 --> 00:09:52.560 You know, I'm really desperate for this. 00:09:52.560 --> 00:09:54.360 Show it to me in your discipline. 00:09:56.160 --> 00:09:59.760 Desperation is always shown in the discipline of life. 00:10:01.360 --> 00:10:03.560 Are you desperate to get an Olympic medal? 00:10:03.560 --> 00:10:06.560 Well, you'll see the discipline of sport. 00:10:06.560 --> 00:10:09.160 Are you desperate to learn more about God? 00:10:09.160 --> 00:10:11.360 You will see it in the discipline of reading. 00:10:11.360 --> 00:10:13.160 Are you desperate to lose weight? 00:10:13.160 --> 00:10:15.760 You will see it in the discipline of exercise. 00:10:17.360 --> 00:10:19.760 Are you desperate to keep a clean home? 00:10:19.760 --> 00:10:22.960 You will see it in the discipline of cleaning up every day. 00:10:25.160 --> 00:10:31.960 So God is calling us to a reset where you get desperate enough to discipline your life in the Father's love. my Father's love by keeping his commands and I'm asking you to do the same. 00:11:05.360 --> 00:11:09.760 So it's a reset where you get desperate enough to discipline your life in the Father's love. 00:11:54.960 --> 00:12:06.760 We'll just talk about two or three simple habits we can cultivate over the next 40 days and it will revolutionize not the church but the earth because of the church being do which is why it is required of me that I protect the treasure that is in me. 00:19:35.760 --> 00:19:39.160 And he gives me the ability to protect the treasure that is in me. 00:19:39.160 --> 00:20:05.160 --> 00:20:10.160 There's nothing like knowing the pleasure of someone you love. 00:20:19.160 --> 00:20:25.160 Parents love the pleasure of a child who has that gurgly chuckly kind of
