We've reached that point now. It's not going to be possible to extinguish 00:00:32.760 --> 00:00:38.680 this church. This church has reached a place where the gates of hell cannot prevail anymore. 00:00:40.280 --> 00:00:47.320 This church will not die. You can try and kill it, it won't die. You can have all the leaders 00:00:47.320 --> 00:00:57.160 leave tomorrow, it won't die. This teaching is about what God is saying about this church 00:00:57.720 --> 00:01:04.840 and he wants us to know it. It's very odd to say this about a church. Usually people don't say 00:01:04.840 --> 00:01:08.440 things like this about the church, but if God wants to say it, who are we to stop him from saying it? 00:01:09.080 --> 00:01:17.000 So we've reached a point at Acts 29 where this church has become a prevailing church 00:01:17.000 --> 00:01:21.720 and it will last years and years and years and it's unstoppable. 00:01:23.320 --> 00:01:29.960 It's one of those numbers 23 moments, so if you turn to numbers 23, verse 9 and 10. 00:01:31.160 --> 00:01:36.200 I need more volume because of the mask, man. So it would never lessen in its fermentation, it would keep increasing. 00:04:34.440 --> 00:04:40.680 This is one of those Matthew 16 verse 21 moments where Jesus suddenly realizes that Peter knows 00:04:40.680 --> 00:04:47.080 that he is Christ, the son of the living God. And chapter 16 verse 21 says, then Jesus set his face 00:04:47.080 --> 00:04:50.680 like flint towards the cross and he began to tell them, I need to go and die. 00:04:52.360 --> 00:04:59.080 The point is we've reached that moment at threshold where now even if all the leaders of all the house 00:04:59.080 --> 00:05:06.200 churches disappeared tomorrow, this church would not have a problem going forward in great strength 00:05:06.200 --> 00:05:15.560 because a new wave would come up. So this is an Isaiah 51, 1 to 5 moment where you're supposed to 00:05:15.560 --> 00:05:20.120 look back at the quarry that you were cut out from. You're supposed to look back at Abraham your 00:05:20.120 --> 00:05:26.680 father and Sarah your mother. And God goes on to say in Isaiah 51 verse 2, out of one solitary man, 00:05:27.400 --> 00:05:32.920 out of one solitary man I have created a nation. And we're not talking about me, we're talking about 00:05:32.920 --> 00:05:38.840 how God took nothing and made something out of this. I'll show you some pictures. I'll show you 00:05:38.840 --> 00:05:43.240 some pictures that will encourage us, I think, because it's encouraged me. Do you know what a privilege 00:07:47.320 --> 00:07:50.360 that is? Do you know that even churches in the book of Revelation couldn't say that because they 00:07:50.360 --> 00:07:55.080 dried up? And don't for a moment think this was done by me. It's not possible. It is the work of 00:07:55.080 --> 00:08:01.400 the spirit amongst the people. A pastor does not make a church. He can lay good foundations 00:08:02.760 --> 00:08:08.600 but he can't make a church. He can't make a church. He can't make a church. I think part of the responsibility is upon the 00:10:29.960 --> 00:10:35.400 rest of the family to engage those that are on the outskirts. So it is my job to go and say to Sam, 00:10:35.400 --> 00:10:42.760 hey Sam, why are you disengaged? And pull him in. Sometimes pull him in struggling, sometimes pull 00:10:42.760 --> 00:10:50.760 him in willingly, sometimes bribe him with a burger but get him engaged. One, as a group of people trying to draw them in. Two, making them jealous. 00:11:20.440 --> 00:11:25.720 Paul talked about it. He says one of the ways to engage people is to make them jealous. He said, 00:11:25.720 --> 00:11:30.280 when my Jewish brothers see what is happening amongst us, it will make them jealous. 00:11:35.720 --> 00:11:39.400 And three, by always trying to give people a taste of what is happening. 00:11:40.760 --> 00:11:46.520 A taste of what is happening. People won't eat something till you tell them it tastes good 00:11:49.080 --> 00:11:55.160 and then they have to taste it. So those are three ways to engage people but it won't be taken away 00:11:55.160 --> 00:12:01.000 from them. The opportunity will always be there. I can't find a word in this thing which condemns, 00:12:01.000 --> 00:12:06.440 which says, ah, you won't qualify. Everybody qualifies but the degree to which you engage 00:12:07.640 --> 00:12:12.200 and it's my responsibility to call you out when you don't engage so that you don't think you're 00:12:12.200 --> 00:12:25.320 engaged when you're not. But it still won't rob you. So why does God think we are unstoppable? 00:12:26.280 --> 00:12:29.800 Here are some of the reasons he gave. One, he said you are a good seed 00:12:31.320 --> 00:12:38.200 and you are beginning to willingly die to things so that my life can resurrect what is required. 00:12:38.200 --> 00:12:44.280 You are a good seed. You are a good seed and you're willingly dying to things so that 00:12:44.840 --> 00:12:49.880 my resurrection life takes over. You're willingly dying to things. You're willingly dying to your 00:12:49.880 --> 00:12:54.360 jobs. You're willingly dying to your security. You're willingly dying to putting your family, 00:12:54.360 --> 00:13:00.520 your work, your possessions, your money first. You're willingly dying to self. You're willingly 00:13:00.520 --> 00:13:05.720 dying to being the authority in your life. You're willingly dying to controlling your time. You're 00:13:05.720 --> 00:13:11.160 willingly dying to keeping your homes as if they were your castles. You're willingly dying 00:13:11.160 --> 00:13:17.080 and because you're willingly dying, it makes my resurrection power unstoppable. This church is 00:13:17.080 --> 00:13:24.040 willingly dying. It's reached a mass where if there are 50 people in this church, it's almost 00:13:24.040 --> 00:13:29.800 like 40 are doing it. The 10 that don't will still get the same benefits. I see how selfless you are. I see how you're not greedy. I see how 00:14:21.640 --> 00:14:29.480 you're not afraid. I see a lack of fear and I see great belief and very little unbelief.
