00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:08.000
Music

00:00:08.000 --> 00:00:10.000
Now that means starting.

00:00:10.000 --> 00:00:12.000
All righty?

00:00:14.000 --> 00:00:16.000
Just read it slowly.

00:00:16.000 --> 00:00:18.000
Bring your…

00:00:18.000 --> 00:00:20.000
Hello?

00:00:20.000 --> 00:00:22.000
Hello?

00:00:22.000 --> 00:00:26.000
Bring your tools and let me shape them into weapons.

00:00:26.000 --> 00:00:28.000
Draw near, draw near.

00:00:28.000 --> 00:00:30.000
The veil is torn.

00:00:30.000 --> 00:00:32.000
Rise up.

00:00:32.000 --> 00:00:34.000
The time for awakening is now.

00:00:34.000 --> 00:00:36.000
Prepare a holy war.

00:00:36.000 --> 00:00:38.000
Wake up the warriors.

00:00:38.000 --> 00:00:40.000
Let all the soldiers draw near.

00:00:40.000 --> 00:00:42.000
Let them come up.

00:00:42.000 --> 00:00:50.000
Beat the iron tips of your plows into swords and your pruning tools into spears.

00:00:50.000 --> 00:00:52.000
Let the weakly say, I am mighty.

00:00:52.000 --> 00:00:56.000
Cut with the sickle, for the harvest is ripe.

00:00:56.000 --> 00:01:00.000
Go and crush grapes, for the winepress is full.

00:01:00.000 --> 00:01:06.000
The jars overflow with wine, for their wickedness is great.

00:01:06.000 --> 00:01:14.000
Crowd after crowd fill the valley of judgment, for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of judgment.

00:01:14.000 --> 00:01:16.000
Cool. Thank you. I'll just read it one more time.

00:01:16.000 --> 00:01:20.000
As you worship, as you bow, I call.

00:01:20.000 --> 00:01:24.000
I announce among the nations, bring your tools and let me shape them into weapons.

00:01:24.000 --> 00:01:26.000
Draw near, draw near.

00:01:26.000 --> 00:01:28.000
The veil is torn.

00:01:28.000 --> 00:01:30.000
Rise up.

00:01:30.000 --> 00:01:32.000
The time for awakening is now.

00:01:32.000 --> 00:01:34.000
Prepare a holy war.

00:01:34.000 --> 00:01:36.000
Wake up the warriors.

00:01:36.000 --> 00:01:38.000
Let all the soldiers draw near.

00:01:38.000 --> 00:01:40.000
Let them come up.

00:01:40.000 --> 00:01:42.000
Beat the iron tips of your plows into swords and your pruning tools into spears.

00:01:42.000 --> 00:01:44.000
Let the weak say, I am mighty.

00:01:44.000 --> 00:01:46.000
Cut with the sickle, for the harvest is ripe.

00:01:46.000 --> 00:01:48.000
Go crush grapes, for the winepress is full.

00:01:48.000 --> 00:01:52.000
The jars overflow with wine, for their wickedness is great.

00:01:52.000 --> 00:01:56.000
Crowd after crowd fill the valley of judgment, for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of judgment.

00:01:56.000 --> 00:01:58.000
Just keep that in mind, eh?

00:01:58.000 --> 00:02:02.000
It goes with some of the things we've been teaching and talking about.

00:02:02.000 --> 00:02:08.000
That was something that the Lord pointed out to her while we were worshipping.

00:02:08.000 --> 00:02:12.000
So we go on with the same series that we started.

00:02:12.000 --> 00:02:14.000
Train my hands for war.

00:02:14.000 --> 00:02:16.000
Train my hands for war.

00:02:16.000 --> 00:02:18.000
This is the fifth in the series.

00:02:18.000 --> 00:02:26.000
And today we talk about an enemy that if we don't learn how to handle, usually destroys us before we start.

00:02:26.000 --> 00:02:32.000
And the weapon that we use against this enemy is giving.

00:02:32.000 --> 00:02:38.000
So if you want a title, it is Train My Hands for War-Giving.

00:02:38.000 --> 00:02:40.000
Giving.

00:02:40.000 --> 00:02:42.000
Giving becomes a weapon.

00:02:42.000 --> 00:02:48.000
And if giving is a weapon, then mammon is the enemy.

00:02:48.000 --> 00:02:56.000
And I want to talk about that and conclude with some other things that will set us up for the year ahead.

00:02:56.000 --> 00:02:58.000
So here goes.

00:02:58.000 --> 00:03:04.000
Guys, God created everything to give of itself, eh?

00:03:04.000 --> 00:03:08.000
Everything, when he made everything, he made it in such a way that it would give of itself.

00:03:08.000 --> 00:03:20.000
So if you look at Genesis 1, 11, it says each tree or each animal had the ability, had the seed within to be able to produce more.

00:03:20.000 --> 00:03:24.000
Had the seed within to be able to produce more.

00:03:24.000 --> 00:03:32.000
And so in creation, God had already decided that, hey, this isn't working, Brandon.

00:03:32.000 --> 00:03:36.000
God had created everything to give of itself.

00:03:36.000 --> 00:03:40.000
God had created everything to give of itself.

00:03:40.000 --> 00:03:44.000
And so giving is written into his covenant.

00:03:44.000 --> 00:03:46.000
Giving is written into his covenant.

00:03:46.000 --> 00:03:48.000
Is this working?

00:03:48.000 --> 00:03:50.000
No.

00:03:50.000 --> 00:03:56.000
Giving is written into his covenant.

00:03:56.000 --> 00:03:58.000
Let me go over that again.

00:03:58.000 --> 00:04:12.000
Everything God created was meant to give itself, including me, including Derek, including Brandon.

00:04:12.000 --> 00:04:18.000
Everything God created was meant to give itself.

00:04:18.000 --> 00:04:20.000
It's part of the covenant.

00:04:20.000 --> 00:04:24.000
It doesn't matter whether it's the Adamic covenant or whether the New Covenant in Christ.

00:04:24.000 --> 00:04:30.000
Everything God created was supposed to give itself.

00:04:30.000 --> 00:04:36.000
And then when you go to Luke 16, verse 13, you find that mammon is very different.

00:04:36.000 --> 00:04:38.000
Mammon is very different.

00:04:38.000 --> 00:04:42.000
Everything about mammon is self-serving.

00:04:42.000 --> 00:04:44.000
Self-serving.

00:04:44.000 --> 00:04:50.000
In Luke 16, 13, it says you cannot serve God and mammon.

00:04:50.000 --> 00:04:53.000
Everything about mammon is self-serving.

00:04:53.000 --> 00:05:03.000
Another way to phrase mammon, which comes from Aramaic, is that which you trust in.

00:05:03.000 --> 00:05:05.000
That which you trust yourself to.

00:05:05.000 --> 00:05:07.000
Or that which you trust in.

00:05:07.000 --> 00:05:10.000
That's what the word mammon means at its very basis.

00:05:10.000 --> 00:05:13.000
That which you trust yourself to.

00:05:13.000 --> 00:05:16.000
Or that which you trust in.

00:05:16.000 --> 00:05:24.000
And so everything that mammon is, is opposed to both the Adamic covenant and the New Testament covenant in Christ.

00:05:24.000 --> 00:05:26.000
It's opposed to it.

00:05:26.000 --> 00:05:30.000
Mammon, it says, is deceitful.

00:05:30.000 --> 00:05:33.000
Mammon, it says, is greedy.

00:05:33.000 --> 00:05:37.000
Mammon, it says, hinders discipleship.

00:05:37.000 --> 00:05:40.000
So let's throw the word mammon away and put money in.

00:05:40.000 --> 00:05:43.000
Money is deceitful.

00:05:43.000 --> 00:05:48.000
Money hinders discipleship.

00:05:48.000 --> 00:05:52.000
Money is greedy.

00:05:52.000 --> 00:05:58.000
Money, mammon is a spirit.

00:05:58.000 --> 00:06:02.000
It devours.

00:06:02.000 --> 00:06:04.000
It devours.

00:06:04.000 --> 00:06:12.000
The rich man walked away from Jesus discipling him because it was impossible for him to give up this one thing that had to happen.

00:06:12.000 --> 00:06:14.000
This one thing that had such a hold on him.

00:06:14.000 --> 00:06:16.000
And the rich man is no exception.

00:06:16.000 --> 00:06:18.000
Everybody sitting here.

00:06:18.000 --> 00:06:22.000
We belong to a category in the world called the 1% that are the richest.

00:06:22.000 --> 00:06:28.000
Anybody that earns over 24,000 pounds makes up that 1%.

00:06:28.000 --> 00:06:40.000
Anybody that makes more than 24,000 pounds or say 40,000 dollars a year is actually in the top 1% in terms of riches a year.

00:06:40.000 --> 00:06:51.000
And so one of the things we have to realize is that there is no winning this battle unless I have a different approach to money and I have a different attitude to giving.

00:06:51.000 --> 00:06:54.000
Any questions before we go on?

00:06:54.000 --> 00:07:03.000
Any questions before we go on?

00:07:03.000 --> 00:07:06.000
So there are literally two systems in the world, guys.

00:07:06.000 --> 00:07:15.000
And you'll see this particularly played out in the book of Revelation where there is a system of the beast of Babylon and there is a system of the kingdom.

00:07:15.000 --> 00:07:22.000
Both are diametrically opposed in approach, in nature and in the way they function.

00:07:22.000 --> 00:07:26.000
One is the system of the beast and Babylon.

00:07:26.000 --> 00:07:34.000
And the other one is the system of the kingdom and how it uses resources and wealth.

00:07:34.000 --> 00:07:40.000
Two completely different systems.

00:07:40.000 --> 00:07:51.000
The problem is in the church there's been a hybridization so that we behave like people of the kingdom but think like people of the world.

00:07:51.000 --> 00:07:57.000
We behave like people of the kingdom so external behavior seems to match how people should behave.

00:07:57.000 --> 00:08:06.000
But internally we are thinking like the world when it comes to these two systems.

00:08:06.000 --> 00:08:21.000
And if it doesn't change then we really do not win battles.

00:08:21.000 --> 00:08:28.000
I must begin to look at money as a devouring spirit.

00:08:28.000 --> 00:08:31.000
I must begin to look at money as a devouring spirit.

00:08:31.000 --> 00:08:34.000
I must use it but I must hate it.

00:08:34.000 --> 00:08:42.000
I must use it but I must hate it.

00:08:42.000 --> 00:08:44.000
Use it.

00:08:44.000 --> 00:08:46.000
But have a dislike for it. Hate it.

00:08:46.000 --> 00:08:53.000
Dethrone it. You cannot dethrone anything that you don't hate.

00:08:53.000 --> 00:08:58.000
I've said this before, whatever you don't hate you will tolerate.

00:08:58.000 --> 00:09:01.000
Dethrone it.

00:09:01.000 --> 00:09:06.000
People have a tendency to say that money is amoral, meaning you can't call it good or evil.

00:09:06.000 --> 00:09:16.000
I'm saying it has the power to devour.

00:09:16.000 --> 00:09:22.000
It has the power to worry you.

00:09:22.000 --> 00:09:29.000
It has the power to give you sleepless nights.

00:09:29.000 --> 00:09:34.000
It has the power to influence your decisions.

00:09:34.000 --> 00:09:38.000
It has the power to control.

00:09:38.000 --> 00:09:42.000
It has the power to have you begin to plot.

00:09:42.000 --> 00:09:45.000
It has the power to give you anxiety.

00:09:45.000 --> 00:09:53.000
But the worst thing that money does is it turns you into an orphan and alienates you from your father.

00:09:53.000 --> 00:09:59.000
That is the ultimate degradation that happens to humans.

00:09:59.000 --> 00:10:04.000
That is the ultimate degradation that happens to humans.

00:10:04.000 --> 00:10:08.000
Which is why Jesus very plainly stated, you cannot, Jacob, serve God and serve money.

00:10:08.000 --> 00:10:12.000
You cannot.

00:10:12.000 --> 00:10:17.000
I hate the fact that it has the power to turn us into orphans.

00:10:17.000 --> 00:10:24.000
We who claim to be sons of the father are the ones that money can turn into orphans

00:10:24.000 --> 00:10:27.000
and it turns us into orphans and it turns us into orphans every so often.

00:10:27.000 --> 00:10:33.000
And it alienates a man from his father.

00:10:33.000 --> 00:10:36.000
That shouldn't happen.

00:10:36.000 --> 00:10:39.000
Jonathan, I need a little more volume.

00:10:39.000 --> 00:10:43.000
That shouldn't happen.

00:10:43.000 --> 00:10:48.000
So look at it as a devouring spirit.

00:10:48.000 --> 00:10:51.000
Look at it as something that needs to be dethroned.

00:10:51.000 --> 00:10:57.000
It's a thing that you will use but you will begin to hate for any control it exerts over you.

00:10:57.000 --> 00:11:00.000
And it's a lifelong process.

00:11:00.000 --> 00:11:02.000
It's week after week, month after month.

00:11:02.000 --> 00:11:06.000
It does not stop.

00:11:06.000 --> 00:11:15.000
There is a scene in Revelation 17 where there is a woman seated on a beast, the harlot Babylon,

00:11:15.000 --> 00:11:19.000
who traded with the nations of the world and is brought down.

00:11:19.000 --> 00:11:25.000
I'm not going to talk about that image today but know that it stays till the end and it has the power to ruin.

00:11:25.000 --> 00:11:31.000
And if this church wants to train its hands to war, if this church is to do anything,

00:11:31.000 --> 00:11:38.000
it must be completely free, starting with me, from the fear and the love for money.

00:11:38.000 --> 00:11:40.000
Completely free.

00:11:40.000 --> 00:11:47.000
Anyone who is completely free from the fear of money and a desire for money

00:11:47.000 --> 00:11:53.000
is a man who can now serve the king without problems.

00:11:53.000 --> 00:11:59.000
Money is the greatest hindrance to discipleship, to real discipleship, to practical discipleship.

00:11:59.000 --> 00:12:02.000
I'm not talking about attending a discipleship class.

00:12:02.000 --> 00:12:04.000
That's easy.

00:12:04.000 --> 00:12:10.000
I'm talking about practical discipleship, where you now become someone who follows Christ where he goes.

00:12:10.000 --> 00:12:16.000
The greatest hindrance is money.

00:12:16.000 --> 00:12:25.000
And if you think you don't have a problem with it, that's another lie.

00:12:25.000 --> 00:12:35.000
When he said you cannot be slave to God and mammon, what he was saying was you can only choose one master.

00:12:35.000 --> 00:12:37.000
You cannot have two masters.

00:12:37.000 --> 00:12:41.000
And the moment anybody says that, good Christians like you and I stand up and say,

00:12:41.000 --> 00:12:44.000
but who said money was my master?

00:12:44.000 --> 00:12:47.000
Here's a question you need to ask, some simple questions.

00:12:47.000 --> 00:12:56.000
What is the greatest factor in your decision-making in terms of what you do, where you go, when you go?

00:12:56.000 --> 00:12:58.000
What is the greatest factor?

00:12:58.000 --> 00:13:05.000
Here's another question that kind of embarrassed me because I never thought along those lines.

00:13:05.000 --> 00:13:07.000
Why do you go to work?

00:13:07.000 --> 00:13:17.000
Do you go to work to earn wages or do you go to work to represent Christ?

00:13:17.000 --> 00:13:32.000
The resounding answer all across this room, evident in your silence, is most of us go to work because we need to earn wages.

00:13:32.000 --> 00:13:39.000
And for the only reason, one was supposed to go to work because God is provider and our livelihood does not come from our work,

00:13:39.000 --> 00:13:53.000
but from Jaira, was to be continuously representative of him wherever he puts us.

00:13:53.000 --> 00:13:57.000
So is there a struggle between God and mammon in this church?

00:13:57.000 --> 00:14:01.000
Absolutely yes.

00:14:01.000 --> 00:14:08.000
Starting where? Starting here?

00:14:08.000 --> 00:14:22.000
Any questions?

00:14:22.000 --> 00:14:27.000
Why are my decisions determined by money which tells me what I can do and when and where I can go?

00:14:27.000 --> 00:14:31.000
Why am I life-consumed and full of careful worry?

00:14:31.000 --> 00:14:39.000
Why am I consumed with careful worry?

00:14:39.000 --> 00:14:42.000
That's an Oswald Chamber statement.

00:14:42.000 --> 00:14:48.000
Careful unbelief. Careful unbelief. Careful unbelief.

00:14:48.000 --> 00:14:55.000
Where we switch from Jesus' statement about, but your father knows you need, to the statement about,

00:14:55.000 --> 00:15:05.000
but I have to take care of things. I have to use my mind and be reasonable.

00:15:05.000 --> 00:15:07.000
Okay.

00:15:07.000 --> 00:15:14.000
You know, someone gave me a shirt. It's a little too tight otherwise I'd have worn and then done my incredible hulk thing,

00:15:14.000 --> 00:15:16.000
but then I didn't want to frighten you with my muscles.

00:15:16.000 --> 00:15:19.000
But on the shirt it says, can I hear an amen?

00:15:19.000 --> 00:15:25.000
And occasionally I wouldn't mind. Yeah?

00:15:25.000 --> 00:15:30.000
Thank you.

00:15:30.000 --> 00:15:33.000
Does this mean anything Brandon?

00:15:33.000 --> 00:15:41.000
Oh it's there. Okay.

00:15:41.000 --> 00:15:46.000
Our life and decisions are determined by money. Do you go to work to earn money or to represent Christ?

00:15:46.000 --> 00:15:51.000
What I hate about money, and I've seen this in my own life and I've seen it in your life,

00:15:51.000 --> 00:15:56.000
mammon attacks the father-son. By the way, this is my writing.

00:15:56.000 --> 00:16:01.000
This is how I write when I'm not in a hurry. Yeah?

00:16:01.000 --> 00:16:05.000
And this is how I...

00:16:05.000 --> 00:16:14.000
And this is what it looks like when I'm with you.

00:16:14.000 --> 00:16:19.000
Mammon attacks the father-son relationship while children...

00:16:19.000 --> 00:16:22.000
Where's that going?

00:16:22.000 --> 00:16:30.000
While children abide in peace and trust, not abandonment.

00:16:30.000 --> 00:16:32.000
So some of the ways we can break out of it...

00:16:32.000 --> 00:16:36.000
Guys, faith can always break you out of the snare of mammon.

00:16:36.000 --> 00:16:40.000
Faith can break you out of the snare of mammon, and we'll talk about that.

00:16:40.000 --> 00:16:43.000
Faith can break you out of the snare of mammon.

00:16:43.000 --> 00:16:47.000
Obedience can make mammon your servant.

00:16:47.000 --> 00:16:49.000
Faith can break you out of the snare of mammon.

00:16:49.000 --> 00:16:55.000
As in, money can capture you and say, you can't do this, you can't do this, you don't have the ability.

00:16:55.000 --> 00:16:57.000
You step out and take a risk and you're going to lose everything.

00:16:57.000 --> 00:17:02.000
So what if God said it? Your leather Bible does not matter, your leather wallet matters.

00:17:02.000 --> 00:17:07.000
And it begins to scream at you, and at some point you can break out of that snare with faith.

00:17:07.000 --> 00:17:09.000
And that's great, you break out of it.

00:17:09.000 --> 00:17:14.000
But one of the ways you make money your servant is through obedience.

00:17:14.000 --> 00:17:21.000
You break out of the snare of money with faith, but you make money your servant through obedience.

00:17:21.000 --> 00:17:22.000
That's what obedience means.

00:17:22.000 --> 00:17:29.000
When God says something and you decide that I am going to obey.

00:17:29.000 --> 00:17:32.000
Period. I'm going to obey.

00:17:32.000 --> 00:17:40.000
That's how you make it your servant.

00:17:40.000 --> 00:17:47.000
Let me say a word to husbands or wives who don't deal with money because their other spouse deals with money.

00:17:47.000 --> 00:17:49.000
That doesn't mean you don't have a problem with money.

00:17:49.000 --> 00:17:53.000
That just means you're not tested yet.

00:17:53.000 --> 00:17:59.000
Because often I meet spouses, sometimes the wife handles all the money and the husband is like a free bird.

00:17:59.000 --> 00:18:01.000
He has no problems with money.

00:18:01.000 --> 00:18:04.000
You know why? Because his wife takes really good care of the finances.

00:18:04.000 --> 00:18:08.000
Occasionally throw it back at him.

00:18:08.000 --> 00:18:20.000
How it goes.

00:18:20.000 --> 00:18:26.000
Acts 20 verse 35 says it's more blessed to give than to receive.

00:18:26.000 --> 00:18:29.000
It's more blessed to give than to receive.

00:18:29.000 --> 00:18:32.000
Hey, hear this.

00:18:32.000 --> 00:18:36.000
These are things that Jesus said that we are glad he said it but really doesn't apply to us.

00:18:36.000 --> 00:18:41.000
It is more blessed Jacob for you to give than to receive.

00:18:41.000 --> 00:18:48.000
Meaning you will be more blessed when you give than when you receive.

00:18:48.000 --> 00:18:55.000
You, now I'm pointing to you, you will be more blessed when you give than when you receive.

00:18:55.000 --> 00:18:57.000
Let it sink in.

00:18:57.000 --> 00:19:02.000
We have a covenant-keeping God who has a certain nature.

00:19:02.000 --> 00:19:04.000
This is his nature.

00:19:04.000 --> 00:19:07.000
This is why giving is a weapon.

00:19:07.000 --> 00:19:10.000
It's more blessed to give.

00:19:10.000 --> 00:19:13.000
Don't worry, it's going to get worse before it gets better.

00:19:13.000 --> 00:19:16.000
Acts 20 verse 35 says that.

00:19:16.000 --> 00:19:23.000
One of the ways we can really, on one hand it's more blessed to give than to receive.

00:19:23.000 --> 00:19:30.000
On the other hand, don't kill receiving by eating up everything that you receive.

00:19:30.000 --> 00:19:35.000
Every time you receive, set something aside to sow.

00:19:35.000 --> 00:19:39.000
No farmer eats up all his grain.

00:19:39.000 --> 00:19:46.000
Every farmer separates his grain into bread that he will eat and into seed that he will sow.

00:19:46.000 --> 00:19:51.000
Otherwise he'll die before the next season arrives.

00:19:51.000 --> 00:19:58.000
Anything you receive, anything you receive, even if it's $5 from your child,

00:19:58.000 --> 00:20:07.000
practice taking 50 cents out and saying, this is bread, this I will consume, this is seed, this I will sow.

00:20:07.000 --> 00:20:17.000
It's just the way, you know, most things with regard to giving and money happen through obedience and repeated habit-making practice.

00:20:17.000 --> 00:20:19.000
Otherwise it doesn't happen.

00:20:19.000 --> 00:20:21.000
Otherwise you have to use faith.

00:20:21.000 --> 00:20:24.000
And here's the news about faith and money.

00:20:24.000 --> 00:20:29.000
Nowhere in the Bible is faith used for money.

00:20:29.000 --> 00:20:33.000
Nowhere in the Bible do you hear a prayer where they stood in faith for money.

00:20:33.000 --> 00:20:39.000
Nowhere.

00:20:39.000 --> 00:20:45.000
Why? Because it's the least of things.

00:20:45.000 --> 00:21:00.000
2 Corinthians 16 talks about it.

00:21:00.000 --> 00:21:07.000
2 Corinthians 8.5 would be a great way to function.

00:21:07.000 --> 00:21:16.000
2 Corinthians 8.5, if you turn to it, you'll see how crazy the Macedonians were.

00:21:16.000 --> 00:21:19.000
2 Corinthians 8.5.

00:21:19.000 --> 00:21:25.000
Hey, these are things I want to become and these are things that you must become if we are to fulfill the mandate,

00:21:25.000 --> 00:21:33.000
the global mandate that has been appointed to us.

00:21:33.000 --> 00:21:38.000
2 Corinthians 8.5, here's what it says.

00:21:38.000 --> 00:21:41.000
Macedonia, by the way, was a really poor country.

00:21:41.000 --> 00:21:44.000
It still is a really poor country.

00:21:44.000 --> 00:21:46.000
It was then and it is so now.

00:21:46.000 --> 00:21:50.000
And now listen to how they went about doing things.

00:21:50.000 --> 00:21:56.000
And they did not do, Paul is writing to the Corinthians who were pretty messed up when it came to giving.

00:21:56.000 --> 00:22:00.000
And he's saying to them, and they did not do as we expected,

00:22:00.000 --> 00:22:06.000
but they gave themselves first to the Lord and then to us in keeping with God's will.

00:22:06.000 --> 00:22:08.000
What a statement, eh?

00:22:08.000 --> 00:22:11.000
That where does giving begin?

00:22:11.000 --> 00:22:18.000
Giving begins by first me coming and saying, oh God, I give myself to you this morning or I give myself to you this week.

00:22:18.000 --> 00:22:26.000
And the moment Aaron and Reni say that, the moment they say, oh God, we give ourselves to you this morning or this week.

00:22:26.000 --> 00:22:28.000
You know what they're saying?

00:22:28.000 --> 00:22:37.000
That you are our owner so everything in our possession is now yours.

00:22:37.000 --> 00:22:40.000
Do we have the ability to step into that space, man?

00:22:40.000 --> 00:22:46.000
That's the question.

00:22:46.000 --> 00:22:48.000
What happened, Bria?

00:22:48.000 --> 00:22:51.000
Oi, oi, she's fine.

00:22:51.000 --> 00:22:56.000
You can come back now.

00:22:56.000 --> 00:23:06.000
Bye.

00:23:06.000 --> 00:23:10.000
Where was I before, Bria?

00:23:10.000 --> 00:23:11.000
Yeah, everything you...

00:23:11.000 --> 00:23:13.000
So the Macedonians used to do it this way.

00:23:13.000 --> 00:23:15.000
They would come and they would...

00:23:15.000 --> 00:23:20.000
Thank you for the translation in Farsi, too.

00:23:20.000 --> 00:23:25.000
So one of the things that would happen is they would come and they would say to God, oh God, we are yours first.

00:23:25.000 --> 00:23:30.000
Now that we are yours, they would give themselves to God first, which means everything they own now belong to God.

00:23:30.000 --> 00:23:34.000
And then they would give themselves to the leaders.

00:23:34.000 --> 00:23:41.000
Now, if I even said that, you would say that that's too controlling, that's too demanding.

00:23:41.000 --> 00:23:51.000
I hate to break it to you, but it's biblical.

00:23:51.000 --> 00:23:53.000
Yes, can you be exploited? Yes.

00:23:53.000 --> 00:23:55.000
Can you be abused if you do that? Yes.

00:23:55.000 --> 00:23:58.000
What should you do if you're exploited and abused?

00:23:58.000 --> 00:24:01.000
Expose it and run.

00:24:01.000 --> 00:24:09.000
But I'm not going to shy away from it just because you think that I am controlling or the church is controlling

00:24:09.000 --> 00:24:11.000
or one of your leaders is controlling an authority.

00:24:11.000 --> 00:24:20.000
I ain't going to back off from it because it's biblical.

00:24:20.000 --> 00:24:26.000
They gave themselves to the Lord and then they gave themselves to the apostles according to the will of God,

00:24:26.000 --> 00:24:28.000
meaning it matched up with the will of God.

00:24:28.000 --> 00:24:34.000
Read 2 Corinthians 8.5. I'm not taking it out of context.

00:24:34.000 --> 00:24:36.000
Crazy, eh?

00:24:36.000 --> 00:24:38.000
Any questions? Any challenges?

00:24:49.000 --> 00:24:59.000
Where I come and say, hey Diana, I need you to consider going to Indonesia with Jeremy and with Nick

00:24:59.000 --> 00:25:09.000
to the jungles of Kalimantan because we need to build people there and then we need to build an actual shelter for them.

00:25:09.000 --> 00:25:17.000
And you just happened this morning to wake up and say, oh God, I first give myself to you.

00:25:17.000 --> 00:25:22.000
And the Lord says, great Diana, which means everything that you have is mine.

00:25:22.000 --> 00:25:26.000
And now you begin to struggle with it because it's a wrestle.

00:25:26.000 --> 00:25:30.000
And then you come up sheepishly in the front of the church and you stand before the church and say,

00:25:30.000 --> 00:25:33.000
guys, guess what I did this morning? I said this to the Lord.

00:25:33.000 --> 00:25:37.000
And now Jacob's asking me if I'm open to go to Indonesia.

00:25:37.000 --> 00:25:43.000
I just want to say, whatever it takes to build that church, I felt the Lord saying that, take everything I have.

00:25:43.000 --> 00:25:51.000
And so Jeremy and Nick, if you can just make sure that you take care of me when I come to Kalimantan, sign me up.

00:25:51.000 --> 00:25:54.000
Now you see how scary it is.

00:25:54.000 --> 00:25:57.000
Any other questions Diana?

00:26:00.000 --> 00:26:02.000
It's just nuts.

00:26:07.000 --> 00:26:09.000
See, here's the thing.

00:26:10.000 --> 00:26:13.000
On one hand, God gives me free will.

00:26:13.000 --> 00:26:19.000
Everything that I teach today, you don't have to do and you will still go to heaven.

00:26:20.000 --> 00:26:25.000
Everything that I talk about today, you don't have to do and you can still go to heaven.

00:26:25.000 --> 00:26:30.000
He gives you free will, but he has a way of operating.

00:26:30.000 --> 00:26:38.000
And when you operate that way, then you partake of what the kingdom makes available.

00:26:38.000 --> 00:26:46.000
And when you don't operate that way, you still go to heaven, but you do not partake in what the kingdom can do with you.

00:26:46.000 --> 00:26:47.000
That's the difference.

00:26:47.000 --> 00:26:50.000
It's like, Jonathan, I need more volume.

00:26:50.000 --> 00:27:00.000
It's like a child you have that's grown up and you have told the child this is how you should function.

00:27:00.000 --> 00:27:03.000
But if the child doesn't, he doesn't stop being your child.

00:27:03.000 --> 00:27:06.000
He doesn't get locked out of the house.

00:27:06.000 --> 00:27:08.000
He still can come home for dinner.

00:27:08.000 --> 00:27:10.000
He's still your child.

00:27:10.000 --> 00:27:16.000
You might be a little more careful in terms of giving him an inheritance too early, but it's still reserved for him.

00:27:16.000 --> 00:27:19.000
But he misses out on functioning well.

00:27:22.000 --> 00:27:26.000
So nothing I say can be coerced, legislated.

00:27:26.000 --> 00:27:27.000
It's free will.

00:27:27.000 --> 00:27:36.000
One of the things David found out very early in life is that, yes, I have free will, but I love running in your statutes.

00:27:36.000 --> 00:27:40.000
Enlarge my heart, oh God, that I might run in your statutes.

00:27:40.000 --> 00:27:41.000
All righty.

00:27:41.000 --> 00:27:50.000
So let's go to Malachi 3.

00:27:52.000 --> 00:27:54.000
Oh, it's working.

00:27:54.000 --> 00:27:57.000
Malachi 3, verse 11.

00:27:57.000 --> 00:28:07.000
And you'll find this conversation that God is having with Israel, and he's talking about tithes and offerings and first fruits and so forth.

00:28:07.000 --> 00:28:18.000
Guys, we have a hostile world system that will try to use money to prevent you from stepping into the fullness of the kingdom,

00:28:18.000 --> 00:28:27.000
into practical discipleship, and will do everything in its power to alienate you from God as someone who's untrustworthy when it comes to money.

00:28:27.000 --> 00:28:30.000
Every human being will have to go through this.

00:28:31.000 --> 00:28:38.000
And it's a powerful tool, which is why if we don't take a stance, who's going to teach our children?

00:28:40.000 --> 00:28:50.000
One of the things that used to happen in Israel is a drought would come, and once the drought came, the locust eggs would stay in the dry ground.

00:28:50.000 --> 00:28:54.000
And they would stay as long as the drought would continue.

00:28:55.000 --> 00:29:03.000
By now, Israel would be quite impoverished because the drought had seriously affected their crops, and then the first rains would come.

00:29:03.000 --> 00:29:05.000
But here's the horrible thing.

00:29:05.000 --> 00:29:11.000
As soon as the first rains would come, these eggs would begin to hatch.

00:29:12.000 --> 00:29:16.000
And anything that grew would immediately be devoured.

00:29:16.000 --> 00:29:20.000
How many of us this year have ever seen a drought?

00:29:20.000 --> 00:29:23.000
How many of us this year have been through that?

00:29:23.000 --> 00:29:27.000
There was this long patch where nothing seemed to happen.

00:29:27.000 --> 00:29:33.000
And you were praying, and then suddenly you saw this little shoot come out, and your heart left.

00:29:33.000 --> 00:29:37.000
But as soon as the little shoot came out, it was immediately devoured.

00:29:38.000 --> 00:29:40.000
There are many sitting here.

00:29:40.000 --> 00:29:44.000
I know some of your stories, and some of you haven't shared your stories, but it's true.

00:29:44.000 --> 00:29:46.000
What did you feel?

00:29:46.000 --> 00:29:48.000
That nothing works.

00:29:48.000 --> 00:29:52.000
That neither God helps, nor church helps, nor parents help.

00:29:52.000 --> 00:29:54.000
Abandonment.

00:29:54.000 --> 00:29:56.000
It's a powerful tool used by the enemy.

00:29:56.000 --> 00:30:00.000
Until I overcome this, I will not win wars.

00:30:08.000 --> 00:30:14.000
And here's where God says in Malachi 3.11, guys, I will rebuke the devourer.

00:30:14.000 --> 00:30:16.000
I will rebuke the devourer.

00:30:16.000 --> 00:30:18.000
I will rebuke the devourer.

00:30:20.000 --> 00:30:24.000
As in, I will put him at a standstill.

00:30:24.000 --> 00:30:26.000
He will not harm you.

00:30:26.000 --> 00:30:30.000
But he says, return to me, because you're robbing me.

00:30:30.000 --> 00:30:32.000
Strong words, eh?

00:30:32.000 --> 00:30:34.000
You're robbing me.

00:30:34.000 --> 00:30:38.000
Guys, you know that we don't even take up an offering in this church.

00:30:38.000 --> 00:30:42.000
You just have that box there, and you guys come and put your money.

00:30:42.000 --> 00:30:50.000
One of the things I can be thankful to God for as I preach this message is that this church does not grab money.

00:30:50.000 --> 00:30:56.000
Therefore, there's a freedom in what I have to say.

00:30:56.000 --> 00:31:04.000
And again, as I begin to talk about this, know that you have the free will to or not to.

00:31:04.000 --> 00:31:08.000
But God says to them, hey, you're robbing me.

00:31:08.000 --> 00:31:10.000
And they say, what do you mean, robbing?

00:31:10.000 --> 00:31:14.000
And God says, you haven't brought your tithes.

00:31:14.000 --> 00:31:18.000
And he also talks about offerings and first fruits in other places.

00:31:18.000 --> 00:31:20.000
You haven't brought that.

00:31:20.000 --> 00:31:22.000
And then he says something strange.

00:31:22.000 --> 00:31:28.000
He says, return to me, but in your returning, you will have to bring in your contributions.

00:31:28.000 --> 00:31:33.000
He somehow connects the return to money.

00:31:33.000 --> 00:31:35.000
Why?

00:31:36.000 --> 00:31:41.000
Because tithes, offerings, and first fruits will always test your heart, guys.

00:31:41.000 --> 00:31:44.000
It will always test your heart.

00:31:44.000 --> 00:31:53.000
The same Jesus who said you cannot serve God in mammon is saying to the people of Israel, come back, return to me.

00:31:53.000 --> 00:31:57.000
But as you return, bring your contributions with you.

00:31:57.000 --> 00:32:00.000
And now that's where the rubber meets the road.

00:32:00.000 --> 00:32:04.000
I want to return, but there is a struggle.

00:32:05.000 --> 00:32:12.000
On one hand, there is mammon or money that has such a severe hold on my life.

00:32:12.000 --> 00:32:15.000
On the other hand, there is God that I want to serve.

00:32:15.000 --> 00:32:18.000
It always tests your heart.

00:32:18.000 --> 00:32:22.000
It tested Abraham's heart, Genesis 14.

00:32:22.000 --> 00:32:27.000
And with every test will come ridiculous rewards if you pass.

00:32:27.000 --> 00:32:34.000
Genesis 14, he says to the king of Sodom, I raise my hands to El Elyon, the Lord of heaven and earth,

00:32:34.000 --> 00:32:40.000
the possessor of the universe, and I will not take a sandal strap from you.

00:32:40.000 --> 00:32:43.000
How does God respond? Genesis 15, 1.

00:32:43.000 --> 00:32:47.000
And God said to Abraham, I will be your great shield, as in I will protect you,

00:32:47.000 --> 00:32:53.000
and I will be your exceeding great what? Reward.

00:32:53.000 --> 00:32:58.000
It will always test you.

00:32:58.000 --> 00:33:05.000
Bring your tithes, bring your offerings, bring your first fruits into the storehouse.

00:33:05.000 --> 00:33:08.000
God said he would rebuke the devourer.

00:33:08.000 --> 00:33:10.000
So what would happen if you rebuke the devourer?

00:33:10.000 --> 00:33:12.000
Here's what would happen.

00:33:12.000 --> 00:33:19.000
The devourer, whether you look at it as money or money,

00:33:19.000 --> 00:33:30.000
the devourer, whether you look at it as money, mammon, or whether you look at it as the devil,

00:33:30.000 --> 00:33:44.000
however you look at it, the devourer will not destroy your crops and fruits.

00:33:45.000 --> 00:33:49.000
But you will have to return by giving.

00:33:49.000 --> 00:33:53.000
It's strange how God uses this so often.

00:33:53.000 --> 00:33:59.000
Another thing that really surprises me is there's a temple which is larger than this.

00:33:59.000 --> 00:34:06.000
And of all the places that he can go and sit, Jesus goes, sits next to the treasury box.

00:34:06.000 --> 00:34:11.000
And he's watching people put money.

00:34:11.000 --> 00:34:14.000
And then he says, this widow has given more.

00:34:14.000 --> 00:34:18.000
He was looking at the heart condition, not the quantity.

00:34:18.000 --> 00:34:21.000
It always reveals something in me, guys.

00:34:21.000 --> 00:34:26.000
Money always reveals something in me.

00:34:26.000 --> 00:34:36.000
So, people were robbing God by neglecting the tithe, the offering and the first fruits,

00:34:36.000 --> 00:34:40.000
People were robbing God by neglecting the tithe, the offering and the first fruits,

00:34:40.000 --> 00:34:44.000
the renewal of the relationship required.

00:34:44.000 --> 00:34:46.000
Just think of this, eh?

00:34:46.000 --> 00:34:48.000
This sounds so odd.

00:34:48.000 --> 00:35:06.000
Renewal of the relationship required returning with offerings.

00:35:06.000 --> 00:35:10.000
Odd, eh?

00:35:10.000 --> 00:35:19.000
And if they did, then God says, God will bless them.

00:35:25.000 --> 00:35:32.000
I've argued this and I've heard others argue it where they say, but tithing is mosaic law.

00:35:32.000 --> 00:35:37.000
Guys, I haven't taught on this for 14 years, I think.

00:35:37.000 --> 00:35:42.000
Yeah, I'm going to stop making disclaimers.

00:35:42.000 --> 00:35:47.000
The Bible says, people say, but tithing is from the mosaic law.

00:35:47.000 --> 00:35:50.000
Moses started it, so we shouldn't be legalistic.

00:35:50.000 --> 00:35:58.000
The crazy thing is tithing started with Abraham.

00:35:58.000 --> 00:36:02.000
And then tithing was brought in by Jacob.

00:36:02.000 --> 00:36:10.000
In Genesis 14, you see Abraham tithing to Melchizedek, 1420.

00:36:10.000 --> 00:36:15.000
And then in Genesis 28, 22, you see Jacob tithing.

00:36:15.000 --> 00:36:21.000
And you need to change your thinking and change your language.

00:36:21.000 --> 00:36:27.000
Leviticus 27 says that the tithe belongs to the Lord.

00:36:27.000 --> 00:36:33.000
So if anyone here says, I made a contribution or a donation to the church,

00:36:33.000 --> 00:36:38.000
or I made a contribution towards the salary of the pastor, here's the news.

00:36:38.000 --> 00:36:42.000
You did not.

00:36:42.000 --> 00:36:46.000
The tithe belongs to the Lord.

00:36:46.000 --> 00:36:47.000
It belongs to him.

00:36:47.000 --> 00:36:52.000
In the Old Testament, in the New Testament, all of you belongs to him.

00:36:52.000 --> 00:36:55.000
This is why sometimes I chaff.

00:36:55.000 --> 00:36:58.000
I'm not saying we're going to remove it.

00:36:58.000 --> 00:37:03.000
But I chaff at the idea of a charitable receipt or a donation receipt.

00:37:03.000 --> 00:37:08.000
Nothing we give is a donation, a contribution, or a charity.

00:37:08.000 --> 00:37:12.000
It belongs to him.

00:37:12.000 --> 00:37:14.000
And what is a tithe?

00:37:14.000 --> 00:37:18.000
For those of us who don't know what a tithe is, if a farmer had ten sheep,

00:37:18.000 --> 00:37:22.000
they would walk past him and one would go nine, seven, eight, nine,

00:37:22.000 --> 00:37:24.000
and the tenth one would be separated.

00:37:24.000 --> 00:37:27.000
One tenth of what belonged to you.

00:37:27.000 --> 00:37:29.000
What were offerings?

00:37:29.000 --> 00:37:32.000
Offerings were besides the tenth.

00:37:32.000 --> 00:37:34.000
They would give for different reasons.

00:37:34.000 --> 00:37:36.000
What was firstfruits?

00:37:36.000 --> 00:37:40.000
Firstfruits was anything that came out of the ground, anything that you produced first.

00:37:40.000 --> 00:37:41.000
Anything.

00:37:41.000 --> 00:37:44.000
You would say, oh God, I'd happily give it to you.

00:37:44.000 --> 00:37:47.000
You should read how happy they were to do this.

00:37:47.000 --> 00:38:10.000
Deuteronomy 26, 1-11.

00:38:10.000 --> 00:38:12.000
Listen to this.

00:38:12.000 --> 00:38:16.000
I'm just reading it from the NIV, but listen to it.

00:38:16.000 --> 00:38:21.000
When you have entered the land the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance,

00:38:21.000 --> 00:38:25.000
and have taken possession of it and settled in it,

00:38:25.000 --> 00:38:30.000
take some of the firstfruits of all that you produce from the soil of the land

00:38:30.000 --> 00:38:34.000
the Lord your God is giving you and put them in a basket.

00:38:34.000 --> 00:38:39.000
Then go to the place the Lord your God will choose as a dwelling for his name.

00:38:39.000 --> 00:38:42.000
And say to the priest in the office at the time,

00:38:42.000 --> 00:38:47.000
I declare today to the Lord your God that I have come to the land,

00:38:47.000 --> 00:38:50.000
the land sworn to our forefathers to give us.

00:38:50.000 --> 00:38:54.000
I mean it's like all my life you have been faithful.

00:38:54.000 --> 00:38:56.000
That's what they're basically saying.

00:38:56.000 --> 00:38:59.000
And then it goes on to say in verse four,

00:38:59.000 --> 00:39:01.000
the priest shall take the basket from your hands

00:39:01.000 --> 00:39:04.000
and set it down in front of the altar of the Lord your God.

00:39:04.000 --> 00:39:07.000
Then you shall declare before the Lord your God,

00:39:07.000 --> 00:39:11.000
my father was a wandering Aramean.

00:39:11.000 --> 00:39:14.000
He went down into Egypt with a few people

00:39:14.000 --> 00:39:18.000
and lived there and became a great nation, powerful and numerous.

00:39:18.000 --> 00:39:23.000
But the Egyptians mistreated us and made us suffer, putting us to hard labor.

00:39:23.000 --> 00:39:26.000
Then we cried out to the Lord the God of our fathers

00:39:26.000 --> 00:39:30.000
and the Lord heard our voice and saw our misery, our toil and oppression.

00:39:30.000 --> 00:39:35.000
So the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm.

00:39:35.000 --> 00:39:38.000
We are not talking about a blooming contribution.

00:39:38.000 --> 00:39:41.000
We are talking about the goodness of God in the land of the living,

00:39:41.000 --> 00:39:44.000
day after day after day after day,

00:39:44.000 --> 00:39:49.000
and recounting and calling to remembrance all that he has done.

00:39:49.000 --> 00:39:52.000
That's what we are talking about.

00:39:52.000 --> 00:39:55.000
And then it goes on to say,

00:39:55.000 --> 00:40:00.000
so the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm

00:40:00.000 --> 00:40:03.000
with great terror and with miraculous signs and wonders.

00:40:03.000 --> 00:40:07.000
Verse nine, he brought us to this place and gave us this land,

00:40:07.000 --> 00:40:09.000
flowing with milk and honey.

00:40:09.000 --> 00:40:13.000
Then, verse ten, and now I bring the first fruits of the soil

00:40:13.000 --> 00:40:16.000
that you, O Lord, have given me.

00:40:16.000 --> 00:40:19.000
Place the basket before the Lord your God and bow down before him,

00:40:19.000 --> 00:40:22.000
and you and the Levites and the aliens among you shall rejoice

00:40:22.000 --> 00:40:24.000
in all the good things the Lord your God has given you

00:40:24.000 --> 00:40:26.000
to you and to your household.

00:40:26.000 --> 00:40:30.000
Beautifully. It was a joyous thing, man.

00:40:30.000 --> 00:40:33.000
Any questions before we go on?

00:40:39.000 --> 00:40:41.000
Go ahead.

00:40:41.000 --> 00:40:44.000
You mentioned Abraham and Jacob's tithe.

00:40:44.000 --> 00:40:46.000
Did they tithe or was it offered?

00:40:46.000 --> 00:40:48.000
It was a tithe.

00:40:48.000 --> 00:40:51.000
Abraham gave a tenth of his spoils,

00:40:51.000 --> 00:40:54.000
and Jacob said, I'll give you a tenth of all that I.

00:40:54.000 --> 00:40:57.000
So it was a deliberate tithe.

00:40:57.000 --> 00:40:59.000
Go ahead.

00:40:59.000 --> 00:41:01.000
The New Testament talks about giving.

00:41:01.000 --> 00:41:06.000
So would it be right to say that giving is more important than giving?

00:41:06.000 --> 00:41:09.000
Yes. Wait for my next point.

00:41:09.000 --> 00:41:14.000
So how do we deal with this with the New Testament?

00:41:14.000 --> 00:41:22.000
Guys, the Old Testament discipline of giving

00:41:22.000 --> 00:41:32.000
creates the New Testament habit of generosity.

00:41:32.000 --> 00:41:36.000
The New Testament discipline of giving

00:41:36.000 --> 00:41:42.000
creates the New Testament habit of generosity.

00:41:42.000 --> 00:41:45.000
The New Testament demands everything of me.

00:41:45.000 --> 00:41:47.000
Hey, look at me.

00:41:47.000 --> 00:41:49.000
I'm not a human being.

00:41:49.000 --> 00:41:52.000
The New Testament demands everything of me.

00:41:52.000 --> 00:41:53.000
Hey, look at the law.

00:41:53.000 --> 00:41:54.000
What did the law say?

00:41:54.000 --> 00:41:57.000
Give me one day out of seven.

00:41:57.000 --> 00:41:58.000
And what do we do?

00:41:58.000 --> 00:42:02.000
Give him all seven days.

00:42:02.000 --> 00:42:06.000
What does the law say when it comes to the twelve tribes?

00:42:06.000 --> 00:42:10.000
Set aside for me one tribe, and they shall be priests to me.

00:42:10.000 --> 00:42:11.000
What do we say?

00:42:11.000 --> 00:42:15.000
We have a common priesthood, regardless of which tribe we come from.

00:42:15.000 --> 00:42:20.000
The law says, set aside a tenth, for the tenth belongs to the law.

00:42:20.000 --> 00:42:22.000
What do we say?

00:42:22.000 --> 00:42:25.000
Everything, oh God, belongs to you.

00:42:25.000 --> 00:42:26.000
What do you want?

00:42:26.000 --> 00:42:33.000
It is easy to say, but to develop this giving of the New Testament,

00:42:33.000 --> 00:42:36.000
which does not have percentages, which does not have type,

00:42:36.000 --> 00:42:40.000
I would suggest to you that this is where you can start.

00:42:40.000 --> 00:42:43.000
This itself is very difficult.

00:42:43.000 --> 00:42:44.000
This is very difficult.

00:42:44.000 --> 00:42:47.000
But this actually belongs to the law if we went to the Old Testament,

00:42:47.000 --> 00:42:50.000
but we belong to him completely.

00:42:50.000 --> 00:42:56.000
You think any of what you have in your bank is yours.

00:42:56.000 --> 00:43:00.000
Do you think anything that you have in the bank came by your own effort?

00:43:00.000 --> 00:43:01.000
Yes, you were diligent.

00:43:01.000 --> 00:43:05.000
Yes, you sweat and you work, and there's the toil that comes in.

00:43:05.000 --> 00:43:11.000
But do you think any of that actually belongs to you when you belong to Christ?

00:43:14.000 --> 00:43:20.000
The New Testament ups the ante because it's no longer based on law, but based on love.

00:43:20.000 --> 00:43:26.000
Hey, do you think anything Mike has actually belongs to him?

00:43:26.000 --> 00:43:29.000
Won't he lay it all down for Karen?

00:43:29.000 --> 00:43:30.000
Why?

00:43:30.000 --> 00:43:32.000
Because Karen has the law on her side?

00:43:32.000 --> 00:43:36.000
No, because Karen has love on her side.

00:43:36.000 --> 00:43:40.000
She's done it already.

00:43:41.000 --> 00:43:43.000
The difference between the Old Testament and the New Testament,

00:43:43.000 --> 00:43:48.000
and the reason the New Testament ups the ante is because the Old Testament is the love,

00:43:48.000 --> 00:43:53.000
but the New Testament is based on love for him and love for others.

00:43:53.000 --> 00:43:58.000
That's why it goes up a notch.

00:43:58.000 --> 00:44:03.000
I mean, if TD Bank fell in love with me, can you believe the interest I would get on money?

00:44:03.000 --> 00:44:08.000
No, but they stick to the law.

00:44:08.000 --> 00:44:10.000
Bitcoin, don't even talk about it.

00:44:10.000 --> 00:44:13.000
One day it's in love with me, one day it hates me.

00:44:13.000 --> 00:44:15.000
Right now it hates me.

00:44:15.000 --> 00:44:17.000
Oh, Jacob, so you have Bitcoin.

00:44:17.000 --> 00:44:20.000
I didn't say that.

00:44:20.000 --> 00:44:25.000
I see how your mind is working.

00:44:25.000 --> 00:44:31.000
Tithes and offerings test the heart.

00:44:31.000 --> 00:44:36.000
Tithes and offerings test the heart.

00:44:36.000 --> 00:44:40.000
And in testing the heart, it proves where you're at.

00:44:40.000 --> 00:44:46.000
And then I end up either having the ability to handle greater wealth

00:44:46.000 --> 00:44:55.000
or stay where I am or handle lesser wealth.

00:44:55.000 --> 00:44:58.000
And let's not even go into before taxes or after taxes.

00:44:58.000 --> 00:45:00.000
You shouldn't be asking that question.

00:45:00.000 --> 00:45:05.000
Yeah?

00:45:05.000 --> 00:45:07.000
It's like your wife giving you money to buy groceries

00:45:07.000 --> 00:45:20.000
and then checking to see if you return the right change.

00:45:20.000 --> 00:45:22.000
Personally, I don't care for a charitable receipt,

00:45:22.000 --> 00:45:26.000
but that's my personal opinion and I'm not imposing it.

00:45:26.000 --> 00:45:28.000
Yeah?

00:45:28.000 --> 00:45:31.000
Charitable receipts, is it a good idea or not?

00:45:31.000 --> 00:45:34.000
I'm saying do not look at anything you give to the church

00:45:34.000 --> 00:45:36.000
as a contribution or a donation.

00:45:36.000 --> 00:45:39.000
It actually belongs to him.

00:45:39.000 --> 00:45:44.000
You cannot interact it to him, so you're bringing it here.

00:45:44.000 --> 00:46:00.000
If you can interact it to him, try it, and then let me know how it works.

00:46:00.000 --> 00:46:05.000
Guys, here are some other truths that we need to...

00:46:05.000 --> 00:46:08.000
And if you do this, if you bring your tithes, your offerings,

00:46:08.000 --> 00:46:09.000
and your first roots...

00:46:09.000 --> 00:46:11.000
So Jacob, how do you do first roots?

00:46:11.000 --> 00:46:13.000
There are people in this church that have been practicing

00:46:13.000 --> 00:46:15.000
first roots for years on end.

00:46:15.000 --> 00:46:16.000
Here's how it works.

00:46:16.000 --> 00:46:18.000
Every year at the beginning of the year,

00:46:18.000 --> 00:46:22.000
I'll decide either a week of my annual income or a month of my annual income

00:46:22.000 --> 00:46:28.000
or a percentage of my annual income or just in a month that I feel God saying,

00:46:28.000 --> 00:46:30.000
or putting in my heart, I'll go to God and say,

00:46:30.000 --> 00:46:40.000
Father, this money I'm going to release even before I know what's going to come next year.

00:46:40.000 --> 00:46:41.000
It's like a farmer.

00:46:41.000 --> 00:46:42.000
He was a principal.

00:46:42.000 --> 00:46:43.000
It was a beautiful principal.

00:46:43.000 --> 00:46:46.000
A farmer would have a crop that was coming up.

00:46:46.000 --> 00:46:50.000
He would look at the crop, and he doesn't know if the rains will come.

00:46:50.000 --> 00:46:53.000
He doesn't know if the locusts will attack.

00:46:53.000 --> 00:46:56.000
But as soon as the sheafs would come up, he would say,

00:46:56.000 --> 00:46:59.000
Oh, God, thank you for these first sheafs.

00:46:59.000 --> 00:47:03.000
The first always belongs to you.

00:47:03.000 --> 00:47:07.000
And therefore, I take this and I bring it to you, saying,

00:47:07.000 --> 00:47:10.000
I don't care about whether the locusts come or the rain comes.

00:47:10.000 --> 00:47:12.000
I'm not going to hedge my bets.

00:47:12.000 --> 00:47:13.000
I trust you enough.

00:47:13.000 --> 00:47:15.000
And I bring it as a heave offering to you.

00:47:15.000 --> 00:47:17.000
And they would literally bring it before God.

00:47:17.000 --> 00:47:20.000
And God would turn and then say, and this is in Scripture,

00:47:20.000 --> 00:47:21.000
God would turn and then say,

00:47:21.000 --> 00:47:26.000
You do not know what the future holds, but you trusted me.

00:47:26.000 --> 00:47:31.000
And because you trusted me and gave me the first, I will bless the rest.

00:47:31.000 --> 00:47:35.000
Again, all of this is free will.

00:47:35.000 --> 00:47:37.000
And so how do you apportion it?

00:47:37.000 --> 00:47:41.000
Up to you.

00:47:41.000 --> 00:47:43.000
Up to you.

00:47:43.000 --> 00:47:47.000
But these are surefire ways of the kingdom,

00:47:47.000 --> 00:47:53.000
where a God who is a covenantal God says to Josh, says to Mike, says to Jane,

00:47:53.000 --> 00:47:57.000
Listen, you trusted me with the first and I'm going to bless the rest.

00:47:57.000 --> 00:48:03.000
Do you know what that even means when he says I am going to bless the rest?

00:48:03.000 --> 00:48:06.000
Malachi 3, verse 11 or 12 says, Here's what I'll do.

00:48:06.000 --> 00:48:09.000
I'll rebuke the devourer, as in he won't be able to get to you.

00:48:09.000 --> 00:48:16.000
Second, I'll make sure that your wine and your trees will never be childless.

00:48:16.000 --> 00:48:19.000
That's the actual sense of the word, that they will not cast their fruit,

00:48:19.000 --> 00:48:26.000
that they will not be childless, and that I'll bless the root of your crops.

00:48:26.000 --> 00:48:29.000
And then he says, Do it only if you want to.

00:48:29.000 --> 00:48:30.000
It's a free will offering.

00:48:30.000 --> 00:48:32.000
It doesn't affect your eternal security.

00:48:32.000 --> 00:48:36.000
But my God, it tests your heart, man.

00:48:36.000 --> 00:48:40.000
Even as I'm saying right now, I can see some of your hearts chaffing.

00:48:40.000 --> 00:48:45.000
The right ventricle and the left auricle are just going this way.

00:48:45.000 --> 00:48:50.000
I don't know if auricle is part of the heart, but let's just go with ventricles.

00:48:50.000 --> 00:48:58.000
Isaiah 55, verse 1.

00:48:58.000 --> 00:49:02.000
Here's what God is shouting out.

00:49:02.000 --> 00:49:07.000
He's saying, Hey, you can't buy milk and bread with money,

00:49:07.000 --> 00:49:13.000
but if you hunger, I'll give you everything.

00:49:13.000 --> 00:49:18.000
Do not waste your time running after bread and milk that you have to buy with money.

00:49:18.000 --> 00:49:19.000
Come to me.

00:49:19.000 --> 00:49:21.000
Come with hunger.

00:49:21.000 --> 00:49:22.000
It's strange.

00:49:22.000 --> 00:49:26.000
A man who hungers after the things of God will do anything,

00:49:26.000 --> 00:49:32.000
including put mammon at the feet and not on the head.

00:49:32.000 --> 00:49:35.000
Some of you are sitting here and saying, But you don't know my condition.

00:49:35.000 --> 00:49:36.000
I'm a student. You don't know my loan.

00:49:36.000 --> 00:49:39.000
Hey, guys, you students who are here and have taken loans,

00:49:39.000 --> 00:49:45.000
you have no idea how many of the people sitting here have taken loans that are at least 20 times more than yours.

00:49:45.000 --> 00:49:51.000
I just want our students who are here to get off our horses that we ride saying,

00:49:51.000 --> 00:49:53.000
You don't know how difficult it is.

00:49:53.000 --> 00:49:56.000
You got squat in terms of difficulties.

00:49:56.000 --> 00:49:58.000
You should have seen when Derek came in.

00:49:58.000 --> 00:50:01.000
You should have seen when Sue came in.

00:50:01.000 --> 00:50:04.000
It was tough.

00:50:04.000 --> 00:50:10.000
That's just a gentle rebuke to students who think that the weight is on their shoulders.

00:50:10.000 --> 00:50:13.000
It ain't.

00:50:13.000 --> 00:50:16.000
Yeah, it ain't.

00:50:16.000 --> 00:50:19.000
I'm not saying your situation is not difficult.

00:50:19.000 --> 00:50:26.000
I'm just saying, don't wallow in it.

00:50:26.000 --> 00:50:32.000
Don't wallow in it.

00:50:32.000 --> 00:50:37.000
If you felt hurt by the strength of what I said, just reel it back a little.

00:50:37.000 --> 00:50:40.000
Once you're hungry, guys, you will not hold back.

00:50:40.000 --> 00:50:43.000
You will not hold back because of mammon.

00:50:43.000 --> 00:50:45.000
You will not hold back because of your security.

00:50:45.000 --> 00:50:48.000
Any man who gets hungry after God is unstoppable.

00:50:48.000 --> 00:50:51.000
Any man who is hungry after God is unstoppable.

00:50:51.000 --> 00:50:55.000
Elisha was plowing with 12 yoke of oxen.

00:50:55.000 --> 00:51:00.000
I don't know whether all 12 belong to him or whether just the last pair belong to him, but he was hungry.

00:51:00.000 --> 00:51:02.000
He had been hungry for 15 years.

00:51:02.000 --> 00:51:04.000
He'd been washing Elijah's hand.

00:51:04.000 --> 00:51:05.000
He'd been following Elijah.

00:51:05.000 --> 00:51:08.000
He'd been learning how to prophesy, but he was hungry.

00:51:08.000 --> 00:51:09.000
And what does he do?

00:51:09.000 --> 00:51:11.000
Elijah comes and throws his mantle on Elisha.

00:51:11.000 --> 00:51:12.000
And what does Elisha do?

00:51:12.000 --> 00:51:19.000
Burns up the plow, takes an oxen, slays it, puts it on the altar, and says, can I go and say bye to my parents?

00:51:19.000 --> 00:51:21.000
And Elijah says, what is it to me?

00:51:21.000 --> 00:51:22.000
And Elisha begins to follow him.

00:51:22.000 --> 00:51:29.000
Hunger will bring you to a place where mammon no longer is given the respect that you give it.

00:51:29.000 --> 00:51:31.000
Isaiah 55.1 says it correctly.

00:51:31.000 --> 00:51:34.000
Why run after bread and milk that you have to pay for?

00:51:34.000 --> 00:51:37.000
Come. If you're hungry, come.

00:51:41.000 --> 00:51:44.000
Hunger has the ability to beat mammon.

00:51:48.000 --> 00:51:56.000
Because a man who is hungry will use faith to break out of the snare of mammon and will use obedience to make mammon his servant.

00:52:00.000 --> 00:52:04.000
Only then can we embrace Isaiah 54 verse 2.

00:52:04.000 --> 00:52:06.000
What does Isaiah 54 verse 2 say?

00:52:06.000 --> 00:52:10.000
Lengthen your stakes, strengthen your cords, sprint your tent curtains wider.

00:52:10.000 --> 00:52:14.000
How can you do that when you don't have money for the rope and the tent?

00:52:15.000 --> 00:52:19.000
That's a great scripture to give everybody in the beginning of the year.

00:52:21.000 --> 00:52:23.000
After that, what do you do?

00:52:23.000 --> 00:52:26.000
That's when hunger and faith and obedience must kick in.

00:52:26.000 --> 00:52:29.000
And if a man is not hungry, he will not extend his tent.

00:52:30.000 --> 00:52:32.000
And why are we extending our tent?

00:52:32.000 --> 00:52:36.000
It's not let my business grow bigger and let my church have more people.

00:52:36.000 --> 00:52:44.000
It is, oh God, extend our tent so that we can make desolate cities come alive and the nations I inherit.

00:52:46.000 --> 00:52:47.000
That's why.

00:52:48.000 --> 00:52:50.000
It's always for the benefit of someone else.

00:52:50.000 --> 00:52:52.000
This is not a prosperity message.

00:52:52.000 --> 00:52:58.000
This is a message that will teach you to die to something that is super important to you and to me, which is money.

00:53:13.000 --> 00:53:15.000
What does it mean to extend the tent?

00:53:15.000 --> 00:53:22.000
It is if God says, hey Nick, I want you to start a school for those that are struggling with studies.

00:53:24.000 --> 00:53:27.000
And you're struggling with teaching and he's telling you to start a school.

00:53:28.000 --> 00:53:29.000
That's extending your tent.

00:53:29.000 --> 00:53:33.000
And now begins the process of how do I even do this?

00:53:33.000 --> 00:53:35.000
Does this mean that I give up my day job?

00:53:35.000 --> 00:53:46.000
You cannot stretch your tents till you begin to hear his voice and know that now you can extend your jurisdiction into wherever he tells you to go.

00:53:46.000 --> 00:53:50.000
And so the room you create is the space that God will fill.

00:53:50.000 --> 00:53:53.000
The room you create is the space that God will fill.

00:53:53.000 --> 00:53:55.000
The room you create.

00:53:55.000 --> 00:54:00.000
Part of the reason I want to teach things is so that we can create room, man.

00:54:00.000 --> 00:54:01.000
So that he can fill.

00:54:01.000 --> 00:54:05.000
We're not going to take him an offering after this teaching.

00:54:05.000 --> 00:54:08.000
But what if someone here got it?

00:54:08.000 --> 00:54:11.000
Do you know how expansive your life will become?

00:54:11.000 --> 00:54:15.000
Do you know how expansive my life will become as I practice this?

00:54:15.000 --> 00:54:22.000
Do you know the things that I can accomplish if I lived like this without touching anything in Acts 29?

00:54:22.000 --> 00:54:25.000
Your life begins to expand.

00:54:25.000 --> 00:54:29.000
Oil will flow as long as you provide vessels.

00:54:29.000 --> 00:54:30.000
What are vessels?

00:54:30.000 --> 00:54:36.000
Vessels are the work God has you to do and the life that you present to him.

00:54:36.000 --> 00:54:44.000
Present a life that is free from both the love and the fear of money and you will find that the vessel that you are and the work that you do,

00:54:44.000 --> 00:54:47.000
will always be provided for and I intend to prove it to you this year.

00:54:47.000 --> 00:54:51.000
And you can take that word and hold me to it at the end of December.

00:54:51.000 --> 00:54:55.000
Because what is appointed to this church is so impossible, so global,

00:54:55.000 --> 00:54:59.000
that we don't have either the manpower or the resources to do it.

00:54:59.000 --> 00:55:03.000
It must be the hand of God and it must be the hand of God.

00:55:03.000 --> 00:55:06.000
And I want to tell you that the manpower is the hand of God.

00:55:06.000 --> 00:55:09.000
And I want to tell you that the manpower is the hand of God.

00:55:09.000 --> 00:55:12.000
And I want to tell you that the manpower is the hand of God.

00:55:12.000 --> 00:55:15.000
And I want to tell you that the manpower is the hand of God.

00:55:15.000 --> 00:55:18.000
And I want to tell you that the manpower is the hand of God.

00:55:18.000 --> 00:55:21.000
And I want to tell you that the manpower is the hand of God.

00:55:21.000 --> 00:55:24.000
And I want to tell you that the manpower is the hand of God.

00:55:24.000 --> 00:55:27.000
And I want to tell you that the manpower is the hand of God.

00:55:27.000 --> 00:55:30.000
And I want to tell you that the manpower is the hand of God.

00:55:30.000 --> 00:55:33.000
And I want to tell you that the manpower is the hand of God.

00:55:33.000 --> 00:55:36.000
And I want to tell you that the manpower is the hand of God.

00:55:36.000 --> 00:55:39.000
As long as you present yourself before God, the oil will flow.

00:55:39.000 --> 00:55:41.000
And here's the thing, guys.

00:55:41.000 --> 00:55:44.000
I'm trying to work this out.

00:55:44.000 --> 00:55:50.000
Like Paul, I say, I don't know it fully, but I'm trying to work it out.

00:55:50.000 --> 00:55:55.000
The oil will flow every day.

00:55:55.000 --> 00:55:58.000
Here's a question that you need to ask.

00:55:58.000 --> 00:56:04.000
Can I live carefree in the certainty of daily bread?

00:56:04.000 --> 00:56:07.000
Can I live carefree?

00:56:07.000 --> 00:56:09.000
Not can I live scared.

00:56:09.000 --> 00:56:11.000
Can I live anxiously?

00:56:11.000 --> 00:56:19.000
Can I live carefree in the certainty of daily bread?

00:56:19.000 --> 00:56:22.000
Wow.

00:56:22.000 --> 00:56:31.000
Can I live carefree in the certainty that my daily bread will be provided?

00:56:31.000 --> 00:56:34.000
The oil will flow because he is I Am.

00:56:34.000 --> 00:56:38.000
I read you that verse from 1 Kings 17, 9, two weeks ago.

00:56:38.000 --> 00:56:40.000
Such a beautiful verse.

00:56:40.000 --> 00:56:43.000
Look at what it says in 1 Kings 17, 9.

00:56:43.000 --> 00:56:49.000
Verse 9, it says, And God said to Elijah, I have already prepared a widow for you,

00:56:49.000 --> 00:56:53.000
who will supply you food, so go.

00:56:53.000 --> 00:57:00.000
The I Am God is saying he has already, so that Elijah will have.

00:57:00.000 --> 00:57:03.000
And yet the woman doesn't know it because when he gets there,

00:57:03.000 --> 00:57:08.000
the woman says I'm making a little bit of cake, planning to eat it, and I'm going to die.

00:57:08.000 --> 00:57:16.000
But Yahweh says, I Am, I have already, and you will.

00:57:16.000 --> 00:57:18.000
Come on, man.

00:57:18.000 --> 00:57:22.000
If we ponder on these things, if we settle on these things, if we think on these things,

00:57:22.000 --> 00:57:26.000
you're talking about the creator of the universe for whom nothing is impossible.

00:57:26.000 --> 00:57:28.000
Surely, Jacob, you can step into this.

00:57:28.000 --> 00:57:31.000
Surely, we can step into this.

00:57:35.000 --> 00:57:37.000
Any questions?

00:57:43.000 --> 00:57:45.000
Okay.

00:57:45.000 --> 00:57:53.000
Guys, this is more, this is almost like not a second teaching.

00:57:53.000 --> 00:57:55.000
Don't worry, it won't go that long.

00:57:55.000 --> 00:58:00.000
This is like some of the things that I expect of you as we go into the year ahead.

00:58:00.000 --> 00:58:07.000
In the year ahead, I want to raise up sons of God, not sons of Jacob.

00:58:07.000 --> 00:58:14.000
Sons of God, I want to raise sons of God here, sons of God who are not alienated from their father

00:58:14.000 --> 00:58:18.000
just because of money, sons of God who know the nature of the father.

00:58:18.000 --> 00:58:22.000
In the year ahead, I want to raise up sons of God, not sons of Jacob,

00:58:22.000 --> 00:58:29.000
though the fact remains that you have to accept me as a father if you want to be part of this house.

00:58:29.000 --> 00:58:30.000
Yeah?

00:58:30.000 --> 00:58:34.000
On one hand, if you want to be part of this house, it's impossible for you to be part of this house

00:58:34.000 --> 00:58:36.000
without accepting me as the father of this house.

00:58:36.000 --> 00:58:39.000
But I'm not interested in raising sons of Jacob.

00:58:39.000 --> 00:58:41.000
I'm interested in raising sons of God.

00:58:41.000 --> 00:58:44.000
And I'm going to do everything in my power to do that.

00:58:46.000 --> 00:58:48.000
Any questions on that one?

00:58:49.000 --> 00:58:58.000
This, in a way, is my commitment to you that I pray God that he will give me the grace to somehow bring through.

00:59:02.000 --> 00:59:05.000
Second, in the year ahead, I'm hoping to raise sons.

00:59:05.000 --> 00:59:07.000
And when I say sons, it's gender-free.

00:59:07.000 --> 00:59:09.000
A son is both a male and a female.

00:59:09.000 --> 00:59:13.000
In the year ahead, I'm hoping to raise sons who are battle-ready.

00:59:13.000 --> 00:59:15.000
We are training our hands for war.

00:59:15.000 --> 00:59:18.000
Kingdom implies warfare. Warfare implies kingdom.

00:59:18.000 --> 00:59:20.000
You cannot have one without the other.

00:59:20.000 --> 00:59:24.000
And Richmond cannot have the kingdom advance without warfare.

00:59:26.000 --> 00:59:32.000
In the year ahead, I'm hoping to raise sons who are battle-ready, who can carry new mantles.

00:59:32.000 --> 00:59:34.000
New mantles.

00:59:36.000 --> 00:59:38.000
Not old ones.

00:59:40.000 --> 00:59:43.000
Who can carry the weight of our work globally.

00:59:43.000 --> 00:59:45.000
There's things to be done in Egypt.

00:59:45.000 --> 00:59:47.000
There's things to be done in St. Martin's.

00:59:47.000 --> 00:59:49.000
There's things to be done in Brazil.

00:59:49.000 --> 00:59:51.000
There's things to be done in so many places.

00:59:51.000 --> 00:59:57.000
How few do we have to carry the weight globally?

00:59:57.000 --> 01:00:04.000
And that's when you think, how in the world are we going to do that when I'm already working three jobs and can barely meet my needs?

01:00:05.000 --> 01:00:08.000
And then we go back to the earlier message, which I won't repeat. Don't worry.

01:00:08.000 --> 01:00:18.000
In the year ahead, I'm hoping to raise sons who are battle-ready, who can carry mantles, who can carry the weight of the work globally,

01:00:18.000 --> 01:00:22.000
who have abilities and an inheritance from God.

01:00:22.000 --> 01:00:28.000
And some of the inheritance is from God, and some of the inheritance you can only get through your leaders.

01:00:28.000 --> 01:00:30.000
You can question on these things.

01:00:30.000 --> 01:00:36.000
Open, innocent, honest discussion will be encouraged in this church in 2026.

01:00:36.000 --> 01:00:38.000
Foolishness, no.

01:00:38.000 --> 01:00:41.000
But open, honest, innocent questions will be encouraged.

01:00:41.000 --> 01:00:43.000
What does foolishness look like?

01:00:43.000 --> 01:00:50.000
Foolishness looks like when it's accusatory, when it's fault-finding, when it's divisive, when it's rebellious, when it's entitled,

01:00:50.000 --> 01:00:52.000
when it's familiar, when it's not.

01:00:52.000 --> 01:00:54.000
That's when it's foolishness.

01:00:54.000 --> 01:01:00.000
But honest, innocent, inquisitive questions will always be encouraged.

01:01:00.000 --> 01:01:06.000
You must question things that you think doesn't match with the word.

01:01:10.000 --> 01:01:12.000
Here's the other thing.

01:01:12.000 --> 01:01:17.000
In the year ahead, do not go back to your past and say, this happened to me 25 years ago.

01:01:17.000 --> 01:01:18.000
Here's the other thing.

01:01:18.000 --> 01:01:24.000
In the year ahead, do not go back to your past and say, this happened to me 20 years ago in that church or this church,

01:01:24.000 --> 01:01:26.000
and so I have to be careful.

01:01:26.000 --> 01:01:35.000
If that is how you lived your life, you would never work a day in your life because of the last experience you had at work.

01:01:35.000 --> 01:01:40.000
We can't hold on to that forever.

01:01:40.000 --> 01:01:44.000
Remember, guys, it's only what is original that will be counterfeited.

01:01:44.000 --> 01:01:47.000
It is only what is authentic that will be abused.

01:01:47.000 --> 01:01:51.000
The counterfeit will never be counterfeited.

01:01:51.000 --> 01:01:56.000
And that is why things in the Bible that are so precious, that are God principles,

01:01:56.000 --> 01:02:05.000
principles of the Creator are being swept under the carpet because nobody wants to touch it because someone perverted it.

01:02:05.000 --> 01:02:08.000
That is a shame.

01:02:08.000 --> 01:02:13.000
Because these are the principles that are covenant making God made with his bride.

01:02:23.000 --> 01:02:30.000
In the year ahead, this is a house where you can receive your inheritance and the grace needed for life.

01:02:30.000 --> 01:02:35.000
Because we are going to reinforce the structure of fathers and sons in this house.

01:02:35.000 --> 01:02:41.000
For too long, I've been soft on it because I was scared of the abuse that had happened in different parts of the world

01:02:41.000 --> 01:02:47.000
and ones that had made accusations against some of us and definitely against me.

01:02:47.000 --> 01:02:49.000
I was backing off.

01:02:49.000 --> 01:02:51.000
I felt the Lord saying, bring it back.

01:02:51.000 --> 01:02:53.000
Bring it back.

01:02:53.000 --> 01:02:55.000
Bring it back.

01:02:56.000 --> 01:02:58.000
Bring it back.

01:02:58.000 --> 01:03:00.000
Bring it back.

01:03:00.000 --> 01:03:06.000
Bring back the foundation of the church, which is a family made up of fathers and sons.

01:03:06.000 --> 01:03:11.000
Bring back that structure and people will get their inheritances.

01:03:11.000 --> 01:03:13.000
And people will walk in their grace.

01:03:13.000 --> 01:03:15.000
So your question is, what is my inheritance?

01:03:15.000 --> 01:03:22.000
Hey, you will find your inheritance because it is being gathered for you from God to be given to you.

01:03:22.000 --> 01:03:24.000
And you will find it.

01:03:24.000 --> 01:03:27.000
But it shall be available in this house going forward.

01:03:27.000 --> 01:03:30.000
Because we will restructure how that is done.

01:03:30.000 --> 01:03:32.000
No more backing off for it.

01:03:32.000 --> 01:03:40.000
I repent for being a little lacking in courage because of a few experiences that were sour.

01:03:44.000 --> 01:03:46.000
Nothing like receiving your inheritance and grace.

01:03:46.000 --> 01:03:47.000
What is grace?

01:03:47.000 --> 01:03:53.000
Grace is the substance or the property in something that drives it to function a certain way.

01:03:53.000 --> 01:03:54.000
Hear me again.

01:03:54.000 --> 01:03:58.000
What is grace when God says, I'll give you grace for this?

01:03:58.000 --> 01:04:05.000
What is grace when someone says, what is the grace that's resident in Mike?

01:04:05.000 --> 01:04:06.000
What is grace?

01:04:06.000 --> 01:04:15.000
Grace is defined as a substance or the property in a thing that drives it to function as it should.

01:04:15.000 --> 01:04:22.000
It is the substance or the property in a thing that drives it to function the way it should.

01:04:22.000 --> 01:04:24.000
It's not ministry.

01:04:24.000 --> 01:04:28.000
It's not being a pastor.

01:04:28.000 --> 01:04:30.000
It's not a position.

01:04:30.000 --> 01:04:33.000
What is the grace in Iris?

01:04:33.000 --> 01:04:43.000
There is a property or a substance that was given to her from the divine nature of God that drives her to function the way she is.

01:04:43.000 --> 01:04:52.000
Once you find it or once we help or I help her or Derek helps her to find it, she now begins to operate in it.

01:04:52.000 --> 01:04:59.000
Acts chapter 14, verse 26 and 27.

01:04:59.000 --> 01:05:05.000
It says that after they went to Presidia, they decided to come back to Antioch.

01:05:05.000 --> 01:05:06.000
Who?

01:05:06.000 --> 01:05:07.000
Paul and Barnabas.

01:05:07.000 --> 01:05:11.000
And they came back to Antioch and they began to share with the disciples what had happened in their journeys.

01:05:11.000 --> 01:05:15.000
And they came back to the place where they were commended to grace.

01:05:15.000 --> 01:05:21.000
And they came back having accomplished everything that grace had meant them to accomplish.

01:05:21.000 --> 01:05:26.000
How do you receive grace?

01:05:26.000 --> 01:05:29.000
You receive grace only through two methods.

01:05:29.000 --> 01:05:32.000
One, the word.

01:05:32.000 --> 01:05:39.000
Because it says in John 1, 14, and he was the word and he was full of grace and truth.

01:05:39.000 --> 01:05:45.000
You receive grace through the word and you receive grace through sent ones.

01:05:45.000 --> 01:05:50.000
One sent to you to give you grace.

01:05:50.000 --> 01:05:54.000
Read Ephesians chapter 3, verse 4 and verse 7.

01:05:54.000 --> 01:06:08.000
Paul is saying to the Ephesians, listen, I've been given a grace to come to you and to unearth, stir up, extract, reveal to you what God wants you to have.

01:06:08.000 --> 01:06:11.000
So that you may walk in that grace.

01:06:11.000 --> 01:06:15.000
Two things you require for grace.

01:06:15.000 --> 01:06:19.000
One, the grace that comes through knowing the word.

01:06:19.000 --> 01:06:25.000
And two, the grace that comes through one sent into your life to help you increase in it.

01:06:25.000 --> 01:06:27.000
This will be available in this house.

01:06:27.000 --> 01:06:30.000
Not just through me, but through others also.

01:06:30.000 --> 01:06:31.000
It's yours for the taking.

01:06:31.000 --> 01:06:33.000
Again, it's free will.

01:06:33.000 --> 01:06:35.000
It won't be legislated.

01:06:35.000 --> 01:06:40.000
What we will raise in this house over the next one year will be sons that will be battle ready.

01:06:40.000 --> 01:06:42.000
Sons that know how to carry their mantle.

01:06:42.000 --> 01:06:47.000
Sons that begin to understand the weight of the global work that is upon us.

01:06:47.000 --> 01:06:52.000
Sons that begin to operate in the grace that they were supposed to function in.

01:06:52.000 --> 01:06:59.000
Sons that walk in their ability and sons that say, oh shucks, I have found an inheritance.

01:06:59.000 --> 01:07:05.000
You know, Jacob, that Jacob, he was a salesman in Edmonton.

01:07:05.000 --> 01:07:08.000
But his dad was building something here.

01:07:08.000 --> 01:07:13.000
And one day he and his dad decided that he would come here and work.

01:07:13.000 --> 01:07:16.000
There's an inheritance waiting for him that was given to him.

01:07:16.000 --> 01:07:17.000
Did he know what it was?

01:07:17.000 --> 01:07:18.000
Not fully.

01:07:18.000 --> 01:07:23.000
But as he began to work, he's beginning to find out the extent of the grace.

01:07:23.000 --> 01:07:24.000
Extent of the inheritance.

01:07:24.000 --> 01:07:27.000
And one day his dad will say, Jacob?

01:07:27.000 --> 01:07:28.000
And I will say yes?

01:07:28.000 --> 01:07:29.000
No, sorry.

01:07:29.000 --> 01:07:30.000
He'll say yes.

01:07:30.000 --> 01:07:34.000
And he'll say, here, this is all for you now to run.

01:07:34.000 --> 01:07:41.000
And then one day, Jacob and Michelle's kids will have the inheritance that was given to him by his dad.

01:07:41.000 --> 01:07:45.000
And now it just keeps multiplying.

01:07:45.000 --> 01:07:48.000
This is what will be available for you in this house.

01:07:48.000 --> 01:07:51.000
And tell others who are not here that this is how it's going to be.

01:07:58.000 --> 01:08:03.000
Foolishness will not be tolerated.

01:08:03.000 --> 01:08:05.000
Foolishness is accusatory.

01:08:05.000 --> 01:08:06.000
It's fault-finding.

01:08:06.000 --> 01:08:07.000
It's divisive.

01:08:07.000 --> 01:08:08.000
It's rebellious.

01:08:08.000 --> 01:08:09.000
It's entitled.

01:08:09.000 --> 01:08:11.000
And it acts familiar.

01:08:11.000 --> 01:08:12.000
Like Cora.

01:08:12.000 --> 01:08:13.000
Like Nibal.

01:08:13.000 --> 01:08:15.000
Like Aaron and Miriam.

01:08:15.000 --> 01:08:20.000
Don't go down that route because it'll poison the well.

01:08:20.000 --> 01:08:26.000
But innocent, honest, inquisitive discussions must be encouraged.

01:08:26.000 --> 01:08:29.000
It's wrong not to have that.

01:08:36.000 --> 01:08:43.000
Guys, here's a prophetic invitation for you.

01:08:43.000 --> 01:08:44.000
Why do I call it prophetic?

01:08:44.000 --> 01:08:46.000
Because I really believe it's for us.

01:08:46.000 --> 01:08:56.000
In Proverbs 25, 2, it says that it is the glory of God to conceal a matter.

01:08:56.000 --> 01:09:00.000
And it's the glory of kings to discover it.

01:09:00.000 --> 01:09:03.000
To search it out.

01:09:03.000 --> 01:09:05.000
It is the glory of God to conceal a matter.

01:09:05.000 --> 01:09:07.000
God conceals things in the open.

01:09:07.000 --> 01:09:10.000
He hides things in the open.

01:09:10.000 --> 01:09:12.000
But he looks to see if Maya will search for it.

01:09:12.000 --> 01:09:14.000
If Shireen will search for it.

01:09:14.000 --> 01:09:15.000
If Chomi will search for it.

01:09:15.000 --> 01:09:16.000
If Karen will search for it.

01:09:16.000 --> 01:09:19.000
And if they search, he gets thrilled.

01:09:19.000 --> 01:09:22.000
Because it's his splendor to conceal it.

01:09:22.000 --> 01:09:25.000
Your splendor to discover it.

01:09:25.000 --> 01:09:29.000
This year, make it a point.

01:09:29.000 --> 01:09:32.000
You know the mandate of this house for 2026.

01:09:32.000 --> 01:09:35.000
We talked about it over the last two weeks.

01:09:35.000 --> 01:09:39.000
An anointed bride in army boots on assignment.

01:09:39.000 --> 01:09:43.000
An anointed bride in army boots on assignment.

01:09:43.000 --> 01:09:44.000
We'll have tasks.

01:09:44.000 --> 01:09:46.000
We will have assignments.

01:09:46.000 --> 01:09:50.000
And when I say we, all of us can have a part in it.

01:09:50.000 --> 01:09:52.000
Or like I said, free will.

01:09:52.000 --> 01:09:54.000
You can step back.

01:09:54.000 --> 01:09:57.000
Strange thing is you will still benefit even if you step back.

01:09:57.000 --> 01:10:00.000
It won't be taken away from you.

01:10:00.000 --> 01:10:03.000
An anointed bride in army boots on assignment.

01:10:03.000 --> 01:10:04.000
Go home.

01:10:04.000 --> 01:10:08.000
Begin to ask God about Isaiah 13, verse 2 to 4.

01:10:08.000 --> 01:10:09.000
We talked about it last week.

01:10:09.000 --> 01:10:12.000
What kind of formation do you want of God for 2026?

01:10:12.000 --> 01:10:14.000
Do you want of God for this army?

01:10:14.000 --> 01:10:15.000
Isaiah 13, verse 2 to 4.

01:10:15.000 --> 01:10:18.000
Go read Isaiah 61, verse 1 to 4.

01:10:18.000 --> 01:10:20.000
The spirit of the Lord is upon me.

01:10:20.000 --> 01:10:22.000
Go read it.

01:10:22.000 --> 01:10:26.000
May the cognitive buffering that's happening in your head right now

01:10:26.000 --> 01:10:28.000
result in something productive when you go home.

01:10:28.000 --> 01:10:29.000
Yeah?

01:10:29.000 --> 01:10:30.000
I can handle this.

01:10:30.000 --> 01:10:36.000
Sometimes I think even God can't.

01:10:36.000 --> 01:10:38.000
So go home and read these scriptures.

01:10:38.000 --> 01:10:41.000
Read Micah, chapter 5, verse 4 to 6.

01:10:41.000 --> 01:10:46.000
These are some of the pillar scriptures of what awaits us in 2026.

01:10:46.000 --> 01:10:47.000
Go read them.

01:10:47.000 --> 01:10:48.000
Study them.

01:10:48.000 --> 01:10:52.000
What was the prophetic invitation that I was talking to you about?

01:10:52.000 --> 01:10:58.000
It's in Joshua 15, verse, I don't remember.

01:10:58.000 --> 01:11:08.000
Joshua 15, verse 19.

01:11:08.000 --> 01:11:10.000
Let's read Joshua 15.

01:11:10.000 --> 01:11:12.000
Let's read Joshua 15, 19.

01:11:12.000 --> 01:11:16.000
What a cool story.

01:11:16.000 --> 01:11:19.000
Joshua 15, verse 19.

01:11:19.000 --> 01:11:22.000
This is what I say you and I should be like.

01:11:22.000 --> 01:11:24.000
I want to be like.

01:11:24.000 --> 01:11:27.000
Joshua 15, verse 19.

01:11:27.000 --> 01:11:30.000
Let's start from verse 17.

01:11:30.000 --> 01:11:34.000
Othniel, son of Cana's, Caleb's brother,

01:11:34.000 --> 01:11:38.000
took the city that Joshua said.

01:11:38.000 --> 01:11:40.000
If you take it, verse 16.

01:11:40.000 --> 01:11:44.000
And Caleb said, I will give my daughter Aksa in marriage to the man

01:11:44.000 --> 01:11:48.000
who attacks and captures Kyriat-Sephir.

01:11:48.000 --> 01:11:52.000
Othniel, son of Cana's, Caleb's brother, took it.

01:11:52.000 --> 01:11:55.000
So Caleb gave his daughter Aksa to him in marriage.

01:11:55.000 --> 01:12:01.000
One day when she came to Othniel, she urged him to ask her father for a field.

01:12:01.000 --> 01:12:06.000
When she got off her donkey, Caleb asked her, what can I do for you?

01:12:06.000 --> 01:12:11.000
She replied, do me a special favor, since you have given me land in the Negev.

01:12:11.000 --> 01:12:14.000
Give me also the springs of water.

01:12:14.000 --> 01:12:18.000
So Caleb gave her the upper and lower springs.

01:12:18.000 --> 01:12:20.000
I love this story.

01:12:20.000 --> 01:12:23.000
She knew what was the right order.

01:12:23.000 --> 01:12:26.000
She knew that it was her husband who should go and ask for land.

01:12:26.000 --> 01:12:30.000
She says, go and ask my dad for some land, even though she's a daughter.

01:12:30.000 --> 01:12:32.000
She follows order.

01:12:33.000 --> 01:12:36.000
And she goes up and he says, give me this land.

01:12:36.000 --> 01:12:38.000
And he gets land.

01:12:38.000 --> 01:12:41.000
And she looks at the land and she realizes, gosh, this is desert land.

01:12:41.000 --> 01:12:44.000
It's in Negev. It's still desert-like.

01:12:44.000 --> 01:12:47.000
And so she decides, let me go up to my dad.

01:12:47.000 --> 01:12:50.000
And she goes up to her dad and dismounts from her donkey,

01:12:50.000 --> 01:12:53.000
and he looks at her and says, what do you want?

01:12:53.000 --> 01:12:55.000
And without a moment's hesitation, she says,

01:12:55.000 --> 01:12:57.000
give me the upper springs and the lower springs.

01:12:57.000 --> 01:13:00.000
This is what awaits some of you.

01:13:00.000 --> 01:13:02.000
Think and ask.

01:13:02.000 --> 01:13:04.000
Think and ask.

01:13:04.000 --> 01:13:06.000
Ask and access.

01:13:06.000 --> 01:13:08.000
Think and ask. Ask and access.

01:13:08.000 --> 01:13:11.000
Think and ask. Ask and access.

01:13:12.000 --> 01:13:15.000
Because God will give it.

01:13:15.000 --> 01:13:19.000
If you think and ask, you will not ask for what is within your ability to do.

01:13:19.000 --> 01:13:21.000
Think and ask and you will begin.

01:13:21.000 --> 01:13:24.000
When I say think, think with the Holy Spirit and ask.

01:13:24.000 --> 01:13:26.000
Come on, man.

01:13:27.000 --> 01:13:31.000
If I don't think with the Spirit and ask for next year,

01:13:31.000 --> 01:13:36.000
what I will do will still be what I've already learned how to do this year.

01:13:36.000 --> 01:13:39.000
Think and ask. Think with the Spirit and ask.

01:13:39.000 --> 01:13:42.000
And then ask and access.

01:13:52.000 --> 01:13:55.000
It won't be held back from you.

01:13:55.000 --> 01:13:58.000
It won't be held back from you if you're sincere.

01:13:58.000 --> 01:14:00.000
And here's the thing, guys.

01:14:00.000 --> 01:14:03.000
Every time someone asks for their inheritance,

01:14:03.000 --> 01:14:07.000
for the grace that is theirs for 2026,

01:14:07.000 --> 01:14:10.000
with inheritance and with asking for grace

01:14:10.000 --> 01:14:13.000
and with bringing what belongs to the Lord,

01:14:13.000 --> 01:14:17.000
let me assure you from Haggai chapter 2

01:14:17.000 --> 01:14:20.000
that the silver and gold will be yours, too.

01:14:21.000 --> 01:14:24.000
You know what God says in Malachi 3.11?

01:14:24.000 --> 01:14:26.000
He has an odd...

01:14:26.000 --> 01:14:28.000
He says...

01:14:28.000 --> 01:14:31.000
He throws out an invitation and asks us to risk something.

01:14:31.000 --> 01:14:34.000
He says, I'm inviting you and I want you to take a risk.

01:14:34.000 --> 01:14:36.000
How does he phrase it?

01:14:36.000 --> 01:14:38.000
Please, that's the actual sense of the word.

01:14:38.000 --> 01:14:41.000
Please test me in this.

01:14:41.000 --> 01:14:44.000
Please test me in this.

01:14:50.000 --> 01:14:53.000
I've got three lines in LN.

01:14:53.000 --> 01:14:57.000
In the year ahead, I say to the leaders here,

01:14:57.000 --> 01:15:01.000
and I'm talking about the guys who lead churches here,

01:15:01.000 --> 01:15:03.000
in the year ahead, I say to the leaders here,

01:15:03.000 --> 01:15:08.000
draw afresh from the new mandate and the mantle

01:15:08.000 --> 01:15:11.000
that I presently carry.

01:15:12.000 --> 01:15:14.000
So let me single you out.

01:15:14.000 --> 01:15:16.000
I say to Sheldon James,

01:15:17.000 --> 01:15:22.000
to Tony Analei, to Don Kez, to Derek Iris, to May...

01:15:24.000 --> 01:15:26.000
Who am I missing?

01:15:26.000 --> 01:15:28.000
Who?

01:15:28.000 --> 01:15:30.000
Jillian.

01:15:30.000 --> 01:15:32.000
Who else?

01:15:33.000 --> 01:15:37.000
I say to you leaders and I say to the ones that help you,

01:15:37.000 --> 01:15:42.000
draw afresh from the mantle and the mandate that I carry.

01:15:42.000 --> 01:15:47.000
Draw afresh from the mantle and the mandate that I carry.

01:15:47.000 --> 01:15:49.000
You will need it for the year ahead.

01:15:49.000 --> 01:15:51.000
You will not be able to serve your churches

01:15:51.000 --> 01:15:54.000
if you don't draw afresh from the mantle

01:15:54.000 --> 01:15:56.000
and the mandate that is on me.

01:15:56.000 --> 01:15:59.000
Because some of what you may carry right now

01:15:59.000 --> 01:16:01.000
is old and is familiar,

01:16:01.000 --> 01:16:04.000
and you need to draw afresh from the mandate

01:16:04.000 --> 01:16:06.000
and the mantle on me,

01:16:06.000 --> 01:16:08.000
because it's completely different

01:16:08.000 --> 01:16:10.000
from what you've experienced in the past.

01:16:12.000 --> 01:16:14.000
I beg you to do it,

01:16:14.000 --> 01:16:17.000
because otherwise you will do this church a disservice.

01:16:25.000 --> 01:16:27.000
Fathers must sacrifice for sons,

01:16:27.000 --> 01:16:30.000
but fathers must also circumcise their sons.

01:16:30.000 --> 01:16:32.000
Fathers must sacrifice their...

01:16:32.000 --> 01:16:37.000
Fathers must sacrifice for their sons.

01:16:37.000 --> 01:16:41.000
Fathers must sacrifice for their sons.

01:16:41.000 --> 01:16:46.000
But fathers must also circumcise their sons.

01:16:46.000 --> 01:16:50.000
If fathers don't, they run the risk of getting killed.

01:16:50.000 --> 01:16:53.000
Exodus 4.24.

01:16:53.000 --> 01:16:58.000
Moses, Zipporah, and his son were walking along.

01:16:58.000 --> 01:17:02.000
He was going to set Israel free from Egypt.

01:17:02.000 --> 01:17:06.000
And it says, God nearly killed him.

01:17:06.000 --> 01:17:08.000
The guy must have been lying on the floor

01:17:08.000 --> 01:17:11.000
wrestling with God, losing his breath.

01:17:11.000 --> 01:17:14.000
And Zipporah had the sense to take a stone

01:17:14.000 --> 01:17:16.000
and circumcise his son,

01:17:16.000 --> 01:17:19.000
saying, You're a husband of blood to me.

01:17:19.000 --> 01:17:22.000
Fathers must sacrifice for their sons,

01:17:22.000 --> 01:17:25.000
but fathers must also circumcise their sons,

01:17:25.000 --> 01:17:29.000
because if fathers don't, they may get killed.

01:17:29.000 --> 01:17:31.000
And this is another commitment I make to you

01:17:31.000 --> 01:17:34.000
that I want to do,

01:17:34.000 --> 01:17:37.000
and that your other leaders want to do.

01:17:37.000 --> 01:17:42.000
Nope.

01:17:42.000 --> 01:17:46.000
That would involve coastal and Vancouver health.

01:17:46.000 --> 01:17:51.000
Last thing I want to say is when I talk about

01:17:51.000 --> 01:17:55.000
draw afresh from the new mandate and the mantle on me.

01:17:55.000 --> 01:17:58.000
Guys, here's a little bit of a story.

01:17:58.000 --> 01:18:01.000
I'm a man of my word.

01:18:01.000 --> 01:18:04.000
I'm a man of my word.

01:18:04.000 --> 01:18:06.000
I put a new mandate and the mantle on me.

01:18:06.000 --> 01:18:08.000
Guys, here's the thing.

01:18:08.000 --> 01:18:10.000
What's a mantle?

01:18:10.000 --> 01:18:13.200
The grace that is rescued in a person

01:18:13.200 --> 01:18:15.000
can be valued for you

01:18:15.000 --> 01:18:17.000
in terms of the mantle.

01:18:17.000 --> 01:18:19.000
So let's say, Dawn is someone

01:18:19.000 --> 01:18:24.000
that God wants to conference for the mantle in my life, too.

01:18:24.000 --> 01:18:27.000
And so a mantle is simply

01:18:27.000 --> 01:18:30.000
the grace being conveyed through a person to somebody else.

01:18:30.000 --> 01:18:32.000
And a mantle is not preaching.

01:18:32.000 --> 01:18:39.000
A mantle is not ministry. You don't get a mantle till you see it. You only get it if you see it.

01:18:39.000 --> 01:18:51.000
Go to the Elijah, Elisha story. What does it say? Elisha says, give me your mantle. Give me twice the grace that you had in your life.

01:18:51.000 --> 01:18:58.000
He's not asking for twice the ministry. He's not asking for twice the miracles, though that happens. He is saying, you have a grace.

01:18:59.000 --> 01:19:08.000
That is so evident, both in the heavens and the earth. I've seen how to the enemy you become the chariots of Israel.

01:19:08.000 --> 01:19:14.000
And to the people of Israel, you become protection. I want twice that grace. And what does Elisha say?

01:19:14.000 --> 01:19:24.000
Elisha says, give me this. And Elijah says, here's how you will get it, if you see it. If you see me being taken away. If you see it, you will get it.

01:19:24.000 --> 01:19:34.000
Mantles are transferred through being able to see. If you don't see, you don't get. And the only way to see it is to walk closely.

01:19:34.000 --> 01:19:45.000
You cannot see it if you don't walk closely. It doesn't matter who it is. Do you want something from Vivek's life?

01:19:45.000 --> 01:19:50.000
Do you want something from Aaron's life? Do you want something from Fuyo's life? You'll have to walk closely.

01:19:50.000 --> 01:19:58.000
If you do not walk closely, you will not see it. If you do not see it, you will not get it. Therefore, draw fresh again.

01:19:58.000 --> 01:20:03.000
The band-aids and the mantles of my life, because the year ahead needs it.

01:20:03.000 --> 01:20:13.000
All righty. Any questions?

01:20:13.000 --> 01:20:25.000
Anything you want to challenge. Anything you think is not scriptural. Don't come in. There are some questions you should come and ask me later.

01:20:25.000 --> 01:20:33.000
Because you want to sit and understand well. But there are some questions you should ask loudly.

01:20:33.000 --> 01:20:47.000
Any questions? Why loudly? Because it's for the benefit of others. Go ahead, James.

01:20:47.000 --> 01:21:07.000
Can you say it louder? Can you respond publicly about the giving? Yeah, you can respond publicly. You want to? Go ahead. But loudly.

01:21:17.000 --> 01:21:27.000
I've never been in a job. But the prayer was for Manila, and she said, you should be the first fruit of that impossible.

01:21:27.000 --> 01:21:40.000
And at my work, they paid me retroactively for the year. And there was also a raise. So I just, from what you're speaking, I just want to say that I want to give half of that retroactive.

01:21:40.000 --> 01:21:55.000
As a way of breaking that stuff that I've squandered. But go ahead. Awesome. Bless you, James. Thank you.

01:21:55.000 --> 01:22:03.000
Anyone else? If you didn't hear that, you can go and ask James again. I should have given him a mic, and I'm sorry I didn't.

01:22:03.000 --> 01:22:20.000
Anyone else who wants to ask any questions? Go ahead. If I like or don't like? Okay.

01:22:20.000 --> 01:22:35.000
If your dad liked giving to you, would it be selfish of him to give to you? No. Enjoy it, man. Yeah. Any other questions?

01:22:35.000 --> 01:22:59.000
Yeah. Why is it that this idea of fathers raising sons and this idea of mantles and grace falling on sons and going forward, why, even though it's so biblical, is it so resisted?

01:22:59.000 --> 01:23:18.000
Some of the obvious reasons are it's also highly abused. Highly abused. In different, you take any continent, you take North America, Africa, Asia, you will find situations where sons were made to slog like crazy and got squat after that.

01:23:18.000 --> 01:23:34.000
And it went to some biological son who spent most of his life drinking and smoking and became a believer just six months ago. And so there's abuse. And it's very sad. It's very sad. It happens again and again and again.

01:23:34.000 --> 01:23:55.000
But here's the thing. How do you throw out a principle of God because it is being abused? It's wrong. So that's one of the main reasons. The second reason is, let's say I do not abuse, but I take advantage of your finances. I take advantage of your service. I take advantage of whatever you do for me.

01:23:55.000 --> 01:24:16.000
But it's for personal, personal increase. It's almost like a pyramid scheme then. And so when one person prospers, you know, you know what is, here's the thing, guys. So I'm going to share this. Here's the thing.

01:24:16.000 --> 01:24:30.000
To Elisha, people brought first fruits. And it was tons of cakes and raisins and wine and all this stuff. Here's what Elisha did. He brought it, he prayed over it, multiplied it, and distributed it to people.

01:24:30.000 --> 01:24:49.000
When first fruits come into my life, I've got to make sure that these first fruits are not for my personal increase in wealth, but that they should be distributed for the advancement of the kingdom. I pray over it, multiply it, so that the 20 bucks he gave now become 60 bucks that distributed.

01:24:49.000 --> 01:25:11.000
Elisha sets us a precedent for how it should be done. So that's the second reason why it is difficult. The third reason is, accusations can damage your confidence. You go down this road, you will be accused.

01:25:11.000 --> 01:25:25.000
And some of those accusations will stick really close and will feel like a stab. Because always remember, guys, only a friend can betray a friend a stranger has nothing to gain.

01:25:25.000 --> 01:25:51.000
When accusations come, if Sean accuses me, I can handle it. This is the first time I'm meeting him. Sean, Sean. I can walk away because he's new. But if Don accuses me, it will sting. Why? Because he and I are made from the same cloth.

01:25:51.000 --> 01:26:12.000
He wears my shirts. And so, so accusations really affect the construction of a house. A family, father, sons, it really breaks your confidence. You almost shy away. Fourth, the reason this is not practice is because it needs courage.

01:26:12.000 --> 01:26:29.000
It needs courage to stand here and say to you that if you don't draw afresh the mantle and the mandate and the grace in my life, that you will not be able to handle the year ahead. It takes courage for me to say that to you because it's so self-promoting when it isn't.

01:26:29.000 --> 01:26:37.000
So people back off. They don't talk about it.

01:26:37.000 --> 01:26:52.000
And finally, people, sorry, just one, one second. One more statement. Finally, churches are not built on the foundation of a family, not like a family, actual families of fathers, mothers, sons and daughters.

01:26:52.000 --> 01:27:10.000
Churches are not built on that. Yet, from the beginning of time, be it the Father and Jesus, be it Father, God and Adam, be it Elisha, Elijah, be it Paul, Timothy, be it any structure of either the church in the wilderness or the church in the New Testament, it was always built on the building block of fathers and sons.

01:27:10.000 --> 01:27:20.000
It's been this way for years. That's why he refers to himself as a god of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Go ahead.

01:27:20.000 --> 01:27:37.000
So I just want to make a comment. I think a lot of the churches today, the whole Father-Son ship thing and then the passing of men, it requires sacrifice.

01:27:37.000 --> 01:28:01.000
And men are not willing to sacrifice. I want what you have, but I'm not willing to sacrifice. The intimacy, the closeness, the duties, the service to receive what you have. And until the church is ready to sacrifice, they will never receive such a thing.

01:28:01.000 --> 01:28:16.000
I'm just assuming that about you because of the fact that you've heard this before and you've seen it practiced. Leonard Ravenhill, one of the fireiest preachers that existed, basically said what she was saying.

01:28:16.000 --> 01:28:30.000
When he was dying, a lot of people came and gathered around him saying, I want your mantle, I want your mantle. And when his son came in, David Ravenhill, he said to his son, David, David, everybody wants my mantle, but nobody wants my sackcloth.

01:28:30.000 --> 01:28:40.000
And so you can't have one or the other. But my god, man, Elisha's then begin to fly far more than Elijah's. Any other questions?

01:29:00.000 --> 01:29:29.000
So the idea of sowing and reaping and giving and receiving will work for anybody. It will work for the Muslim, the Hindu, the Christian, the philanthropist, the atheist.

01:29:29.000 --> 01:29:39.000
It will work for everyone. It's like a universal principle because in Genesis 8 it says, as long as the earth remains, there will be sowing and there will be reaping. There will be sunrise and there will be sunset.

01:29:39.000 --> 01:29:50.000
So it's a universal principle like gravity that applies to everybody. When that becomes a reason for giving, it is not covenantal enough. It is a principle, yes.

01:29:50.000 --> 01:30:05.000
But the covenant principle for Christians is we give because everything was created to give. God so loved the world that he gave. And so the prosperity gospel sometimes hones in on the giving and the receiving.

01:30:05.000 --> 01:30:21.000
But just because that's been perverted doesn't mean that it won't happen. But your reason for giving should be, can I get to a place where my giving is so sacrificial that I can't help that it comes back, but I just want my giving to be sacrificial.

01:30:21.000 --> 01:30:31.000
This God is an odd God. On one he says free will, then he says sacrificial. And both can exist together.

01:30:31.000 --> 01:30:36.000
Alrighty, let's pray.

01:30:36.000 --> 01:30:46.000
Jesus.

01:30:46.000 --> 01:30:55.000
Spirit of God, would you please take the things we've discussed today.

01:30:55.000 --> 01:31:01.000
Would you help us practice it immediately.

01:31:01.000 --> 01:31:07.000
Practice it immediately. It's not a New Year resolution.

01:31:07.000 --> 01:31:13.000
May we be able to practice it immediately. Jesus, I need to practice this.

01:31:13.000 --> 01:31:16.000
I need to prove this.

01:31:16.000 --> 01:31:23.000
We need to prove this.

01:31:23.000 --> 01:31:38.000
There are many things that are said today, but can you take the things that I, that I need to work and wrestle with and each one needs to work and wrestle with and could you change this.

01:31:38.000 --> 01:31:49.000
If the weapon of giving is not used by us, we will be cut down by mammon, which is a devouring spirit, it's demonic.

01:31:49.000 --> 01:31:54.000
We've been given this word under this master at different times in our lives for long.

01:31:54.000 --> 01:31:59.000
We want to put an end to it today.

01:31:59.000 --> 01:32:04.000
Jesus, I just ask that no heart be left neutral today.

01:32:04.000 --> 01:32:11.000
There should either be a denial or a recognition or an acceptance, but not neutrality, Lord.

01:32:11.000 --> 01:32:18.000
So I ask Spirit of God that not a single person in this room right now remain neutral about this or postpone it.

01:32:18.000 --> 01:32:27.000
Lord, we sometimes have learned the art of neutrality by postponing wrestling with the word and with you, Spirit of God.

01:32:27.000 --> 01:32:37.000
I pray, O God, that that not be a luxury afforded to this church and to the people sitting here right now.

01:32:37.000 --> 01:32:39.000
So that was one part of it, Father.

01:32:39.000 --> 01:32:47.000
Then the second part was how this church will go about the year ahead.

01:32:47.000 --> 01:32:54.000
Please help us, Father, in the year ahead and I read out a whole lot of statements.

01:32:54.000 --> 01:32:56.000
Please bring them to life.

01:32:56.000 --> 01:33:02.000
We don't have the power to accomplish it, but this I know that the zeal of the Lord will accomplish it.

01:33:02.000 --> 01:33:07.000
So we stand up to be cloaked with zeal.

01:33:07.000 --> 01:33:10.000
We stand up to be cloaked with zeal.

01:33:10.000 --> 01:33:14.000
We stand up to be cloaked with zeal.

01:33:14.000 --> 01:33:20.000
Jesus, I pray that this church, even this evening, be cloaked with zeal.

01:33:20.000 --> 01:33:24.000
Father, I'm going to have the mic here and ask a couple of people to come up and pray.

01:33:24.000 --> 01:33:28.000
Would you cloak us with zeal? Cloak us with zeal.

01:33:28.000 --> 01:33:33.000
Come up, pray. Cloak us with zeal. Cloak us with zeal.

01:33:33.000 --> 01:33:39.000
Zeal for your mandate, your mission, your grace, your mantle. Cloak us with zeal, O God.

01:33:39.000 --> 01:33:44.000
Father, we cry out to you, O Lord. We cry out to you.

01:33:44.000 --> 01:33:51.000
We cry out to you. Let no one go from here without being clothed with zeal.

01:33:51.000 --> 01:33:54.000
Father, the zeal that will burn us, O God.

01:33:54.000 --> 01:33:55.000
Thank you, Father.

01:33:55.000 --> 01:33:58.000
Burn the draughts that's not supposed to be in us.

01:33:58.000 --> 01:34:04.000
O God, I pray that you would give us a vision for this 2026.

01:34:04.000 --> 01:34:08.000
You're calling us to a new beginning, O God.

01:34:08.000 --> 01:34:10.000
Let us not miss that, Father.

01:34:10.000 --> 01:34:15.000
I pray that every single one who's here, who's here, Father,

01:34:15.000 --> 01:34:20.000
that we'll open our hearts and say, yes. Yes, God. Yes.

01:34:20.000 --> 01:34:24.000
We say yes to you, Jesus. We say yes to you, Jesus.

01:34:24.000 --> 01:34:26.000
Father, come. Come, Lord. Come.

01:34:26.000 --> 01:34:29.000
Father, in the name of Jesus.

01:34:29.000 --> 01:34:31.000
I pray for this entire Church, Father.

01:34:31.000 --> 01:34:33.000
In the name of Jesus, O God. Thank you.

01:34:33.000 --> 01:34:34.000
Hallelujah.

01:34:34.000 --> 01:34:35.000
Thank you.

01:34:35.000 --> 01:34:36.000
Go up, Evan.

01:34:36.000 --> 01:34:37.000
Thank you, Father.

01:34:37.000 --> 01:34:39.000
Shikra prashto.

01:34:39.000 --> 01:34:42.000
Father, the time has come.

01:34:42.000 --> 01:34:46.000
You have been stirring our hearts for a long time. You've been building us for a long time.

01:34:46.000 --> 01:34:50.000
This message is perfect time, Abba.

01:34:50.000 --> 01:34:52.000
We are waiting. You are waiting.

01:34:52.000 --> 01:34:57.000
Father, pray for this whole Church, every one of us, that our hearts would be ready, our hearts would be strengthened.

01:34:57.000 --> 01:35:01.000
You'd strengthen our spirits. You'd strengthen our bodies. You'd strengthen our minds.

01:35:01.000 --> 01:35:07.000
That we would be able to break off the old, things that have stuck to us for years with breakoff.

01:35:07.000 --> 01:35:12.000
That we'd be able to shake it off and step into new wineskin.

01:35:12.000 --> 01:35:16.000
That this year would be a year of many graces, of many favours,

01:35:16.000 --> 01:35:21.000
of stepping into things that we have been praying for, asking for, for years.

01:35:21.000 --> 01:35:25.000
Father, pray that you would cloak each and every one of us.

01:35:25.000 --> 01:35:26.000
Thank you, Abba.

01:35:26.000 --> 01:35:28.000
Something that we didn't even know that we could do.

01:35:28.000 --> 01:35:32.000
Things that we didn't know we could step into that we've been scared to.

01:35:32.000 --> 01:35:35.000
Father, pray that we have the courage to do it.

01:35:35.000 --> 01:35:36.000
In Jesus' name.

01:35:36.000 --> 01:35:38.000
Hallelujah.

01:35:41.000 --> 01:35:44.000
Abba, give us zeal to build the house of the Lord.

01:35:44.000 --> 01:35:46.000
Give us zeal to build the walls.

01:35:46.000 --> 01:35:51.000
Give us zeal to build what you are asking us to build in 2026.

01:35:51.000 --> 01:35:55.000
Would you give us a passion and a desire?

01:35:55.000 --> 01:35:57.000
I ask for a hunger.

01:35:57.000 --> 01:36:01.000
Today, would you make us hungry and thirsty?

01:36:01.000 --> 01:36:05.000
I ask for a hunger and a thirst that we've never known before.

01:36:05.000 --> 01:36:07.000
Would you whet our appetites?

01:36:07.000 --> 01:36:09.000
I ask it for me and I ask it for this house.

01:36:09.000 --> 01:36:12.000
Can you make us hungrier than we've ever been before?

01:36:12.000 --> 01:36:16.000
Can you make us so thirsty that we lap the water like dogs?

01:36:16.000 --> 01:36:18.000
Can you make that thirst come on us now?

01:36:18.000 --> 01:36:25.000
In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray that nobody leaves without a greater hunger and thirst than we've known today.

01:36:25.000 --> 01:36:27.000
In the name of Jesus. Amen.

01:36:27.000 --> 01:36:29.000
Hallelujah.

01:36:29.000 --> 01:36:31.000
Hallelujah.

01:36:32.000 --> 01:36:37.000
Abba, give us what Christ has for his bride.

01:36:37.000 --> 01:36:38.000
Yeah.

01:36:38.000 --> 01:36:46.000
Abba, wherever we are lacking, wherever we have not understood what it means,

01:36:46.000 --> 01:36:51.000
Father, wherever we need more of you, more of your grace,

01:36:51.000 --> 01:36:55.000
Abba, wherever we think we are sufficient, but we are actually sufficient.

01:36:55.000 --> 01:36:57.000
Yeah, we break sufficiency, O God.

01:36:57.000 --> 01:36:58.000
We break sufficiency.

01:36:58.000 --> 01:37:01.000
We break sufficiency and self-preservation.

01:37:01.000 --> 01:37:03.000
We break it in the name of Jesus.

01:37:03.000 --> 01:37:04.000
It is not enough.

01:37:04.000 --> 01:37:08.000
When a man stops hungering, he becomes stagnant.

01:37:11.000 --> 01:37:15.000
So, Father, we come and we say, Abba, we are fully reliant.

01:37:15.000 --> 01:37:21.000
Give us a seal with which Jesus walked on the spot, with a passion to build his church,

01:37:21.000 --> 01:37:23.000
with a passion to build his church.

01:37:23.000 --> 01:37:27.000
Abba, we haven't even scratched the surface, but give us more of it.

01:37:27.000 --> 01:37:28.000
Yeah.

01:37:28.000 --> 01:37:31.000
A new coat, a new robe, Father, of many colors.

01:37:31.000 --> 01:37:32.000
We ask for it.

01:37:32.000 --> 01:37:34.000
We ask something new from you, Abba.

01:37:34.000 --> 01:37:35.000
What will we have?

01:37:35.000 --> 01:37:37.000
What will we achieve?

01:37:37.000 --> 01:37:39.000
What do we have as crowned Father?

01:37:39.000 --> 01:37:42.000
We lay it down and we say, Abba, now give us something new.

01:37:42.000 --> 01:37:44.000
Give us something fresh.

01:37:44.000 --> 01:37:45.000
Give us a new wind, Abba.

01:37:45.000 --> 01:37:49.000
Give us something that is crazy and that we have not imagined, Abba.

01:37:49.000 --> 01:37:51.000
Give us something new.

01:37:51.000 --> 01:37:57.000
We say to this Father with the same seal that Jesus carried, Abba, give us that.

01:37:57.000 --> 01:38:00.000
So we can walk a different walk, talk a different talk.

01:38:00.000 --> 01:38:07.000
We can raise good sons and daughters, Abba, who will stay the course, Abba, who will raise many other sons and daughters.

01:38:07.000 --> 01:38:13.000
Even when Jacob passes, Abba, even when I pass, Abba, I pray this mantle continues.

01:38:13.000 --> 01:38:14.000
Hallelujah.

01:38:14.000 --> 01:38:15.000
This is what we need, Abba.

01:38:15.000 --> 01:38:27.000
Give us something that stays forever, like a tower that is built forever, where it is a refuge house, Father, where people can come in year after year, generations after generations, Father.

01:38:27.000 --> 01:38:29.000
This is what we are asking for, Abba.

01:38:29.000 --> 01:38:31.000
So take off what we don't need.

01:38:31.000 --> 01:38:35.000
Father, cut off things that are weighing us down.

01:38:35.000 --> 01:38:38.000
But give us new things, Abba.

01:38:38.000 --> 01:38:40.000
Your precious name, I pray, Abba.

01:38:40.000 --> 01:38:41.000
Amen.

01:38:45.000 --> 01:38:58.000
Abba, Father, God of generations, I pray that you make this house a house of fathers and sons, Father, that you fortify this in us, that it becomes a part of our DNA, that you strengthen our leaders for this.

01:38:58.000 --> 01:39:14.000
First, we strengthen Jacob, that you return to him as courage, full courage, full zeal, Father, to be the Father that you've meant him to be, that you fathered him well so that he could father the next generation, that you father all the leaders so that they could father the next of the sons.

01:39:14.000 --> 01:39:26.000
And I pray for all the people here who are sons, who will come willingly, Father, who will come with open hearts, Father, the hearts that have been plowed so that they can receive their inheritance, not only for themselves, but for the world that awaits us, Father.

01:39:26.000 --> 01:39:40.000
So we pray we fortify this in the name of Jesus, from the top to the bottom, from the oldest, the more mature to the youngest, to the growing budding plants, trees that will grow and bear much, much fruit in your name, Jesus.

01:39:40.000 --> 01:39:42.000
We pray this in your name.

01:39:42.000 --> 01:39:43.000
Amen.

01:39:43.000 --> 01:39:45.000
Amen. Praise God.

01:39:48.000 --> 01:39:50.000
Father, will you cloak us like Elisha?

01:39:51.000 --> 01:39:58.000
Cloak us like Elisha, who had the ability to see what was in Elijah.

01:39:58.000 --> 01:40:15.000
May each one here begin to cloak themselves with a desire and a hunger that stirred up by you to see the mantle that you have placed in this house, to see the mantle that you placed in the leaders above them.

01:40:15.000 --> 01:40:20.000
That as they see, they will say, I want to sell all that I have.

01:40:20.000 --> 01:40:23.000
As they see, they will leave everything behind.

01:40:23.000 --> 01:40:27.000
That when people come to them and say, oh, you know, this is going to happen, you should leave.

01:40:27.000 --> 01:40:29.000
They'll say, no, I'm going to stay.

01:40:29.000 --> 01:40:30.000
Yeah.

01:40:30.000 --> 01:40:35.000
Because there's a requirement that you're placing on those here to stick close.

01:40:35.000 --> 01:40:36.000
Yeah.

01:40:36.000 --> 01:40:44.000
Because it's only when each one here chooses to stick close that they will be able to see and walk in the mantle that you desire to give them.

01:40:44.000 --> 01:40:45.000
Thank you.

01:40:45.000 --> 01:40:50.000
So I ask for us, Father, that you give us eyes to see.

01:40:50.000 --> 01:40:57.000
Give us eyes to see and then the obedience to burn our oxen, to sell it.

01:40:57.000 --> 01:40:59.000
We're not selling it for our own gain.

01:40:59.000 --> 01:41:03.000
He said that Elisha sold it and he invited everyone to come and partake.

01:41:03.000 --> 01:41:06.000
But then he left how he was living.

01:41:06.000 --> 01:41:08.000
He left how he was walking.

01:41:08.000 --> 01:41:11.000
And he went and began to walk with Elisha.

01:41:11.000 --> 01:41:12.000
Yeah.

01:41:12.000 --> 01:41:15.000
I ask for those within this house, Father.

01:41:15.000 --> 01:41:20.000
I ask for us as leaders that you give us the ability to draw close.

01:41:20.000 --> 01:41:21.000
Yeah.

01:41:21.000 --> 01:41:25.000
And I ask for those within these churches that they desire to draw close.

01:41:25.000 --> 01:41:28.000
I ask that you stir this up within us today, Father.

01:41:28.000 --> 01:41:29.000
Yeah.

01:41:29.000 --> 01:41:31.000
We want eyes to see.

01:41:31.000 --> 01:41:33.000
Thank you, Abba.

01:41:33.000 --> 01:41:36.000
And we want the heart to walk in it, Abba.

01:41:36.000 --> 01:41:37.000
Thank you, Father.

01:41:37.000 --> 01:41:39.000
Amen.

01:41:42.000 --> 01:41:55.000
Father, we come to you and we dare to ask something we have never asked before.

01:41:55.000 --> 01:41:58.000
Father, give us a double portion.

01:41:58.000 --> 01:42:04.000
A double portion of what you have for Jacob and for this house of God.

01:42:04.000 --> 01:42:06.000
We do not back down.

01:42:06.000 --> 01:42:09.000
We do not ask for anything lesser of God.

01:42:09.000 --> 01:42:15.000
If Jesus can cry out everything that the Father has in his mind, so do we.

01:42:15.000 --> 01:42:17.000
We cry out, Father.

01:42:17.000 --> 01:42:22.000
We say that everything that you have given to Jesus, would you give it to us?

01:42:22.000 --> 01:42:26.000
Would you give it to us, Abba?

01:42:26.000 --> 01:42:32.000
May Isaiah 61, Abba, come to pass through us.

01:42:32.000 --> 01:42:33.000
Hallelujah.

01:42:33.000 --> 01:42:36.000
Because the Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is in this house.

01:42:36.000 --> 01:42:41.000
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon Jacob, O God.

01:42:41.000 --> 01:42:48.000
And so, Father, right now, as a church, we come together and we lift up Jacob to you right now.

01:42:48.000 --> 01:42:49.000
This man.

01:42:49.000 --> 01:42:53.000
Father, we recognize him as the set man of this house.

01:42:53.000 --> 01:42:58.000
We recognize that he is a spiritual father of this house, O God.

01:42:58.000 --> 01:43:00.000
We recognize him.

01:43:00.000 --> 01:43:03.000
Father, we honor him and we lift him up to you, Father.

01:43:03.000 --> 01:43:07.000
We do not idolize him, but we honor him, O God.

01:43:07.000 --> 01:43:09.000
We honor him, Father.

01:43:09.000 --> 01:43:11.000
We lift him up to you, Father.

01:43:11.000 --> 01:43:17.000
And may the grace that is upon this man now begin to flow in every member of this house,

01:43:17.000 --> 01:43:25.000
every person who sets his foot in this house, O God, may it be for the taking, may it be for the benefit, O God.

01:43:25.000 --> 01:43:28.000
I pray and I lift up Jacob to you right now.

01:43:28.000 --> 01:43:33.000
And I pray that the mantle that he has, the mandate that he has upon him, Father,

01:43:33.000 --> 01:43:39.000
which now increase and make it into a double portion of what he already has from the past, O God.

01:43:39.000 --> 01:43:45.000
Lift him up to you, Father, and Father, we come together as a family more united than ever.

01:43:45.000 --> 01:43:52.000
I uproot any spirit of deception, any spirit of jezabal, anything that has been deceived,

01:43:52.000 --> 01:43:59.000
anything that is half-hearted, any person that is neutral, I banish the spirit of orphanhood in this house.

01:43:59.000 --> 01:44:02.000
Because there's no neutral zone.

01:44:02.000 --> 01:44:09.000
Every person who walks into this house is given the permission to become a son and a daughter of this house.

01:44:09.000 --> 01:44:18.000
So, Father, we welcome everybody who is lost, who is confused, who is unsure.

01:44:18.000 --> 01:44:25.000
We say, come and be part of this family that God is establishing through Jacob and through Acts 29, Father.

01:44:25.000 --> 01:44:31.000
And Father, we are excited for what you have for us in 2026, O God.

01:44:31.000 --> 01:44:34.000
Nothing less, O God, nothing less.

01:44:34.000 --> 01:44:42.000
The mandate that you have for us, Father, that we will be anointed, because the spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon us.

01:44:42.000 --> 01:44:47.000
We are your anointed bride, and we will train, Abba.

01:44:47.000 --> 01:44:57.000
We will go the last distance, O God, that sacrifices will be made, the price will be paid,

01:44:57.000 --> 01:45:04.000
and you will find us faithful, and you will train each one so that there's no feeble among us, O God.

01:45:04.000 --> 01:45:14.000
No one will be feeble among us, O God, and we will take on the assignments that you have for us for 2026.

01:45:14.000 --> 01:45:20.000
Everyone will be on an assignment. No one will be left out, O God.

01:45:20.000 --> 01:45:26.000
Everyone will partake in this, and we will see the hand of God.

01:45:26.000 --> 01:45:33.000
We will see things we have never seen before, because you are with us.

01:45:33.000 --> 01:45:35.000
You are with us, O God.

01:45:35.000 --> 01:45:42.000
So, Father, we thank you for this important day and important evening that you have setting us apart.

01:45:42.000 --> 01:45:45.000
You have been orchestrating for this, O God.

01:45:45.000 --> 01:45:53.000
Sons will be raised. More fathers will rise up, and we bless you.

01:45:53.000 --> 01:45:56.000
In Jesus' name. Amen.

01:45:56.000 --> 01:45:59.000
Receive a prophetic word, Father Church, from the Lord.

01:45:59.000 --> 01:46:04.000
He's saying that I have today reconstituted this house.

01:46:04.000 --> 01:46:09.000
It shall no longer be an orphanage or a widow's home.

01:46:09.000 --> 01:46:15.000
Instead, bring the vessels, create space, and I will keep filling it.

01:46:15.000 --> 01:46:23.000
There shall be no end to it as long as there are vessels to fill, needs to be met, works to be done.

01:46:23.000 --> 01:46:28.000
You shall see a pouring out of my spirit like you have not yet.

01:46:28.000 --> 01:46:32.000
But today, I have reconstituted this house.

01:46:32.000 --> 01:46:36.000
There's a new plumb line that I'm holding to this house.

01:46:36.000 --> 01:46:38.000
A new plumb line.

01:46:38.000 --> 01:46:40.000
So we thank you, Father.

01:46:40.000 --> 01:46:42.000
We will not be foolish.

01:46:42.000 --> 01:46:44.000
We will not be like Cora.

01:46:44.000 --> 01:46:46.000
We will not be like Aaron and Miriam.

01:46:46.000 --> 01:46:51.000
We will not be like Ananias and Sapphira.

01:46:51.000 --> 01:46:53.000
We won't.

01:46:53.000 --> 01:46:55.000
We'll walk this the way you want us to.

01:46:55.000 --> 01:46:57.000
In Jesus' name.

01:47:06.000 --> 01:47:08.000
Amen.
