00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:19.000
This is the fourth part of the series, Clean My Hands for a Walk.

00:00:19.000 --> 00:00:26.000
And just another quick announcement. 24th evening, 8 p.m., we meet here at the gym.

00:00:26.000 --> 00:00:37.000
24th evening, 8 p.m. at the gym, because they have a service in here, and it might take a little longer, so we will be having the Christmas service in the gym, just down there.

00:00:37.000 --> 00:00:48.000
It's much larger than this, I think. So that's 24th evening, 8 p.m.

00:00:48.000 --> 00:00:54.000
Okay, you have to enter through the back door by the parking and not through these doors, because there will be people here.

00:00:54.000 --> 00:00:57.000
So we'll send an email, but just so you know.

00:00:57.000 --> 00:01:00.000
Okay, Clean My Hands for a Walk, Part 4.

00:01:00.000 --> 00:01:22.000
Guys, so if there was a theme that we can go with for 2026, it would be anointed bride in army boots on assignment.

00:01:22.000 --> 00:01:32.000
That sounds like a mouthful. I couldn't come up with something topper, shorter, more oomph, but that's basically the idea.

00:01:32.000 --> 00:01:38.000
So this is the fourth part of the series we've been doing, and this kind of sets us up for 2026, right?

00:01:38.000 --> 00:01:44.000
Because every year for the last 20 years, by the way, next year will be our 20th year, yeah?

00:01:44.000 --> 00:01:48.000
So around the first or second week of Feb, we'll have a 20th year thingy.

00:01:48.000 --> 00:01:55.000
I don't know what it looks like, so I can't tell you much, but over the last 20 years, every year towards the end of the year,

00:01:55.000 --> 00:02:02.000
we set ourselves up for the next year based on what we sense God is saying about the year ahead.

00:02:02.000 --> 00:02:08.000
And so how do we look at 2026 as an entire church, and therefore it applies to each individual too?

00:02:08.000 --> 00:02:17.000
So we have two, anointed bride, as in yes, we are the bride, but anointed for certain tasks or assignments, in army boots.

00:02:17.000 --> 00:02:22.000
Anointed bride in army boots on assignment.

00:02:22.000 --> 00:02:29.000
You know, a friend in LA, hey, come up. I forgot you had gone for a surgery on Tuesday.

00:02:29.000 --> 00:02:35.000
Wow. Driving around, eh?

00:02:35.000 --> 00:02:41.000
I hope you have a license for that thing. Guys, stay out of his way, yeah?

00:02:41.000 --> 00:02:48.000
Yeah, so anointed bride in army boots.

00:02:48.000 --> 00:02:55.000
I have a friend in LA called Max, whose wife, when she got married, she actually wore army boots.

00:02:55.000 --> 00:03:02.000
Just to fulfill a prophetic word that was spoken over her, when she got married, she got married with army boots on.

00:03:02.000 --> 00:03:08.000
There's something else. But anyways, 2026, anointed bride in army boots on assignment.

00:03:08.000 --> 00:03:15.000
And so we'll take each of those bits and break them down and see how far we can get today.

00:03:15.000 --> 00:03:18.000
And thanks, Tuni, in advance for dinner.

00:03:18.000 --> 00:03:25.000
For those who don't know, the wager was if I finished eating before 6.10, Tuni will take me out for dinner.

00:03:25.000 --> 00:03:32.000
Today that's going to happen.

00:03:32.000 --> 00:03:39.000
So we start with Isaiah 10, verse 27.

00:03:39.000 --> 00:03:44.000
And here's what it says, if you went to the New King James or the King James, and I'm not insisting you go with any version,

00:03:44.000 --> 00:03:50.000
but here's what it says in the New King James. It says, the anointing will break the yoke.

00:03:50.000 --> 00:04:01.000
The anointing will break the yoke, as in God's anointing has the ability to fatten your neck to an extent where the yoke does not fit.

00:04:01.000 --> 00:04:11.000
That's what it actually means. That's why in the NIV, the ESV, the message, it says you will grow so strong that it will be impossible for the yoke to sit on your neck.

00:04:11.000 --> 00:04:14.000
That's what it says.

00:04:14.000 --> 00:04:24.000
And so one of the things we begin to look forward to in 2026 is that the presence of God's Spirit in very specific ways will do a few things for us.

00:04:24.000 --> 00:04:36.000
One, it'll break the burden of our shoulders first, as in the yokes that we have struggled under,

00:04:36.000 --> 00:04:46.000
be they financial, be they relational, be they emotional, be they demonic, be they things that we have been unable to get out from under.

00:04:46.000 --> 00:05:00.000
He'll break the burden off our shoulders first and then help us break them off others.

00:05:00.000 --> 00:05:05.000
So what do you call a message like this? Let's assume that what I'm saying is actually true.

00:05:05.000 --> 00:05:15.000
Let's assume this is from God. For a second, let's give what's being spoken as, let's give it the benefit of doubt that this is actually from God for us as a church,

00:05:15.000 --> 00:05:27.000
in which case what we're talking about today is how God plans to have the year work out for all of us who want to be part of something that God is doing amongst these people.

00:05:27.000 --> 00:05:33.000
Yeah. So think like that. Yeah.

00:05:33.000 --> 00:05:41.000
Or in other words, I'm just avoiding saying it, or in other words, this is a teaching that could be prophetic or is prophetic.

00:05:41.000 --> 00:05:47.000
I'm just hedging my bets because I don't want to be outright and say it. But why? Why be afraid?

00:05:47.000 --> 00:05:57.000
This teaching is in a sense prophetic, trusting that it is from God, which means then when it's spoken to a people, it applies to individuals too. Yeah.

00:05:57.000 --> 00:06:07.000
Yeah, that's the way to see it. So one, break the burden of our shoulders first and then help us break them off others.

00:06:07.000 --> 00:06:18.000
See, it's true that we have the anointed one in us. Everybody who's a believer has the anointed one living in them. First, John talks about it. The anointed one is in us.

00:06:18.000 --> 00:06:20.000
This is true.

00:06:20.000 --> 00:06:44.000
And he is in us by the spirit. But when we talk about the word anointing, just so we know what we are trying to define, we are saying that anointing is being empowered or clothed, empowered or clothed by the spirit,

00:06:44.000 --> 00:06:53.000
empowered by the spirit or clothed with the spirit to accomplish God's purpose, to accomplish God's purpose,

00:06:53.000 --> 00:07:12.000
in perhaps a task that he has for us or in an area that he wants us to be supernatural or in a gifting that comes from the spirit of God or in the works of God where he chooses according to his discretion.

00:07:12.000 --> 00:07:18.000
Any questions on that? Any questions on that?

00:07:18.000 --> 00:07:32.000
First, John says the anointed one lives in all of us. So, and he lives in his fullness in us. He's not, there's no junior Holy Spirit. There's no female Holy Spirit. He's in us and he's fully in us.

00:07:32.000 --> 00:07:44.000
That is established. When we talk about the anointing, we are talking about, hey, the spirit of God empowering us or clothing us to accomplish God's purpose.

00:07:44.000 --> 00:08:02.000
The spirit of God empowering us or clothing us to accomplish God's purpose in a task or an assignment, in an area that he fancies, in a gifting that the spirit of God suddenly turns on through your life or with regard to the works of God that he chooses.

00:08:02.000 --> 00:08:18.000
Was this true of Jesus? Yes. Acts 1038. And God anointed Jesus with the spirit and with power so that he went about doing good, delivering those that were harassed by the devil.

00:08:18.000 --> 00:08:24.000
Was this true of the church? Yes. Acts chapter one, verse five. Acts chapter one, verse eight.

00:08:24.000 --> 00:08:35.000
Terry, wait till the Holy Spirit clothes you with power so that you can bear witness to what I want done.

00:08:35.000 --> 00:08:46.000
So, is an anointing real for the church or is this some charismatic term we've come up with? No, scripture proves it.

00:08:46.000 --> 00:08:56.000
Acts 1038, Acts 1-8. Any questions?

00:08:56.000 --> 00:09:14.000
Okay. So then, how do we, anointing takes process, eh? Anointing takes process to receive and release.

00:09:14.000 --> 00:09:29.000
And so what's the process? One, through either the prophetic or through the practice or through practice or through passionate pursuit.

00:09:29.000 --> 00:09:38.000
That's how you discover anointing. So let's talk about that first.

00:09:38.000 --> 00:09:44.000
Hey guys, this is God's desire, eh? It's not something that he is grudging to give away. This is what he wants.

00:09:44.000 --> 00:09:56.000
He wants Samson's who walk straight. He wants David's that walk well. He wants this. He wants this of everybody.

00:09:56.000 --> 00:10:04.000
This is one of the things the Spirit of God enjoys. And so how do you, how do you discover an anointing? Three ways to find it.

00:10:04.000 --> 00:10:12.000
Three ways to discover the clothes, clothing or the power of God upon you. Three ways to discover it.

00:10:12.000 --> 00:10:26.000
One, often in the New Testament you'll find that prophetically people were told the task or the area or the gifting or the call upon their lives and the anointing upon their lives for that area.

00:10:26.000 --> 00:10:34.000
It was told them. Paul talked about it in Timothy. In the book of Acts you see it happening. In Acts chapter 13 you see it happening.

00:10:34.000 --> 00:10:40.000
So that is one way. The second way was practicing it. Unless you practice it, you don't find out.

00:10:40.000 --> 00:10:50.000
When you're sent somewhere and there are needs that have to be met, you'll find that suddenly in a situation, in a very unfamiliar situation,

00:10:50.000 --> 00:10:57.000
the Spirit of God begins to flow through you doing what is impossible for people. And the intent is always very simple.

00:10:57.000 --> 00:11:04.000
I have come to restore them. I have come to release them. I have come to make things new. These are the three things the Holy Spirit has been sent for.

00:11:04.000 --> 00:11:12.000
The Holy Spirit has been sent for three things. To release people, to restore people, to make things new.

00:11:12.000 --> 00:11:20.000
And so one of the ways we figure out if the Holy Spirit is active in our lives is by checking these three areas, guys.

00:11:20.000 --> 00:11:32.000
One of the ways to measure the activity of the Spirit of God and measure your cooperation with the Holy Spirit is to ask these three questions.

00:11:32.000 --> 00:11:42.000
Is there release happening in my life? Is there restoration happening in my life? And is there things being made new in my life?

00:11:42.000 --> 00:11:52.000
And if that isn't the case, then you should question stagnancy in your life.

00:11:52.000 --> 00:12:00.000
Because the Spirit of God is God himself. If he's active in my life, these three things must happen.

00:12:00.000 --> 00:12:04.000
That should be the measure of a church, of a person.

00:12:04.000 --> 00:12:08.000
Yeah?

00:12:08.000 --> 00:12:20.000
Okay. So, any questions?

00:12:20.000 --> 00:12:28.000
Yeah. So, prophetically, you can have, I mean, I'll take examples from my life because the only life I know well.

00:12:28.000 --> 00:12:37.000
Yeah? So, I remember the first, shortly after I became a believer, there was this guy called Mike who came from Tulsa.

00:12:37.000 --> 00:12:46.000
And he turns up in church and one day I'm in the service and he calls me out and he looks at me and he says, hey, Jacob, he didn't know my name.

00:12:46.000 --> 00:12:49.000
He called me up, found out my name and then he began to prophesy over me.

00:12:49.000 --> 00:12:54.000
One of the things he said is, Jacob, you have the gift of faith. What does that mean?

00:12:54.000 --> 00:13:02.000
That I have the supernatural ability given by the Spirit to believe very easily for ridiculously impossible things.

00:13:02.000 --> 00:13:08.000
It's not something that I have cultivated. It's a gift. It's a supernatural ability given by the Spirit.

00:13:08.000 --> 00:13:15.000
And at that time, I'd been a believer for about four weeks, didn't know what it meant.

00:13:15.000 --> 00:13:23.000
But when I look back at the last 35 years, I can see how easy at times it has been to believe for the impossible.

00:13:23.000 --> 00:13:28.000
And unfortunately, I can't take credit for it because this guy exposed it way too long ago.

00:13:28.000 --> 00:13:33.000
Or at least I could say I was a man of faith. I can't do that either.

00:13:33.000 --> 00:13:36.000
So, that was a situation where prophetically something was revealed.

00:13:36.000 --> 00:13:46.000
Then when it comes to practice, found out that and the guy didn't prophesy, but I found out that when I'd be put in places, I remember going to Sri Lanka.

00:13:46.000 --> 00:13:51.000
That's where it happened the first time. I went to Sri Lanka and went with this pastor.

00:13:51.000 --> 00:13:55.000
He had too long a line to pray for people. So he told me to start praying for people.

00:13:55.000 --> 00:14:05.000
I start praying for people and I find out that I can begin to tell them what is about to either happen in the future or I can begin to tell them.

00:14:05.000 --> 00:14:10.000
Things about their past that are facts that there's no way I would have known.

00:14:10.000 --> 00:14:17.000
And suddenly you realize that in practice, you are beginning to discover the gift of the word of knowledge and the gift of prophecy.

00:14:17.000 --> 00:14:21.000
And there are people here who can share the same experience. I'm not saying anything special.

00:14:21.000 --> 00:14:29.000
There are at least 30 or 40 people sitting here that can have you listen to the same stories that I'm saying.

00:14:29.000 --> 00:14:31.000
And then there's a passion.

00:14:32.000 --> 00:14:37.000
One of the passions I have is for the Bride of Christ. I love raising up people.

00:14:37.000 --> 00:14:45.000
And with that has come an anointing or an ability given by the Holy Spirit to raise people up well.

00:14:48.000 --> 00:14:54.000
That's just an example. And there are people here I can call on the spot without warning and they can tell me the same thing.

00:14:55.000 --> 00:15:05.000
So the first thing, how you discover your anointing is this ability to either get it through the prophetic through practice or through a passion you have for something.

00:15:05.000 --> 00:15:15.000
It leads to discovery. Second, yieldedness, when you yield, yieldedness creates inflow.

00:15:16.000 --> 00:15:22.000
Creates inflow. Every time you are yielded to the Holy Spirit, it creates inflow.

00:15:22.000 --> 00:15:27.000
And all we have guys to show yieldedness first is our words.

00:15:27.000 --> 00:15:40.000
Our words are important. When you sing a song which says I surrender and you actually mean it, yieldedness is real because God actually takes you at heart value and word value.

00:15:41.000 --> 00:15:48.000
Yieldedness leads to the inflow or creates the inflow of the Spirit or inflow of the power of the Spirit.

00:15:48.000 --> 00:15:57.000
Third, faithfulness, as in once you begin your task, even though you're a nobody, faithfulness creates capacity.

00:15:58.000 --> 00:16:11.000
Creates capacity. When you stick with something and you're faithful and you refuse to back off, when you stick with something that God has asked you to do and you're faithful and you refuse to back off, what's happening?

00:16:11.000 --> 00:16:25.000
Faithfulness creates capacity. As in God says here is a man who I have empowered or here is a woman I have empowered and she has been faithful regardless of whether I put her in charge of two people or 200.

00:16:25.000 --> 00:16:30.000
And therefore I'll increase her capacity. Faithfulness increases capacity.

00:16:32.000 --> 00:16:33.000
Next one.

00:16:33.000 --> 00:16:44.000
Order creates a framework for God to work in. Order creates a framework, meaning God is not a God of confusion.

00:16:44.000 --> 00:16:51.000
God is not a God who's chaotic. God is not a God who just dusts things willy-nilly.

00:16:51.000 --> 00:16:57.000
He has an arrangement. He has order. And anointing thrives under order.

00:16:57.000 --> 00:17:04.000
Guess, want to see a guy who had an anointing but didn't follow order? Samson.

00:17:04.000 --> 00:17:08.000
Samson was a guy who was anointed from birth.

00:17:08.000 --> 00:17:11.000
He died with his eyes gouged out.

00:17:11.000 --> 00:17:17.000
And so order creates a framework for God to do what he wants to do.

00:17:17.000 --> 00:17:24.000
The next one is a man who is anointed from birth.

00:17:24.000 --> 00:17:26.000
He's anointed from birth.

00:17:26.000 --> 00:17:28.000
He's anointed from birth.

00:17:28.000 --> 00:17:30.000
He's anointed from birth.

00:17:30.000 --> 00:17:31.000
He's anointed from birth.

00:17:31.000 --> 00:17:33.000
He's anointed from birth.

00:17:33.000 --> 00:17:35.000
He's anointed from birth.

00:17:35.000 --> 00:17:37.000
He's anointed from birth.

00:17:37.000 --> 00:17:39.000
He's anointed from birth.

00:17:39.000 --> 00:17:45.000
So order creates a framework for God to do what he wants to do.

00:17:45.000 --> 00:17:49.000
The next one is character.

00:17:49.000 --> 00:17:53.000
Character creates usability.

00:17:53.000 --> 00:17:57.000
Character creates usability.

00:17:57.000 --> 00:18:02.000
character creates usability. That's why it says in 2nd Timothy 2.20,

00:18:02.000 --> 00:18:08.000
in a wealthy home are vessels, some of gold and some of clay.

00:18:08.000 --> 00:18:12.000
The good ones are used for guests, the bad ones are kept away.

00:18:12.000 --> 00:18:20.000
And so it doesn't matter how anointed I am, if my character does not reflect Christ, I am not usable.

00:18:21.000 --> 00:18:28.000
People chaff at that, you've got highly gifted people in churches that you sometimes cannot use

00:18:28.000 --> 00:18:32.000
because their nature does not match up with that of Christ.

00:18:35.000 --> 00:18:45.000
And finally, foolishness creates outflow. Foolishness creates outflow.

00:18:45.000 --> 00:18:48.000
You have to be foolish with the things of God.

00:18:48.000 --> 00:18:53.000
Whenever God anoints you, gives you power to act on his behalf,

00:18:53.000 --> 00:18:57.000
he's going to be very illogical and unreasonable in what he asks of you.

00:19:00.000 --> 00:19:03.000
Hold on to your dignity and you die a diplomat.

00:19:06.000 --> 00:19:13.000
Surrender your dignity and you die as someone added to the book of Hebrews 11.

00:19:13.000 --> 00:19:16.000
Hold on to your dignity and you die a diplomat.

00:19:16.000 --> 00:19:19.000
Diplomacy is not a fruit of the spirit.

00:19:22.000 --> 00:19:30.000
It's impossible to practice your anointing sent by God as long as you hold on to your dignity.

00:19:31.000 --> 00:19:34.000
All of us have some level of dignity.

00:19:35.000 --> 00:19:44.000
This is why for David as a king to wear just, all he had basically was his underwear, guys, really,

00:19:44.000 --> 00:19:47.000
if you were to translate it into today's terms.

00:19:47.000 --> 00:19:53.000
And the guy is jumping around, dancing in the streets and his wife despises him.

00:19:56.000 --> 00:19:59.000
But it's that kind of foolishness that got him to become the man he became.

00:20:00.000 --> 00:20:01.000
Any questions?

00:20:01.000 --> 00:20:02.000
Yep.

00:20:05.000 --> 00:20:07.000
Dignity is not a Christian virtue.

00:20:07.000 --> 00:20:11.000
Preserving someone else's dignity is a Christian virtue.

00:20:11.000 --> 00:20:14.000
Losing your dignity is a Christian virtue.

00:20:14.000 --> 00:20:17.000
Holding on to your dignity is not a Christian virtue.

00:20:17.000 --> 00:20:22.000
It's a tradition that sometimes stands in the way of what God wants to do with you.

00:20:31.000 --> 00:20:32.000
Yeah.

00:20:32.000 --> 00:20:39.000
Dignity is anything that I preserve for the sake of how I look in your eyes

00:20:40.000 --> 00:20:46.000
and therefore in the process say no to something that God might be asking me to do.

00:20:46.000 --> 00:20:48.000
It makes me honorable in your eyes.

00:20:50.000 --> 00:20:52.000
Dignity is something that I hold on to.

00:20:52.000 --> 00:20:55.000
Dignity is a form of self-preservation, guys.

00:20:56.000 --> 00:20:58.000
Dignity is something that I hold on to.

00:20:58.000 --> 00:21:00.000
It's a form of self-preservation, guys.

00:21:01.000 --> 00:21:07.000
Dignity is self-preservation where I want to preserve how I appear in your eyes and what you think of me.

00:21:07.000 --> 00:21:10.000
That becomes more important than anything else.

00:21:11.000 --> 00:21:14.000
All of us have it at some degree or the other, eh?

00:21:15.000 --> 00:21:17.000
Some have it more.

00:21:19.000 --> 00:21:22.000
And it just opposes everything God wants to do.

00:21:22.000 --> 00:21:25.000
And sometimes God won't move till you lose it.

00:21:28.000 --> 00:21:31.000
I mean, God won't move through you till you lose it.

00:21:33.000 --> 00:21:38.000
Not because you're not able, but because self-preservation becomes more important.

00:21:42.000 --> 00:21:49.000
And because of these reasons, guys, unfortunately, even though God is the one who anoints,

00:21:50.000 --> 00:21:55.000
even though God is the one who anoints, anointing has measure.

00:21:55.000 --> 00:22:02.000
As in, you'll find that some have this ability to flow pretty much easily while others struggle.

00:22:02.000 --> 00:22:18.000
And even though you might be anointed, you still need to use faith to place a demand on the anointing.

00:22:18.000 --> 00:22:26.000
Or the gift.

00:22:28.000 --> 00:22:30.000
You have to use faith.

00:22:30.000 --> 00:22:32.000
You know, I know that I can teach well, eh?

00:22:32.000 --> 00:22:34.000
I'm not even patting myself on the back.

00:22:34.000 --> 00:22:35.000
I teach well.

00:22:35.000 --> 00:22:36.000
But here's the crazy thing.

00:22:36.000 --> 00:22:43.000
I can ask you to ask me questions, and I'm absolutely sure that I'll be able to answer them from Scripture.

00:22:44.000 --> 00:22:54.000
But every time you ask a question, I'm sufficiently scared, and I place with faith a demand on the word and the ability to teach within me

00:22:54.000 --> 00:23:00.000
so that when you ask a question, I can give you an answer from Scripture that will meet the question.

00:23:02.000 --> 00:23:04.000
And another friend called Roland Tan, some of you know him.

00:23:04.000 --> 00:23:07.000
What you don't know is Roland Tan died about a year ago.

00:23:08.000 --> 00:23:14.000
I just found out a week ago that he died a year and a half ago, which was mind-boggling.

00:23:14.000 --> 00:23:16.000
He just died in his sleep.

00:23:16.000 --> 00:23:29.000
He was this 6'4 London cop who was 87 or 88 when he died, and he came to this church quite often.

00:23:29.000 --> 00:23:32.000
And I'd known him for 35 years or so.

00:23:32.000 --> 00:23:34.000
And he had this ability.

00:23:34.000 --> 00:23:36.000
The guy was gifted at healing.

00:23:36.000 --> 00:23:38.000
He had the gift of healing.

00:23:38.000 --> 00:23:43.000
The number of healings that people in this church have seen is just nuts.

00:23:43.000 --> 00:23:46.000
But it doesn't matter what came before him.

00:23:46.000 --> 00:23:50.000
He would place a demand on the gift in him, and he would see results.

00:23:53.000 --> 00:23:55.000
Anointing doesn't mean something automatic.

00:23:55.000 --> 00:23:57.000
You still need to exert faith.

00:23:57.000 --> 00:23:59.000
In Nuremberg, there was a guy who came up to him.

00:23:59.000 --> 00:24:03.000
I don't know why I'm sharing this story, but perhaps it's important in some way.

00:24:03.000 --> 00:24:08.000
In Nuremberg, a guy came up to him, and he had a withered left hand.

00:24:08.000 --> 00:24:11.000
And he comes up and says, can you pray?

00:24:11.000 --> 00:24:13.000
Because he had seen other people getting healed.

00:24:13.000 --> 00:24:15.000
So he says, can you pray?

00:24:15.000 --> 00:24:24.000
And God prompts Roland to ask the guy a question and says, was there any healing that you could do?

00:24:24.000 --> 00:24:32.000
And the guy blurted out, yes, my brother, I had lent him my watch, which was a family heirloom.

00:24:32.000 --> 00:24:36.000
And he had broken it and treated it callously.

00:24:36.000 --> 00:24:39.000
And it was a precious heirloom that was lost.

00:24:39.000 --> 00:24:42.000
And so Roland said, can you forgive him?

00:24:42.000 --> 00:24:44.000
And the guy said, no, I can't forgive him.

00:24:44.000 --> 00:24:46.000
And so Roland said, well, I can't forgive him.

00:24:46.000 --> 00:24:48.000
And he said, well, I can't forgive him.

00:24:48.000 --> 00:24:50.000
And he said, well, I can't forgive him.

00:24:50.000 --> 00:24:56.000
And so Roland said, well, then I can't pray for you, even though he had the gift of healing.

00:24:56.000 --> 00:25:01.000
And so the guy goes, sits down, and he's doing there, trying to figure out if he should forgive or not.

00:25:01.000 --> 00:25:07.000
And at some point towards the close of the service, he comes up and he says, I've forgiven my brother.

00:25:07.000 --> 00:25:08.000
Can you pray for me?

00:25:08.000 --> 00:25:12.000
And Roland knew that if he prayed for him now, something would happen.

00:25:12.000 --> 00:25:18.000
And before he can even go to pray for him, there's a loud crack and the withered hand shoots out home.

00:25:18.000 --> 00:25:21.000
Joan saw things happen.

00:25:21.000 --> 00:25:22.000
Heidi seen things happen.

00:25:22.000 --> 00:25:23.000
How many here know Roland?

00:25:23.000 --> 00:25:25.000
Sue knows Roland.

00:25:25.000 --> 00:25:34.000
It is crazy how even though there's a gift, it doesn't mean that it happens till he plays a demand of faith on it.

00:25:34.000 --> 00:25:36.000
And so what are we saying?

00:25:36.000 --> 00:25:44.000
We are saying that 2026 is a year where the bride will be anointed along the lines of the marriage.

00:25:44.000 --> 00:25:46.000
And what does Isaiah 61 basically say?

00:25:46.000 --> 00:25:48.000
It says the same thing I said before.

00:25:48.000 --> 00:25:53.000
Release, restore, make things new.

00:25:53.000 --> 00:25:56.000
Open the eyes of the blind.

00:25:56.000 --> 00:25:59.000
Set the captives free.

00:25:59.000 --> 00:26:02.000
Open prison doors.

00:26:02.000 --> 00:26:06.000
Proclaim the gospel to the poor.

00:26:06.000 --> 00:26:09.000
Praise instead of mourning.

00:26:10.000 --> 00:26:13.000
Praise instead of mourning.

00:26:13.000 --> 00:26:16.000
Joy instead of sadness.

00:26:16.000 --> 00:26:21.000
Isaiah 61 so clearly outlines why the Spirit of God is upon me.

00:26:21.000 --> 00:26:29.000
Guys, at this point, either begin to laugh inside and don't show it on the outside so I don't realize what's happening or laugh outside.

00:26:29.000 --> 00:26:36.000
But if this is a message for the year, then let it show in our hearts and on our faces.

00:26:36.000 --> 00:26:37.000
Yeah.

00:26:37.000 --> 00:26:38.000
Yeah.

00:26:38.000 --> 00:26:40.000
A gentle grunt or amin will be enough.

00:26:40.000 --> 00:26:44.000
It's more than encouraging.

00:26:44.000 --> 00:26:50.000
Like I said, I know you guys are buffering, but occasionally it's fun when it shows.

00:26:50.000 --> 00:26:55.000
The other thing anointing does, guys, is it brings out the boldness of a lion.

00:26:55.000 --> 00:26:58.000
Anointing brings out the boldness of a lion.

00:26:58.000 --> 00:27:03.000
Anointing brings out boldness.

00:27:06.000 --> 00:27:07.000
What is boldness?

00:27:07.000 --> 00:27:10.000
It's secure confidence.

00:27:10.000 --> 00:27:13.000
It is secure confidence.

00:27:13.000 --> 00:27:15.000
It's secure confidence.

00:27:15.000 --> 00:27:20.000
And there's no turning back.

00:27:20.000 --> 00:27:22.000
There's no turning back.

00:27:22.000 --> 00:27:25.000
And this is something that God wants to give all of us.

00:27:25.000 --> 00:27:27.000
And so what are we looking at?

00:27:27.000 --> 00:27:28.000
And we've said this before.

00:27:28.000 --> 00:27:31.000
We destroy the bondages.

00:27:31.000 --> 00:27:37.000
We destroy the bondage of the five Ds.

00:27:37.000 --> 00:27:40.000
What are the five Ds?

00:27:40.000 --> 00:27:43.000
You remember?

00:27:43.000 --> 00:27:45.000
Decay.

00:27:45.000 --> 00:27:47.000
Death.

00:27:47.000 --> 00:27:50.000
The demonic.

00:27:50.000 --> 00:27:53.000
Disease.

00:27:53.000 --> 00:27:57.000
What else?

00:27:57.000 --> 00:28:00.000
Damage.

00:28:00.000 --> 00:28:12.000
Just imagine a year where we begin to see these things being, people being released from it, people being restored, starting with us and then going outwards, and people being made new.

00:28:12.000 --> 00:28:14.000
Imagine a year like that.

00:28:14.000 --> 00:28:15.000
But Jacob, I've waited for this.

00:28:15.000 --> 00:28:17.000
I haven't seen it yet.

00:28:17.000 --> 00:28:21.000
Well, then, wait two more weeks.

00:28:21.000 --> 00:28:23.000
Wait two more weeks.

00:28:23.000 --> 00:28:25.000
Start praying into it.

00:28:25.000 --> 00:28:27.000
Seek him every morning.

00:28:27.000 --> 00:28:31.000
Tell him, Father, if this is what you're saying, then these are my expectations.

00:28:31.000 --> 00:28:34.000
That's where I set my eyes on the horizon.

00:28:34.000 --> 00:28:36.000
An anointed bride.

00:28:36.000 --> 00:28:40.000
Can you imagine what it'll do to people when this begins to break loose?

00:28:40.000 --> 00:28:48.000
Even today, we'll start, when we finish the service, we'll have a time of prayer just for people who have sicknesses, eh?

00:28:48.000 --> 00:28:51.000
We act on what we speak, guys.

00:28:51.000 --> 00:28:54.000
So if you have a disease or sickness, don't leave today.

00:28:54.000 --> 00:29:03.000
Have someone lay hands on you and pray so that what we are saying, we act on.

00:29:03.000 --> 00:29:10.000
Any questions?

00:29:10.000 --> 00:29:12.000
I do have the gift of faith, it looks like.

00:29:12.000 --> 00:29:19.000
Even though I don't see anything on your face, I just believe that you're listening and doing things that are happening inside.

00:29:19.000 --> 00:29:22.000
So we await.

00:29:22.000 --> 00:29:25.000
Thank God the guy prophesied it all those years ago.

00:29:25.000 --> 00:29:28.000
So we await the outpouring of the Spirit, eh?

00:29:28.000 --> 00:29:35.000
And I pray, God, that 2026 is a time when we see this more and more and more and more.

00:29:35.000 --> 00:29:39.000
You know, there's a young kid, his name's Nathan.

00:29:39.000 --> 00:29:42.000
He's in Charlotte, North Carolina.

00:29:42.000 --> 00:29:49.000
And I know his folks and I knew them from New York.

00:29:49.000 --> 00:29:54.000
And so he's been attacked spiritually.

00:29:54.000 --> 00:29:57.000
And medically, there's nothing wrong with him, but spiritually he's being attacked.

00:29:57.000 --> 00:30:01.000
And one of the things I desire is to see him in the world.

00:30:01.000 --> 00:30:04.000
And I know that there's nothing wrong with him, but spiritually he's being attacked.

00:30:04.000 --> 00:30:10.000
And one of the things I desire is between now and the 31st, go to Charlotte, visit him, pray for him.

00:30:10.000 --> 00:30:15.000
And when I do, I'll just send an email to the church saying, guys, could you pray?

00:30:15.000 --> 00:30:19.000
When I send that email, guys, pray like crazy.

00:30:19.000 --> 00:30:22.000
Take time off whatever you're doing.

00:30:22.000 --> 00:30:25.000
Pull your face away from the turkey and begin to pray.

00:30:25.000 --> 00:30:31.000
And I pray that Nathan will be free before this year ends.

00:30:31.000 --> 00:30:40.000
Because the thing about evil is it has no respect for innocence or ignorance.

00:30:40.000 --> 00:30:49.000
He's an eight or nine year old boy.

00:30:50.000 --> 00:30:54.000
Anointed bride, we'll skip the bride for now.

00:30:54.000 --> 00:30:58.000
We'll go to anointed bride in army boots.

00:30:58.000 --> 00:31:02.000
Let's talk about the word army. Go to Isaiah chapter 13.

00:31:02.000 --> 00:31:05.000
Isaiah 13.

00:31:05.000 --> 00:31:07.000
Let's read it from the message.

00:31:07.000 --> 00:31:09.000
Isaiah 13.

00:31:09.000 --> 00:31:14.000
Isaiah 13.

00:31:14.000 --> 00:31:18.000
Isaiah.

00:31:18.000 --> 00:31:21.000
I didn't hear you say yes, Isaiah.

00:31:21.000 --> 00:31:26.000
Okay, good.

00:31:26.000 --> 00:31:30.000
As you get older, your jokes become like your granddad, Isaiah.

00:31:30.000 --> 00:31:34.000
Isaiah 13.

00:31:34.000 --> 00:31:36.000
Isaiah 13, verse two to four.

00:31:36.000 --> 00:31:38.000
Here's what it says.

00:31:38.000 --> 00:31:41.000
Run up a flag on an open hill.

00:31:41.000 --> 00:31:42.000
Yell loud.

00:31:42.000 --> 00:31:44.000
Get their attention.

00:31:44.000 --> 00:31:46.000
Wave them into formation.

00:31:46.000 --> 00:31:49.000
Direct them to the nerve center of power.

00:31:49.000 --> 00:31:51.000
I have taken charge of my special forces.

00:31:51.000 --> 00:31:53.000
Called up my crack troops.

00:31:53.000 --> 00:31:58.000
They're bursting with pride and passion to carry out my angry judgment.

00:31:58.000 --> 00:32:02.000
Thunder rolls off the mountains like a mob huge and noisy.

00:32:02.000 --> 00:32:04.000
Thunder of kingdoms in an uproar.

00:32:04.000 --> 00:32:06.000
Nations assembling for war.

00:32:06.000 --> 00:32:10.000
God of the angel armies is calling his army into battle formation.

00:32:10.000 --> 00:32:13.000
So that's the scripture that I want to look up.

00:32:13.000 --> 00:32:17.000
It's Isaiah 13, verse two to four.

00:32:17.000 --> 00:32:19.000
I was reading from the message.

00:32:19.000 --> 00:32:22.000
So the first bit says run up a flag.

00:32:22.000 --> 00:32:28.000
Run up a flag on an open hill.

00:32:28.000 --> 00:32:31.000
On an open hill.

00:32:31.000 --> 00:32:34.000
Yell loud.

00:32:34.000 --> 00:32:41.000
Get their attention.

00:32:41.000 --> 00:32:42.000
Yeah.

00:32:42.000 --> 00:32:50.000
The idea is, guys, that let's assume again that this is something that God wants us to become.

00:32:50.000 --> 00:32:56.000
Then he's saying, listen, I want it to be so obvious to you.

00:32:56.000 --> 00:33:02.000
I want it to be so obvious to you.

00:33:02.000 --> 00:33:08.000
That your minds shift.

00:33:08.000 --> 00:33:13.000
Together.

00:33:13.000 --> 00:33:26.000
So I can form you into a crack troop.

00:33:26.000 --> 00:33:28.000
And so here's what he's saying.

00:33:28.000 --> 00:33:29.000
Hey Jane.

00:33:29.000 --> 00:33:30.000
Hey Diana.

00:33:30.000 --> 00:33:31.000
Hey Nellie.

00:33:31.000 --> 00:33:32.000
Hey Tooney.

00:33:32.000 --> 00:33:33.000
Hey Nitin.

00:33:33.000 --> 00:33:34.000
Hey Sade.

00:33:34.000 --> 00:33:35.000
Hey Jod.

00:33:35.000 --> 00:33:36.000
Hey Sue.

00:33:36.000 --> 00:33:37.000
Hey Kamal.

00:33:37.000 --> 00:33:38.000
Hey Emmanuel.

00:33:38.000 --> 00:33:39.000
Hey Vignesh.

00:33:39.000 --> 00:33:40.000
Joan.

00:33:40.000 --> 00:33:41.000
Jacob.

00:33:41.000 --> 00:33:42.000
May.

00:33:42.000 --> 00:33:43.000
Fuyo.

00:33:43.000 --> 00:33:44.000
Aaron.

00:33:44.000 --> 00:33:45.000
Nick.

00:33:45.000 --> 00:33:46.000
Emily K.

00:33:46.000 --> 00:33:47.000
George.

00:33:47.000 --> 00:33:48.000
Vidisha.

00:33:48.000 --> 00:33:49.000
Everyone.

00:33:49.000 --> 00:33:54.000
Can I set this up so strong on a mountain?

00:33:54.000 --> 00:33:59.000
He says I'll set up a flag on a barren hill so that nobody misses it.

00:33:59.000 --> 00:34:09.000
So that nobody can claim that they were blind, deaf, or dull to what I want to do.

00:34:09.000 --> 00:34:13.000
He's not setting it up on a hill that has trees.

00:34:13.000 --> 00:34:16.000
He's not setting it up on a hill that has a fortress.

00:34:16.000 --> 00:34:24.000
He's setting it up on a barren hill so that for miles you can see his intent.

00:34:24.000 --> 00:34:25.000
What does he want to do?

00:34:25.000 --> 00:34:34.000
He doesn't want to leave anybody with an excuse for not having heard or seen.

00:34:34.000 --> 00:34:36.000
This is a great thing about God.

00:34:36.000 --> 00:34:43.000
Obedience is something he demands only after making it sufficiently clear so that one can't

00:34:43.000 --> 00:34:47.000
claim ignorance.

00:34:47.000 --> 00:34:57.000
One can only choose after partial obedience, full obedience, or rejection.

00:34:57.000 --> 00:34:59.000
So that's the first thing he does.

00:34:59.000 --> 00:35:03.000
I want to make it so obvious that this is my intent.

00:35:03.000 --> 00:35:12.000
Can I have you shift your minds together so I can form you into a crack troop?

00:35:12.000 --> 00:35:14.000
Pay attention.

00:35:14.000 --> 00:35:17.000
And then he goes on to say, wave them into formation.

00:35:17.000 --> 00:35:18.000
I love it.

00:35:18.000 --> 00:35:20.000
Wave them into formation.

00:35:20.000 --> 00:35:29.000
He waves them into formation.

00:35:29.000 --> 00:35:37.000
And he directs them to the nerve center of power.

00:35:37.000 --> 00:35:39.000
Crazy, eh?

00:35:39.000 --> 00:35:44.000
Directs them to the nerve center of power.

00:35:44.000 --> 00:35:48.000
The idea is, listen, I'll teach you how to do this together.

00:35:48.000 --> 00:35:53.000
I'm not interested in an occasional soldier who breaks out and is a superstar.

00:35:53.000 --> 00:35:58.000
I want to teach you how to work in formation, which then means that there is an order.

00:35:58.000 --> 00:36:01.000
That God arranges and that man supervises.

00:36:01.000 --> 00:36:12.000
And if either one chaffs, then you'll have to be a mercenary on hire because you can't be part of this.

00:36:12.000 --> 00:36:15.000
Any questions on that one?

00:36:15.000 --> 00:36:21.000
You know, if you look at Numbers Chapter 2, Verse 2, you look at Numbers 10, you'll find that God brought

00:36:21.000 --> 00:36:27.000
Israel into the desert, and then he would say to them, listen, I want you to camp by your own two feet.

00:36:27.000 --> 00:36:33.000
You camp by your standard, your flag, and your family and your clan.

00:36:33.000 --> 00:36:36.000
And then once you do, I'll tell you when to go out.

00:36:36.000 --> 00:36:38.000
Numbers 2 talks about that.

00:36:38.000 --> 00:36:46.000
The arrangement in the desert with the tent of the meeting in the center and the camps distributed,

00:36:46.000 --> 00:36:53.000
each one had to camp by his standard, camp by his family, camp under his flag.

00:36:53.000 --> 00:36:56.000
And then when they would go out for battle, it would be the same again.

00:36:56.000 --> 00:37:00.000
They would lead you out by your standard, by your flag.

00:37:00.000 --> 00:37:02.000
And so they asked, who shall go first?

00:37:02.000 --> 00:37:05.000
And in Numbers 10, God replies saying, Judah will go first.

00:37:05.000 --> 00:37:12.000
And once he says Judah will go first, there's no question of Zebulun or Reuben saying, but I'm the oldest, why can't I go first?

00:37:12.000 --> 00:37:13.000
It ain't up to you.

00:37:13.000 --> 00:37:18.000
You know, every time we talk like this, it seems to smack of authority.

00:37:18.000 --> 00:37:22.000
And the fact is, that's exactly right.

00:37:22.000 --> 00:37:24.000
It is exactly right.

00:37:24.000 --> 00:37:26.000
Those were exactly the words you should have used.

00:37:26.000 --> 00:37:31.000
It smacks of authority.

00:37:31.000 --> 00:37:33.000
It doesn't smack of hierarchy.

00:37:33.000 --> 00:37:35.000
It smacks of authority.

00:37:35.000 --> 00:37:37.000
It smacks of authority.

00:37:37.000 --> 00:37:39.000
It smacks of authority.

00:37:39.000 --> 00:37:41.000
It doesn't smack of hierarchy.

00:37:41.000 --> 00:37:43.000
It smacks of authority.

00:37:43.000 --> 00:37:45.000
There's a difference.

00:37:47.000 --> 00:37:51.000
If it smacks of hierarchy, then you have a problem.

00:37:51.000 --> 00:37:59.000
Because Jesus said, the masters on earth laud it over their servants, but you are not like that.

00:37:59.000 --> 00:38:02.000
You are not to laud it over your servants.

00:38:02.000 --> 00:38:04.000
You are to be servant-like.

00:38:04.000 --> 00:38:06.000
But is there authority?

00:38:06.000 --> 00:38:07.000
Yes.

00:38:07.000 --> 00:38:08.000
Is there hierarchy?

00:38:08.000 --> 00:38:09.000
No.

00:38:15.000 --> 00:38:23.000
And it chaps only because my sinful nature loves being rebellious.

00:38:26.000 --> 00:38:27.000
Any questions?

00:38:31.000 --> 00:38:32.000
Yep.

00:38:32.000 --> 00:38:37.000
And when one takes power without being given authority, you know what that's called?

00:38:37.000 --> 00:38:42.000
That's called being an authority unto oneself or rebellion.

00:38:42.000 --> 00:38:44.000
And you know what that is akin to?

00:38:44.000 --> 00:38:45.000
Witchcraft.

00:38:45.000 --> 00:38:47.000
But we won't go there today.

00:38:53.000 --> 00:38:55.000
Any questions, guys?

00:38:55.000 --> 00:38:57.000
So he tells them, teach them how to camp.

00:38:57.000 --> 00:38:58.000
Move by your flag.

00:38:58.000 --> 00:39:00.000
Move according to rank and command.

00:39:00.000 --> 00:39:01.000
Numbers two, words two.

00:39:01.000 --> 00:39:03.000
Numbers 10, verse 14.

00:39:06.000 --> 00:39:08.000
Then he says, I've taken charge.

00:39:08.000 --> 00:39:10.000
I've taken charge.

00:39:10.000 --> 00:39:12.000
I've taken charge of my crack troops.

00:39:12.000 --> 00:39:16.000
I've taken charge of my special forces.

00:39:16.000 --> 00:39:18.000
My special forces.

00:39:18.000 --> 00:39:20.000
I so look forward to this, guys.

00:39:20.000 --> 00:39:23.000
That's why we've been going down this series during Christmas.

00:39:24.000 --> 00:39:26.000
Called up my crack troops.

00:39:26.000 --> 00:39:29.000
You can only preach so many times about Joseph and Mary, guys.

00:39:34.000 --> 00:39:35.000
Go ahead.

00:39:37.000 --> 00:39:42.000
Crack troops are troops that are so cutting edge.

00:39:42.000 --> 00:39:48.000
So it's a Gen Z word.

00:39:48.000 --> 00:39:50.000
Or we'll make it a Gen Z word.

00:39:50.000 --> 00:39:51.000
Yeah.

00:39:51.000 --> 00:39:53.000
It's a Gen Z word.

00:39:53.000 --> 00:39:56.000
It's like these are sigma Rizla troops.

00:39:56.000 --> 00:39:58.000
Wouldn't I be right in saying that?

00:39:58.000 --> 00:39:59.000
Yeah.

00:39:59.000 --> 00:40:00.000
Yeah.

00:40:00.000 --> 00:40:05.000
So these are like crack troops, troops that are like cutting edge.

00:40:05.000 --> 00:40:10.000
Like you can't, these are like the SWAT team.

00:40:10.000 --> 00:40:14.000
This is like Chuck Norris if you're over 50.

00:40:14.000 --> 00:40:16.000
Tom Cruise if you're under 50.

00:40:16.000 --> 00:40:17.000
Yeah.

00:40:17.000 --> 00:40:20.000
So I've taken charge of my special forces.

00:40:20.000 --> 00:40:21.000
I've called up my crack troops.

00:40:21.000 --> 00:40:26.000
So the idea is that they are trained.

00:40:26.000 --> 00:40:28.000
They are trained.

00:40:28.000 --> 00:40:30.000
You know what I'm scared of, guys?

00:40:30.000 --> 00:40:32.000
Here's what I'm scared of.

00:40:32.000 --> 00:40:36.000
I'm scared of people in the churchperoys.

00:40:36.000 --> 00:40:38.000
I'm scared of people in the church.

00:40:38.000 --> 00:40:40.000
I'm scared of people in the church.

00:40:40.000 --> 00:40:42.000
I'm scared of people in the church.

00:40:42.000 --> 00:40:44.000
I'm scared of people in the church.

00:40:44.000 --> 00:40:48.000
I'm scared of people in the church.

00:40:48.000 --> 00:40:49.000
People in this church.

00:40:49.000 --> 00:40:54.000
Oi, Joey.

00:40:54.000 --> 00:40:58.000
How's it going?

00:40:58.000 --> 00:41:00.000
Oh, you outran your mom.

00:41:00.000 --> 00:41:04.000
I'm glad she caught you.

00:41:04.000 --> 00:41:10.000
Aaron, take care of your son.

00:41:10.000 --> 00:41:14.000
One of my fears in this church is what if you're highly gifted?

00:41:14.000 --> 00:41:22.000
What if you are like a powerful war horse but you refuse to be trained?

00:41:22.000 --> 00:41:23.000
I'm scared of that.

00:41:23.000 --> 00:41:25.000
You know why I'm scared of that?

00:41:25.000 --> 00:41:35.000
Because I'd hate to say no to you, but I will.

00:41:35.000 --> 00:41:43.000
I'm going to call on your friends if they're not here.

00:41:43.000 --> 00:41:45.000
Don is not well.

00:41:45.000 --> 00:41:47.000
That's why he's not here.

00:41:47.000 --> 00:41:50.000
If he's watching, hey, Don.

00:41:50.000 --> 00:41:53.000
And Brielle is not well.

00:41:53.000 --> 00:41:55.000
Brielle.

00:41:55.000 --> 00:41:57.000
Yeah.

00:41:57.000 --> 00:42:01.000
Okay.

00:42:01.000 --> 00:42:05.000
So, what if God wants to create a trained unit out of this church?

00:42:05.000 --> 00:42:12.000
Not enthusiastic unit.

00:42:12.000 --> 00:42:16.000
Because enthusiasm without knowledge is dangerous.

00:42:16.000 --> 00:42:19.000
Proverbs 19.2.

00:42:19.000 --> 00:42:21.000
Enthusiasm without knowledge is dangerous.

00:42:21.000 --> 00:42:23.000
Proverbs 19.2.

00:42:23.000 --> 00:42:26.000
He's not looking for an enthusiastic unit.

00:42:26.000 --> 00:42:28.000
He's looking for a trained unit.

00:42:28.000 --> 00:42:39.000
And he wants a unit that will discipline themselves like Paul says in 1 Corinthians 9.27 where he says, I discipline my body.

00:42:39.000 --> 00:42:40.000
I don't go around shadow boxing.

00:42:40.000 --> 00:42:46.000
I discipline my body so that I may not be disqualified at the end.

00:42:46.000 --> 00:42:55.000
Meaning I learn how to train myself.

00:42:55.000 --> 00:42:59.000
I'm going to say in the next verse, they're bursting with pride.

00:42:59.000 --> 00:43:05.000
They are bursting with pride.

00:43:05.000 --> 00:43:08.000
With pride and passion.

00:43:08.000 --> 00:43:10.000
They're bursting with pride and passion.

00:43:10.000 --> 00:43:15.000
These are the guys God is putting together as a military unit.

00:43:15.000 --> 00:43:19.000
They're bursting with pride and passion to carry out judgment.

00:43:19.000 --> 00:43:22.000
Three things he looks for in people that follow him.

00:43:22.000 --> 00:43:24.000
First one is a word we don't often use nowadays.

00:43:24.000 --> 00:43:25.000
It's fealty.

00:43:25.000 --> 00:43:28.000
The second word is a word we think is dirty.

00:43:28.000 --> 00:43:29.000
Jealousy.

00:43:29.000 --> 00:43:32.000
And the third word is a word that we don't know.

00:43:32.000 --> 00:43:37.000
Jehu-like focus.

00:43:37.000 --> 00:43:39.000
Jehu-like focus.

00:43:39.000 --> 00:43:44.000
Fealty is this allegiance that God has put on us.

00:43:44.000 --> 00:43:45.000
It's an old fashioned word.

00:43:45.000 --> 00:43:48.000
Which is why it doesn't exist anymore.

00:43:48.000 --> 00:43:50.000
An allegiance that will do anything.

00:43:50.000 --> 00:43:51.000
That will pay any cost.

00:43:51.000 --> 00:43:54.000
In 2 Samuel 23, there are these three guys.

00:43:54.000 --> 00:43:58.000
And they hear David just expressing a desire.

00:43:58.000 --> 00:44:00.000
And here was David's desire.

00:44:00.000 --> 00:44:01.000
Ah!

00:44:01.000 --> 00:44:03.000
And they hear David's desire.

00:44:03.000 --> 00:44:05.000
And they hear David's desire.

00:44:05.000 --> 00:44:07.000
And they hear David's desire.

00:44:07.000 --> 00:44:09.000
And they hear David's desire.

00:44:09.000 --> 00:44:11.000
And they hear David's desire.

00:44:11.000 --> 00:44:12.000
Ah!

00:44:12.000 --> 00:44:15.000
Running through the caves, being a refugee, he says,

00:44:15.000 --> 00:44:19.000
My God, if I could only, once again, taste the water

00:44:19.000 --> 00:44:21.000
drawn out of the wells of Jerusalem.

00:44:21.000 --> 00:44:22.000
He just mentions that.

00:44:22.000 --> 00:44:25.000
And you know what these three guys do?

00:44:25.000 --> 00:44:29.000
They get up in the middle of the night, leave their camp,

00:44:29.000 --> 00:44:31.000
go through enemy territory.

00:44:31.000 --> 00:44:35.000
Because the enemy is the one that at present rules Jerusalem.

00:44:35.000 --> 00:44:39.000
Goes through enemy territory, gets water from the well,

00:44:39.000 --> 00:44:42.000
breaks back through enemy territory, and gives it to David.

00:44:42.000 --> 00:44:43.000
That's fealty.

00:44:43.000 --> 00:44:44.000
That's allegiance.

00:44:44.000 --> 00:44:46.000
But it doesn't matter what God asks.

00:44:46.000 --> 00:44:48.000
But it doesn't matter what the cost is.

00:44:48.000 --> 00:44:51.000
One is ready to pay it.

00:44:51.000 --> 00:44:53.000
This is what he means when he says,

00:44:53.000 --> 00:44:56.000
They are bursting with pride and passion.

00:44:56.000 --> 00:45:00.000
Hey, what would it take to be a man or a woman like that?

00:45:00.000 --> 00:45:03.000
What does it take?

00:45:03.000 --> 00:45:08.000
Until one goes down this road, one can't even taste what it feels like.

00:45:08.000 --> 00:45:10.000
Or what about jealousy?

00:45:10.000 --> 00:45:14.000
Oprah was put off when she read a scripture that said,

00:45:14.000 --> 00:45:15.000
Our God is a jealous God.

00:45:15.000 --> 00:45:19.000
If only she had spent half the time she spends on her programs

00:45:19.000 --> 00:45:23.000
researching what jealous means.

00:45:23.000 --> 00:45:26.000
When we talk about a jealous God,

00:45:26.000 --> 00:45:29.000
we're not talking about a God who is jealous.

00:45:29.000 --> 00:45:30.000
He actually calls himself that.

00:45:30.000 --> 00:45:34.000
He says, My name is jealous.

00:45:34.000 --> 00:45:39.000
I am only, and I will not be anyone else's.

00:45:39.000 --> 00:45:41.000
Allegiance to him matters.

00:45:41.000 --> 00:45:46.000
Any husband who says that he's okay with his wife sleeping around

00:45:46.000 --> 00:45:51.000
does not love his wife.

00:45:51.000 --> 00:45:52.000
Ah, darling, it's okay.

00:45:52.000 --> 00:45:54.000
You can't be jealous.

00:45:54.000 --> 00:45:56.000
You can't be jealous.

00:45:56.000 --> 00:45:57.000
Ah, darling, it's okay.

00:45:57.000 --> 00:45:59.000
You can go sleep around some more.

00:45:59.000 --> 00:46:01.000
That guy doesn't love his wife.

00:46:01.000 --> 00:46:03.000
He better be jealous over his wife.

00:46:03.000 --> 00:46:06.000
God is jealous over my allegiance to him.

00:46:06.000 --> 00:46:10.000
And it is jealousy that drives a guy like Phinehas in Numbers 17.

00:46:10.000 --> 00:46:22.000
It says, Phinehas saw God being dissed by a guy called Zimri and Cosby.

00:46:23.000 --> 00:46:27.000
And he takes a javelin and he thrusts it through them both.

00:46:27.000 --> 00:46:29.000
And here's what God says.

00:46:29.000 --> 00:46:36.000
He was jealous for my name and he will be remembered forever.

00:46:36.000 --> 00:46:38.000
And then there's Jehu.

00:46:38.000 --> 00:46:43.000
Jehu was anointed to be king and his task was very simple.

00:46:43.000 --> 00:46:48.000
I want you to make sure that Ahab's house is completely destroyed.

00:46:48.000 --> 00:46:55.000
Ahab was an evil king that did great harm to Israel with his wife Jezebel.

00:46:55.000 --> 00:46:59.000
And Jehu fulfills what he's told to the point where God,

00:46:59.000 --> 00:47:02.000
even though there were things Ahab did wrong, God says to Ahab,

00:47:02.000 --> 00:47:03.000
Ahab, well done.

00:47:03.000 --> 00:47:05.000
He actually says, well done, Ahab.

00:47:05.000 --> 00:47:13.000
What I tasked you to do, you have done and you have completed what you were asked.

00:47:13.000 --> 00:47:16.000
That's what it looks like to have pride and passion for him.

00:47:16.000 --> 00:47:17.000
When it comes to judgment.

00:47:17.000 --> 00:47:23.000
And I said already, our war is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces.

00:47:23.000 --> 00:47:32.000
If it takes, if it's required that I fly tomorrow morning to Charlotte and come back day after, then so be it.

00:47:32.000 --> 00:47:36.000
If it is required that it costs a lot, so be it.

00:47:36.000 --> 00:47:42.000
Why? Because there's a nine-year-old that is being ravaged every night by demons.

00:47:42.000 --> 00:47:44.000
And should he be free or should he not?

00:47:44.000 --> 00:47:46.000
What if it was your daughter or your son?

00:47:46.000 --> 00:47:48.000
What if it was your wife or your husband?

00:47:48.000 --> 00:47:52.000
Would you want it or not?

00:47:52.000 --> 00:47:59.000
And if that is the case, then what cost is too little or too big?

00:47:59.000 --> 00:48:02.000
Hey, guys, if you need to leave in between, don't feel bad.

00:48:02.000 --> 00:48:09.000
I'll just say something loud like you're leaving the building.

00:48:09.000 --> 00:48:10.000
I'm kidding.

00:48:10.000 --> 00:48:11.000
I won't say anything.

00:48:11.000 --> 00:48:12.000
I won't say anything.

00:48:12.000 --> 00:48:20.000
If you have to leave, you must just gather your courage and say, I got to get out.

00:48:20.000 --> 00:48:21.000
See, I even gave you permission.

00:48:21.000 --> 00:48:27.000
You better leave now.

00:48:27.000 --> 00:48:35.000
Aaron, not you.

00:48:35.000 --> 00:48:40.000
Those are just the scriptural notes for what I said.

00:48:40.000 --> 00:48:41.000
Tuni, I've got one hour, 10 minutes left.

00:48:41.000 --> 00:48:42.000
I'm kidding. I'm kidding.

00:48:42.000 --> 00:48:46.000
I'm going to stop now.

00:48:46.000 --> 00:48:53.000
Finally, God says in the next verse, he says, I am the one calling this army.

00:48:53.000 --> 00:48:58.000
I am the one calling this army.

00:48:58.000 --> 00:49:03.000
Into battle formation.

00:49:03.000 --> 00:49:06.000
I am the one calling this army into battle formation.

00:49:06.000 --> 00:49:10.000
He's the one.

00:49:10.000 --> 00:49:15.000
I am the one calling this army into battle formation.

00:49:15.000 --> 00:49:20.000
He's the one.

00:49:20.000 --> 00:49:25.000
He's the one assembling.

00:49:25.000 --> 00:49:35.000
So guys, what if, and the reason I'm shutting my eyes is just to kind of grasp the enormity of the moment.

00:49:35.000 --> 00:49:44.000
What if what I'm saying is, what if I'm calling this army into battle formation?

00:49:44.000 --> 00:49:47.000
Kind of grasp the enormity of the moment.

00:49:47.000 --> 00:49:57.000
What if what I'm saying to you right now is what God has for us for 366 days.

00:49:57.000 --> 00:50:00.000
365 days in 2026.

00:50:00.000 --> 00:50:06.000
What if this is our inheritance for the 20th year of our existence?

00:50:06.000 --> 00:50:12.000
What if it is he who is saying, consecrate yourself as in set yourself apart.

00:50:12.000 --> 00:50:13.000
Get ready.

00:50:13.000 --> 00:50:15.000
Do whatever is necessary.

00:50:15.000 --> 00:50:17.000
What if he's saying it to every one of us?

00:50:17.000 --> 00:50:19.000
What if he's saying it to Isaiah?

00:50:19.000 --> 00:50:20.000
What if he's saying it to Maya?

00:50:20.000 --> 00:50:22.000
What if he's saying it to Shereen?

00:50:22.000 --> 00:50:24.000
What if he's saying it to Kamala Nan?

00:50:24.000 --> 00:50:26.000
What if he's saying it to that family unit?

00:50:26.000 --> 00:50:29.000
What are they going to do now?

00:50:29.000 --> 00:50:32.000
What if he's saying it to me?

00:50:32.000 --> 00:50:41.000
What are you going to do with the enormity of an inheritance that he wants to give a group of people in a church for the 20th year?

00:50:41.000 --> 00:50:52.000
A church for a year that will affect for years on end different people groups, different individuals and almost guaranteed different nations.

00:50:52.000 --> 00:50:56.000
What are you going to do?

00:50:56.000 --> 00:51:06.000
I pray God that you feel the pressure of it, the weight of it on your heart, on your mind.

00:51:06.000 --> 00:51:08.000
It must be difficult to carry beings.

00:51:08.000 --> 00:51:15.000
If you feel the pressure of it, you go to the only person who can help you carry it.

00:51:15.000 --> 00:51:17.000
Do I know how to make this happen?

00:51:17.000 --> 00:51:18.000
No.

00:51:18.000 --> 00:51:21.000
Do I know someone who is in you and in me who can make this happen?

00:51:21.000 --> 00:51:22.000
Yes.

00:51:22.000 --> 00:51:24.000
How do we go about it?

00:51:24.000 --> 00:51:26.000
Weekly direction.

00:51:26.000 --> 00:51:33.000
That's what training looks like.

00:51:33.000 --> 00:51:36.000
What do you think you should do in your research in 2026?

00:51:36.000 --> 00:51:50.000
If this is not your cup of tea, start drinking.

00:51:50.000 --> 00:51:56.000
Any questions?

00:51:56.000 --> 00:52:00.000
I think it's a good idea to start with the people who are in the church.

00:52:00.000 --> 00:52:02.000
I think it's a good idea to start with the people who are in the church.

00:52:02.000 --> 00:52:04.000
I think it's a good idea to start with the people who are in the church.

00:52:04.000 --> 00:52:06.000
I think it's a good idea to start with the people who are in the church.

00:52:06.000 --> 00:52:08.000
I think it's a good idea to start with the people who are in the church.

00:52:08.000 --> 00:52:10.000
I think it's a good idea to start with the people who are in the church.

00:52:10.000 --> 00:52:12.000
I think it's a good idea to start with the people who are in the church.

00:52:12.000 --> 00:52:14.000
I think it's a good idea to start with the people who are in the church.

00:52:14.000 --> 00:52:16.000
I think it's a good idea to start with the people who are in the church.

00:52:16.000 --> 00:52:18.000
I think it's a good idea to start with the people who are in the church.

00:52:18.000 --> 00:52:20.000
I think it's a good idea to start with the people who are in the church.

00:52:20.000 --> 00:52:22.000
I think it's a good idea to start with the people who are in the church.

00:52:22.000 --> 00:52:24.000
I think it's a good idea to start with the people who are in the church.

00:52:24.000 --> 00:52:26.000
I think it's a good idea to start with the people who are in the church.

00:52:26.000 --> 00:52:28.000
I think it's a good idea to start with the people who are in the church.

00:52:28.000 --> 00:52:30.000
I think it's a good idea to start with the people who are in the church.

00:52:30.000 --> 00:52:32.000
I think it's a good idea to start with the people who are in the church.

00:52:32.000 --> 00:52:34.000
I think it's a good idea to start with the people who are in the church.

00:52:34.000 --> 00:52:36.000
I think it's a good idea to start with the people who are in the church.

00:52:36.000 --> 00:52:38.000
I think it's a good idea to start with the people who are in the church.

00:52:38.000 --> 00:52:40.000
I think it's a good idea to start with the people who are in the church.

00:52:40.000 --> 00:52:42.000
I think it's a good idea to start with the people who are in the church.

00:52:42.000 --> 00:52:44.000
Intent is the purpose that you may have for yourself or God may have for you.

00:52:44.000 --> 00:52:46.000
Intentionality is the steps that you take to fulfill the intent of the purpose.

00:52:46.000 --> 00:52:48.000
Intent is the purpose that you may have for yourself or God may have for you.

00:52:48.000 --> 00:52:50.000
Intentionality is the steps that you take to fulfill the intent of the purpose.

00:52:50.000 --> 00:52:52.000
Intentionality is the steps that you take to fulfill the intent of the purpose.

00:52:52.000 --> 00:52:54.000
And therein lies the gap.

00:52:54.000 --> 00:52:56.000
The road to hell is not, it may be paved with whatever.

00:52:56.000 --> 00:52:58.000
The road to hell is not, it may be paved with whatever.

00:52:58.000 --> 00:53:00.000
The road to heaven is paved with a whole lot of good intent and very little intentionality.

00:53:00.000 --> 00:53:02.000
The road to heaven is paved with a whole lot of good intent and very little intentionality.

00:53:02.000 --> 00:53:04.000
That's why it becomes really difficult.

00:53:06.000 --> 00:53:08.000
It's easy to say this.

00:53:08.000 --> 00:53:10.000
It's so hard to now begin to walk in this.

00:53:10.000 --> 00:53:12.000
So what's that family unit going to do?

00:53:12.000 --> 00:53:14.000
The one that I mentioned.

00:53:14.000 --> 00:53:16.000
How's Isaiah, Kamal, Anne, and Maya, and Shereen going to react?

00:53:16.000 --> 00:53:18.000
How's Isaiah, Kamal, Anne, and Maya, and Shereen going to react?

00:53:18.000 --> 00:53:20.000
How do they take this intent and turn it into intentionality?

00:53:20.000 --> 00:53:22.000
How's Tunni and Anil going to do it?

00:53:22.000 --> 00:53:24.000
How's Tunni and Anil going to do it?

00:53:24.000 --> 00:53:26.000
And for each of us it will be different.

00:53:26.000 --> 00:53:28.000
And you'll have to come and ask for help.

00:53:28.000 --> 00:53:30.000
Help from others, help from me, help from the scriptures.

00:53:30.000 --> 00:53:32.000
Help from others, help from me, help from the scriptures.

00:53:32.000 --> 00:53:34.000
How does Andrei, who's been here for four weeks, decide?

00:53:34.000 --> 00:53:36.000
How does Andrei, who's been here for four weeks, decide?

00:53:36.000 --> 00:53:38.000
His first decision is, should I still stick around with this bunch of crazy people?

00:53:38.000 --> 00:53:40.000
Then if he says yes to that, then he has to decide what he's going to do.

00:53:40.000 --> 00:53:44.000
Then if he says yes to that, then he has to decide what he's going to do.

00:53:54.000 --> 00:53:56.000
Which part?

00:53:56.000 --> 00:53:57.000
Intent is you saying, I want to finish

00:53:57.000 --> 00:53:59.000
Which part?

00:53:59.000 --> 00:54:01.000
Intent is you saying, I want to finish

00:54:01.000 --> 00:54:05.000
A doctorate in political science.

00:54:05.000 --> 00:54:13.720
it in political science. Intentionality is what are the steps that you will take to get a PhD

00:54:13.720 --> 00:54:23.560
in political science. That's the difference. And so you can keep saying I want to become a doctor

00:54:23.560 --> 00:54:28.200
in political science for the next three years, but if I were to check the steps you take,

00:54:28.200 --> 00:54:34.520
will I see the steps that you intentionally take to get from I want to be a doctor to becoming a

00:54:34.520 --> 00:54:43.800
doctor to be struggling with it for years. One of these days he'll surprise us. I mean,

00:54:43.800 --> 00:54:58.120
his wife did it in record time. Last bit. Hey, go to revelations 12 7 to 11. I want to show

00:54:58.120 --> 00:55:05.720
your scripture. Then we'll go and conclude revelations 12 7 to 11. Revelation 12 7 to 11.

00:55:18.040 --> 00:55:24.200
I love this passage. War broke out in heaven.

00:55:24.200 --> 00:55:33.320
Michael and his angels fought the dragon. The dragon and his angels fought back. We started

00:55:34.040 --> 00:55:41.800
this whole series with a simple premise that the moment you say the word kingdom, kingdom implies

00:55:41.800 --> 00:55:51.320
warfare. The kingdom will not advance in Richmond without spiritual warfare. We said that. So once

00:55:51.400 --> 00:55:57.560
again, war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought the dragon. The dragon and his angels

00:55:57.560 --> 00:56:03.240
fought back. But there were no match for Michael. They were cleared out of heaven, not a sign of them

00:56:03.240 --> 00:56:11.560
left. The great dragon, ancient serpent, the one called devil and Satan, the one who led the whole

00:56:11.560 --> 00:56:18.280
earth astray, thrown out and all his angels thrown out with him, thrown down to the earth. And then I

00:56:19.240 --> 00:56:26.280
heard a strong voice out of heaven saying salvation and power are established. Kingdom of our God,

00:56:26.280 --> 00:56:32.200
authority of his Messiah, the accuser of our brothers and sisters thrown out who accused them

00:56:32.200 --> 00:56:37.640
day and night before God. I love the next verse, which should become like a pillar in our lives.

00:56:37.640 --> 00:56:43.080
They defeated him through the blood of the lamb, as in the death of Christ, and the bold word of

00:56:43.160 --> 00:56:49.960
their witness, as in what we witness to now, what we pledge allegiance to. They weren't in love with

00:56:49.960 --> 00:56:56.440
themselves. They were willing to die for Christ. They weren't in love with themselves. They were

00:56:56.440 --> 00:57:09.160
willing to die for Christ. That's what we're talking about, guys. Once we start walking down this path,

00:57:09.160 --> 00:57:16.520
which we will, doesn't matter whether it's just two people or all of us, once you start walking down

00:57:16.520 --> 00:57:23.480
this path, you'll find that you'll have assignments. These are assignments that the Spirit of God will

00:57:23.480 --> 00:57:31.160
give. They will be forerunner in nature or apostolic in nature. But God will call out one of you and say,

00:57:31.160 --> 00:57:37.960
hey, I know you're training, but listen, here's what I have for you. Or he'll call out a couple and

00:57:37.960 --> 00:57:43.560
say, I know you've been training and want to walk like the army that I'm waving into formation.

00:57:43.560 --> 00:57:48.840
But while you're doing that, Sheldon and Jane, here's what I want you to do. And he sends them out.

00:57:48.840 --> 00:57:54.440
He calls Joan, saying, Joan, you've been faithful for years on end. Here's what I want you to do.

00:57:54.440 --> 00:58:03.240
But Lord, I, who is it that made you? And then he sends her off. Forerunner, apostolic, Spirit-led

00:58:03.240 --> 00:58:03.960
assignments.

00:58:08.040 --> 00:58:18.440
This is when living for God becomes life. A Christian who is not, who hasn't tasted or

00:58:18.440 --> 00:58:23.560
experienced a Spirit of God assignment is a Christian who hasn't discovered God.

00:58:24.040 --> 00:58:26.840
Till you taste of this, you've got nothing.

00:58:30.280 --> 00:58:39.720
Our religion is experiential. It is truth that must be experienced and lived out. The word must

00:58:39.720 --> 00:58:48.920
become flesh. The word must become flesh. It has to be lived out. And anyone who doesn't taste that

00:58:48.920 --> 00:58:51.960
has an experienced God. All you experience is a service.

00:58:54.200 --> 00:59:02.040
And then you have these assignments. You know, I love the word that the message uses for Paul and

00:59:02.040 --> 00:59:10.280
Peter. Colossians 1.1. I am Paul, an apostle of Christ, sent on an assignment. First Peter 1.1.

00:59:10.520 --> 00:59:24.280
I am Peter, a servant of Christ, sent on an assignment. This idea of God sending you on

00:59:24.280 --> 00:59:32.200
assignments isn't new. Acts chapter 13, verse 4. Again, set aside for me Paul and Barnabas,

00:59:32.200 --> 00:59:37.160
because I have an assignment for them. And when it comes to assignments, what you have in your

00:59:37.160 --> 00:59:43.480
pocket, what your marital status is, what your yesterday looked like, or how bleak your tomorrow

00:59:43.480 --> 00:59:50.040
looks like doesn't count. In fact, it's usually qualifications for assignments.

00:59:55.480 --> 00:59:59.240
Because he loves showing off with the little that you are.

00:59:59.640 --> 01:00:05.480
What is God's expectation? God's expectation is, hey, Ezekiel 22, verse 30. I looked for a man

01:00:06.040 --> 01:00:11.160
to stand in the gap. I looked for a man who could stand in the gap and rescue this nation. I looked

01:00:11.160 --> 01:00:18.120
for a man who could stand in the gap and rescue this nation, but I found nobody. That's Ezekiel

01:00:18.120 --> 01:00:24.360
22, verse 30. And then that second Chronicle 16, verse 9. My eyes are roaming to and fro, looking

01:00:24.600 --> 01:00:28.600
for one person who is loyal to me and who I can be faithful to.

01:00:40.840 --> 01:00:45.800
Guys, one of the things you have to decide in 2026 that you won't do is look at your present

01:00:45.800 --> 01:00:52.600
circumstances and say, the conditions are not right. Ecclesiastes 11, a man who keeps looking

01:00:52.600 --> 01:00:57.880
at the wind, trying to see when it'll blow and cause the tree to fall is a man who will never cut

01:00:57.880 --> 01:01:18.360
down the tree. Please don't use your circumstance as a reason. It's not fair.

01:01:18.840 --> 01:01:22.120
Because when I do that, my God is about as small as me.

01:01:26.040 --> 01:01:29.720
I can't solve my situation either, can he? He becomes as small as me.

01:01:33.000 --> 01:01:37.720
Don't look at your status. Don't look at your marital status. Don't look at whether you're

01:01:37.720 --> 01:01:42.120
doing extremely well or not. Guys, there's something to purpose. You know what purpose does?

01:01:42.120 --> 01:01:47.960
Purpose gives meaning. Purpose gives priority. Purpose creates time. Purpose puts a fire in your

01:01:47.960 --> 01:01:53.960
belly. And when that purpose is provided by him, the Christ, the creator of the universe,

01:01:55.640 --> 01:01:57.480
that can set a man alight.

01:02:12.120 --> 01:02:18.120
Assignments are sometimes given to individuals. It'll be one individual, one echo, one annihilator

01:02:18.920 --> 01:02:24.360
saying, okay, go. I mean, imagine that scene in numbers. There's an old man. He's almost as old

01:02:24.360 --> 01:02:30.040
as Moses, or slightly older than Moses. He's got a censor in his hand, and he's running up and down.

01:02:30.040 --> 01:02:36.280
One man, and the censor is sending out incense. People are dying of the plague, and there's one

01:02:36.280 --> 01:02:40.760
man who becomes a dividing line between life and death. And he's running up and down.

01:02:40.760 --> 01:02:42.760
Life and death.

01:02:47.080 --> 01:02:51.160
You got one man like David. He takes on a territorial power called Goliath.

01:02:51.720 --> 01:02:57.400
It's an old trick of the enemy. Send guys like Nimrod. Send guys like Herod. Send guys like

01:02:57.400 --> 01:03:04.760
Pharaoh to undo nations. And here is this 10-foot tall giant standing, saying, I will humble Israel.

01:03:04.760 --> 01:03:10.280
You think you're a people of God? Let me show you what I can do. And there's one young boy who decides

01:03:10.280 --> 01:03:15.480
that he is on assignment. What was his initial assignment? His initial assignment was very simple.

01:03:15.480 --> 01:03:22.600
It was to deliver curds, honey, bread, and raisin cakes to his brothers who are soldiers on the

01:03:22.600 --> 01:03:30.600
front line. That was his assignment. What's the secret here? What starts as an ordinary

01:03:31.480 --> 01:03:37.960
little task that you are faithful to brings you into places where you begin to ruin the enemy and

01:03:37.960 --> 01:03:46.760
exalt God. Everybody wants big assignments. Nobody wants to supply raisin cakes. You know,

01:03:46.760 --> 01:03:52.760
Andrea Agassi, he won the Wimbledon. You know what he used to do? He used to fetch tennis balls,

01:03:52.760 --> 01:03:58.440
running two and four, picking up balls. That's what he did. Till one day, he won the Wimbledon,

01:03:58.440 --> 01:04:00.600
and then he married Steffi Graf. Life can't get better.

01:04:01.240 --> 01:04:05.240
At some point, he came to the senses that he doesn't need to wear a wig. He's got a beautiful bald head.

01:04:08.760 --> 01:04:14.520
Enough about Andrea Agassi. I'm sorry I went down that road. I like the guy, though.

01:04:17.880 --> 01:04:25.080
Numbers 25, verse 7 to 9. The Aaron story is from number 16. Numbers 25, 7 to 9. A man called

01:04:25.160 --> 01:04:30.680
Phinehas takes a javelin and just thrusts it through people that are dishonoring God.

01:04:30.680 --> 01:04:37.320
And once again, people are saved because he has the zeal to disable compromise. He disables

01:04:37.320 --> 01:04:43.400
compromise because he has a zeal for it. One man. First Kings 18, 24. 450 prophets of Baal and just

01:04:43.400 --> 01:04:48.520
me. So why don't you call out to your gods and let's have a power encounter? Let's have a power

01:04:48.520 --> 01:04:53.640
encounter. Let's have a power encounter. Let's have a power encounter. Let's have a power encounter.

01:04:53.640 --> 01:05:01.560
And let's have a power encounter. And let me show you who God is. It is because of people like

01:05:01.560 --> 01:05:06.920
Elijah that you have people like Martin Luther. It is because of people like Elijah that you have

01:05:06.920 --> 01:05:12.920
a William Wilberforce who comes up with the demolition of slavery. It is because of guys

01:05:12.920 --> 01:05:16.840
like Elijah that you have a David Wilkerson that changes the streets of New York.

01:05:17.800 --> 01:05:20.120
Come on man. When is it your turn and my turn?

01:05:21.960 --> 01:05:29.800
2026 is a year that's waiting for people that can rise up so that God can take one man out of a

01:05:29.800 --> 01:05:34.040
group that's being trained as an army and say here's your assignment Oliver. Go.

01:05:34.040 --> 01:05:46.680
You're going to turn back? No way.

01:05:51.640 --> 01:05:55.640
You look at your job situation, your wallet, your marriage and you think you're going to turn back?

01:05:55.640 --> 01:05:59.880
No way. Because your God ain't your size.

01:06:04.040 --> 01:06:23.000
Isaiah 51 verse 2. I love it. It says look at where you came from. Look at that one man Abraham.

01:06:23.000 --> 01:06:28.200
Look at the quarry that you were cut out of. One man Abraham and one woman.

01:06:28.360 --> 01:06:36.840
They're loins shriveled up but out of those two I have brought forth a nation. I can birth an agenda

01:06:36.840 --> 01:06:42.360
through anybody in this church who's willing to step up. I can birth an agenda for nations.

01:06:44.760 --> 01:06:52.440
Hey if you don't believe that think of anybody in the last 50 years who made an impact

01:06:52.440 --> 01:06:58.520
upon the world and who you know was a believer and you check their pedigree and you will find

01:06:58.520 --> 01:07:05.640
that none of them came from good stock. None of them were handed over riches.

01:07:06.760 --> 01:07:12.600
None of them had any theological background. None of them had mega churches.

01:07:13.000 --> 01:07:18.760
And those are the kind of guys you will see. You'll see someone like Emily Kay who sits there quietly

01:07:18.760 --> 01:07:23.800
and I went and said that to her yesterday but buffers like crazy and knows the word.

01:07:29.080 --> 01:07:32.600
Jumping up and down to a song is just enthusiasm.

01:07:35.000 --> 01:07:40.760
That's the easy part. Do that too. Enthusiasm is the easy part.

01:07:40.760 --> 01:07:43.960
Do that too. Enthusiasm is good as I'm discovering.

01:07:53.400 --> 01:08:02.200
Genesis 45 verse 7. One man Joseph sent ahead off a famine to preserve Israel. One man.

01:08:03.960 --> 01:08:10.600
And you should read. I know you know these stories but read 2 Samuel 23, 8 to 12.

01:08:10.680 --> 01:08:15.960
2 Samuel 23, 8 to 12. Do not name your children after the guys you find there.

01:08:16.920 --> 01:08:24.920
It's a disservice to your children. Yeah 2 Samuel 23, 8 to 12. Look at the guys in that chapter man.

01:08:26.120 --> 01:08:33.160
These are what I'm hoping I will get next year out of us.

01:08:33.480 --> 01:08:39.320
I pray God that I'll have the courage to do whatever it takes including offending you to get you there.

01:08:41.720 --> 01:08:43.720
2 Samuel 23, 8 to 12.

01:08:46.280 --> 01:08:53.800
2 Samuel 23, 8 to 12. This is the listing of David's top men. Like I said don't name your children this.

01:08:54.440 --> 01:09:02.440
Joseph the Tackemonite. He was the chief of the three. He once put a spear to work against 800.

01:09:02.440 --> 01:09:09.640
Killed them all in a day. Eliezer the son of Dodai the Ahohite was next of the elite three.

01:09:09.640 --> 01:09:17.640
He was with David when the Philistines poked fun at them at Pasdameim. When the Philistines drew up for battle Israel retreated.

01:09:17.640 --> 01:09:22.680
But Eliezer stood his ground and killed Philistines right and left until he was exhausted.

01:09:22.680 --> 01:09:28.680
But he never let go of his sword. A big win for God that day. The army then rejoined Eliezer.

01:09:28.680 --> 01:09:34.680
But all that was left to do was the cleanup or collecting the spoils. That's crazy.

01:09:34.680 --> 01:09:40.680
Where God will send you in an assignment and say hey Joy, hey Sen, hey Vignesh I want you to go do this.

01:09:40.680 --> 01:09:46.680
You go and do that. The rest of us are waiting. We didn't collect the spoils because when you were sent to the army.

01:09:46.720 --> 01:09:48.720
You did well.

01:09:53.720 --> 01:09:59.720
You are doing well today and the church is where it is today because people in the last 20 years stood up and did what they were supposed to do.

01:09:59.720 --> 01:10:05.720
We are beneficiaries of the people whose shoulders we are presently standing on.

01:10:05.720 --> 01:10:07.720
Who paid a much higher cost.

01:10:07.760 --> 01:10:11.760
Here is a simple rule that God follows and that leaders must follow.

01:10:11.760 --> 01:10:15.760
God will not ask you to do anything that he hasn't done himself.

01:10:15.760 --> 01:10:19.760
And leaders should not ask you to do anything that they haven't done themselves.

01:10:19.760 --> 01:10:27.760
It gives you the right to demand of people what they must do.

01:10:27.760 --> 01:10:31.760
Not for the sake of man but because his is a kingdom of power and the glory.

01:10:31.800 --> 01:10:34.800
When assignments come guys, here is a beautiful thing.

01:10:34.800 --> 01:10:36.800
When assignments come your way and they will.

01:10:36.800 --> 01:10:40.800
You have a degree of autonomy and you have permission from God.

01:10:42.800 --> 01:10:44.800
And you will begin to enjoy it.

01:10:44.800 --> 01:10:47.800
You will walk with him, you will talk with him, you will figure out how to do things.

01:10:47.800 --> 01:10:48.800
Why do you do things?

01:10:48.800 --> 01:10:50.800
Because you are the leader of the people.

01:10:50.800 --> 01:10:52.800
You are the leader of the people.

01:10:52.800 --> 01:10:54.800
You are the leader of the people.

01:10:54.800 --> 01:10:56.800
You are the leader of the people.

01:10:56.800 --> 01:10:58.800
You are the leader of the people.

01:10:58.840 --> 01:11:01.840
You will walk with him, you will talk with him, you will figure out how to do things.

01:11:01.840 --> 01:11:04.840
Why does God give autonomy and permission?

01:11:04.840 --> 01:11:19.840
Because he wants you to push past where he was and contend for what he, what and where he is calling you to.

01:11:19.880 --> 01:11:39.880
When you locate your permission, when you locate your place of permission, you will hear God laughing.

01:11:44.880 --> 01:11:45.880
I will explain this.

01:11:45.920 --> 01:11:53.920
You will hear God laughing and you will hear the enemy gasp.

01:11:59.920 --> 01:12:06.920
You know occasionally when God says, hey, I have got this for you to do.

01:12:06.920 --> 01:12:08.920
I know you are training well, I have got this for you to do.

01:12:08.920 --> 01:12:09.920
You know what you should do?

01:12:09.920 --> 01:12:12.920
You should begin to ask God for things that you have read in the Word.

01:12:12.960 --> 01:12:16.960
For things that you have heard of that you have never really experienced.

01:12:16.960 --> 01:12:18.960
One of the guys who did that was Joshua.

01:12:18.960 --> 01:12:22.960
In Joshua chapter 10 verse 13, here is what Joshua does.

01:12:25.960 --> 01:12:28.960
He is at plenty of victories.

01:12:28.960 --> 01:12:29.960
He is doing well.

01:12:29.960 --> 01:12:33.960
And then he realizes that the enemy is on the run.

01:12:33.960 --> 01:12:40.960
But that is not enough because if the enemy is on the run, tomorrow they can gather back together and come back against him.

01:12:41.000 --> 01:12:44.000
So he asks for what no man has asked before.

01:12:44.000 --> 01:12:48.000
But he wouldn't have asked it if God wouldn't have prompted it.

01:12:48.000 --> 01:12:50.000
And here is what he asks.

01:12:50.000 --> 01:13:07.000
He says, hey God, is it possible that you cause the sun to stand still in the sky so that I can complete my victory over the enemy so that none of them are left to gather and come back against me tomorrow.

01:13:07.040 --> 01:13:19.040
And the Bible says God heard this prayer of a man and the sun stood still for an entire 24 hours till the enemy was completely routed.

01:13:21.040 --> 01:13:28.040
If you were to follow how the solar system works, it should have spun the entire galaxy out of sync.

01:13:28.040 --> 01:13:29.040
It did not.

01:13:29.040 --> 01:13:36.040
This is why your marital status, my financial status, does not allow you to have a full life.

01:13:36.080 --> 01:13:43.080
Your marital status does not matter because this God is so ridiculously humongous that he can do anything he wants sometimes.

01:13:43.080 --> 01:13:45.080
Anything he wants.

01:13:45.080 --> 01:13:54.080
And so the sun stands still and it says in Joshua chapter 10 verse 13 or thereabouts, never has a man prayed something like this.

01:13:54.080 --> 01:13:57.080
Never has God done this before.

01:13:57.080 --> 01:14:01.080
But this is what I mean by when you begin to walk with God.

01:14:01.120 --> 01:14:04.120
You begin to have a degree of autonomy and a degree of permission that you have.

01:14:04.120 --> 01:14:16.120
To begin to try out things with God that God planned before the earth was founded but he's waiting for one man to show himself loyal and willing to take on the mind of God.

01:14:20.120 --> 01:14:22.120
Is this your expectation Jacob for Acts 29?

01:14:22.120 --> 01:14:26.120
It is God's expectation and I better align mine to his.

01:14:31.120 --> 01:14:32.120
Last couple of sentences.

01:14:32.120 --> 01:14:35.120
With permission will come promise.

01:14:35.120 --> 01:14:39.120
Whenever there's permission given, there is a promise given.

01:14:41.120 --> 01:14:44.120
Whenever there's permission given, there is a promise given.

01:14:44.120 --> 01:14:47.120
A promise is basically permission put into words.

01:14:47.120 --> 01:14:53.120
A promise is basically permission from God put into words.

01:14:56.120 --> 01:14:58.120
Genesis 28 verse 15.

01:14:58.160 --> 01:14:59.160
Jacob wakes up.

01:14:59.160 --> 01:15:01.160
He's been sleeping on a pillar.

01:15:01.160 --> 01:15:03.160
He's been sleeping on a stone.

01:15:03.160 --> 01:15:04.160
He wakes up.

01:15:04.160 --> 01:15:07.160
He says, this is the gateway of heaven.

01:15:07.160 --> 01:15:13.160
This is the house of God and that God gives him both permission but it's in the form of a promise.

01:15:13.160 --> 01:15:14.160
What does he say to Jacob?

01:15:14.160 --> 01:15:17.160
Jacob, here's what I'll do for you.

01:15:17.160 --> 01:15:19.160
I'll make sure that I watch over you.

01:15:19.160 --> 01:15:20.160
Take care of you.

01:15:20.160 --> 01:15:22.160
I'll be with you wherever you go.

01:15:22.160 --> 01:15:24.160
And here's what I guarantee.

01:15:24.160 --> 01:15:26.160
You will go different places and I'll bring you back.

01:15:26.200 --> 01:15:27.200
I'll bring you back.

01:15:27.200 --> 01:15:31.200
I'll bring you back through this land, back to the land of your fathers.

01:15:31.200 --> 01:15:33.200
Jacob had that promise.

01:15:33.200 --> 01:15:34.200
Then it didn't matter.

01:15:34.200 --> 01:15:36.200
It didn't matter whether he confronted Laban.

01:15:36.200 --> 01:15:38.200
It didn't matter that he confronted Abimelech.

01:15:38.200 --> 01:15:40.200
It didn't matter who he confronted.

01:15:40.200 --> 01:15:44.200
He had a promise and in that promise, permission was put into words.

01:15:44.200 --> 01:15:46.200
This is what I'm permitting.

01:15:46.200 --> 01:15:47.200
Here is the promise.

01:15:47.200 --> 01:15:48.200
I am faithful.

01:15:48.200 --> 01:15:49.200
I will watch over you.

01:15:49.200 --> 01:15:52.200
I will bring you back and take you back to the land of your fathers.

01:15:56.200 --> 01:15:59.200
And then with permission comes provision.

01:16:01.200 --> 01:16:05.200
You know why we are so scared to step into what God gives permission for?

01:16:05.200 --> 01:16:07.200
Because we are scared of provision.

01:16:08.200 --> 01:16:09.200
We are so scared of provision.

01:16:09.200 --> 01:16:11.200
I am so scared of provision.

01:16:11.200 --> 01:16:14.200
To step into things of God, we are so scared.

01:16:17.200 --> 01:16:19.200
We'll talk about the bride next week.

01:16:19.200 --> 01:16:23.200
What are we looking at?

01:16:23.240 --> 01:16:24.240
Looking at?

01:16:25.240 --> 01:16:32.240
We're looking at anointed bride in army boots on assignment.

01:16:32.240 --> 01:16:35.240
Now as we go down this road, it'll get clearer and clearer.

01:16:35.240 --> 01:16:38.240
Can we, can you just humor me and say it together?

01:16:39.240 --> 01:16:45.240
Anointed bride in army boots on assignment.

01:16:45.240 --> 01:16:46.240
One more time.

01:16:46.240 --> 01:16:51.240
Anointed bride in army boots on assignment.

01:16:51.280 --> 01:16:55.280
And it just be written on your heart, written on your head.

01:16:55.280 --> 01:16:59.280
One last time just to humor me because you didn't humor me throughout the last one hour.

01:16:59.280 --> 01:17:00.280
Anointed bride.

01:17:03.280 --> 01:17:06.280
If you could only be like this throughout the sermon.

01:17:07.280 --> 01:17:09.280
Okay, all good.

01:17:11.280 --> 01:17:13.280
I'm mic'd.

01:17:16.280 --> 01:17:19.280
Okay, so the kids have one more song to do.

01:17:21.240 --> 01:17:23.280
Thank you.
