I just got reminded that last year I had spoken 00:01:58.700 --> 00:02:05.700 for Pentecost Sunday and I wrapped up that message by saying between then and this Pentecost 00:02:05.700 --> 00:02:12.700 Sunday there will be fresh new births amongst us. One of the things I said as I heard it 00:02:12.700 --> 00:02:19.700 back is there will be people who come from different faiths who weren't born in Christian 00:02:20.700 --> 00:02:27.700 families who will receive him. And our friend got baptized two weeks ago and there are other 00:02:28.700 --> 00:02:34.700 lives that have been touched that I know of. They are not coming here for a special reason. 00:02:34.700 --> 00:02:39.700 They are not coming here for a Sunday service but through the people here lives affected. 00:02:39.700 --> 00:02:45.700 Through the people here, people from other faiths, people who were in the kingdom of 00:02:45.700 --> 00:02:52.700 darkness receiving Christ. And I look at our friend there and I say thank you because he 00:02:53.700 --> 00:03:00.700 is the firstborn so to speak of many more who is to come. If that was a shower there 00:03:00.700 --> 00:03:06.700 is a thunderstorm coming. I believe it. I wholeheartedly believe it. And it's not for 00:03:06.700 --> 00:03:12.700 the pews to be filled here. It's for lives to be affected. It is for lives to turn around. 00:03:12.700 --> 00:03:18.700 Some of them will come here. Some of them won't. Because this may not be the place for 00:03:18.700 --> 00:03:24.700 them to come into and be disciples but we may be influential in affecting their lives 00:03:24.700 --> 00:03:31.700 forever. Yeah? Does that excite you? I don't see it. Does that excite you? Because these 00:03:37.700 --> 00:03:44.700 are things that we shouldn't forget is happening amongst us. These are things that he speaks, 00:03:44.700 --> 00:03:50.700 he does and there is more coming. So it's like a shower as I said but there is a downpour 00:03:50.700 --> 00:03:56.700 coming. With the two churches that have been formed now in Revive 24 and the different 00:03:56.700 --> 00:04:02.700 things happening there is one thing that we aspire for in him that the world outside will 00:04:02.700 --> 00:04:08.700 come in. That the world outside will be touched. That we are a people that he put together 00:04:08.700 --> 00:04:15.700 in Vancouver for his purposes to be accomplished. Yeah? It should excite us. Sometimes when you write about these things or you think about these things out 00:04:22.580 --> 00:04:28.620 of you should burst out a laughter. Out of you should burst out something that cannot 00:04:28.620 --> 00:04:35.620 be explained in words but can only be expressed in sounds. It is important. Because on one hand the main purpose of the Holy Spirit amongst 00:04:51.980 --> 00:04:58.980 us is that he will conform us to the image of Jesus. That's the main purpose. But as 00:04:59.180 --> 00:05:06.180 he does that he also gets the world outside to come in. Yeah? So I want to as I was preparing 00:05:06.940 --> 00:05:13.940 for beginning to prepare for today and I did not know exactly which direction to go. I 00:05:14.100 --> 00:05:20.180 heard the Holy Spirit say the Spirit and the Bride. The Spirit and the Bride. As soon as 00:05:20.180 --> 00:05:26.140 he said it I knew he was pointing me to the last chapter of the Bible. So that's what 00:05:26.140 --> 00:05:33.140 we are going to read from first. The title for today is the Spirit and the Bride. The 00:05:33.580 --> 00:05:40.580 Spirit and the Bride. So can you read this? Revelation chapter 22 verse 17. Revelation 00:05:41.580 --> 00:05:48.580 chapter 22 verse 17. The Spirit and the Bride say come and let the one who hears say come 00:05:59.100 --> 00:06:06.100 and let the one who is thirsty come. Let the one who desires take the water of life without 00:06:06.940 --> 00:06:13.700 price. I am going to read that again. Revelation chapter 22 verse 17. Let the Spirit and the 00:06:13.700 --> 00:06:20.700 Bride say come and let the one who hears say come and let the one who is thirsty come. 00:06:23.700 --> 00:06:30.700 Let the one who desires take the water of life without price. Last chapter. Revelation 00:06:30.700 --> 00:06:37.700 chapter 22. See before we delve into it one of the things we need to touch on first is 00:06:40.300 --> 00:06:45.300 when you look at Luke chapter 2 there are two characters in the story of Jesus' birth 00:06:45.300 --> 00:06:52.300 that we should pay attention to. Simeon and Anna. They are important in the story because 00:06:53.300 --> 00:06:59.300 as soon as the story of Jesus' birth happens there are all of these characters in the story 00:06:59.300 --> 00:07:02.900 of Jesus' birth happens. There are all of these other characters that play that we see 00:07:02.900 --> 00:07:08.940 a lot of in skits and drama and stuff. But we don't necessarily talk about Simeon and 00:07:08.940 --> 00:07:15.940 Anna much. But they for me I really love those two people. I would have loved to meet them 00:07:17.780 --> 00:07:24.060 back in the day. You know why? Because they were given a promise. A promise that the Messiah 00:07:24.260 --> 00:07:29.460 is coming. And the same promise was given to many more of course. And these were words 00:07:29.460 --> 00:07:36.460 that they heard. Anna was a prophetess. Simeon was a devout man. And they heard the promise 00:07:38.600 --> 00:07:45.600 that the Messiah is coming. But here is what separated these two people from many others 00:07:46.840 --> 00:07:53.840 in Jerusalem. From many others from the Jewish community. These two were separated out because 00:07:54.000 --> 00:07:59.360 as soon as they heard the promise they began to shift their life and the focus of their 00:07:59.360 --> 00:08:06.360 life to just this one thing. You see this of Anna. That Anna who was a widow never left 00:08:06.960 --> 00:08:13.960 the temple. Wow. She never left the temple because her mind, her heart, her being was 00:08:16.160 --> 00:08:23.120 about one thing and one thing only. That there is a Messiah coming. That I am here because 00:08:23.120 --> 00:08:30.120 he has told me this and I will see the Messiah. She received the promise. She treasured it. 00:08:31.880 --> 00:08:38.680 She nurtured it and then she held the promise. You see Simeon he received a promise. The 00:08:38.680 --> 00:08:45.120 same promise that you will see the Messiah. What did he do? Same thing. It says that he 00:08:45.120 --> 00:08:52.120 was his heart longed for the consolation of Israel. The thing that is unique about these 00:08:52.320 --> 00:08:59.320 two people is that it wasn't a personal promise that they were trying to wait on. It was the 00:09:00.040 --> 00:09:07.040 promise that God gave to a people. That became their promise because they loved what God 00:09:07.680 --> 00:09:14.680 was about amongst that people. You following me? Yes. See when we get promises we get excited 00:09:15.680 --> 00:09:22.680 about the promises we get from God for our lives and rightfully so we must be. But can 00:09:22.680 --> 00:09:29.680 we be as excited and more for the promise that God has over Canada? Can we be as excited 00:09:30.160 --> 00:09:37.160 and more for the promise that God has over Jane? Can we be as excited and more for the 00:09:37.280 --> 00:09:44.280 promises that the Lord has over Vancouver? Because he is looking for a people like that. 00:09:45.680 --> 00:09:52.680 Far more excited than the prophecies we receive on our lives for us. Way more excited because 00:09:53.680 --> 00:10:00.680 he is about something and that's people and cities and nations. And our hearts align with 00:10:03.320 --> 00:10:10.320 his heart and we say come. So this is way beyond the story of our lives. Because the 00:10:11.040 --> 00:10:17.780 story of our lives is this. But as soon as we partake in the story of God, in the story 00:10:17.780 --> 00:10:24.780 and the narrative that he has for earth, for cities, now everything about our lives changed. 00:10:26.440 --> 00:10:32.280 Let's be a people like that who get far more excited about what he is doing on earth. Who 00:10:32.280 --> 00:10:38.340 get far more excited about his plans for Vancouver. Who get far more excited about everything 00:10:38.340 --> 00:10:45.340 he is doing in the rest of the world. That, those are the kind of people that he is after. 00:10:46.600 --> 00:10:52.640 He is interested in our personal lives. Of course he is everything that he says he is. 00:10:52.640 --> 00:10:59.240 But that is what he is looking for in a people. And when that happens, as a collective, things 00:10:59.240 --> 00:11:06.240 begin to shape. Things begin to move. Things begin to shake. Because it's unstoppable. 00:11:08.520 --> 00:11:14.920 See this is the desire of the Holy Spirit amongst us. That we become a people like this. 00:11:14.920 --> 00:11:21.360 That we are about his things. That while we depend on him for all of the things that we 00:11:21.360 --> 00:11:28.360 are about and all of the things that we need, we depend on him for what he is doing across 00:11:28.800 --> 00:11:35.040 the earth. So let's read that verse one other time please. So Revelation chapter 22 verse 00:11:35.040 --> 00:11:41.340 17, the Spirit and the bride say come and let the one who hears say come and let the 00:11:41.340 --> 00:11:48.340 one who is thirsty come. Let the one who desires take the water of life without price. So I 00:11:48.380 --> 00:11:55.380 want to divide this into two sections let's say. One is the Spirit and then the bride. 00:11:57.980 --> 00:12:04.260 So on that day when the disciples were huddled together, 120 of them in the upper room and 00:12:04.260 --> 00:12:11.260 as they were waiting the Holy Spirit came and filled them. And we've, if any of us who 00:12:13.560 --> 00:12:20.560 have received the Holy Spirit, we now have all of him in us. Yeah? All of him in us. 00:12:21.280 --> 00:12:27.060 The same filling that the disciples experienced in the upper room is the same filling that 00:12:27.060 --> 00:12:34.060 I have received that you have received. It's the same. But one of the things that happens 00:12:34.900 --> 00:12:41.140 in that upper room on that day was that the people who were huddled together as disciples 00:12:41.140 --> 00:12:48.140 now became part of the church. Until the arrival of the Holy Spirit and that day marked the 00:12:49.220 --> 00:12:56.220 arrival of the Holy Spirit. Until that day they were the disciples of Jesus. From that 00:12:57.100 --> 00:13:04.100 day on they became the church. See the bride and the spirit are inseparable. They are 00:13:04.260 --> 00:13:11.260 inseparable. The bride and the spirit are inseparable. You cannot separate the bride 00:13:13.400 --> 00:13:20.400 and the spirit. The spirit is about the bride. As the spirit came the bride was formed and 00:13:23.780 --> 00:13:30.780 we know after 2000 years we are part of that bride. Many rest in glory but we walk the 00:13:30.880 --> 00:13:37.880 earth today as part of the same bride. And as I go through this you have to see yourself 00:13:42.380 --> 00:13:49.380 as part of the bride of Jesus Christ. Where do you fit in? What is it that he has for 00:13:50.500 --> 00:13:57.500 you? And the people who were assembled that day, the 120, they were already in the church 00:13:57.500 --> 00:14:03.340 and the people who were assembled that day, the 120, they were ordinary people. Men, women, 00:14:03.340 --> 00:14:10.340 married, single, young, old, rich, poor. But the course of history changed that day. Everything 00:14:12.180 --> 00:14:19.180 changed that day and they became the first church. The band of disciples became the first 00:14:19.420 --> 00:14:26.420 church. See in the Old Testament the point person of the triune of the Holy Spirit was 00:14:27.500 --> 00:14:34.500 God the Father. During the days of Jesus Christ the point person was Jesus Christ. 00:14:38.460 --> 00:14:45.460 So for anyone on earth who was interacting with God they had Jesus Christ. And in the 00:14:46.080 --> 00:14:52.780 days of the church today, the days that we occupy, the point person of the triune God 00:14:52.780 --> 00:14:59.780 on earth is the Holy Spirit. He is the point person of the triune God. One of the things 00:15:00.660 --> 00:15:05.500 I remember I was thinking about last year was that how much time do I spend talking 00:15:05.500 --> 00:15:11.540 to the Father? How much time do I spend talking to the Son Jesus? How much time do I spend 00:15:11.540 --> 00:15:18.300 talking to the Holy Spirit? And for me when I thought through that last year I found out 00:15:18.300 --> 00:15:24.020 that I don't talk with the Holy Spirit much. I like conversations with the Father. I like 00:15:24.020 --> 00:15:30.300 conversations with Jesus. But I don't talk to the Holy Spirit as much. But the point 00:15:30.300 --> 00:15:36.900 person for you and me here on earth today, for the church today is the Holy Spirit. And 00:15:36.900 --> 00:15:43.900 so if we can begin to think, yes, you being the point person for us, Holy Spirit, I want 00:15:44.900 --> 00:15:51.780 to change my relationship with you. I want my relationship with you to be radically changed. 00:15:51.780 --> 00:15:58.780 That by the time I come here next year, same Pentecost day, as a church we will be in such 00:15:59.020 --> 00:16:06.020 a different space because we have known him better. That we know who the Holy Spirit is 00:16:07.020 --> 00:16:14.020 more than we ever knew him. That is his desire. That we understand the emotions that the Holy 00:16:17.460 --> 00:16:24.460 Spirit has. He's a person. We know how he talks. We know how he reacts, how he responds. 00:16:25.460 --> 00:16:32.460 We know what brings pleasure to him. We know what grieves him. And it becomes not just 00:16:32.860 --> 00:16:38.100 a thing that's happening with one person and two people. It becomes something that's 00:16:38.100 --> 00:16:43.700 happening collectively in us. To a point where we become what we always say the community 00:16:43.700 --> 00:16:50.700 of the Spirit. The church is the community of the Spirit. The church and the bride, they're 00:16:51.660 --> 00:16:58.660 inseparable. So can you even as I'm talking, think of this, Aba, next time Pentecost Sunday, 00:16:59.660 --> 00:17:06.660 when we come, can I be, I want to be at a place where I know the Holy Spirit so much 00:17:09.500 --> 00:17:16.500 more than I know him today. See we can do that with relationships here, right? If I 00:17:17.340 --> 00:17:22.140 choose to say, Tuni, I want to know between now and the end of next year, I want to know 00:17:22.140 --> 00:17:26.820 you so much better man. Like I want to know what you like, what you don't like. I know 00:17:26.900 --> 00:17:31.940 you don't like city. I know different things like that. But if I know these things and 00:17:31.940 --> 00:17:37.540 I say I want more, I need to, I need to know you better, then it can absolutely happen 00:17:37.540 --> 00:17:43.060 with earthly relationships. How much more when the Holy Spirit, the same Holy Spirit 00:17:43.060 --> 00:17:47.700 who was hovering over the earth, that's okay, the same Holy Spirit who was hovering over 00:17:47.700 --> 00:17:53.100 the earth, when he is hovering over you and me while he is inside me, when he is hovering 00:17:53.140 --> 00:17:59.500 over us with this desire, how much more can it happen? Man, this is how he transforms 00:17:59.500 --> 00:18:06.500 communities. This is how he transforms churches and he wants this for us, that next year, 00:18:07.220 --> 00:18:13.500 Pentecost Sunday, we will be a completely different people because we walked our days, 00:18:13.500 --> 00:18:18.700 we walked our weeks, our months differently than before. Then when we said as a people 00:18:18.780 --> 00:18:24.620 we are interested, Holy Spirit, in knowing you, in pursuing you, in being so intimate 00:18:24.620 --> 00:18:31.040 with you that our lives begin to change. The way I talk begins to change. Everything about 00:18:31.040 --> 00:18:38.040 me begins to change. Everything about you begins to change. And then as we come, see 00:18:38.040 --> 00:18:44.300 it will be so much more easier for the worship guys because they will never have to stir 00:18:44.460 --> 00:18:51.460 us up to sing. We should give them a run for their money when it comes to worship. We don't 00:18:58.300 --> 00:19:05.300 need them. Seriously. See, these things are important because it changes the way we as 00:19:06.820 --> 00:19:13.820 a church operate. That when we see Jane or Toonie or Vidish or anyone up here, we are 00:19:14.580 --> 00:19:21.260 we don't think of them as worship leaders or music leaders or whatever that is. We look 00:19:21.260 --> 00:19:25.920 at them and we say, yes, you lead us in worship, but I am not behind you. I am here because 00:19:25.920 --> 00:19:31.780 his spirit is in me. His spirit and I are one and I worship my Lord. I worship my savior. 00:19:31.780 --> 00:19:36.000 I don't need your encouragement to worship him. I'm not waiting for you to say, now let's 00:19:36.000 --> 00:19:41.060 do it and now let's do that because inside me is the Holy Spirit who is always communing 00:19:41.060 --> 00:19:47.500 with the father and who always wants to exalt the son. And I submit when I submit to his 00:19:47.500 --> 00:19:53.620 desires, then worship becomes so much easier and they don't need to do that job to encourage 00:19:53.620 --> 00:19:59.820 us to worship because we then say, let's go. It's important in the life of this church. 00:19:59.820 --> 00:20:06.820 I tell you, this is so important. Never again should be. And I understand there are days 00:20:06.820 --> 00:20:12.820 when you don't feel as good or whatever. If anyone says you don't have days like that, 00:20:12.820 --> 00:20:18.820 they're lying. So there are days like that. During times like that, lean in on the next 00:20:18.820 --> 00:20:24.820 person next to you because they'll take you from where you are at to the next place. But 00:20:24.820 --> 00:20:30.820 it cannot be a tendency and a habit. I had no idea I was going to say this, so I don't 00:20:30.820 --> 00:20:36.820 know why I'm saying this now. There should be no room for us to rely on them to lead 00:20:36.820 --> 00:20:42.820 us in worship. We are being led through them because God placed them there, but we're not 00:20:42.820 --> 00:20:48.820 waiting for their cue to say, no, let's go. Out of this place should come up songs. And 00:20:48.820 --> 00:20:54.820 it happens occasionally, I know. But it can happen more because again, we are the community 00:20:54.820 --> 00:21:00.820 of the spirit. See, when we become a people like that, not just once every six months or 00:21:00.820 --> 00:21:06.820 once every five weeks, when this becomes the way we are as a church, it begins to change 00:21:06.820 --> 00:21:12.820 things in the spiritual atmosphere. This is what he desires of us, that we increasingly 00:21:12.820 --> 00:21:18.820 become a people like that. And I think that's the most important thing. I think that's the 00:21:18.820 --> 00:21:24.820 most important thing. This is what he desires of us, that we increasingly become a people 00:21:24.820 --> 00:21:30.820 like this. Yeah? Because the thing is, if I decide that I will not settle, then I will not 00:21:30.820 --> 00:21:36.820 settle. If you decide, even as I speak, that you will never allow that to happen, that 00:21:36.820 --> 00:21:42.820 whenever you step into this place, you're not waiting for someone to spur you up so you 00:21:42.820 --> 00:21:48.820 can speak and shout and sing, that you're waiting for no one. You're here and you're 00:21:48.820 --> 00:21:54.820 as excited as anyone else because in you is the Holy Spirit. And you want everything in 00:21:54.820 --> 00:22:00.820 terms of honor to be given to Jesus, in terms of your love for the Father to be expressed, 00:22:00.820 --> 00:22:06.820 in terms of what he wants in the city to be done. As these things happen, as we sing, as 00:22:07.820 --> 00:22:13.820 we think, as we talk, everything in you rises up because it is your rightful inheritance to be 00:22:13.820 --> 00:22:19.820 one like that. Because if I choose to say this is for all of you guys and I say let me 00:22:19.820 --> 00:22:25.820 settle back because I'm different, then I am losing what has been rightfully given to me. Why 00:22:25.820 --> 00:22:31.820 do that? Press in. If there is one guy who cannot sing, that's me. I tell you. Even when I was 00:22:32.820 --> 00:22:38.820 growing up, my mom and Don would make fun of me. I would sing with my eyes closed and then I 00:22:38.820 --> 00:22:44.820 opened and they were laughing at me. It's true life stories. I can't sing. Today while I was 00:22:44.820 --> 00:22:50.820 singing, I got something wrong and so Iris touched me because she was like, that's not the 00:22:50.820 --> 00:22:56.820 lyrics. But I really don't care. So I can't sing. So it doesn't give any of you any 00:22:56.820 --> 00:23:02.820 excuse. If we can be like this guys, next Sunday, remember, all in. Everything in you. And 00:23:08.820 --> 00:23:14.820 maybe I have no idea why we are going this way, but I think it's important for us as a 00:23:14.820 --> 00:23:20.820 people. And if there is anyone here who thinks that, you know what, it's not about sound, you 00:23:20.820 --> 00:23:26.820 know what, it's not about what you express on the outside, you know what, it's not about 00:23:30.820 --> 00:23:36.820 lifting up of my hands, you're wrong. It is about all of these things too. If I tell Iris, 00:23:38.820 --> 00:23:44.820 you know what, I really like you, but when it comes to talking about you, I won't have any 00:23:44.820 --> 00:23:50.820 excuse. That would be absurd. Wouldn't it be absurd? So these things matter. When it comes to 00:23:54.820 --> 00:24:00.820 things of God, we must be different. And the thing is, this thing spreads. So when I am a certain 00:24:02.820 --> 00:24:08.820 way, the person next to you will be affected. When Mark is a certain way, Emmanuel will be affected. 00:24:14.820 --> 00:24:20.820 So let's move on from there. So the point person for us today on Earth, 00:24:26.820 --> 00:24:32.820 the point person of the triune God is the Holy Spirit. So when you read through the 00:24:34.820 --> 00:24:40.820 books of the Bible, you see this. Genesis chapter 1, the first reference for the Holy Spirit, it says 00:24:40.820 --> 00:24:46.820 the Holy Spirit was hovering over the waters. And then different stories, one after the other, you see 00:24:48.820 --> 00:24:52.820 reference to the Spirit of God. One of the references, if I am to pick up from 00:24:52.820 --> 00:25:00.820 Judges chapter 4 or so, or 14, I have to check, Samson. What happens? It says there was a lion 00:25:02.820 --> 00:25:08.820 coming at him and the Spirit of God rushed upon him. The Spirit of God rushed upon him and he took the lion 00:25:10.820 --> 00:25:16.820 and tore it into pieces. You then see Saul, who is anointed. And it says, in 00:25:18.820 --> 00:25:24.820 1 Samuel, it says that when the prophets from a particular place came and they saw Saul, 00:25:26.820 --> 00:25:32.820 he jumped in with them. He started prophesying because the Spirit of the Lord was upon him. 00:25:32.820 --> 00:25:38.820 And it says the Spirit of the Lord rushed upon him. So you begin to see these instances in the 00:25:40.820 --> 00:25:46.820 Bible where people were overpowered by the Spirit to accomplish certain things on Earth. 00:25:48.820 --> 00:25:54.820 You see David, you should listen to the David part. It's different in the way it's written. 00:25:54.820 --> 00:26:02.820 1 Samuel chapter 16, it says, and the Spirit of the Lord, and this is when David was being anointed, 00:26:02.820 --> 00:26:08.820 the Spirit of the Lord rushed upon David from that day forward. So it was not a one-time thing. 00:26:08.820 --> 00:26:14.820 It happened over and over again with David. And the Spirit of the Lord rushed upon David from that day 00:26:16.820 --> 00:26:22.820 forward. And then in the book of Isaiah, you see prophecies. 00:26:38.820 --> 00:26:46.820 And then you get to Jesus's story and Jesus is being baptized. It's a beautiful picture because 00:26:46.820 --> 00:26:52.820 that's one of the instances in the Bible where you see the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit all in the same frame. 00:26:52.820 --> 00:27:00.820 If you take a picture, you see all three of them in the same frame at that very time because as Jesus comes out of the water, 00:27:00.820 --> 00:27:08.820 the Son of the Living God, the Father speaks, in you I am well pleased. And at the same time you see the Spirit of God 00:27:08.820 --> 00:27:18.820 coming down like a dove. But I want us to focus on one thing there. It says now that the Spirit of the Spirit of God, 00:27:18.820 --> 00:27:28.820 the Holy Spirit descended in the form of a dove and it rested, and he rested on Jesus. Here is how I understand it. I have the fullness of the Spirit. In that very instant, my sonship with him was restored. 00:29:19.820 --> 00:29:29.820 So the Spirit of God is given to me and to you to change us. And he is with us. You remember that? 00:38:04.820 --> 00:38:09.820 When you're too busy, your heart is not formed. 00:38:09.820 --> 00:38:14.820 See, with the Holy Spirit, when I engage with him, when I know him, 00:38:14.820 --> 00:38:21.820 as I spend time with him, as I appreciate his presence on my life, 00:38:21.820 --> 00:38:27.820 as I understand his desires, one of the things that will change is, 00:38:27.820 --> 00:38:32.820 you'll find that other people will receive from you like never before, 00:38:32.820 --> 00:38:35.820 because you're carrying the weight of his presence, 00:38:35.820 --> 00:38:39.820 and you're so mindful of it that others can draw from it. 00:38:39.820 --> 00:38:49.820 This is why Jesus says, out of you will flow rivers of living waters. 00:38:49.820 --> 00:38:54.820 So again, we have time to change. We have time to learn, make mistakes, 00:38:54.820 --> 00:39:00.820 stand up again, and do this, because if we commit our lives to this, 00:39:00.820 --> 00:39:04.820 and that's the thing, if this is not a Sunday thing that we heard on a Pentecost Sunday, 00:39:04.820 --> 00:39:09.820 but if you and I commit our lives to this, we will be so different, 00:39:09.820 --> 00:39:15.820 that the next generation, who will soon be 10 years, 12 years old, 00:39:15.820 --> 00:39:21.820 they will look at this bunch, and we will have a godly inheritance to leave for them, 00:39:21.820 --> 00:39:26.820 because the stories that they're going to hear will be very different. 00:39:26.820 --> 00:39:30.820 Because by the time they are 12, they will know what it is to live, 00:39:30.820 --> 00:39:35.820 not just having the Holy Spirit inside you, but also carrying the weight of his presence, 00:39:35.820 --> 00:39:40.820 like Jesus did. 00:39:40.820 --> 00:39:49.820 This will change.
