00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:05.000
Welcome back to the millions listening online.

00:00:05.000 --> 00:00:10.000
All righty.

00:00:27.000 --> 00:00:32.000
Who will go for us?

00:00:35.000 --> 00:00:40.000
Do do do do

00:00:45.000 --> 00:00:50.000
Pardon? Yeah.

00:00:50.000 --> 00:00:55.000
Thanks. That's good. Yeah.

00:00:55.000 --> 00:01:00.000
I forgot today. Yeah.

00:01:00.000 --> 00:01:05.000
Okay guys, let's go.

00:01:05.000 --> 00:01:10.000
So the title for today's teaching is the Judah anointing.

00:01:10.000 --> 00:01:15.000
The Judah anointing. That's what it's called.

00:01:15.000 --> 00:01:20.000
I'm sure many have spoken about titles like this, but

00:01:20.000 --> 00:01:25.000
just felt that that's what we need to call it.

00:01:25.000 --> 00:01:30.000
And I'm hoping that every teaching that's brought to you

00:01:30.000 --> 00:01:35.000
is what God desires for us that week.

00:01:35.000 --> 00:01:40.000
So let's go with that. So the Judah anointing.

00:01:40.000 --> 00:01:45.000
An anointing is the power of the spirit or the presence of the life of the spirit

00:01:45.000 --> 00:01:50.000
that is given to a person or a group of people at any particular time

00:01:50.000 --> 00:01:55.000
to accomplish a certain God purpose. That's what an anointing is.

00:01:55.000 --> 00:02:00.000
An anointing is the presence, power,

00:02:00.000 --> 00:02:05.000
life of the Holy Spirit

00:02:05.000 --> 00:02:10.000
that is made available

00:02:10.000 --> 00:02:15.000
available to

00:02:15.000 --> 00:02:20.000
available to a person,

00:02:20.000 --> 00:02:25.000
people at

00:02:25.000 --> 00:02:30.000
a particular time

00:02:30.000 --> 00:02:35.000
to accomplish a specific

00:02:35.000 --> 00:02:40.000
God purpose.

00:02:45.000 --> 00:02:50.000
So whenever we then take words like Judah

00:02:50.000 --> 00:02:55.000
and put it before anointing, all we mean is this is the kind of

00:02:55.000 --> 00:03:00.000
power, presence, life of the spirit that was upon a certain event

00:03:00.000 --> 00:03:05.000
or a certain person or a certain people group in the Bible.

00:03:05.000 --> 00:03:10.000
And so when the Holy Spirit is going to do the same thing with us, this is what's going to happen.

00:03:10.000 --> 00:03:15.000
That's the sense of it.

00:03:15.000 --> 00:03:20.000
So that's how one can define an anointing.

00:03:20.000 --> 00:03:25.000
And so here's the other thing then. I forgot to bring my other gadget

00:03:25.000 --> 00:03:30.000
so we'll just have to keep writing like the good old days.

00:03:30.000 --> 00:03:35.000
Here's the other thing that if the Holy Spirit wants to do this in our midst, if the Holy Spirit wants

00:03:35.000 --> 00:03:40.000
to empower us this way, then an anointing

00:03:40.000 --> 00:03:45.000
falls on a people, an anointing falls on a people

00:03:45.000 --> 00:03:50.000
when they are able to hear

00:03:50.000 --> 00:03:55.000
and receive, when they are able to hear

00:03:55.000 --> 00:04:00.000
and receive, and when they are willing to allow

00:04:00.000 --> 00:04:05.000
the word to shape them.

00:04:05.000 --> 00:04:10.000
These are some of the things that we don't necessarily

00:04:10.000 --> 00:04:15.000
realize that just because the presence of God is in a place and he has an intent or a purpose

00:04:15.000 --> 00:04:20.000
doesn't mean that you act, you just naturally get

00:04:20.000 --> 00:04:25.000
encompassed by it. If the presence of God is in a place and there are

00:04:25.000 --> 00:04:30.000
words that are being spoken by him to accomplish a purpose, it is required of me to first

00:04:30.000 --> 00:04:35.000
hear and receive. After hearing and receiving it, I have to allow the word that

00:04:35.000 --> 00:04:40.000
is being sent to shape me. How do I allow the word that is sent to shape me?

00:04:40.000 --> 00:04:45.000
It is by, one,

00:04:45.000 --> 00:04:50.000
desire for what is being said, two,

00:04:50.000 --> 00:04:55.000
conviction and repentance, and repentance here is not sin, it is changing my mind.

00:04:55.000 --> 00:05:00.000
That's what I mean by repentance. And three,

00:05:00.000 --> 00:05:05.000
a hunger,

00:05:05.000 --> 00:05:10.000
a hungry response. So these are the things

00:05:10.000 --> 00:05:15.000
that allow the word that is being spoken to shape me. So you and I have

00:05:15.000 --> 00:05:20.000
had this experience where we are sitting in a place and someone is speaking and the person doesn't need

00:05:20.000 --> 00:05:25.000
to have oratorial skills, can be really monotonous speaking and yet

00:05:25.000 --> 00:05:30.000
something begins to trigger inside. Why? Because we are hearing and receiving what

00:05:30.000 --> 00:05:35.000
is being spoken and we suddenly recognize it's God. Second, we allow the word to begin to shape us.

00:05:35.000 --> 00:05:40.000
And as it begins to shape us, desire gets ignited in our hearts and

00:05:40.000 --> 00:05:45.000
conviction takes over as in, I've got a change in this area. I have to change my way of thinking.

00:05:45.000 --> 00:05:50.000
And then as that happens, there's a hungry response. Because desire and hungry response are two things.

00:05:50.000 --> 00:05:55.000
Desire is wanting something, hungry response is responding to what we want now that it's

00:05:55.000 --> 00:06:00.000
being given. So these are the things that are necessary if we are to walk in this

00:06:00.000 --> 00:06:05.000
thing called the Judah anointing, which I'm assuming is something that we need to hear today.

00:06:05.000 --> 00:06:10.000
Any questions? This is how it works with any anointing.

00:06:10.000 --> 00:06:15.000
Any questions?

00:06:15.000 --> 00:06:20.000
So as I'm speaking, I'm trying to listen so that I also walk in this.

00:06:20.000 --> 00:06:25.000
Because if I don't listen to the words that I'm speaking, then again I end up in the same place.

00:06:25.000 --> 00:06:30.000
I have to be shaped by it too.

00:06:30.000 --> 00:06:35.000
Any questions, friends?

00:06:35.000 --> 00:06:40.000
Cool.

00:06:40.000 --> 00:06:45.000
In which case, let's now

00:06:45.000 --> 00:06:50.000
kind of define what the Judah anointing is. The Judah anointing is a forerunner anointing.

00:06:50.000 --> 00:06:55.000
The Judah anointing is a forerunner anointing.

00:06:55.000 --> 00:07:00.000
A forerunner anointing.

00:07:00.000 --> 00:07:05.000
As in, it's what goes ahead. Another word for it could be

00:07:05.000 --> 00:07:10.000
advance guard.

00:07:10.000 --> 00:07:15.000
So it's a forerunner anointing or an advance guard.

00:07:15.000 --> 00:07:20.000
People that walk under this, it becomes their life work, it becomes their lifestyle.

00:07:20.000 --> 00:07:25.000
That's who they become.

00:07:25.000 --> 00:07:30.000
If you go to Hebrews 6 20,

00:07:30.000 --> 00:07:35.000
you'll see that this was very much a part of who Jesus was.

00:07:35.000 --> 00:07:40.000
Hebrews 6 20.

00:07:40.000 --> 00:07:45.000
So in Hebrews 6 19 onwards,

00:07:45.000 --> 00:07:50.000
one more time.

00:07:50.000 --> 00:07:55.000
One more time.

00:07:55.000 --> 00:08:00.000
One more time.

00:08:00.000 --> 00:08:05.000
So it's a forerunner anointing.

00:08:05.000 --> 00:08:10.000
It runs before others.

00:08:10.000 --> 00:08:15.000
It is an advance guard.

00:08:15.000 --> 00:08:20.000
It is a group that goes in advance of the rest.

00:08:20.000 --> 00:08:25.000
That's the sense of it.

00:08:25.000 --> 00:08:30.000
One of the first things that was spoken over this church by Eddie, October 5, 2008,

00:08:30.000 --> 00:08:35.000
was, guys, this church has a forerunner anointing.

00:08:35.000 --> 00:08:40.000
This church has a forerunner anointing. You are like Judah that is on the forefront.

00:08:40.000 --> 00:08:45.000
That was something that was spoken in 2008.

00:08:45.000 --> 00:08:50.000
And so it's very natural for us to behave like this.

00:08:50.000 --> 00:08:55.000
So all we are doing is revisiting something that was spoken over us 13 years ago.

00:08:55.000 --> 00:09:00.000
Almost to the month.

00:09:00.000 --> 00:09:05.000
So what happens with this forerunner anointing

00:09:05.000 --> 00:09:10.000
is your entrance, your entrance, opens the way

00:09:10.000 --> 00:09:15.000
for others to follow. Your entrance opens the way

00:09:15.000 --> 00:09:20.000
for others to follow.

00:09:20.000 --> 00:09:25.000
Your entrance opens the way for others to follow.

00:09:25.000 --> 00:09:30.000
God sends you ahead. And He's done this with so many people.

00:09:30.000 --> 00:09:35.000
He sends Joseph ahead of the famine so that fledgling Israel,

00:09:35.000 --> 00:09:40.000
as in Jacob and his 12 sons, do not die. He sends Joseph ahead.

00:09:40.000 --> 00:09:45.000
Jesus is sent ahead so the rest of us can go in.

00:09:45.000 --> 00:09:50.000
Paul is sent to the Gentiles so the rest of us can follow.

00:09:50.000 --> 00:09:55.000
This is what an anointing looks like. Your entrance opens the way for others to follow.

00:09:55.000 --> 00:10:00.000
This is why you need an anointing because the anointing is a supernatural ability

00:10:00.000 --> 00:10:05.000
that the Holy Spirit gives through His presence, His power and His life

00:10:05.000 --> 00:10:10.000
so that a particular purpose that God has in mind can be accomplished on Earth

00:10:10.000 --> 00:10:15.000
through an individual, through a group of people, because the Spirit of God empowers you.

00:10:15.000 --> 00:10:20.000
Otherwise you can't do this. This is way too tough. Joseph would have never survived.

00:10:20.000 --> 00:10:25.000
He gets betrayed by his brothers and his dad and mom

00:10:25.000 --> 00:10:30.000
turn their back on him. He gets sold as a slave. He gets falsely accused.

00:10:30.000 --> 00:10:35.000
He's thrown into prison. Nobody survives things like this if you do not have the power of God present on you.

00:10:35.000 --> 00:10:40.000
You just don't survive. And so this is why it's so important that

00:10:40.000 --> 00:10:45.000
if people actually carry the power, the presence and the life of God upon a people

00:10:45.000 --> 00:10:50.000
then they are able to do this. Then they laugh and do this. They don't even feel like

00:10:50.000 --> 00:10:55.000
oh, suffering for the Lord, no.

00:11:00.000 --> 00:11:05.000
Okay, so let's look at what people who carry this anointing behave like.

00:11:05.000 --> 00:11:10.000
What's their conduct like? So the first one is that

00:11:10.000 --> 00:11:15.000
these are people that are anointed this way. They enter behind the curtain.

00:11:15.000 --> 00:11:20.000
Hebrews 6.20, we just read it. They enter behind the curtain.

00:11:20.000 --> 00:11:25.000
As in they are not people who are

00:11:25.000 --> 00:11:30.000
satisfied with a visitation

00:11:30.000 --> 00:11:35.000
from God on Sunday. With a visitation from God

00:11:35.000 --> 00:11:40.000
on Sunday. They

00:11:40.000 --> 00:11:45.000
know what it is to enter behind the curtain.

00:11:45.000 --> 00:11:50.000
We are talking about the curtain in the temple which no longer exists but the idea is

00:11:50.000 --> 00:11:55.000
you enter behind the curtain and you live in presence. You are beginning to learn how to live

00:11:55.000 --> 00:12:00.000
in his presence and you find that you are more aware of him

00:12:00.000 --> 00:12:05.000
than you've ever been and it comes because you've learned how to first

00:12:05.000 --> 00:12:10.000
delight and then discipline yourself to

00:12:10.000 --> 00:12:15.000
enter and stay.

00:12:15.000 --> 00:12:20.000
Joshua

00:12:20.000 --> 00:12:25.000
was like this in Exodus 33

00:12:25.000 --> 00:12:30.000
verse 14. Moses would go to the tent of meeting and he would meet God there and

00:12:30.000 --> 00:12:35.000
Joshua would enter with him but after Moses would leave, Joshua would still

00:12:35.000 --> 00:12:40.000
stand just awed at the glory of God

00:12:40.000 --> 00:12:45.000
that was present in the tent and he would just stay there. He wouldn't leave.

00:12:45.000 --> 00:12:50.000
One of the first things that should happen to people who are walking under this

00:12:50.000 --> 00:12:55.000
anointing and I really believe that we are people like that just because God destined us and

00:12:55.000 --> 00:13:00.000
invited us in different churches of different characteristics but anyone who comes into this

00:13:00.000 --> 00:13:05.000
place will carry this. One of the things we can do to help God accomplish

00:13:05.000 --> 00:13:10.000
what he wants here on earth through us is to learn how not to be satisfied with a visitation

00:13:10.000 --> 00:13:15.000
from God on Sunday. Just refuse it. You should

00:13:15.000 --> 00:13:20.000
One of the prayers I was praying I think in New York or LA was, Oh God

00:13:20.000 --> 00:13:25.000
can you just make me aware when I haven't missed you?

00:13:25.000 --> 00:13:30.000
Can you just knock on my door and say you haven't missed me for the last four hours

00:13:30.000 --> 00:13:35.000
where he's absent and you don't even know it

00:13:35.000 --> 00:13:40.000
because life is just fine without him

00:13:40.000 --> 00:13:45.000
and yet people in love, my God, if you can't smell a perfume you panic

00:13:45.000 --> 00:13:50.000
and yet we can go

00:13:50.000 --> 00:13:55.000
without a whiff of his aroma for hours on end and not even realize that

00:13:55.000 --> 00:14:00.000
he's present and you are missing. So I was telling the Lord, Father, could you just

00:14:00.000 --> 00:14:05.000
remind me when I don't even realize you're not around for three, four hours

00:14:05.000 --> 00:14:10.000
as in cough or do something.

00:14:10.000 --> 00:14:15.000
So

00:14:15.000 --> 00:14:20.000
I was in South Africa

00:14:20.000 --> 00:14:25.000
I was in South Africa, this lady kept saying this and it just bothered me a lot

00:14:25.000 --> 00:14:30.000
she said when giraffes cough they go behind a bush

00:14:30.000 --> 00:14:35.000
and I'm thinking to myself, really? I'm in this safari in a bush in South Africa

00:14:35.000 --> 00:14:40.000
and I'm saying really? And she said yeah, whenever they cough they go behind a bush

00:14:40.000 --> 00:14:45.000
and I'm thinking of this giraffe with a long neck going behind a bush, coughing and coming out

00:14:45.000 --> 00:14:50.000
and then I realized that she was pronouncing the word C-A-L-F

00:14:50.000 --> 00:14:55.000
as cough. Yeah, so

00:14:55.000 --> 00:15:00.000
when giraffes cough they go behind the bush, so that's understandable but somehow

00:15:00.000 --> 00:15:05.000
I mean I don't even cover my mouth sometimes when I cough

00:15:05.000 --> 00:15:10.000
till COVID began but giraffes going off into the bush to cough

00:15:10.000 --> 00:15:15.000
Yeah, it took a while, I actually went and asked Eddie, Eddie is that true? Giraffes go behind

00:15:15.000 --> 00:15:20.000
the bush when they cough and then that's when I realized what was happening.

00:15:20.000 --> 00:15:25.000
So you learn to live in its presence

00:15:25.000 --> 00:15:30.000
this is a characteristic of a Judah people

00:15:30.000 --> 00:15:35.000
of a people who walk in the Judah anointing and the way to live in its

00:15:35.000 --> 00:15:40.000
presence is delight and then discipline. The way to live in its presence is first

00:15:40.000 --> 00:15:45.000
delight and then discipline. Both are important, those that only

00:15:45.000 --> 00:15:50.000
hone in on delight there will be days when they are not very delighted and so there will be no presence

00:15:50.000 --> 00:15:55.000
and then there are those that are disciplined and with the discipline thing they stand in

00:15:55.000 --> 00:16:00.000
God's presence but can never engage his heart

00:16:00.000 --> 00:16:05.000
It's delight and discipline, that's how you enter and stay

00:16:05.000 --> 00:16:10.000
It's a great place to be, this is, I know you

00:16:10.000 --> 00:16:15.000
know this but it's a good idea to visit again. The next one

00:16:15.000 --> 00:16:20.000
The next one is once with the Judah anointing

00:16:20.000 --> 00:16:25.000
carry the arc on their shoulders, they carry

00:16:25.000 --> 00:16:30.000
the arc on their shoulders, I'll explain that

00:16:30.000 --> 00:16:35.000
If Rosalind was here she would say, could you use another pen please?

00:16:35.000 --> 00:16:40.000
So

00:16:40.000 --> 00:16:45.000
So people who carry a Judah anointing carry the arc

00:16:45.000 --> 00:16:50.000
of God on their shoulders because in the Old Testament whenever they carried the arc they would

00:16:50.000 --> 00:16:55.000
carry it on their shoulders and guys there's something called

00:16:55.000 --> 00:17:00.000
even though God is father and elder brother and friend there is something

00:17:00.000 --> 00:17:05.000
called relational protocol as in hey Jacob there's a way

00:17:05.000 --> 00:17:10.000
that I expect you to relate and

00:17:10.000 --> 00:17:15.000
conduct yourself vertically and horizontally

00:17:15.000 --> 00:17:20.000
with people, vertically with me, horizontally with people and if this is

00:17:20.000 --> 00:17:25.000
missing in your life you will mess up because there are certain ways I want you to do

00:17:25.000 --> 00:17:30.000
things so you cannot for instance, one person cannot carry the arc

00:17:30.000 --> 00:17:35.000
one person could not carry the arc, it was at least a minimum of four people

00:17:35.000 --> 00:17:40.000
they had to carry it on their shoulders

00:17:40.000 --> 00:17:45.000
they had to be in the front of the line

00:17:45.000 --> 00:17:50.000
it was the first thing that went ahead of Israel, it was first it had to be carried on the

00:17:50.000 --> 00:17:55.000
shoulders, it could not be one person it had to be four, there was this idea

00:17:55.000 --> 00:18:00.000
of vertical and horizontal protocol as in there's a way

00:18:00.000 --> 00:18:05.000
you have to behave with me God and there is a way you have to behave with people around you

00:18:05.000 --> 00:18:10.000
all to say that once that walk in this Judah anointing

00:18:10.000 --> 00:18:15.000
the way you

00:18:15.000 --> 00:18:20.000
you have to be God dependent and

00:18:20.000 --> 00:18:25.000
body reliant, God dependent and body reliant

00:18:25.000 --> 00:18:30.000
you have to be God dependent and body reliant and if this isn't part of

00:18:30.000 --> 00:18:35.000
who you are then you never, hey we have friends of yours

00:18:35.000 --> 00:18:40.000
here, these were the guys I was telling you about

00:18:40.000 --> 00:18:45.000
there's Tony, good to see you

00:18:45.000 --> 00:18:50.000
hardly any applause

00:18:50.000 --> 00:18:55.000
I hope you feel welcome

00:18:55.000 --> 00:19:00.000
yeah, so you have to be God dependent and body reliant

00:19:00.000 --> 00:19:05.000
the point I'm trying to make is this, it is impossible to walk in the Judah anointing as long as I am operating as a maverick

00:19:05.000 --> 00:19:10.000
or I'm operating as a leader or I'm operating as a pastor without a dependence on you

00:19:10.000 --> 00:19:15.000
I will not have the authority required to do anything here on earth if I walk that way

00:19:15.000 --> 00:19:20.000
Judah was not a person, yes there was a person called Judah who was the son of Jacob

00:19:20.000 --> 00:19:25.000
this was a tribe and the tribe was anointed

00:19:25.000 --> 00:19:30.000
when Moses prophesied on the tribe of Judah he's talking about a people

00:19:30.000 --> 00:19:35.000
one of the first things God requires of them is listen you will carry the ark but you will carry the ark on your shoulders

00:19:35.000 --> 00:19:40.000
you will not carry it alone, you will carry it with others and if you do I will give you the kind of authority that no other tribe has

00:19:40.000 --> 00:19:45.000
it is the kind of authority you see reflected in Revelation 2 verse 26 and 27

00:19:45.000 --> 00:19:50.000
listen I'll give you the scepter so that you can wield it with authority over the nations

00:19:50.000 --> 00:19:55.000
if you go to Deuteronomy 33 or Genesis 48 what does it say about Judah

00:19:55.000 --> 00:20:00.000
the scepter will never depart from between your feet

00:20:00.000 --> 00:20:05.000
and so it is impossible for me, for you, for us to operate in this

00:20:05.000 --> 00:20:10.000
unless we decide that we will be God dependent and body reliant

00:20:10.000 --> 00:20:15.000
not possible otherwise

00:20:15.000 --> 00:20:20.000
I can't tell you how important this principle is

00:20:20.000 --> 00:20:25.000
and if we choose not to walk this way then we'll end up doing what David did

00:20:25.000 --> 00:20:30.000
we'll end up carrying the ark wrongly either on a cart which brings you into a whole lot of trouble

00:20:30.000 --> 00:20:35.000
or you touch it when you shouldn't touch it like Ahayo and Uzza did

00:20:36.000 --> 00:20:41.000
any questions?

00:20:41.000 --> 00:20:46.000
you know it's so easy guys

00:20:46.000 --> 00:20:51.000
for me as a pastor to decide that I can do this on my own

00:20:51.000 --> 00:20:56.000
because I'm sufficiently gifted, I say that with absolute modesty

00:20:56.000 --> 00:21:01.000
but if I go down that route I'm finished

00:21:01.000 --> 00:21:06.000
all that giftedness will not matter

00:21:06.000 --> 00:21:11.000
because there's something called relational protocol in the kingdom

00:21:11.000 --> 00:21:16.000
which is how do I relate to her and how do I relate to him and how do I relate to him

00:21:16.000 --> 00:21:21.000
and if that is out of balance it'll be like

00:21:21.000 --> 00:21:26.000
the best way I can describe it is Emily, me, Sue

00:21:26.000 --> 00:21:31.000
and James carrying the ark

00:21:31.000 --> 00:21:36.000
you can imagine how lopsided that ark will be

00:21:36.000 --> 00:21:41.000
I just threw you in Sue

00:21:41.000 --> 00:21:46.000
because it's impossible to hold the ark in balance

00:21:46.000 --> 00:21:51.000
unless there's a vertical relationship and a horizontal relationship

00:21:51.000 --> 00:21:56.000
every time I have anything against you in my heart I know that I better deal with it

00:21:56.000 --> 00:22:01.000
one of my favorite lines now is

00:22:01.000 --> 00:22:06.000
if you need my love you should know you already have it

00:22:06.000 --> 00:22:11.000
if you need my love you should already know you have it

00:22:11.000 --> 00:22:16.000
that should be my attitude towards you

00:22:16.000 --> 00:22:21.000
regardless of what you do you should know that you already have my love

00:22:21.000 --> 00:22:26.000
because that's how the father is

00:22:26.000 --> 00:22:31.000
you already know you have it

00:22:31.000 --> 00:22:36.000
then the horizontal relational protocol is taken care of

00:22:36.000 --> 00:22:41.000
one of the things I wanted to say during worship

00:22:41.000 --> 00:22:46.000
you guys don't have to prove your love to me, I know you love me

00:22:46.000 --> 00:22:51.000
you guys don't have to prove your love to me, I know you love me

00:22:51.000 --> 00:22:56.000
what a relief to know that someone knows you love them, that you don't have to prove it

00:22:56.000 --> 00:23:01.000
that you don't have to show it, that he knows your heart

00:23:01.000 --> 00:23:06.000
but that's with God in you, but what if I could establish this horizontal relational protocol

00:23:06.000 --> 00:23:11.000
if you need my love you should know that you already have it, what if that was what I carried

00:23:11.000 --> 00:23:16.000
through irritation, through annoyance, through you doing me harm

00:23:16.000 --> 00:23:21.000
through me doing you harm, if we could have that, oh my God

00:23:21.000 --> 00:23:26.000
authority would begin to rest here

00:23:26.000 --> 00:23:31.000
there's a direct correlation between authority and intimacy

00:23:31.000 --> 00:23:36.000
whoever is closest to the king is the one who

00:23:36.000 --> 00:23:41.000
wields the greatest authority, always remember that, intimacy and authority are closely

00:23:41.000 --> 00:23:46.000
knit, you cannot wield one without the other

00:23:46.000 --> 00:23:51.000
the closer you are to the king the greater is your authority

00:23:51.000 --> 00:23:56.000
authority dwells where intimacy is present, intimacy with God and therefore intimacy

00:23:56.000 --> 00:24:01.000
with each other

00:24:01.000 --> 00:24:06.000
I labored that point a lot because we don't see any

00:24:06.000 --> 00:24:11.000
correlation between us behaving a certain way and the Judah anointing and authority

00:24:11.000 --> 00:24:16.000
but can you imagine the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit not being together

00:24:16.000 --> 00:24:21.000
how authority would work then? It wouldn't

00:24:21.000 --> 00:24:26.000
any questions guys?

00:24:26.000 --> 00:24:31.000
this is about when

00:24:31.000 --> 00:24:36.000
the last two weeks you guys would finish, terribly

00:24:36.000 --> 00:24:41.000
I'm sorry

00:24:41.000 --> 00:24:46.000
I'm sorry

00:24:46.000 --> 00:24:51.000
yeah

00:24:51.000 --> 00:24:56.000
yeah

00:24:56.000 --> 00:25:01.000
so what I mean by protocol is there are some simple things that come out of

00:25:01.000 --> 00:25:06.000
God's idea of love that if a church does not buy into God is not able to do

00:25:06.000 --> 00:25:11.000
much so when I say protocol I'm talking about this idea of

00:25:11.000 --> 00:25:16.000
because I'm all about love you need to be this way and if you are not

00:25:16.000 --> 00:25:21.000
this way then it doesn't matter how much faith you have, how much sacrifice you do

00:25:21.000 --> 00:25:26.000
1 Corinthians 13 goes into effect where you're a clanging symbol

00:25:26.000 --> 00:25:31.000
a noisy gong so learn how to love me, learn how to like yourself and then learn how to

00:25:31.000 --> 00:25:36.000
love each other and if you do this I can be anything I want in your midst and Jacob if you're

00:25:36.000 --> 00:25:41.000
not doing this then you as a pastor will screw up the church

00:25:41.000 --> 00:25:46.000
yeah

00:25:46.000 --> 00:25:51.000
it's not that we can't annoy or irritate each other

00:25:51.000 --> 00:25:56.000
you do and I do too

00:25:56.000 --> 00:26:01.000
but to be able to then take that annoyance and irritation and disappointment

00:26:01.000 --> 00:26:06.000
or whatever you feel and then say but there is a greater quality that

00:26:06.000 --> 00:26:11.000
that is so far above it that I will still deal with the annoyance

00:26:11.000 --> 00:26:16.000
irritation correction but I will deal with it in a way that is so brilliantly God you think God

00:26:16.000 --> 00:26:21.000
isn't annoyed irritated Jesus was you saw it with his disciples quite often

00:26:21.000 --> 00:26:26.000
angry sometimes disturbed

00:26:26.000 --> 00:26:31.000
sad irritated annoyed particularly with his own

00:26:31.000 --> 00:26:36.000
capiche

00:26:36.000 --> 00:26:41.000
okay the next one

00:26:41.000 --> 00:26:46.000
the Judah anointing allows you to enter into territory that is given to you by God

00:26:46.000 --> 00:26:51.000
and route the enemy route the enemy

00:26:51.000 --> 00:26:56.000
with stubbornness and

00:26:56.000 --> 00:27:01.000
endurance stubbornness and endurance

00:27:01.000 --> 00:27:06.000
both stubbornness and endurance

00:27:06.000 --> 00:27:11.000
take everything your mother and your teacher and

00:27:11.000 --> 00:27:16.000
said about you when it comes to stubbornness and then use it as a

00:27:16.000 --> 00:27:21.000
weapon in the kingdom remember those times when your mom said

00:27:21.000 --> 00:27:26.000
he was stubborn now take those words and use them well

00:27:26.000 --> 00:27:31.000
well

00:27:31.000 --> 00:27:36.000
they route the enemy with stubbornness and endurance

00:27:36.000 --> 00:27:41.000
guys there's a story of a guy called Eliezer Eliezer was one of

00:27:41.000 --> 00:27:46.000
David's mighty three you read about him in second Samuel 23 verse 10

00:27:46.000 --> 00:27:51.000
he decides that he's going to fight so he takes a sword and he goes into a field and stands there

00:27:51.000 --> 00:27:56.000
and he begins to fight it gets to a point where the sword literally melts

00:27:56.000 --> 00:28:01.000
into his hand but he will not give ground it says some versions say the

00:28:01.000 --> 00:28:06.000
sword and the hand became one they had a literary comment take it away

00:28:06.000 --> 00:28:11.000
from him because that's how he held it and he would not get weary and here's what

00:28:11.000 --> 00:28:16.000
some versions phrase it as God accomplished a great victory through him

00:28:16.000 --> 00:28:21.000
it was almost as if in that situation God could have done it himself but God needed him

00:28:21.000 --> 00:28:26.000
and he was not spiritually weary there is a way you and I have to choose

00:28:26.000 --> 00:28:31.000
to be we have to refuse to be spiritually weary I can

00:28:31.000 --> 00:28:36.000
understand physical exhaustion but I do not understand spiritual weariness

00:28:36.000 --> 00:28:41.000
if there is spiritual weariness it's usually because we are not walking in rest so learn to

00:28:41.000 --> 00:28:46.000
walk in rest but there is a capacity that you have

00:28:46.000 --> 00:28:51.000
because of Christ in you that is so huge that we got to not confuse

00:28:51.000 --> 00:28:56.000
physical exhaustion and spiritual weariness if you're physically exhausted lean against something

00:28:56.000 --> 00:29:01.000
but do not quit spiritually if you're physically exhausted lie down

00:29:01.000 --> 00:29:06.000
and minister I can do that we can go on to line tonight

00:29:06.000 --> 00:29:11.000
but refuse to

00:29:11.000 --> 00:29:16.000
fall for this thing called spiritual weariness

00:29:16.000 --> 00:29:21.000
it's not real it's not real

00:29:21.000 --> 00:29:26.000
there's a reservoir of strength

00:29:26.000 --> 00:29:31.000
when God calls us to something physical exhaustion yes Jesus went to sleep

00:29:31.000 --> 00:29:36.000
in the boat

00:29:36.000 --> 00:29:41.000
and his body was literally perfect

00:29:41.000 --> 00:29:46.000
so there is something called physical exhaustion

00:29:46.000 --> 00:29:51.000
but every time you think you're being spiritually weary know that you are a

00:29:51.000 --> 00:29:56.000
Judah anointed people that you need to say there's something wrong in the way I'm doing things

00:29:56.000 --> 00:30:01.000
if I walk in rest I do not get weary Isaiah 40 kicks in

00:30:01.000 --> 00:30:06.000
those that wait upon the Lord what is resting but waiting upon every word that proceeds from the mouth of God

00:30:06.000 --> 00:30:11.000
please understand that when I

00:30:11.000 --> 00:30:16.000
ask some of you leaders or non-leaders to do anything

00:30:16.000 --> 00:30:21.000
that seems demanding it is because I know there is a capacity that I have

00:30:21.000 --> 00:30:26.000
seen that I can tap on and place a demand on you can

00:30:26.000 --> 00:30:31.000
you can come and say I don't have time for it that's understandable but you cannot say I don't have the ability for it

00:30:31.000 --> 00:30:36.000
you do and unless the demand is placed on it it doesn't work

00:30:36.000 --> 00:30:41.000
questions comments thoughts

00:30:41.000 --> 00:30:46.000
slight disagreements

00:30:46.000 --> 00:30:51.000
those that overcome spiritual veering as bring God a victory

00:30:51.000 --> 00:30:56.000
those that overcome spiritual veering as bring God a victory I love that you bring God a victory

00:30:56.000 --> 00:31:01.000
he doesn't have to go looking for candidate number 21 since the last 20

00:31:01.000 --> 00:31:06.000
he doesn't have to go looking for candidate number 21 since the last 20

00:31:06.000 --> 00:31:11.000
he just gets his first choice right

00:31:11.000 --> 00:31:16.000
burnout

00:31:16.000 --> 00:31:21.000
burnout

00:31:21.000 --> 00:31:26.000
Diana has asked a question

00:31:26.000 --> 00:31:31.000
the question goes like this Jacob what does spiritual veering

00:31:31.000 --> 00:31:36.000
look like now let me answer it

00:31:36.000 --> 00:31:41.000
sometimes looks like just

00:31:41.000 --> 00:31:46.000
burnout as in you do not have the ability to function anymore spiritually

00:31:46.000 --> 00:31:51.000
because you have burnt yourself out

00:31:51.000 --> 00:31:56.000
two emotional

00:31:56.000 --> 00:32:01.000
inability to now do anything spiritually because your emotions and your spiritual

00:32:01.000 --> 00:32:06.000
condition are no longer in sync

00:32:06.000 --> 00:32:11.000
three the inability to forgive, release, forget and move on

00:32:11.000 --> 00:32:16.000
four equating physical exhaustion with spiritual veering

00:32:16.000 --> 00:32:21.000
five choosing not to inconvenience yourself

00:32:21.000 --> 00:32:26.000
because I need my time

00:32:26.000 --> 00:32:31.000
there's nothing wrong with my time guys

00:32:31.000 --> 00:32:36.000
it's good to have my time but not if it's just a matter of inconvenience

00:32:36.000 --> 00:32:41.000
not if it's just a matter of inconvenience

00:32:41.000 --> 00:32:46.000
please don't think of time and physical exhaustion

00:32:46.000 --> 00:32:51.000
as spiritual veering as two separate things

00:32:51.000 --> 00:32:56.000
and one of the best ways to handle this is father I will rest and work

00:32:56.000 --> 00:33:01.000
I will rest and work all spiritual work will be done from a place of rest

00:33:01.000 --> 00:33:06.000
I refuse to do it any other way so that what comes out of me is what is already in me

00:33:06.000 --> 00:33:11.000
I don't even know what is in me because it's far greater than what I have actually experimented with

00:33:11.000 --> 00:33:16.000
that's how this works

00:33:16.000 --> 00:33:21.000
and I will try and make my emotions and my spiritual condition match up

00:33:21.000 --> 00:33:26.000
one of the easiest ways to do that I'm not talking about situations where

00:33:26.000 --> 00:33:31.000
you're going through a period when things are depressive I'm not talking about that because some conditions

00:33:31.000 --> 00:33:36.000
are chemical, clinical and spiritual I'm talking about under normal circumstances

00:33:36.000 --> 00:33:41.000
where you are in a place where you have found how to get to a place of joy in about

00:33:41.000 --> 00:33:46.000
20 hours and 2 minutes

00:33:46.000 --> 00:33:51.000
where some of us it will take 20 hours to get to a place of ha ha ha

00:33:51.000 --> 00:33:56.000
for others it will take 2 minutes but once you begin to get to this

00:33:56.000 --> 00:34:01.000
place of joy you will find that joy is almost at the

00:34:01.000 --> 00:34:06.000
pinnacle of all emotions you get there and all the other emotions settle

00:34:06.000 --> 00:34:11.000
why? because it is the

00:34:11.000 --> 00:34:16.000
thing that gives us greatest strength the joy of the Lord is my strength

00:34:16.000 --> 00:34:21.000
everything else begins to align and so the faster you get to a place

00:34:21.000 --> 00:34:26.000
of joy from really sad, despondent, desperate, fearful places

00:34:26.000 --> 00:34:31.000
the quicker you will find that your spiritual condition operates really well

00:34:31.000 --> 00:34:36.000
when joy is around and it's again a matter of delight and discipline

00:34:36.000 --> 00:34:41.000
never a matter of just discipline

00:34:41.000 --> 00:34:46.000
yeah

00:34:46.000 --> 00:34:51.000
yeah and the more you are at rest

00:34:51.000 --> 00:34:56.000
and the more the spirit of God has played the greater your physical strength is

00:34:56.000 --> 00:35:01.000
how does a man, an ordinary man fast for 40 days?

00:35:01.000 --> 00:35:06.000
there must be something that he had going with God both he and Moses and others

00:35:06.000 --> 00:35:11.000
Elijah

00:35:11.000 --> 00:35:16.000
have you been watching that Jesus thingy right? what's it called?

00:35:16.000 --> 00:35:21.000
the chosen what does it feel like to start your day in the morning and go

00:35:21.000 --> 00:35:26.000
healing hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds casting out demons

00:35:26.000 --> 00:35:31.000
what does it feel like for a man from Nazareth?

00:35:31.000 --> 00:35:36.000
then how does he get up in the morning and then go again and spend some more time with his father

00:35:36.000 --> 00:35:41.000
and come back and then he's got to deal with John and James' mother

00:35:41.000 --> 00:35:46.000
because she's out to crown them king

00:35:46.000 --> 00:35:51.000
always remember guys what are we trying to do?

00:35:51.000 --> 00:35:56.000
we're trying to show the world that there is a way to do things more excellently so that there's a model to follow

00:35:56.000 --> 00:36:01.000
never back off from that

00:36:01.000 --> 00:36:06.000
die trying that

00:36:06.000 --> 00:36:11.000
and die trying that and die quietly don't write songs

00:36:11.000 --> 00:36:16.000
next one

00:36:16.000 --> 00:36:21.000
you like Judah have the ability to throw the enemy into disarray with your praise

00:36:21.000 --> 00:36:26.000
you like Judah have the ability to throw the enemy into disarray with your praise

00:36:26.000 --> 00:36:31.000
your praise is a two-edged sword

00:36:31.000 --> 00:36:36.000
Judah was always sent out in the front

00:36:36.000 --> 00:36:41.000
Jehoshaphat also when he sent his people out Judah was at the forefront

00:36:41.000 --> 00:36:46.000
God told Judah to lead Judah means praise

00:36:46.000 --> 00:36:51.000
your praise becomes a two-edged sword

00:36:51.000 --> 00:36:56.000
what does praise that becomes a two-edged sword sound like?

00:36:56.000 --> 00:37:01.000
it has the sound of the king in your midst

00:37:01.000 --> 00:37:06.000
it has the sound of justice

00:37:06.000 --> 00:37:11.000
it has the sound of vengeance

00:37:11.000 --> 00:37:16.000
it has the sound of judgment

00:37:16.000 --> 00:37:21.000
what does it look like

00:37:21.000 --> 00:37:26.000
when you are in a prison cell shackled

00:37:26.000 --> 00:37:31.000
with eight gods outside and there is a friend called Silas

00:37:31.000 --> 00:37:36.000
and you have the ability to now

00:37:36.000 --> 00:37:41.000
begin to take up praise that is like a two-edged sword

00:37:41.000 --> 00:37:46.000
it has in it the shout of a king

00:37:46.000 --> 00:37:51.000
the shout of a king is not the shout of Jesus

00:37:51.000 --> 00:37:56.000
the shout of a king is the shout of a people who recognize Jesus in their midst

00:37:56.000 --> 00:38:01.000
so the sound of the king in your midst

00:38:01.000 --> 00:38:06.000
it carries in it justice there is something about making things right

00:38:06.000 --> 00:38:11.000
in your praise

00:38:11.000 --> 00:38:16.000
God this is what is happening this is how everything is working out but you make things right

00:38:16.000 --> 00:38:21.000
and my praise shall reflect that it carries in it vengeance

00:38:21.000 --> 00:38:26.000
man praise carries vengeance always remember the favor of God comes after the vengeance of God

00:38:26.000 --> 00:38:31.000
in the Old Testament his vengeance would go out and then his favor would come in

00:38:31.000 --> 00:38:36.000
Isaiah 61 the year of Jubilee was a year when there would be favor

00:38:36.000 --> 00:38:41.000
but there was also vengeance

00:38:41.000 --> 00:38:46.000
Psalm 149 verses 6 to 9 with your high praises which is like a two-edged sword

00:38:46.000 --> 00:38:51.000
you will begin to execute vengeance and judge nobles kings

00:38:51.000 --> 00:38:56.000
hey good to see you man we will see you next time

00:38:56.000 --> 00:39:01.000
if you have any problem with James just let us know

00:39:01.000 --> 00:39:06.000
try and help him with soccer he is not very good

00:39:06.000 --> 00:39:11.000
later Gaita

00:39:11.000 --> 00:39:16.000
vengeance in it

00:39:16.000 --> 00:39:21.000
Psalm 149 verses 6 to 9

00:39:21.000 --> 00:39:26.000
any questions

00:39:26.000 --> 00:39:31.000
sometimes you should shut your doors or go out on your balcony and engage in some songs like this when things are not going well

00:39:31.000 --> 00:39:36.000
shut your door

00:39:36.000 --> 00:39:41.000
roll up your windows in your car and begin to shout

00:39:41.000 --> 00:39:46.000
pardon

00:39:46.000 --> 00:39:51.000
yeah so

00:39:51.000 --> 00:39:56.000
when I'm in fear because it's something that I am not in control of

00:39:56.000 --> 00:40:01.000
things are not going well I'm scared that I'll not end up in a good place

00:40:01.000 --> 00:40:06.000
I'll begin to take promises from God that he's given me for the situation

00:40:06.000 --> 00:40:11.000
scripture verses I'll put it in a song or if I can't sing

00:40:11.000 --> 00:40:16.000
I'll begin to speak it out loud saying this is what is happening but

00:40:16.000 --> 00:40:21.000
this is who you are oh God this is what you promised I'll take those promises I'll look at my phone I'll start singing it out

00:40:21.000 --> 00:40:26.000
because it should become a two-edged sword in my hand

00:40:26.000 --> 00:40:31.000
what is a two-edged sword the two-edged sword is the word of God you have to take the word of God

00:40:31.000 --> 00:40:36.000
sometimes Rehma sometimes Logos and you begin to wield it

00:40:36.000 --> 00:40:41.000
it brings great joy it brings great

00:40:41.000 --> 00:40:46.000
release

00:40:46.000 --> 00:40:51.000
there are times when you don't have to sing a single

00:40:51.000 --> 00:40:56.000
word like Marcus is saying

00:40:56.000 --> 00:41:01.000
where you can absolutely be confident

00:41:01.000 --> 00:41:06.000
resting in the word that word will go to work and there are other times where I have to take the sword and fight

00:41:06.000 --> 00:41:11.000
let the Holy Spirit lead you because at the end of the day who is the author of the word

00:41:11.000 --> 00:41:16.000
and who is the ultimate swordsman the spirit of God

00:41:16.000 --> 00:41:21.000
sometimes not a word you are so confident that like

00:41:21.000 --> 00:41:26.000
the guys did around Jericho you don't say a word and you go around the city

00:41:26.000 --> 00:41:31.000
knowing that the city will fall

00:41:31.000 --> 00:41:36.000
the next one is you are sent with

00:41:36.000 --> 00:41:41.000
authority to, Judah is always sent with authority to prepare the way

00:41:41.000 --> 00:41:46.000
and be a voice Judah is always sent with authority to prepare the way

00:41:46.000 --> 00:41:51.000
and be a voice to prepare the way it was said of John the Baptist in Mark

00:41:51.000 --> 00:41:56.000
chapter 1 verse 6 and 7 that here is a voice crying out in the wilderness prepare the way

00:41:56.000 --> 00:42:01.000
so there are times when the voice needs to go out

00:42:01.000 --> 00:42:06.000
remember guys you are a spirit word being you are a spirit you are a spirit

00:42:06.000 --> 00:42:11.000
word being therefore take give voice

00:42:11.000 --> 00:42:16.000
to the words of the spirit

00:42:16.000 --> 00:42:21.000
in you

00:42:21.000 --> 00:42:26.000
you are a spirit word being

00:42:26.000 --> 00:42:31.000
put voice to the words of the spirit in you use it as a sling use it as a sling

00:42:31.000 --> 00:42:36.000
use it as a sling

00:42:36.000 --> 00:42:41.000
because your voice is a forerunner that goes ahead of you

00:42:41.000 --> 00:42:46.000
this is a strange thing about God and scripture proves it Amos talks about it

00:42:46.000 --> 00:42:51.000
I will always speak before I do I will let you know before I do

00:42:51.000 --> 00:42:56.000
creation how did creation happen he spoke

00:42:56.000 --> 00:43:01.000
words are forerunners for God and it should become forerunners for the people of God

00:43:06.000 --> 00:43:11.000
you know the story about Eddie's son Paul right

00:43:11.000 --> 00:43:16.000
Eddie's son

00:43:16.000 --> 00:43:21.000
was Paul something O'Neill

00:43:21.000 --> 00:43:26.000
they gave him a middle name I don't remember it but they used to call him by the middle name

00:43:26.000 --> 00:43:31.000
and God had specifically told them to call him Paul and

00:43:31.000 --> 00:43:36.000
Paul didn't speak for the first three years of his life or something and then his

00:43:36.000 --> 00:43:41.000
elder brother Edward one day when they were talking and

00:43:41.000 --> 00:43:46.000
Paul was not speaking Edward goes up to him and he's only older by two years from then he goes up to him

00:43:46.000 --> 00:43:51.000
and says what's wrong with you don't you know your name is Paul the moment he says that Paul

00:43:51.000 --> 00:43:56.000
starts talking and Eddie then went and literally

00:43:56.000 --> 00:44:01.000
repented before God for using a name for the child that was

00:44:01.000 --> 00:44:06.000
their middle they gave him a middle name but God had told them to call him

00:44:06.000 --> 00:44:11.000
Paul and Paul said now you can't keep Paul quiet

00:44:11.000 --> 00:44:16.000
our words are forerunners

00:44:16.000 --> 00:44:21.000
God uses words as a forerunner your voice is a

00:44:21.000 --> 00:44:26.000
forerunner that goes ahead of you opening the way for God to move

00:44:26.000 --> 00:44:31.000
preparing what must be established the thing is guys deep calls to deep and my

00:44:31.000 --> 00:44:36.000
silence will smother what the deep is saying to deep as in the Spirit of

00:44:36.000 --> 00:44:41.000
God says something write it down speak it it's a God pattern

00:44:41.000 --> 00:44:46.000
Judah does this

00:44:46.000 --> 00:44:51.000
I will stop in 14 minutes

00:44:51.000 --> 00:44:56.000
yeah

00:44:56.000 --> 00:45:01.000
and if I don't then you get

00:45:01.000 --> 00:45:06.000
James's sweater hoodie

00:45:06.000 --> 00:45:11.000
guys Judah has a remnant

00:45:11.000 --> 00:45:16.000
mentality Judah has a remnant mentality Judah oh my Lord thank God

00:45:16.000 --> 00:45:21.000
can you put the clock back on so I okay 1247

00:45:21.000 --> 00:45:26.000
Judah has a remnant mentality

00:45:26.000 --> 00:45:31.000
a remnant mentality is basically it functions

00:45:31.000 --> 00:45:36.000
as a seed it functions as a seed

00:45:36.000 --> 00:45:41.000
a remnant is

00:45:41.000 --> 00:45:46.000
a subset of a

00:45:46.000 --> 00:45:51.000
larger aggregate

00:45:51.000 --> 00:45:56.000
a remnant is a subset of a larger aggregate that is

00:45:56.000 --> 00:46:01.000
anticipated in the future and the Judah has a remnant mentality it doesn't matter that nobody is going with you

00:46:01.000 --> 00:46:06.000
it doesn't matter that you don't have what it takes that people are saying really you think you can do something what

00:46:06.000 --> 00:46:11.000
good comes out of Nazareth it doesn't matter

00:46:11.000 --> 00:46:16.000
the attitude of that of a remnant that we are seed we function as seed

00:46:16.000 --> 00:46:21.000
if we fall into the ground something will happen in the future a remnant is a subset

00:46:21.000 --> 00:46:26.000
of an aggregate that awaits that is much larger and that is anticipated in the future

00:46:26.000 --> 00:46:31.000
and this mentality is important it's not a survivor mentality it is not

00:46:31.000 --> 00:46:36.000
I'm a survivor that old Destiny child song no this is something very different it's this

00:46:36.000 --> 00:46:41.000
thing where you know that you have in you the potency to create

00:46:41.000 --> 00:46:46.000
something that in the future will become huge

00:46:46.000 --> 00:46:51.000
yeah it will become huge it will multiply

00:46:51.000 --> 00:46:56.000
multiply

00:46:56.000 --> 00:47:01.000
and you pay the cost for others you pay the cost for others

00:47:01.000 --> 00:47:06.000
Isaiah 53 verse 10 it is said of Jesus that Jesus went ahead of us that he paid a price

00:47:06.000 --> 00:47:11.000
but this he knew that the will of the father will prosper in his hands and that he will see hundreds and hundreds and hundreds

00:47:11.000 --> 00:47:16.000
who will come after him into the kingdom because of what he did I live near

00:47:16.000 --> 00:47:21.000
the river the Fraser River every day you will see this

00:47:21.000 --> 00:47:26.000
little tugboats smaller than about the same size as this pew

00:47:26.000 --> 00:47:31.000
hauling in something as big as this church

00:47:31.000 --> 00:47:36.000
and they'll turn and they'll somehow pull this

00:47:36.000 --> 00:47:41.000
in houses that I've seen floating down that river pulled by a little tugboat

00:47:41.000 --> 00:47:46.000
because that tugboat has the engine that is required to bring the rest in

00:47:46.000 --> 00:47:51.000
that is what this mentality is be encouraged church that God has

00:47:51.000 --> 00:47:56.000
asked you to be part of this be encouraged that right in our foundations we were told that we had

00:47:56.000 --> 00:48:01.000
the anointing that was upon Judah that this was a church that would stand at the forefront pay the cost man it's

00:48:01.000 --> 00:48:06.000
worth paying the cost

00:48:11.000 --> 00:48:16.000
yeah

00:48:16.000 --> 00:48:21.000
yeah

00:48:21.000 --> 00:48:26.000
yeah yeah one of the ways I would define remnant for the sake of the

00:48:26.000 --> 00:48:31.000
kingdom is very this way a remnant is a seed with the potency to develop a

00:48:31.000 --> 00:48:36.000
forest and God at the end of the day distills everything down to a remnant he always starts with a remnant

00:48:36.000 --> 00:48:41.000
always comes down to one man Abraham one man Jacob the other one

00:48:41.000 --> 00:48:46.000
the one man Jesus the one man Paul everything

00:48:46.000 --> 00:48:51.000
starts from that tiny little remnant but in that remnant you have everything that is

00:48:51.000 --> 00:48:56.000
required for an entire body to come across it's the same thing with the fetus right it starts from one cell

00:48:56.000 --> 00:49:01.000
and then grows into something that is the potency of what

00:49:01.000 --> 00:49:06.000
God does say mustard seed it's brilliant

00:49:06.000 --> 00:49:11.000
this is who you are guys and you pay a cost when you pay a cost

00:49:11.000 --> 00:49:16.000
other Timothes and Titus emerge next point God resources the

00:49:16.000 --> 00:49:21.000
Judah people he resources them he resources them he resources

00:49:21.000 --> 00:49:26.000
them he doesn't send you out without resourcing you the

00:49:26.000 --> 00:49:31.000
only problem is you only see your provision as you walk towards it

00:49:31.000 --> 00:49:36.000
that is just God's

00:49:36.000 --> 00:49:41.000
just a predictable not good habit where

00:49:41.000 --> 00:49:46.000
you only see your provision as you walk towards it but he always

00:49:46.000 --> 00:49:51.000
resources you you do not see it till you start walking towards it but as you

00:49:51.000 --> 00:49:56.000
walk towards it it appears and he always resources I mean

00:49:56.000 --> 00:50:01.000
don't know what to do in New York it doesn't matter walk towards it don't know how

00:50:01.000 --> 00:50:06.000
to fund New York doesn't matter walk towards it as you

00:50:06.000 --> 00:50:11.000
walk towards it it comes therefore this church has never had a budget

00:50:11.000 --> 00:50:16.000
this church cannot have a budget you cannot have a

00:50:16.000 --> 00:50:21.000
budget if you're a Judah anointing church

00:50:21.000 --> 00:50:26.000
because there are no limits

00:50:26.000 --> 00:50:31.000
yeah

00:50:31.000 --> 00:50:36.000
people who

00:50:36.000 --> 00:50:41.000
walk under the Judah anointing have a different spirit they have a different

00:50:41.000 --> 00:50:46.000
spirit anyone can have this guys but

00:50:46.000 --> 00:50:51.000
if this is the table you're eating from you don't even have to go looking for this table because

00:50:51.000 --> 00:50:56.000
it's there in front of you it's not some special thing that God is

00:50:56.000 --> 00:51:01.000
giving us it is just that this is something God gave us and we are just making sure that we

00:51:01.000 --> 00:51:06.000
don't walk away from this table and instead sit at it a different spirit is

00:51:06.000 --> 00:51:11.000
one that follows fully these are some things that a different spirit does

00:51:11.000 --> 00:51:16.000
one that follows fully as in there's no half measures here one that waits for God

00:51:16.000 --> 00:51:21.000
one that waits for God won't go rushing into things because they know

00:51:21.000 --> 00:51:26.000
that walking in rest is the easiest way to accomplish a lot without doing much

00:51:26.000 --> 00:51:31.000
walking in rest is the easiest way to accomplish a lot without doing much

00:51:31.000 --> 00:51:36.000
why would you want to do it any other way

00:51:36.000 --> 00:51:41.000
third they don't

00:51:41.000 --> 00:51:46.000
amend what they're given they don't amend what they're given

00:51:46.000 --> 00:51:51.000
whatever God tells them to do there's no amendment this is it do it this way can't amend it

00:51:51.000 --> 00:51:56.000
can't change it neither circumstances nor culture allow you they don't

00:51:56.000 --> 00:52:01.000
because the road is long

00:52:01.000 --> 00:52:06.000
because the road is long they don't faint these are some of the things of people that have

00:52:06.000 --> 00:52:11.000
most excellent spirit they run and they're not weary because of these things

00:52:11.000 --> 00:52:16.000
that they walk in but in the process they are last

00:52:16.000 --> 00:52:21.000
in the eyes of people who think they are very foolish

00:52:21.000 --> 00:52:26.000
but they are first in line

00:52:26.000 --> 00:52:31.000
with God and they are despised

00:52:31.000 --> 00:52:36.000
by Saul's daughter

00:52:36.000 --> 00:52:41.000
I was going to say they are despised by Michael but then we might come to wrong

00:52:41.000 --> 00:52:46.000
conclusions so I'll call him

00:52:46.000 --> 00:52:51.000
David was like this last in the line his dad didn't even

00:52:51.000 --> 00:52:56.000
call him up man for the parade how do you not call all your sons up

00:52:56.000 --> 00:53:01.000
doesn't even call him up last in the line first with God

00:53:01.000 --> 00:53:06.000
despised by Saul's daughter so

00:53:06.000 --> 00:53:11.000
who talks about Michael nobody

00:53:11.000 --> 00:53:16.000
nobody

00:53:16.000 --> 00:53:21.000
last two points

00:53:21.000 --> 00:53:26.000
no Michael's better Michael's better

00:53:26.000 --> 00:53:31.000
in Hebrew it's pronounced Michael

00:53:31.000 --> 00:53:36.000
next one

00:53:36.000 --> 00:53:41.000
next one

00:53:41.000 --> 00:53:46.000
I love this about us as a people as you as a people they lap up water like

00:53:46.000 --> 00:53:51.000
dogs they lap up water like dogs

00:53:51.000 --> 00:53:56.000
it's one place where being called a dog is a good thing they lap up water like

00:53:56.000 --> 00:54:01.000
dogs they're like Gideon's 300 you lap up water like dogs

00:54:01.000 --> 00:54:06.000
chapter 7 verse 5 and what is lapping up water like dogs mean

00:54:06.000 --> 00:54:11.000
it's eager alertness

00:54:11.000 --> 00:54:16.000
obedience without understanding

00:54:16.000 --> 00:54:21.000
willingness

00:54:21.000 --> 00:54:26.000
to be

00:54:26.000 --> 00:54:31.000
stretched that's what it looks like

00:54:31.000 --> 00:54:36.000
and the

00:54:36.000 --> 00:54:41.000
last one disengaged from other distractions disengaged

00:54:41.000 --> 00:54:46.000
from civilian distractions to use Paul's words from Timothy

00:54:46.000 --> 00:54:51.000
that's what it looks like to be to

00:54:51.000 --> 00:54:56.000
lap up water like dogs and I see this so about you I mean can you imagine

00:54:56.000 --> 00:55:01.000
what would have happened if this was not who you were but this is how

00:55:01.000 --> 00:55:06.000
you are and you've been like this for 16 years now

00:55:06.000 --> 00:55:11.000
let's embrace this anointing because greater things await us

00:55:11.000 --> 00:55:16.000
eager alertness

00:55:16.000 --> 00:55:21.000
obedience without understanding nobody here wants to

00:55:21.000 --> 00:55:26.000
know why how when where I mean we jump

00:55:26.000 --> 00:55:31.000
into things foolishly and even those connected with us now do

00:55:31.000 --> 00:55:36.000
that people move from Houston to New York New York to LA who does that who

00:55:36.000 --> 00:55:41.000
leaves Vernon and comes to Vancouver four of them

00:55:41.000 --> 00:55:46.000
disengaged from civilian distractions

00:55:46.000 --> 00:55:51.000
the last point yes the last point is

00:55:51.000 --> 00:55:56.000
they come against the empty traditions of men and the empty superstitions of the

00:55:56.000 --> 00:56:01.000
spirit world they come against the empty traditions of men and the empty

00:56:01.000 --> 00:56:06.000
superstitions of the spirit world they come against the empty traditions of men as in there's no

00:56:06.000 --> 00:56:09.120
traditions or cultural hangups.

00:56:10.360 --> 00:56:11.920
Two or three times in New York and LA

00:56:11.920 --> 00:56:13.280
I was asked the question,

00:56:13.280 --> 00:56:16.440
hey, so is your church Indian?

00:56:16.440 --> 00:56:18.920
Because like attracts like,

00:56:18.920 --> 00:56:23.320
so everybody expected that the church I raised

00:56:23.320 --> 00:56:24.280
must be Indian.

00:56:25.240 --> 00:56:28.000
And I said no, and then I told them a little secret

00:56:28.000 --> 00:56:29.480
that in the beginning when we started,

00:56:29.480 --> 00:56:32.280
I made sure that no Indian knew I was starting a church.

00:56:33.120 --> 00:56:37.640
So because you could be anything else,

00:56:37.640 --> 00:56:41.680
but because sometimes it can get very clannish

00:56:41.680 --> 00:56:44.160
where if you start with an Indian core,

00:56:44.160 --> 00:56:46.200
then Indian culture will take over.

00:56:46.200 --> 00:56:49.480
And thank God we started with a non-Indian core.

00:56:50.840 --> 00:56:52.820
And now it's not Indian.

00:56:54.560 --> 00:56:56.140
The only Indian here is Evan.

00:56:56.340 --> 00:56:57.180
Oh.

00:57:04.100 --> 00:57:05.860
Anything to burn you.

00:57:09.060 --> 00:57:10.340
Yeah.

00:57:10.340 --> 00:57:11.540
Hey, this time is not my name.

00:57:11.540 --> 00:57:12.900
This time is Karen and Diana's.

00:57:12.900 --> 00:57:14.180
Go ahead, Karen.

00:57:14.180 --> 00:57:16.660
The empty traditions of men and the empty traditions of men.

00:57:16.660 --> 00:57:18.520
The empty traditions of the spirit world.

00:57:18.520 --> 00:57:21.420
The empty traditions of men

00:57:21.420 --> 00:57:23.980
and the empty superstitions of the spirit world,

00:57:23.980 --> 00:57:25.200
they come against both.

00:57:25.200 --> 00:57:32.200
They come against both. Do not tolerate the traditions of men or the cultural hangups.

00:57:32.200 --> 00:57:38.200
Because these are the things that usually are behind every ideology and system.

00:57:38.200 --> 00:57:47.200
Either the empty superstitions of the spirit world or the empty traditions of men are always behind the ideologies and the systems of the world.

00:57:47.200 --> 00:57:54.200
Paul talks about it. Elemental spirits of the world. Stoic here.

00:57:54.200 --> 00:58:05.200
And because they don't do this, they have the ability now to go up and repossess nations, repossess places that are desolate one life at a time.

00:58:05.200 --> 00:58:12.200
That is how Judah works.

00:58:12.200 --> 00:58:21.200
I know you know the story, but in 2 Kings 17, 26-28, 2 Kings 17, 26-28, a king captures Israel.

00:58:21.200 --> 00:58:26.200
He's got a problem though. Lions are ravaging the land.

00:58:26.200 --> 00:58:33.200
So he takes Israel and then he brings his people and settles them in Israelite land.

00:58:33.200 --> 00:58:49.200
But there are lions ravaging the land. And so he says, the only way to get rid of these lions is to find some priests from Israel and send them to the land so that they can teach the people who now live in the land the law of their God.

00:58:49.200 --> 00:58:52.200
This is how you resettle things.

00:58:52.200 --> 00:59:00.200
When you send the people of God into places one life at a time to resettle so that the lions no longer devour.

00:59:00.200 --> 00:59:08.200
2 Kings 17, 26-28. Fascinating story.

00:59:08.200 --> 00:59:17.200
Yeah, I'm done. Made it. I can take the jacket back.

00:59:17.200 --> 00:59:20.200
Hey, this is a good church.

00:59:20.200 --> 00:59:26.200
I'm saying it after not being here for two weeks, returning here is really good.

00:59:26.200 --> 00:59:31.200
A church is made up of its people. It's a good place to return to.

00:59:31.200 --> 00:59:36.200
I find it very refreshing coming here.

00:59:36.200 --> 00:59:41.200
It's a good church. Let's just pray that God will now anoint us with...

00:59:41.200 --> 00:59:51.200
God will refresh us in the Judah anointing right now. Let's just pray that.

00:59:51.200 --> 00:59:55.200
Can two or three people just pray into that and I'll conclude.

00:59:55.200 --> 01:00:13.200
Pray loudly.

01:00:13.200 --> 01:00:22.200
Go for it guys. You let your voice be a forerunner.

01:00:22.200 --> 01:00:25.200
Father, I'm reminded of the verse that says,

01:00:25.200 --> 01:00:28.200
I am more control of the chief of your house.

01:00:28.200 --> 01:00:32.200
Now I feel like Father, you let us into this house.

01:00:32.200 --> 01:00:36.200
Maybe we can enjoy it a little bit.

01:00:36.200 --> 01:00:45.200
May your presence not only go before it, but also be a part of each house that will be a piece of that.

01:00:45.200 --> 01:00:52.200
Father, may we also do what we need to do in order to walk in this place that lives well in the land that we brought it to.

01:00:52.200 --> 01:00:58.200
To be able to be a Judah people. To be able to walk in that anointing.

01:00:58.200 --> 01:01:02.200
Father, we know that you've made the way. So now we want to step into it.

01:01:02.200 --> 01:01:08.200
Step in and hear and obey. To delight ourselves in your word.

01:01:08.200 --> 01:01:13.200
To delight ourselves in this place and the pasture that you've brought us.

01:01:13.200 --> 01:01:16.200
Father, we know it will benefit us and it will benefit others.

01:01:16.200 --> 01:01:22.200
Father, thank you that you have done what you said you would do.

01:01:22.200 --> 01:01:27.200
And may we do what we need to do to live fully in this place.

01:01:27.200 --> 01:01:34.200
Father, thank you for this amazing opportunity to listen to you.

01:01:34.200 --> 01:01:42.200
And you are sending us today to walk in your ways with delight and discipline.

01:01:42.200 --> 01:01:44.200
Thank you.

01:01:44.200 --> 01:01:51.200
May you understand each point and may it not be that difficult to walk in it, Father.

01:01:51.200 --> 01:01:58.200
That we would go forth knowing that you have a purpose in hearing this word today.

01:01:58.200 --> 01:02:08.200
So help us to be, help us to listen with faith and follow your instructions.

01:02:08.200 --> 01:02:10.200
Amen.

01:02:10.200 --> 01:02:14.200
Father, let us walk forward foolishly into what you're calling us to.

01:02:14.200 --> 01:02:17.200
Remembering that you own the cattle on the Thousand Hills.

01:02:17.200 --> 01:02:20.200
That you own everything. That you made everything and you own everything.

01:02:20.200 --> 01:02:28.200
And that should give us no cause for apprehension or worry to just walk forward foolishly into what you called us to do.

01:02:28.200 --> 01:02:32.200
Thank you. Anyone else?

01:02:32.200 --> 01:02:36.200
Father, I just rise on behalf of the symbol. Thank you Father.

01:02:36.200 --> 01:02:40.200
And especially say thank you for the ones who have run for us.

01:02:40.200 --> 01:02:44.200
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Hallelujah.

01:02:44.200 --> 01:02:49.200
And we just say we carry that church and we want to run for it.

01:02:49.200 --> 01:02:54.200
Father, I pray that you would send your Spirit and that we would leave with a fresh heart.

01:02:54.200 --> 01:02:57.200
And that you would have spoken with us.

01:02:57.200 --> 01:02:59.200
And that we would have spoken with you today.

01:02:59.200 --> 01:03:01.200
And that we would have spoken with you today.

01:03:01.200 --> 01:03:04.200
And that we would have spoken with you today.

01:03:04.200 --> 01:03:07.200
Hallelujah.

01:03:07.200 --> 01:03:10.200
Yeah, yeah.

01:03:10.200 --> 01:03:16.200
Hallelujah. Amen.

01:03:16.200 --> 01:03:21.200
Let me read from Genesis and then then.

01:03:21.200 --> 01:03:24.200
Genesis chapter 49.

01:03:24.200 --> 01:03:27.200
Reading from the message.

01:03:27.200 --> 01:03:33.200
Father, we just receive these words now from Genesis 49, 8 to 10.

01:03:33.200 --> 01:03:35.200
And we receive it just as a gift from you.

01:03:35.200 --> 01:03:40.200
And we pray like others have prayed that we be responsible before you and walk well before you.

01:03:40.200 --> 01:03:44.200
And like Jane was praying.

01:03:44.200 --> 01:03:50.200
Leave with a fresh understanding of this anointing that you put into this church long ago.

01:03:50.200 --> 01:03:53.200
Genesis 49, verse 8 to 10 from the message.

01:03:53.200 --> 01:03:56.200
Genesis 49, verse 8 to 10 from the message.

01:04:20.200 --> 01:04:22.200
Amen.

01:04:22.200 --> 01:04:24.200
Bless you guys as you go.
