These are passions of the king. 00:15:52.120 --> 00:15:59.120 I mean, you understand passion. There are things you're passionate about. Didn't have a problem driving all the way. 00:16:06.120 --> 00:16:13.120 Didn't have a problem walking. Didn't have a problem getting sunburned, I think. 00:16:13.120 --> 00:16:18.120 Didn't have a problem. Didn't have a problem spending all the time with Derek. 00:16:18.120 --> 00:16:23.120 Why? Because there was a passion that had to be satisfied. 00:16:23.120 --> 00:16:28.120 There is a passion in Christ that must be satisfied, and that is a very simple passion. 00:16:28.120 --> 00:16:35.120 I like going into prisons. I like binding the strong man, and I like bringing out prisoners. 00:16:35.120 --> 00:16:41.120 This is a passion he has. You're a stagehand who hardly anyone sees. 00:27:11.120 --> 00:27:15.120 Occasionally you come on stage and you handle lights. 00:27:15.120 --> 00:27:23.120 And your job is to keep focusing the light on Jesus. 00:27:23.120 --> 00:27:28.120 Because it says the light of the gospel. 00:27:28.120 --> 00:27:33.120 The light of the gospel. 00:27:33.120 --> 00:27:38.120 2 Corinthians 5.19 talks about it. 00:27:38.120 --> 00:27:43.120 The light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ is what changes things. 00:27:43.120 --> 00:27:46.120 The light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ. 00:27:46.120 --> 00:27:53.120 So at the end of the day, in every situation, your job is, can I keep moving this light so that Jesus is made evident? 00:27:53.120 --> 00:27:55.120 And how is he made evident? 00:27:55.120 --> 00:28:00.120 Through your life, through your words, and through your works. 00:28:00.120 --> 00:28:07.120 I know this is not new, but I'll repeat it every time till all of us are only living this way. 00:28:07.120 --> 00:28:14.120 Your intent is, I'll shine the light on Jesus and I'll shine it through my life, through my words, and through my works. 00:28:14.120 --> 00:28:16.120 Continuously this is what you keep doing. 00:28:16.120 --> 00:28:18.120 And what is the intent of teaching? 00:28:18.120 --> 00:28:22.120 The teaching is so that our life becomes something that reflects it more. 00:28:22.120 --> 00:28:26.120 Our words become something that reflects it more. 00:28:26.120 --> 00:28:29.120 And our works become something that reflects it more. 00:28:29.120 --> 00:28:32.120 That's what teaching does. That's what equipping does. 00:28:32.120 --> 00:28:36.120 Equipping helps my life, my works, and my words. 00:28:36.120 --> 00:28:40.120 But intent is, can I be a stagehand that keeps throwing the light on Jesus? 00:28:40.120 --> 00:28:46.120 And every time you throw the light on Jesus, someone will, must, has to get affected by it. 00:28:46.120 --> 00:28:49.120 It's just impossible not to. 00:28:49.120 --> 00:28:52.120 So when I was speaking with these people, they said, 00:28:52.120 --> 00:28:57.120 Oh well, all roads lead to the same God. 00:28:57.120 --> 00:29:00.120 And I said, No they don't. 00:29:00.120 --> 00:29:05.120 And so then I had to tell them, this and this and this are not the same. 00:29:05.120 --> 00:29:07.120 All roads don't lead to the same God. 00:29:07.120 --> 00:29:11.120 There is only one who is called living and his name is Jesus. 00:29:11.120 --> 00:29:17.120 There is only one who is called the King of Kings and his name is Jesus. 00:29:17.120 --> 00:29:20.120 There is no other that claims that. 00:29:20.120 --> 00:29:25.120 All roads do not, do not lead to the same place. 00:29:25.120 --> 00:29:34.120 And so keep this week bringing everything back to letting the light shine on Jesus. 00:29:34.120 --> 00:29:37.120 And whenever that happens, something or the other changes, guys. 00:29:37.120 --> 00:29:42.120 People respond to it. 00:31:11.120 --> 00:31:16.120 Didn't I send you to my own people and yet even though they had eyes open, they were blind. 00:31:16.120 --> 00:31:23.120 But if you can just step away from that responsibility and just focus on, I've been sent to open eyes. 00:31:23.120 --> 00:31:27.120 Once I open your eyes, if you see and you respond, wonderful. 00:31:27.120 --> 00:31:31.120 If you don't, God will come again and help you. 00:31:31.120 --> 00:31:33.120 I've been sent to open eyes. 00:31:33.120 --> 00:31:35.120 Open eyes of those that are blind. 00:31:35.120 --> 00:31:37.120 Guys, there are two kinds of blindness in the Bible. 00:31:37.120 --> 00:31:40.120 One is in 2 Corinthians 3, 14. 00:31:40.120 --> 00:31:48.120 That is the blindness that comes because of legalism and religion. 00:31:48.120 --> 00:31:51.120 Some of this blindness has spilled into the church also. 00:31:51.120 --> 00:31:55.120 But basically there are two kinds of eyes that need to be open. 00:31:55.120 --> 00:31:59.120 One, eyes that have been blinded because of legalism and religion. 00:31:59.120 --> 00:32:02.120 Two, eyes that have been blinded by the God of this age. 00:32:05.120 --> 00:32:10.120 This is in 2 Corinthians 3, 14. 00:32:10.120 --> 00:32:15.120 This is in 2 Corinthians 4, 4. 00:32:15.120 --> 00:32:19.120 Some have their eyes blinded by legalism and religion. 00:32:19.120 --> 00:32:27.120 Show them through your life what it is to live a life of zest, space and time. 00:32:27.120 --> 00:32:31.120 Show them what it is to live in love and joy. 00:32:31.120 --> 00:32:38.120 Guys, the one thing that banishes religion, that puts it in the grave, 00:32:38.120 --> 00:32:46.120 is when religion and legalism meets someone who has joy and love. 00:32:50.120 --> 00:32:54.120 Legalism and religion flee when joy and love are present. 00:32:54.120 --> 00:32:56.120 They can't breathe joy and love. 00:32:56.120 --> 00:32:58.120 They suffocate if joy and love are around. 00:32:58.120 --> 00:33:02.120 Legalism and religion can only prosper when there is no joy and love. 00:33:02.120 --> 00:33:04.120 They can't breathe joy and love. 00:33:04.120 --> 00:33:09.120 Legalism and religion can only prosper when there is no joy and no love. 00:33:14.120 --> 00:33:18.120 And the second one is those that have been blinded by the God of this age. 00:33:18.120 --> 00:33:20.120 2 Corinthians 4, 4 talks about it. 00:33:20.120 --> 00:33:22.120 They've been blinded by the God of this age. 00:33:25.120 --> 00:33:27.120 Yep, blinded by the God of this age. 00:33:27.120 --> 00:33:30.120 Their minds have been blinded by the God of this age. 00:33:30.120 --> 00:33:32.120 And so what is the remedy? 00:33:32.120 --> 00:33:34.120 The remedy is to be a stagehand. 00:33:34.120 --> 00:33:37.120 Because only when you shine the light on Jesus, 00:33:37.120 --> 00:33:42.120 are both these conditions of blindness removed. 00:33:42.120 --> 00:33:45.120 When you shine the light of Jesus, it says in 2 Corinthians 3, 14, 00:33:45.120 --> 00:33:48.120 when they look at Jesus, a veil is removed. 00:33:48.120 --> 00:33:50.120 And it says that about 2 Corinthians 4, 4. 00:33:50.120 --> 00:33:58.120 The God of the age, whose blinded people, once they hear the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, 00:33:58.120 --> 00:34:00.120 their blindness is removed. 00:34:02.120 --> 00:34:20.120 And I've been trying to develop this attitude, 00:34:20.120 --> 00:34:25.120 which is not easy to develop in the Christianity that we have grown up in, 00:34:25.120 --> 00:34:34.120 that Jesus Christ has, that God has reconciled the world through Jesus Christ 00:34:34.120 --> 00:34:40.120 so that he does not reckon sins to mankind anymore. 00:34:40.120 --> 00:34:45.120 Very, very difficult thing for us who have been Christians for too long. 00:34:45.120 --> 00:34:56.120 That God does not count the sins of people against them anymore. 00:34:56.120 --> 00:35:00.120 It almost goes against everything you believe in. 00:35:00.120 --> 00:35:03.120 Because you divide the world into two. 00:35:03.120 --> 00:35:12.120 And for Paul to say, God through Christ has reconciled the entire world. 00:35:12.120 --> 00:35:22.120 And he does not count the sins of mankind against them anymore. 00:35:22.120 --> 00:35:26.120 2 Corinthians 5, 19. 00:35:26.120 --> 00:35:35.120 So in your approaching people, you can't count against them, reckon to them, the sins they are committing. 00:35:35.120 --> 00:35:37.120 Why can't you count their sins against them? Simpson, who's going to be released shortly, has been in prison for nine years and is coming out right now, 00:36:01.120 --> 00:36:05.120 you cannot reckon to him the sins for which he has been punished anymore 00:36:05.120 --> 00:36:09.120 because he has been judged and he has paid for it. 00:36:09.120 --> 00:36:14.120 But in our case and in the case of the entire universe and every human being that exists, 00:36:14.120 --> 00:36:18.120 their sins cannot be reckoned to them anymore because they have been judged. 00:36:18.120 --> 00:36:20.120 How were they judged?
