00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:04.200
Hey guys, so we keep talking about this whole idea of prevailing prayer.

00:00:04.200 --> 00:00:05.900
That's what we continue with.

00:00:05.900 --> 00:00:09.600
And when I last left, I was talking about the cost of prevailing prayer.

00:00:09.600 --> 00:00:20.500
What's the cost that Acts 29 has to pay if we are to pray the kind of prayer that engages the enemy,

00:00:20.500 --> 00:00:26.500
engages the world, engages the devil, and contends as in battles,

00:00:26.500 --> 00:00:29.600
and eventually overcomes taking away spoil?

00:00:29.600 --> 00:00:32.200
That's the idea of prevailing prayer.

00:00:32.200 --> 00:00:36.300
I already explained that you can listen to the past teachings to get an idea.

00:00:36.300 --> 00:00:42.200
And I think this guy, Jeevan, talked about some aspect of prevailing prayer last week.

00:00:42.200 --> 00:00:45.600
And the thing is, if churches don't engage in prevailing prayer,

00:00:45.600 --> 00:00:47.300
one of these three things happen.

00:00:47.300 --> 00:00:52.500
Either they get ravaged as in attacked because they touch something that they're not ready for.

00:00:52.500 --> 00:00:54.400
It's like trying to fight Hulk Hogan.

00:00:54.400 --> 00:00:56.200
You wouldn't know who Hulk Hogan is.

00:00:56.200 --> 00:00:58.900
It's like trying to...

00:00:58.900 --> 00:01:00.000
You do?

00:01:00.000 --> 00:01:00.700
Oh, okay.

00:01:00.700 --> 00:01:02.800
So it's like trying to fight Kamal.

00:01:02.800 --> 00:01:04.600
You get beaten.

00:01:04.600 --> 00:01:08.800
So you got to build your muscle before you fight.

00:01:08.800 --> 00:01:12.200
One day Kamal will get this mic from me and say things.

00:01:12.200 --> 00:01:18.700
So either if you don't prepare for prevailing prayer, you get ravaged or you get sterilized as in,

00:01:18.700 --> 00:01:21.700
let me use a harsher word, castrated.

00:01:21.700 --> 00:01:22.400
Why?

00:01:22.400 --> 00:01:26.100
Because churches become sterile in their approach to prayer,

00:01:26.100 --> 00:01:30.200
because they're praying for things that are so...

00:01:30.200 --> 00:01:32.800
You don't need God for it.

00:01:32.800 --> 00:01:36.000
An expert or a doctor can do it for you.

00:01:36.000 --> 00:01:42.900
So you get sterilized if you don't go down this route of prevailing prayer

00:01:42.900 --> 00:01:46.900
or you get deceived where you think you're doing well, but nothing really is happening.

00:01:46.900 --> 00:01:49.900
And that's why I think the whole idea of prevailing prayer is important.

00:01:49.900 --> 00:01:52.500
And why did we say we need to engage in prevailing prayer?

00:01:52.500 --> 00:01:56.000
Because Jesus is building a prevailing church.

00:01:56.000 --> 00:01:59.500
The very word prevail carries the sense of,

00:01:59.500 --> 00:02:02.900
will you engage and contend in battle to overcome?

00:02:02.900 --> 00:02:08.600
And that's not the nature of the church, even though that is the nature of the head of the church, Christ.

00:02:08.600 --> 00:02:11.100
So here is the cost of prevailing prayer.

00:02:11.100 --> 00:02:14.600
The first cost, and we didn't talk about this the last time,

00:02:14.600 --> 00:02:20.000
the first cost is you can never forget the mission of the church.

00:02:20.000 --> 00:02:25.800
You know, every three weeks the church forgets its mission.

00:02:25.800 --> 00:02:32.000
If you want to, if we want to grow in prevailing prayer, we cannot forget the mission of the church.

00:02:32.000 --> 00:02:33.700
We cannot forget the mission of the church.

00:02:33.700 --> 00:02:38.000
And most churches forget their mission after the message.

00:02:38.000 --> 00:02:40.300
Or we forget the mission every three weeks.

00:02:40.300 --> 00:02:41.900
And what's the mission of the church?

00:02:41.900 --> 00:02:49.700
The mission of the church is to enter Satan's house

00:02:49.700 --> 00:03:06.100
and plunder his house, taking people out of his clutches.

00:03:06.100 --> 00:03:10.800
When was the last time you actively thought of this as the mission of Acts 29?

00:03:10.800 --> 00:03:12.800
And when you say Acts 29, who are we talking about?

00:03:12.800 --> 00:03:15.700
Jacob? No. Who are we talking about? An entity called the church? No.

00:03:15.700 --> 00:03:18.200
We're talking about you.

00:03:18.200 --> 00:03:24.000
It is the mission of our church, not our church, it is the mission of Christ's church to go.

00:03:24.000 --> 00:03:32.800
So it requires that you go and that you enter Satan's house,

00:03:32.800 --> 00:03:35.500
plunder his possessions and carry them off.

00:03:35.500 --> 00:03:38.100
Plunder his possessions and carry them off.

00:03:38.100 --> 00:03:39.700
Plunder his possessions.

00:03:39.700 --> 00:03:41.700
And what are his possessions?

00:03:41.700 --> 00:03:45.000
It's fascinating how people talk about,

00:03:45.100 --> 00:03:48.400
Oh, we will plunder devil and we'll get the wealth of the wicked.

00:03:48.400 --> 00:03:51.300
Jesus is looking for the wicked, we are looking for the wealth.

00:03:51.300 --> 00:03:54.200
Something's wrong with us.

00:03:54.200 --> 00:03:57.800
Oh, wealth transfer. The wealth of the unrighteous will come to the righteous.

00:03:57.800 --> 00:04:00.300
No, no, we want the unrighteous.

00:04:00.300 --> 00:04:01.500
We're not looking for wealth.

00:04:01.500 --> 00:04:08.100
Isaiah 45 verse 1 to 3 says that Satan has bars of iron and gates

00:04:08.100 --> 00:04:13.800
that prevent people who are kept captive from coming out.

00:04:13.800 --> 00:04:18.000
That he uses all kinds of methods, condemnation,

00:04:18.000 --> 00:04:27.700
sin, sickness, demonic bondage,

00:04:27.700 --> 00:04:37.300
depression, hurt, pain, trauma.

00:04:37.300 --> 00:04:41.500
All these things and many more are used by Satan to keep people inside.

00:04:41.500 --> 00:04:46.000
And it is the mission of the church to go and plunder his possessions and set them free.

00:04:46.000 --> 00:04:47.300
That's one of the missions of the church.

00:04:47.300 --> 00:04:50.000
When did you actively think of that last week?

00:04:50.000 --> 00:04:56.800
And if you didn't think of it, and if I didn't think of it, why didn't we think of it?

00:04:56.800 --> 00:05:02.200
Because for some strange reason, the church has become so distorted in its own image

00:05:02.200 --> 00:05:06.200
that we just like looking at the mirror, we see a nice church and we go home.

00:05:06.200 --> 00:05:10.900
But Jesus said this thing that you do on Sunday, I'm getting weary of, I hold my nose at times.

00:05:10.900 --> 00:05:18.400
I like your worship, but then everything you do, Jacob, is for yourself, not for others.

00:05:18.400 --> 00:05:21.700
Guys, here's a question we need to ask and it's a very important question.

00:05:21.700 --> 00:05:24.800
Why are we raising a strong church?

00:05:24.800 --> 00:05:28.000
Why are we raising strong Christians?

00:05:28.000 --> 00:05:32.200
There's only one reason why we are raising a strong church and raising strong Christians.

00:05:32.200 --> 00:05:36.800
For the exact reason that the father raised his son strong.

00:05:36.800 --> 00:05:39.200
Why did he raise his son strong?

00:05:39.200 --> 00:05:41.300
Why did he raise a strong Jesus Christ?

00:05:41.300 --> 00:05:43.000
For one reason only.

00:05:43.000 --> 00:05:49.500
So that that strong Jesus Christ could go out and pour out his life for the sake of others.

00:05:49.500 --> 00:05:51.800
Why are you being raised as a strong Christian?

00:05:51.800 --> 00:05:53.800
Why are you being raised as a strong church?

00:05:53.800 --> 00:05:55.000
For one reason only.

00:05:55.000 --> 00:06:01.000
That from Monday to Saturday, you can go and pour yourself out, spend yourself,

00:06:01.000 --> 00:06:04.500
so that when you come back here on Sunday or during the week, when you go for your house church,

00:06:04.500 --> 00:06:05.900
you get strong again.

00:06:05.900 --> 00:06:12.200
You have only one reason for being strong, so that you can be weak during the week, by pouring yourself out.

00:06:12.200 --> 00:06:15.100
Why should Matt and Rachel raise that boy?

00:06:15.100 --> 00:06:16.200
Only for one reason.

00:06:16.200 --> 00:06:19.700
So that boy, when he grows up, will pour out his life for the sake of others.

00:06:19.700 --> 00:06:24.900
Any other reason for raising that child is self-centered.

00:06:24.900 --> 00:06:27.100
And they have an advantage that they know it now.

00:06:27.100 --> 00:06:28.300
Our parents didn't know it.

00:06:28.300 --> 00:06:30.300
Some of us as parents didn't know it.

00:06:30.300 --> 00:06:35.400
We raise doctors, lawyers, engineers, sons and daughters, so that you can be marvelous in the world.

00:06:35.400 --> 00:06:38.200
And God raised his son Jesus for just one reason.

00:06:38.200 --> 00:06:46.400
I want a strong son who can pour out his life for the sake of others.

00:06:46.400 --> 00:06:48.100
Why did he send the Holy Spirit?

00:06:48.100 --> 00:06:49.300
Same reason.

00:06:49.300 --> 00:06:54.200
I want to send you the Holy Spirit so that you may be endowed with power from on high,

00:06:54.200 --> 00:06:55.700
so that you may become what?

00:06:55.700 --> 00:07:04.100
Witnesses that pour out your life for the sake of the Gospel, the sake of Christ and the sake of others.

00:07:04.100 --> 00:07:06.900
That's the only reason.

00:07:06.900 --> 00:07:10.100
How did we get it so wrong?

00:07:10.100 --> 00:07:12.000
Imagine this scene.

00:07:12.000 --> 00:07:18.300
Peter and the 120 on the day of Pentecost, waiting for the Holy Spirit to fall.

00:07:18.300 --> 00:07:20.300
And suddenly the Holy Spirit comes upon them.

00:07:20.300 --> 00:07:22.600
And he's like flames of fire on their head.

00:07:22.600 --> 00:07:24.100
And Peter's getting really excited.

00:07:24.100 --> 00:07:25.400
Oh, the Holy Spirit's come.

00:07:25.400 --> 00:07:26.600
Oh, the glory of God is here.

00:07:26.600 --> 00:07:27.200
Holy Spirit's come.

00:07:27.200 --> 00:07:29.700
And they keep moving to see whether the flame will move.

00:07:29.700 --> 00:07:30.600
That's what we do in church.

00:07:30.600 --> 00:07:32.800
The Holy Spirit falls and people want to fall over.

00:07:32.800 --> 00:07:33.700
People want to shiver.

00:07:33.700 --> 00:07:36.900
People want to shake their finger and their neck.

00:07:36.900 --> 00:07:39.900
We are interested in the little things that happen when the Holy Spirit comes.

00:07:39.900 --> 00:07:40.900
What does Peter do?

00:07:40.900 --> 00:07:43.200
Peter instead stands up and begins to speak from the Word.

00:07:43.200 --> 00:07:44.200
And then what do they do?

00:07:44.200 --> 00:07:48.700
They go out.

00:07:48.700 --> 00:07:53.700
The saddest thing that has happened to the church is we think we quench the Holy Spirit by singing a wrong song

00:07:53.700 --> 00:07:57.500
or by getting up or sitting down during worship or when your baby starts to cry.

00:07:57.500 --> 00:08:00.300
Oh, the Holy Spirit was quenched because the baby started to cry.

00:08:00.400 --> 00:08:06.100
No, the Holy Spirit is quenched when the one reason he came down to the earth for is not being met.

00:08:06.100 --> 00:08:09.900
The Holy Spirit is being quenched on a regular basis across churches

00:08:09.900 --> 00:08:13.400
because the one reason he came down for, which was to fall upon people

00:08:13.400 --> 00:08:16.400
so that they may be strong to become martyrs, is not being met.

00:08:16.400 --> 00:08:21.100
And the Holy Spirit is being quenched day after day after day in churches across the world

00:08:21.100 --> 00:08:22.300
because we've forgotten our mission.

00:08:30.300 --> 00:08:34.300
You can't forget your mission this week or next week

00:08:34.300 --> 00:08:40.300
because I have every intent to remind myself and you that this is the reason the church exists.

00:08:47.300 --> 00:08:52.300
It is our mission to profess the Holy Spirit.

00:08:52.300 --> 00:08:54.300
We are not going to forget it.

00:08:54.300 --> 00:08:56.300
We are going to remember it.

00:08:57.300 --> 00:09:02.300
It is our mission to profess and demonstrate.

00:09:03.300 --> 00:09:08.300
It is our mission to profess and demonstrate the gospel.

00:09:08.300 --> 00:09:10.300
What is the gospel?

00:09:10.300 --> 00:09:12.300
The gospel is preaching material.

00:09:12.300 --> 00:09:14.300
What do you mean, preaching material?

00:09:14.300 --> 00:09:18.300
It is the story of Jesus' life, death and ascension.

00:09:18.300 --> 00:09:21.300
Life, death, resurrection and ascension.

00:09:21.300 --> 00:09:25.300
The story of Jesus is the gospel.

00:09:27.300 --> 00:09:32.300
It is your mission to demonstrate and profess the gospel.

00:09:32.300 --> 00:09:34.300
It is your mission.

00:09:35.300 --> 00:09:41.300
If Acts 29 fails at this, then it doesn't matter how apostolic it is, how prophetic it is,

00:09:41.300 --> 00:09:45.300
how people get healed, how miracles happen, how wonderful worship is,

00:09:45.300 --> 00:09:50.300
how we may or may not speak in tongues, how we may or may not plant churches in Czechoslovakia.

00:09:50.300 --> 00:09:58.300
It doesn't matter if Acts 29 fails to profess and demonstrate the gospel with words and with our behavior.

00:09:58.300 --> 00:10:00.300
Proclaim it.

00:10:00.300 --> 00:10:02.300
We fail in our mission.

00:10:02.300 --> 00:10:03.300
It quenches the Holy Spirit.

00:10:03.300 --> 00:10:07.300
We defeat Jesus' purpose of putting our people together.

00:10:07.300 --> 00:10:10.300
Thank God we don't have too many pastors.

00:10:10.300 --> 00:10:11.300
Just one.

00:10:11.300 --> 00:10:13.300
So we can't even say it's a pastor's job.

00:10:13.300 --> 00:10:14.300
Just one.

00:10:14.300 --> 00:10:17.300
Oh yeah, then there is Jeevan who thinks he's a pastor and Derek also.

00:10:17.300 --> 00:10:20.300
But besides them.

00:10:25.300 --> 00:10:28.300
The thing is, this is the job of the entire church.

00:10:28.300 --> 00:10:33.300
And there is absolutely no excuse not to do it anymore.

00:10:33.300 --> 00:10:38.300
It's going to be very, very difficult because it goes against the grain of everything that we are.

00:10:38.300 --> 00:10:44.300
But if we keep hammering on this message for the next seven months, perhaps something will change.

00:10:44.300 --> 00:10:47.300
I can't escape it now because I've been teaching it for a while.

00:10:47.300 --> 00:10:48.300
I can't escape it.

00:10:48.300 --> 00:10:50.300
Every time I meet somebody, I remember this.

00:10:50.300 --> 00:10:53.300
It's very inconvenient.

00:10:53.300 --> 00:10:56.300
Very inconvenient.

00:11:04.300 --> 00:11:05.300
What is our mission?

00:11:05.300 --> 00:11:08.300
Our mission is to make disciples.

00:11:10.300 --> 00:11:13.300
By training them.

00:11:15.300 --> 00:11:18.300
In households.

00:11:19.300 --> 00:11:22.300
That keep multiplying.

00:11:23.300 --> 00:11:26.300
As disciples increase.

00:11:26.300 --> 00:11:29.300
So here's the first one.

00:11:29.300 --> 00:11:32.300
Here's the second one.

00:11:32.300 --> 00:11:35.300
Here's the third one.

00:11:35.300 --> 00:11:38.300
These, this is the mission of the church.

00:11:38.300 --> 00:11:43.300
And if you want to prevail in prayer, it is important to know the mission of the church.

00:11:43.300 --> 00:11:50.300
Otherwise we spend most of our prayer praying for things that are important but are not primary.

00:11:56.300 --> 00:12:00.300
It's going to be very hard for me to finish messages nowadays.

00:12:00.300 --> 00:12:03.300
But that's okay.

00:12:03.300 --> 00:12:05.300
So let me go over this again.

00:12:05.300 --> 00:12:06.300
What is the mission of the church?

00:12:06.300 --> 00:12:11.300
If you want to prevail in prayer, if you want to become a strong church, which I strongly desire for us.

00:12:11.300 --> 00:12:16.300
Guys, the thing is I have absolutely no interest in having a strong church because I'm the pastor of the church.

00:12:16.300 --> 00:12:21.300
I don't get two hoots anymore for that kind of importance.

00:12:21.300 --> 00:12:26.300
But the reason I want to raise a strong church is we become strong for a reason.

00:12:26.300 --> 00:12:29.300
That we now go and expend everything we are.

00:12:29.300 --> 00:12:30.300
We pour it out.

00:12:30.300 --> 00:12:36.300
We lay our lives down for the sake of Christ, for the sake of his story and for the sake of others.

00:12:36.300 --> 00:12:39.300
And now we begin to fulfill the reason we were placed on earth.

00:12:43.300 --> 00:12:47.300
My prayer before I come and preach now is not that it be a great preaching.

00:12:47.300 --> 00:12:56.300
My prayer is, oh God, let everyone who hears what I have to say that comes from you have their minds enlightened and not dulled to this truth.

00:12:56.300 --> 00:12:59.300
Because this truth has been hidden for more than 2000 years.

00:12:59.300 --> 00:13:00.300
It is demonic.

00:13:01.300 --> 00:13:05.300
Do you understand that for 2000 years this truth has been hidden?

00:13:05.300 --> 00:13:09.300
Though Paul has been saying I made it plain, I made it plain, I made it plain.

00:13:09.300 --> 00:13:17.300
Why is it that churches meet again and again on Sunday after Sunday after Sunday and they call it church and nothing else happens?

00:13:19.300 --> 00:13:23.300
Because this is the truth that will set people free and it is demonically hidden.

00:13:24.300 --> 00:13:33.300
My prayer now when I come to praise, oh God, let Wayne, let Ryan, let Jacob, let Oak, let our minds be open, let our minds be enlightened to receive this truth.

00:13:33.300 --> 00:13:36.300
And once it is received, let something begin to happen.

00:13:36.300 --> 00:13:39.300
And if it takes six or seven months, so be it.

00:13:39.300 --> 00:13:40.300
But it must happen.

00:13:43.300 --> 00:13:46.300
Because otherwise we are quenching the Holy Spirit.

00:13:46.300 --> 00:13:56.300
And so the mission of the church is to enter Satan's house and plunder his possessions, taking people out of his clutches.

00:13:56.300 --> 00:14:05.300
The second mission is to profess and demonstrate the gospel because it is the only thing that can rescue and transform a person.

00:14:05.300 --> 00:14:09.300
There is nothing else on earth that can rescue a person or transform the person.

00:14:09.300 --> 00:14:10.300
Nothing. Nothing.

00:14:10.300 --> 00:14:16.300
It is highly inconvenient, but someone inconvenience themselves to save me and to save you.

00:14:16.300 --> 00:14:18.300
Someone inconvenience themselves.

00:14:22.300 --> 00:14:25.300
And the third thing is make disciples by training.

00:14:25.300 --> 00:14:28.300
It is not enough to get someone to be rescued and transformed.

00:14:28.300 --> 00:14:32.300
Now the person must be changed through showing them to be saved.

00:14:32.300 --> 00:14:34.300
And the third thing is to be able to do it.

00:14:34.300 --> 00:14:37.300
It is not enough to get someone to be rescued and transformed.

00:14:37.300 --> 00:14:42.300
Now the person must be changed through showing them what it is to live like Christ.

00:14:42.300 --> 00:14:43.300
And that is called discipling.

00:14:43.300 --> 00:14:50.300
And Jesus' last words in Matthew 28, 18 to 20 was, make disciples of all nations.

00:14:50.300 --> 00:14:53.300
And it was not given to few.

00:14:53.300 --> 00:14:59.300
It was given to Kamal and Anne, Elmer and Anne, Jibin and Abel with an E and an I.

00:15:00.300 --> 00:15:04.300
This was what was given to us. All of us.

00:15:06.300 --> 00:15:08.300
Raise your son Matt and Rachel.

00:15:08.300 --> 00:15:14.300
That he be a strong boy who will be willing to lay his life down for causes beyond him.

00:15:14.300 --> 00:15:16.300
Teach him when he is young.

00:15:16.300 --> 00:15:20.300
And he will have no problems embracing who Jesus Christ is and the message of Christ.

00:15:20.300 --> 00:15:24.300
You have such an advantage as parents to know these truths.

00:15:25.300 --> 00:15:37.300
Because everybody else sitting here, starting with me, have been raised in self-centered ovens that produce stuff that is so self-focused.

00:15:37.300 --> 00:15:43.300
And I am not wrong in saying that because otherwise we wouldn't be where we are at.

00:15:46.300 --> 00:15:53.300
If you go to Romans 15, verse 26 and 27, or Romans 16, verse 25 and 26, let me just check.

00:15:53.300 --> 00:16:02.300
You'll find that Jesus says, Paul is bringing this up and God is saying, hey, why is it that these things are hidden when I've made them manifest?

00:16:02.300 --> 00:16:11.300
Romans 16, verse, Romans 16, 25 and 26.

00:16:11.300 --> 00:16:13.300
Romans 16, 25 and 26.

00:16:13.300 --> 00:16:17.300
Now to him who is able to establish you by my gospel.

00:16:17.300 --> 00:16:21.300
I love it. Paul says my gospel. He doesn't even call it the gospel of Jesus.

00:16:21.300 --> 00:16:24.300
He calls it my gospel. Why? Because guys, remember one thing.

00:16:24.300 --> 00:16:28.300
The epistles came first, the gospels came later.

00:16:28.300 --> 00:16:33.300
When Paul was preaching, he didn't have a gospel that he could refer to.

00:16:33.300 --> 00:16:35.300
He couldn't say John, Mark, Luke.

00:16:35.300 --> 00:16:38.300
He wasn't even there when Jesus was teaching.

00:16:38.300 --> 00:16:42.300
He was a rebel who was against the people of Christ.

00:16:42.300 --> 00:16:47.300
And so where did Paul receive his gospel from? He received it directly from Christ.

00:16:47.300 --> 00:16:50.300
He calls it my gospel, the one I received from Christ.

00:16:50.300 --> 00:16:58.300
And he says that now unto him who is able to establish you by my gospel and this proclamation of Jesus Christ.

00:16:58.300 --> 00:17:00.300
He uses three words again and again.

00:17:00.300 --> 00:17:05.300
Proclamation of Jesus Christ according to the revelation of mystery hidden for long ages past.

00:17:05.300 --> 00:17:07.300
Meaning for all this time it's been hidden.

00:17:07.300 --> 00:17:13.300
Poor Paul, he must be sweating it out in heaven saying I preached this and it's gotten hidden again.

00:17:13.300 --> 00:17:16.300
When it is supposed to be proclaimed and revealed, it's hidden again.

00:17:16.300 --> 00:17:17.300
It's hidden again.

00:17:17.300 --> 00:17:19.300
And then he goes on to say in verse 26,

00:17:19.300 --> 00:17:23.300
But now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God

00:17:23.300 --> 00:17:28.300
so that all nations might believe and obey him to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ. Amen.

00:17:28.300 --> 00:17:30.300
This is God's intent.

00:17:30.300 --> 00:17:32.300
This is God's intent.

00:17:32.300 --> 00:17:37.300
You better shape up Prashanth and start proclaiming and revealing and making it known.

00:17:37.300 --> 00:17:39.300
I'm just picking on Prashanth because I saw him.

00:17:39.300 --> 00:17:44.300
Because if this mission is not at the heart of the church, it quenches the Holy Spirit.

00:17:44.300 --> 00:17:46.300
For this reason the Holy Spirit was sent.

00:17:46.300 --> 00:17:49.300
For this reason the Holy Spirit was sent.

00:17:54.300 --> 00:18:00.300
He is hardly interested in making you laugh or have you roll down the pews.

00:18:00.300 --> 00:18:03.300
You think that's what his intent is?

00:18:03.300 --> 00:18:06.300
He's not even interested in you receiving a few prophetic words.

00:18:06.300 --> 00:18:09.300
Those things are things that happen on the side.

00:18:09.300 --> 00:18:13.300
His primary intent was Acts chapter 1, 8 and Acts chapter 2.

00:18:13.300 --> 00:18:17.300
I will come upon you so that you may have power, so that you may go and be witnesses to me in Jerusalem,

00:18:17.300 --> 00:18:19.300
Judea, Samaria and the ends of the earth.

00:18:19.300 --> 00:18:24.300
So if you're meant to be in Jerusalem, stick to Vancouver.

00:18:24.300 --> 00:18:27.300
So if you're meant to be in Jerusalem, stick to Vancouver.

00:18:27.300 --> 00:18:30.300
So if you're meant to be in Jerusalem, stick to Vancouver.

00:18:30.300 --> 00:18:35.300
If you look at the prayers prayed in the book of Acts,

00:18:35.300 --> 00:18:38.300
If you look at the prayers prayed in the book of Acts,

00:18:38.300 --> 00:18:43.300
will you find one prayer that talks about the things that we pray for?

00:18:43.300 --> 00:18:45.300
No.

00:18:45.300 --> 00:18:48.300
All the prayers are towards this one end.

00:18:48.300 --> 00:18:51.300
Enter Satan's house and plunder.

00:18:51.300 --> 00:18:53.300
Give us the boldness to do that.

00:18:53.300 --> 00:18:56.300
Give us the boldness to profess and demonstrate the gospel,

00:18:56.300 --> 00:18:59.300
which is the only power of rescue and transformation.

00:18:59.300 --> 00:19:01.300
Or give us the power to make disciples.

00:19:01.300 --> 00:19:03.300
This is what the book of Acts is full of.

00:19:03.300 --> 00:19:07.300
What are the apostolic prayers or the prayers that the apostles prayed in the epistles that they wrote to people?

00:19:07.300 --> 00:19:08.300
Same thing.

00:19:08.300 --> 00:19:11.300
Where are our prayers?

00:19:11.300 --> 00:19:17.300
Most people at that time were set free by learning truths than praying for them.

00:19:17.300 --> 00:19:20.300
We shall do that too and we shall pray for our requests.

00:19:20.300 --> 00:19:24.300
But my God, prevailing prayer is a completely different ballgame.

00:19:30.300 --> 00:19:36.300
Prayers remain at the bless me level only when a people forget the mission of the church.

00:19:36.300 --> 00:19:38.300
Any questions before we go on?

00:19:38.300 --> 00:19:42.300
Any questions?

00:19:42.300 --> 00:19:43.300
Ask guys.

00:19:43.300 --> 00:19:46.300
If you don't agree, stand up and tell me why you don't agree.

00:19:46.300 --> 00:19:49.300
If you agree, tell me why you agree.

00:19:49.300 --> 00:19:56.300
I don't mind a response to such passionate preaching.

00:19:56.300 --> 00:20:00.300
Let the zeal of the Lord accomplish this among us.

00:20:00.300 --> 00:20:07.300
It is important guys that we return to the very basics and the roots of why the Spirit of God came upon the church.

00:20:07.300 --> 00:20:08.300
We've lost it.

00:20:08.300 --> 00:20:09.300
How can we lose it?

00:20:09.300 --> 00:20:12.300
Do you know something that in a sense,

00:20:12.300 --> 00:20:17.300
our households that are running Langley in Richmond will again become like a regular church.

00:20:17.300 --> 00:20:18.300
Only it doesn't meet on a Sunday.

00:20:18.300 --> 00:20:21.300
It meets on a Wednesday because we lose the mission of the church.

00:20:21.300 --> 00:20:23.300
And the mission of the church is these three things.

00:20:23.300 --> 00:20:28.300
But do we keep this in mind because every two, three weeks I forget this and I have to return to it.

00:20:31.300 --> 00:20:33.300
Is this the reason you live?

00:20:33.300 --> 00:20:38.300
If you think I'm accusing you and pointing a finger at you and making you feel guilty and condemned,

00:20:38.300 --> 00:20:40.300
it is truly not my intent.

00:20:40.300 --> 00:20:42.300
But if there is a sense of guilt,

00:20:42.300 --> 00:20:47.300
change it into remorse that will help the Holy Spirit work with you because it's working with me.

00:20:47.300 --> 00:20:51.300
I can't stand the fact that as a pastor, this is the last thing I will touch.

00:20:51.300 --> 00:20:54.300
The ones who preach the gospel, demonstrate it and profess it the least.

00:20:54.300 --> 00:21:00.300
Demonstrate perhaps yes, but the ones who profess the gospel the least are apostles, prophets, teachers, evangelists and pastors.

00:21:01.300 --> 00:21:03.300
Because they are surrounded by Christian people.

00:21:03.300 --> 00:21:05.300
They look at a wall, there's a Christian poster on it.

00:21:05.300 --> 00:21:06.300
They listen to music.

00:21:06.300 --> 00:21:08.300
It's either from Sydney or from Los Angeles.

00:21:10.300 --> 00:21:17.300
There's nothing that apostles, prophets, teachers, evangelists and pastors do that is even remotely missional.

00:21:18.300 --> 00:21:19.300
And I'm ashamed of it.

00:21:19.300 --> 00:21:22.300
I'm ashamed that apostles and prophets do not preach the gospel.

00:21:22.300 --> 00:21:23.300
What did Paul do?

00:21:23.300 --> 00:21:25.300
Paul said, I'm first the minister of the gospel.

00:21:25.300 --> 00:21:26.300
The three things Paul would do.

00:21:26.300 --> 00:21:31.300
He would go stand in places where the gospel has not been preached and he would stand and profess the gospel.

00:21:31.300 --> 00:21:34.300
Then he would gather people and build households.

00:21:34.300 --> 00:21:35.300
Then he would teach them.

00:21:35.300 --> 00:21:37.300
Pastors don't do this anymore.

00:21:37.300 --> 00:21:39.300
I put a stop to it in my life.

00:21:40.300 --> 00:21:43.300
But it's time for you to put a stop to it too and start a new cycle.

00:21:45.300 --> 00:21:47.300
Everything else is easy, guys.

00:21:47.300 --> 00:21:48.300
Everything else is easy, guys.

00:21:48.300 --> 00:21:49.300
Everything else is easy.

00:21:49.300 --> 00:21:51.300
The one thing that will be opposed.

00:21:51.300 --> 00:21:53.300
The one thing that will be highly inconvenient.

00:21:53.300 --> 00:21:59.300
The one thing that will go against the grain of everything you want to be in terms of being sophisticated in the world.

00:21:59.300 --> 00:22:03.300
Is once you start going down this road, it will be very inconvenient.

00:22:04.300 --> 00:22:06.300
And don't wait to do it when you retire.

00:22:06.300 --> 00:22:08.300
When you retire, everything is easy.

00:22:08.300 --> 00:22:10.300
Because they think you're old and you don't know anything.

00:22:12.300 --> 00:22:14.300
I agree. It's not true at all.

00:22:14.300 --> 00:22:16.300
I agree. It's not true at all.

00:22:16.300 --> 00:22:18.300
But people think, oh, they've retired.

00:22:18.300 --> 00:22:21.300
Now they can preach the gospel because they've got nothing else to do.

00:22:21.300 --> 00:22:22.300
Not true.

00:22:23.300 --> 00:22:24.300
But I'll tell you something.

00:22:24.300 --> 00:22:26.300
In the minds of young people, that's what they think.

00:22:26.300 --> 00:22:28.300
We'll do this when we retire.

00:22:28.300 --> 00:22:30.300
Right now we have our jobs and things to hold on to.

00:22:30.300 --> 00:22:32.300
So now is not a convenient time.

00:22:32.300 --> 00:22:33.300
We'll do it after retirement.

00:22:36.300 --> 00:22:38.300
May you survive till you retire.

00:22:39.300 --> 00:22:41.300
Because many of us may not.

00:22:41.300 --> 00:22:45.300
Because we fail to fulfill the reason we were placed on the earth.

00:22:47.300 --> 00:22:50.300
Take a while you're coming so strong and harsh.

00:22:50.300 --> 00:22:52.300
You just came back after 11 days.

00:22:52.300 --> 00:22:54.300
Couldn't you start with something nicer?

00:22:54.300 --> 00:22:55.300
Not interested.

00:22:59.300 --> 00:23:01.300
The thing is you guys can't boot me out.

00:23:01.300 --> 00:23:03.300
Any other church, they can ask me not to come back.

00:23:03.300 --> 00:23:07.300
Just think, you can't boot me out till I do something morally reprehensible.

00:23:10.300 --> 00:23:11.300
Highly unlikely.

00:23:11.300 --> 00:23:14.300
So any questions?

00:23:16.300 --> 00:23:18.300
About the moral reprehensibility?

00:23:24.300 --> 00:23:26.300
I'm not interested in the answer to that question.

00:23:26.300 --> 00:23:28.300
I'm not interested in the answer to that question.

00:23:28.300 --> 00:23:30.300
I'm not interested in the answer to that question.

00:23:30.300 --> 00:23:32.300
I'm not interested in the answer to that question.

00:23:32.300 --> 00:23:37.300
A decade ago I heard people saying that the church is like a church that I'm watching.

00:23:37.300 --> 00:23:39.300
Everybody is entranced in there.

00:23:39.300 --> 00:23:41.300
That a whole people is going around.

00:23:41.300 --> 00:23:45.300
But they're not going out and taking what's available.

00:23:47.300 --> 00:23:52.300
It's scary and it's tough and I'm terrified by what they're following to do.

00:23:52.300 --> 00:23:54.300
But I think it's good and it really helps us.

00:24:00.300 --> 00:24:05.300
It doesn't matter whether you're Dagmar who might be at present the oldest one in this church.

00:24:05.300 --> 00:24:11.300
And it doesn't matter if you're Don who is the youngest one in the church.

00:24:11.300 --> 00:24:13.300
Or at least behaves that way.

00:24:14.300 --> 00:24:17.300
But it's going to change starting tomorrow because he's going to work.

00:24:17.300 --> 00:24:20.300
Just make sure you don't call your boss uncle.

00:24:23.300 --> 00:24:25.300
The first job I had,

00:24:26.300 --> 00:24:30.300
I go and there's this guy and my parents knew him.

00:24:30.300 --> 00:24:34.300
And so I go up to him and I have a question and he's down the hall and I'm saying,

00:24:34.300 --> 00:24:36.300
Uncle, uncle, just a second.

00:24:36.300 --> 00:24:40.300
And he couldn't look anywhere because I'm calling him an uncle in front of everybody.

00:24:40.300 --> 00:24:42.300
So just don't do that.

00:24:42.300 --> 00:24:46.300
So Derek, you're in a separate building, right?

00:24:46.300 --> 00:24:48.300
It's not the same building.

00:24:48.300 --> 00:24:52.300
Otherwise you'll hear this voice from across the corner, Derek, care.

00:24:52.300 --> 00:24:54.300
And he'll start off.

00:24:54.300 --> 00:24:57.300
Sorry, let me go back to what I was talking about.

00:25:01.300 --> 00:25:06.300
That's how Don calls his brother when he wants something or when he's highly irritated,

00:25:06.300 --> 00:25:08.300
which is what he is most of the time.

00:25:08.300 --> 00:25:10.300
So that's how it comes across.

00:25:10.300 --> 00:25:11.300
Yeah.

00:25:11.300 --> 00:25:13.300
So here's the thing, guys.

00:25:13.300 --> 00:25:14.300
Where will be?

00:25:14.300 --> 00:25:15.300
Yeah.

00:25:15.300 --> 00:25:17.300
Doesn't matter whether it's Dagmar or Don.

00:25:17.300 --> 00:25:19.300
My God, that was a rabbit trail.

00:25:19.300 --> 00:25:22.300
Doesn't matter whether it was Dagmar, whether it's Dagmar or Don.

00:25:22.300 --> 00:25:23.300
Here's the thinking.

00:25:23.300 --> 00:25:27.300
I am going to be made strong today so that I can pour out my life.

00:25:27.300 --> 00:25:30.300
And that is the only reason why Holy Spirit is interested in making me strong.

00:25:30.300 --> 00:25:36.300
It is the only reason why God will bless me in any degree so that I have strength in different areas.

00:25:36.300 --> 00:25:38.300
And I'm going to be strong today.

00:25:38.300 --> 00:25:40.300
I'm going to be strong today.

00:25:40.300 --> 00:25:46.300
I am going to be strong today so that God will bless me in any degree so that I have strength in different areas.

00:25:46.300 --> 00:25:48.300
It is just so that I can pour myself out.

00:25:54.300 --> 00:25:56.300
That is the only reason for a strong church.

00:25:59.300 --> 00:26:01.300
There's no other reason.

00:26:02.300 --> 00:26:05.300
You're supposed to be spent by the time you leave the earth.

00:26:05.300 --> 00:26:08.300
You have to have no seed in your bag when you leave the earth.

00:26:08.300 --> 00:26:10.300
Your bag should be empty.

00:26:10.300 --> 00:26:12.300
Your bag should be empty every Saturday evening.

00:26:20.300 --> 00:26:23.300
The Holy Spirit cannot fill me if I am not empty.

00:26:23.300 --> 00:26:29.300
Doesn't matter how passionate my song gets, how I go down on my knees and stretch out my hands wide saying,

00:26:29.300 --> 00:26:30.300
Fill me.

00:26:30.300 --> 00:26:31.300
He'll say, Where?

00:26:31.300 --> 00:26:33.300
Because there ain't no space to fill you, Jacob.

00:26:33.300 --> 00:26:35.300
Because you're a fat cat who never pulls out anything.

00:26:42.300 --> 00:26:44.300
This kind of Christianity stinks.

00:26:44.300 --> 00:26:46.300
And you must be repulsed by it.

00:26:54.300 --> 00:26:58.300
And it will invite scorn.

00:26:58.300 --> 00:27:00.300
It will invite fear.

00:27:00.300 --> 00:27:03.300
Scorn, it will invite, leave us alone.

00:27:03.300 --> 00:27:05.300
And it will not be sophisticated.

00:27:07.300 --> 00:27:09.300
I love being a sophisticated Christian.

00:27:11.300 --> 00:27:13.300
This just throws everything out.

00:27:15.300 --> 00:27:17.300
Any questions?

00:27:19.300 --> 00:27:21.300
I'm not done yet, but any questions?

00:27:31.300 --> 00:27:38.300
So it's a job of me as a leader or as leaders.

00:27:42.300 --> 00:27:48.300
And that could include household leaders and potential leaders in the next generation.

00:27:48.300 --> 00:27:49.300
Doesn't matter.

00:27:49.300 --> 00:27:51.300
It's a job of leaders in a church.

00:27:51.300 --> 00:27:52.300
And this is the only job.

00:27:52.300 --> 00:27:55.300
It's a job of leaders in the church to be mature.

00:27:56.300 --> 00:28:04.300
And to increase in maturity so that they can now begin to affect the families and the individuals in the church.

00:28:09.300 --> 00:28:10.300
To mature.

00:28:10.300 --> 00:28:12.300
So they get mature too.

00:28:12.300 --> 00:28:15.300
So if I don't mature, I'm not able to mature the leaders in the house.

00:28:15.300 --> 00:28:19.300
The leaders in the house are not able to mature the families in the house.

00:28:19.300 --> 00:28:20.300
Why are we doing this?

00:28:20.300 --> 00:28:21.300
Why are we doing this?

00:28:21.300 --> 00:28:27.300
So that you can go out into segments that you presently live in.

00:28:27.300 --> 00:28:31.300
Into spheres of influence that you presently operate in.

00:28:33.300 --> 00:28:37.300
Into streets that you have your houses or you walk in.

00:28:37.300 --> 00:28:40.300
And in the stages of life that you presently occupy.

00:28:42.300 --> 00:28:48.300
And imagine how varied it is in this room right now.

00:28:48.300 --> 00:28:50.300
So let's take Matt and Rachel.

00:28:50.300 --> 00:28:57.300
The segment of society they occupy is different from the segment of society that Anne and Kamal who are sitting right in front of them occupy.

00:28:59.300 --> 00:29:05.300
The spheres of influence that Matt has are in UBC and Anne and Kamal have no influence there.

00:29:05.300 --> 00:29:10.300
The stage of life they are in is a couple that's retired who love being grandparents.

00:29:10.300 --> 00:29:14.300
And a couple that's just had a baby and have people that are like them.

00:29:14.300 --> 00:29:15.300
Completely different.

00:29:15.300 --> 00:29:17.300
The streets they walk in are different.

00:29:17.300 --> 00:29:18.300
It's Richmond and Vancouver.

00:29:20.300 --> 00:29:27.300
And so the intent of leaders is can I mature so that I can help families and individuals in the church to mature.

00:29:27.300 --> 00:29:29.300
So that they can take what?

00:29:29.300 --> 00:29:33.300
They can take the gospel which is the story of Christ.

00:29:35.300 --> 00:29:38.300
And the teachings of Christ.

00:29:40.300 --> 00:29:43.300
And can I profess and demonstrate it?

00:29:47.300 --> 00:29:48.300
And demonstrate.

00:29:49.300 --> 00:29:50.300
Why?

00:29:50.300 --> 00:29:58.300
So that the watching world may be transformed.

00:30:18.300 --> 00:30:20.300
This is why you exist.

00:30:21.300 --> 00:30:24.300
Guys please understand there's no other reason.

00:30:26.300 --> 00:30:28.300
Everything else is gravy.

00:30:29.300 --> 00:30:30.300
No other reason.

00:30:32.300 --> 00:30:33.300
And therefore,

00:30:36.300 --> 00:30:40.300
once the watching world hears what you have to say they get transformed.

00:30:40.300 --> 00:30:45.300
When they get transformed then you need to make disciples of them.

00:30:45.300 --> 00:30:48.300
And you make disciples of them in households.

00:30:51.300 --> 00:30:55.300
Little places where you have one on one relationships with them.

00:30:55.300 --> 00:30:57.300
That's where they get discipled.

00:30:59.300 --> 00:31:04.300
And so for you to come to church on a Sunday means nothing.

00:31:05.300 --> 00:31:06.300
Nothing.

00:31:06.300 --> 00:31:10.300
For me to come to church on a Sunday, sit here for two hours,

00:31:12.300 --> 00:31:13.300
doesn't cut it.

00:31:13.300 --> 00:31:20.300
Because you will not be able to go into this or have the boldness

00:31:23.300 --> 00:31:33.300
and the skill to do this well, proclaim or disciple without being connected to the church more vitally.

00:31:33.300 --> 00:31:34.300
It's not possible.

00:31:34.300 --> 00:31:39.300
If you think it is possible you're just assuming it and it's a foolish false assumption.

00:31:39.300 --> 00:31:41.300
And it does not have biblical basis.

00:31:41.300 --> 00:31:42.300
Because here's the thing guys.

00:31:43.300 --> 00:31:51.300
Everything Psalm 133, everything flows from the head down to the beard down to the rest of the body.

00:31:51.300 --> 00:32:01.300
You can be a Christian but you cannot enjoy the full benefits of Christ without being vitally connected to the body.

00:32:02.300 --> 00:32:04.300
So Prashanth just come out for a second.

00:32:04.300 --> 00:32:06.300
I'm sorry I'm doing this to you Prashanth.

00:32:06.300 --> 00:32:14.300
So it doesn't matter that he can polish his hand or his foot during the week.

00:32:14.300 --> 00:32:15.300
He can do that.

00:32:15.300 --> 00:32:17.300
That's what most of us do as Christians.

00:32:17.300 --> 00:32:24.300
We polish off our hands by reading a bit of Bible or we polish our feet by singing and worshiping at home.

00:32:24.300 --> 00:32:26.300
And we think we are doing what church normally does.

00:32:26.300 --> 00:32:27.300
I'm worshiping at home.

00:32:27.300 --> 00:32:29.300
I'm reading the Bible at home.

00:32:29.300 --> 00:32:31.300
I'm doing the Bible at home.

00:32:31.300 --> 00:32:33.300
I'm doing the Bible at home.

00:32:33.300 --> 00:32:34.300
I'm doing what church normally does.

00:32:34.300 --> 00:32:35.300
I'm worshiping at home.

00:32:35.300 --> 00:32:36.300
I'm reading the Bible at home.

00:32:36.300 --> 00:32:37.300
I'm praying at home.

00:32:37.300 --> 00:32:39.300
I'm a fine individual Christian.

00:32:39.300 --> 00:32:40.300
Yes you are.

00:32:40.300 --> 00:32:41.300
But here's the thing.

00:32:41.300 --> 00:32:44.300
You get nothing that flows down from the head.

00:32:47.300 --> 00:32:51.300
Because till it flows down from the head it does not flow onto the beard.

00:32:53.300 --> 00:32:56.300
And if it doesn't flow down to the beard it doesn't flow down to the rest of the body.

00:32:56.300 --> 00:33:03.300
So all you are is a prosthetic limb that is being shined by you every day with a little bit of Bible reading and worship.

00:33:03.300 --> 00:33:09.300
When the actual oil that is upon the head does not flow down to the beard and does not flow down to the body.

00:33:09.300 --> 00:33:14.300
So you will never, never, I guarantee you this on the basis of the Bible.

00:33:14.300 --> 00:33:22.300
You will never, I will never enjoy the full benefits of Christ if I'm not a vitally connected part of the body.

00:33:23.300 --> 00:33:28.300
It is like having a prosthetic limb that you take off every night and shine it.

00:33:29.300 --> 00:33:31.300
That's what individual Christianity is like.

00:33:32.300 --> 00:33:40.300
May you not go down that route because you will leave the earth without benefiting the, without enjoying the benefits of the body.

00:33:40.300 --> 00:33:42.300
And I'm not talking about attendance.

00:33:42.300 --> 00:33:46.300
Please don't think that attending two hours on a church on Sunday does anything.

00:33:48.300 --> 00:33:50.300
There was no one else with a beard.

00:33:50.300 --> 00:33:53.300
The next guy was Gary and he's a guest so I thought I'll pick on you.

00:33:58.300 --> 00:34:00.300
Don, if you could take him off probation for the rest of the year.

00:34:02.300 --> 00:34:04.300
Doesn't matter what you do now.

00:34:04.300 --> 00:34:06.300
You won't be on probation for the next six months.

00:34:10.300 --> 00:34:11.300
Any questions guys?

00:34:14.300 --> 00:34:15.300
Pardon?

00:34:16.300 --> 00:34:17.300
No, that would be more water.

00:34:18.300 --> 00:34:19.300
I just sprinkled you.

00:34:20.300 --> 00:34:23.300
Any questions?

00:34:26.300 --> 00:34:27.300
Go ahead.

00:34:39.300 --> 00:34:40.300
Sure.

00:34:44.300 --> 00:34:45.300
Yeah, go ahead Nick.

00:34:50.300 --> 00:34:53.300
I'm taking that message and have brought it to the cell.

00:34:53.300 --> 00:34:55.300
There were times before they got it.

00:34:56.300 --> 00:35:10.300
So, you know, sometimes they put a card and then I guess they just kept the thought of the father and then now they're off to the home again and the family.

00:35:10.300 --> 00:35:16.300
It's really interesting that I haven't been in touch with them on whatever but just like, can you speak a little bit about like,

00:35:16.300 --> 00:35:20.300
the father and then the mission and the people who do that.

00:35:20.300 --> 00:35:23.300
Yeah, so here's the thing.

00:35:23.300 --> 00:35:28.300
We've got to understand that this does not mean that you go to Lithuania.

00:35:28.300 --> 00:35:34.300
Because we are talking about going to streets that are next door.

00:35:34.300 --> 00:35:37.300
Segments that we presently occupy Monday to Saturday.

00:35:37.300 --> 00:35:43.300
Spheres of influence at work and at other places and stages of life that you presently occupy.

00:35:43.300 --> 00:35:49.300
So none of this involves going to some foreign country, not even to another province.

00:35:49.300 --> 00:35:57.300
This is living your tomorrow at work amongst your friends in the streets you occupy differently.

00:35:57.300 --> 00:36:04.300
Because now there is only one reason to do that and that is plunder the possessions of Satan.

00:36:04.300 --> 00:36:12.300
Second, profess and demonstrate the gospel, which is the only power to transform and rescue.

00:36:12.300 --> 00:36:15.300
And third, making disciples of all nations.

00:36:15.300 --> 00:36:20.300
And that happens tomorrow without going anywhere but where you normally go.

00:36:20.300 --> 00:36:28.300
Therefore, as we learn who God is as a father, who God is as a healer, who God is as a provider, why are we learning that?

00:36:28.300 --> 00:36:37.300
So that from Monday to Saturday we can go and spend ourselves knowing that healing and provision and fatherhood and adoption is taken care of.

00:36:37.300 --> 00:36:39.300
You don't have to worry about that.

00:36:39.300 --> 00:36:43.300
Now that all this is provided, go now and live for the kingdom.

00:36:43.300 --> 00:36:51.300
It's like someone who has everything else taken care of and has only one reason to live, fulfill his father's pleasure.

00:36:51.300 --> 00:36:56.300
So the reason we learn about who the father is and what God can do for us is very simple.

00:36:56.300 --> 00:36:59.300
Now that is taken care of, I don't have to worry about that.

00:36:59.300 --> 00:37:08.300
When I'm sick I know where to go, when I don't have stuff I know where to go, when I'm weak I know where to go, when I'm helpless I know where to go, when there is no food I know where to go, when I'm thirsty I know where to go.

00:37:08.300 --> 00:37:14.300
And where am I going? To a people called the body of Christ, through whom Christ does amazing things.

00:37:14.300 --> 00:37:18.300
So let me change what I just said.

00:37:18.300 --> 00:37:23.300
So when I have a baby and I don't have a babysitter, where do I go? To Don and to Derek.

00:37:23.300 --> 00:37:34.300
When I don't have good health, where do I go? To the body who prays for me and my body gets healed by Christ, the head of the body.

00:37:34.300 --> 00:37:46.300
When there is no provision, where do I go? I can still approach the body and I pray God that a day comes when this body will be so splendidly provided for because of the riches of each other and the lack of each other being taken care of.

00:37:47.300 --> 00:37:53.300
I come to the body because it is through the body that Christ acts.

00:37:53.300 --> 00:38:02.300
So all that is being taken care of. Now Jacob that I am providing for you just like I provided for Jesus, why don't you just go and be busy about my business.

00:38:02.300 --> 00:38:08.300
And what is his business? Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

00:38:08.300 --> 00:38:14.300
And teaching them to observe everything that I have taught you and lo I will be with you till the ends of the earth.

00:38:14.300 --> 00:38:20.300
Be with you how? As in a spooky presence that you can't see? Be with you as in I will take care of everything else.

00:38:20.300 --> 00:38:28.300
Why? Because you have finally begun to seek the kingdom first. And all other things shall be added to you and your eye is not even all the other things.

00:38:28.300 --> 00:38:30.300
So that is my answer to your first question.

00:38:30.300 --> 00:38:32.300
And what is your second question?

00:38:37.300 --> 00:38:39.300
This message is being sponsored by Nick.

00:38:45.300 --> 00:38:51.300
Diversity in terms of where people are at and where they are supposed to go.

00:38:51.300 --> 00:38:59.300
Everybody and the M.T.s, do you think they can pass it on to yourself?

00:38:59.300 --> 00:39:01.300
Can you speak a little bit about that?

00:39:15.300 --> 00:39:20.300
And that is exactly what David did.

00:39:20.300 --> 00:39:24.300
Where David collects stuff after stuff after stuff and what does he do?

00:39:24.300 --> 00:39:28.300
He gives everything to Solomon to build.

00:39:28.300 --> 00:39:31.300
And David doesn't even build it though it was his desire to build it.

00:39:31.300 --> 00:39:36.300
So everything you do, I mean this is what good husbands do for their wives.

00:39:36.300 --> 00:39:41.300
They will go get the moon for their wives. Why?

00:39:41.300 --> 00:39:44.300
It cost them a lot to go to the moon. They worked really hard.

00:39:44.300 --> 00:39:47.300
And finally they get the moon and give it to their wives. Why?

00:39:47.300 --> 00:39:51.300
Because I want to be strong so that I can get you everything you desire.

00:39:51.300 --> 00:39:54.300
This is what parents do for their children.

00:39:54.300 --> 00:39:58.300
Matt and Rachel will do anything so that that boy can do better.

00:39:58.300 --> 00:40:04.300
So when I talk about being spent, I don't mean by being spent that you crumble and fall.

00:40:04.300 --> 00:40:07.300
I'm saying that everything I do will be for your benefit.

00:40:08.300 --> 00:40:12.300
So that at the end of the day, I have nothing left and you have all of it.

00:40:12.300 --> 00:40:19.300
And then tomorrow God fills me again because the depth of my life increases as I keep spending it.

00:40:37.300 --> 00:40:42.300
It doesn't exhaust you. You may feel fatigued but it doesn't really exhaust you.

00:40:42.300 --> 00:40:44.300
Guys, I'll give you an example.

00:40:44.300 --> 00:40:48.300
I was in Bristol and finished the sessions that they told me to finish.

00:40:48.300 --> 00:40:50.300
And then I had to go to Vienna.

00:40:50.300 --> 00:40:55.300
So I finished my sessions, fly the next morning to Vienna at four or five in the morning.

00:40:55.300 --> 00:41:01.300
I'm teaching for ten days and then I realized that there is still something Bristol needs to get

00:41:01.300 --> 00:41:03.300
that they didn't ask for but they didn't need to give.

00:41:03.300 --> 00:41:05.300
So here's what I do exactly.

00:41:05.300 --> 00:41:12.300
I cancel my ticket and my brother-in-law's ticket and I pay $2,242 for a ticket for him and me

00:41:12.300 --> 00:41:18.300
to fly back early by four hours so that I can come back to the church and teach some more.

00:41:18.300 --> 00:41:20.300
Why am I telling you this?

00:41:20.300 --> 00:41:22.300
Because here's what fascinated my brother-in-law.

00:41:22.300 --> 00:41:27.300
That I would actually pay $2,242 to come to a church that doesn't know that I spent that money

00:41:27.300 --> 00:41:29.300
to come and teach them for four hours.

00:41:29.300 --> 00:41:31.300
Why am I giving you this example?

00:41:31.300 --> 00:41:36.300
Because I want you to know, Acts 29, that there is nothing else Jacob desires

00:41:36.300 --> 00:41:43.300
than to strengthen you to a point where you become people that be exactly who Christ wants you to be.

00:41:43.300 --> 00:41:45.300
And I will empty my pocket.

00:41:45.300 --> 00:41:47.300
I will empty my strength.

00:41:47.300 --> 00:41:49.300
I will empty the grace I have so that you do better.

00:41:49.300 --> 00:41:51.300
You can take this to the bank.

00:41:51.300 --> 00:41:55.300
If you haven't experienced it, it is not because Jacob is holding back.

00:41:55.300 --> 00:41:58.300
It is because your heart is too small to receive it.

00:41:58.300 --> 00:42:01.300
And I'm quoting 2 Corinthians 6 right now.

00:42:03.300 --> 00:42:07.300
And I'm being passionate about it and I can cry if I push this.

00:42:07.300 --> 00:42:09.300
You need to understand something.

00:42:09.300 --> 00:42:14.300
That I will spend my life to see you become the church Christ needs to become.

00:42:14.300 --> 00:42:15.300
And I will spend my life.

00:42:15.300 --> 00:42:16.300
I will empty my pocket.

00:42:16.300 --> 00:42:17.300
I will empty my grace.

00:42:17.300 --> 00:42:18.300
I will empty my gifts.

00:42:18.300 --> 00:42:23.300
I will even give you my time which is precious, which is the only thing I like holding on to.

00:42:23.300 --> 00:42:26.300
I'll give it to you so that you become who you are supposed to become.

00:42:26.300 --> 00:42:31.300
And if you haven't received it yet, it is not because my heart is small or I have held back.

00:42:31.300 --> 00:42:34.300
It is because your heart is too small to receive it.

00:42:35.300 --> 00:42:40.300
Enlarge it and you will get everything you need from me that God is supposed to give through me.

00:42:40.300 --> 00:42:42.300
It may not come in the way you want it.

00:42:42.300 --> 00:42:45.300
I'll make mistakes but you will have it if you want it.

00:42:51.300 --> 00:42:54.300
Because I have no other reason to live but you.

00:42:56.300 --> 00:42:57.300
Thank you.

00:43:04.300 --> 00:43:05.300
Third question, Nick.

00:43:09.300 --> 00:43:10.300
These are very good questions, Nick.

00:43:10.300 --> 00:43:11.300
Ask them.

00:43:11.300 --> 00:43:13.300
The worst that can happen is you go on probation.

00:43:13.300 --> 00:43:14.300
So go ahead.

00:43:15.300 --> 00:43:17.300
I made it up to you last time.

00:43:17.300 --> 00:43:19.300
Did I already put you on probation?

00:43:19.300 --> 00:43:20.300
Yes, you did.

00:43:20.300 --> 00:43:21.300
Oh, okay.

00:43:21.300 --> 00:43:24.300
It'll just be extended.

00:43:24.300 --> 00:43:25.300
Don is in charge.

00:43:25.300 --> 00:43:26.300
Go ahead.

00:43:26.300 --> 00:43:29.300
What would you say to somebody who feels weak?

00:43:30.300 --> 00:43:35.300
I would go with what Paul said where he says three things that leaders need to do.

00:43:35.300 --> 00:43:37.300
Admonish the unruly.

00:43:38.300 --> 00:43:44.300
As in rebuke those that don't want to stay under order but defy order.

00:43:44.300 --> 00:43:46.300
Admonish those that are unruly.

00:43:46.300 --> 00:43:51.300
Strengthen those that have had the stuffing knocked out of them and are weak.

00:43:51.300 --> 00:43:54.300
And encourage the faint-hearted.

00:43:56.300 --> 00:44:03.300
And this is where, see, you heard my passionate speech a little while ago about what I would do for you.

00:44:03.300 --> 00:44:04.300
But remember this thing.

00:44:04.300 --> 00:44:08.300
I can never do for you what six or seven leaders can do together for you.

00:44:08.300 --> 00:44:11.300
I can never do for you what Heidi does for you.

00:44:12.300 --> 00:44:16.300
I can never do for you what Derek and Jeevan do for you in your households.

00:44:16.300 --> 00:44:20.300
I can never do for you the other leaders here who you feel are not as good as you.

00:44:20.300 --> 00:44:22.300
The leaders here who you've seen do things.

00:44:22.300 --> 00:44:23.300
I can't.

00:44:23.300 --> 00:44:26.300
But I'm saying what I do, I'll do for you splendidly.

00:44:29.300 --> 00:44:36.300
So at the end of the day, when someone is weak, the way Heidi strengthens them is very different from the way I strengthen them.

00:44:36.300 --> 00:44:39.300
She'll go sit with you, stand with you in hospital.

00:44:39.300 --> 00:44:40.300
She'll walk with you.

00:44:40.300 --> 00:44:42.300
She'll wait till everything is done.

00:44:42.300 --> 00:44:52.300
I'll probably come and pray for you and maybe in some cases tell you to shape up.

00:44:53.300 --> 00:44:54.300
It'll be different.

00:44:54.300 --> 00:45:05.300
But what I'm trying to say is when there are six or seven leaders that gather together, or ten or twelve leaders, or sixteen leaders that gather together, the church gets everything it needs.

00:45:05.300 --> 00:45:12.300
And there are people who at different times in a church are weak because they had the stuffing knocked out of them that week.

00:45:12.300 --> 00:45:16.300
They are faint-hearted and they need to be encouraged.

00:45:16.300 --> 00:45:20.300
And they are unruly and they need to be rebuked.

00:45:20.300 --> 00:45:22.300
Paul says this.

00:45:22.300 --> 00:45:25.300
This is very clearly Paul says in 2 Timothy.

00:45:25.300 --> 00:45:27.300
This is what you need to do.

00:45:27.300 --> 00:45:30.300
Admonish the unruly, strengthen the weak.

00:45:30.300 --> 00:45:34.300
And the whole word strengthen in the Greek, and I actually looked at it two weeks ago,

00:45:34.300 --> 00:45:38.300
is come alongside and lift them up till they are able to walk.

00:45:38.300 --> 00:45:40.300
And encourage the faint-hearted.

00:45:40.300 --> 00:45:45.300
And if I'm not able to do it for you, you must come and gently correct me saying you didn't help me.

00:45:45.300 --> 00:45:48.300
You know Matt and Rachel did it once.

00:45:48.300 --> 00:45:54.300
And it changed my attitude towards them, my heart towards them.

00:45:55.300 --> 00:45:59.300
When we sat at the white spot in Richmond and I actually told Matt and Rachel,

00:45:59.300 --> 00:46:05.300
I am sorry that I could not back up my words with you, that I haven't paid enough attention to you,

00:46:05.300 --> 00:46:10.300
that I haven't helped you, and I am sorry for it.

00:46:10.300 --> 00:46:12.300
And since that day I've changed.

00:46:12.300 --> 00:46:13.300
You know why I've changed?

00:46:13.300 --> 00:46:16.300
Because my heart changed towards them.

00:46:16.300 --> 00:46:21.300
When my heart changes, everything else changes.

00:46:21.300 --> 00:46:25.300
And they're sitting here, you can ask them.

00:46:25.300 --> 00:46:29.300
And they're important to me now.

00:46:33.300 --> 00:46:38.300
That's how we deal with the weak and the faint-hearted.

00:46:38.300 --> 00:46:41.300
And thank God people have helped me when I've been through times like that.

00:46:41.300 --> 00:46:44.300
My God people came alongside.

00:46:44.300 --> 00:46:46.300
They weren't able to solve my problem.

00:46:46.300 --> 00:46:49.300
It was not as if a miracle happened and things got solved.

00:46:49.300 --> 00:46:53.300
But I was so grateful and I'm still so grateful that whenever I am faint-hearted or weak,

00:46:53.300 --> 00:46:57.300
that I can go to certain people and they will encourage and lift me up.

00:46:59.300 --> 00:47:02.300
God with skin on him.

00:47:05.300 --> 00:47:07.300
Next question, Nick.

00:47:07.300 --> 00:47:11.300
You've got another five minutes and we'll stop in five.

00:47:11.300 --> 00:47:15.300
We'll stop at 4.15, so you've got five minutes more.

00:47:18.300 --> 00:47:20.300
They're living vicariously through you,

00:47:20.300 --> 00:47:23.300
because they know only you will go on probation, so go ahead.

00:47:41.300 --> 00:47:48.300
When I was a newer Christian, I thought that worship was just not for me.

00:47:48.300 --> 00:47:50.300
I just wanted that to be a guide.

00:47:50.300 --> 00:47:52.300
And the parts of God showed me differently.

00:47:52.300 --> 00:47:55.300
And I'm still learning how to worship, which is Christianity 101.

00:47:55.300 --> 00:47:59.300
And it's been eight, nine, 20 years, whatever, years now.

00:47:59.300 --> 00:48:03.300
And sometimes I wonder if I'm...

00:48:03.300 --> 00:48:10.300
I'll push myself really hard, try to turn to praise the Lord just to give it all.

00:48:10.300 --> 00:48:12.300
And I feel exhausted afterwards.

00:48:12.300 --> 00:48:15.300
Is that normal? Is that like...

00:48:15.300 --> 00:48:18.300
Would I be doing it wrong?

00:48:20.300 --> 00:48:22.300
Yes and no.

00:48:24.300 --> 00:48:29.300
I find that when I'm trying to love somebody, it's very exhausting.

00:48:29.300 --> 00:48:31.300
But if I love somebody, it's very easy.

00:48:31.300 --> 00:48:35.300
So in worship, one of the things that we have to learn

00:48:35.300 --> 00:48:38.300
is to continuously increase during the week in our intimacy with him

00:48:38.300 --> 00:48:41.300
so that our worship is...

00:48:43.300 --> 00:48:45.300
Yeah.

00:48:45.300 --> 00:48:49.300
When I like somebody, then what I do for them is easy.

00:48:49.300 --> 00:48:53.300
When I am trying to like somebody, it is difficult.

00:48:53.300 --> 00:48:55.300
Because now I'm really exerting myself.

00:48:55.300 --> 00:49:00.300
So why not learn how to like them more and only go so far as I like them

00:49:00.300 --> 00:49:02.300
because anything else is fake?

00:49:03.300 --> 00:49:08.300
But my intent is between Sundays or between Tuesdays or between Wednesdays

00:49:08.300 --> 00:49:13.300
or every 24 hours, my hope is, Father, can I like you a little more

00:49:13.300 --> 00:49:16.300
so that tomorrow when I open my mouth in adoration,

00:49:16.300 --> 00:49:20.300
it flows because the words I say are just so amazing.

00:49:22.300 --> 00:49:26.300
So if you actually heard me in my personal times of worship,

00:49:26.300 --> 00:49:29.300
the words I speak are very different to the words I say here.

00:49:29.300 --> 00:49:33.300
Because if I started saying those words here, it'll sound strange.

00:49:36.300 --> 00:49:40.300
Because they're far too intimate for anyone to understand.

00:49:40.300 --> 00:49:43.300
It's not because I'm scared of being intimate publicly.

00:49:43.300 --> 00:49:45.300
I don't mind being intimate about God publicly.

00:49:45.300 --> 00:49:46.300
But you won't understand it.

00:49:46.300 --> 00:49:49.300
And if I speak anything on the mic, it must be words that are intelligible.

00:49:49.300 --> 00:49:51.300
And I'm not talking about speaking in tongues.

00:49:51.300 --> 00:49:54.300
I'm talking about calling him names that you will think,

00:49:54.300 --> 00:49:56.300
why is this guy calling him names like that?

00:49:57.300 --> 00:49:59.300
And by calling him names, I don't mean calling him names.

00:49:59.300 --> 00:50:01.300
I mean saying things to him.

00:50:02.300 --> 00:50:07.300
So the intent then at worship is, can I know him as Father a little better?

00:50:07.300 --> 00:50:08.300
Can I know him as friend a little better?

00:50:08.300 --> 00:50:10.300
Can I know him as lover a little better?

00:50:10.300 --> 00:50:12.300
Can I know him as healer a little better?

00:50:12.300 --> 00:50:16.300
And therefore, next time I open my mouth, the words that come out will be different.

00:50:16.300 --> 00:50:19.300
The songs, every song's words will change.

00:50:19.300 --> 00:50:21.300
Every song's words will change.

00:50:21.300 --> 00:50:23.300
Because you'll bring your own words up.

00:50:25.300 --> 00:50:29.300
So there will be times when I'll say, in royal robes that I now deserve.

00:50:30.300 --> 00:50:33.300
Why? Because last week was so amazing that I feel like I deserve it.

00:50:33.300 --> 00:50:37.300
And I think saying that to the Father ain't all that bad because he thinks I deserve it too.

00:50:42.300 --> 00:50:45.300
But if I sang it publicly, you would think this guy is full of himself,

00:50:45.300 --> 00:50:47.300
which you already think and then I add to it.

00:50:47.300 --> 00:50:49.300
Okay, one more question, Nick, and then we're done.

00:50:54.300 --> 00:50:57.300
You sure? Okay, done? Extended by three months, huh?

00:51:00.300 --> 00:51:01.300
Alrighty guys, let's just pray.

00:51:01.300 --> 00:51:04.300
Father, thank you for the way this service turned out.

00:51:05.300 --> 00:51:09.300
Even though it cost Nick, it was worth it.

00:51:09.300 --> 00:51:11.300
And I'm grateful for the service.

00:51:11.300 --> 00:51:13.300
I'm grateful for the service.

00:51:13.300 --> 00:51:18.300
Even though it cost Nick, it was worth it for the rest of us.

00:51:18.300 --> 00:51:21.300
So thank you, thank you Father.

00:51:21.300 --> 00:51:25.300
Father, I just go back to this one thing that we've been talking about.

00:51:25.300 --> 00:51:29.300
That, oh God, please don't let us forget the mission of the Church.

00:51:30.300 --> 00:51:33.300
We are very sorry, I am really sorry.

00:51:33.300 --> 00:51:35.300
For all these years not even seeing it.

00:51:35.300 --> 00:51:37.300
Only seeing it recently.

00:51:37.300 --> 00:51:42.300
And I am most responsible because you expected me to know this long ago, but I didn't.

00:51:43.300 --> 00:51:45.300
This has been the least important thing.

00:51:46.300 --> 00:51:48.300
How shameful, Father.

00:51:48.300 --> 00:51:52.300
And so we return back to the call of our origin.

00:51:55.300 --> 00:51:58.300
We return back to why the Holy Spirit came.

00:51:58.300 --> 00:52:02.300
We return back to why you raised a strong son called Jesus Christ.

00:52:02.300 --> 00:52:05.300
We return back to the reason why you were born.

00:52:05.300 --> 00:52:08.300
We return back to the reason and the mission of the Church.

00:52:08.300 --> 00:52:13.300
And I pray that every week you would remind us that I would remind myself and the Church.

00:52:13.300 --> 00:52:16.300
So that we turn out to be who we are supposed to be.

00:52:16.300 --> 00:52:19.300
Oh God, we've done you injustice in this.

00:52:19.300 --> 00:52:20.300
And we are sorry.

00:52:20.300 --> 00:52:23.300
Spirit of God, we will seek never to quench you again.

00:52:23.300 --> 00:52:26.300
As long as Acts 29 lives, may this be part of it now.

00:52:27.300 --> 00:52:29.300
So we repent, we say we are sorry.

00:52:30.300 --> 00:52:34.300
We rise up saying, oh God, renew us in this.

00:52:34.300 --> 00:52:35.300
Renew us in this.

00:52:35.300 --> 00:52:36.300
Renew us in this.

00:52:37.300 --> 00:52:40.300
To return to the mission of Jesus Christ.

00:52:40.300 --> 00:52:42.300
Thank you, Lord. Thank you.

00:52:42.300 --> 00:52:44.300
Thank you, Lord. We thank you, Lord.

00:52:44.300 --> 00:52:47.300
We thank you for bringing us back to ground zero.

00:52:47.300 --> 00:52:49.300
It is where we need to start from again.

00:52:50.300 --> 00:52:56.300
So we receive this commission of yours with much hope.

00:52:56.300 --> 00:53:00.300
And over the months, over the months ahead, we'll pray for boldness.

00:53:00.300 --> 00:53:03.300
We don't know how to do this, but at least we've recognized it.

00:53:06.300 --> 00:53:11.300
Father, I'm just going to put the mic down here and just ask two or three others to pray into this.

00:53:11.300 --> 00:53:13.300
And then we'll go.

00:53:13.300 --> 00:53:19.300
So I'll just leave the mic here for two or three more from the Church to come up and pray this, Father.

00:53:26.300 --> 00:53:49.300
One or two more, Father.

00:53:49.300 --> 00:53:50.300
One more, Father.

00:53:50.300 --> 00:53:52.300
Holy Spirit.

00:53:55.300 --> 00:53:59.300
Father, we submit our lives to you, Lord.

00:53:59.300 --> 00:54:02.300
We submit our hearts to you, Lord.

00:54:02.300 --> 00:54:07.300
Thank you so much, Holy Spirit, for teaching the truth, for revealing the truth.

00:54:07.300 --> 00:54:12.300
The simple, plain truth, for that is hidden from us for a long time, Lord.

00:54:12.300 --> 00:54:16.300
And now, since it is revealed, may we live in it, Lord.

00:54:16.300 --> 00:54:17.300
May we live in it.

00:54:17.300 --> 00:54:21.300
Bring us back to this point every time when we lose our track of it, Lord.

00:54:21.300 --> 00:54:23.300
Bring us back, Holy Spirit.

00:54:23.300 --> 00:54:24.300
Burn our hearts, Lord.

00:54:24.300 --> 00:54:27.300
Burn our hearts for this one, Holy Spirit.

00:54:27.300 --> 00:54:36.300
Since it is revealed to us, may it be evident through us in every day of our life, Lord, in every moment of our life, Father.

00:54:36.300 --> 00:54:38.300
We ask for it, Holy Spirit.

00:54:38.300 --> 00:54:40.300
We ask for it, Holy Spirit.

00:54:40.300 --> 00:54:46.300
We ask that whatever we learn today, the mission of our existence,

00:54:46.300 --> 00:54:52.300
may it be evident, may it be real through us every day, through me, through us every day, Lord.

00:54:52.300 --> 00:54:54.300
Lord, we ask for it, Holy Spirit.

00:54:54.300 --> 00:54:57.300
We ask for it in Jesus' name, I pray.

00:54:57.300 --> 00:54:58.300
Amen.

00:54:59.300 --> 00:55:01.300
One more person, guys.

00:55:05.300 --> 00:55:12.300
I say yes, Lord, yes, to your will and to your way.

00:55:12.300 --> 00:55:20.300
I say yes, Lord, yes, I will trust you and obey.

00:55:20.300 --> 00:55:28.300
And when your Spirit speaks to me with my whole heart, I'll agree.

00:55:28.300 --> 00:55:34.300
And my answer will be yes, Lord, yes.

00:55:34.300 --> 00:55:42.300
And we say yes, Lord, yes, to your will and to your way.

00:55:42.300 --> 00:55:50.300
We say yes, Lord, yes, we will trust you and obey.

00:55:50.300 --> 00:55:58.300
And when your Spirit speaks to us with our whole hearts, we'll agree.

00:55:58.300 --> 00:56:05.300
And our answer will be yes, Lord, yes.

00:56:09.300 --> 00:56:12.300
So, Father, we go now to serve.

00:56:12.300 --> 00:56:16.300
We're leaving this place, and the doxology is very simple.

00:56:16.300 --> 00:56:22.300
That we go now to fulfill the mission of the Church, in our segments, in our spheres of influence,

00:56:22.300 --> 00:56:24.300
in the streets we walk in and in our stages of life.

00:56:24.300 --> 00:56:26.300
We go to do that now.

00:56:26.300 --> 00:56:32.300
We learn how to do that week by week by week by week, so that our children will think this is normal.

00:56:34.300 --> 00:56:36.300
Hallelujah.

00:56:36.300 --> 00:56:39.300
Build a generation, Father.

00:56:42.300 --> 00:56:48.300
Father, if there are any needs that need to be prayed for, people will be here to pray.

00:56:48.300 --> 00:56:57.300
And I ask Karen and Joan, and Don and Mark, if he isn't here, Rhonda will sub for Mark,

00:56:57.300 --> 00:57:01.300
will pray for people, and Elmer, will pray for people that need praying.

00:57:01.300 --> 00:57:06.300
And we just thank you for Mae's parents and Martin, and we bless them.

00:57:06.300 --> 00:57:08.300
We bless them again in Jesus' name. Amen.

00:57:08.300 --> 00:57:13.300
Guys, before you go, go say hello to Mae's dad and mum, and to Martin before they leave.

00:57:13.300 --> 00:57:15.300
And bless you. See you soon.
