00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:03.800
We continue with the series, Take Your Rightful Place.

00:00:03.800 --> 00:00:08.960
Before we go into that, March 17th is the AGM for the church.

00:00:08.960 --> 00:00:11.680
We have to have an AGM every year.

00:00:11.680 --> 00:00:14.000
So March 17th is the AGM.

00:00:14.000 --> 00:00:21.400
And Heidi, what else?

00:00:21.400 --> 00:00:25.160
March 17th is the AGM.

00:00:25.160 --> 00:00:27.640
And you'll get a note on it soon.

00:00:27.640 --> 00:00:32.520
But it's supposed to be announced a few times.

00:00:32.520 --> 00:00:34.240
So I've announced it four times now.

00:00:37.840 --> 00:00:39.200
Oh, it doesn't work that way.

00:00:39.200 --> 00:00:41.040
You have to announce it four different times.

00:00:41.040 --> 00:00:43.080
OK.

00:00:43.080 --> 00:00:46.760
OK, this is your first announcement.

00:00:46.760 --> 00:00:48.720
OK, Take Your Rightful Place.

00:00:48.720 --> 00:00:51.080
And this time, we're talking about taking your rightful place

00:00:51.080 --> 00:00:53.480
in the favor of God.

00:00:53.480 --> 00:00:55.560
Some of the places that we have to occupy

00:00:55.640 --> 00:00:58.960
are so difficult to stay in.

00:00:58.960 --> 00:01:00.600
They're easy to break into.

00:01:00.600 --> 00:01:02.400
They're difficult to stay in.

00:01:02.400 --> 00:01:08.600
And sometimes staying in is harder than breaking in.

00:01:08.600 --> 00:01:10.120
It's often the case, right?

00:01:10.120 --> 00:01:12.840
We know how to get into something of God,

00:01:12.840 --> 00:01:17.000
but we don't know how to stay there 24-7.

00:01:17.000 --> 00:01:21.960
And staying in a place that you occupy

00:01:21.960 --> 00:01:25.440
requires follow-through and practice.

00:01:25.480 --> 00:01:28.200
I don't know if anyone golfs here.

00:01:28.200 --> 00:01:31.200
It looks so easy till you golf.

00:01:31.200 --> 00:01:34.200
And then the ball doesn't go where you and your nose is pointing.

00:01:34.200 --> 00:01:36.200
It goes somewhere else.

00:01:36.200 --> 00:01:39.200
Because if your elbows bend, then the ball goes there

00:01:39.200 --> 00:01:41.200
instead of going there.

00:01:41.200 --> 00:01:43.200
And then people who are able to shoot it

00:01:43.200 --> 00:01:47.200
are people that have follow-through and practice.

00:01:47.200 --> 00:01:49.200
The elbows are straight throughout.

00:01:49.200 --> 00:01:51.200
Chad tried that for a while.

00:01:51.200 --> 00:01:53.200
He's still pretty bad.

00:01:53.960 --> 00:01:57.960
So staying is very hard.

00:01:57.960 --> 00:02:10.960
So our premise today is, can you occupy this place of favor

00:02:10.960 --> 00:02:15.960
that is yours when you get born again?

00:02:15.960 --> 00:02:16.960
What does it look like?

00:02:16.960 --> 00:02:22.960
Can you occupy this place of favor

00:02:23.720 --> 00:02:31.720
that I am pleased with you

00:02:31.720 --> 00:02:41.720
and you are special to me place

00:02:41.720 --> 00:02:45.720
in the furious love of God,

00:02:45.720 --> 00:02:50.720
in the furious love of Jesus?

00:02:51.480 --> 00:02:57.480
Can you occupy the place of favor?

00:02:57.480 --> 00:03:01.480
Can you occupy this place of I am special to you?

00:03:01.480 --> 00:03:03.480
Or you are special to me.

00:03:03.480 --> 00:03:05.480
God saying, you are special to me.

00:03:05.480 --> 00:03:07.480
God saying, I am pleased with you.

00:03:07.480 --> 00:03:10.480
Can you occupy that place and stay there?

00:03:10.480 --> 00:03:12.480
Take your rightful place as wanting, you take it.

00:03:12.480 --> 00:03:14.480
But occupying is staying.

00:03:14.480 --> 00:03:19.480
How do we get to that place where you can spend almost a day

00:03:20.240 --> 00:03:22.240
not stepping out of here?

00:03:22.240 --> 00:03:24.240
So why does favor equate to I am pleased with you

00:03:24.240 --> 00:03:26.240
or you are special to me?

00:03:26.240 --> 00:03:28.240
Because that's what God says to people in the Bible.

00:03:28.240 --> 00:03:30.240
To Moses he says that.

00:03:30.240 --> 00:03:32.240
To Jesus he said that multiple times.

00:03:32.240 --> 00:03:34.240
That I am pleased with you.

00:03:34.240 --> 00:03:36.240
He says that multiple times to Jesus.

00:03:36.240 --> 00:03:40.240
And anything he says to Jesus, we now,

00:03:40.240 --> 00:03:42.240
because we are embedded in him,

00:03:42.240 --> 00:03:44.240
should be a place that we occupy.

00:03:44.240 --> 00:03:46.240
But it's so hard.

00:03:46.240 --> 00:03:48.240
You can take the place, but you,

00:03:49.000 --> 00:03:51.000
I find it so hard to stay there.

00:03:51.000 --> 00:03:55.000
Because things around me begin to draw me out of it.

00:03:55.000 --> 00:03:57.000
So can you stay there?

00:03:57.000 --> 00:04:00.000
And can you stay in that place in the furious love of Jesus?

00:04:00.000 --> 00:04:04.000
There's never a passive moment in the love of Jesus.

00:04:04.000 --> 00:04:06.000
Never a passive moment in the love of Jesus for me.

00:04:06.000 --> 00:04:08.000
Never a passive moment.

00:04:08.000 --> 00:04:10.000
There's never a resigned moment.

00:04:10.000 --> 00:04:12.000
It's always furious love.

00:04:12.000 --> 00:04:14.000
It raiders.

00:04:14.000 --> 00:04:18.000
When I was young, my dad used to work at a steel mill.

00:04:18.760 --> 00:04:21.760
And so they would have these huge furnaces

00:04:21.760 --> 00:04:23.760
where they would throw in raw iron.

00:04:23.760 --> 00:04:25.760
And it would melt it.

00:04:25.760 --> 00:04:27.760
And then they would pour it out.

00:04:27.760 --> 00:04:29.760
And when you pour it out, it would come out

00:04:29.760 --> 00:04:31.760
raiding, raiding hot molten lava.

00:04:31.760 --> 00:04:33.760
Flowing like liquid.

00:04:33.760 --> 00:04:35.760
And in seconds it cools.

00:04:35.760 --> 00:04:37.760
That's the furious love of God.

00:04:37.760 --> 00:04:39.760
Only it doesn't cool.

00:04:39.760 --> 00:04:42.760
It comes out of a smelter and it's continuously furious.

00:04:42.760 --> 00:04:44.760
And is it possible?

00:04:44.760 --> 00:04:47.760
Why am I holding in on the furious love of God?

00:04:48.520 --> 00:04:50.520
If I hold in on the furious love of God,

00:04:50.520 --> 00:04:54.520
perhaps I'll begin to believe that he is pleased with me continuously.

00:04:55.520 --> 00:04:59.520
In isolation, it's very hard to believe someone can think of you like that.

00:05:01.520 --> 00:05:05.520
Even parents can't think of their children like that always.

00:05:09.520 --> 00:05:13.520
So some of the words that we can think of when we think of favor,

00:05:14.280 --> 00:05:18.280
and if we could play a word association game,

00:05:19.280 --> 00:05:23.280
we don't even know if we could immediately connect these words to God.

00:05:23.280 --> 00:05:25.280
Like every time I say this word,

00:05:25.280 --> 00:05:27.280
your immediate reaction would be,

00:05:27.280 --> 00:05:29.280
God, God.

00:05:29.280 --> 00:05:31.280
But surprisingly that might not be the case.

00:05:31.280 --> 00:05:33.280
So when you think of the word approval,

00:05:33.280 --> 00:05:35.280
you immediately think, God.

00:05:39.280 --> 00:05:41.280
And there was dead silence in the room.

00:05:42.040 --> 00:05:44.040
But perhaps you're just one of those silent types.

00:05:48.040 --> 00:05:50.040
High esteem.

00:05:50.040 --> 00:05:52.040
You immediately think of God.

00:05:54.040 --> 00:05:56.040
Delight.

00:05:57.040 --> 00:05:59.040
Do you associate that word with God?

00:06:02.040 --> 00:06:04.040
Love that makes you laugh or cry.

00:06:05.040 --> 00:06:07.040
Love that makes you laugh or cry.

00:06:07.800 --> 00:06:09.800
Do you associate that with God?

00:06:10.800 --> 00:06:12.800
Targeted kindness.

00:06:18.800 --> 00:06:20.800
Do you associate that word with God?

00:06:21.800 --> 00:06:26.800
Access to the throne.

00:06:28.800 --> 00:06:30.800
Do you associate that word with Jesus?

00:06:31.800 --> 00:06:33.800
Intentional bias.

00:06:34.560 --> 00:06:36.560
Intentional bias towards you.

00:06:36.560 --> 00:06:38.560
Intentional bias towards you.

00:06:38.560 --> 00:06:40.560
Do you associate that word with God?

00:06:42.560 --> 00:06:44.560
Extra benefits.

00:06:46.560 --> 00:06:48.560
Do you associate that word with God?

00:06:51.560 --> 00:06:53.560
Settling your debts.

00:06:55.560 --> 00:06:57.560
Or settling anything outstanding.

00:06:58.560 --> 00:07:00.560
Be it sin or sin,

00:07:00.560 --> 00:07:02.560
or being a sinner.

00:07:03.320 --> 00:07:05.320
Be it sin or money or love or deficit.

00:07:06.320 --> 00:07:08.320
Settling debts you associate it with God.

00:07:09.320 --> 00:07:11.320
Tailored goodness.

00:07:11.320 --> 00:07:13.320
Tailored goodness.

00:07:13.320 --> 00:07:15.320
As in goodness that fits you.

00:07:15.320 --> 00:07:17.320
You associate that with God.

00:07:17.320 --> 00:07:19.320
And so in asking the question that way,

00:07:20.320 --> 00:07:22.320
the intent is to on one hand

00:07:22.320 --> 00:07:24.320
define what favor looks like

00:07:24.320 --> 00:07:26.320
or different words for favor.

00:07:26.320 --> 00:07:28.320
And also perhaps expose

00:07:28.320 --> 00:07:30.320
the condition of my heart

00:07:30.320 --> 00:07:32.320
in that these are not words

00:07:33.080 --> 00:07:35.080
that I immediately associate with God.

00:07:39.080 --> 00:07:41.080
Approval, high esteem.

00:07:41.080 --> 00:07:43.080
Delight, yeah.

00:07:43.080 --> 00:07:45.080
Love that makes you laugh and cry, yeah.

00:07:45.080 --> 00:07:47.080
Targeted kindness sometimes.

00:07:47.080 --> 00:07:49.080
Access to the throne, yeah.

00:07:49.080 --> 00:07:51.080
Intentional bias, not so sure.

00:07:51.080 --> 00:07:53.080
Extra benefits, kind of.

00:07:53.080 --> 00:07:55.080
Tailored goodness, kind of.

00:07:55.080 --> 00:07:57.080
There's so many words that are missing.

00:07:57.080 --> 00:07:59.080
And for different people in this room,

00:07:59.080 --> 00:08:01.080
the response will be different.

00:08:01.840 --> 00:08:03.840
In the case of Jesus or in the case of someone

00:08:03.840 --> 00:08:05.840
who really knows how to walk in favor

00:08:05.840 --> 00:08:07.840
and stay in favor, all these words should

00:08:07.840 --> 00:08:09.840
immediately associate with Christ.

00:08:12.840 --> 00:08:14.840
And that's part of what the word is supposed to do, right?

00:08:14.840 --> 00:08:16.840
It's supposed to expose our heart.

00:08:18.840 --> 00:08:20.840
Any questions before we go on?

00:08:24.840 --> 00:08:26.840
We suddenly realize that there's a lot more

00:08:26.840 --> 00:08:28.840
to go in our Christianity, at least for me.

00:08:29.600 --> 00:08:31.600
Nick, was that a question?

00:08:34.600 --> 00:08:36.600
Yeah.

00:08:36.600 --> 00:08:42.600
Favor is the kind of love that just melts your heart.

00:08:47.600 --> 00:08:50.600
You know it is because someone loves you so much

00:08:50.600 --> 00:08:52.600
and knows you so well that they did something

00:08:52.600 --> 00:08:55.600
for you that just melts your heart.

00:08:56.360 --> 00:08:58.360
And sometimes makes you cry.

00:08:58.360 --> 00:09:00.360
It's the kind of crying that comes out of joy.

00:09:05.360 --> 00:09:07.360
Any questions?

00:09:13.360 --> 00:09:15.360
Or let's go in one last one.

00:09:15.360 --> 00:09:17.360
You're my favorite.

00:09:21.360 --> 00:09:23.360
When those words are spoken, do you think, God?

00:09:26.360 --> 00:09:28.360
Or do you think that God is just a friend?

00:09:31.360 --> 00:09:33.360
But our hope is that we can get here.

00:09:33.360 --> 00:09:35.360
Take your rightful place.

00:09:35.360 --> 00:09:37.360
And after you take it, occupy it.

00:09:37.360 --> 00:09:39.360
Occupying is staying there.

00:09:41.360 --> 00:09:43.360
Beautiful, eh, if we can get here?

00:09:43.360 --> 00:09:45.360
Can you imagine how life will be?

00:09:51.360 --> 00:09:53.360
I would say if I don't work on this,

00:09:54.120 --> 00:09:56.120
it may be impossible.

00:10:01.120 --> 00:10:07.120
If I get here, it will be impossible to escape favor.

00:10:11.120 --> 00:10:15.120
As in, you'll recognize it every day, every second, every hour.

00:10:15.120 --> 00:10:17.120
You'll anticipate it.

00:10:24.120 --> 00:10:26.120
It will be impossible to escape it.

00:10:26.120 --> 00:10:28.120
You'll see it.

00:10:28.120 --> 00:10:30.120
You'll anticipate it.

00:10:30.120 --> 00:10:32.120
Because now your thinking is different.

00:10:35.120 --> 00:10:37.120
And when I don't think like this,

00:10:37.120 --> 00:10:48.120
I'm usually a product of my past, present, or future.

00:10:48.880 --> 00:10:51.880
Or I'm a product of your words.

00:10:51.880 --> 00:10:55.880
What you say is what will either grant me favor

00:10:55.880 --> 00:10:58.880
or will grant me disapproval.

00:10:58.880 --> 00:11:00.880
So when I don't think like this,

00:11:00.880 --> 00:11:04.880
this is why we often get ravaged by our past, our present, our future,

00:11:04.880 --> 00:11:10.880
and by the words that people say to our restoration or ruin,

00:11:10.880 --> 00:11:15.880
is because this is not necessarily the way I think.

00:11:16.640 --> 00:11:18.640
Therefore, my past, present, and future

00:11:18.640 --> 00:11:23.640
do have a critical role on a daily basis in my life.

00:11:33.640 --> 00:11:35.640
Therefore, there will be a deliberate attempt

00:11:35.640 --> 00:11:37.640
by the world and by this enemy

00:11:37.640 --> 00:11:43.640
to use circumstances to try and persuade me that this is false.

00:11:46.640 --> 00:11:50.640
Every circumstance that is not engineered by God

00:11:50.640 --> 00:11:52.640
and sometimes even engineered by God

00:11:52.640 --> 00:11:54.640
will be used by the enemy

00:11:54.640 --> 00:11:57.640
and by people sent from the enemy

00:11:57.640 --> 00:11:59.640
to disprove this.

00:12:01.640 --> 00:12:05.640
And it will never be an outright disproving.

00:12:05.640 --> 00:12:10.640
It will be, did God really say he has an intentional bias towards you?

00:12:10.640 --> 00:12:12.640
It's always, did God really say?

00:12:12.640 --> 00:12:14.640
It's the same Eden trick.

00:12:15.400 --> 00:12:17.400
It's always, did God really say that?

00:12:17.400 --> 00:12:19.400
But look at what's happening to you.

00:12:22.400 --> 00:12:24.400
And yet, when you look at this,

00:12:24.400 --> 00:12:27.400
you have to look at it through Christ.

00:12:29.400 --> 00:12:31.400
And so the question is,

00:12:31.400 --> 00:12:36.400
did he both believe this, live this, show it?

00:12:36.400 --> 00:12:38.400
Is this how he lived?

00:12:38.400 --> 00:12:40.400
Did he know he was highly approved?

00:12:40.400 --> 00:12:42.400
Did he know he was highly esteemed?

00:12:42.400 --> 00:12:44.400
Did he know his father's delight?

00:12:45.160 --> 00:12:47.160
Did God's love make him laugh?

00:12:47.160 --> 00:12:49.160
Was he targeted by God with kindness?

00:12:49.160 --> 00:12:51.160
Did he have access to the throne?

00:12:51.160 --> 00:12:53.160
Was there an intentional bias towards him?

00:12:53.160 --> 00:12:55.160
Did he have extra benefits?

00:12:55.160 --> 00:12:57.160
Did God take care of everything in his life

00:12:57.160 --> 00:12:59.160
so that there were no deficits?

00:12:59.160 --> 00:13:01.160
Was God's goodness tailored towards him?

00:13:01.160 --> 00:13:03.160
Was he God's favorite?

00:13:03.160 --> 00:13:07.160
And then I have to find myself in him

00:13:07.160 --> 00:13:09.160
and then begin to work my mind around it.

00:13:09.920 --> 00:13:11.920
And circumstances will always come against us

00:13:11.920 --> 00:13:13.920
as they did come against Jesus.

00:13:15.920 --> 00:13:17.920
They did come against Jesus too.

00:13:18.920 --> 00:13:20.920
Worse than us.

00:13:22.920 --> 00:13:24.920
Any questions?

00:13:28.920 --> 00:13:31.920
So one of the things that happens with favor

00:13:31.920 --> 00:13:35.920
is you access the ultimate power.

00:13:36.680 --> 00:13:40.680
Is you access the ultimate place of relationship.

00:13:40.680 --> 00:13:44.680
Ultimate place of relationship.

00:13:46.680 --> 00:13:48.680
Why do you say that?

00:13:48.680 --> 00:13:50.680
Because if you have all this,

00:13:50.680 --> 00:13:52.680
what kind of relationship is this?

00:13:57.680 --> 00:13:59.680
If I had Derek's approval,

00:13:59.680 --> 00:14:01.680
if he esteemed me highly,

00:14:01.680 --> 00:14:03.680
if he delighted in me,

00:14:04.440 --> 00:14:06.440
if he loves me in a way that makes me laugh,

00:14:06.440 --> 00:14:08.440
if he targets me with kindness,

00:14:08.440 --> 00:14:10.440
if I have access to him 24-7,

00:14:10.440 --> 00:14:14.440
if he has an intentional bias in this room towards me

00:14:14.440 --> 00:14:16.440
more than towards anybody else here,

00:14:16.440 --> 00:14:18.440
if anything he gets, I get the extra benefit,

00:14:18.440 --> 00:14:20.440
if he settles my debts,

00:14:20.440 --> 00:14:22.440
if he tailors goodness towards me,

00:14:22.440 --> 00:14:24.440
and if I am his favorite,

00:14:24.440 --> 00:14:26.440
is there any possibility that the relationship

00:14:26.440 --> 00:14:28.440
will be anything but rich?

00:14:28.440 --> 00:14:30.440
It's the ultimate place of relationship.

00:14:31.200 --> 00:14:35.200
One who displayed it, John 13.23, you see it.

00:14:35.200 --> 00:14:39.200
You see a young boy called John

00:14:39.200 --> 00:14:43.200
resting against Diesel's chest.

00:14:43.200 --> 00:14:45.200
That's how he spent his days.

00:14:45.200 --> 00:14:47.200
Why?

00:14:47.200 --> 00:14:50.200
Because he knew how to walk in the favor of his master.

00:14:50.200 --> 00:14:52.200
And favor will always lead to intimacy.

00:14:52.200 --> 00:14:54.200
Favor and intimacy are connected.

00:14:54.200 --> 00:14:58.200
Favor and intimacy are always connected.

00:14:58.960 --> 00:15:00.960
Yep.

00:15:07.960 --> 00:15:08.960
Yeah.

00:15:08.960 --> 00:15:10.960
So how do you navigate through God

00:15:10.960 --> 00:15:12.960
has no favorites, he has no bias?

00:15:12.960 --> 00:15:14.960
Because the intentional bias he has towards me

00:15:14.960 --> 00:15:18.960
is unfortunately the intentional bias he has for you too.

00:15:18.960 --> 00:15:20.960
Only don't tell me about it,

00:15:20.960 --> 00:15:22.960
because I want to be the favorite.

00:15:22.960 --> 00:15:24.960
So, on one hand,

00:15:25.720 --> 00:15:27.720
but here's the difference, Joanna.

00:15:27.720 --> 00:15:29.720
Are you Anna or are you Anna?

00:15:29.720 --> 00:15:31.720
You're Anna with an E or an A?

00:15:31.720 --> 00:15:33.720
Okay, you're Anna.

00:15:33.720 --> 00:15:35.720
Okay.

00:15:35.720 --> 00:15:37.720
I mean, it's kind of late in the day

00:15:37.720 --> 00:15:39.720
to ask you this question, but...

00:15:39.720 --> 00:15:41.720
Yeah.

00:15:41.720 --> 00:15:43.720
And your husband's name is George, right?

00:15:43.720 --> 00:15:45.720
Yeah.

00:15:45.720 --> 00:15:47.720
Okay, so...

00:15:47.720 --> 00:15:49.720
So, here's the thing.

00:15:49.720 --> 00:15:51.720
There is an intentional bias towards you from God,

00:15:51.720 --> 00:15:53.720
as he has towards Jill or Wayne,

00:15:54.480 --> 00:15:56.480
or Derek.

00:15:56.480 --> 00:15:58.480
But how do you play it?

00:15:58.480 --> 00:16:00.480
How you play it is how you begin to experience it.

00:16:00.480 --> 00:16:02.480
All of us have the same favoritism,

00:16:02.480 --> 00:16:04.480
the same bias.

00:16:04.480 --> 00:16:06.480
But some of us will be able to capture it

00:16:06.480 --> 00:16:08.480
and relate to him in such a way

00:16:08.480 --> 00:16:12.480
that now you have the intimacy to richly experience it.

00:16:16.480 --> 00:16:18.480
That's where you sometimes think,

00:16:18.480 --> 00:16:20.480
oh, God favors him.

00:16:20.480 --> 00:16:22.480
It's not God favoring him.

00:16:23.240 --> 00:16:25.240
It is that God favors everybody in the second row,

00:16:25.240 --> 00:16:27.240
but he happens to know

00:16:29.240 --> 00:16:31.240
how to get into it

00:16:31.240 --> 00:16:33.240
and now connect

00:16:33.240 --> 00:16:35.240
and experience, taste, enjoy

00:16:35.240 --> 00:16:37.240
the favor that he has.

00:16:37.240 --> 00:16:39.240
While the rest of the second row thinks,

00:16:39.240 --> 00:16:41.240
hmm, he looks highly favored.

00:16:41.240 --> 00:16:43.240
It's not that he looks highly favored,

00:16:43.240 --> 00:16:45.240
he suddenly realizes it.

00:16:47.240 --> 00:16:49.240
That's why some people look like they're more favored.

00:16:49.240 --> 00:16:51.240
They just anticipate it.

00:16:52.000 --> 00:16:54.000
They expect it.

00:16:54.000 --> 00:16:56.000
We don't.

00:16:56.000 --> 00:16:58.000
Not we don't. I don't.

00:17:04.000 --> 00:17:06.000
Yes, but at some point Christ must make a difference.

00:17:08.000 --> 00:17:10.000
Yes, it is true

00:17:10.000 --> 00:17:12.000
that our background and our growing up

00:17:12.000 --> 00:17:14.000
really affected,

00:17:14.000 --> 00:17:16.000
but I was treated well.

00:17:16.000 --> 00:17:18.000
They fed me like crazy.

00:17:18.000 --> 00:17:20.000
My sister and I

00:17:20.760 --> 00:17:22.760
had to get a tin of condensed milk

00:17:22.760 --> 00:17:24.760
just so we can glug it down whenever we want.

00:17:24.760 --> 00:17:26.760
That was how well I was treated.

00:17:26.760 --> 00:17:28.760
And my sister is going to get me for this.

00:17:34.760 --> 00:17:36.760
But see, and yet why is it that I'm struggling with?

00:17:38.760 --> 00:17:40.760
A favor.

00:17:40.760 --> 00:17:42.760
Because our lives

00:17:42.760 --> 00:17:44.760
are exposed to approval and disapproval continuously.

00:17:46.760 --> 00:17:48.760
Even the best homes with the best parents

00:17:49.520 --> 00:17:51.520
will still struggle through approval and disapproval.

00:17:53.520 --> 00:17:55.520
It's an orphanage that, the earth is an orphanage.

00:17:59.520 --> 00:18:01.520
The earth is an orphanage. Our parents will mess up.

00:18:01.520 --> 00:18:03.520
We will mess up. Our sisters and brothers will mess up.

00:18:03.520 --> 00:18:05.520
Pastors will mess up.

00:18:05.520 --> 00:18:07.520
Friends will mess up.

00:18:07.520 --> 00:18:09.520
We're continuously in this,

00:18:09.520 --> 00:18:11.520
what do you call that dish that you cultivate?

00:18:11.520 --> 00:18:13.520
Petri dish or petri dish.

00:18:13.520 --> 00:18:15.520
We're cultured in that.

00:18:16.280 --> 00:18:18.280
And at some point,

00:18:18.280 --> 00:18:20.280
I must break out.

00:18:20.280 --> 00:18:22.280
And breaking out is easy.

00:18:22.280 --> 00:18:24.280
Staying is difficult.

00:18:24.280 --> 00:18:26.280
That's where, yesterday,

00:18:26.280 --> 00:18:28.280
Conor McDavid won the skills competition.

00:18:28.280 --> 00:18:30.280
He already earned 13 million.

00:18:30.280 --> 00:18:32.280
He would win another million for winning it.

00:18:32.280 --> 00:18:34.280
And so,

00:18:34.280 --> 00:18:36.280
he won the skills competition.

00:18:36.280 --> 00:18:38.280
He won eight.

00:18:38.280 --> 00:18:40.280
Guys, feel free to come in and leave anytime you want.

00:18:40.280 --> 00:18:42.280
Oh, Sunday school, okay.

00:18:42.280 --> 00:18:44.280
Sorry.

00:18:45.040 --> 00:18:47.040
Sorry. Guys, you're doing a great job.

00:18:53.040 --> 00:18:55.040
Yesterday, Conor McDavid won the all skills competition.

00:18:57.040 --> 00:18:59.040
He won it because night out,

00:18:59.040 --> 00:19:01.040
night in, night out, day in, day out,

00:19:01.040 --> 00:19:03.040
he practices, he practices, he practices, he practices.

00:19:05.040 --> 00:19:07.040
What he does in the contest is a reflection of all this.

00:19:09.040 --> 00:19:11.040
Practice. Nobody wins

00:19:11.040 --> 00:19:13.040
on the day of the contest.

00:19:13.800 --> 00:19:15.800
Nobody wins on the day of the contest.

00:19:15.800 --> 00:19:17.800
Everybody wins

00:19:17.800 --> 00:19:19.800
before the practice that we put in.

00:19:29.800 --> 00:19:31.800
To go back to Wayne's point,

00:19:31.800 --> 00:19:33.800
we should make allowance

00:19:33.800 --> 00:19:35.800
for newcomers into the kingdom

00:19:35.800 --> 00:19:37.800
and afford them

00:19:37.800 --> 00:19:41.800
the fact that they may have come out of background

00:19:42.560 --> 00:19:44.560
where disapproval was normal.

00:19:46.560 --> 00:19:48.560
But after four or five years in Christ,

00:19:48.560 --> 00:19:50.560
that should not any longer be an excuse.

00:19:52.560 --> 00:19:54.560
We should be increasingly creating distance

00:19:54.560 --> 00:19:56.560
from our environment

00:19:56.560 --> 00:19:58.560
because of the new kingdom alignment

00:19:58.560 --> 00:20:00.560
that we are supposed to be stepping into.

00:20:02.560 --> 00:20:04.560
You're going for Sunday school too.

00:20:12.560 --> 00:20:14.560
This is the ultimate place of relationship.

00:20:15.560 --> 00:20:17.560
If I could be like Jon

00:20:17.560 --> 00:20:19.560
because favor is an open door to intimacy.

00:20:19.560 --> 00:20:21.560
Favor

00:20:21.560 --> 00:20:23.560
is an open door to intimacy.

00:20:23.560 --> 00:20:25.560
Favor is an open door to intimacy.

00:20:29.560 --> 00:20:31.560
If you are favored, you know you can be intimate.

00:20:31.560 --> 00:20:33.560
IfPh you are favored,

00:20:33.560 --> 00:20:35.560
you know you can be intimate.

00:20:39.560 --> 00:20:41.560
If you are favored, you know you can be intimate.

00:20:41.800 --> 00:20:52.720
And so to know I'm freeward allows me easy, I can traipse into his presence with hardly

00:20:52.720 --> 00:20:53.720
a thought because I know I'm freeward.

00:20:53.720 --> 00:20:56.720
Otherwise we have to do the song and dance with please forgive me and all that stuff.

00:20:56.720 --> 00:20:57.720
Such a pain, asking for forgiveness every day.

00:20:57.720 --> 00:21:02.720
It's so much easier to jump into his lap and then tell him you're sorry, then do the

00:21:02.720 --> 00:21:03.720
sorry before you jump into his lap.

00:21:04.720 --> 00:21:13.720
Conversely, lack of time or intimacy dulls you to favor.

00:21:13.720 --> 00:21:32.720
I'm so glad when I ask around the church or when Mark Butler calls me or I call someone

00:21:32.720 --> 00:21:38.720
and ask you how are you doing in terms of spending time with God.

00:21:38.720 --> 00:21:42.720
Most of us have increased the time we spent with God.

00:21:42.720 --> 00:21:50.720
Most of us in the church have increased and that's awesome because time and intimacy prevent

00:21:50.720 --> 00:21:52.720
dulling you to the favor of God.

00:21:52.720 --> 00:21:54.720
It's a virtuous cycle.

00:21:54.720 --> 00:22:02.720
Favor allows me to know that the one who favors me, I can run into his arms without a thought

00:22:02.720 --> 00:22:07.720
of what I may have done, what I feel guilty about, I can run into his arms.

00:22:07.720 --> 00:22:13.720
But once I run into his arms, in his arms, out of that intimacy, I begin to recognize

00:22:13.720 --> 00:22:16.720
even more the favor that he has towards me.

00:22:16.720 --> 00:22:21.720
And so the more the time and the intimacy we have, it's got the greater the realization

00:22:21.720 --> 00:22:22.720
of favor.

00:22:22.720 --> 00:22:27.720
And I'm sorry, I keep going back to this, but when you look at this, you realize how

00:22:27.720 --> 00:22:28.720
this can change your life.

00:22:29.720 --> 00:22:32.720
Living like this will absolutely change your life.

00:22:41.720 --> 00:22:44.720
Favor is being condemned to his generosity.

00:22:44.720 --> 00:22:48.720
Favor is being condemned.

00:22:48.720 --> 00:22:52.720
It's one of the few places you can use the word condemned well.

00:22:52.720 --> 00:22:55.720
Favor is being condemned to generosity.

00:22:55.720 --> 00:22:58.720
Favor is being condemned to generosity.

00:22:58.720 --> 00:23:14.720
Condemned to generosity where it is preferential, it is undeserved, and it stirs your heart.

00:23:18.720 --> 00:23:20.720
You want to see favor?

00:23:20.720 --> 00:23:26.720
You go to the book of 1 Samuel and you see David inviting Mephi-Boshehr, who was laid

00:23:26.720 --> 00:23:30.720
in his bed, to his table, even though Saul tried to kill him.

00:23:30.720 --> 00:23:32.720
He invites Mephi-Boshehr.

00:23:32.720 --> 00:23:34.720
Mephi-Boshehr is now sitting at the king's table.

00:23:34.720 --> 00:23:35.720
That's favor.

00:23:35.720 --> 00:23:37.720
Condemned to generosity.

00:23:37.720 --> 00:23:43.720
That family wanted Saul's family wanted David dead.

00:23:43.720 --> 00:23:48.720
David decides that I knew Saul and Jonathan.

00:23:48.720 --> 00:23:50.720
You will sit at my table.

00:23:50.720 --> 00:23:55.720
Later, even when Mephi-Boshehr doesn't turn up after David returns from his exile, after

00:23:55.720 --> 00:23:59.720
Absalom is dead, David still treats Mephi-Boshehr well.

00:23:59.720 --> 00:24:06.720
He brings him to his table and hides his lameness under the table and treats him well.

00:24:06.720 --> 00:24:09.720
Favor is being condemned to generosity.

00:24:09.720 --> 00:24:14.720
The question, though, church, is do you feel condemned to generosity?

00:24:14.720 --> 00:24:17.720
The resounding answer usually is no.

00:24:17.720 --> 00:24:24.720
It's preferential.

00:24:24.720 --> 00:24:26.720
Do you see yourself as preferred?

00:24:26.720 --> 00:24:28.720
It's undeserved.

00:24:28.720 --> 00:24:34.720
That I find very easy to figure out because undeservedness is an easy thing for most humans

00:24:34.720 --> 00:24:36.720
to handle.

00:24:36.720 --> 00:24:40.720
The two things humans handle very well, undeservedness and entitlement.

00:24:40.720 --> 00:24:45.720
Both are very, you can taste it.

00:24:45.720 --> 00:24:48.720
And then it stirs your heart.

00:24:48.720 --> 00:24:53.720
So God often uses favor and generosity to restart you.

00:24:53.720 --> 00:24:58.720
When your heart is cold, when it's passionless, when you feel distant from God.

00:24:58.720 --> 00:25:04.720
One of the tricks God uses is to do something that's tailored to you, that suddenly stirs your

00:25:04.720 --> 00:25:05.720
heart again.

00:25:05.720 --> 00:25:10.720
And usually by doing something so favorable, so generous that you think you're something,

00:25:10.720 --> 00:25:17.720
why now, when I so don't like you, are you beginning to like me so much?

00:25:17.720 --> 00:25:20.720
It wrecks you.

00:25:20.720 --> 00:25:26.720
It's an old God trick.

00:25:26.720 --> 00:25:28.720
Favor overflows.

00:25:28.720 --> 00:25:36.720
It's important to write this in caps because we think it's an occasional thing when God's in a good mood.

00:25:36.720 --> 00:25:38.720
Favor overflows.

00:25:38.720 --> 00:25:42.720
Favor overflows.

00:25:42.720 --> 00:25:47.720
It's not, nothing in heaven is rationed.

00:25:47.720 --> 00:25:49.720
Nothing in heaven is rationed.

00:25:49.720 --> 00:25:56.720
Nothing in heaven is this is what I have today.

00:25:56.720 --> 00:25:57.720
Favor overflows.

00:25:57.720 --> 00:26:03.720
So if you read Isaiah 61, verse 3, and Jesus actually changes that word when he reads it in Luke,

00:26:03.720 --> 00:26:08.720
verse 4, Jesus says, I've come to proclaim to you, or I'm asking you to go out and proclaim,

00:26:08.720 --> 00:26:12.720
or the Spirit of God is upon me, and I proclaim the year of favor.

00:26:12.720 --> 00:26:15.720
Now the word for favor was your bell or jubilee.

00:26:15.720 --> 00:26:17.720
The whole idea of jubilee was favor.

00:26:17.720 --> 00:26:19.720
Crazy, eh?

00:26:19.720 --> 00:26:21.720
We talk about jubilee as the year of jubilee.

00:26:21.720 --> 00:26:26.720
The year of jubilee was basically the year of tremendous favor.

00:26:26.720 --> 00:26:31.720
And so when you read Isaiah 61, 3, you find that when he talks about favor overflowing,

00:26:31.720 --> 00:26:39.720
can you imagine these things actually, if we could believe this, that favor means provision is supplied.

00:26:43.720 --> 00:26:45.720
Security is bestowed.

00:26:45.720 --> 00:26:47.720
Read Isaiah 61, 3 to 61, 5.

00:26:47.720 --> 00:26:51.720
You'll find these things there.

00:26:51.720 --> 00:26:59.720
Double honor bestowed.

00:26:59.720 --> 00:27:05.720
Enemies avenged.

00:27:05.720 --> 00:27:13.720
And debt or bondage reversed.

00:27:13.720 --> 00:27:19.720
Work fruitful.

00:27:19.720 --> 00:27:29.720
And as Kevin Bacon says in A Few Good Men, these are the facts and they are undisputed.

00:27:29.720 --> 00:27:34.720
Isaiah 61, 3 to 7 or 8 talks about this.

00:27:34.720 --> 00:27:36.720
Any questions?

00:27:36.720 --> 00:27:40.720
Why is this not a reality in our lives?

00:27:40.720 --> 00:27:44.720
How about we pose this question to you?

00:27:44.720 --> 00:27:50.720
I would like to change the question and say, is this your expectation?

00:27:50.720 --> 00:27:56.720
Is this your clear understanding of God?

00:27:56.720 --> 00:27:59.720
Is this the faith you have?

00:27:59.720 --> 00:28:01.720
And is this the place you occupy?

00:28:01.720 --> 00:28:05.720
My answer is usually no.

00:28:05.720 --> 00:28:11.720
Have you noticed how, till you buy the car you just bought, you didn't know there were so many of them in Vancouver?

00:28:11.720 --> 00:28:16.720
The moment you buy a Kia, you see Kias everywhere.

00:28:16.720 --> 00:28:23.720
The moment you buy a Volkswagen, you thought that was a special car and there are Volkswagens all over the place.

00:28:23.720 --> 00:28:30.720
You buy a yellow and green Acura and everybody has a yellow and green Acura.

00:28:30.720 --> 00:28:36.720
You have to see this way to be able to recognize it.

00:28:36.720 --> 00:28:43.720
It's the way heaven works and there is no way to change it.

00:28:43.720 --> 00:28:45.720
Heaven works like this.

00:28:45.720 --> 00:28:48.720
Heaven wants you to recognize an attribute of God.

00:28:48.720 --> 00:28:53.720
And the moment you recognize the attribute of God, you will see the attribute all around you.

00:28:53.720 --> 00:28:56.720
All around you.

00:28:56.720 --> 00:29:02.720
It's a divine principle.

00:29:02.720 --> 00:29:08.720
Let's say you see the attribute of God being compassionate and somehow it grabs you inside.

00:29:08.720 --> 00:29:11.720
It just changes you inside.

00:29:11.720 --> 00:29:12.720
What happens then?

00:29:12.720 --> 00:29:23.720
Everywhere you go, you will see situations and people who need God's compassion.

00:29:23.720 --> 00:29:25.720
And then it changes.

00:29:25.720 --> 00:29:29.720
In other situations, you may see people who need something else.

00:29:29.720 --> 00:29:35.720
But you see the nature of God and it begins to change you.

00:29:35.720 --> 00:29:45.720
And people who serve in certain ministries serve in certain ministries because that path has touched their hearts.

00:29:45.720 --> 00:29:56.720
I remember I used to work downtown and a group of businessmen called me to talk to them about what was happening downtown in terms of helping the homeless and things like that.

00:29:56.720 --> 00:30:00.720
And I really made them feel so guilty that they never turned up for another meeting.

00:30:00.720 --> 00:30:04.720
Because in my mind it was, hey, you guys should be downtown, not running your businesses.

00:30:04.720 --> 00:30:06.720
Take all the money from your business and put it downtown.

00:30:06.720 --> 00:30:08.720
And stuff like that. They never came back again.

00:30:08.720 --> 00:30:11.720
Because that was not their call.

00:30:11.720 --> 00:30:19.720
Sometimes what really ruins you is because you have caught a glimpse of the nature of God in a certain area.

00:30:19.720 --> 00:30:23.720
And it moves you and it may not move others to the same extent.

00:30:23.720 --> 00:30:24.720
That's okay.

00:30:24.720 --> 00:30:26.720
Some of you are passionate about justice.

00:30:26.720 --> 00:30:32.720
Some of you are passionate about telling people what God has for them.

00:30:32.720 --> 00:30:35.720
Some of you are passionate about compassion and goodwill.

00:30:35.720 --> 00:30:40.720
Some of you are passionate about going out and gathering people who do not know Jesus and telling them.

00:30:40.720 --> 00:30:42.720
Everybody should do every one of these things.

00:30:42.720 --> 00:30:46.720
But something about it grips your heart and then you can't escape it.

00:30:46.720 --> 00:30:49.720
It's the same way with favor.

00:30:49.720 --> 00:30:54.720
Once your heart begins to be gripped that this is how God is with his children.

00:30:54.720 --> 00:31:00.720
Everyone sitting here who has received Christ into their lives, this is yours.

00:31:00.720 --> 00:31:06.720
And once you begin to see like this, you'll see favor everywhere and you'll begin to anticipate it.

00:31:19.720 --> 00:31:23.720
I mean you don't get it.

00:31:23.720 --> 00:31:28.720
The trick is not to feel entitled but to expect.

00:31:28.720 --> 00:31:30.720
We won't talk about that today.

00:31:30.720 --> 00:31:41.720
Any questions, guys?

00:31:41.720 --> 00:31:42.720
No.

00:31:42.720 --> 00:31:49.720
So, condemn to generosity as in, I mean Nick brings me food but I'm condemned to bok choy every time he brings food.

00:31:49.720 --> 00:31:50.720
Doesn't matter what he brings me.

00:31:50.720 --> 00:31:56.720
He can bring me sausages, he can bring me steak, he can bring me omelets, he can bring pizza that's loaded with crap.

00:31:56.720 --> 00:31:59.720
But with that will come two bok choy.

00:31:59.720 --> 00:32:00.720
I'm condemned to bok choy.

00:32:00.720 --> 00:32:04.720
It's like you cannot escape it.

00:32:04.720 --> 00:32:07.720
Pardon?

00:32:07.720 --> 00:32:09.720
What choy?

00:32:09.720 --> 00:32:13.720
I'm condemned to you, choy.

00:32:13.720 --> 00:32:16.720
It's like inescapable.

00:32:16.720 --> 00:32:25.720
Go ahead.

00:32:25.720 --> 00:32:26.720
Yeah.

00:32:26.720 --> 00:32:34.720
So, sometimes when you get used to being treated a certain way and you don't get treated that way,

00:32:34.720 --> 00:32:38.720
you might say, I'm a king's kid, it's my right and all that stuff.

00:32:38.720 --> 00:32:42.720
And that is entitlement where now because you didn't get what you think,

00:32:42.720 --> 00:32:47.720
you behave like a churlish kid who has been denied what they think is rightfully theirs.

00:32:47.720 --> 00:32:56.720
It is rightfully yours in Christ but there will be times where you and I will go through privations that are not fun because God has some other purpose.

00:32:56.720 --> 00:33:08.720
At that time, I can't begin to scream murder.

00:33:08.720 --> 00:33:10.720
Exodus 33, 11 to 15.

00:33:10.720 --> 00:33:12.720
Exodus 33, 11 to 15.

00:33:12.720 --> 00:33:17.720
We've looked at the scripture so many times.

00:33:17.720 --> 00:33:19.720
Never ceases to fascinate me.

00:33:19.720 --> 00:33:24.720
Exodus 33, 11 to 15.

00:33:24.720 --> 00:33:29.720
I'll read from the New Living Translation.

00:33:29.720 --> 00:33:36.720
Exodus 33, 11 to 15.

00:33:36.720 --> 00:33:43.720
Inside the tent of meeting, the Lord would speak to Moses face to face as one speaks to a friend.

00:33:43.720 --> 00:33:50.720
Afterwards, Moses would return to the camp, but the young man who assisted him, Joshua, son of Nun, would remain behind in the tent of meeting.

00:33:50.720 --> 00:33:51.720
Verse 12.

00:33:51.720 --> 00:33:59.720
One day Moses said to the Lord, You've been telling me, take these people up to the promised land, but you haven't told me whom you will send with me.

00:33:59.720 --> 00:34:03.720
You have told me, I know you by name and I look favorably on you.

00:34:03.720 --> 00:34:10.720
If it is true that you look favorably on me, let me know your ways so I may understand you more fully and continue to enjoy your favor.

00:34:10.720 --> 00:34:13.720
And remember that this nation is your own very people.

00:34:13.720 --> 00:34:16.720
The Lord replied, I will personally go with you, Moses.

00:34:16.720 --> 00:34:17.720
I'll give you rest.

00:34:17.720 --> 00:34:18.720
Everything will be fine for you.

00:34:18.720 --> 00:34:22.720
Moses said, If you don't personally go with us, don't make us leave this place.

00:34:22.720 --> 00:34:27.720
How will anyone know that you look favorably on me, on me and on your people if you don't go with us?

00:34:27.720 --> 00:34:32.720
For your presence amongst us sets your people and me apart from all the people of the earth.

00:34:32.720 --> 00:34:38.720
And so how do we now break into and occupy favor?

00:34:38.720 --> 00:34:46.720
Favor demands engagement.

00:34:46.720 --> 00:34:52.720
It demands inquiry.

00:34:52.720 --> 00:35:05.720
It demands that you know what God has said.

00:35:05.720 --> 00:35:08.720
Favor demands engagement.

00:35:08.720 --> 00:35:25.720
The trick, the thing is, guys, anyone who wants to occupy a place of favor does not settle, does not settle for specialness.

00:35:25.720 --> 00:35:52.720
Instead, they push into pursuing not favor, but the one who's favor.

00:35:52.720 --> 00:35:53.720
Favor demands engagement.

00:35:53.720 --> 00:35:55.720
So Moses engages God.

00:35:55.720 --> 00:35:58.720
God has already told him, listen, I favor you, you're special.

00:35:58.720 --> 00:35:59.720
But that's not enough.

00:35:59.720 --> 00:36:01.720
He doesn't settle in a special way.

00:36:01.720 --> 00:36:08.720
That's what instant Christianity does.

00:36:08.720 --> 00:36:10.720
We have the favor of God.

00:36:10.720 --> 00:36:11.720
We have the favor of God.

00:36:11.720 --> 00:36:12.720
Great.

00:36:12.720 --> 00:36:14.720
There is a specialness upon the people of God.

00:36:14.720 --> 00:36:20.720
Yes, we have a relationship with God that no other religion and nobody without Christ has.

00:36:20.720 --> 00:36:22.720
But it's not enough to settle in that specialness.

00:36:22.720 --> 00:36:23.720
There's engagement.

00:36:23.720 --> 00:36:27.720
There's an inquiry saying, okay, if you say I'm favored, I want to increase in favor.

00:36:27.720 --> 00:36:30.720
So can you make sure that you begin to let me in on your plan?

00:36:30.720 --> 00:36:32.720
I'll spend time with you.

00:36:32.720 --> 00:36:34.720
I want to push into not favor.

00:36:34.720 --> 00:36:35.720
Favor you will give me.

00:36:35.720 --> 00:36:38.720
I want to push into you so that I know you.

00:36:38.720 --> 00:36:40.720
If I know you, I'll know how you think.

00:36:40.720 --> 00:36:43.720
If I know how you think, I'll know that your favor is with me.

00:36:43.720 --> 00:36:48.720
It's pushing into the one who gives favor.

00:36:48.720 --> 00:36:50.720
This requires time.

00:36:50.720 --> 00:36:52.720
Thank God we are creating time for it.

00:36:52.720 --> 00:37:03.720
It's good that we are creating time for it.

00:37:03.720 --> 00:37:06.720
Any questions?

00:37:06.720 --> 00:37:14.720
In today's instant gratification Christian culture, we neither have the time or the discipline or the strength to explore God's favor.

00:37:14.720 --> 00:37:32.720
In today's instant gratification Christian culture, we sometimes don't have the time or the discipline or the strength to explore favor.

00:37:32.720 --> 00:37:35.720
And so what happens?

00:37:35.720 --> 00:37:59.720
Like kids, this is important, like kids, like kids, we either delight or despise it based on answered prayer.

00:37:59.720 --> 00:38:08.720
Just embed that thought in your head that because we don't have the time or the discipline or the strength to explore favor,

00:38:08.720 --> 00:38:16.720
we become like little kids who think that if their request is answered, then the parent likes them.

00:38:16.720 --> 00:38:20.720
And if the request is not answered, then the parent doesn't like them.

00:38:20.720 --> 00:38:23.720
It boils it down to answered prayer.

00:38:23.720 --> 00:38:29.720
And that just completely implodes this idea of favor.

00:38:29.720 --> 00:38:35.720
Because when the prayer is not answered, it's a sense of God doesn't like me, God doesn't favor me.

00:38:35.720 --> 00:38:40.720
And if the prayer is answered, it is highly favored.

00:38:40.720 --> 00:38:44.720
That's childish. It's not childlike, it's childish.

00:38:44.720 --> 00:38:50.720
But all of us have fallen into that trap at some point or the other in the last one month.

00:38:50.720 --> 00:38:55.720
It implodes favor, it just collapses.

00:38:55.720 --> 00:39:00.720
Because my prayer is not being answered right now.

00:39:00.720 --> 00:39:02.720
What am I going to do?

00:39:02.720 --> 00:39:07.720
What if I had the ability of a prayer not being answered,

00:39:07.720 --> 00:39:15.720
but being able to stand happily in all those things that God has said, in the favor of God?

00:39:15.720 --> 00:39:24.720
What does it look like to delight, to laugh, to do your little jig in unanswered prayer?

00:39:24.720 --> 00:39:28.720
It's called the unanswered prayer jig.

00:39:28.720 --> 00:39:34.720
Won't that be amazing?

00:39:34.720 --> 00:39:36.720
Any questions?

00:39:36.720 --> 00:39:42.720
You do that two or three times, you break the back of this thing.

00:39:42.720 --> 00:39:46.720
It takes very little to break the back of bad habits.

00:39:46.720 --> 00:39:51.720
They have persisted for so long, but their back, their spine is actually very brittle.

00:39:51.720 --> 00:39:59.720
You break a habit two or three times, it cannot rise again.

00:39:59.720 --> 00:40:04.720
Next time a prayer is not answered, I mean, I really mean unanswered prayer jigs.

00:40:04.720 --> 00:40:10.720
Next time a prayer is not answered and you feel like favor is not on you,

00:40:10.720 --> 00:40:16.720
do one of those things.

00:40:16.720 --> 00:40:22.720
Could be, but I would say let's do the jig.

00:40:22.720 --> 00:40:26.720
And then in doing the jig what we are saying is,

00:40:26.720 --> 00:40:29.720
Father, I still believe your favor regardless of what.

00:40:29.720 --> 00:40:34.720
And now I'll go and find out whether this is the right time, not the right time, what I should do.

00:40:34.720 --> 00:40:44.720
But the jig I will do and I'll refuse to go down the road of...

00:40:44.720 --> 00:40:46.720
Yeah, agreed.

00:40:46.720 --> 00:40:48.720
Let's go and find out why.

00:40:48.720 --> 00:40:53.720
But can I do the jig so that the reason I'm saying the jig, however you want to phrase it,

00:40:53.720 --> 00:40:56.720
is instead of letting the heart become sad,

00:40:56.720 --> 00:41:05.720
let the heart go into a place of joy because of the favor of God.

00:41:05.720 --> 00:41:09.720
Unfortunately I get...

00:41:09.720 --> 00:41:12.720
I feel like a shucks.

00:41:12.720 --> 00:41:14.720
I wish it had come to pass.

00:41:14.720 --> 00:41:16.720
I want to do...

00:41:16.720 --> 00:41:22.720
I mean, things you're standing for and it doesn't happen and your heart feels disappointed.

00:41:22.720 --> 00:41:27.720
I want to know why and I'll go find out why, but my heart...

00:41:27.720 --> 00:41:29.720
First do the jig.

00:41:29.720 --> 00:41:30.720
Really.

00:41:30.720 --> 00:41:31.720
I go and I start...

00:41:31.720 --> 00:41:34.720
When something doesn't happen, the first thing I go and do is,

00:41:34.720 --> 00:41:36.720
Father, I know you're good.

00:41:36.720 --> 00:41:37.720
I know you're fair.

00:41:37.720 --> 00:41:38.720
I know you're perfect.

00:41:38.720 --> 00:41:39.720
I know you love me.

00:41:39.720 --> 00:41:41.720
There's nothing that you do wrong.

00:41:41.720 --> 00:41:45.720
I know how my heart is feeling right now, but I also not know what David has done.

00:41:45.720 --> 00:41:47.720
I know what Gideon has done.

00:41:47.720 --> 00:41:48.720
I know what others would do.

00:41:48.720 --> 00:41:51.720
They would begin to open their mouths and they would declare the goodness of God.

00:41:51.720 --> 00:41:53.720
And I come to declare the goodness of God.

00:41:53.720 --> 00:41:56.720
Then a song comes to mind and I start doing the little hop.

00:41:56.720 --> 00:41:59.720
And now my heart comes to a place of rest.

00:41:59.720 --> 00:42:02.720
Rest can come either through a hop or rest can come without a hop.

00:42:02.720 --> 00:42:04.720
You can choose your method of rest.

00:42:04.720 --> 00:42:06.720
I'm just telling you one of the things you do.

00:42:06.720 --> 00:42:11.720
And then when you come to a place of rest, now God has the ability to use his voice to speak

00:42:11.720 --> 00:42:16.720
and you have the ability to use your ears to hear.

00:42:16.720 --> 00:42:20.720
Because once you trust God, hearing is easy.

00:42:20.720 --> 00:42:28.720
Until you go back to that place of restful trust that joyfully praises God.

00:42:28.720 --> 00:42:32.720
Because remember, religion always tries to banish two things.

00:42:32.720 --> 00:42:34.720
Love, joy.

00:42:34.720 --> 00:42:40.720
Every time anything comes against you, the two things that are always attacked.

00:42:40.720 --> 00:42:42.720
Love, joy.

00:42:42.720 --> 00:42:44.720
Love, joy.

00:42:44.720 --> 00:42:46.720
Constantly under attack.

00:42:46.720 --> 00:42:50.720
Peace goes as a result.

00:42:50.720 --> 00:42:52.720
But love and joy are attacked.

00:42:52.720 --> 00:42:59.720
Can I bring in a wedge between God and you so that you don't think you are as loved and you can't love back?

00:42:59.720 --> 00:43:07.720
Can I bring in something between God and you so that you don't have the joy, the gladness, the anointing of joy or gladness?

00:43:07.720 --> 00:43:08.720
Can I bring that in?

00:43:08.720 --> 00:43:12.720
And if those two things come in, then peace begins to unravel.

00:43:12.720 --> 00:43:21.720
Which is why in most circumstances, if I have enough sense to quickly go into love and joy, I come into a place of rest.

00:43:21.720 --> 00:43:33.720
Once I come into a place of rest, I start hearing again.

00:43:33.720 --> 00:43:37.720
We don't have the time, the discipline or the strength.

00:43:37.720 --> 00:43:43.720
Sometimes running after God or sticking with God on something requires stamina.

00:43:43.720 --> 00:43:46.720
It's not easy. We flag easily.

00:43:46.720 --> 00:43:56.720
I was listening to the story of a leader of a very large nation here on earth who had to inaugurate an institution.

00:43:56.720 --> 00:44:04.720
And he fasted for 11 days and prepared himself to engage in that ritual.

00:44:04.720 --> 00:44:09.720
And I'm thinking to myself, this man is the leader of a huge nation.

00:44:09.720 --> 00:44:12.720
He has a political religious thing to do.

00:44:12.720 --> 00:44:15.720
He fasts for 11 days to do that.

00:44:15.720 --> 00:44:26.720
And why is it that, Jacob, you don't have the stamina to fast for two meals sometimes to see something in the spiritual come to pass?

00:44:26.720 --> 00:44:29.720
It requires stamina. It's not easy.

00:44:29.720 --> 00:44:34.720
But once you start with stamina, you'll find that whatever you're doing, you'll find a joy in.

00:44:34.720 --> 00:44:38.720
Getting up to run is the worst thing ever.

00:44:38.720 --> 00:44:44.720
Once you start running, I have heard, it is highly enjoyable.

00:44:44.720 --> 00:44:49.720
So you do require stamina in Christianity.

00:44:49.720 --> 00:44:52.720
You do require stamina in Christianity.

00:44:52.720 --> 00:44:57.720
I was talking to someone yesterday and I said, you and I are lazy.

00:44:57.720 --> 00:45:00.720
Because we don't use time well.

00:45:00.720 --> 00:45:07.720
Ask this question of ourselves, do you make time, do you find time, or do you waste time?

00:45:07.720 --> 00:45:16.720
Do you make time, do you find time, or do you waste time?

00:45:16.720 --> 00:45:22.720
You can only make time for something that you're absolutely delighted.

00:45:23.720 --> 00:45:28.720
You find time for things that you know are a necessity.

00:45:28.720 --> 00:45:32.720
And you waste time when you are not passionate about something.

00:45:32.720 --> 00:45:40.720
Anybody who says, I don't have time for this, usually means, I'm really not passionate about this.

00:45:40.720 --> 00:45:47.720
Anyone who says, I don't have time for this, is usually someone who does not have a passion for it.

00:45:47.720 --> 00:45:50.720
But you always make time for things that you're passionate about.

00:45:50.720 --> 00:45:54.720
You find time for things that you know are necessary.

00:45:54.720 --> 00:45:59.720
And you waste time when there is no passion for this.

00:46:14.720 --> 00:46:16.720
So how can we stay in this?

00:46:16.720 --> 00:46:18.720
Adapt to what God is focusing on.

00:46:18.720 --> 00:46:25.720
Adapt to what God is focusing on.

00:46:27.720 --> 00:46:34.720
Let's assume it's, can I help you walk in favor?

00:46:34.720 --> 00:46:36.720
Adapt to it.

00:46:36.720 --> 00:46:49.720
As in, make favor, centerpiece, and adapt life and the way you think, the way you behave, the way you respond, all into this.

00:46:49.720 --> 00:46:53.720
Adapt to what God is focusing on.

00:46:53.720 --> 00:47:06.720
And if you do, he gives you stamina to pursue it long term.

00:47:10.720 --> 00:47:13.720
Why does God need to give you strength to pursue it long term?

00:47:13.720 --> 00:47:17.720
Because a miracle is something God can do instantly.

00:47:17.720 --> 00:47:20.720
But a habit is not cultivated through a miracle.

00:47:20.720 --> 00:47:23.720
A habit is cultivated through practice.

00:47:26.720 --> 00:47:28.720
And so he gives you the strength.

00:47:28.720 --> 00:47:30.720
He gives you the stamina to pursue it long term.

00:47:30.720 --> 00:47:33.720
And when you pursue something long term, it becomes...

00:47:33.720 --> 00:47:35.720
Jesus had to go through the same thing.

00:47:35.720 --> 00:47:42.720
That one verse is so non-descriptive sometimes, but it says in Luke 1.52 or Luke 2.52,

00:47:42.720 --> 00:47:48.720
and Jesus grew in wisdom and favor and stature.

00:47:48.720 --> 00:47:49.720
Look at it.

00:47:49.720 --> 00:47:52.720
Jesus grew in... wasn't he full of favor?

00:47:52.720 --> 00:47:54.720
But Jesus grew.

00:47:54.720 --> 00:47:55.720
Crazy.

00:47:55.720 --> 00:47:57.720
The one who is highly favored.

00:47:57.720 --> 00:47:59.720
There's nobody that has favored as him.

00:47:59.720 --> 00:48:01.720
It is because of the favor on him that you and I are favored.

00:48:01.720 --> 00:48:03.720
But Jesus grew in it.

00:48:03.720 --> 00:48:06.720
He had to learn it.

00:48:06.720 --> 00:48:13.720
Jesus grew in wisdom, in favor, and in stature with God and with man.

00:48:14.720 --> 00:48:19.720
That's why you need the strength to see through.

00:48:22.720 --> 00:48:27.720
The other thing is, guys, sometimes I wonder why after I do two days of sticking with something,

00:48:27.720 --> 00:48:28.720
why it doesn't work.

00:48:28.720 --> 00:48:35.720
Because singular focus, the opposite of singular focus is double-mindedness.

00:48:35.720 --> 00:48:39.720
Where when something doesn't work after the second day, you abandon it.

00:48:40.720 --> 00:48:45.720
Hey, like a gymnast that attacks those uneven bars, you fall off, get back on.

00:48:45.720 --> 00:48:48.720
Singular focus, because double-mindedness gets you very little.

00:48:48.720 --> 00:48:51.720
James 1, verse 6 talks about it.

00:48:51.720 --> 00:48:54.720
Go back. Go back.

00:48:56.720 --> 00:49:03.720
If even one or two of these things became normal for us,

00:49:03.720 --> 00:49:07.720
normal as in breathe in, breathe out.

00:49:07.720 --> 00:49:10.720
Back's on, back's off.

00:49:20.720 --> 00:49:25.720
And when you're not feeling like it, then go back to the thing we've repeated many times.

00:49:25.720 --> 00:49:28.720
Use words to move.

00:49:32.720 --> 00:49:34.720
You're also going for Sunday School Zia? It's the other way.

00:49:38.720 --> 00:49:47.720
Use words to move from feelings, to feelings of not being favored,

00:49:49.720 --> 00:49:56.720
to the truth of favor.

00:49:56.720 --> 00:49:58.720
Use words.

00:50:01.720 --> 00:50:04.720
Replace negatives. Practice replacing negatives.

00:50:08.720 --> 00:50:21.720
With something more powerful in thought and in language.

00:50:23.720 --> 00:50:26.720
Words matter, guys. Construct your own sentences.

00:50:26.720 --> 00:50:29.720
Use words. It's so important.

00:50:31.720 --> 00:50:33.720
God is a word god.

00:50:33.720 --> 00:50:36.720
He uses words. From the beginning, he's used words.

00:50:36.720 --> 00:50:39.720
Audible words.

00:50:39.720 --> 00:50:43.720
So replace negatives with something more powerful.

00:50:43.720 --> 00:51:03.720
So replace negatives, use words.

00:51:03.720 --> 00:51:06.720
Phrase it into something.

00:51:06.720 --> 00:51:10.720
So use the iPhone to your advantage.

00:51:10.720 --> 00:51:13.720
Samsung may work too, but use it to your advantage.

00:51:13.720 --> 00:51:18.720
Write down stuff and say, Jesus, this is how I always get triggered,

00:51:18.720 --> 00:51:21.720
but these are the words I will use now.

00:51:24.720 --> 00:51:27.720
Yeah, where you, as long as the words are used.

00:51:27.720 --> 00:51:28.720
Yeah, yeah.

00:51:32.720 --> 00:51:52.720
Sometimes quickly, repeatedly, speak back God's words of favor to him in agreement.

00:51:53.720 --> 00:52:01.720
Why? Because can Amos 3-3, can two walk together except maybe?

00:52:01.720 --> 00:52:04.720
Agreed. Speak words. Speak words back to him.

00:52:04.720 --> 00:52:08.720
The very words that you have seen him speak, say it back to him.

00:52:08.720 --> 00:52:10.720
You have said, and I believe it.

00:52:10.720 --> 00:52:15.720
There's a Sunday school song. God said it. I believe it.

00:52:15.720 --> 00:52:19.720
And that settles it for me. God said it. I believe it.

00:52:19.720 --> 00:52:21.720
That settles it for me. And it goes on about six times.

00:52:21.720 --> 00:52:24.720
But basically, God said it. I believe it. And it settles.

00:52:24.720 --> 00:52:27.720
You're saying it back to him. You're not saying it back to him like a mantra.

00:52:27.720 --> 00:52:29.720
You're saying it back to him in agreement. Father, I agree with this.

00:52:29.720 --> 00:52:32.720
And then change it. Change it.

00:52:35.720 --> 00:52:38.720
Pardon? You have to know the word.

00:52:38.720 --> 00:52:41.720
You have to know the word. And then use JLT. It's a great version.

00:52:41.720 --> 00:52:48.720
Yep. JLT is not a version. It's Jacob's Living Translation.

00:52:48.720 --> 00:52:53.720
Just in case people were Googling JLT. Sorry.

00:52:53.720 --> 00:52:56.720
Three.

00:52:56.720 --> 00:53:02.720
Guys, the other thing is, this is a side topic, but it's important for everybody now.

00:53:02.720 --> 00:53:05.720
Social media is not a strengthener. It's a pacifier.

00:53:05.720 --> 00:53:09.720
Social media is not a strengthener. It's a pacifier.

00:53:09.720 --> 00:53:13.720
Just like you put that little rubber thing in a kid's mouth,

00:53:13.720 --> 00:53:18.720
that's how Facebook, Instagram, and the other thing is.

00:53:18.720 --> 00:53:22.720
What's the other thing? YouTube. Aha. Found you.

00:53:22.720 --> 00:53:27.720
So you seem to have a problem. None of us said YouTube.

00:53:27.720 --> 00:53:37.720
So Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or X, and let's add YouTube.

00:53:37.720 --> 00:53:41.720
Yeah? So, TikTok. Yeah.

00:53:41.720 --> 00:53:47.720
So what happens is, we see these are pacifiers.

00:53:47.720 --> 00:53:56.720
And they dull you, they dull your exhausted soul to the transfusion of the spirit

00:53:56.720 --> 00:54:00.720
in the waking and the sleeping hours.

00:54:00.720 --> 00:54:05.720
I want to word it correctly. Social media is not a strengthener.

00:54:05.720 --> 00:54:08.720
It's not a thing that gives you anything.

00:54:08.720 --> 00:54:14.720
It's actually a pacifier that dulls your exhausted soul.

00:54:14.720 --> 00:54:21.720
Because most of us begin to look at it when we are weary and exhausted.

00:54:21.720 --> 00:54:24.720
And as you lie down, you begin to flip through it.

00:54:24.720 --> 00:54:28.720
It dulls your exhausted soul.

00:54:28.720 --> 00:54:38.720
To the infusion and the transfusion of the life of the spirit, it dulls us.

00:54:38.720 --> 00:54:46.720
Most of us only go and look at it because we work and our bosses wouldn't like you Facebooking during working hours.

00:54:46.720 --> 00:54:49.720
We look at it when you go to bed.

00:54:49.720 --> 00:54:55.720
I'm not saying we're looking at anything bad or sexually corrupt or anything of that sort.

00:54:55.720 --> 00:54:58.720
It's mindless.

00:54:58.720 --> 00:55:03.720
I mean, one day our thumbs will disappear.

00:55:03.720 --> 00:55:07.720
One day my nose will nearly disappear because I dropped the phone on my nose.

00:55:07.720 --> 00:55:09.720
That's what happened.

00:55:09.720 --> 00:55:14.720
So, just be mindful of it.

00:55:14.720 --> 00:55:18.720
Favour rockets when you stop piloting your life.

00:55:18.720 --> 00:55:20.720
Favour rockets.

00:55:20.720 --> 00:55:23.720
Favour rockets when you stop...

00:55:23.720 --> 00:55:28.720
Favour rockets when you stop piloting your life.

00:55:31.720 --> 00:55:35.720
Stop piloting your life.

00:55:35.720 --> 00:55:37.720
And when you ditch control.

00:55:37.720 --> 00:55:40.720
When you ditch control, favour rockets.

00:55:44.720 --> 00:55:49.720
I remember Eric telling the story of how his son was building a...

00:55:49.720 --> 00:55:55.720
With chairs and with a lot of cloth he was building this tent.

00:55:55.720 --> 00:55:59.720
And Eric was looking at it and he was telling his son, listen, that'll collapse.

00:55:59.720 --> 00:56:00.720
You need to do this.

00:56:00.720 --> 00:56:03.720
But the son wanted to do it all himself.

00:56:03.720 --> 00:56:05.720
And so he builds it and then he goes into it.

00:56:05.720 --> 00:56:08.720
And when he goes into the whole thing, collapses.

00:56:08.720 --> 00:56:09.720
He didn't want to let go.

00:56:09.720 --> 00:56:13.720
And then Eric goes in, he fixes it and the whole thing stands.

00:56:13.720 --> 00:56:19.720
Without ditching control, without giving up piloting, favour is very hard to recognise.

00:56:19.720 --> 00:56:25.720
Because as long as I'm in control, there's only limited favour that I can experience.

00:56:31.720 --> 00:56:34.720
How do you recognise when you take back control?

00:56:34.720 --> 00:56:38.720
I think one of the ways you recognise when you're taking back control is you lose rest.

00:56:40.720 --> 00:56:42.720
Yeah, you lose rest.

00:56:42.720 --> 00:56:46.720
It's the sense of suddenly, suddenly everything is back to frantic.

00:56:46.720 --> 00:56:47.720
I've got to make it happen.

00:56:47.720 --> 00:56:48.720
I've got to do this.

00:56:48.720 --> 00:56:50.720
Deadlines are approaching.

00:56:50.720 --> 00:56:54.720
God, you have no sense of time here on earth.

00:56:54.720 --> 00:56:56.720
Got to do it right now.

00:56:56.720 --> 00:57:00.720
It's the sense of, you know, you're not going to get it.

00:57:00.720 --> 00:57:02.720
Got to do it right now.

00:57:02.720 --> 00:57:06.720
It's literally like taking back.

00:57:06.720 --> 00:57:10.720
I know I'm back in control when I realise that rest is gone.

00:57:10.720 --> 00:57:13.720
And it's back to juggling everything.

00:57:13.720 --> 00:57:14.720
I hate it.

00:57:14.720 --> 00:57:16.720
Again, I was talking to this person last night.

00:57:16.720 --> 00:57:18.720
I'm telling the person that.

00:57:18.720 --> 00:57:21.720
You go pick this option because you think it's gone.

00:57:21.720 --> 00:57:24.720
And then you see an option out of the corner of your eye which seems better and cheaper.

00:57:24.720 --> 00:57:25.720
So you go get that option.

00:57:25.720 --> 00:57:27.720
By the time you click the button there, that's gone up.

00:57:27.720 --> 00:57:29.720
And then you go back here and this has gone up too.

00:57:29.720 --> 00:57:33.720
And then it's this mess, man, that happens in your heart.

00:57:35.720 --> 00:57:39.720
Sometimes I don't like preaching because it looks like I'm the only one who has these problems.

00:57:39.720 --> 00:57:46.720
But the thing is that's one of the ways you can recognise that you have taken control.

00:57:46.720 --> 00:57:56.720
And the other way you can recognise that you've taken control is there's no need of faith.

00:57:57.720 --> 00:57:59.720
There's no need of faith.

00:57:59.720 --> 00:58:02.720
When I'm in control, I don't need much faith.

00:58:03.720 --> 00:58:05.720
I don't need much faith.

00:58:05.720 --> 00:58:07.720
I don't have to trust God for the outcome.

00:58:07.720 --> 00:58:13.720
Because the idea of control is to determine the outcome.

00:58:13.720 --> 00:58:16.720
That's the whole idea of control.

00:58:16.720 --> 00:58:19.720
The idea of control is to determine the outcome.

00:58:19.720 --> 00:58:21.720
Go ahead, Sade.

00:58:21.720 --> 00:58:24.720
Rest in? Complacency.

00:58:24.720 --> 00:58:28.720
Yeah. Rest is doing exactly what God tells you to.

00:58:28.720 --> 00:58:32.720
Complacency is doing nothing, hoping that things will work out.

00:58:33.720 --> 00:58:37.720
Complacency is God is in control.

00:58:37.720 --> 00:58:39.720
God will do what he needs to do.

00:58:39.720 --> 00:58:42.720
Keisar Asra, whatever it will be, will be.

00:58:42.720 --> 00:58:44.720
Kamsi Kamsa.

00:58:44.720 --> 00:58:45.720
He's good.

00:58:45.720 --> 00:58:47.720
He knows what is right.

00:58:47.720 --> 00:58:49.720
He knows what is wrong.

00:58:49.720 --> 00:58:50.720
He's good.

00:58:50.720 --> 00:58:52.720
He knows what is right and what is wrong.

00:58:53.720 --> 00:58:55.720
That is complacency.

00:58:55.720 --> 00:58:58.720
Rest always involves obedience.

00:58:58.720 --> 00:59:03.720
If you read Hebrews chapter 4, very clearly it says there that they did not enter my rest

00:59:03.720 --> 00:59:07.720
because they did not mix these two ingredients together, faith and obedience.

00:59:07.720 --> 00:59:11.720
And you cannot obey unless you know what you're being told.

00:59:11.720 --> 00:59:16.720
So Gideon complacent, no, Joshua complacent will be,

00:59:16.720 --> 00:59:24.720
these walls look big, but, and he starts singing Don's favorite song.

00:59:24.720 --> 00:59:27.720
These walls will fall, but he doesn't do anything about it.

00:59:27.720 --> 00:59:29.720
So that's complacency.

00:59:29.720 --> 00:59:31.720
Instead, what does Joshua do? Joshua goes, seeks God.

00:59:31.720 --> 00:59:34.720
God says, go around the walls seven times.

00:59:34.720 --> 00:59:36.720
He doesn't do anything else.

00:59:36.720 --> 00:59:38.720
He does exactly what God tells.

00:59:38.720 --> 00:59:44.720
Rest will always have faith and obedience, and obedience will require a command.

00:59:44.720 --> 00:59:46.720
And you can't do anything more.

00:59:46.720 --> 00:59:50.720
The moment you do anything more, you've gone from rest into once again taking control.

00:59:50.720 --> 00:59:53.720
Well, complacency is not doing anything.

00:59:53.720 --> 00:59:56.720
Just waiting for God's goodness to make it happen.

00:59:56.720 --> 01:00:01.720
Nothing wrong with that, but that's like, let's assume you were married

01:00:01.720 --> 01:00:05.720
and it's your wife's birthday and you have to buy a gift for her.

01:00:05.720 --> 01:00:10.720
And you're saying, whatever will be, will be, and you go to Bay

01:00:10.720 --> 01:00:13.720
and you pick up something like a vacuum cleaner and you can't understand.

01:00:13.720 --> 01:00:16.720
You just can't understand why she's not excited.

01:00:16.720 --> 01:00:21.720
So you have to know. As you know, you will hear.

01:00:21.720 --> 01:00:24.720
Never make that mistake, I'm sorry.

01:00:24.720 --> 01:00:26.720
Pardon?

01:00:26.720 --> 01:00:28.720
Unless it's Dyson.

01:00:28.720 --> 01:00:30.720
Yeah.

01:00:30.720 --> 01:00:37.720
When?

01:00:37.720 --> 01:00:41.720
When, Anna?

01:00:41.720 --> 01:00:44.720
Sorry, I wanted to use your name. Sorry, when?

01:00:44.720 --> 01:00:51.720
Other than taking control back, be a type of restlessness.

01:00:51.720 --> 01:00:55.720
Even when things are with God, even if you want to give up,

01:00:55.720 --> 01:00:57.720
you're still somewhere to experience the restlessness.

01:00:57.720 --> 01:01:00.720
This is not where it's supposed to be.

01:01:00.720 --> 01:01:03.720
Yeah, if there's a restlessness, go and engage again.

01:01:03.720 --> 01:01:07.720
Father, this isn't, something doesn't seem right.

01:01:07.720 --> 01:01:08.720
Please, can you help me?

01:01:08.720 --> 01:01:12.720
Either give me peace about it or help me understand why I'm feeling the way I'm feeling.

01:01:12.720 --> 01:01:16.720
Guys, always remember, this is a father-child conversation, everything.

01:01:16.720 --> 01:01:19.720
Part of the reason he does not sometimes answer you immediately

01:01:19.720 --> 01:01:21.720
is so that he can engage you in a conversation.

01:01:21.720 --> 01:01:24.720
Crazy. Your parents do that with your children.

01:01:24.720 --> 01:01:30.720
They ask you for something and you ask them questions like, why?

01:01:30.720 --> 01:01:32.720
I go with a problem, math problem to my dad,

01:01:32.720 --> 01:01:35.720
and he would want to know why I don't understand it.

01:01:35.720 --> 01:01:40.720
I don't.

01:01:40.720 --> 01:01:45.720
The why question is always so that you can engage the father in a conversation.

01:01:45.720 --> 01:01:50.720
So when restlessness comes, again, it's a question of going.

01:01:50.720 --> 01:01:55.720
Let me conclude because the water is getting cold.

01:02:06.720 --> 01:02:25.720
His promises are dynamite sticks of goodness and favor.

01:02:25.720 --> 01:02:31.720
His promises are dynamite sticks of goodness and favor.

01:02:31.720 --> 01:02:36.720
Can you and I begin to, when we claim promises or look at promises in the Bible,

01:02:36.720 --> 01:02:51.720
can you look at each promise in terms of it carries his heart towards you?

01:02:51.720 --> 01:03:01.720
It announces his presence for you.

01:03:01.720 --> 01:03:11.720
It guarantees his presence for you.

01:03:11.720 --> 01:03:24.720
It guarantees his tailored outcome full of goodness.

01:03:24.720 --> 01:03:31.720
Can we do that? Yeah?

01:03:31.720 --> 01:03:36.720
Try that so that promises are not just things he has said,

01:03:36.720 --> 01:03:41.720
but a promise, be it for healing, be it for provision, be it for love,

01:03:41.720 --> 01:03:45.720
be it for marriage, be it for restoration of relationship,

01:03:45.720 --> 01:03:49.720
be it for spiritual growth, that each promise carries his heart towards you.

01:03:49.720 --> 01:03:54.720
Sometimes the way you can take a promise and figure out the heart of God

01:03:54.720 --> 01:03:59.720
is to rewrite it as if he's saying it to you.

01:03:59.720 --> 01:04:04.720
So by his stripes, you are healed.

01:04:04.720 --> 01:04:09.720
Why not take it and write it as either you saying it or he's saying it?

01:04:09.720 --> 01:04:14.720
Everything good, Zia?

01:04:14.720 --> 01:04:19.720
So why not rewrite it as Jesus, your back was plowed open.

01:04:19.720 --> 01:04:26.720
When it was plowed open, it was done so that I may not have to carry the sicknesses and diseases that I carry.

01:04:26.720 --> 01:04:29.720
You even thought of that.

01:04:30.720 --> 01:04:35.720
You don't want me as your child to have to carry it.

01:04:35.720 --> 01:04:40.720
When you rewrite it that way, what you're doing is you're digging into a promise

01:04:40.720 --> 01:04:44.720
and not taking it as a check to the bank.

01:04:44.720 --> 01:04:48.720
You're taking it as this is what he did and why he did it.

01:04:48.720 --> 01:04:51.720
Each promise carries the heart of God.

01:04:51.720 --> 01:04:53.720
Each promise announces his presence.

01:04:53.720 --> 01:04:58.720
A promise must usher his presence to you.

01:04:58.720 --> 01:05:03.720
He should be there.

01:05:03.720 --> 01:05:06.720
You don't want his word there, you want him there.

01:05:06.720 --> 01:05:13.720
If he's there, then you are not contractually looking at the promise.

01:05:13.720 --> 01:05:18.720
You are happily looking at him.

01:05:23.720 --> 01:05:26.720
His promise should usher in his presence.

01:05:26.720 --> 01:05:35.720
And finally, look at his promises guaranteeing you an outcome where his goodness will bathe you.

01:05:35.720 --> 01:05:39.720
Where his goodness will bathe you.

01:05:42.720 --> 01:05:46.720
I said this last time, CS Lewis's line,

01:05:46.720 --> 01:05:51.720
if we don't slow down, our hearts cannot be formed.

01:05:52.720 --> 01:05:56.720
It's essential guys, at this stage in our lives at this church,

01:05:56.720 --> 01:06:01.720
if we don't slow down, our hearts cannot be formed.

01:06:01.720 --> 01:06:05.720
We have to slow down.

01:06:05.720 --> 01:06:11.720
So if this is what you think God is focusing on, embrace it.

01:06:11.720 --> 01:06:17.720
I'm trying hard to get up and see myself through these eyes that Christ has

01:06:17.720 --> 01:06:22.720
so that I can walk in it regardless of what circumstances or what ravages or what waves come.

01:06:22.720 --> 01:06:25.720
This is where I lodge.

01:06:25.720 --> 01:06:28.720
Yeah? Any questions?

01:06:28.720 --> 01:06:32.720
May, Lenny, you want to go there?

01:06:32.720 --> 01:06:39.720
Make sure you don't have your watch, your wallet, and stuff like that that doesn't react well to water.

01:06:48.720 --> 01:06:51.720
Guys, I'm going to Ewonee to come up.

01:06:51.720 --> 01:06:54.720
Ewonee, if you can do that song.

01:07:06.720 --> 01:07:09.720
I'm going to see you, victory.

01:07:18.720 --> 01:07:23.720
Brandon, it's okay to have the baptism on live stream. That's fine.

01:07:38.720 --> 01:07:41.720
Is this, this works in water?

01:07:41.720 --> 01:07:44.720
No. Okay.

01:07:47.720 --> 01:07:50.720
See you, victory.

01:08:17.720 --> 01:08:20.720
Thank you.

01:08:47.720 --> 01:08:50.720
Oh, my God.

01:09:00.720 --> 01:09:03.720
I'm gonna see a victory.

01:09:03.720 --> 01:09:06.720
I'm gonna see a victory.

01:09:06.720 --> 01:09:08.720
Oh,

01:09:08.720 --> 01:09:11.720
the battle.

01:09:11.720 --> 01:09:14.720
Oh,

01:09:14.720 --> 01:09:17.720
the victory.

01:09:17.720 --> 01:09:19.720
Oh,

01:09:19.720 --> 01:09:22.720
the victory.

01:09:22.720 --> 01:09:25.720
Oh,

01:09:25.720 --> 01:09:28.720
the

01:09:28.720 --> 01:09:31.720
victory.

01:09:34.720 --> 01:09:40.720
This power in the mighty name of Jesus.

01:09:43.720 --> 01:09:48.720
Every war he wages he will win.

01:09:50.720 --> 01:09:55.720
I'm not backing down from any giant.

01:09:56.720 --> 01:10:01.720
I know how the story ends.

01:10:01.720 --> 01:10:03.720
This power.

01:10:03.720 --> 01:10:09.720
This power in the mighty name of Jesus.

01:10:11.720 --> 01:10:16.720
Every war he wages he will win.

01:10:18.720 --> 01:10:23.720
I'm not backing down from any giant.

01:10:24.720 --> 01:10:29.720
I know how the story ends.

01:10:32.720 --> 01:10:37.720
I know the story ends.

01:10:37.720 --> 01:10:40.720
I'm gonna see a victory.

01:10:40.720 --> 01:10:44.720
I'm gonna see a victory.

01:10:44.720 --> 01:10:46.720
Oh,

01:10:46.720 --> 01:10:48.720
the battle.

01:10:48.720 --> 01:10:50.720
Oh,

01:10:50.720 --> 01:10:52.720
the victory.

01:10:52.720 --> 01:10:55.720
I'm gonna see a victory.

01:10:55.720 --> 01:10:59.720
I'm gonna see a victory.

01:10:59.720 --> 01:11:01.720
Oh,

01:11:01.720 --> 01:11:04.720
the battle.

01:11:06.720 --> 01:11:08.720
Oh,

01:11:08.720 --> 01:11:10.720
the victory.

01:11:10.720 --> 01:11:12.720
Oh,

01:11:12.720 --> 01:11:14.720
the victory.

01:11:14.720 --> 01:11:16.720
Oh,

01:11:16.720 --> 01:11:19.720
the battle.

01:11:22.720 --> 01:11:27.720
You take what the enemy meant forever

01:11:27.720 --> 01:11:31.720
and you turn it for good.

01:11:31.720 --> 01:11:35.720
You turn it for good.

01:11:36.720 --> 01:11:41.720
You take what the enemy meant forever

01:11:41.720 --> 01:11:45.720
and you turn it for good.

01:11:45.720 --> 01:11:49.720
You turn it for good.

01:11:50.720 --> 01:11:55.720
You take what the enemy meant forever

01:11:55.720 --> 01:11:59.720
and you turn it for good.

01:11:59.720 --> 01:12:03.720
You turn it for good.

01:12:05.720 --> 01:12:09.720
You take what the enemy meant forever

01:12:09.720 --> 01:12:13.720
and you turn it for good.

01:12:13.720 --> 01:12:17.720
You turn it for good.

01:12:17.720 --> 01:12:20.720
I'm gonna see a victory.

01:12:20.720 --> 01:12:24.720
I'm gonna see a victory.

01:12:24.720 --> 01:12:26.720
Oh,

01:12:26.720 --> 01:12:30.720
the battle belongs to you.

01:12:31.720 --> 01:12:34.720
I'm gonna see a victory.

01:12:34.720 --> 01:12:38.720
I'm gonna see a victory.

01:12:38.720 --> 01:12:40.720
Oh,

01:12:40.720 --> 01:12:43.720
the battle belongs to you.

01:12:47.720 --> 01:12:50.720
It's getting a little cold here.

01:12:50.720 --> 01:12:53.720
I should have asked you to do a shorter song.

01:12:53.720 --> 01:12:56.720
Do a shorter song.

01:12:59.720 --> 01:13:01.720
Thanks, Tony.

01:13:02.720 --> 01:13:05.720
Okay, guys, wanna read two scriptures

01:13:05.720 --> 01:13:10.720
and then what we'll do after that is

01:13:10.720 --> 01:13:13.720
May will ask Lenny the question she wants to ask

01:13:13.720 --> 01:13:14.720
and then baptize her.

01:13:14.720 --> 01:13:17.720
And then we'll pray for her that

01:13:17.720 --> 01:13:19.720
because she's emptied herself

01:13:19.720 --> 01:13:22.720
may the Holy Spirit infuse her with new strength.

01:13:22.720 --> 01:13:26.720
And then as the rest of us go to change

01:13:26.720 --> 01:13:28.720
we'll end with that song which says

01:13:28.720 --> 01:13:31.720
what's that song?

01:13:31.720 --> 01:13:33.720
Yeah.

01:13:33.720 --> 01:13:35.720
No, he reigns.

01:13:35.720 --> 01:13:37.720
How does the first verse go?

01:13:37.720 --> 01:13:39.720
Let the song of the redeemed, yeah?

01:13:39.720 --> 01:13:40.720
We'll sing that.

01:13:40.720 --> 01:13:42.720
I mean, when you look around you suddenly see

01:13:42.720 --> 01:13:46.720
how many different tribes, nations, and ethnicities

01:13:46.720 --> 01:13:47.720
we come from, eh?

01:13:47.720 --> 01:13:49.720
It's been good, guys.

01:13:49.720 --> 01:13:50.720
So here are the two scriptures.

01:13:50.720 --> 01:13:52.720
One is from 1 Peter 3.20

01:13:52.720 --> 01:13:53.720
and it says,

01:13:53.720 --> 01:13:55.720
Those who disobeyed God long ago,

01:13:55.720 --> 01:13:57.720
when God waited patiently

01:13:57.720 --> 01:14:00.720
while Noah was building his boat,

01:14:00.720 --> 01:14:03.720
only eight people were saved from drowning

01:14:03.720 --> 01:14:05.720
in that terrible flood.

01:14:05.720 --> 01:14:08.720
And that water is a picture of baptism

01:14:08.720 --> 01:14:10.720
which now saves you.

01:14:10.720 --> 01:14:12.720
Not by removing dirt from your body,

01:14:12.720 --> 01:14:16.720
but as a response to God from a clean conscience.

01:14:16.720 --> 01:14:17.720
That's what she's doing, eh?

01:14:17.720 --> 01:14:21.720
A response to God from a clean conscience.

01:14:21.720 --> 01:14:25.720
It is effective because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

01:14:25.720 --> 01:14:28.720
Now the verse is from 1 Corinthians 10.

01:14:28.720 --> 01:14:33.720
1 Corinthians 10.

01:14:33.720 --> 01:14:35.720
In 1 Corinthians 10 it says,

01:14:35.720 --> 01:14:37.720
I don't want you to forget, dear brothers and sisters,

01:14:37.720 --> 01:14:40.720
about our ancestors in the wilderness long ago.

01:14:40.720 --> 01:14:42.720
All of them were guided by a cloud

01:14:42.720 --> 01:14:43.720
that moved ahead of them.

01:14:43.720 --> 01:14:46.720
All of them walked through the sea on dry ground.

01:14:46.720 --> 01:14:48.720
In the cloud and in the sea,

01:14:48.720 --> 01:14:51.720
all of them were baptized as followers of Moses.

01:14:51.720 --> 01:14:54.720
Only in this case we are being baptized into Jesus.

01:14:54.720 --> 01:14:55.720
Yeah?

01:14:55.720 --> 01:15:02.720
And then one last scripture, John chapter 1.

01:15:02.720 --> 01:15:10.720
John chapter 1, verse 32.

01:15:10.720 --> 01:15:12.720
The reason I'm reading the baptism of Jesus

01:15:12.720 --> 01:15:14.720
from this scripture is because we realize

01:15:14.720 --> 01:15:18.720
that the dove was not something that just Jesus saw.

01:15:18.720 --> 01:15:20.720
It was something John saw too.

01:15:20.720 --> 01:15:23.720
The voice perhaps was heard by more than just Jesus.

01:15:23.720 --> 01:15:25.720
And so it says here in John 1, 32,

01:15:25.720 --> 01:15:28.720
Then John testified, I saw the Holy Spirit

01:15:28.720 --> 01:15:30.720
descending like a dove from heaven

01:15:30.720 --> 01:15:32.720
and resting upon him.

01:15:32.720 --> 01:15:34.720
I didn't know he was the one,

01:15:34.720 --> 01:15:36.720
but when God sent me to baptize with water,

01:15:36.720 --> 01:15:38.720
he told me, the one on whom you see the Spirit

01:15:38.720 --> 01:15:41.720
descend and rest is the one who will baptize

01:15:41.720 --> 01:15:42.720
with the Holy Spirit.

01:15:42.720 --> 01:15:44.720
I saw this happen to Jesus,

01:15:44.720 --> 01:15:47.720
so I testify that he is the chosen one of God.

01:15:47.720 --> 01:15:49.720
That's what we expect to happen today too, yeah?

01:15:49.720 --> 01:15:52.720
That the Holy Spirit will descend upon Lenny

01:15:52.720 --> 01:15:54.720
in her obedience and in her emptying herself.

01:15:54.720 --> 01:15:57.720
That she'll be infused with strength from heaven.

01:15:57.720 --> 01:15:59.720
I will be able to walk like she hasn't walked before

01:15:59.720 --> 01:16:01.720
and she has desire to walk, yeah?

01:16:01.720 --> 01:16:03.720
Okay.

01:16:03.720 --> 01:16:05.720
Go ahead, Mei.

01:16:05.720 --> 01:16:09.720
So Lenny, do you believe that Jesus is the Son of God?

01:16:09.720 --> 01:16:13.720
Yes, yes I believe.

01:16:13.720 --> 01:16:17.720
Do you believe that Jesus died and rose again?

01:16:17.720 --> 01:16:19.720
I do believe that.

01:16:19.720 --> 01:16:23.720
And do you believe that Jesus is your Lord and Savior?

01:16:23.720 --> 01:16:26.720
Yes, he is my Lord and Savior.

01:16:27.720 --> 01:16:30.720
So Lenny, just personally, the transformation

01:16:30.720 --> 01:16:32.720
I've seen in you in the last six months

01:16:32.720 --> 01:16:36.720
is none other than the Holy Spirit working in you.

01:16:36.720 --> 01:16:38.720
And I know now also by you taking this obedience,

01:16:38.720 --> 01:16:40.720
when you came and asked me to get baptized,

01:16:40.720 --> 01:16:42.720
I was first surprised, but also like,

01:16:42.720 --> 01:16:44.720
I knew this was the Spirit moving in you.

01:16:44.720 --> 01:16:46.720
And so as you take this step of obedience,

01:16:46.720 --> 01:16:50.720
I just, you are blessed with his Holy Spirit.

01:16:50.720 --> 01:16:52.720
There's no turning back, but much more to come

01:16:52.720 --> 01:16:54.720
in your intimacy with him.

01:16:54.720 --> 01:16:58.720
So in the name of the, you want to step forward a little bit?

01:17:03.720 --> 01:17:07.720
So in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,

01:17:07.720 --> 01:17:09.720
you are baptized.

01:17:21.720 --> 01:17:23.720
You okay?

01:17:25.720 --> 01:17:27.720
Let me pray for you.

01:17:28.720 --> 01:17:32.720
Next time we should have fire rescue here, just in case.

01:17:32.720 --> 01:17:36.720
So Father, we just thank you for, come, may we lay your hands on her.

01:17:36.720 --> 01:17:38.720
Father, we just thank you for Lenny,

01:17:38.720 --> 01:17:43.720
and we go back to John chapter one, verse 32.

01:17:45.720 --> 01:17:48.720
You changed her life.

01:17:48.720 --> 01:17:51.720
We heard the story.

01:17:51.720 --> 01:17:54.720
You do this again and again and again.

01:17:56.720 --> 01:17:59.720
We think back to who we were.

01:17:59.720 --> 01:18:01.720
Ah, you changed us.

01:18:02.720 --> 01:18:05.720
Many of us wouldn't be here, we'd be dead.

01:18:10.720 --> 01:18:13.720
Ransom from heaven, rescue of sinners,

01:18:13.720 --> 01:18:16.720
ransom from heaven, thank you for each life here,

01:18:16.720 --> 01:18:20.720
sitting here today, that you rescued, oh God.

01:18:21.720 --> 01:18:24.720
One had to die for one to give life.

01:18:24.720 --> 01:18:26.720
And then you did this for Lenny too.

01:18:26.720 --> 01:18:29.720
Today she's publicly declaring it, oh God.

01:18:30.720 --> 01:18:34.720
And just like it happened with Jesus, because she is in Christ,

01:18:34.720 --> 01:18:36.720
and Christ is in her.

01:18:36.720 --> 01:18:38.720
We as a church ask now,

01:18:38.720 --> 01:18:43.720
Holy Spirit, would you begin to fill this woman like it has never happened before?

01:18:43.720 --> 01:18:47.720
That Acts chapter two, that Acts chapter four begin to happen.

01:18:47.720 --> 01:18:50.720
So as I lay hands on her, I ask Holy Spirit,

01:18:50.720 --> 01:18:55.720
that just as she was immersed in water, could you immerse her in your life?

01:18:55.720 --> 01:19:02.720
I ask that you descend upon her like you have descended upon disciples, upon Jesus, upon people in the book of Acts,

01:19:02.720 --> 01:19:04.720
would you descend upon her right now?

01:19:04.720 --> 01:19:08.720
Would you descend upon her and give her gifts that you have, Holy Spirit?

01:19:08.720 --> 01:19:10.720
Some gifts that come to evidence, oh God.

01:19:10.720 --> 01:19:14.720
When people were baptized in Acts chapter two, in Acts chapter ten, in Acts chapter four,

01:19:14.720 --> 01:19:17.720
they began to shout praises and they began to speak in tongues,

01:19:17.720 --> 01:19:19.720
and they began to prophesy.

01:19:19.720 --> 01:19:21.720
Let those gifts be hers too, Lord.

01:19:21.720 --> 01:19:23.720
Those gifts be hers too.

01:19:23.720 --> 01:19:25.720
Holy Spirit, you haven't changed.

01:19:25.720 --> 01:19:29.720
We call this church Acts 29, a continuation of the Acts of the Spirit of God,

01:19:29.720 --> 01:19:32.720
as was in the New Testament, and it continues now.

01:19:32.720 --> 01:19:36.720
So Father, we ask at the beginning of the year, even with the first baptism in this year,

01:19:36.720 --> 01:19:38.720
and many more I trust will come this year,

01:19:38.720 --> 01:19:42.720
that would you cause your Holy Spirit to fall upon her father,

01:19:42.720 --> 01:19:46.720
changing her father, dedicated to you, a woman of God,

01:19:46.720 --> 01:19:49.720
walking the earth, Abba, in places she never dreamt?

01:19:52.720 --> 01:19:56.720
So we ask this, Father, we ask this for Lenny,

01:19:56.720 --> 01:19:58.720
for a filling to overflowing now,

01:19:58.720 --> 01:20:01.720
in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray.

01:20:01.720 --> 01:20:02.720
Amen.

01:20:02.720 --> 01:20:04.720
Bless you, Lenny.

01:20:12.720 --> 01:20:15.720
So, can we do that song and then after that,

01:20:15.720 --> 01:20:17.720
can you take my phone?

01:20:17.720 --> 01:20:20.720
After that we'll conclude the song.

01:20:20.720 --> 01:20:21.720
Thank you.

01:20:44.720 --> 01:20:47.720
It's the song of the redeemed

01:20:47.720 --> 01:20:50.720
Rising from the African plain

01:20:59.720 --> 01:21:02.720
It's the song of the redeemed

01:21:02.720 --> 01:21:05.720
Rising from the African plain

01:21:08.720 --> 01:21:12.720
It's the song of the redeemed

01:21:12.720 --> 01:21:15.720
The song of the redeemed

01:21:15.720 --> 01:21:40.700
Riding on the

01:21:42.720 --> 01:21:46.720
Glory, glory, hallelujah

01:21:46.720 --> 01:21:50.720
He reigns, he reigns

01:21:50.720 --> 01:21:52.720
It's all got children singing

01:21:52.720 --> 01:21:57.720
Glory, glory, hallelujah

01:21:57.720 --> 01:21:59.720
He reigns

01:22:02.720 --> 01:22:05.720
Let it rise above the four winds

01:22:05.720 --> 01:22:09.720
Caught up in the heavenly sound

01:22:12.720 --> 01:22:17.720
Let praises echo from the towers of cathedrals

01:22:17.720 --> 01:22:21.720
To the faithful gathered underground

01:22:24.720 --> 01:22:27.720
Of all the songs sung

01:22:27.720 --> 01:22:32.720
Songs were meant to persist

01:22:34.720 --> 01:22:38.720
Of all the bells run from the thousands steeples

01:22:38.720 --> 01:22:42.720
None rings truer than this

01:22:44.720 --> 01:22:46.720
It's all got children singing

01:22:46.720 --> 01:22:51.720
Glory, glory, hallelujah

01:22:51.720 --> 01:22:55.720
He reigns, he reigns

01:22:55.720 --> 01:22:57.720
It's all got children singing

01:22:57.720 --> 01:23:02.720
Glory, glory, hallelujah

01:23:02.720 --> 01:23:04.720
He reigns

01:23:04.720 --> 01:23:06.720
It's all got children

01:23:06.720 --> 01:23:08.720
It's all got children singing

01:23:08.720 --> 01:23:13.720
Glory, glory, hallelujah

01:23:13.720 --> 01:23:17.720
He reigns, he reigns

01:23:17.720 --> 01:23:19.720
It's all got children singing

01:23:19.720 --> 01:23:24.720
Glory, glory, hallelujah

01:23:24.720 --> 01:23:28.720
He reigns

01:23:28.720 --> 01:23:31.720
He reigns

01:23:31.720 --> 01:23:33.720
He reigns

01:23:36.720 --> 01:23:38.720
He reigns

01:23:51.720 --> 01:23:53.720
Alright, see you next week!

01:23:53.720 --> 01:23:55.720

01:23:59.720 --> 01:24:01.720
So there will be guys praying on our left and our right

01:24:01.720 --> 01:24:04.720
So if you need prayers, there will be people available

01:24:06.720 --> 01:24:07.720
