00:03:17.280 --> 00:03:24.040 So the yoke is always a coupling, as in it couples you with something. 00:03:24.040 --> 00:03:27.880 And the yoke holds you in. 00:03:27.880 --> 00:03:40.840 The yoke break yokes. 00:04:21.080 --> 00:04:26.720 When we talked, the first time we started down this road of revival, when we talked 00:04:26.720 --> 00:04:32.440 about Shekinah, the first time we talked about how one of the reasons God sends revival is 00:04:32.440 --> 00:04:38.840 to alter the course of that which would otherwise be destructive and that would bring disaster. 00:04:38.840 --> 00:04:44.280 He averts disaster by bringing in a revival. 00:04:44.280 --> 00:04:50.800 And so today we're going to talk about breaking the yoke because revivals break yokes. 00:04:50.800 --> 00:04:54.720 And a yoke is that which couples you. 00:04:54.720 --> 00:05:03.920 It's a coupling that holds in that exact servitude that ensnares, that forces into step, into 00:05:03.920 --> 00:05:08.000 slavery and bondage. 00:05:08.200 --> 00:05:15.720 When revivals break yokes and in global revivals, many patterns are set at the point of origin. 00:05:15.720 --> 00:05:27.800 So if this is Vancouver and what we are saying is a global revival, what happens here sets 00:05:27.800 --> 00:05:34.800 the pattern for what happens later. 00:05:38.800 --> 00:05:45.200 These are perhaps statements I would not have made two weeks ago, but the more we are going 00:05:45.200 --> 00:05:49.480 down this road, the more I'm walking down this road, I'm gaining greater confidence 00:05:49.480 --> 00:05:56.600 to say that what is happening is global and that this global revival, especially among 00:05:56.600 --> 00:06:05.520 the 13 to 30s, late 30s, especially among young men, young women, that this global revival 00:06:05.640 --> 00:06:13.240 is actually beginning in Vancouver, in Acts 29. 00:06:13.240 --> 00:06:15.240 That's what I'm saying. 00:06:15.240 --> 00:06:23.000 That's a huge thing to say because you're either really foolish, crazy, presumptuous 00:06:23.000 --> 00:06:26.040 or correct. 00:06:26.560 --> 00:06:39.000 I want to say that very clearly so that you can either think about it, consider it, dismiss 00:06:39.000 --> 00:06:41.040 it or embrace it. 00:06:41.040 --> 00:06:45.240 That's the reason I'm putting it so plainly. 00:06:45.240 --> 00:06:50.320 And all four reactions are absolutely legitimate because I would think so if I was sitting 00:06:50.320 --> 00:06:52.400 there and someone was saying this too. 00:06:52.400 --> 00:06:59.400 You can think about it, as in consider it, dismiss it or embrace it. 00:07:01.400 --> 00:07:08.840 What happens here, how we go about it here, in all global revivals, many patterns are 00:07:08.840 --> 00:07:13.200 god thing. 00:08:27.480 --> 00:08:32.920 Revivals break yokes and in global revivals many patterns that are set at the point of 00:08:33.000 --> 00:08:41.720 origin then become that which gains momentum and begins to just leaven the dough, just 00:08:41.720 --> 00:08:49.240 like a tiny bit of yeast that is potent begins to leaven the entire batch. 00:08:49.240 --> 00:08:53.160 So when you look at Elisha, one of the first things that Elisha did after a new mantle 00:08:53.160 --> 00:08:57.920 was given to him was there was an immediacy in the very city that he was in. 00:08:57.920 --> 00:09:00.280 That's where things started. 00:09:00.280 --> 00:09:03.360 So we can't expect this to start somewhere else. 00:09:03.360 --> 00:09:06.080 We can't expect to break a yoke somewhere else. 00:09:06.080 --> 00:09:09.380 We can't expect dancing to happen somewhere else. 00:09:09.380 --> 00:09:16.020 We can't expect a party to happen somewhere else if we don't first begin to practice 00:09:16.020 --> 00:09:18.840 it in the lab that we have. 00:09:18.840 --> 00:09:26.640 You can only export that which you actually create in your own lab. 00:09:26.720 --> 00:09:33.720 So when you look at 2 Kings 2.16, you find that as soon as Elisha received a new mantle, 00:09:34.360 --> 00:09:41.000 the first city that was affected was Jericho, the city that he had just crossed back into 00:09:41.000 --> 00:09:48.000 with the mantle that Elijah had handed him and with this double portion that he had inherited. 00:09:49.060 --> 00:09:56.060 So in 2 Kings 2.16, you see starting at verse 15, this is the first city that Elisha received 00:09:56.640 --> 00:10:00.200 The company of the prophets from Jericho who were watching said, 00:10:00.200 --> 00:10:03.140 The spirit of Elijah is resting on Elisha. 00:10:03.140 --> 00:10:05.760 And they went to meet him and bowed to the ground before him. 00:10:05.760 --> 00:10:08.960 Look they said, we your servants have fifty able men. 00:10:08.960 --> 00:10:10.560 Let them go and look for your master. 00:10:10.560 --> 00:10:13.080 Perhaps the spirit of the Lord has picked him up. 00:10:13.080 --> 00:10:15.320 And so he's in Jericho and then verse 19, 00:10:15.320 --> 00:10:17.600 The men of the city said to Elisha, 00:10:17.600 --> 00:10:20.360 Look our Lord, this town is well situated as you can see, 00:10:20.360 --> 00:10:22.960 but the water is bad and the land is unproductive. 00:10:22.960 --> 00:10:25.200 Bring me a new bowl, he said, and put salt in it. 00:10:25.200 --> 00:10:26.200 So they brought it to him. 00:10:26.240 --> 00:10:28.520 And he went out to the spring, throwing the salt, saying, 00:10:28.520 --> 00:10:30.720 This is what the Lord says, I have healed this water. 00:10:30.720 --> 00:10:34.000 Never again will it cause death or make the land unproductive. 00:10:34.000 --> 00:10:36.200 And the water has remained wholesome to this day, 00:10:36.200 --> 00:10:38.600 according to the word Elisha had spoken. 00:10:38.600 --> 00:10:42.360 So the breaking of the yoke first happens in the very city that you are in. 00:10:42.360 --> 00:10:43.360 Let's look at Jesus. 00:10:43.360 --> 00:10:49.200 If you go to Luke chapter 4, Luke 4, verse 14, 00:10:49.200 --> 00:10:55.120 You find that as soon as Jesus receives a mantle that's going to shake the earth after the temptation, 00:10:55.120 --> 00:10:58.800 it goes back to the very city that he grew up in. 00:10:58.800 --> 00:11:01.120 Luke chapter 4, verse 14. 00:11:02.320 --> 00:11:03.840 I love the challenge of it. 00:11:03.840 --> 00:11:11.040 It is always easy to do something where you aren't actually an inhabitant. 00:11:11.040 --> 00:11:14.440 It is always more difficult in the city that you belong to. 00:11:16.160 --> 00:11:18.600 Because you've got to break past the familiarity. 00:11:18.600 --> 00:11:20.720 You've got to break past what you know. 00:11:20.720 --> 00:11:25.720 You've got to break past the hopelessness that has begun to seep into your own bones. 00:11:28.920 --> 00:11:33.000 You've been going past the valley of bones every day for the last 27 years, 00:11:33.000 --> 00:11:35.320 and you've seen the bones lying there. 00:11:35.320 --> 00:11:38.040 It's easy to revive bones in Siberia. 00:11:38.040 --> 00:11:39.840 It's very hard to revive it here. 00:11:43.120 --> 00:11:44.720 Luke chapter 4, verse 14. 00:11:44.720 --> 00:11:52.720 Jesus, Luke chapter 4, verse 14. 00:11:52.720 --> 00:11:54.120 Let's start at verse 12. 00:11:54.120 --> 00:11:55.120 Jesus answered, it says, 00:11:55.120 --> 00:11:57.520 Do not put the Lord your God to the test. 00:11:57.520 --> 00:12:02.120 When the devil had finished his tempting, he left him until an opportune time. 00:12:02.120 --> 00:12:05.720 Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, 00:12:05.720 --> 00:12:09.240 and news about him spread in the whole country. 00:12:09.240 --> 00:12:12.520 He taught in their synagogues, and everyone praised him. 00:12:12.520 --> 00:12:16.320 And then he goes and opens the scroll and begins to read from it. 00:12:16.320 --> 00:12:21.120 And the scroll is basically a breaking of bondage, a breaking of the yoke, 00:12:21.120 --> 00:12:23.520 and a release of Jubilee, where he says, 00:12:23.520 --> 00:12:27.320 The Spirit of the Lord is on me because he has anointed me to read good news to the poor, 00:12:27.320 --> 00:12:30.720 to proclaim freedom to the prisoners, recovery of sight for the blind, 00:12:30.720 --> 00:12:34.120 releasing the oppressed, and proclaiming the year of the Lord's favor. 00:12:34.120 --> 00:12:35.720 Let's look at another person. 00:12:35.720 --> 00:12:39.320 Let's go to Acts chapter 9, verse 20, and look at Paul. 00:12:39.320 --> 00:12:40.920 Why am I showing you this? 00:12:40.920 --> 00:12:47.120 Just so we establish the premise that whenever something global is about to happen, 00:12:47.120 --> 00:12:52.120 what happens at the point of origin sets the pattern that then gathers momentum 00:12:52.120 --> 00:12:58.120 or begins to leaven the entire batter-dough, but it has to begin at the point of origin. 00:12:58.120 --> 00:13:00.720 And we are talking about this being the point of origin. 00:13:02.920 --> 00:13:06.120 Acts chapter 9, verse 20. 00:13:10.920 --> 00:13:20.120 Let's start at verse 17. 00:13:20.120 --> 00:13:24.720 Then Ananias went to the house and entered it, placed his hand on Saul, 00:13:24.720 --> 00:13:29.520 and he said, Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here, 00:13:29.520 --> 00:13:32.920 has sent me that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit. 00:13:32.920 --> 00:13:37.320 Immediately something like scales fell from Saul's eyes and he could see again. 00:13:37.320 --> 00:13:40.720 He got up and was baptized, and after taking some food, he regained his strength. 00:13:40.720 --> 00:13:43.720 Saul spent several days with the disciples in Damascus. 00:13:43.720 --> 00:13:47.720 At once he began to preach in the synagogues that Jesus is the Son of God. 00:13:47.720 --> 00:13:50.120 All those who heard him were astonished and asked, 00:13:50.120 --> 00:13:54.520 Isn't he the man who raised havoc in Jerusalem among those who called on his name? 00:13:54.520 --> 00:13:57.920 And hasn't he come here to take prisoners to the chief priests? 00:13:57.920 --> 00:14:02.320 Yet Saul grew more and more powerful and baffled the Jews living in Damascus 00:14:02.320 --> 00:14:04.320 by proving that Jesus is the Christ. 00:14:04.320 --> 00:14:06.720 Paul didn't go to Ephesus first. He didn't go to Rome first. 00:14:06.720 --> 00:14:08.920 He started where he was in Damascus. 00:14:09.920 --> 00:14:12.920 That is the intent here, that we start here. 00:14:14.920 --> 00:14:18.920 And when we start here, here's what happens. 00:14:18.920 --> 00:14:23.920 Or as we begin to realize that the yoke has to be broken here first. 00:14:33.920 --> 00:14:36.920 Today, we'll begin to fracture. 00:14:37.920 --> 00:14:39.920 We'll begin to shake. 00:14:40.920 --> 00:14:42.920 We'll begin to disintegrate 00:14:45.920 --> 00:14:47.920 the foundations 00:14:50.920 --> 00:14:51.920 of 00:14:52.920 --> 00:14:55.920 the foundations of everything 00:14:58.920 --> 00:15:03.920 in the first and second heavens 00:15:06.920 --> 00:15:10.920 and we will release 00:15:11.920 --> 00:15:13.920 the desire 00:15:14.920 --> 00:15:16.920 and the delight 00:15:19.920 --> 00:15:22.920 of the third heaven. 00:15:22.920 --> 00:15:25.920 I'm just using this as a means of 00:15:27.920 --> 00:15:30.920 speaking the truth. So don't get too hung up with first and second heavens. 00:15:30.920 --> 00:15:33.920 The first heavens is basically the earth that we live in. 00:15:33.920 --> 00:15:38.920 The second heavens is where the spirit forces occupy 00:15:38.920 --> 00:15:42.920 and the third heavens is the realm of God. 00:15:42.920 --> 00:15:47.920 So all I'm saying is that today we begin to fracture. 00:15:47.920 --> 00:15:48.920 We begin to shake. 00:15:48.920 --> 00:15:54.920 We begin to disintegrate the foundations of everything from the first and second heavens. 00:15:54.920 --> 00:15:56.920 Be it spiritual powers, be it systems of the earth. 00:15:56.920 --> 00:15:59.920 We begin to shake it. We begin to fracture it. 00:15:59.920 --> 00:16:01.920 We begin to disintegrate it today. 00:16:01.920 --> 00:16:03.920 Not tomorrow, today. 00:16:05.920 --> 00:16:10.920 Guys, the great thing about this is that it is the work of the Holy Spirit. 00:16:13.920 --> 00:16:17.920 We can opt out of it. 00:16:17.920 --> 00:16:20.920 We can hinder it, but we cannot prevent it. 00:16:21.920 --> 00:16:25.920 Opting out is a safer avenue. 00:16:25.920 --> 00:16:27.920 Hindering it is really foolish. 00:16:27.920 --> 00:16:31.920 Preventing it is not possible because God wants to save things in the future. 00:16:34.920 --> 00:16:39.920 So today we start fracturing, shaking, and disintegrating the foundations 00:16:39.920 --> 00:16:44.920 of everything that the first and second heavens have established. 00:16:44.920 --> 00:16:48.920 Why? Because once you break the yoke, what did we say the yoke was? 00:16:48.920 --> 00:16:52.920 The yoke is that which couples, that ensnares, that holds in, 00:16:52.920 --> 00:16:58.920 that restrains, that forces into step, that brings into bondage, that brings into slavery. 00:16:58.920 --> 00:17:02.920 Thousands upon thousands upon thousands of young men and women 00:17:02.920 --> 00:17:06.920 who we saw in that song as we sang it saying, 00:17:06.920 --> 00:17:08.920 Come, come. And they're being caught. 00:17:08.920 --> 00:17:10.920 They're being held back. So here's how. 00:26:54.920 --> 00:26:58.920 We're going to go read Acts 16 first. 00:26:58.920 --> 00:27:02.920 Acts 16. 00:27:02.920 --> 00:27:07.920 After we read Acts 16, I'm going to ask the music team to come back up. 00:27:07.920 --> 00:27:12.920 Acts 16, verse 25 to 33. 00:27:12.920 --> 00:27:15.920 And as we read this, I want you to understand what's going to happen. 00:27:15.920 --> 00:27:18.920 Acts 16, verse 25 to 33. 00:27:18.920 --> 00:27:23.920 Acts 16, 25 to 33. 00:27:23.920 --> 00:27:29.920 We're talking about things being shaken, fractured, disintegrated, broken today in this city 00:27:29.920 --> 00:27:32.920 as we indulge in something that happened in the Book of Acts. 00:27:32.920 --> 00:27:36.920 And as we do that, things will begin to shake and things will begin to change. 00:27:36.920 --> 00:27:43.920 About midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God. 00:27:43.920 --> 00:27:47.920 And the other prisoners were listening to them. 00:27:47.920 --> 00:27:50.920 Suddenly there was a violent earthquake. 00:27:50.920 --> 00:27:54.920 The foundations of the prison were shaken. 00:27:54.920 --> 00:27:59.920 You must understand, Paul and Silas were sent in there to break out. 00:27:59.920 --> 00:28:01.920 They weren't sent in there to keep them there. 00:28:01.920 --> 00:28:05.920 They were sent in there to break everybody out. 00:28:05.920 --> 00:28:08.920 About midnight, starting again, verse 25, 00:28:08.920 --> 00:28:12.920 about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God. 00:28:12.920 --> 00:28:15.920 And other prisoners were listening to them. 00:28:15.920 --> 00:28:18.920 Suddenly there was a violent earthquake. 00:28:18.920 --> 00:28:21.920 Then the foundations of the prison were shaken. 00:28:21.920 --> 00:28:27.920 At once all the prison doors flew open and everybody's chains came loose. 00:28:27.920 --> 00:28:30.920 The jailer woke up and when he saw the prison doors open, 00:28:30.920 --> 00:28:34.920 he drew his sword and was about to kill himself 00:28:34.920 --> 00:28:36.920 because he thought the prisoners had escaped. 00:28:36.920 --> 00:28:40.920 But Paul shouted, don't harm yourself, we're all here. 00:28:40.920 --> 00:28:44.920 The jailer called for lights, rushed in and felt trembling before Paul and Silas. 00:28:44.920 --> 00:28:48.920 He then brought them out and asked, sirs, what must I do to be saved? 00:28:48.920 --> 00:28:52.920 They replied, believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and your household. 00:28:52.920 --> 00:28:56.920 Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all others in his house. 00:28:56.920 --> 00:28:59.920 At that hour of the night the jailer took them, washed their wounds. 00:28:59.920 --> 00:29:01.920 Immediately he and his family were baptized. 00:29:01.920 --> 00:29:04.920 The jailer brought them into his house and set a meal before them. 00:29:04.920 --> 00:29:09.920 He was filled with joy because he had come to believe in God, he and his whole family. 00:29:09.920 --> 00:29:11.920 So that's what we're going to do now. 00:29:11.920 --> 00:29:15.920 I want you to trust that as we sing the song History Maker, 00:29:15.920 --> 00:29:21.920 is it true today that when people pray, kings and queens will shake, 00:29:21.920 --> 00:29:26.920 cloudless skies will break. 00:29:26.920 --> 00:29:30.920 I want you in your homes, as many as that are watching, 00:29:30.920 --> 00:29:34.920 not to sing this as a song of praise or worship, 00:29:34.920 --> 00:29:39.920 but to sing it the same way Paul and Silas sang it that night. 00:29:39.920 --> 00:29:46.920 Now as you begin to sing, God will fracture, God will shake, God will disintegrate. 00:29:46.920 --> 00:29:50.920 God will uproot from its very foundations the prison doors, 00:29:50.920 --> 00:29:54.920 the prison walls that have shut down people in this land. 00:29:54.920 --> 00:30:01.920 He will break it, fracture it so that it will never be steady again, never be steady again. 00:30:01.920 --> 00:30:07.920 That if a fox walked over those walls, those walls would collapse. 00:30:07.920 --> 00:30:10.920 And as we begin to sing this, the same thing will happen. 00:30:10.920 --> 00:30:16.920 That there will be a violent earthquake, that the foundations of every prison in the city will be shaken. 00:30:16.920 --> 00:30:25.920 That doors will fly open, that everybody's chains will come loose. 00:30:25.920 --> 00:30:31.920 And so the prisoners escaping, they will turn and come to the one who opened these doors. 00:30:31.920 --> 00:30:38.920 That the question that will be heard by heaven, by angels, by us, by other churches will be, 00:30:38.920 --> 00:30:42.920 Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 00:46:51.920 --> 00:46:52.920 what is evil becomes good, 00:46:52.920 --> 00:46:53.920 what is male becomes female, 00:46:53.920 --> 00:46:55.920 what is female becomes male. 00:46:55.920 --> 00:46:57.920 There's this fluidity, 00:46:57.920 --> 00:46:59.920 there's this freedom and fluidity, 00:46:59.920 --> 00:47:01.920 there's this odd kind of evil freedom, 00:47:01.920 --> 00:47:03.920 it's not real freedom, 00:47:03.920 --> 00:47:04.920 and fluidity that exists in the city 00:47:04.920 --> 00:47:06.920 that begins to dull its people. 00:47:06.920 --> 00:47:10.920 It's just the Genesis 6 kind of blurring of lines 00:47:10.920 --> 00:47:16.920 and the audacity to step out of your domain 00:47:16.920 --> 00:47:18.920 and go into domains that you're not allowed to go into. 00:47:18.920 --> 00:47:21.920 That's one of the things that this city has. 00:47:21.920 --> 00:47:29.920 The other thing is the dullness that comes because of... 00:47:29.920 --> 00:47:31.920 You'll have to read between the lines 00:47:31.920 --> 00:47:34.920 when I talk about this. 00:47:34.920 --> 00:47:43.920 The dullness that comes from meditative false religions. 00:47:46.920 --> 00:47:49.920 Meditative false religions. 00:47:51.920 --> 00:47:57.920 Revelations 9, 20, and 21 talks about how in the last days 00:47:57.920 --> 00:48:02.920 there'll be sorceries, idolatry, false religions, 00:48:02.920 --> 00:48:05.920 blasphemy spoken against the true God. 00:48:05.920 --> 00:48:07.920 That'll be common and people, 00:48:07.920 --> 00:48:11.920 instead of turning to God, will begin to defy God. 00:48:11.920 --> 00:48:16.920 In Acts 19, verse 35, again going back to Ephesus 00:48:16.920 --> 00:48:20.920 and Artemis of Ephesus, it was the same attitude. 00:48:20.920 --> 00:48:26.920 And this city is dulled by meditative false religions. 00:48:26.920 --> 00:48:29.920 And then the third thing is dullness 00:48:29.920 --> 00:48:35.920 that has been brought on by an acceptance 00:48:35.920 --> 00:48:38.920 of present conditions. 00:48:38.920 --> 00:48:40.920 Of present conditions. 00:48:40.920 --> 00:48:43.920 No one takes a stance in this city. 00:48:43.920 --> 00:48:47.920 Stances are taken for all things that oppose God, 00:48:47.920 --> 00:48:56.920 but stances for things that are necessarily virtuous, 00:48:56.920 --> 00:48:58.920 you won't see that. 00:48:58.920 --> 00:49:05.920 Dullness or a silent acceptance of present conditions. 00:49:05.920 --> 00:49:11.920 John chapter 5, verse 5, kind of captures what I'm trying to say. 00:49:11.920 --> 00:49:15.920 Where a man has been at a pool for almost 30 years 00:49:15.920 --> 00:49:18.920 out of the 38 years that he's been paralyzed. 00:49:18.920 --> 00:49:20.920 When someone comes along and asks him, 00:49:20.920 --> 00:49:23.920 and this someone happens to be Jesus, asks him, 00:49:23.920 --> 00:49:24.920 do you want to be healed? 00:49:24.920 --> 00:49:26.920 His answer is not that he wants to be healed. 00:49:26.920 --> 00:49:29.920 That I've been laying here for years, 00:49:29.920 --> 00:49:32.920 and that occasionally someone comes and stirs up the water. 00:49:32.920 --> 00:49:34.920 I would suggest to you it was a legend, 00:49:34.920 --> 00:49:37.920 it wasn't true that God would send angels to stir up the water. 00:49:37.920 --> 00:49:40.920 And that I never get there, so I've been lying here forever. 00:49:40.920 --> 00:49:41.920 That was his response. 00:49:41.920 --> 00:49:44.920 It is an acceptance of present condition. 00:49:44.920 --> 00:49:47.920 These are three things that dulls this city. 00:49:47.920 --> 00:49:51.920 When we begin to pray for this, and we will be, 00:49:51.920 --> 00:49:54.920 and it might be midweek, this week. 00:49:54.920 --> 00:53:01.920 --> 00:53:03.920 The first one is in Isaiah 10.27. 00:53:04.920 --> 00:53:08.920 The yoke is broken from your neck when the neck grows fat. 00:53:08.920 --> 00:53:10.920 How does the neck grow fat? 00:53:10.920 --> 00:53:19.920 The neck grows fat when it is greased or fed well. 00:53:20.920 --> 00:53:22.920 What is another word for greased or fed well? 00:53:24.920 --> 00:53:26.920 The word is anointing. 00:53:26.920 --> 00:53:27.920 What is anointing? 00:53:28.920 --> 00:53:43.920 The presence of the Spirit on you to achieve a specific purpose. 00:53:47.920 --> 00:53:49.920 So, that's the first way the yoke is broken. 00:53:49.920 --> 00:53:54.920 And in this we have an advantage because our necks are being fattened by God. 00:53:54.920 --> 00:53:57.920 Fourteen years he's been fattening our necks. 00:53:59.920 --> 00:54:04.920 Some of us have gotten fat in other parts too, but most of us have fat necks. 00:54:04.920 --> 00:54:09.920 So, that's the first thing, that your necks are fattened. 00:54:09.920 --> 00:54:15.920 And the anointing of God for a specific purpose, and in this case, initiating a global revival. 00:54:15.920 --> 00:54:18.920 Every time I say that, I think to myself, shut up. 00:54:18.920 --> 00:54:20.920 And then I think to myself, save. 00:54:21.920 --> 00:54:25.920 So, this is the first part. 00:54:31.920 --> 00:54:35.920 And we won't be able to do this alone, so we'll have to cause this to spread. 00:54:35.920 --> 00:54:40.920 Just like God said, hey Moses, take what is on you and give it to the seventy. 00:54:40.920 --> 00:54:42.920 So, we have to do it too. 00:54:42.920 --> 00:54:47.920 Or like Saul, when he met the prophets that were coming down, he started prophesying too. 00:54:47.920 --> 00:54:49.920 That must happen. 00:54:49.920 --> 00:54:54.920 And so, one of the changes that you should look forward to in the next five to seven days is, 00:54:54.920 --> 00:54:59.920 we might actually have a Saturday evening live stream too, 00:54:59.920 --> 00:55:03.920 so that other people in this city and other people across the earth can tune in. 00:55:05.920 --> 00:55:09.920 And with regard to Sundays, we'll see how it goes. 00:55:09.920 --> 00:55:18.920 We'll see whether we need to do a 1.45 and 6 p.m. or a 11 and 6 p.m. or a Saturday 7 and morning 11, we don't know. 00:55:18.920 --> 00:55:21.920 So, don't start praying for it right now. 00:55:21.920 --> 00:55:23.920 We've got other things to pray about. 00:55:23.920 --> 00:55:33.920 But at present, what we'd like to initiate is a 7 p.m. Saturday or 7.30 p.m. Saturday service that allows others to partake. 00:55:34.920 --> 00:55:36.920 Others need to catch this, eh? That's a great thing. 00:56:47.920 --> 00:56:51.920 I'd love for you to clean up my lawn and get me Starbucks coffee. 00:56:51.920 --> 00:57:03.920 But this goes beyond that, where you're talking about real ways to undo heavy burdens, help the oppressed lose bands of wickedness. 00:57:03.920 --> 00:57:14.920 Where there's an active stance that is taken by a people who begin to buck against the silent acceptance of conditions as they are. 00:57:15.920 --> 00:57:21.920 And I'll be going through each of these in the weeks ahead so that we actually do something about it. 00:57:21.920 --> 00:57:24.920 These are scriptural patterns of breaking the yoke. 00:57:24.920 --> 00:57:28.920 God has fractured, disintegrated, dismantled, shaken. 00:57:28.920 --> 00:57:38.920 Kings and queens, spirit powers, foundations in the city, so that people are suddenly feeling the change but not seeing the change. 00:57:38.920 --> 00:57:43.920 I have the faith to carry that for the city right now. 00:57:43.920 --> 00:57:47.920 And I'm sure there are many of you that have the faith to do it too. 00:57:47.920 --> 00:57:50.920 So if you don't have the faith for it right now, that's okay. 00:57:50.920 --> 00:57:53.920 Tomorrow we can be in a better place. 00:57:53.920 --> 00:57:57.920 But do not park this as an okay teaching. 00:57:57.920 --> 00:58:02.920 Isaiah 58-6 is a thing that we'll have to engage in if you want to see a city break out. 00:58:02.920 --> 00:58:04.920 Have to. 00:58:04.920 --> 00:58:06.920 These are scriptural patterns, eh? 00:58:06.920 --> 00:58:08.920 And to talk about it and not do anything? 00:58:08.920 --> 00:58:10.920 Oh my God, then you're more guilty. 00:58:10.920 --> 00:58:13.920 Not you, me. 00:58:17.920 --> 00:58:22.920 Third, the people who are not doing anything, 00:58:22.920 --> 00:58:28.920 Third, and don't worry, there's just three. 00:58:28.920 --> 00:58:36.920 Third, Isaiah 9-4, famous Christmas scripture. 00:58:36.920 --> 00:58:46.920 For the yoke of his burden and the staff for his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, you have broken as on the day of Midian. 00:58:46.920 --> 00:58:50.920 This is that scripture where it says unto us a child is born unto us a son is given. 00:58:50.920 --> 00:58:54.920 It starts with this idea of there's dense darkness in Naphtali and Asher. 00:58:54.920 --> 00:58:58.920 But don't worry, someone is on his way and he's going to change everything. 00:58:58.920 --> 00:59:06.920 And when he comes, the yoke of the burden, the staff that was used to break your shoulder, 00:59:06.920 --> 00:59:12.920 the rod of the oppressor that came across your back will be broken just as in the day of Midian. 00:59:12.920 --> 00:59:14.920 What do you mean the day of Midian? 00:59:14.920 --> 00:59:25.920 The day of Midian was the day when Gideon defeated the Midianites and broke their oppression over Israel. 00:59:25.920 --> 00:59:33.920 Every time Israel would begin to cultivate or grow crops, the Midianites would come ravage the place. 00:59:33.920 --> 00:59:40.920 It would be so hopeless because you just begin to see the first bud, you begin to see the first sheafs of corn. 00:59:40.920 --> 00:59:44.920 You're thinking that perhaps the raiders won't come this time around. 00:59:44.920 --> 00:59:49.920 And just when they would be ready to cut the grain, the Midianites would come 00:59:49.920 --> 00:59:56.920 and they would go through the land like locusts leaving nothing and forget starving people who would break their hope. 00:59:56.920 --> 01:00:03.920 And then along comes Gideon with a hundred men and he breaks the back of the Midianites. 01:00:03.920 --> 01:00:08.920 He takes their staff and their rods and he breaks them, puts them aside and says, 01:00:08.920 --> 01:00:16.920 Israel, you're free, takes the yoke off their backs. 01:00:16.920 --> 01:00:24.920 This is what we've been given the privilege of partnering and participating in. 01:00:24.920 --> 01:00:30.920 Rights to it. This is the only reason why you're alive right now and that you should be living right now. 01:00:30.920 --> 01:00:36.920 Everything else, your work, your money, your family is secondary. 01:00:36.920 --> 01:00:41.920 Ah, Jacob, it's easy for you to say because you don't work and you get paid and you don't have a family. 01:00:41.920 --> 01:00:45.920 True. Now you know how big it is. 01:01:32.920 --> 01:01:37.920 So I put this map up on the wall. 01:01:37.920 --> 01:01:42.920 And then suddenly this idea of a global revival felt totally impossible. 01:01:42.920 --> 01:01:45.920 Because somehow when you don't have a map, you think it's possible. 01:01:45.920 --> 01:01:49.920 When you look at the number of nations, you think to yourself, 01:01:49.920 --> 01:01:53.920 what in the world got into you to make statements like this? 01:01:53.920 --> 01:01:58.920 There's so many blooming provinces, leave alone countries. 01:01:59.920 --> 01:02:04.920 And then you realize, oh my God, either you're going to lose your reputation fully, 01:02:04.920 --> 01:02:07.920 or this is something that God is doing and you can jump into. 01:02:07.920 --> 01:02:08.920 So that's the first thing. 01:02:08.920 --> 01:02:17.920 The second thing is, what if only 20 of us stood up and drank water? 01:02:17.920 --> 01:02:25.920 What if only 20 of us knelt down and lapped up water like dogs? 01:02:25.920 --> 01:02:28.920 Well then, 20 it is. 01:02:28.920 --> 01:02:32.920 Because anyways, even with 100, you couldn't do anything once you looked at that map. 01:02:32.920 --> 01:02:38.920 That map makes me feel so small. 01:02:38.920 --> 01:02:41.920 Some trust in chariots, some trust in princes. 01:02:41.920 --> 01:02:44.920 We trust in the name of the Lord our God. 01:02:44.920 --> 01:02:49.920 This is His move, man. 01:02:49.920 --> 01:02:53.920 So these guys hold a pitcher in one hand. 01:02:53.920 --> 01:02:56.920 And inside the pitcher is a flaming torch. 01:02:56.920 --> 01:02:59.920 And in the other hand, they hold a trumpet. 01:02:59.920 --> 01:03:02.920 With the trumpet, they begin to blow. 01:03:02.920 --> 01:03:08.920 And with the pitcher, they break the pitcher and suddenly the light is revealed. 01:03:08.920 --> 01:03:10.920 And that's how they overcome an entire army. 01:03:10.920 --> 01:03:16.920 They throw an entire army into confusion, coming down the hills, eh? 01:03:16.920 --> 01:03:18.920 You think God didn't have anything to do with it. 01:03:18.920 --> 01:03:23.920 You think 200,000 strong, seasoned battle-seasoned soldiers 01:03:23.920 --> 01:03:26.920 see some lights coming down the mountains and hear some trumpets and they go, 01:03:26.920 --> 01:03:28.920 Oh, let's kill each other. 01:03:28.920 --> 01:03:31.920 Really?
