Okay. 00:00:04.000 --> 00:00:09.000 Guys, Jesus' death was not proof enough 00:00:09.000 --> 00:00:14.000 that the sins of the world were taken away by a sinless man. 00:00:14.000 --> 00:00:18.000 Jesus' death was not sufficient proof 00:00:18.000 --> 00:00:24.000 that the sins of the world had been taken away by a sinless man. 00:00:24.000 --> 00:00:28.000 Because Jason could have gone and died for you. 00:00:28.000 --> 00:00:33.000 And he could have come and told you that he died so that your sins be taken away. 00:00:33.000 --> 00:00:37.000 But that wasn't proof enough. I could have died for you. 00:00:37.000 --> 00:00:43.000 So Jesus' death was not proof enough that the sins of the world were taken away by a sinful man. 00:00:43.000 --> 00:00:49.000 Because here's the thing, if the sin bearer was sinless, then resurrection would have to prove it. 00:00:49.000 --> 00:00:56.000 If the sin bearer was sinless, then resurrection would have to prove it. 00:00:56.000 --> 00:00:59.000 Because only a sinless man could rise from the dead. 00:00:59.000 --> 00:01:03.000 After dying for the sins of the world, only a sinless man could rise from the dead. 00:01:03.000 --> 00:01:08.000 So the proof that Jesus' death actually took away the sins of the world 00:01:08.000 --> 00:01:12.000 had to be borne out by the sinless man rising from the dead. 00:01:12.000 --> 00:01:15.000 Because the wages of sin is death. 00:01:15.000 --> 00:01:19.000 And therefore if a man had not sinned, he could not be punished with death. 00:01:19.000 --> 00:01:21.000 And therefore he had to rise again. 00:01:21.000 --> 00:01:25.000 Jesus did not rise up again because he was God. 00:01:25.000 --> 00:01:32.000 He rose again because it was impossible for death to hold him because the wages of sin is death. 00:01:32.000 --> 00:01:36.000 Therefore in Acts chapter 2, verse 32 to 34 it says, 00:01:36.000 --> 00:01:38.000 it was impossible for death to hold him. 00:01:38.000 --> 00:01:40.000 Which is why we sang what we sang, eh? 00:01:40.000 --> 00:01:42.000 Because I'll rise again. 00:01:42.000 --> 00:01:44.000 There ain't no power on earth that can hold me down. 00:01:44.000 --> 00:01:47.000 Because I'll rise again because death can't hold me in the ground. Why? 00:01:47.000 --> 00:01:53.000 Because I can't be paid the wages of sin if I haven't sinned and Jesus did not sin. 00:01:54.000 --> 00:01:59.000 But resurrection was proof that Jesus' death was sufficient. 00:01:59.000 --> 00:02:05.000 That here was a sinless man who took on the infinite sin of the world in his finite body. 00:02:05.000 --> 00:02:08.000 And then instead of staying dead, rose again because he was sinless. 00:02:08.000 --> 00:02:11.000 So he could die for the sins of others. 00:02:11.000 --> 00:02:16.000 And ten seconds before he rose, don't worry I'm not coming up with something new. 00:02:16.000 --> 00:02:18.000 Ten seconds before he rose, 00:02:18.000 --> 00:02:23.000 he was just a cold dead body on a slab inside a tomb. 00:02:23.000 --> 00:02:31.000 Ten seconds before he rose, he was just a cold dead body on a slab inside a tomb. 00:02:31.000 --> 00:02:38.000 And then, praise God man, when you read it in Romans 8-11, we see the Trinity involved. 00:02:38.000 --> 00:02:45.000 You see the Father raising up the Son by the Spirit. 00:02:46.000 --> 00:02:52.000 So ten seconds before he rises from the dead, he's just a cold dead body lying on a slab in a tomb. 00:02:52.000 --> 00:03:00.000 And then ten seconds later, the Father by the power of his Spirit raises up his Son. 00:03:01.000 --> 00:03:05.000 And here's the thing guys, in the Old Testament, the standard of power, 00:03:05.000 --> 00:03:07.000 I mean if you went to anybody in the Old Testament and you asked them, 00:03:07.000 --> 00:03:11.000 Hey, what's the measure of God's power? 00:03:11.000 --> 00:03:21.000 And the response would be, the measure of God's power in the Old Testament was when God spoke and delivered his Son Israel 00:03:21.000 --> 00:03:27.000 out from the ravenous bondage of Egypt and brought him through the Red Sea into the Promised Land. 00:03:27.000 --> 00:03:30.000 That was the ultimate expression of power. 00:03:30.000 --> 00:03:38.000 Everywhere in the Old Testament you'll find the psalmist, you'll find Moses recounting the story of the Exodus of Israel God's Son. 00:03:38.000 --> 00:03:43.000 Israel God's Son, Exodus 4 verses 22 and 23, God says to Moses, 00:03:43.000 --> 00:03:49.000 Hey Moses, go and say to Pharaoh that Israel is my firstborn son. 00:03:49.000 --> 00:03:57.000 And go say to Pharaoh, let my son Israel go so that he can serve me. 00:03:57.000 --> 00:04:01.000 And so that was the standard of God's power in the Old Testament. 00:04:01.000 --> 00:04:09.000 Where God delivered his Son Israel out of the ravenous bondage of Egypt, 00:04:09.000 --> 00:04:14.000 which was just eating up Israelites and causing them to break their backs in servitude. 00:04:14.000 --> 00:04:25.000 But the standard of power in the New Testament is when God delivers his Son Jesus 00:04:25.000 --> 00:04:34.000 out from the ravenous bondage of death and raises him up and seats him beside him in heaven. 00:04:34.000 --> 00:04:36.000 That's the standard of power in the New Testament. 00:04:36.000 --> 00:04:44.000 Where now it was not the ravenous bondage of Egypt, it was the ravenous bondage of death that till that day had consumed everybody. 00:04:44.000 --> 00:04:50.000 Sure people came back to life when Jesus walked the earth, but anybody who came back to life would go back and die. 00:04:50.000 --> 00:04:54.000 Lazarus was raised to life, shortly after he'd have to die. 00:04:54.000 --> 00:04:56.000 There was nobody who didn't die. 00:04:56.000 --> 00:05:03.000 For the first time this hungry monster called death that kept eating people, kept eating people, kept eating people. 00:05:03.000 --> 00:05:10.000 Finally, God raises up his Son and sets him free from the ravenous bondage of death. 00:05:10.000 --> 00:05:13.000 And not just that, seats him in the heavenly places. 00:05:13.000 --> 00:05:18.000 This is why in Ephesians 1, 18, 19 and 20, you actually hear Paul saying, 00:05:18.000 --> 00:05:26.000 Guys, look at the incomparable power that God's mighty hand exerted in raising Christ. 00:05:26.000 --> 00:05:29.000 Rarely does Paul talk like that. 00:05:29.000 --> 00:05:33.000 But in Ephesians 1, 20, he actually talks like that. 00:05:33.000 --> 00:05:43.000 He says, look at the power that God used, the might of his strength, the mighty strength exerted by God in delivering his Son Jesus. 00:05:43.000 --> 00:05:48.000 Look at the incomparable power that God exerted raising him and seating him at the right hand of heaven. 00:05:48.000 --> 00:05:52.000 That's the standard of power in the New Testament. 00:05:52.000 --> 00:05:58.000 That's why in Colossians 1, 18, Jesus is called the firstborn from among the dead. 00:05:58.000 --> 00:06:02.000 He's called the firstborn from among the dead. 00:06:02.000 --> 00:06:09.000 As in, here was one who for the first time in the history of man, actually rose from the dead never to die again. 00:06:09.000 --> 00:06:10.000 Why? 00:06:10.000 --> 00:06:13.000 The Bible actually says so that he may have supremacy over everything else. 00:06:13.000 --> 00:06:15.000 Because that is the ultimate enemy. 00:06:15.000 --> 00:06:20.000 If you beat that, what's left, man? 00:06:20.000 --> 00:06:22.000 Then there's nothing left. 00:06:22.000 --> 00:06:24.000 You're the Stanley Cup champions then. 00:06:24.000 --> 00:06:27.000 It's like that. 00:06:27.000 --> 00:06:29.000 That's what's happening here. 00:06:29.000 --> 00:06:36.000 So we often focus on the cross and that's a great thing. 00:06:36.000 --> 00:06:43.000 But man, when you actually think of what happened on the third day, may I suggest that perhaps it's a greater miracle? 00:06:43.000 --> 00:06:45.000 Because think of this. 00:06:45.000 --> 00:06:49.000 Imagine I'm a stillborn and a stillborn is a baby that dies in the womb. 00:06:49.000 --> 00:07:04.000 Imagine I'm a stillborn called Jacob and I'm in the womb of a mother called wages of sin is equal to death. 00:07:04.000 --> 00:07:06.000 That's the name of my mother. 00:07:06.000 --> 00:07:08.000 That is my mother. 00:07:08.000 --> 00:07:10.000 And that is me. 00:07:10.000 --> 00:07:12.000 And I am stillborn. 00:07:12.000 --> 00:07:16.000 This is how it really is, guys. 00:07:16.000 --> 00:07:22.000 I'm a stillborn called Jacob, born in the womb of a mother named death. 00:07:22.000 --> 00:07:23.000 Why? 00:07:23.000 --> 00:07:25.000 Because death is the wages of sin. 00:07:25.000 --> 00:07:30.000 And the Bible actually says that it is the condition of every human being. 00:07:30.000 --> 00:07:34.000 We are born in sin and born under the penalty of death. 00:07:34.000 --> 00:07:37.000 There is nobody who isn't born under the penalty of death. 00:07:37.000 --> 00:07:42.000 Everybody is born under the penalty of death and is born in sin. 00:07:42.000 --> 00:07:46.000 So all of us actually, you can change this name to any name. 00:07:46.000 --> 00:07:51.000 All of us in a sense, if you want to paint a picture, are born in a mother called death. 00:07:51.000 --> 00:07:53.000 That's the name of your mom. 00:07:53.000 --> 00:07:59.000 And you're born as a stillborn because you're born under the penalty of death. 00:07:59.000 --> 00:08:02.000 That is your present condition before you become a believer. 00:08:02.000 --> 00:08:05.000 That's where you're at. 00:08:05.000 --> 00:08:21.000 And so, Jesus' death, really what Jesus' death does is it breaks open this womb and delivers the stillborn. 00:08:21.000 --> 00:08:22.000 That's what death does. 00:08:22.000 --> 00:08:23.000 Death doesn't bring life. 00:08:23.000 --> 00:08:27.000 Death causes what needs to cease to exist to cease to exist. 00:08:27.000 --> 00:08:29.000 Death does not bring life. 00:08:29.000 --> 00:08:32.000 Death causes that which needs to cease to exist. 00:08:32.000 --> 00:08:33.000 It stops existing. 00:08:33.000 --> 00:08:38.000 There was a womb that every human being is born into called death. 00:08:38.000 --> 00:08:44.000 When Christ died, he brought an end to this womb called death. 00:08:44.000 --> 00:08:46.000 And he delivers the stillborn. 00:08:46.000 --> 00:08:51.000 But the one that is delivered is still, stillborn. 00:08:51.000 --> 00:08:56.000 That's only part of the story. 00:08:56.000 --> 00:09:00.000 Because the next part of the story is what I think is perhaps a greater miracle. 00:09:00.000 --> 00:09:04.000 Because this stillborn is now raised from the dead. 00:09:04.000 --> 00:09:07.000 So imagine a mom, let me paint a gory picture. 00:09:07.000 --> 00:09:14.000 Imagine a mom who's pregnant, who was caught up in an accident and now dies. 00:09:14.000 --> 00:09:17.000 Inside her is a child that also dies. 00:09:17.000 --> 00:09:25.000 They rush them to the hospital and somehow the doctors break open the womb and deliver the stillborn. 00:09:25.000 --> 00:09:29.000 But the child is dead. 00:09:29.000 --> 00:09:34.000 Doesn't help much except that the child is no longer in the womb, it's outside the womb. 00:09:34.000 --> 00:09:36.000 Now comes a greater miracle. 00:09:36.000 --> 00:09:41.000 This stillborn that has been delivered from the womb of death. 00:09:41.000 --> 00:09:49.000 God now begins to raise up that stillborn back to life. 00:09:49.000 --> 00:09:53.000 That is the greater miracle than the death of Christ. 00:09:53.000 --> 00:10:06.000 Where he dies, but after death when the stillborn is released from the tomb or the womb of death, now the stillborn is given life. 00:10:06.000 --> 00:10:08.000 The stillborn is raised from the dead. 00:10:08.000 --> 00:10:15.000 Any questions before we go on? 00:10:15.000 --> 00:10:19.000 Are you going to explain that a little bit more? 00:10:19.000 --> 00:10:22.000 Perhaps. 00:10:22.000 --> 00:10:26.000 The stillborn is raised from the dead. 00:10:26.000 --> 00:10:33.000 Because if baptism was only I go into the water, I'm buried with Christ and then you stay there. 00:10:33.000 --> 00:10:39.000 We'd find very small churches because every time someone gets baptized they drown. 00:10:39.000 --> 00:10:46.000 But the intent is not that I was buried with Christ, but that after I have died I have been given life. 00:10:46.000 --> 00:10:50.000 Because everyone born is born under the sentence of death, guys. 00:10:50.000 --> 00:10:52.000 Because there's a debt owed, right? 00:10:52.000 --> 00:10:53.000 And what is the debt? 00:10:53.000 --> 00:10:58.000 The debt is death because there's a debt owed to the commitment of sin, which is death. 00:10:58.000 --> 00:11:00.000 Everyone is born that way. 00:11:00.000 --> 00:11:04.000 The miracle is that after we die in Christ we are raised back to life. 00:11:04.000 --> 00:11:06.000 And that's what happens with Jesus. 00:11:06.000 --> 00:11:16.000 Which is why God says with the mighty exertion of power, here lay a man completely dead on a cold slab in a tomb and God's power raises him up from the dead. 00:11:16.000 --> 00:11:18.000 The stillborn is raised from the dead. 00:11:18.000 --> 00:11:22.000 And given life by the spirit who raised Christ from the dead. 00:11:22.000 --> 00:11:29.000 So you go into the tomb and there is Christ lying and the spirit of God comes upon him and he comes back to life. 00:11:29.000 --> 00:11:31.000 What do you think happens when you get born again? 00:11:31.000 --> 00:11:32.000 Same thing. 00:11:32.000 --> 00:11:40.000 You are dead and suddenly the spirit of God comes and he raises you back into life. 00:11:40.000 --> 00:11:46.000 Same incomparable power gives the stillborn life. 00:11:46.000 --> 00:11:47.000 And what kind of life is this? 00:11:47.000 --> 00:11:51.000 Guys, this is not life that came out of a sperm and an egg. 00:11:51.000 --> 00:11:53.000 1 Peter 1.23 talks about that. 00:11:53.000 --> 00:11:59.000 1 Peter 1.23 says, hey, that you were not born from corruptible seed. 00:11:59.000 --> 00:12:06.000 That you were born again not of corruptible seed but of incorruptible seed by the word of God, which lives and abides forever. 00:12:06.000 --> 00:12:11.000 Not by mortal sperm but conceived or birthed by God himself. 00:12:11.000 --> 00:12:17.000 The life that you presently possess is a life that was birthed by God. 00:12:17.000 --> 00:12:20.000 It is a life given to you by the spirit. 00:12:26.000 --> 00:12:27.000 Just ponder on that. 00:12:27.000 --> 00:12:35.000 The life that you presently possess, if you have given your life to Jesus, the life that you presently possess is a life that was birthed by God. 00:12:35.000 --> 00:12:38.000 It is not the life that came out of a sperm and an egg. 00:12:38.000 --> 00:12:43.000 It's not from mortal sperm. 00:12:43.000 --> 00:12:45.000 It is by the living word of God. 00:12:45.000 --> 00:12:48.000 If you have given your life to Jesus, that's the life you possess. 00:12:48.000 --> 00:12:51.000 It's a life that is insurmountable. 00:12:51.000 --> 00:12:53.000 It is a death destroying life. 00:12:53.000 --> 00:12:56.000 This life that I presently possess cannot be destroyed by death. 00:12:56.000 --> 00:12:57.000 It's not possible. 00:12:57.000 --> 00:13:00.000 This life cannot be overcome by death. 00:13:00.000 --> 00:13:05.000 This life that I presently possess cannot be overcome by death. 00:13:06.000 --> 00:13:08.000 Out there, there are people walking up and down. 00:13:08.000 --> 00:13:12.000 The life that they possess, death will overcome. 00:13:12.000 --> 00:13:15.000 Death will bind them and keep them down. 00:13:15.000 --> 00:13:17.000 I saw two, three people walking by. 00:13:17.000 --> 00:13:20.000 When they die, they do not rise up from the dead. 00:13:20.000 --> 00:13:25.000 Death overpowers the life that they have because it's a life that's made of egg and sperm. 00:13:25.000 --> 00:13:31.000 The life that I possess inside of me is a life that is insurmountable, can never be overcome by death again. 00:13:31.000 --> 00:13:33.000 It's a death destroying life. 00:13:33.000 --> 00:13:36.000 If Jesus can be killed, then I can be killed. 00:13:36.000 --> 00:13:39.000 If Jesus cannot be killed, I cannot be killed. 00:13:43.000 --> 00:13:45.000 It's a life that is limitless. 00:13:45.000 --> 00:13:48.000 It's a life that is unconstrained. 00:13:48.000 --> 00:13:50.000 It's a life that is joyous. 00:13:56.000 --> 00:14:00.000 It has the same quality of the life that Christ presently possesses. 00:14:00.000 --> 00:14:02.000 Which Christ? The Jesus of Nazareth? 00:14:02.000 --> 00:14:06.000 No. It is the same life that the risen Christ presently possesses. 00:14:06.000 --> 00:14:08.000 It's a life that I have. 00:14:08.000 --> 00:14:11.000 This is the miracle, guys, of salvation. 00:14:11.000 --> 00:14:15.000 It's not dead again. It's born again. 00:14:15.000 --> 00:14:18.000 The miracle of salvation happened on resurrection. 00:14:18.000 --> 00:14:24.000 Man, death just delivered me from the womb of my mother. 00:14:24.000 --> 00:14:27.000 Called the wages of sin is death. 00:14:28.000 --> 00:14:33.000 But I still lay there dead and he had to bring back the stillborn to life. 00:14:33.000 --> 00:14:37.000 And he did. And he didn't do it with another sperm and egg meeting. 00:14:37.000 --> 00:14:40.000 He did it by the power of his word. 00:14:40.000 --> 00:14:43.000 Because he says, it's my word that abides and lives forever. 00:14:43.000 --> 00:14:48.000 And you are conceived of my word and not of mortal sperm. 00:14:50.000 --> 00:14:54.000 Insurmountable, death destroying life. 00:14:55.000 --> 00:15:02.000 It's a life that is unreceptive and impervious to the seduction of sin or the attractions of the world. 00:15:02.000 --> 00:15:09.000 This life I actually possess has absolutely no interest in sin. 00:15:10.000 --> 00:15:12.000 It's got absolutely no interest in sin. 00:15:13.000 --> 00:15:15.000 It's not attracted by anything out there. 00:15:17.000 --> 00:15:20.000 It's just obsessed with God. 00:15:20.000 --> 00:15:22.000 That's the kind of life I have. 00:15:22.000 --> 00:15:23.000 Within me. 00:15:23.000 --> 00:15:27.000 It's impervious to sin. Not attracted by it at all. 00:15:29.000 --> 00:15:39.000 It's a life that's actually from the future and is perfectly suited to living in heaven in the kingdom that is already but not yet. 00:15:39.000 --> 00:15:45.000 It's suited for that. It's like having a Mars suit so that you can live here on earth and you can live on Mars. 00:15:45.000 --> 00:15:47.000 That's the kind of life I have. 00:15:47.000 --> 00:15:51.000 Because it's got no attraction to the world. It cannot be seduced by sin. 00:15:52.000 --> 00:15:54.000 It's a life from the future. 00:15:55.000 --> 00:16:01.000 This is the same life that I'm going to live after I die for a microsecond before I repossess life. 00:16:01.000 --> 00:16:03.000 Dying is just the shedding of this body. 00:16:04.000 --> 00:16:06.000 There is no death for me anymore. 00:16:09.000 --> 00:16:11.000 There is no long sleep or stuff like that. 00:16:13.000 --> 00:16:18.000 For a fraction of a second, for a micro fraction of a second, you'll see me disappear. 00:16:18.000 --> 00:16:22.000 And I'll shed my body somewhere here and you'll have a great funeral and say nice things about me. 00:16:22.000 --> 00:16:24.000 And then I'll be alive again. 00:16:28.000 --> 00:16:29.000 Same life. 00:16:30.000 --> 00:16:31.000 Forever. 00:16:31.000 --> 00:16:32.000 This is a forever life. 00:16:32.000 --> 00:16:34.000 This life does not end. 00:16:34.000 --> 00:16:39.000 That's why I said unconstrained, limitless, eternal, vibrant, joyous life. 00:16:39.000 --> 00:16:40.000 This life is joyous. 00:16:40.000 --> 00:16:44.000 Because God is the most joyful being on the face of the universe. 00:16:44.000 --> 00:16:45.000 This is the life I possess. 00:16:45.000 --> 00:16:51.000 This is the life that was given to that stillborn called Jacob who was delivered dead from his mother's womb. 00:16:51.000 --> 00:16:55.000 But his mother's womb was forever broken so that it can never hold him back again. 00:16:57.000 --> 00:16:59.000 This is what we're talking about guys. 00:16:59.000 --> 00:17:02.000 It's a life that revitalizes your mortal body guys. 00:17:03.000 --> 00:17:08.000 It's a life, the life that I presently possess is a life that revitalizes my mortal body. 00:17:08.000 --> 00:17:10.000 It's a life that revitalizes my mortal body. 00:17:10.000 --> 00:17:14.000 The life that I presently possess is a life that revitalizes my mortal body. 00:17:14.000 --> 00:17:15.000 Because look at it this way. 00:17:15.000 --> 00:17:25.000 If God who raised Jesus from the dead, if God who raised Jesus from the dead lives and breathes in me by his spirit, 00:17:27.000 --> 00:17:30.000 then my mortal body is as alive as Christ's. 00:17:31.000 --> 00:17:35.000 Then my mortal body even though it will die is as alive as Christ's. 00:17:35.000 --> 00:17:41.000 Romans 8, 11, not 11, somewhere else it says that his spirit quickens my mortal body. 00:17:42.000 --> 00:17:44.000 And we always think, oh he'll raise it from the dead. 00:17:44.000 --> 00:17:45.000 Sure he will. 00:17:46.000 --> 00:17:47.000 But it quickens my mortal body. 00:17:47.000 --> 00:17:53.000 Is it possible for the spirit of God to be alive in this body and not revitalize my body? 00:17:53.000 --> 00:17:55.000 For your youth shall be renewed like the eagle. 00:17:55.000 --> 00:17:56.000 How? 00:17:56.000 --> 00:17:59.000 By the word of God both spoken, written and living. 00:18:05.000 --> 00:18:07.000 This is the kind of life I possess man. 00:18:13.000 --> 00:18:19.000 It is a life that is like living water which flows from my belly. 00:18:19.000 --> 00:18:21.000 This life never stays stagnant. 00:18:21.000 --> 00:18:23.000 You cannot stagnate this life. 00:18:24.000 --> 00:18:29.000 It just keeps wanting to burst forth. 00:18:29.000 --> 00:18:33.000 Out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water. 00:18:33.000 --> 00:18:34.000 What was he talking about? 00:18:35.000 --> 00:18:39.000 He was talking about the life that awaited them once the spirit of God came. 00:18:42.000 --> 00:18:43.000 Living water life. 00:18:43.000 --> 00:18:45.000 This is, what am I talking about here? 00:18:45.000 --> 00:18:53.000 I'm talking about what the Bible either refers to as resurrection life or refers to as the risen life of Christ. 00:18:56.000 --> 00:18:57.000 Not after we die. 00:18:57.000 --> 00:18:58.000 We presently possess it. 00:19:01.000 --> 00:19:03.000 It is a life that Christ presently possesses. 00:19:03.000 --> 00:19:07.000 And it is also the life of the risen Christ in me. 00:19:07.000 --> 00:19:09.000 How did it come about? He looks so dead. 00:33:28.000 --> 00:33:33.000 I actually took my hand and felt his flesh and I thought this is so not him. 00:33:33.000 --> 00:33:38.000 And he wasn't responding to anything. He was cold. He wasn't him. 00:33:38.000 --> 00:33:42.000 A dead body does not respond to anything. 00:33:42.000 --> 00:33:46.000 If you have died and if you have a new life and the life is the life of risen Christ, 00:33:46.000 --> 00:33:50.000 know that the life inside of you actually does not know how to respond to sin because it's dead to sin. 00:33:50.000 --> 00:33:55.000 It doesn't speak that language. 00:33:55.000 --> 00:34:01.000 So life now is a series of choices and a series of righteous choices. 00:34:01.000 --> 00:34:07.000 And by the grace of God, I can make righteous choices, disallowing sin to rule in this mortal body. 00:34:07.000 --> 00:34:11.000 I can make a series of righteous choices. 00:34:11.000 --> 00:34:22.000 I made a series of righteous choices this morning between 930 and now. 00:34:22.000 --> 00:34:28.000 Made a series of righteous choices. 00:34:28.000 --> 00:34:32.000 It's not difficult. But it does not take away from the life inside me. 00:37:29.000 --> 00:37:32.000 What the devil does, and it is actually the devil that does it, 00:37:32.000 --> 00:37:37.000 through pastors, through pulpits, through commentaries, through experts in Greek and Hebrew, 00:37:37.000 --> 00:37:43.000 and through normal worldly ways, convinces us, convinces us, 00:37:43.000 --> 00:37:47.000 that this life is limited, limit here, because everything awaits you once you die, 00:37:47.000 --> 00:37:51.000 and that you really don't possess that kind of life inside you. 00:37:51.000 --> 00:37:54.000 Bam!
