place not too far from here, a Joy Street. 00:09:22.480 --> 00:09:28.480 And where are your parents? 00:09:28.480 --> 00:09:31.480 So we went and saw this place at Joy Street. 00:09:31.480 --> he was willing to meet us Sunday after the service. 00:10:24.480 --> 00:10:27.480 So I took a few guys from here and went and looked at the place. 00:10:27.480 --> 00:10:34.480 It was quite amazing, man, because like I said yesterday, it almost felt like there used to be a congregation there. 00:10:34.480 --> 00:10:38.480 And then during the meeting, they got raptured and they left everything behind. 00:10:38.480 --> 00:10:48.480 So it's like if you go to the next picture, it's got an amazing amount of space for parking and stuff like that. 00:10:48.480 --> 00:10:56.480 Got a garden that just needs a little bit of trimming because it was landscaped and now it's kind of the weeds have grown. 00:10:56.480 --> 00:10:59.480 And we'll get that done. 00:10:59.480 --> 00:11:04.480 And so in future, we can even have stuff like barbecues out there if the law allows it. 00:11:04.480 --> 00:11:08.480 And it was built in 1967. 00:11:08.480 --> 00:11:16.480 When you go inside, though it looks like a conservative church, in terms of the way they've left it, it was fascinating. 00:11:16.480 --> 00:11:17.480 Go to the next one. 00:11:17.480 --> 00:11:22.480 So you step in there and everything was in such pristine condition, it was surprising. 00:11:22.480 --> 00:11:25.480 It was almost as if someone used to be there and suddenly they disappeared. 00:11:25.480 --> 00:11:26.480 They took nothing with them. 00:11:26.480 --> 00:11:29.480 The sound system is exactly as it was. 00:11:29.480 --> 00:11:31.480 The offering boxes, I checked to see if they left the offering. 00:11:31.480 --> 00:11:35.480 They actually got raptured, but they seem to have taken the offerings. 00:11:35.480 --> 00:11:45.480 The projector, cameras, projector screen, air conditioning, pews, super clean, really cushy chairs. 00:11:45.480 --> 00:11:46.480 There's the works. 00:11:46.480 --> 00:11:49.480 A sound system that's wired into every room. 00:11:49.480 --> 00:11:55.480 That room you see there on the side with the glass, that's a mum's room where mums can sit with their kids. 00:11:55.480 --> 00:11:59.480 The sound guys want it, but they'll have to get married and have kids before they can have it. 00:11:59.480 --> 00:12:01.480 So that's the mum's room. 00:12:01.480 --> 00:12:03.480 And then you come in through the entrance. 00:12:03.480 --> 00:12:04.480 Next one. 00:12:04.480 --> 00:12:10.480 And then you've got this amazing multipurpose room downstairs, which has a kitchen and they didn't take the utensils. 00:12:10.480 --> 00:12:13.480 The utensils are still in the cupboard. 00:12:13.480 --> 00:12:15.480 So we have plenty of plates and stuff. 00:12:15.480 --> 00:12:18.480 They've got more plates than I have at home, which isn't surprising. 00:12:18.480 --> 00:12:23.480 But it's such a clean downstairs and really cool downstairs. 00:12:23.480 --> 00:12:32.480 And then go one more and you'll see that they have a sound system all set up and it pipes into every room in the church. 00:12:32.480 --> 00:12:37.480 They've got an organ, a pipe organ and a Suzuki keyboard. 00:12:37.480 --> 00:12:43.480 And so Sheldon will have to choose which one he wants to play on which song. 00:12:43.480 --> 00:12:47.480 And I was very amazed at the way it was left behind. 00:12:47.480 --> 00:12:50.480 Is there any other picture? 00:12:50.480 --> 00:12:51.480 That's all. been locked up for eight months, but there's no dust. 00:12:57.480 --> 00:12:59.480 There are no cobwebs. 00:12:59.480 --> 00:13:03.480 How is that possible? 00:13:03.480 --> 00:13:04.480 I do not understand that. 00:13:04.480 --> 00:13:05.480 The guy hasn't gone in there. 00:13:05.480 --> 00:13:07.480 He doesn't know what is meant for what. 00:13:07.480 --> 00:13:08.480 He has no idea. 00:13:08.480 --> 00:13:09.480 The landlord, he bought it. 00:13:09.480 --> 00:13:13.480 The church sold it to him for four and a half million dollars. 00:13:13.480 --> 00:13:18.480 He's going to redevelop it, but he won't get permits till about 18 months down the line. 00:13:18.480 --> 00:13:22.480 So we've taken it for one year and then we'll see what happens thereafter. 00:13:22.480 --> 00:13:27.480 But for some strange reason, it reminded me of Deuteronomy, not some strange reason, for obvious reasons. 00:13:27.480 --> 00:13:35.480 It reminded me of Deuteronomy, Chapter 6, verse 10 to 12ish. 00:13:35.480 --> 00:13:43.480 And it says, When God your God ushers you into the land he promised through your ancestors Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to give you, 00:13:43.480 --> 00:13:48.480 you're going to walk into large bustling cities you didn't build, well furnished houses you didn't buy, 00:13:48.480 --> 00:13:53.480 you come upon wells you didn't dig, vineyards and olive orchards you didn't plant. 00:13:53.480 --> 00:13:58.480 When you take it all in and settle down, pleased and content, make sure you don't forget how you got there. 00:13:58.480 --> 00:14:01.480 God brought you out of slavery in Egypt. 00:14:01.480 --> 00:14:12.480 And so he was asking for about $8,000 initially, but we said we couldn't go higher than $6,500. 00:14:12.480 --> 00:14:17.480 And so we'll be paying $6,500 per month for one year. 00:14:17.480 --> 00:14:20.480 And we've already had, just like we rent here at Pilgrim, 00:14:20.480 --> 00:14:26.480 we've already had church coming and asking if they could rent from us, which is a very strange position to be put in. 00:14:26.480 --> 00:14:29.480 We've never been in a position where people want to come and rent from us. 00:14:29.480 --> 00:14:35.480 So we'll see how it works.
