Okay, guys, so if you go to Revelations 5, 1 to 4, Revelations 5, 1 to 4, 00:00:59.360 --> 00:01:03.920 Revelations 5, 1 to 4, it says that, 00:01:04.560 --> 00:01:10.880 Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides 00:01:12.240 --> 00:01:17.840 and sealed with seven seals. And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, 00:01:17.840 --> 00:01:22.400 Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll? But no one in heaven or on earth 00:01:22.400 --> 00:01:28.320 or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it. I wept and wept because no one was 00:01:28.320 --> 00:01:35.360 found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside it. So guys, why was John weeping? What was 00:01:35.360 --> 00:01:42.400 the reason he was weeping? To have an idea what is happening, we've got to go to Revelations 4, 00:01:42.400 --> 00:01:47.760 verse 1. So if you go to Revelations 4, verse 1, here's what it says. It says, 00:01:47.760 --> 00:01:52.320 After this I looked and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. 00:01:52.320 --> 00:01:56.080 And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, 00:01:56.080 --> 00:02:02.400 Come up here and I will show you what must take place after this. So on one hand, John's been invited 00:02:04.480 --> 00:02:11.280 into heaven to have a look at what is supposed to happen. So here is God saying, Hey John, 00:02:11.280 --> 00:02:18.080 I want you to come up. I want you to see what is yet to come. And so there is this invitation and 00:02:18.560 --> 00:02:26.160 in what God wants to show him lies what is going to transpire in the world from there on. 00:02:27.440 --> 00:02:32.240 And then you look at Revelations 4, 1 and then you come to Revelations 5, verses 1 to 4 00:02:32.240 --> 00:02:39.280 and you realize that yes, God wants to show things to John, but it's all written in this scroll 00:02:40.240 --> 00:02:46.640 and there is nobody that can open the scroll. And this is why John begins to weep because the 00:02:46.640 --> 00:02:55.280 destiny of mankind is locked up. The promise of Revelations 4, verse 1 is thwarted because 00:02:55.280 --> 00:03:00.880 there's nobody that can read the scroll or break it seals. It's like telling you that, listen, 00:03:03.040 --> 00:03:10.880 think of it this way. Imagine that the world is being ravaged by COVID and I have a scroll in my 00:03:10.880 --> 00:03:20.160 hand and I say to you, here in this scroll is the secret cure of vaccine that can now set the world 00:03:20.160 --> 00:03:26.720 free. And so I call you up, I say, come up, let me show you how this is going to be done. 00:03:26.720 --> 00:03:32.400 And you come up and the scroll that I'm holding in my hands has seven seals, but in it lies the 00:03:32.400 --> 00:03:39.840 vaccine that will now unlock the future of the earth. And then you hear this mighty angel beginning 00:03:39.840 --> 00:03:44.320 to shout out saying, is there anybody who can open the scroll? And they scour the heavens, 00:03:44.320 --> 00:03:53.360 they scour the earth and they scour beneath the earth and they can't find anybody who has earned 00:03:53.920 --> 00:03:59.680 the right to break open those seals. And that is when John starts weeping because he knows that 00:03:59.680 --> 00:04:04.960 the destiny of mankind is locked and the promise of God is thwarted because there is no one. 00:04:04.960 --> 00:04:11.920 Hey, this is a vision and John is weeping. I pray God that one of the things that happens to you 00:04:11.920 --> 00:04:17.920 and to us as a church is that at some point certain things that you know of God that await the earth 00:04:17.920 --> 00:04:25.440 are so important that they unfold through us and through you that you begin to have such a deep 00:04:26.240 --> 00:04:32.880 Isaiah like Jeremiah like lament saying, oh God, if this doesn't happen, if this doesn't happen, 00:04:32.880 --> 00:04:37.680 if this doesn't happen, then how will the earth survive or how will Israel survive or how will 00:04:37.680 --> 00:04:43.680 a people survive? That is the kind of lament that I want to be grasped with sometimes. It 00:04:44.480 --> 00:04:51.600 has happened occasionally, but it's way too rare. And so here is John weeping and then 00:04:52.400 --> 00:04:57.520 verse five suddenly shifts everything where it says in chapter five, verse five, it says, 00:04:57.840 --> 00:05:04.080 it says, and then I looked and behold, I saw the Lion of Judah step up and he looks and there is 00:05:04.080 --> 00:05:12.400 the Lion of Judah, a reference to the Christ from the Old Testament from Genesis 49. And so then the 00:05:12.400 --> 00:05:20.240 Lion of Judah steps up and let me read it. It says in verse five, then one of the elders said to me, 00:05:20.240 --> 00:05:27.200 do not weep, see the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David has triumphed. He is able to 00:05:27.280 --> 00:05:34.080 open the scroll and its seven seals. And so now Christ begins to approach the throne. But as John 00:05:34.080 --> 00:05:40.960 looks at the Lion of Judah, what he sees is a lamb that bears the marks of slaughter, 00:05:40.960 --> 00:05:46.400 but is no longer dead, but is risen, is standing tall, ready for action. 00:05:47.920 --> 00:05:56.160 So even though he's presented the Lion of Judah, what he sees is the wounds of sacrificial slaughter 00:05:56.160 --> 00:06:02.880 borne by a lamb who has seven horns and seven eyes, which by the way represent perfect power 00:06:02.880 --> 00:06:10.960 and perfect wisdom contained in the person of the spirit where it talks about how this read verse 00:06:10.960 --> 00:06:16.480 six, it says, then I saw a lamb looking as if it had been slain, standing in the center of the throne 00:06:16.480 --> 00:06:20.720 encircled by the four living creatures and elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes, 00:06:20.800 --> 00:06:23.760 which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth, 00:06:25.520 --> 00:06:33.600 representing perfect power and wisdom. And guys, this one scene, this singular scene 00:06:33.600 --> 00:06:42.560 sums up Genesis to Revelation, that the power of God is the lamb on the cross, that the power of God, 00:06:42.560 --> 00:06:48.720 the absolute power of God is the lamb on the cross. The power of God is the lamb on the cross. 00:06:49.280 --> 00:06:56.400 Everything that we have today, the fact that he is sovereign, the fact that the earth belongs to him, 00:06:56.400 --> 00:07:01.360 the fact that man can be redeemed, the fact that healing can happen, the fact that the dead can 00:07:01.360 --> 00:07:07.760 rise, the fact that Satan is being crushed under our feet, the fact that he will be thrown into the 00:07:08.720 --> 00:07:13.840 depths of hell, the fact that Christ has triumphed, the fact that we are seated with him in heavenly 00:07:13.840 --> 00:07:19.120 places above everything else, the fact that powers and principalities are ruled over by him, 00:07:19.120 --> 00:07:25.840 the fact that he fills the church with his fullness and that he is head so that the church can triumph. 00:07:25.840 --> 00:07:34.240 All these things come back to one simple singular fact, that the power of God is the lamb on the 00:07:34.240 --> 00:07:41.680 cross, that the lion of Judah is actually the lamb on the cross. Can't ever take away that all this 00:07:41.680 --> 00:07:50.800 has been achieved for us as humans by the lamb on the cross. What I want to explore today is, 00:07:50.800 --> 00:07:57.280 okay, so the lamb breaks the seals and is worthy to open the scroll. So what 00:07:59.040 --> 00:08:04.160 did he do that made him worthy to open the scrolls? What are the three reasons 00:08:04.960 --> 00:08:09.280 that makes him worthy to open the scrolls? And so I just want to look at those three reasons 00:08:09.280 --> 00:08:15.760 and in that we'll find for ourselves during this time a way to think of God. So the first thing guys, 00:08:16.800 --> 00:08:22.400 so here's the question we're asking. We're saying he's worthy to open the scrolls and why is he 00:08:22.400 --> 00:08:26.400 worthy to open the scroll? What makes him worthy to open the scroll? And here are the three reasons. 00:08:26.400 --> 00:08:41.840 The first one is that he was slain in factual history. As in this wasn't some kind of myth 00:08:42.960 --> 00:08:51.200 like the Greek myths, like the Babylonian gods that were mythology. This wasn't a myth. 00:08:51.200 --> 00:08:59.760 It was factual. This wasn't some cleverly devised fable. This wasn't even a spiritual analogy. 00:09:00.320 --> 00:09:07.920 This wasn't fake news. This was, Christ was slain in factual history. In fact, it becomes a marker 00:09:08.480 --> 00:09:19.360 that divides the ages into BC and AD. And why is this important? How does this make 00:09:19.360 --> 00:09:27.920 Christ worthy to open the scrolls? Guys, this is God himself, a God himself breaking into time. 00:09:27.920 --> 00:09:35.120 The timeless one before whom the present, past and future are all at once. Before him, time is 00:09:35.120 --> 00:09:41.920 not linear. It is now. The one who says I am. The one through whom everything was created. 00:09:42.480 --> 00:09:47.760 The one who the universe cannot contain. The one who is alpha and omega. 00:09:47.760 --> 00:09:54.560 I mean, I was looking at the moon two nights ago when it was the pink moon, when the moon is closest 00:09:54.560 --> 00:09:59.920 to the earth and you could see these little craters and little lines on the moon. I was using my 00:09:59.920 --> 00:10:07.280 binoculars to look at it and I'm thinking to myself 300,000 miles or something away. I'm looking at it 00:10:08.000 --> 00:10:11.600 thinking you made that and that seems so distant and you live beyond that and then there are 00:10:11.600 --> 00:10:17.680 planets beyond that and there are galaxies beyond that and you are bigger than that and this God 00:10:19.200 --> 00:10:24.240 now takes on finite form and enters into time, into history. 00:10:27.760 --> 00:10:33.200 He earned the right to open the scrolls because he entered history. He became someone who actually 00:10:34.000 --> 00:10:39.200 dwelt in history as man and two, no more can people say that no one knows what happens after you die. 00:10:39.200 --> 00:10:44.240 No more can people say that I don't know what happens after you die because now there is a 00:10:44.240 --> 00:10:51.120 case that can be made that there is someone who historically can be verified as having lived on 00:10:51.120 --> 00:10:56.960 the earth, as having died and has having come back to life. I mean you guys may have heard 00:10:56.960 --> 00:11:04.480 Emily's song that she recently sang that's up on YouTube and the last verse says if you rose from 00:11:04.480 --> 00:11:14.080 the grave then I know that I will too and so the first thing that makes him worthy to open the 00:11:14.080 --> 00:11:23.760 scrolls that will unfold the destiny of the earth, the first thing that makes him worthy to open the 00:11:24.320 --> 00:11:32.320 scrolls that will unfold the destiny of the earth is the fact that he did come into time, 00:11:32.880 --> 00:11:39.760 into the history of the earth as a person like you and me and thereby has earned the right to now 00:11:39.760 --> 00:11:45.920 decide the fate of the earth. So that's the first point. The second one and this is the 00:11:45.920 --> 00:11:51.200 this is the center point man I was reading this and I was so blown away. Second, 00:11:52.960 --> 00:11:58.240 but before I go there, oh let me go there, he purchased people for God, he purchased 00:12:00.000 --> 00:12:09.040 people for God, he purchased people for God. The second reason why he is worthy to break open the 00:12:09.040 --> 00:12:15.840 scrolls is that he purchased people for God. He purchased people for God. He purchased people 00:12:16.080 --> 00:12:21.840 for God. Guys before I talk about purchasing people for God I just want to have you look at this 00:12:22.880 --> 00:12:28.160 thing called property rights which was common then and is surprisingly common today. When it 00:12:28.160 --> 00:12:33.440 came to property here are some things you have to keep in mind. One, property requires 00:12:35.760 --> 00:12:40.480 legal ownership, property requires legal ownership. 00:12:40.480 --> 00:12:51.280 Two, only a single user, only a single user 00:12:54.160 --> 00:12:59.200 possessed legal claim over a property, 00:13:01.040 --> 00:13:06.800 possessed legal claim over a property. Only a single user could possess legal claim over a property. 00:13:06.800 --> 00:13:10.720 Three, property could be transferred. 00:13:15.120 --> 00:13:23.680 Why are we talking about this? Because Jesus Christ purchased people for God and to understand 00:13:23.680 --> 00:13:28.960 what is involved in a purchase you have to understand property rights that were alive then 00:13:29.760 --> 00:13:34.720 and that are still present today. So property could be transferred. 00:13:36.960 --> 00:13:43.680 Four, the transaction was always between 00:13:46.960 --> 00:13:50.000 the transaction was always between an owner 00:13:52.800 --> 00:13:54.240 and an interested party. 00:13:54.240 --> 00:14:04.080 Five, and five this really got me. 00:14:06.560 --> 00:14:12.000 The value at which the property was exchanged, the value at which the property was exchanged 00:14:17.680 --> 00:14:18.240 depends, 00:14:18.240 --> 00:14:26.080 depends on how valuable it is to each party. 00:14:35.040 --> 00:14:42.080 How valuable it is to each party. 00:14:42.080 --> 00:14:57.920 It's important to understand this guys. We just think Jesus Christ paid a ransom. Great, so God came down became man paid a ransom and hallelujah. No, there was so much involved in this. 00:14:57.920 --> 00:15:05.680 He was mankind who had sold themselves into slavery and belonged to somebody else. 00:15:05.680 --> 00:15:14.080 Property requires legal ownership. There was legal ownership exerted by the serpent, by Satan upon man. 00:15:17.120 --> 00:15:23.120 You can only be owned by a single user because a single user possessed legal claim. 00:15:23.920 --> 00:15:32.960 And so here was a world that was sold into slavery by Adam now belonged to a single user called the devil. 00:15:34.960 --> 00:15:36.960 But a great thing is property can be transferred. 00:15:38.960 --> 00:15:45.280 But the transaction that takes place is between an owner and an interested party. 00:15:45.360 --> 00:16:01.120 But there's a price to be paid so that property can be transferred and the price is determined or the price depends the value of the property depends on how valuable it is to both parties. 00:16:01.200 --> 00:16:12.560 And here comes this whole idea of God giving away, giving up the most valuable priceless possession in the universe for who? 00:16:12.560 --> 00:16:20.560 For us, for you, for me. What is he trying to do? He's trying to buy back the world. 00:16:20.880 --> 00:16:24.400 Purchase mankind back. What kind of God is this man? 00:16:24.400 --> 00:16:32.400 This is why you now see the book of Hosea and prophet Isaiah when they talk about how Israel is a woman who walked away from her husband. 00:16:32.400 --> 00:16:36.400 And Hosea talks about how he is a woman who walked away from her husband. 00:16:36.400 --> 00:16:40.400 And he is a woman who walked away from her husband. 00:16:40.400 --> 00:16:44.400 And he is a woman who walked away from her husband. 00:16:44.400 --> 00:16:48.400 And they talk about how Israel is a woman who walked away from her husband. 00:16:48.400 --> 00:16:56.400 And Hosea talks about how he goes back and marries her even though there's a divorce that has happened. 00:16:56.400 --> 00:17:00.400 He pays to marry her and bring her back. 00:17:00.400 --> 00:17:06.400 This idea of being bought back has tracked the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. 00:17:06.400 --> 00:17:16.400 But it wasn't the Lion of Judah who went roaring and pawing and brutalizing to get back what was his. 00:17:16.400 --> 00:17:20.400 That's a strange thing, eh? Every other religion gets back things by force. 00:17:20.400 --> 00:17:24.400 This religion has an odd way of getting back things. 00:17:24.400 --> 00:17:28.400 It doesn't get things back by force even though he's the Lion of Judah. 00:17:28.400 --> 00:17:32.400 His power is displayed as the Lamb of God on the cross. 00:17:32.400 --> 00:17:42.400 Because at the end of the day, property that is usurped is not property that has been transferred nor is it a transaction that will stand forever. 00:17:42.400 --> 00:17:46.400 A property has to be paid for. 00:17:46.400 --> 00:17:48.400 Mankind had to be paid for. 00:17:48.400 --> 00:17:54.400 And the value was set by the owner and the one who was buying. 00:17:54.400 --> 00:17:58.400 And the value was the most precious thing on the face of the earth. 00:17:58.400 --> 00:18:02.400 God gives up his son to get back mankind. 00:18:02.400 --> 00:18:09.400 This suddenly gives Jesus the right to open those scrolls. 00:18:09.400 --> 00:18:11.400 But think of it this way, guys. 00:18:11.400 --> 00:18:15.400 His sacrifice has purchased mankind. 00:18:15.400 --> 00:18:17.400 They are now his property. 00:18:17.400 --> 00:18:20.400 See, we sometimes think that Christians are his property. 00:18:20.400 --> 00:18:26.400 You must understand that Christ paid a price with his blood for mankind. 00:18:26.400 --> 00:18:28.400 He purchased mankind back. 00:18:28.400 --> 00:18:30.400 They are his property. 00:18:30.400 --> 00:18:32.400 You know, it's so odd. 00:18:32.400 --> 00:18:37.400 On one hand, we sing songs saying, ask of me and I will give you the nations as your inheritance. 00:18:37.400 --> 00:18:44.400 It's a coronation psalm where Jesus is declared king and it says, ask of me and I'll give you the nations as an inheritance. 00:18:44.400 --> 00:18:48.400 We as churches ask God to give us the nations as an inheritance. 00:18:48.400 --> 00:18:52.400 But we don't realize that when Jesus needed to get his inheritance, 00:18:53.400 --> 00:18:59.400 there was a price that had to be paid because inheritance had been sold to another owner and it had to be purchased back. 00:18:59.400 --> 00:19:04.400 And the purchase price was blood. 00:19:04.400 --> 00:19:10.400 And now we can't sit back and say, well, we'll think about it. 00:19:10.400 --> 00:19:17.400 No, no, no. Now there's an active need to go and cultivate the inheritance that has already been purchased. 00:19:17.400 --> 00:19:22.400 It's like land that has been purchased by your brother and he's left it to you. 00:19:22.400 --> 00:19:24.400 And now you're supposed to cultivate it. 00:19:24.400 --> 00:19:27.400 Otherwise, it'll grow with thorns and brambles again. 00:19:27.400 --> 00:19:28.400 But we'll talk about that another day. 00:19:28.400 --> 00:19:31.400 See, guys, in his death, I love this part. 00:19:31.400 --> 00:19:32.400 I love this part. 00:19:32.400 --> 00:19:33.400 You know why? 00:19:33.400 --> 00:19:39.400 Because at times like this, if we think like this, God will be able to do more through our people to think like this. 00:19:39.400 --> 00:19:41.400 Just one sec. 00:19:41.400 --> 00:19:55.400 So in his death, in his death, here's what Jesus has done. 00:19:55.400 --> 00:20:14.400 One, he has taken control of mankind's history again. 00:20:14.400 --> 00:20:16.400 This is so important, guys. 00:20:16.400 --> 00:20:22.400 See, once he purchased mankind in his death, Jesus has taken control of the course of man's history. 00:20:22.400 --> 00:20:26.400 He's taken control of the course of mankind's history. 00:20:26.400 --> 00:20:27.400 He owns it now. 00:20:27.400 --> 00:20:29.400 He owns it. 00:20:29.400 --> 00:20:34.400 For thousands of years, man was thrown asunder. 00:20:34.400 --> 00:20:37.400 The flood had to be used to cleanse the earth. 00:20:37.400 --> 00:20:43.400 Sodom and Gomorrah were removed from the face of the earth. 00:20:43.400 --> 00:20:48.400 Now that he's purchased mankind back, he once again owns 00:20:48.400 --> 00:20:54.400 And therefore has taken control over the course of the history of man. 00:20:54.400 --> 00:20:56.400 Huge, man. 00:20:56.400 --> 00:20:59.400 COVID cannot dictate. 00:20:59.400 --> 00:21:01.400 Satan cannot dictate. 00:21:01.400 --> 00:21:05.400 The world systems cannot dictate. 00:21:05.400 --> 00:21:10.400 Because someone else owns mankind. 00:21:10.400 --> 00:21:12.400 Someone else owns mankind. 00:21:13.400 --> 00:21:18.400 He now has the right to dictate the course of the history of mankind. 00:21:18.400 --> 00:21:22.400 And if he has that right, then here's the second point. 00:21:22.400 --> 00:21:30.400 The second point is he can now guarantee its future. 00:21:30.400 --> 00:21:35.400 He can now guarantee its future. 00:21:35.400 --> 00:21:39.400 This is where Jeremiah 29,11 should bring great relief. 00:21:39.400 --> 00:21:40.400 I have good plans for you. 00:21:40.400 --> 00:21:41.400 I have a good future for you. 00:21:41.400 --> 00:21:43.400 But see, he owns it now. 00:21:43.400 --> 00:21:44.400 He purchased mankind. 00:21:44.400 --> 00:21:47.400 He can guarantee its future. 00:21:47.400 --> 00:21:51.400 Do you see now why we sing songs about him being the hope of nations? 00:21:51.400 --> 00:21:54.400 Do you see now why we call him the desire of nations? 00:21:54.400 --> 00:21:56.400 He can guarantee its future. 00:21:56.400 --> 00:22:00.400 Every tried tongue nation, he can guarantee its future. 00:22:00.400 --> 00:22:03.400 He decides now the course of those that he purchased 00:22:03.400 --> 00:22:07.400 because he decides the course of mankind's history. 00:22:08.400 --> 00:22:13.400 It's not that the women fancy of world systems or of satanic systems. 00:22:13.400 --> 00:22:15.400 The devil knows this. 00:22:15.400 --> 00:22:17.400 Christians don't. 00:22:19.400 --> 00:22:23.400 And thirdly, I love this one too. 00:22:25.400 --> 00:22:30.400 In his death and in purchasing mankind with his blood, 00:22:30.400 --> 00:22:41.400 he rendered the satanic kingdom illegal. 00:22:42.400 --> 00:22:45.400 He rendered the satanic kingdom illegal. 00:22:45.400 --> 00:22:51.400 It would be like if you had a property and people used to come and squat there 00:22:51.400 --> 00:22:54.400 and build their little encampments and you decide you buy the property 00:22:54.400 --> 00:22:58.400 and you clean up the property and now squatters may still come. 00:22:58.400 --> 00:23:03.400 But if squatters come, they are illegal and there is a way to enforce laws 00:23:03.400 --> 00:23:06.400 so that they can be removed. 00:23:09.400 --> 00:23:12.400 So this idea of him purchasing the... 00:23:12.400 --> 00:23:15.400 The message put it this way. 00:23:15.400 --> 00:23:17.400 He bought back people. 00:23:17.400 --> 00:23:19.400 He bought people back to God. 00:23:20.400 --> 00:23:24.400 Do you see now why millions of angels and the elders and the saints 00:23:24.400 --> 00:23:28.400 burst out in song when the lamb opens the scroll? 00:35:40.400 --> 00:35:43.400 Your understanding of his heart attitude. 00:35:43.400 --> 00:35:50.400 Your expectations of this king determines the largeness of this 00:35:50.400 --> 00:35:56.400 most It's been established. 00:43:26.400 --> 00:43:28.400 And if any of them come in, 00:43:28.400 --> 00:43:32.400 they are illegal, 00:43:32.400 --> 00:43:37.400 and they will be punished. 00:43:41.400 --> 00:43:44.400 But that doesn't stop the thief from trying to come in. 00:43:44.400 --> 00:43:48.400 That doesn't stop drug pushers from trying to come and sell drugs. 00:43:48.400 --> 00:43:50.400 So what then goes into effect? 00:43:51.400 --> 00:43:57.400 The RCMP, drug enforcement agencies, 00:43:57.400 --> 00:44:02.400 and other law organizations. 00:44:02.400 --> 00:44:04.400 What is their job? 00:44:04.400 --> 00:44:07.400 Their job is to come and stop these men, 00:44:07.400 --> 00:44:11.400 enforce the law, and punish them. 00:44:11.400 --> 00:44:13.400 It doesn't stop them. 00:44:13.400 --> 00:44:16.400 They know they can be caught and they will be punished. 00:44:16.400 --> 00:44:21.400 This is the job now of the Church. 00:44:21.400 --> 00:44:26.400 Read Romans 16, verse 19 and 20. 00:44:26.400 --> 00:44:29.400 That Christ will soon crush the serpent under our feet. 00:44:29.400 --> 00:44:35.400 Read 1 John 3, 8. 00:44:35.400 --> 00:44:38.400 Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came down to the earth in flesh 00:44:38.400 --> 00:44:40.400 to destroy the works of the devil. 00:44:40.400 --> 00:44:41.400 Luke 10, 8. 00:44:41.400 --> 00:44:45.400 I have given you authority to trample over serpents and scorpions 00:44:45.400 --> 00:44:46.400 and all the power of the enemy, 00:44:46.400 --> 00:44:50.400 and no hurt or harm by any means shall come to me. 00:44:50.400 --> 00:44:53.400 Acts 10, 38. 00:44:53.400 --> 00:44:57.400 And God anointed the Church, Jacob, Acts 29, 00:44:57.400 --> 00:45:00.400 other people listening, with Holy Spirit and with power, 00:45:00.400 --> 00:45:02.400 just as He anointed Jesus Christ of Nazareth. 00:45:02.400 --> 00:45:05.400 And Jesus went around doing good, 00:45:05.400 --> 00:45:09.400 delivering those that were harassed by the enemy. 00:45:09.400 --> 00:45:12.400 Psalm 149, verse 6 to 9. 00:45:12.400 --> 00:45:16.400 That saints lie on your beds with high braces in your mouth 00:45:16.400 --> 00:45:18.400 and a two-edged sword in your hands. 00:45:18.400 --> 00:45:21.400 Why? So that you can execute upon the enemy 00:45:21.400 --> 00:45:26.400 the written judgment that you can bind their kings and fetters. 00:45:26.400 --> 00:45:29.400 Eutronomy 33, verse 24 onwards. 00:45:29.400 --> 00:45:31.400 The God of Jerusalem is your help. 00:45:31.400 --> 00:45:34.400 Look at His everlasting arms and how He carries you. 00:45:34.400 --> 00:45:37.400 And you shall dwell in a land of safety, 00:45:37.400 --> 00:45:41.400 and as God shouts, destroy, you shall thrust out the enemy. 00:45:41.400 --> 00:45:43.400 And as you thrust out the enemy, 00:45:43.400 --> 00:45:45.400 you shall trample upon His high places, 00:45:45.400 --> 00:45:48.400 and He shall cower before you. 00:45:48.400 --> 00:45:51.400 I could go on. 00:45:51.400 --> 00:45:55.400 A day will come when there will only be one kingdom standing, 00:45:55.400 --> 00:45:58.400 the kingdom of our God and Christ. 00:45:58.400 --> 00:46:01.400 But meanwhile, we keep advancing this kingdom 00:46:01.400 --> 00:46:07.400 through the absolutely powerful weapons that the enemy has given, 00:46:07.400 --> 00:46:12.400 that God has given us against the enemy. 00:46:12.400 --> 00:46:15.400 I'll talk about priests who serve next time 00:46:15.400 --> 00:46:17.400 because we'll cover that next time 00:46:17.400 --> 00:46:22.400 because I think we can stop at a most powerful kingdom. 00:46:22.400 --> 00:46:25.400 The next part I wanted to cover was, 00:46:25.400 --> 00:46:31.400 okay, so God has made us a kingdom and priests who serve, 00:46:31.400 --> 00:46:35.400 but I'll talk about that next time. 00:46:35.400 --> 00:46:37.400 I wanted to think like this. 00:46:37.400 --> 00:46:41.400 I want to think like this. 00:46:41.400 --> 00:46:45.400 That I actually work for, that I actually belong to, 00:46:45.400 --> 00:46:47.400 that I actually serve, 00:46:47.400 --> 00:46:53.400 and that I actually constitute and represent a government 00:46:53.400 --> 00:46:59.400 and represent a king who purchased mankind, 00:46:59.400 --> 00:47:02.400 who dictates its course, 00:47:02.400 --> 00:47:06.400 who rendered Satan illegal, 00:47:06.400 --> 00:47:11.400 and who guarantees its future. 00:47:11.400 --> 00:47:14.400 If angels and creatures can get excited about it, 00:47:14.400 --> 00:47:18.400 I definitely want to get excited about it at a time like this 00:47:18.400 --> 00:47:21.400 because these are the times when the voice of God, 00:47:21.400 --> 00:47:25.400 if spoken through the body, begins to affect the earth. 00:47:25.400 --> 00:47:31.400 I hope this week you were able to take one of those ten things spoken of last week 00:47:31.400 --> 00:47:33.400 and were able to employ it, and if you didn't, 00:47:33.400 --> 00:47:36.400 then you still have tomorrow and Sunday to practice it. 00:47:36.400 --> 00:47:38.400 But may you not come to the Sunday service 00:47:38.400 --> 00:47:41.400 not having attempted at least one of them. 00:47:41.400 --> 00:47:42.400 Yeah? 00:47:42.400 --> 00:47:45.400 Because this is a responsibility, guys. 00:47:45.400 --> 00:47:47.400 Rights have been given us as a church, 00:47:47.400 --> 00:47:50.400 but there are responsibilities that we now need to carry out 00:47:50.400 --> 00:47:54.400 because we represent both a government and a king, 00:47:54.400 --> 00:47:56.400 and not a religion.
