Let's read a couple of verses and then we start. 00:01:01.480 --> 00:01:17.760 It's from Ephesians chapter 4. 00:01:31.480 --> 00:01:59.040 Yeah, Ephesians chapter 4 verse 12, 13, 14. 00:02:01.640 --> 00:02:08.720 As we know, we are all learning about prevailing church. How can we become a prevailing church? 00:02:08.720 --> 00:02:14.920 What does it mean to be a church and what does it mean to be a prevailing church? And what are some 00:02:14.920 --> 00:02:19.720 of the aspects of prevailing church? And that's what we've been learning for the last almost three, 00:02:19.720 --> 00:02:25.840 four months. And through different series. And in fact, we defined a church. What's the 00:02:26.720 --> 00:02:33.520 definition of the church? And also, this prevailing church series have actually touched my life. It 00:02:33.520 --> 00:02:39.600 has changed me, how I look at the church and how I perceive my spiritual journey. And today, 00:02:39.600 --> 00:02:43.640 I was asking the Lord, and today we're going to learn about a different aspect, 00:02:43.640 --> 00:02:50.920 or one of the different aspects of prevailing church. And this is, we're going to learn today 00:02:50.920 --> 00:03:00.680 about prevailing church is a believing church. Prevailing church is a believing church. And for 00:03:00.680 --> 00:03:09.840 that, let's read from Ephesians chapter 4. Chapter 4 verse 12, verse 11. And he gave apostles, 00:03:09.840 --> 00:03:16.400 the prophets, the evangelists, and the shepherds, and the teachers, to equip the saints for the work 00:03:16.400 --> 00:03:24.080 of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith, 00:03:24.080 --> 00:03:30.920 and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to measure the stature of fullness of 00:03:30.920 --> 00:03:40.360 Christ, so that we may no longer be children tossed to and fro by the waves, and carried about by 00:03:40.360 --> 00:03:46.960 every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, or by craftiness in deceitful schemes. 00:03:46.960 --> 00:03:58.040 We know, people call us as believers. That's what the primary name, in fact, in India, 00:03:58.040 --> 00:04:03.200 that's what they used to call us, oh, these are believers, these are believers, these are believers. 00:04:03.200 --> 00:04:09.560 I mean, in fact, that means Christians, because it's very hard to say pronounced Christians, 00:04:09.560 --> 00:04:14.520 so that's why they say, oh, these are believers, believers, believers. And then I started to think, 00:04:14.520 --> 00:04:22.760 what do we believe in? Why do they call us believers? Why are we believers? What made us 00:04:22.760 --> 00:04:28.360 that they call us believers? Because our lives, our spiritual lives, in fact, our real life, 00:04:28.360 --> 00:04:39.120 starts from believing. That's the beginning of our new life. God so loved the world that he has given 00:04:39.240 --> 00:04:48.400 his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him. And that's the beginning of our life. That's the 00:04:48.400 --> 00:04:53.280 beginning of our Christian journey. That's the beginning of our wonderful journey with the Creator 00:04:53.280 --> 00:05:00.560 himself. And then it begins one simple step, and that is by putting our trust, that is by believing 00:05:00.560 --> 00:05:06.920 that we are sinners, and that we need a savior, and that savior is God, he himself, he took the 00:05:06.920 --> 00:05:13.560 human form, and he emptied himself, and he gave his life on the cross, and through his blood, 00:05:13.560 --> 00:05:20.360 through his sacrifice, now I have access to God. And that is the beginning of our journey. And 00:05:20.360 --> 00:05:28.200 that's why, that's why we are called believers. And not only that, if we start to understand, 00:05:28.200 --> 00:05:34.440 if we start to explore our life, every step we take, every step we walk, we walk by faith, 00:05:34.520 --> 00:05:44.120 not by sight. In fact, that's what God wants us to do. That's how we enjoy God, because we can't 00:05:44.120 --> 00:05:49.560 understand him with our senses, we can't understand him, we can't perceive what God has prepared. 00:05:49.560 --> 00:05:55.080 Our heart cannot understand, our ears cannot get it, our eyes cannot see it, our senses, 00:05:55.080 --> 00:06:00.280 our intellectuals cannot understand, cannot even fathom what God has prepared for us. 00:06:00.280 --> 00:06:07.400 And the beginning of it is by faith, believing it. In fact, that's why, in fact, that's a primary 00:06:07.400 --> 00:06:13.560 step, and we are, and that is so common, faith is so common in us. Oh, these people are faith-based 00:06:13.560 --> 00:06:18.760 people, oh, they believe in faith, and then, and this is what we all listen to about it. And then 00:06:18.760 --> 00:06:24.200 we are every day, every Sunday, we talk about faith, and we live by faith, and we try to live 00:06:24.200 --> 00:06:32.280 by faith, and we want to live by faith. And today I was asking the Lord, and God spoke to me clearly 00:06:32.280 --> 00:06:40.360 a specific word about what does Prevailing Church believe in? We know that we have to believe that 00:06:40.360 --> 00:06:45.800 Jesus Christ is the Son of God, but at the same time, I also believe that we don't end there, 00:06:45.800 --> 00:06:53.480 we don't stop there. We start to believe in everything, as a people, as a person, 00:06:53.480 --> 00:06:59.720 as an individual person who journeys with the Lord, in everything we start to exercise our faith, 00:06:59.720 --> 00:07:05.800 we exercise our faith for healing, we exercise our faith for his provision, we exercise our faith 00:07:05.800 --> 00:07:12.440 for his help, we exercise our faith for our existence, and also for our journey with the Lord. 00:07:12.440 --> 00:07:16.440 We exercise our faith because he is the author and perfecter of our faith. 00:07:18.360 --> 00:07:25.880 But at the same time, if we were to call to be a Prevailing Church, if we were to call to be a 00:07:25.880 --> 00:07:32.280 church that is Prevailing, be a church that God wants us to live a certain life of, and we need 00:07:32.280 --> 00:07:47.560 to exercise this faith in a different dimension. Yeah, amen. He knows my voice, so. 00:07:50.200 --> 00:07:54.280 We need to start to exercise faith in a different dimension, and today that's what we're going to 00:07:54.280 --> 00:08:04.280 learn. Believing church, a church that believes and that taps, that taps God's nature in a way 00:08:05.000 --> 00:08:14.200 that never before, that no one has ever done before. We have read from Ephesians chapter 4, 00:08:14.200 --> 00:08:19.000 and then it's so, it is so clear, it is so important even for us to believe, even for us to 00:08:19.000 --> 00:08:25.160 walk by these two, and we walk by faith. Faith is the core important aspect of our journey with 00:08:25.160 --> 00:08:29.240 the Lord, and at the same time, knowledge of Christ. These two are very important. 00:08:31.080 --> 00:08:37.480 Faith and knowledge, faith and knowledge, faith and knowledge, but somehow this part of the world, 00:08:37.480 --> 00:08:45.160 they're so very, very, very, very, very entrusted, very, very excellent. They're very, very awesome 00:08:45.240 --> 00:08:46.440 in the knowledge of God. 00:08:48.840 --> 00:08:55.640 Ha, start to understand what have you learned about God, what the truths you have brought us to the 00:08:55.640 --> 00:09:02.200 to the kingdom of God. Amazing how, how, how, because I come from different part of the world. 00:09:02.200 --> 00:09:07.560 I came here five years ago, now I know both. So when I came here, it's like, wow, what an awesome 00:09:07.560 --> 00:09:14.680 place this is, because truth, truth always sets me free, free, and that truth, and that the knowledge 00:09:14.680 --> 00:09:21.800 of truth is so powerful. I was like, my goodness, I've never heard about God like this. Jacob had 00:09:21.800 --> 00:09:27.400 to come to me, and then he challenged me, and that's the one challenge I failed for many days. 00:09:27.400 --> 00:09:35.240 He challenged me, he said, can you stop calling Jesus as Lord? Can you stop calling God as Lord, 00:09:35.240 --> 00:09:40.440 and start calling Father for a few days? Because I've never called him as Father. It's like Father 00:09:40.440 --> 00:09:48.680 God, Father Lord. Even if I called Father, I would say Father Lord, oh God Father, as if it's a title. 00:09:52.040 --> 00:09:54.120 Dear Heavenly Father Lord, thank you so much. 00:09:58.600 --> 00:10:04.040 He challenged me that in India, and for me, oh my goodness, because we all say, oh God, oh Lord, 00:10:04.120 --> 00:10:12.040 amazing Lord, and the knowledge about God, and the truths about God, start to change my life, 00:10:12.040 --> 00:10:17.080 and it was like amazing. Wow, what a revelation that these people started to experience. 00:10:17.800 --> 00:10:22.280 But at the same time, there is one more aspect that is needed, and that is faith. 00:10:24.200 --> 00:10:29.640 The knowledge of Christ, if you start to live in the knowledge of Christ, and that truth is 00:10:29.640 --> 00:10:34.360 revealed by somebody else, and then we start to enjoy it, and then we are stuck within the 00:10:34.360 --> 00:10:41.480 framework, or within the sphere of that knowledge about God. And whereas if we have faith, if we 00:10:41.480 --> 00:10:48.680 start to excise faith, we unlock things, we open things about God, and God is so excited about it, 00:10:48.680 --> 00:10:55.560 it's like we start to experience him in like never before. I give you three examples, and these three 00:10:55.560 --> 00:11:00.840 are my favorite examples. Maybe I might have shared many times to all of my friends by this time, 00:11:00.840 --> 00:11:06.760 but I really want to put them back on here again. So the first example I really, really, really, 00:11:06.760 --> 00:11:16.200 really love is three. I really like these three, so I don't know which one is first. Let me start from 00:11:17.880 --> 00:11:25.320 Old Testament. Rehab. Because I've been reading about rehab lately, and amazing what God is 00:11:25.320 --> 00:11:35.640 teaching me. Rehab, we all know rehab. It's from Joshua chapter two, and the story of rehab is 00:11:35.640 --> 00:11:42.920 she runs a prostitution house. Her house is a prostitution house, and then her house is on the 00:11:42.920 --> 00:11:48.920 wall, on the wall of the city, and that's the edge of the city, and then after the wall there is no 00:11:48.920 --> 00:11:55.000 city at all, because they secure the city with a wall. They could not kick her out of the city, 00:11:55.000 --> 00:11:59.480 because there is no city of the wall. That's why they have to push her to the edge of the city, 00:11:59.480 --> 00:12:05.800 and then she was living on the edge of the wall. And then there comes two people, two men, two 00:12:05.800 --> 00:12:13.160 people from Israel, two spies from Israel, and then they stepped into her house, and Bible says she 00:12:13.160 --> 00:12:20.120 showed kindness, and she welcomed. And then spies came to destroy the whole city. She knew that they 00:12:20.120 --> 00:12:25.240 came to find out about what's happening in the city, and then go back, and then come with an army, 00:12:25.240 --> 00:12:33.160 and destroy everyone. But what rehab did by faith, in Hebrews, what rehab did by faith is like she 00:12:33.160 --> 00:12:39.160 showed kindness, and then she accepted them, and then they both, she helped them to escape, she helped 00:12:39.160 --> 00:12:45.640 them to escape from that city, because King came to know that two spies are in the country. So she 00:12:45.720 --> 00:12:51.320 helped them to jump over the wall with a rope, and then she helped them to go away, escape, 00:12:51.320 --> 00:12:55.800 and then they escaped, and then they came back. And then before they were escaping, she asked them 00:12:55.800 --> 00:13:01.960 a promise, could you please, when you come back, could you please save all my, could you please 00:13:01.960 --> 00:13:07.000 spare all my family, my mother, my father, my sister, my brothers, and their families, and their 00:13:07.000 --> 00:13:13.400 families, and their families. And the people, those people said, yes, we, whoever is in your house, 00:13:13.400 --> 00:13:20.840 we will spare their lives. The house of prostitution has turned into a house of protection, 00:13:20.840 --> 00:13:27.400 because everyone else died in that, in that city, except the people who ever are there in that house. 00:13:28.040 --> 00:13:32.360 And then by faith, and then I was thinking about it, I was praying about it, and what kind of faith 00:13:32.360 --> 00:13:38.760 is that? Because so far, till that moment, so far, till that moment in the history, people, everyone, 00:13:38.760 --> 00:13:47.080 even the Jews, they believed that God has a heart for the people of Israel, Jews, they are their first 00:13:47.080 --> 00:13:55.000 chosen sons, they are the people of God, and no one cannot enter into that family of people of God. 00:13:55.000 --> 00:14:01.640 And that was the thinking of the people in those days, even the other people in the entire world, 00:14:02.280 --> 00:14:09.000 whoever, whoever listening about, whoever came to know about God of the slaves, God of these Israelites, 00:14:09.000 --> 00:14:14.760 they always thought that, yes, God chose them, and we no longer belong to them, we cannot enter 00:14:14.760 --> 00:14:21.640 into them. But Rahab, she has a faith, she touched, she tapped a new, new different dimension of God, 00:14:21.640 --> 00:14:28.120 that the God of slaves, if he can save those slaves, if he has a heart to save those slaves, 00:14:28.200 --> 00:14:34.120 he has a heart, big heart, he's so big enough that he can include my family into them as well. 00:14:36.360 --> 00:14:41.800 It happened even before they went into promised land, even before they went into promised land, 00:14:41.800 --> 00:14:48.520 this family of Gentiles who people, even the Jews, like they never thought that other family can stay 00:14:48.520 --> 00:14:56.520 with them. But she opened a new dimension that God is a God of all people, whoever believes in him, 00:14:56.520 --> 00:15:02.440 whoever believes in him. That is not only the Old New Testament words, that is also the, the, 00:15:04.200 --> 00:15:08.680 the Old Testament words, like she believed, of course, she comes from a different, 00:15:08.680 --> 00:15:13.480 tough background. I don't want to use the prostitute, but, but she comes from a different, 00:15:13.480 --> 00:15:21.080 tough background, but yet she tapped a new nature of God, that, ah, this God accepts whoever believes 00:15:21.080 --> 00:15:32.120 in him. He's so loving. He's so kind. And I believe, prevailing church is a church 00:15:33.160 --> 00:15:42.440 that opens, that taps a new, new, new, new, wonderful, awesome, awesome nature of God, 00:15:42.440 --> 00:15:49.400 like no one has ever done before. That's what Centurion did. 00:15:51.240 --> 00:15:57.320 Until then, everyone believed, in fact, everyone lived, everyone believed that for a healing to 00:15:57.320 --> 00:16:04.120 happen, Jesus had to come and then lay hands or say, but this guy goes, I'm not even worthy, 00:16:04.120 --> 00:16:10.200 Lord, for you to come under my roof. Could you please say a word? Your word is enough. 00:16:10.200 --> 00:16:19.720 Your word is enough. For the first time ever, he tapped into a new nature of God, that, ah, 00:16:20.280 --> 00:16:28.040 he has so much power that his word can also heal. And I believe, prevailing church is a church 00:16:28.760 --> 00:16:36.360 that taps this kind of, his awesome nature. And he's like, that's what God, I guess, I guess that's 00:16:36.360 --> 00:16:43.960 why God is so excited about our faith, because it pleases him. Faith pleases him. That's the only 00:16:43.960 --> 00:16:50.520 pleases him, because even before he opens up himself, because you know him, because you 00:16:50.520 --> 00:16:55.080 understand him, because you want to live with him, because you know what kind of heart he is, 00:16:55.080 --> 00:16:59.640 and you try to explore and tap into supernatural ability of God. 00:16:59.640 --> 00:17:11.480 And Mary, I guess, Mary, that's what she said. It's like, oh, Jesus, there is no wine here. 00:17:12.120 --> 00:17:20.520 Could you do something? He goes, yeah, my time hasn't come yet. Where is the water? Bring me the water. 00:17:21.320 --> 00:17:26.680 And now as a prevailing church, I believe we have, I believe that's the call, that's the kind of 00:17:27.480 --> 00:17:32.360 excitement I have, like, Lord, if we were the prevailing church, if you call us to be prevailing 00:17:32.360 --> 00:17:39.800 church and help us to tap into that new, new nature of you, Lord, new mercy of you. 00:17:39.800 --> 00:17:57.640 So I pray that start to think about this. We were so, we are so excited about knowledge, because that's what humans are very excited about. 00:17:57.640 --> 00:18:04.680 In fact, that's what Adam and Eve, when Eve, she took a fruit, and then she took the fruit of good and evil, knowledge. 00:18:05.160 --> 00:18:12.200 That's why humans are very excited. They are very attracted towards, towards the, towards the knowledge about the word of God. 00:18:12.200 --> 00:18:25.800 That's why if someone is preaching a word of God that is so powerful, or if someone is answering, why suffering comes, or how, what happens after we, if someone is answering a question, we, we see many people signed up for this one than that one. 00:18:26.600 --> 00:18:41.720 Because we want to know the answer, we want to know the knowledge, and that is important too. I don't want to diminish the importance of that. I, I want to exalt it, but at the same time, we have to have, we have to start to excise our faith too. 00:18:41.720 --> 00:18:55.720 Now tell me, when was the last time I have excised faith, and when was the last time I have learned something new about God? I have something learned, I have learned something new about God this time, this morning, but the last time I have excised faith, maybe when I asked something from Abel. 00:18:55.720 --> 00:19:02.120 And that was a long time ago, Abel knows it. 00:19:02.120 --> 00:19:18.440 I pray that we start to, we start to excise faith as well. We start to excise faith as well, and not in the way, like, I pray that we start to excise faith like the Prevailing Church does. 00:19:19.080 --> 00:19:27.000 Like to open things, to tap into new things, to, to, to knock new things so that the God open his doors. 00:19:27.000 --> 00:19:40.280 And that's what, that's what we're going to learn today, how we can do this, how this works, and, and now I'm going to learn, I'm going to share a few stories from my life too, because I don't know any other life, as Jacob says, better than my life. 00:19:41.160 --> 00:19:53.560 So the first one, if you want to excise faith in a new dimension, like a, like, like the Prevailing Church does, if you want to do that, first we have to consider our condition. 00:19:53.560 --> 00:20:01.720 Today I have prepared a good note, so it's going to be CCCCC. Derek, write it. 00:20:02.680 --> 00:20:05.640 So the first one, C, condition. 00:20:08.600 --> 00:20:10.600 Yeah, condition. 00:20:12.600 --> 00:20:21.320 Condition. I think, yes, our condition, sometimes the conditions we go in are very tough. 00:20:21.960 --> 00:20:23.960 And I praise God for that. 00:20:25.080 --> 00:20:33.240 Because when the conditions are very tough, and his mercy, his grace is so, so, so, so abundant. 00:20:39.080 --> 00:20:41.080 When conditions, when we, 00:20:41.960 --> 00:20:51.960 as, as, start looking condition as an opportunity for God to release his supernatural ability. 00:20:53.960 --> 00:21:07.000 I don't care even the condition is a result of my mess, or it's a result of the mess of the world, or it's a result of mess of someone else, or it's a result of my weakness. 00:21:07.400 --> 00:21:19.960 But every condition, if you stand still and then start looking at the condition, and then start by faith, by faith, if you can see, Lord, this is the condition that I am living in. 00:21:19.960 --> 00:21:25.960 This is the condition that now I have come to. This is the condition that I am somehow pushed into. 00:21:25.960 --> 00:21:34.520 Or this is the condition that the people somehow, they pushed me, somehow they arranged me, somehow, somehow they did to me, and now I am here, Lord. 00:21:34.520 --> 00:21:43.720 Now what you're gonna do, have your power, have your supernatural ability, have your grace, have your mercy, gonna be real in this condition, Lord. 00:21:45.240 --> 00:21:51.240 Start thinking condition as an opportunity where God would launch his supernatural ability in your life. 00:21:52.280 --> 00:21:54.280 Otherwise we cannot deal with it. 00:21:57.720 --> 00:21:59.720 That's what the faith is. 00:22:01.720 --> 00:22:03.720 That's what the faith is. 00:22:04.520 --> 00:22:08.520 Faith is, that's when faith operates. 00:22:08.520 --> 00:22:22.520 Because our faith is not in our ability, our faith is not in our understanding of things, our faith is not in our intellectual power, or our faith is not in the past experience that we have gathered all these years. 00:22:22.520 --> 00:22:30.520 But our faith is in God who can do without any doubt. 00:22:30.520 --> 00:22:48.520 Every condition, every condition, if you start to look at the condition, there is a way, there is a door that is closed, or there is a door that is closed and God is waiting to open that door so that you can experience his supernatural power of God. 00:22:48.520 --> 00:23:00.520 Be it a physical healing that you're praying, or financial, or your son, or your daughter, or your family, or for the church, or for your ministry, or for anything. 00:23:00.520 --> 00:23:14.520 But every condition that is not in your hands, that is going out of your ability, if you stop and stand still, pause a second, and then start looking at it and ask Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit, what do you want to do? 00:23:14.520 --> 00:23:16.520 What is your will out of this? 00:23:16.520 --> 00:23:21.520 You will start to experience his supernatural power of God. 00:23:21.520 --> 00:23:33.520 And that's why, that's why Joseph, Genesis chapter 50, verse 20, Joseph, that's why one of my favorite words actually, I mean all verses are my favorite. 00:23:33.520 --> 00:23:40.520 So Genesis chapter 50 and verse 20, why am I going to express? 00:23:40.520 --> 00:24:05.520 Yeah, Joseph after meeting his friends at the end of the story, in the climax, before they put the end story, end card for this wonderful story, he says, as for you, oh my brothers, as for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it out about that many people should be kept alive. 00:24:05.520 --> 00:24:19.520 Genesis 50, 20, every condition that might, if we want to handle it on our own, we might get evil out of it, or we might experience evil out of it. 00:24:19.520 --> 00:24:24.520 But if we pause a second and then start to see Lord, what is your will? 00:24:24.520 --> 00:24:26.520 What do you, what can you do? 00:24:26.520 --> 00:24:37.520 Give me faith that can tap Lord, that can knock supernatural ability of you that can be evident. 00:24:37.520 --> 00:24:43.520 Whatever the situation is, whatever the situation is. 00:24:43.520 --> 00:24:52.520 Start thinking in those terms. Lord, this is the condition that I am in, but the evil meant it for bad, but you meant it for good. 00:24:52.520 --> 00:25:02.520 He can bring anything out of, he can, that's what Derek and Jane and they said, it's like he brings beauty out of ashes. 00:25:02.520 --> 00:25:13.520 They burnt it completely down and now there is no, there is no solidity in that ash, but yet he can bring beauty out of that ash. 00:25:13.520 --> 00:25:25.520 Start looking at condition, every condition, every condition, every condition, may the Holy Spirit, may we, may we pause for a second and ask Holy Spirit, Lord, this is the condition that I am in. 00:25:25.520 --> 00:25:32.520 May you open, may you help me to live by faith, because you have always these two options, right? 00:25:32.520 --> 00:25:42.520 And the knowledge of God and then faith. And then sometimes we go by knowledge of God because we know this is the God, this is the heart of God and this is what he wants and then we go by it. 00:25:42.520 --> 00:25:51.520 On the other hand, there is also faith, Lord. 00:25:51.520 --> 00:26:01.520 So may the Holy Spirit lead us, that's why hearing is very important in knocking the heart of God. 00:26:01.520 --> 00:26:04.520 What do you mean by tapping?
