00:01:28.000 --> 00:01:32.000 Remember guys, what happened fifty days prior to them coming to Mount Sinai? 00:01:32.000 --> 00:01:34.000 They had this thing called the Passover. 00:01:34.000 --> 00:01:36.000 Remember? 00:01:36.000 --> 00:01:40.000 They had the Passover and that night all of Israel departed Egypt. 00:01:40.000 --> 00:01:44.000 So fifty days after they departed Egypt, 00:01:44.000 --> 00:01:46.000 Moses has brought them to this mountain 00:01:46.000 --> 00:01:48.000 which is called Sinai. 00:01:48.000 --> 00:01:50.000 Sinai, what's the other name for Mount Sinai? 00:01:50.000 --> 00:01:52.000 Mount Horeb. 00:01:52.000 --> 00:01:54.000 Both are the same. 00:01:54.000 --> 00:01:56.000 Horeb and Sinai are the same thing. 00:01:56.000 --> 00:01:58.000 Mount Horeb is called the mountain of God. 00:01:58.000 --> 00:02:00.000 It's the same thing as Mount Sinai. 00:02:00.000 --> 00:02:02.000 So here is Moses. 00:02:02.000 --> 00:02:06.000 He's brought them to this mountain fifty days after Passover. 00:02:06.000 --> 00:02:10.000 That was the first Pentecost celebrated by the people of God. 00:02:10.000 --> 00:02:14.000 And here's what happened in Exodus 19.19. 00:02:14.000 --> 00:02:18.000 Verse 16. 00:02:18.000 --> 00:02:20.000 On the morning of the third day, 00:02:20.000 --> 00:02:23.000 there was thunder and lightning with a thick cloud over the mountain 00:02:23.000 --> 00:02:25.000 and a very loud trumpet blast. 00:02:25.000 --> 00:02:27.000 Everyone in the camp trembled. 00:02:27.000 --> 00:02:29.000 Then Moses led the people out of the camp to meet with God 00:02:29.000 --> 00:02:31.000 and they stood at the foot of the mountain. 00:02:31.000 --> 00:02:33.000 Mount Sinai was covered with smoke 00:02:33.000 --> 00:02:35.000 because the Lord descended on it in fire. 00:02:35.000 --> 00:02:39.000 The smoke billowed up from it like smoke from a furnace. 00:02:39.000 --> 00:02:41.000 The whole mountain trembled violently 00:02:41.000 --> 00:02:43.000 and the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder. 00:02:43.000 --> 00:02:45.000 Then Moses spoke and the voice of God answered. 00:02:45.000 --> 00:02:48.000 And at Mount Sinai was given the law. 00:02:48.000 --> 00:02:50.000 Now go to Acts chapter 2. 00:02:50.000 --> 00:02:52.000 That's the New Testament Mount Sinai. 00:02:52.000 --> 00:02:56.000 Where thank God the disciples' heads didn't start smoking 00:02:56.000 --> 00:02:58.000 but there was fire, man. 00:02:58.000 --> 00:03:00.000 Acts chapter 2. 00:03:02.000 --> 00:03:04.000 Verses 1 and 2 and 3. 00:03:08.000 --> 00:03:10.000 Acts chapter 2, 1, 2 and 3. 00:03:10.000 --> 00:03:12.000 When the day of Pentecost came, 00:03:12.000 --> 00:03:14.000 they were all together in one place. 00:03:14.000 --> 00:03:18.000 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind 00:03:18.000 --> 00:03:22.000 came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 00:03:22.000 --> 00:03:25.000 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire 00:03:25.000 --> 00:03:28.000 that separated and came to rest on each of them. 00:03:28.000 --> 00:03:30.000 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit 00:03:30.000 --> 00:03:33.000 and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. 00:03:33.000 --> 00:03:39.000 So Pentecost is a feast that had been ordained by the God of Israel ages ago 00:03:39.000 --> 00:03:42.000 and we see that he first spoke of it in Leviticus 25, 00:03:42.000 --> 00:03:45.000 that it was first celebrated in Exodus 19 00:03:45.000 --> 00:03:49.000 and that it was then reenacted again in its actual form in Acts chapter 2. 00:03:49.000 --> 00:03:51.000 Because remember the Old Testament is the shadow. 00:03:51.000 --> 00:03:54.000 The New Testament is the substance. 00:03:54.000 --> 00:03:55.000 So remember that. 00:03:55.000 --> 00:03:57.000 So here's what it represents then. 00:03:57.000 --> 00:04:00.000 Pentecost, whenever you ask a Pentecostal, 00:04:00.000 --> 00:04:01.000 what does Pentecost represent? 00:04:01.000 --> 00:04:03.000 They say speaking in tongues. 00:04:03.000 --> 00:04:07.000 That's just an outworking of what happens inside. 00:04:07.000 --> 00:04:09.000 So here's what it actually means. 00:04:09.000 --> 00:04:12.000 Pentecost means first fruits, 00:04:12.000 --> 00:04:16.000 first fruits of the harvest and I'll explain that. 00:04:16.000 --> 00:04:21.000 Second, it's heavens being opened. 00:04:21.000 --> 00:04:23.000 We'll go over each one later. 00:04:23.000 --> 00:04:25.000 Heavens being opened. 00:04:25.000 --> 00:04:28.000 Third, a new anointing. 00:04:28.000 --> 00:04:34.000 Fourth, a call to come up the mountain. 00:04:34.000 --> 00:04:39.000 And see God. 00:04:39.000 --> 00:04:48.000 Fifth, a release of blueprints for building the kingdom. 00:04:48.000 --> 00:04:53.000 This is what Pentecost actually means. 00:04:53.000 --> 00:04:58.000 The outward sign of the Spirit of God, 00:04:58.000 --> 00:05:00.000 for many, is speaking in tongues. 00:05:00.000 --> 00:05:01.000 For some, it's prophecy. 00:05:01.000 --> 00:05:04.000 But what's the meaning of the word of God? 00:05:04.000 --> 00:05:06.000 The word of God is the word of God. 00:05:06.000 --> 00:05:09.000 So the word of God is the word of God. 00:05:09.000 --> 00:05:11.000 So the word of God is the word of God. 00:05:11.000 --> 00:05:13.000 So the word of God is the word of God. 00:05:13.000 --> 00:05:15.000 So the word of God is the word of God. 00:05:15.000 --> 00:05:16.000 For many, it's speaking in tongues. 00:05:16.000 --> 00:05:17.000 For some, it's prophecy. 00:05:17.000 --> 00:05:22.000 But what's the most outward sign of the Spirit of God in you? 00:05:22.000 --> 00:05:23.000 What is it? 00:05:23.000 --> 00:05:27.000 It is that we look more like Jesus. 00:05:27.000 --> 00:05:30.000 He's called the Spirit of Jesus or Spirit of Christ. 00:05:30.000 --> 00:05:32.000 Guys, these are the things that Pentecost accomplishes. 00:05:32.000 --> 00:05:33.000 First fruits of the harvest. 00:05:33.000 --> 00:05:34.000 What does that mean? 00:05:34.000 --> 00:05:38.000 Remember when... 00:05:38.000 --> 00:05:42.000 Why did the Holy Spirit come on the day of Pentecost? 00:05:42.000 --> 00:05:44.000 Because Christ had died. 00:05:44.000 --> 00:05:47.000 He was the firstborn from the dead. 00:05:47.000 --> 00:05:51.000 And now on the first day that the Holy Spirit comes, 00:05:51.000 --> 00:05:54.000 3,000 people get saved and gathered into the kingdom. 00:05:54.000 --> 00:05:58.000 Those 3,000 become the first fruits of the harvest that was to follow. 00:05:58.000 --> 00:06:00.000 And how long has the harvest been going on? 00:06:00.000 --> 00:06:02.000 For the last 2,000 years. 00:06:02.000 --> 00:06:04.000 Do you know that you're part of that harvest? 00:06:04.000 --> 00:06:09.000 It started one day on Pentecost in Acts chapter 2. 00:06:09.000 --> 00:06:12.000 And that day 3,000 got saved. 00:06:12.000 --> 00:06:15.000 Since then, that was the first fruits of the harvest. 00:06:15.000 --> 00:06:18.000 Since then we've been continuously being harvested. 00:06:18.000 --> 00:06:20.000 And we are part of that harvest. 00:06:20.000 --> 00:06:21.000 The work of the Spirit. 00:06:21.000 --> 00:06:24.000 So Pentecost is the first fruits of the harvest. 00:06:26.000 --> 00:06:28.000 Pentecost is heaven's being opened. 00:06:28.000 --> 00:06:30.000 That day for the first time in the history of man, 00:06:30.000 --> 00:06:32.000 God turned up on a mountain. 00:06:34.000 --> 00:06:35.000 God actually says, 00:06:35.000 --> 00:06:37.000 Guys for 3 days, consecrate yourself. 00:06:38.000 --> 00:06:40.000 Make sure that nobody comes near this mountain. 00:06:40.000 --> 00:06:41.000 Why? 00:06:41.000 --> 00:06:42.000 Because God is going to turn up. 00:06:44.000 --> 00:06:47.000 Heavens were opened and God descended on the mountain. 00:06:47.000 --> 00:06:50.000 That's why it was blazing with fire and smoke and trembling. 00:06:51.000 --> 00:06:53.000 And wasn't no volcanic eruption. 00:06:55.000 --> 00:06:58.000 It was just because God touched that mountain. 00:06:58.000 --> 00:07:00.000 And so what happens in Acts chapter 2? 00:07:00.000 --> 00:07:02.000 The heavens open and God comes. 00:07:02.000 --> 00:07:04.000 Now He doesn't come to go back. 00:07:04.000 --> 00:07:06.000 He comes to stay. 00:07:06.000 --> 00:07:09.000 Because He's taken up residence in a people. 00:07:11.000 --> 00:07:12.000 Yeah. 00:07:12.000 --> 00:07:13.000 Thank you. 00:07:13.000 --> 00:07:14.000 Media director. 00:07:16.000 --> 00:07:18.000 He's taken up residence in a people. 00:07:18.000 --> 00:07:19.000 The heavens are open. 00:07:19.000 --> 00:07:21.000 3. It's the new anointing. 00:07:21.000 --> 00:07:23.000 Never before in the history of man. 00:07:23.000 --> 00:07:24.000 What is anointing? 00:07:24.000 --> 00:07:27.000 Anointing is the presence of God to accomplish a purpose. 00:07:27.000 --> 00:07:29.000 That's basically what it is. 00:07:29.000 --> 00:07:31.000 Who is and where does it come from? 00:07:31.000 --> 00:07:33.000 The anointing always comes from the anointed one. 00:07:33.000 --> 00:07:35.000 Who is the anointed one? 00:07:35.000 --> 00:07:36.000 The Christ. 00:07:36.000 --> 00:07:38.000 Christ means what? 00:07:38.000 --> 00:07:39.000 Anointed one. 00:07:39.000 --> 00:07:42.000 And so here is a new anointing. 00:07:42.000 --> 00:07:47.000 Meaning the spirit of Christ Himself has come and started living in you. 00:07:47.000 --> 00:07:49.000 How newer can the anointing get? 00:07:50.000 --> 00:07:52.000 It's the ultimate expression of the anointing. 00:07:52.000 --> 00:07:57.000 Because the spirit of the anointed one has now come and dwelt in you. 00:07:57.000 --> 00:07:59.000 That's why it's called the new anointing. 00:08:00.000 --> 00:08:02.000 Tracy, God wants you to know this. 00:08:02.000 --> 00:08:05.000 That starting today He's going to do such an exchange in your life. 00:08:06.000 --> 00:08:12.000 You know, the theme over your life for the next seven months is the great exchange. 00:08:12.000 --> 00:08:14.000 The great exchange. 00:08:14.000 --> 00:08:16.000 Go read Isaiah 61 I think. 00:08:16.000 --> 00:08:18.000 Where it says, I'll give you this for that. 00:08:18.000 --> 00:08:19.000 I'll give you this for that. 00:08:19.000 --> 00:08:21.000 So I'll give you beauty for ashes. 00:08:21.000 --> 00:08:24.000 I'll give you the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. 00:08:24.000 --> 00:08:26.000 I'll make you an oak of righteousness. 00:08:26.000 --> 00:08:29.000 Whatever you want to exchange, God is saying, come. 00:08:29.000 --> 00:08:31.000 Come, exchange with me. 00:08:31.000 --> 00:08:35.000 And so you'll find for the next seven months that everything is being exchanged. 00:08:35.000 --> 00:08:39.000 And so at times go up and say, Father, these are the things I want to exchange. 00:08:39.000 --> 00:08:43.000 Anything that you don't like in terms of yourself, in terms of your character, 00:08:43.000 --> 00:08:45.000 go and say, Father, one change in this too. 00:08:45.000 --> 00:08:47.000 He's going to come and say, I want to exchange this. 00:08:47.000 --> 00:08:50.000 And then He's going to come and say, Tracy, what do you want to exchange? 00:08:50.000 --> 00:08:52.000 The word over you for the next seven months is, 00:08:52.000 --> 00:08:57.000 daughter, I want you to indulge and engage me in the great exchange. 00:08:58.000 --> 00:09:01.000 So go to Him and exchange whatever you want. 00:09:01.000 --> 00:09:03.000 Whatever you want. 00:09:03.000 --> 00:09:07.000 I know it's kind of unfair to single you out when you're coming here for the first time. 00:09:07.000 --> 00:09:09.000 Too bad. 00:09:11.000 --> 00:09:12.000 What's the worst that can happen? 00:09:12.000 --> 00:09:13.000 You won't come again. 00:09:13.000 --> 00:09:15.000 But at least you went with the word of God. 00:09:15.000 --> 00:09:18.000 So please remember that, the great exchange. 00:09:18.000 --> 00:09:20.000 I think it's in Isaiah 61. 00:09:20.000 --> 00:09:22.000 Let me just check. 00:09:22.000 --> 00:09:23.000 Yeah. 00:09:27.000 --> 00:09:29.000 To preach the good news. 00:09:29.000 --> 00:09:30.000 Okay. 00:09:30.000 --> 00:09:32.000 He has sent me, starting from verse two, 00:09:32.000 --> 00:09:35.000 to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor. 00:09:35.000 --> 00:09:39.000 The day of vengeance is no longer applicable because Jesus Christ came. 00:09:39.000 --> 00:09:42.000 To comfort all who mourn, to provide for those who grieve in Zion, 00:09:42.000 --> 00:09:44.000 to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, 00:09:44.000 --> 00:09:46.000 the oil of gladness instead of mourning, 00:09:46.000 --> 00:09:48.000 a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. 00:09:48.000 --> 00:09:50.000 They will be called all who mourn. 00:09:50.000 --> 00:09:53.000 Instead of a spirit of despair, they will be called oaks of righteousness, 00:09:53.000 --> 00:09:56.000 a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor. 00:09:56.000 --> 00:10:00.000 They will rebuild the ancient ruins, restore the places long devastated. 00:10:00.000 --> 00:10:04.000 They'll renew ruined cities that have been devastated for generations. 00:10:04.000 --> 00:10:06.000 And so on it goes. 00:10:06.000 --> 00:10:08.000 Read Isaiah 61, one to six, 00:10:08.000 --> 00:10:11.000 because in it is your inheritance for the next seven months. 00:10:11.000 --> 00:10:13.000 And let this exchange begin to happen. 00:10:13.000 --> 00:10:15.000 This is just what I read out. 00:10:15.000 --> 00:10:18.000 Other than that, go to God and say, Father, here's another list that I have. 00:10:18.000 --> 00:10:19.000 Begin to exchange. 00:10:19.000 --> 00:10:22.000 The only thing we don't exchange are our spouses, guys. 00:10:22.000 --> 00:10:24.000 Everything else is permissible. 00:10:24.000 --> 00:10:28.000 And you always exchange something for the better. 00:10:28.000 --> 00:10:30.000 Okay. 00:10:30.000 --> 00:10:36.000 Guys, so we're talking about a call to come up to the mountain and see God. 00:10:36.000 --> 00:10:39.000 Just imagine, God is saying to Moses, 00:10:39.000 --> 00:10:45.000 listen, on the third day I want you and some of the elders to come up and see me. 00:10:45.000 --> 00:10:48.000 And what do you think happened when the Holy Spirit came? 00:10:48.000 --> 00:10:50.000 For the first time, it wasn't a few elders. 00:10:50.000 --> 00:10:52.000 It was the entire world being torn. 00:10:52.000 --> 00:10:55.000 Come, I've settled all the scores between the Father and you. 00:10:55.000 --> 00:10:57.000 There is no more hostility. 00:10:57.000 --> 00:11:00.000 Come, come and see me. 00:11:00.000 --> 00:11:04.000 And the last one is a release of blueprints for the building of the kingdom. 00:11:04.000 --> 00:11:06.000 What happened on that mountain up there? 00:11:06.000 --> 00:11:09.000 Here was Moses and he's getting downloads of blueprints. 00:11:09.000 --> 00:11:11.000 Hey, build the tabernacle this way. 00:11:11.000 --> 00:11:13.000 Make the priest's headgear this way. 00:11:13.000 --> 00:11:15.000 Oh, by the way, this is what happens when you do this. 00:11:15.000 --> 00:11:17.000 And by the way, this is how you construct this. 00:11:17.000 --> 00:11:19.000 You get blueprints for the entire kingdom. 00:11:19.000 --> 00:11:24.000 I want to say to you that this is not a one-time experience. 00:11:24.000 --> 00:11:27.000 This is not a one-time experience. 00:11:27.000 --> 00:11:30.000 Sure, the Holy Spirit comes into us and lives in us when we get saved. 00:11:30.000 --> 00:11:36.000 But you need to understand that feasts are types of deliverances and enlargements, 00:11:36.000 --> 00:11:40.000 meaning feasts are types, meaning when God says here is a feast, 00:11:40.000 --> 00:11:44.000 he doesn't mean, okay, guys, you now need to go and celebrate Pentecost 00:11:44.000 --> 00:11:46.000 by bringing your grain and new wine and oil. 00:11:46.000 --> 00:11:49.000 No, no, he's saying, Jacob, a feast is a type. 00:11:49.000 --> 00:11:51.000 What happened at this feast? 00:11:51.000 --> 00:11:54.000 At this feast, I brought deliverance to people. 00:11:54.000 --> 00:11:55.000 What do you mean deliverance? 00:11:55.000 --> 00:11:58.000 Guys, you're talking about a people who have been slaves for how many years? 00:11:58.000 --> 00:12:00.000 400 years. 00:12:00.000 --> 00:12:02.000 What is God giving these laws for? 00:12:02.000 --> 00:12:04.000 So that their thinking can be changed. 00:12:04.000 --> 00:12:08.000 He's bringing them out of Egypt, out of slavery, into liberty. 00:12:08.000 --> 00:12:10.000 What do you think he did in Acts chapter 2? 00:12:11.000 --> 00:12:17.000 He's bringing us out of slavery into liberty. 00:12:17.000 --> 00:12:20.000 This is a type today if you want. 00:12:20.000 --> 00:12:24.000 And remember, every word that is spoken has to come with Hebrews, 00:12:24.000 --> 00:12:27.000 how it says in Hebrews, today if you hear the word. 00:12:27.000 --> 00:12:31.000 So even as I'm speaking, I'm saying to you, today if you hear the word, 00:12:31.000 --> 00:12:36.000 harden not your heart, harden not your heart. 00:12:36.000 --> 00:12:41.000 Today these things can begin to happen for each of us individually and for Acts 29. 00:12:41.000 --> 00:12:46.000 Where once again, I become new. 00:12:46.000 --> 00:12:50.000 Once again, God opens heavens and gives me a glimpse, gives Acts 29 a glimpse. 00:12:50.000 --> 00:12:52.000 It's going to happen on Tuesday. 00:12:52.000 --> 00:12:54.000 Once again, there's a new anointing on me. 00:12:54.000 --> 00:12:56.000 What does that mean, more of Christ? 00:12:56.000 --> 00:12:59.000 No, a greater revelation of Christ that I come to recognize. 00:12:59.000 --> 00:13:03.000 Once again, come Jacob, come. 00:13:03.000 --> 00:13:05.000 Catch a new glimpse of me. 00:13:05.000 --> 00:13:09.000 Again, let me show you how to build your life and how to build Acts 29. 00:13:09.000 --> 00:13:13.000 So today, do not harden your heart, hearken to the word. 00:13:17.000 --> 00:13:22.000 Because at the end of the day, guys, Pentecost is liberty. 00:13:22.000 --> 00:13:24.000 What used to happen in the 50th year? 00:13:24.000 --> 00:13:29.000 In the 50th year, all systems would be dismantled, debts would be canceled. 00:13:29.000 --> 00:13:33.000 It was the year of Jubilee. 00:13:33.000 --> 00:13:37.000 Slaves would be liberated. 00:13:37.000 --> 00:13:40.000 Inheritances would be returned. 00:13:40.000 --> 00:13:42.000 That's what's happening with her today. 00:13:42.000 --> 00:13:44.000 Her inheritance is being returned to her. 00:13:44.000 --> 00:13:46.000 This was what she was born for. 00:13:46.000 --> 00:13:50.000 And God is saying, here, giving you back your inheritance. 00:13:50.000 --> 00:13:52.000 That was the whole idea of the 50th. 00:13:52.000 --> 00:13:57.000 What does Pentecost mean, 50th? 00:13:57.000 --> 00:14:00.000 The whole idea of Pentecost is liberty, guys. 00:14:00.000 --> 00:14:02.000 Liberty, coming into greater freedom. 00:14:02.000 --> 00:14:07.000 So today, do not harden your heart, for here is the chance for us to enter into greater freedom. 00:14:14.000 --> 00:14:19.000 Isn't it natural then that the Spirit of God should be associated with Pentecost?
