Agree, agree we said agree understand practice agree that his name is Yahweh Rafa agree with God 00:09:13.240 --> 00:09:17.240 That his title that the title he gave himself is Yahweh Rafa 00:09:17.240 --> 00:09:26.240 To come into agreement saying you know father regardless of the pains in my body regardless of what may be happening in different organs 00:09:26.240 --> 00:09:35.240 I agree that your title a title that you self gave yourself because no one can give you titles is Yahweh Rafa 00:09:35.240 --> 00:09:42.240 As in God my healer agree that he is not neutral in the midst of your sickness 00:09:42.240 --> 00:09:47.240 We talk about these points and this refreshing your mind with them 00:09:47.240 --> 00:09:55.240 We sometimes we struggle with the thought that God is perhaps not God is surely not against me but you're not convinced he's for you 00:09:55.240 --> 00:09:59.240 And in the middle of pain it's so hard to think why can't God just make it go away 00:09:59.240 --> 00:10:04.240 But understand that he's never neutral in the middle of your sickness 00:10:04.240 --> 00:10:11.240 Even when you're bitter he's still for you in your sickness but he's never neutral in the middle of your sickness 00:10:11.240 --> 00:10:19.240 Because the place he reveals his title is Yahweh Rafa is at the waters of Mara and Mara means bitterness 00:10:19.240 --> 00:10:23.240 That's where he reveals his name 00:10:23.240 --> 00:10:29.240 Agree that sickness is not his will in heaven and therefore not his will on earth 00:10:29.240 --> 00:10:37.240 Let me say that again agree that sickness is not his will in heaven 00:10:37.240 --> 00:10:39.240 It is not his will 00:10:39.240 --> 00:10:50.240 Matthew 16 whatsoever you permit legitimize lose in heaven is what can be permitted legitimized and lose here on earth 00:10:50.240 --> 00:10:55.240 Matthew chapter 11 our father who art in heaven hallowed be your name 00:10:55.240 --> 00:11:01.240 Your kingdom come meaning your rule and reign come your will be done on earth as it is in heaven 00:11:02.240 --> 00:11:09.240 Agree that sickness is not his will in heaven therefore it is not his will on earth 00:11:09.240 --> 00:11:15.240 So do we have sickness around us obviously everyone has been through it 00:11:15.240 --> 00:11:24.240 But is this his will in heaven no and therefore it's not his will on earth 00:11:24.240 --> 00:11:28.240 As it is in heaven 00:11:28.240 --> 00:11:32.240 Understand guys that he's filled with compassion towards me when I'm sick 00:11:32.240 --> 00:11:35.240 Understand that he's filled with compassion 00:11:35.240 --> 00:11:44.240 It's never punishment God does not punish he disciplines he does not punish and why doesn't he punish because he punished Jesus 00:11:44.240 --> 00:11:50.240 Jesus was my atoning sacrifice atonement means one that takes the wrath that's due me 00:11:50.240 --> 00:11:53.240 God does not punish he disciplines 00:11:53.240 --> 00:12:00.240 But know that in sickness God is compassionate towards me and when you're in pain and you're hurting and everything in you is screaming and saying 00:12:00.240 --> 00:12:10.240 How come you're not doing anything in the middle of that anger and that agony sometimes you got to remember that this God is compassionate to me in my sickness 00:12:10.240 --> 00:12:19.240 And it is his compassion that provokes him to heal more than power it is his compassion that provokes him to heal more than power 00:12:19.240 --> 00:12:22.240 It is his compassion that provokes him to heal 00:12:27.240 --> 00:12:36.240 Understand that it was through Jesus and by Jesus stripes that healing is now a benefit that I can 00:12:36.240 --> 00:12:40.240 What's that word? 00:12:40.240 --> 00:12:46.240 Grasp appropriate 00:12:46.240 --> 00:12:56.240 Know that it was through Jesus's punishment and stripes and by Jesus's stripes that I on earth can now appropriate 00:12:56.240 --> 00:13:03.240 Appropriate healing why do I use the word appropriate healing because it is not even something I have to ask for 00:13:03.240 --> 00:13:11.240 It is something I have to take I have to make mine it is not even do you go and ask your ATM machine for cash 00:13:11.240 --> 00:13:20.240 Could you give me some money? No, no, no, you go and take the money because it is now yours through Jesus's death and punishment 00:13:20.240 --> 00:13:25.240 Healing has become something that I can appropriate 00:13:26.240 --> 00:13:35.240 God the healer through the stripes laid on Christ has made healing a benefit of his death that is now put in my bank account 00:13:35.240 --> 00:13:40.240 Which I can now appropriate in the name and by the stripes that Jesus bore 00:13:40.240 --> 00:14:00.240 Understand that my experience or Paul's experience or Job's experience still does not diminish or interpret what God said about himself 00:14:00.240 --> 00:14:16.240 Let me say that again understand that neither my experience nor Paul's experience nor Job's experience either diminishes or interprets what God has clearly said about himself as healer 00:14:16.240 --> 00:14:24.240 So does that mean Jacob that you throw Paul's thorn in the flesh out and throw Job's condition out and throw Timothy's stomach problems out 00:14:24.240 --> 00:14:29.240 No, it means I interpret them in the light of what God has said about himself 00:14:34.240 --> 00:14:41.240 I must do that scripture has to be taken in its tapestry in its entirety in all that God reveals about himself 00:14:41.240 --> 00:14:50.240 There's a thing in scripture called the principle of first mention and the principle of first mention is where God establishes who he is in certain areas by revealing something about him 00:14:50.240 --> 00:14:54.240 And now that I know he's revealed himself this way now I begin to see everything else 00:14:54.240 --> 00:15:00.240 I mean we do it here on earth when we do research we have something called a control is that was it called 00:15:00.240 --> 00:15:04.240 Where you have something that's not changeable and then you control yeah 00:15:04.240 --> 00:15:11.240 God is this control his word is this control specimen that we measure everything against 00:15:11.240 --> 00:15:18.240 Understand that Jesus loves healing and he healed all who came to him 00:15:18.240 --> 00:15:28.240 But Jacob there are so many that I hear you I even agree with you but this I know that Jesus loved healing and he healed everybody that came to him 00:15:28.240 --> 00:15:39.240 Guys he's a visible representation or representer of this eternal invisible healing God who is father 00:15:39.240 --> 00:15:44.240 Jesus is the visible representation or re-presenter 00:15:44.240 --> 00:15:50.240 He re-presents once again the invisible epiphany of God 00:15:50.240 --> 00:16:02.240 Representation or re-presenter he re-presents once again the invisible eternal healing God that we believe in who happens to be a father 00:16:02.240 --> 00:16:08.240 He is re-presented and represented by Jesus Christ who is this visible image 00:16:08.240 --> 00:16:31.240 And understand that just as in Genesis 1 1 and 1 2 the Holy Spirit is raring rubbing his hands and glee as he waits to undo the chaos of sickness and restore wholeness and shallowness into a situation as you begin to speak 00:16:31.240 --> 00:16:41.240 Genesis 1 1 and 1 2 are so vital to this whole idea of bringing order and shallowness or wholeness into chaotic situations 00:16:41.240 --> 00:16:52.240 Because as God spoke the Spirit of God who was hovering over this chaotic vain empty place began to bring order and wholeness 00:16:52.240 --> 00:17:01.240 And so who speaks now? We speak as we hear God speaking and bring order and wholeness and shallowness into a situation 00:17:01.240 --> 00:17:06.240 Spirit of God is still doing it but that is not my experience 00:17:06.240 --> 00:17:20.240 I would like to respond rudely by saying who cares and I won't so instead I'll say but I understand your experience may be different but God does not work like that 00:17:20.240 --> 00:17:27.240 God is not confined or restrained by your experience 00:17:27.240 --> 00:17:34.240 I cannot interpret and define God according to my experience, your experience, Paul's experience, Job's experience 00:17:34.240 --> 00:17:41.240 Cannot because he defines himself and he says I can't swear by anyone else 00:17:41.240 --> 00:17:45.240 Any questions before we go on? 00:17:45.240 --> 00:17:50.240 And if you have any questions may it not start with a but because I've already rebutted the but 00:17:58.240 --> 00:18:07.240 Any questions? My experience defines what God says, how He will do and what will happen 00:19:39.240 --> 00:19:47.240 What's living out of sovereignty? I live out of this place where my thought is if God will, He will, if He doesn't, He won't 00:19:47.240 --> 00:19:51.240 That's not a wrong place but it's an incomplete, a very incomplete place 00:19:51.240 --> 00:19:54.900 complete place. And then there's a third place I live out of which is the 00:19:54.900 --> 00:19:59.800 knowledge of God where I know who he is and what he's going to do based simply 00:19:59.800 --> 00:20:05.400 on what he speaks and says and has repeated again and again and again and 00:20:05.400 --> 00:20:11.320 again and again. carrying the wrong way my arm got twisted like this and I couldn't move 00:22:26.760 --> 00:22:32.920 this arm so for the next five hours in Frankfurt I was holding this arm 00:22:32.920 --> 00:22:38.600 carefully not leaning against I couldn't even button my shirt together 00:22:38.600 --> 00:22:46.000 because any pain any strength here would begin to bother my arm and I don't know
