00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:06.320
We're going to talk about all manner of prayer today and where do I get with all manner of prayer from?

00:00:06.320 --> 00:00:08.480
Wayne, am I good to go? Yeah.

00:00:08.480 --> 00:00:12.640
It's from Ephesians 6.18 where at one point it says,

00:00:12.640 --> 00:00:20.560
pray at all times in the Spirit and then in some versions it says with all prayer,

00:00:20.560 --> 00:00:23.520
in other versions it says with all manner of prayer.

00:00:23.520 --> 00:00:27.440
So we're going to talk about different forms of prayer,

00:00:27.520 --> 00:00:30.160
not different ways to pray but different forms of prayer,

00:00:30.160 --> 00:00:35.680
some of the forms of prayer which I'm finding can be so helpful to us man.

00:00:35.680 --> 00:00:41.760
And so what is expected is that we learn these forms as in like she's saying,

00:00:41.760 --> 00:00:49.360
receive this spiritual food, learn it and then cultivate it and then regurgitate it and teach others

00:00:49.920 --> 00:00:53.280
and then be led by the Spirit into different forms of prayer,

00:00:53.280 --> 00:00:55.760
sometimes all of them in a day, sometimes one of them in a week,

00:00:56.480 --> 00:01:02.560
regardless. And in Acts chapter 2 verse 42 it actually says that the early church

00:01:02.560 --> 00:01:05.520
had these four pillars that they operated by.

00:01:05.520 --> 00:01:11.200
It says and the disciples continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine,

00:01:12.240 --> 00:01:18.880
in fellowship, in breaking of bread and in prayers, not even prayed and in prayers.

00:01:19.840 --> 00:01:22.480
So we're going to examine different forms of prayer.

00:01:22.480 --> 00:01:30.560
And so the first one is apostolic prayers, apostolic prayers, apostolic prayers,

00:01:34.400 --> 00:01:35.600
apostolic prayers.

00:01:37.360 --> 00:01:47.280
Guys as much as apostolic prayers some people say are those that were prayed by the apostles,

00:01:47.600 --> 00:01:52.960
are those that were prayed by the apostles, I would suggest that we view apostolic prayers

00:01:53.600 --> 00:01:58.640
as prayers that cause you to break through into new places in God.

00:02:00.320 --> 00:02:06.400
Most people call prayers that were prayed by apostles Paul, Peter and a couple of others,

00:02:06.960 --> 00:02:09.680
they call it apostolic prayers because the apostles prayed it.

00:02:09.680 --> 00:02:13.360
So had there been teachers, we'd have ended up calling them teachers prayers.

00:02:13.360 --> 00:02:19.120
But the point is we should view these prayers as apostolic, not because apostles prayed it,

00:02:19.120 --> 00:02:24.960
but that may be part of the reason, but view them as prayers that cause you to break through

00:02:24.960 --> 00:02:28.480
into new places in God. So let's look at two examples, Ephesians 1,

00:02:29.200 --> 00:02:38.960
Ephesians 1, 18 and 19. Ephesians 1, 18 and 19. Ephesians 1, 18 and 19.

00:02:44.080 --> 00:02:48.400
And when we read this we usually skip it because it almost seems like Paul can never

00:02:48.400 --> 00:02:54.880
speak in short sentences. So Ephesians 1, at least when he speaks English he can't. Ephesians 1,

00:02:55.520 --> 00:03:02.400
how's it in Greek? Does he speak even longer in Greek? Yeah, so many questions I have for Paul when I get

00:03:04.800 --> 00:03:11.360
Ephesians 1, 18 and 19. Having the eyes of your heart enlightened that you may know

00:03:12.160 --> 00:03:18.000
what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the

00:03:18.000 --> 00:03:24.400
saints and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power towards us who believe according to the

00:03:24.400 --> 00:03:30.160
working of his great might that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him

00:03:30.160 --> 00:03:34.000
at the right hand in the heavenly places. And there's a comma after that so we'll stop there.

00:03:34.640 --> 00:03:52.000
The point being guys that Paul says ask for spiritual eyesight. How often do we do that?

00:03:52.000 --> 00:03:59.920
Not very often surprisingly. Ask for spiritual eyesight. That's one of the prayers that this

00:03:59.920 --> 00:04:05.600
church should begin to cultivate. That father, I come this morning and I ask for spiritual eyesight

00:04:05.600 --> 00:04:16.400
as in may the eyes of my heart be flooded with light.

00:04:17.680 --> 00:04:25.280
May the eyes of my heart be flooded with light. May the eyes of my heart be flooded with light.

00:04:25.280 --> 00:04:30.320
And what kind of light are we talking about? Very simple guys. May the eyes of my heart be

00:04:30.320 --> 00:04:39.440
flooded with light. What light? The light of revelation. The light of revelation.

00:04:41.760 --> 00:04:47.600
This is supposed to be a legitimate prayer that the church or you are supposed to make. I mean

00:04:47.600 --> 00:04:50.880
look at 2nd Corinthians 4.6. 2nd Corinthians 4.6.

00:04:55.200 --> 00:04:59.600
You know I still am always amazed that we have a

00:04:59.600 --> 00:05:03.840
Sunday school happening. For years man we didn't have anything like that.

00:05:05.280 --> 00:05:06.720
2nd Corinthians 4.6.

00:05:06.720 --> 00:05:33.120
Let me read that again.

00:05:33.280 --> 00:05:37.520
What's Paul trying to say there? He's trying to say guys he's taking you back to Genesis and he's

00:05:37.520 --> 00:05:43.600
saying remember when everything was dark and God said let there be light and light shown in the

00:05:43.600 --> 00:05:51.120
darkness. He's saying we need to begin to operate according to how God used to. Where you ask God

00:05:51.120 --> 00:05:58.240
Father could you flood the eyes of my heart with light of revelation. What does the light of

00:05:58.240 --> 00:06:03.760
revelation do guys? It gives us greater knowledge of God. That's what it does. Begin to ask for it.

00:06:03.760 --> 00:06:10.960
Begin to ask for it. Light that illuminates God. Light that illuminates God. And why do you need

00:06:10.960 --> 00:06:29.200
to do that? Three reasons why we need to do that. One, you will see exactly what he is calling you to.

00:06:29.200 --> 00:06:44.960
Two, you will grasp. This is according to Ephesians 1.18 and 19. You will grasp the.

00:06:45.920 --> 00:06:46.320
And.

00:06:49.360 --> 00:06:51.920
Ben, don't you get too excited. You're overpowering it.

00:06:55.280 --> 00:06:56.720
Just comes up in the middle of the sermon.

00:07:01.120 --> 00:07:10.720
Thanks man. You will grasp the immensity. You will grasp the immensity of the way of life that awaits you.

00:07:15.440 --> 00:07:19.680
And third, you will know

00:07:23.200 --> 00:07:33.680
the immeasurable, unlimited, demonstrated

00:07:36.800 --> 00:07:41.600
power of God in you.

00:07:45.120 --> 00:07:53.360
Yeah. Okay. So here's how we're working this equation. Apostolic prayers, Ephesians 1.18 and 19,

00:07:53.360 --> 00:07:59.600
Colossians 2.9. We'll go to that. And what are we supposed to ask? We are asking God for spiritual

00:07:59.600 --> 00:08:05.600
eyesight. What is spiritual eyesight? We are saying, oh God may my eyes, may the eyes of my heart be

00:08:05.600 --> 00:08:14.480
flooded with light. Why? Because I, what kind of light? The light of revelation. Why? So that I might

00:08:15.120 --> 00:08:22.160
see exactly what I'm called to. So that I might grasp the immensity of the way of life I've been

00:08:22.160 --> 00:08:29.200
called to. Man, if someone told me in 1988 of the kind of life that awaited me as a Christian,

00:08:30.400 --> 00:08:37.200
I would have said no way. It is the coolest thing that can happen to a human being.

00:08:39.040 --> 00:08:40.560
And so many years left, man.

00:08:40.560 --> 00:08:46.080
You've only just begun. The immensity of the kind of life that he's calling you to. And the third

00:08:46.080 --> 00:08:52.000
reason is you will know the immeasurable, unlimited, demonstrated power of God in you.

00:08:52.560 --> 00:08:57.280
That's what Paul is saying. Therefore, he says, don't you want to know all these things? Therefore,

00:08:57.280 --> 00:09:04.640
Paul says to the church in Corinth, guys, ask for spiritual, ask for spiritual eyesight. Ask that the

00:09:04.960 --> 00:09:09.680
ask for spiritual eyesight. Ask that the eyes of your heart be flooded with light.

00:09:10.560 --> 00:09:17.520
Same thing he does in Colossians 1.9. Go to Colossians 1.9. Matt, am I good? Colossians 1.9.

00:09:20.880 --> 00:09:25.200
Colossians is after Philippians. Colossians 1.9.

00:09:25.200 --> 00:09:37.120
And it says, and so from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be

00:09:37.120 --> 00:09:44.960
filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk

00:09:44.960 --> 00:09:52.000
in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing

00:09:52.000 --> 00:09:54.720
in the knowledge of God. That's one of the shortest sentences Paul has written.

00:09:57.760 --> 00:10:02.400
The point being, guys, in Colossians 1.9, he changes it. In Colossians 1.9, he says, guys,

00:10:02.400 --> 00:10:10.480
pray, pray Marcus, pray Jacob, pray Chris, that your mind and your will is attuned to God.

00:10:11.120 --> 00:10:19.280
What a prayer man. Father, can my mind and my will now be attuned to you? Why? Very simple. So that

00:10:19.840 --> 00:10:25.840
I learn how God works and when I do that, I'll learn how to work here on earth.

00:10:27.360 --> 00:10:32.240
Attune my mind and will to you, Father, this morning because once I know how you work,

00:10:33.040 --> 00:10:38.800
I'll do the work that's given to me here on earth well. That's one reason. Second reason,

00:10:39.760 --> 00:10:47.680
Father, once I attune my mind and will to you, I will persist in what I do with strength and joy.

00:10:47.680 --> 00:10:55.120
I will persist in what I do with strength and joy. Boy, do I need it. I was just at one

00:10:55.120 --> 00:11:02.640
at 1.15 last night, I was just thinking to myself that at present I'm doing six sermons a week

00:11:06.560 --> 00:11:13.040
and I'm really enjoying it and I'm thinking to myself, I hope that it is like that eight months

00:11:13.040 --> 00:11:24.240
from now too. And when I pray like this, where I attune my mind and will to God, he gives me the

00:11:24.240 --> 00:11:30.960
ability to persist with strength and joy in the things he's appointed me to because when I begin

00:11:30.960 --> 00:11:39.440
to see how he works, I begin to work a certain way here on earth. Be it sermons or be it helping

00:11:39.440 --> 00:11:46.720
people in the hospital or be it teaching people at school. Different things that we've been appointed to.

00:11:51.120 --> 00:11:57.920
Guys, on one hand, pray apostolic prayers and then there's another way these same benefits

00:11:57.920 --> 00:12:03.200
can be yours, which I was so surprised to see. I kind of knew it but I didn't know the connection.

00:12:03.280 --> 00:12:10.080
These very benefits that I've just asked that we pray for also come into your life

00:12:10.080 --> 00:12:16.800
when you are connected to the apostolic intimately. So on one hand, you have these apostolic prayers

00:12:16.800 --> 00:12:26.240
that you pray on a daily basis but to root it or to found it or to anchor it also be connected

00:12:26.240 --> 00:12:33.520
intimately to the apostolic and you will see these things founded, cemented, rooted. Go to

00:12:33.520 --> 00:12:43.200
Ephesians 3 verse 1 to 11. Ephesians 3 verses 1 to 11. Ephesians 3 1 to 11. Fascinating scripture, man.

00:12:47.600 --> 00:12:54.160
Ready? Here goes. For this reason, I, Paul, a prisoner for Christ Jesus, on behalf of you gentiles,

00:12:54.720 --> 00:13:00.320
assuming that you've heard of the stewardship of God, the stewardship of God's grace that was given

00:13:00.320 --> 00:13:09.040
to me, for whom? For you. How the mystery was made known to me by what? By revelation, as I have written

00:13:09.040 --> 00:13:15.120
briefly. When you read this, you can perceive my insight into the mystery of Christ, which was made

00:13:15.120 --> 00:13:20.240
known to the sons of men in other generations, as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and

00:13:20.240 --> 00:13:25.840
prophets by the Spirit. This mystery is that the gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body

00:13:25.840 --> 00:13:31.760
and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel. Of this gospel, what was I made? I

00:13:31.760 --> 00:13:37.280
was made a minister. According to what? According to the gift of God's grace, which was given me by

00:13:37.280 --> 00:13:43.840
the working of his power. To me, though I am the very least of the saints, this grace was given to

00:13:43.840 --> 00:13:50.000
preach to the gentiles, the unsearchable riches of Christ and to bring to light the whole thing

00:13:50.000 --> 00:13:54.720
again. For everyone, what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all

00:13:54.720 --> 00:13:59.760
things so that through the church, the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the

00:13:59.760 --> 00:14:04.960
rulers and authorities in heavenly places. Guys, what Paul is saying is, on one hand, pray this

00:14:04.960 --> 00:14:10.080
prayer, ask for spiritual insight. On the other hand, be founded, be rooted, be cemented in this

00:14:10.160 --> 00:14:16.400
by connecting to apostolic grace. I've seen it in my life, man. I've seen what's happened because

00:14:16.400 --> 00:14:23.840
I connected to Mike Scantleberry and Eddie. You know why Telios is so different from other Bible

00:14:23.840 --> 00:14:32.480
schools? Because of the apostolic input that is in Telios. Connect to apostolic grace and the very

00:14:32.480 --> 00:14:39.840
things that we will be asking in prayer will be cemented, rooted, founded. It's like you learning

00:14:40.560 --> 00:14:44.640
how to be a nurse and that's great. You've learned everything. You asked your professor and the

00:14:44.640 --> 00:14:49.680
professor taught you everything. But now what happens is as soon as you go to VGH, one lady

00:14:49.680 --> 00:14:58.560
with specs will come out and her name is Heidi Rose Schmidt and they'll say she is going to now

00:14:58.640 --> 00:15:06.000
found what you have learned and so you become an apprentice learning from a person who's doing

00:15:06.000 --> 00:15:09.680
the same thing that you're doing but has done it for a few years more.

00:15:13.280 --> 00:15:20.080
Oh, percepting. Yeah, so that's how it works. Any questions, guys? Any questions on this?

00:15:20.800 --> 00:15:30.240
Any questions? Cool. Next one. So guys, here's what I suggest. Anne and Anne, as in both the Anne's,

00:15:31.280 --> 00:15:38.400
you can write tiny lines if you want on these different prayers on Facebook as you see fit.

00:15:39.040 --> 00:15:44.240
Just like we did with the other things. Remember the whole heart attitude. You don't have to take

00:15:44.240 --> 00:15:49.200
turns. If you send something, just put it up on Facebook. If you have anything else you want to

00:15:49.200 --> 00:15:55.120
add to these different kinds of prayers. Okay, so Anne and Anne will do it. Okay, priestly prayers.

00:15:55.120 --> 00:16:02.480
That's the next thing. Priestly prayers. I mean, if you want to see a priestly prayer, go to John 17

00:16:02.480 --> 00:16:06.400
and read the whole chapter and you'll see it's called the high priestly prayer where Jesus prays

00:16:06.800 --> 00:16:11.840
priestly. Priestly prayers. John 17 is a sample. So here are four elements of a priestly prayer.

00:16:11.840 --> 00:16:21.840
One, guys, model a lifestyle that is that is consecrated to God. If you want to pray priestly

00:16:21.840 --> 00:16:27.360
prayers, then you have to pray a priestly prayer. So, let's say you're praying a prayer for Jesus.

00:16:27.520 --> 00:16:36.320
Model a lifestyle that is that is consecrated to God. If you want to pray priestly prayers,

00:16:36.880 --> 00:16:44.880
you have to model a lifestyle that is consecrated to God because those prayers then have quite an

00:16:44.880 --> 00:16:52.240
effect because the Bible says the fervent prayers offer righteous man. There is a need to separate

00:16:52.880 --> 00:17:00.480
and consecrate myself to God and this is what Jesus says in John 17 19. In John 17 19, he puts

00:17:00.480 --> 00:17:04.640
it this way. He's talking to his father. He's praying for his disciples and he says this.

00:17:04.640 --> 00:17:11.840
I am consecrating myself for their sakes. Look at that. Look at that man. I am consecrating myself

00:17:11.840 --> 00:17:20.000
for their sakes so that they will be consecrated in their mission. I'm consecrating myself for

00:17:20.080 --> 00:17:24.960
their sakes so that they will be consecrated in their mission. I met with a dad yesterday

00:17:24.960 --> 00:17:32.400
and his son. They're not from this church and the dad was telling me I was talking to my son and

00:17:32.400 --> 00:17:39.760
telling him not to lie and as I was telling him that he shouldn't lie, I realized that there are

00:17:39.760 --> 00:17:47.680
lies in my life and I decided that before I tell my son again not to lie, I better stop lying so

00:17:47.680 --> 00:17:54.480
that I set myself aside as a man who speaks the truth so my son can learn from it. You

00:17:54.480 --> 00:18:00.400
consecrate yourself so that you can help others walk a consecrated life. So priestly prayers require

00:18:00.400 --> 00:18:08.640
that where your lifestyle is separated and distinctly God fashioned. Second, priests

00:18:09.360 --> 00:18:17.600
or priestly prayers should have empathy because priests shared commonality with who they

00:18:17.600 --> 00:18:24.800
represented. Hebrews 5.1. It says in Hebrews 5.1 that a priest was always chosen from among men.

00:18:25.680 --> 00:18:33.440
Hebrews 2.17. Hebrews 2.17 it says and Jesus had to come down as man so he can share our weaknesses

00:18:33.520 --> 00:18:39.760
so that he can be merciful. So in priestly prayers one of the things you need to cultivate is empathy

00:18:41.840 --> 00:18:49.120
where you empathize not sympathy not pity empathy. Empathy means not saying oh

00:18:49.120 --> 00:18:54.320
sorry oh poor Lin, poor Lin, not like that but knowing how you feel and being able to connect.

00:18:55.040 --> 00:19:00.720
Empathize. So that's an important part of priestly prayers and not to be like Job's friends.

00:19:01.600 --> 00:19:04.320
Man those guys empathize for seven days and then they rip the guy apart.

00:19:07.120 --> 00:19:14.240
So not like that. So empathy is vital. The third thing in priestly prayers guys and where does

00:19:14.240 --> 00:19:20.400
this apply when you pray for somebody else? When you pray for somebody else. One make sure that you

00:19:21.040 --> 00:19:27.840
have a consecrated lifestyle as you pray for someone else. Two empathize. Three guys

00:19:28.160 --> 00:19:35.680
three guys. Priests were supposed to offer gifts and sacrifices to God on behalf of man.

00:19:37.120 --> 00:19:43.600
Malachi 2 verses 5 to 7 outlines three qualities a priest would have. A priest would be a messenger

00:19:43.600 --> 00:19:53.360
for God. A priest would guard the knowledge of God in his lips meaning he would keep the knowledge

00:19:53.360 --> 00:19:59.520
of God pure on his lips. And three people would come around priests to seek instruction.

00:20:01.680 --> 00:20:10.160
So even as you start praying for people know that you don't intercede according to their need

00:20:10.160 --> 00:20:18.240
you intercede according to God's will for them. I loved what happened here last week.

00:20:18.240 --> 00:20:23.200
I'd spoken to Maurice and Renita about their house. I told them to come and talk about it.

00:20:23.920 --> 00:20:29.760
I called them up for prayer and as they're standing here I'm saying to you as the church

00:20:29.760 --> 00:20:36.000
guys they have a Feb 22nd date the house needs to be sold by then otherwise they won't have

00:20:36.000 --> 00:20:42.000
money for the months ahead. And I remember Marcus shouting from the back and Sue shouting from the

00:20:42.000 --> 00:20:49.200
back and Sue shouting from the front that their source or resources don't come from whether the

00:20:49.200 --> 00:20:56.080
house is sold or not. Their resources come from God who is provider and that's what she said today

00:20:56.080 --> 00:21:00.640
during the time of worship that she said I heard God saying he's a creator of

00:21:02.720 --> 00:21:10.400
sorry maker of heaven and earth supplier of all my needs and I was telling you to pray

00:21:11.040 --> 00:21:19.120
that their house sells and money comes and you instead of praying that way came up with the

00:21:19.120 --> 00:21:26.000
idea that it's not the house that provides for them it is God who provides for them and then you

00:21:26.000 --> 00:21:32.160
guys prayed I think three of you prayed that way that's called interceding as God wants not

00:21:32.160 --> 00:21:38.640
interceding according to need. Very often when we intercede we intercede according to the needs of

00:21:38.640 --> 00:21:46.320
people we empathize with their needs but we intercede as God directs. This is why in Malachi

00:21:46.320 --> 00:21:52.240
too it said I made a covenant with the sons of Levi as priests that instruction may be sought

00:21:52.240 --> 00:21:58.320
from them that the knowledge of God may be guarded by their lips and that they be messengers of God

00:21:58.320 --> 00:22:05.520
that's what priestly prayers are like. And then the fourth part of priestly prayers guys is

00:22:05.520 --> 00:22:13.760
is this amazing scripture in first John 5 16 17 first John 5 16 17 and here's what it says

00:22:14.480 --> 00:22:25.920
if anyone sees his brother committing a sin that does not lead to death you will pray and God will

00:22:25.920 --> 00:22:33.440
give him life and he will grant life to all those whose sin is not one leading to death.

00:22:35.120 --> 00:22:37.840
I've read that before but I can't remember the last time

00:22:40.080 --> 00:22:45.920
I did it in the last one year where someone is sinning and the sin is obvious and God is saying

00:22:45.920 --> 00:22:52.080
hey did you see Elmer sinning so here's what you need to do Jacob start praying to God for Elmer

00:22:52.640 --> 00:22:59.520
and God will give him life if it is not a sin that leads to death.

00:23:02.000 --> 00:23:08.240
What a quick way of helping people out of sinful situations man first John 5 16 17 it cannot be

00:23:08.240 --> 00:23:13.120
clear that there's no Greek needed there if you see Jacob sinning pray for Jacob and God will give

00:23:13.120 --> 00:23:19.360
him life as in God will cause decay to go away because decay comes with sin and instead give him

00:23:19.360 --> 00:23:24.160
life priestly prayer we don't have to take sin offerings now we send

00:23:25.280 --> 00:23:30.320
the incense of prayer first John 5 16 and 17 use it intervene.

00:23:36.720 --> 00:23:39.760
I pictured this in my mind where I would say this and

00:23:40.480 --> 00:23:48.320
I thought either James or you will ask it so James isn't here so I already had the answer ready

00:23:49.520 --> 00:24:00.800
so yeah Matt life is unfair sometimes hey guys one of the sins that leads to death is 1st

00:24:00.800 --> 00:24:06.800
Corinthians 11 30 where where the Bible says that when you do not discern the body as when

00:24:06.800 --> 00:24:13.360
you do not recognize each other when you do not discern the body it says some of you fall ill and

00:24:14.320 --> 00:24:18.320
die so that's one sin that leads to death another sin that leads to death is

00:24:19.920 --> 00:24:33.360
1st Corinthians 11 30 and then it is almost 11 30 yeah and then the second sin that leads to death

00:24:33.360 --> 00:24:38.160
that we see demonstrated in the Bible is the Ananias Sapphira story in Acts chapter 5

00:24:38.880 --> 00:24:43.040
and I would suggest that the basis for what happened to Ananias and Sapphira is in 1st

00:24:43.040 --> 00:24:48.480
Corinthians 3 17 where it says that if you destroy the temple of God God will destroy you

00:24:50.400 --> 00:24:58.080
nowhere else does it say that eh you and I have no idea how precious this bride or the body of

00:24:58.080 --> 00:25:03.520
Christ is to God and he says if you deliberately go around destroying it with strife with dissension

00:25:03.520 --> 00:25:08.400
with evil with lies with deception then I will destroy you as in I will take you out

00:25:11.120 --> 00:25:18.240
and then another perhaps way of looking at sin leading to death is when someone says he's a

00:25:18.240 --> 00:25:26.000
Christian but practices sin not occasionally sins but has chosen to practice sin which is a rejection

00:25:26.000 --> 00:25:35.200
of everything he said he is a tree shall be known by its fruit so there's a consistent practice of

00:25:35.200 --> 00:25:41.360
sin for years in a man or a woman who says he's a Christian we have the right to question

00:25:44.080 --> 00:25:50.160
because Jesus is not cultivating bonsai trees he's cultivating trees that bear fruit

00:25:51.760 --> 00:25:52.960
not pretty looking trees

00:25:56.000 --> 00:26:07.120
not suggesting it's I would say it's saying it very plainly that when uh it's surprising

00:26:07.120 --> 00:26:11.360
1st Corinthians 11 30 Paul is saying some of you have fallen sick and some of you have died

00:26:11.360 --> 00:26:18.640
because of the strife that you have caused within the body because everything the spirit of God

00:26:18.640 --> 00:26:25.920
represents is to bring the community of Christians together the his body was broken so that we may be

00:26:25.920 --> 00:26:32.880
put together now if that is the work Christ has done and we are disemboweling the work he did

00:26:33.600 --> 00:26:39.520
then it doesn't mean that you may lose your salvation but you will live the rest of your

00:26:39.520 --> 00:26:43.520
life saved in heaven removed from the earth

00:26:43.520 --> 00:26:49.920
I would go and speak to the person and say repent or otherwise as it says in the book of revelation

00:26:50.720 --> 00:26:58.320
I have seen this and this in you repent and the person needs to know repent yeah anytime there's

00:26:58.320 --> 00:27:02.880
this kind of dissension in the body first you go and talk to the person second you take elders and

00:27:02.880 --> 00:27:09.920
go to the person and say I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm

00:27:10.160 --> 00:27:13.440
first you go and talk to the person second you take elders and go to the

00:27:13.440 --> 00:27:16.880
talk to the person third you bring it to the church and fourth if he still doesn't listen

00:27:16.880 --> 00:27:18.640
you treat him like a pariah

00:27:22.320 --> 00:27:27.520
church discipline all of you signed the covenant you didn't know what you were getting into

00:27:29.920 --> 00:27:36.880
third the third type of prayers is supplication guys supplication it sounds like such an archaic

00:27:36.880 --> 00:27:45.120
word supplication and yet supplication carries a sense of petitioning god guys we don't beg god

00:27:45.120 --> 00:27:53.200
if you looked at the song that chris was playing he's our father we don't beg when we beg we

00:27:53.200 --> 00:28:02.080
we undo his fatherhood man I mean my dad was so imperfect but I don't remember begging begging

00:28:02.160 --> 00:28:08.880
seems to say you've got a hard heart and you're not a real father but you can petition god

00:28:08.880 --> 00:28:14.240
and in petitioning sometimes you can cry out to god crying out to god

00:28:16.560 --> 00:28:24.240
it's it's a normal part of praying in jesus's life you saw it in hebrews 5 7 hebrews 5 7 here's what

00:28:24.240 --> 00:28:30.640
it says in the days of his flesh as in when he walked here on earth jesus offered up prayers

00:28:31.200 --> 00:28:40.240
and supplications with what with loud cries and tears to whom to him who was able to save him

00:28:40.240 --> 00:28:46.080
from death and he was heard because of his reverence he was heard because of his reverence

00:28:47.760 --> 00:28:57.040
cry out to god man jesus did it and it depends sometimes we cry out because of sorrow sometimes

00:28:57.040 --> 00:29:04.640
we cry out in need sometimes we cry out in distress jesus cried out at so regardless of

00:29:04.640 --> 00:29:11.360
whether you are at lazarus's tomb or whether you're standing on a mountain overlooking jerusalem

00:29:12.320 --> 00:29:18.000
and it's desolation that awaits you it where jesus cried out saying oh jerusalem oh jerusalem or

00:29:18.000 --> 00:29:23.920
whether you are in agony at gethsemane where this huge thing is confronting you the bible says cry

00:29:24.000 --> 00:29:31.920
out supplications petition fervent prayer that is sometimes expressed with tears sometimes expressed

00:29:31.920 --> 00:29:38.640
on bended knee sometimes expressed with fasting and sometimes expressed with blood what do you

00:29:38.640 --> 00:29:43.600
think was happening to jesus at the garden of gethsemane where the crying out ended up with him

00:29:43.600 --> 00:29:49.280
sweating blood which you and i haven't experienced because the bible says none of you have resisted

00:29:49.280 --> 00:29:58.000
the point of shedding blood but jesus did and then here's the other marvelous thing guys

00:29:58.640 --> 00:30:04.240
where sometimes even in our crying out we don't have words and the holy spirit comes in in romans

00:30:04.240 --> 00:30:13.200
826 it says that the holy spirit groans for you imagine the kind of god we have where he pours

00:30:13.200 --> 00:30:18.240
the spirit into us so that when i run out of words when i don't even know how to express the the

00:30:18.240 --> 00:30:23.760
bible says the holy spirit begins to sigh and groan for you presenting your request before god

00:30:23.760 --> 00:30:28.960
not that you are groaning the spirit of god groans for you the words actually say the spirit himself

00:30:28.960 --> 00:30:37.200
goes to meet our supplication and pleads on our behalf with unspeakable groanings too deep for

00:30:37.760 --> 00:30:40.160
utterance what a god man

00:30:46.320 --> 00:30:52.800
philippians 4 6 says it be anxious about nothing but in everything with prayer and thanksgiving

00:30:52.800 --> 00:30:59.360
make your petitions or your supplication known to god efficient 6 18 talks about it where it says

00:30:59.360 --> 00:31:03.440
bring your petitions to god for yourself and for other saints around you

00:31:07.360 --> 00:31:12.480
sometimes what happens in churches like ours is we get so declarative and prophetic prophetic

00:31:12.480 --> 00:31:17.760
which is very important in terms of prayer that we forget the whole aspect of groaning and crying

00:31:18.560 --> 00:31:28.320
because we get too victorious very what about uh that's part of prayer man i want to recover

00:31:28.320 --> 00:31:34.000
that in my life so how do you do that like what when does that become lying again

00:31:34.960 --> 00:31:37.920
good point very good point and i'll answer it right now matt

00:31:42.880 --> 00:31:49.840
when does it get into whining when guys it's one it comes out of a heart that is reverent

00:31:49.840 --> 00:31:56.320
the bible says and jesus cried but it was with reverence as in there is still respect and awe

00:31:56.320 --> 00:32:02.480
for god so one of the things required is reverence the second thing that is required is a heart that

00:32:02.560 --> 00:32:09.040
trusts god and the third thing required is fervency that does not spill into anger or

00:32:09.040 --> 00:32:16.400
resentment because very often a fervent heart if it is not guarded can spill into anger and

00:32:16.400 --> 00:32:21.360
resentment where you're crying saying how come you're not no that's not the kind of crying we're

00:32:21.360 --> 00:32:26.880
talking about it's not like a childish crying it's a crying that is fervent but it's trusting of god

00:32:26.880 --> 00:32:29.520
and shows him reverence very clearly the scripture talks about that

00:32:33.440 --> 00:32:39.440
uh reverence fervency and trusting god reverence fervency

00:32:41.200 --> 00:32:47.680
it's earnest prayer i've written it this way it is earnest prayer that issues out of a fervent

00:32:47.680 --> 00:32:57.680
trusting heart that reveres god or reveals god it is earnest prayer that issues out of a fervent

00:32:57.680 --> 00:33:00.160
trusting heart that reveals god

00:33:03.840 --> 00:33:04.080
yep

00:33:07.600 --> 00:33:13.360
yeah very good a whining prayer is usually a prayer where he is not father anymore and it comes out

00:33:13.360 --> 00:33:17.040
of the heart of an orphan who feels abandoned well said

00:33:17.040 --> 00:33:27.200
the next one guys is praying in tongues praying in tongues praying in tongues

00:33:28.960 --> 00:33:35.680
first corinthians 14 15 paul says i'll pray with my spirit and i will pray with tongues

00:33:35.680 --> 00:33:38.400
i'll pray with my spirit and i will pray with tongues

00:33:41.120 --> 00:33:49.040
in jude 24 it says build yourself up and pray in the holy spirit so there is

00:33:49.040 --> 00:33:53.280
a form of prayer where you pray with tongues or pray in tongues

00:33:56.320 --> 00:34:04.560
so when you speak in tongues guys you are speaking to god by the spirit and it's a form of prayer

00:34:04.560 --> 00:34:11.360
and it's also a form of praise so when i speak in tongues i'm speaking to god by the power

00:34:12.000 --> 00:34:18.560
empowered by the spirit and i'm speaking praise or prayer and so it's an immediate communing with god

00:34:20.320 --> 00:34:25.840
where your spirit supernaturally empowered by the holy spirit

00:34:27.120 --> 00:34:33.840
enables you to pray it's an immediate communing with god where jacob's spirit supernaturally

00:34:33.840 --> 00:34:41.920
empowered by the holy spirit enables me to pray and the content is outside my understanding

00:34:42.800 --> 00:34:48.240
the content is outside my understanding so why pray this way if it's outside your understanding

00:34:48.960 --> 00:34:56.480
it is perfect prayer because one it bypasses the limitations of my mind it bypasses the limitations

00:34:56.480 --> 00:35:00.560
of my mind why is prayer difficult at times because we don't know how to pray don't know what else to

00:35:00.560 --> 00:35:06.960
say don't know what the will of god is don't know where to go with it it bypasses the limitations of

00:35:06.960 --> 00:35:12.320
my mind so that's one reason i pray in tongues second it is empowered by the holy spirit man

00:35:12.320 --> 00:35:17.040
if there's anyone who should empower me in prayer i'm sure mariana's kids won't mind

00:35:21.120 --> 00:35:23.200
we're not on camera are we no okay

00:35:23.200 --> 00:35:30.560
okay kaila might find you that's okay it's perfect prayer because one it bypasses the limitations of

00:35:30.560 --> 00:35:35.280
my mind two it's empowered by the holy spirit and three guys and this is such a cool reason

00:35:35.840 --> 00:35:43.280
the spirit of god knows the mind of god and so he aligns my prayer with god's will the spirit of god

00:35:44.560 --> 00:35:51.760
knows the mind of god so he aligns my prayer with god's will and so the prayer i'm praying then

00:35:51.760 --> 00:35:58.080
is perfect because it bypasses the limitations of my mind it's aligned with the will of god so the

00:35:58.080 --> 00:36:04.480
prayer i'm praying is perfect so paul says in public i'd rather pray five intelligent intelligible

00:36:04.480 --> 00:36:13.360
words but what do i do now i pray with my mind and i pray with my spirit i do both so that's praying

00:36:13.360 --> 00:36:16.720
in tongues

00:36:18.800 --> 00:36:24.640
it is perfect prayer because one it bypasses the limitations and these are quite nice it

00:36:24.640 --> 00:36:30.720
bypasses the limitations of your mind

00:36:33.040 --> 00:36:39.920
two it is empowered by the holy spirit i mean just think god is the one who's empowering the prayer

00:36:39.920 --> 00:36:47.280
and three it aligns my prayer with the will of god because the holy spirit knows the mind of god

00:36:47.280 --> 00:36:52.640
first corinthians chapter two the holy spirit knows the mind of god and so he aligns this prayer

00:36:52.640 --> 00:36:57.680
that is beyond my understanding with the will of god and i'm praying perfectly

00:37:00.240 --> 00:37:03.280
hey how's it going in there good

00:37:03.280 --> 00:37:07.280
guys i might go a little long today but we'll finish before 12

00:37:09.120 --> 00:37:14.800
the next kind of prayer is worship prayers guys worship prayers worship prayers

00:37:16.400 --> 00:37:18.000
worship prayers

00:37:18.000 --> 00:37:23.520
worship prayers worship prayers worship prayers

00:37:28.240 --> 00:37:37.360
revelation 5 8 revelation 5 8 love love this scripture and when jesus had taken the scroll

00:37:38.880 --> 00:37:45.760
the four living creatures and the 24 elders fell down before the lamb each holding a harp

00:37:46.640 --> 00:37:53.200
and golden bowls full of incense which are the prayers of the saints and they sang a new song

00:37:53.200 --> 00:38:02.080
actually they sang three new songs one of them is unto him who sits on the throne and unto the lamb

00:38:02.080 --> 00:38:10.080
so worship prayers are prayers that issue forth from worship as you lift your eyes to the throne

00:38:10.720 --> 00:38:15.680
the holy spirit begins to show you what is happening around jesus where all the action is

00:38:15.680 --> 00:38:22.800
and you see things from his perspective so next week when we worship corporately and during the

00:38:22.800 --> 00:38:29.840
week when you worship on your own which i suggest we do every now and then during the week may your

00:38:29.840 --> 00:38:37.120
eyes be lifted to the throne and the holy spirit will begin to show you what is happening around

00:38:37.120 --> 00:38:41.360
jesus where all the action is anyways because he is the beginning and the end of everything

00:38:42.480 --> 00:38:48.880
and now prayers begin to issue from you i'm assuming there are some of these points that

00:38:48.880 --> 00:38:57.120
are making you agree with right because it's been great because um you were so loud in your

00:38:57.120 --> 00:39:05.680
agreement i was beginning to scare me you know it is so exciting okay guys so you see things

00:39:05.680 --> 00:39:10.800
from his perspective and now here's what happens guys prayers begin to spring forth

00:39:11.360 --> 00:39:17.200
for instance suddenly prayer of adoration i'm sure it's happened to you where you're walking on the

00:39:17.200 --> 00:39:23.040
dike or you're walking near the airport or you're walking near the mountain and you begin to marvel

00:39:23.040 --> 00:39:28.720
at what you see around you and you're going to praise god it just comes out it bubbles it's a

00:39:28.720 --> 00:39:34.960
prayer of praise what do you think the praise of his what do you think doxologies are doxologies

00:39:34.960 --> 00:39:40.880
are praise of his glory when we say let's have the doxology now what does it mean let's sing

00:39:40.880 --> 00:39:48.080
something to the praise of his glory jude 24 a doxology now unto him who is able to keep us from

00:39:49.040 --> 00:39:55.200
falling and to present us blameless before him be all honor and glory and power where prayers come

00:39:55.200 --> 00:40:01.360
out of you in adoration and remember whenever you adore something you become like it whatever you

00:40:01.360 --> 00:40:08.400
adore you become like whatever you adore you become like this is why if you adore idols you

00:40:08.400 --> 00:40:14.320
become like idols deaf and dumb the bible says that in isaiah they have become like the idols

00:40:16.160 --> 00:40:19.440
you become what you adore and so these are prayers that spring forth

00:40:20.960 --> 00:40:26.320
so sometimes it's adoration sometimes it's honor and sometimes haven't you caught yourself blessing

00:40:26.320 --> 00:40:31.040
god you'll be walking and you start saying i bless you father i bless you father prayers are

00:40:31.040 --> 00:40:35.120
blessing god we are the only people who have the marvelous privilege of blessing our god

00:40:37.680 --> 00:40:43.280
we just pause out of you guys these are things we experience we're just putting them under

00:40:43.280 --> 00:40:47.520
categories so that we can be intentional about them that's what we're doing here

00:40:49.200 --> 00:40:54.720
then there are prophetic prayers that come during worship elijah in second kings 315 here's what

00:40:54.720 --> 00:41:00.960
happens jahusha father's there ahab is there elijah is there and jahusha father is a decent

00:41:00.960 --> 00:41:06.480
guy and he says elijah could you prophesy and elijah says get me a minister or get me a musician

00:41:06.480 --> 00:41:11.280
and so musician comes with a guitar and he starts playing the guitar and elijah starts

00:41:11.280 --> 00:41:16.960
prophesying there's always a connection between the prophetic and the um and worship

00:41:19.040 --> 00:41:22.560
that happens sometimes second kings 315

00:41:24.720 --> 00:41:29.600
never seen the word guitar in the bible they i think they used to call it harp then yeah

00:41:32.560 --> 00:41:39.280
and so in worship guys here's another another amazing chapter it was during the time of the

00:41:39.280 --> 00:41:51.680
of king aziah and um i i saw a vision in which the heavens were thrown open and i saw the holy

00:41:51.680 --> 00:42:00.240
one of israel seated on a throne the train of his robe filled the temple and there were angels

00:42:00.240 --> 00:42:06.400
around him seraphim with six wings two covered their faces two covered their feet and with two

00:42:06.400 --> 00:42:17.360
they flew and smoke filled the temple and i heard these angels singing holy holy holy is the lord

00:42:17.360 --> 00:42:20.400
god almighty the whole earth is full of his glory

00:42:22.800 --> 00:42:27.280
and the temple shook and i said woe is me for i have seen the glory of

00:42:28.320 --> 00:42:34.320
god and i am undone and an angel picked up a call from the altar and he came and touched my lips and

00:42:34.320 --> 00:42:42.640
said you are now being made clean and as i stood and marveled i heard a voice saying who shall i

00:42:42.640 --> 00:42:50.880
send who will go for us and i leaped up and i said send me again happening in the context of

00:42:51.440 --> 00:42:58.000
worship where in the process of worship you begin to hear the voice of god guys you begin to see the

00:42:58.000 --> 00:43:03.360
action around the throne you begin to see things from his perspective and you hear things that he

00:43:03.360 --> 00:43:08.720
would not otherwise hear prayers that these are called worship prayers where in the process things

00:43:08.720 --> 00:43:17.040
begin to happen awesome awesome two more and we are done

00:43:21.120 --> 00:43:25.760
guys there's declarative prayer we the declarative and prophetic prayers this

00:43:25.760 --> 00:43:31.040
church seems to have gotten a hang off which is why by the way i took some from daddy yeah

00:43:32.160 --> 00:43:38.320
just so full disclosure man yeah hey derrick can i grab a glass of water please the declarative

00:43:38.320 --> 00:43:44.240
prayers guys declarative prayers is praying the will of god from the written word or from what

00:43:44.240 --> 00:43:51.280
has already been revealed declarative prayers is praying the will of god from the written word

00:43:51.280 --> 00:43:53.600
or from that which has already been revealed

00:43:58.160 --> 00:44:06.800
and so it generates it generates god's purpose it generates god's purpose or pleasure

00:44:08.960 --> 00:44:12.800
it generates god's thanks man it generates god's purpose or pleasure

00:44:16.560 --> 00:44:20.080
it executes sentence or judgment

00:44:22.560 --> 00:44:23.600
some 149

00:44:30.080 --> 00:44:34.640
and it imposes restrictions or limitations it imposes

00:44:34.640 --> 00:44:42.800
restrictions or limitations it imposes restriction or limitation

00:44:46.400 --> 00:44:47.280
this is what it does

00:44:52.080 --> 00:44:56.240
it imposes it imposes limitations or restrictions

00:44:56.240 --> 00:44:57.440
it imposes restrictions

00:45:01.040 --> 00:45:07.680
heidi could you help that lady there please yeah so it generates or calls forth its purpose

00:45:07.680 --> 00:45:14.400
it executes sentence or it imposes restrictions and so that's what declarative prayers do

00:45:15.600 --> 00:45:20.080
it is the work of the spirit guys it's not a work of our mind sometimes what happens in churches like

00:45:20.160 --> 00:45:22.160
is we begin to declare out of our own bravado

00:45:23.520 --> 00:45:30.960
well yes father we will see the dead rice and we're very excited about it but it needed

00:45:30.960 --> 00:45:36.160
necessarily be generated by the spirit so we got to make sure that our declarations are generated

00:45:36.160 --> 00:45:39.040
by the spirit otherwise it becomes pentecostal bravado

00:45:41.920 --> 00:45:45.760
so it's a work of the spirit not of your mind not a bravado

00:45:46.400 --> 00:45:51.920
I mean jeremiah 32 17 jeremiah is told to buy land in the middle of a war and look what he's saying

00:45:51.920 --> 00:45:59.120
our lord god thou hast made the heavens and the earth nothing is impossible for you so would you

00:45:59.120 --> 00:46:06.720
now rise up and do signs miracles and wonders and guess what in acts 4 24 you hear an echo of that

00:46:08.240 --> 00:46:15.200
in act 4 24 the disciples are being threatened and they are praying our lord god let us pray

00:46:15.600 --> 00:46:21.040
look at all the threats that are coming our way but you are powerful you can stretch out your

00:46:21.040 --> 00:46:26.800
hand to do signs miracles and wonders and suddenly there's this declaration that's coming out of the

00:46:26.800 --> 00:46:32.400
mouth of jeremiah and thousand years later coming out of the mouth of some of the disciples gathered

00:46:32.400 --> 00:46:39.600
together in jerusalem in a hostile environment drawn from the word one echoing the other it's

00:46:39.600 --> 00:46:43.360
it's it's the council of god that is already revealed or that's written that is now being

00:46:43.360 --> 00:46:52.400
declared that's another form of prayer and the last one the last one is prophetic prayer

00:46:53.040 --> 00:46:58.480
prophetic prayer which we have discussed in the past so i'll go over it quickly

00:47:00.880 --> 00:47:04.880
prophetic prayer reveals the council of god

00:47:07.760 --> 00:47:13.280
it's it's not what has already been revealed it reveals the council of god while you're praying

00:47:13.280 --> 00:47:21.280
the council of god is revealed and it prepares the way for god to do something in a life in a

00:47:21.280 --> 00:47:27.680
situation or in lives let me say that again prophetic prayer is when the council of god is

00:47:27.680 --> 00:47:34.160
revealed while the prayer is happening the council of god is revealed and in the process it prepares

00:47:34.160 --> 00:47:41.840
the way for god to do something in your life or in the lives of people or in a situation for example

00:47:43.280 --> 00:47:55.440
it was during a time of prayer in 2006 that we first heard god say that this church has a stake in australia

00:47:58.160 --> 00:48:03.920
it was during a time of prayer that jason and mariana's life were forever changed

00:48:03.920 --> 00:48:09.280
and a new pathway that god was preparing for them began to open he he didn't come up for a prophetic

00:48:09.280 --> 00:48:15.280
word he came up for prayer at the church in vernon and then in the process the prophetic word

00:48:16.080 --> 00:48:23.520
came out he just said just pray i think that's what he said just pray yeah so the prophetic

00:48:23.520 --> 00:48:30.560
reveals the council of god so here's how it works guys prophetic prayers are spoken in the natural realm

00:48:31.040 --> 00:48:33.280
prophetic prayers are spoken in the natural realm

00:48:36.000 --> 00:48:40.240
they have an impact in the spiritual realm

00:48:43.200 --> 00:48:50.400
and they affect change in the natural realm prophetic prayers are spoken in the natural realm

00:48:51.440 --> 00:48:57.760
things begin to happen in the spiritual realm and it's physically manifested again in the natural

00:48:58.080 --> 00:49:05.040
world so the prophetic prayer over him was seven months from today you will leave this church

00:49:05.840 --> 00:49:09.600
no one else heard it only he heard it not this church i'm talking about his last church

00:49:11.280 --> 00:49:17.600
and so that is spoken things begin to happen in the spiritual realm seven months to the day

00:49:19.680 --> 00:49:26.640
he resigns and leaves not aware that he was it was not like he was deliberately planning the word to

00:49:27.120 --> 00:49:35.920
happen circumstances conspired is the tenderest way to put it so that he resigned it was seven days

00:49:35.920 --> 00:49:43.760
to the seven months to the day and then the rest of it happened in this in the natural realm he

00:49:43.760 --> 00:49:48.960
was told that you will know where you should go because it will be like a baby is kicking in your

00:49:49.680 --> 00:49:55.280
womb that was in the natural realm in the spiritual realm god began to form what he was going to do

00:49:55.280 --> 00:50:00.320
what was he going to do he was going to go to region and so he comes and tells mariana mariana

00:50:00.320 --> 00:50:05.120
i think we should go to regent and every time he says we i need to we should go to regent what

00:50:05.120 --> 00:50:10.400
happens mariana is now pregnant with kyla every time he says we i think we should go to region

00:50:10.400 --> 00:50:18.640
kyla starts kicking in mariana's womb imagine something is spoken in the natural realm god

00:50:18.640 --> 00:50:22.640
begins to work things in the spiritual realm and how does he know he should go to region because

00:50:22.640 --> 00:50:28.960
the lord had said when i tell you what you should do it'll be like something is kicking in the womb

00:50:30.800 --> 00:50:34.080
oh no this was months before that i had nothing to do with it

00:50:35.840 --> 00:50:44.560
but no meaning yeah and so it was something that happened where the where you say something in the

00:50:44.560 --> 00:50:50.080
natural it's rotten the spiritual and it happens in the natural that's how it works so guys we

00:50:50.080 --> 00:50:56.720
become then the voice of god on the earth we become the voice of god on the earth prophetic

00:50:56.720 --> 00:51:02.160
prayers allow us to become the voice of god on the earth and what are we doing we are sowing god's

00:51:02.160 --> 00:51:09.280
seeds into lives and into situations we become the voice of god on earth and we sow god seeds

00:51:09.280 --> 00:51:16.160
which begin a spring it's seeing the end from the beginning

00:51:16.160 --> 00:51:24.480
and it positions people in god's designed pathways it positions people in god designed pathways

00:51:24.480 --> 00:51:30.000
it's positioned jason in god designed pathways now he's he's building a household in new westminster

00:51:30.000 --> 00:51:36.640
three and a half years ago never occurred to him they were going to retire in vernon eric and jason

00:51:36.640 --> 00:51:41.680
had decided that they were going to stay in that church in vernon for the next 30 years

00:51:42.560 --> 00:51:49.040
so that's an impossibility to begin with in any nab church but they thought so

00:51:56.000 --> 00:51:56.500
so

00:52:03.280 --> 00:52:10.800
it stands for noll align brotherhood churches so it's okay yeah so in both here's my last point

00:52:10.800 --> 00:52:17.920
guys in both declarative and prophetic prayers it must be that the spirit that quickens you

00:52:19.040 --> 00:52:24.640
must be the spirit that quickens you jesus said this in john 6 verse 63 he said

00:52:26.080 --> 00:52:36.080
the words that i speak to you are spirit and life both declarative prayers and prophetic prayers

00:52:36.080 --> 00:52:46.160
the spirit has to quicken you okay so this john 6 63 when can you stop the thing okay guys so

00:52:47.520 --> 00:52:48.560
john 6 63
