00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:04.000
Okay, guys, we continue with Elijah and Elijah's journey.

00:00:04.000 --> 00:00:10.000
Last time we went, hey, Brandon, how far can I go before I get out of the screen?

00:00:10.000 --> 00:00:13.000
About there, okay.

00:00:13.000 --> 00:00:19.000
So we were talking about Elijah and Elijah reaching Jordan,

00:00:19.000 --> 00:00:23.000
and now we'll stay at Jordan for about two weeks, this week and next week.

00:00:23.000 --> 00:00:27.000
This week we talk about, so what was this double portion about?

00:00:27.000 --> 00:00:31.000
And then next week we'll talk about what do you do with a mantle?

00:00:31.000 --> 00:00:44.000
So if you go to 2 Kings 2.6, 2 Kings 2.6, 2 Kings 2.6,

00:00:44.000 --> 00:00:45.000
it says that,

00:00:45.000 --> 00:00:49.000
Then Elijah said to him, Stay here, the Lord has sent me to Jordan.

00:00:49.000 --> 00:00:53.000
And he replied, Surely as the Lord lives, and as you live,

00:00:53.000 --> 00:00:54.000
I will not leave you.

00:00:54.000 --> 00:00:57.000
So the two of them walked on.

00:00:57.000 --> 00:01:03.000
So till then you had 51 young men, if you include Elijah,

00:01:03.000 --> 00:01:07.000
till then you had 51 young men following Elijah.

00:01:07.000 --> 00:01:09.000
But now there's a separation, eh?

00:01:09.000 --> 00:01:11.000
At the Jordan there's a separation.

00:01:11.000 --> 00:01:16.000
They followed him through battle, through Gilgal battle in Jericho.

00:01:16.000 --> 00:01:20.000
But when they get to Jordan, out of the 51,

00:01:20.000 --> 00:01:24.000
one keeps going forward, the rest stay behind.

00:01:24.000 --> 00:01:26.000
And there's a separation.

00:01:26.000 --> 00:01:30.000
In your life, oh shut, this is not what you write with.

00:01:34.000 --> 00:01:38.000
In your life, always remember guys, the way this works,

00:01:38.000 --> 00:01:46.000
any separation will lead, separation precedes commission.

00:01:46.000 --> 00:01:49.000
Separation precedes commission.

00:01:49.000 --> 00:01:51.000
Separation precedes commission.

00:01:51.000 --> 00:01:54.000
In the sense, if you want to be commissioned,

00:01:54.000 --> 00:01:57.000
if God wants to commission you, he first separates you.

00:01:57.000 --> 00:01:58.000
What do you mean separates you?

00:01:58.000 --> 00:02:00.000
He first kadoshes you.

00:02:00.000 --> 00:02:01.000
What do you mean kadoshes you?

00:02:01.000 --> 00:02:03.000
Kadosh is a word used for holy.

00:02:03.000 --> 00:02:06.000
And yet kadosh means to be separated to God.

00:02:06.000 --> 00:02:08.000
That's the idea of kadosh.

00:02:08.000 --> 00:02:12.000
The idea of holy is not some kind of behavior,

00:02:12.000 --> 00:02:18.000
it is some kind of life that is so separate, so uniquely separate.

00:02:18.000 --> 00:02:21.000
And so every time one wants to be commissioned by God,

00:02:21.000 --> 00:02:24.000
or every time God desires to commission you,

00:02:24.000 --> 00:02:28.000
he begins to almost get you into a place where you can be separated

00:02:28.000 --> 00:02:31.000
from how you used to be.

00:02:31.000 --> 00:02:36.000
Or from the ones you were with and the way you were living,

00:02:36.000 --> 00:02:37.000
he separates you.

00:02:37.000 --> 00:02:38.000
He isolates you.

00:02:38.000 --> 00:02:40.000
Without separation, there is no commission.

00:02:40.000 --> 00:02:41.000
You see this with Moses.

00:02:41.000 --> 00:02:43.000
What happens with Moses?

00:02:43.000 --> 00:02:45.000
Moses is separated from whom?

00:02:45.000 --> 00:02:49.000
First from his Egyptian heritage, then from his Hebrew heritage,

00:02:49.000 --> 00:02:51.000
and then one day in the back of Sinai,

00:02:51.000 --> 00:02:54.000
he is separated and he gets commissioned at the burning bush.

00:02:54.000 --> 00:02:56.000
You see this with Jesus.

00:02:56.000 --> 00:03:01.000
He is separated, taken into a desert and commissioned.

00:03:01.000 --> 00:03:03.000
Separation is just normal.

00:03:03.000 --> 00:03:07.000
David, Joseph, all of them were separated before they were commissioned.

00:03:07.000 --> 00:03:10.000
And the idea of separation is not some kind of isolation,

00:03:10.000 --> 00:03:14.000
but it is can I draw you aside, pull you aside,

00:03:14.000 --> 00:03:19.000
so that you are now in a place where you begin to share something with me

00:03:19.000 --> 00:03:21.000
that you have never shared before.

00:03:21.000 --> 00:03:23.000
So separation precedes commission.

00:03:23.000 --> 00:03:26.000
And sometimes when you are being pushed into a place

00:03:26.000 --> 00:03:30.000
where things seem unfamiliar, you feel isolated,

00:03:30.000 --> 00:03:34.000
things are not as comfortable as they used to be,

00:03:34.000 --> 00:03:39.000
do not think of it as a bad time, do not even think of it as a wilderness.

00:03:39.000 --> 00:03:42.000
I was talking to somebody this week about a wilderness

00:03:42.000 --> 00:03:44.000
and I know some of you have heard this before,

00:03:44.000 --> 00:03:47.000
but there is nobody in the Bible who has gone into the wilderness

00:03:47.000 --> 00:03:51.000
that hasn't had a ridiculous revelation of God and comes back stronger.

00:03:51.000 --> 00:03:54.000
It doesn't matter what drives you into the wilderness.

00:03:54.000 --> 00:03:59.000
The first case of someone going into the wilderness was that of Cain.

00:03:59.000 --> 00:04:02.000
He murdered his brother and he is sent into the wilderness.

00:04:02.000 --> 00:04:05.000
But guess what? He meets God. How do we know that?

00:04:05.000 --> 00:04:08.000
God puts a mark on him that prevents anyone from harming him.

00:04:08.000 --> 00:04:11.000
This man who destroyed creation through murder

00:04:11.000 --> 00:04:15.000
now has a mark on him by whom? By God himself to do what? To protect him.

00:04:15.000 --> 00:04:18.000
You see Elijah going into the wilderness.

00:04:18.000 --> 00:04:19.000
You see Moses going into the wilderness.

00:04:19.000 --> 00:04:21.000
You see Jesus going into the wilderness.

00:04:21.000 --> 00:04:23.000
You see Hagar going into the wilderness.

00:04:23.000 --> 00:04:24.000
You see Israel going into the wilderness.

00:04:24.000 --> 00:04:26.000
You see Paul going into the wilderness.

00:04:26.000 --> 00:04:28.000
It doesn't matter who goes into the wilderness.

00:04:28.000 --> 00:04:31.000
That is where you meet God like you have never met him before.

00:04:31.000 --> 00:04:34.000
And so this idea of separation is critical to commissioning.

00:04:34.000 --> 00:04:37.000
Every time there is a sense of,

00:04:37.000 --> 00:04:40.000
okay, Jacob, I need you to separate yourself from how you are.

00:04:40.000 --> 00:04:46.000
And how I am is not bad, but there is a better place all throughout my life.

00:04:46.000 --> 00:04:47.000
There will be a better place.

00:04:47.000 --> 00:04:49.000
And there is this call or there is this urge in your heart,

00:04:49.000 --> 00:04:51.000
there is this thing that begins to rise in your heart.

00:04:51.000 --> 00:04:53.000
Please come aside. I want to separate you.

00:04:53.000 --> 00:04:56.000
And when you hear that, don't be frustrated.

00:04:56.000 --> 00:04:58.000
Don't think it's isolation. Don't think it's sin.

00:04:58.000 --> 00:05:00.000
Begin to say, okay, God, this is going to be tough,

00:05:00.000 --> 00:05:03.000
but I want to be separated because I know what comes after separation.

00:05:03.000 --> 00:05:05.000
Separation species commission.

00:05:05.000 --> 00:05:09.000
And it never stops.

00:05:09.000 --> 00:05:11.000
It doesn't matter how old you are.

00:05:11.000 --> 00:05:13.000
It never stops.

00:05:13.000 --> 00:05:15.000
Because you ain't like Jesus yet.

00:05:15.000 --> 00:05:22.000
So it ain't going to stop.

00:05:22.000 --> 00:05:27.000
Separation will have you break away from culture, family, friends.

00:05:27.000 --> 00:05:29.000
Yeah, totally.

00:05:29.000 --> 00:05:31.000
But that's why we don't want to separate.

00:05:31.000 --> 00:05:39.000
We don't want to separate from that that is familiar.

00:05:39.000 --> 00:05:41.000
So once the commissioning happens,

00:05:41.000 --> 00:05:47.000
it's a heavy word, but it just means God calling you into what he always had in mind before you were born.

00:05:47.000 --> 00:05:50.000
Then God creates a miraculous passage.

00:05:50.000 --> 00:05:54.000
Then God creates a miraculous passage for you to walk through.

00:05:54.000 --> 00:05:59.000
It's like a corridor or a tunnel where it's you and him.

00:05:59.000 --> 00:06:01.000
A miraculous passage.

00:06:01.000 --> 00:06:03.000
And that's what's happening here, too.

00:06:03.000 --> 00:06:06.000
So there is a separation from the rest of the guides,

00:06:06.000 --> 00:06:09.000
and then there is the commissioning where Elisha gets a mantle.

00:06:09.000 --> 00:06:13.000
And then there's a miraculous passage where he takes a mantle, strikes the waters of the Jordan.

00:06:13.000 --> 00:06:15.000
The Jordan part, he walks on dry ground.

00:06:15.000 --> 00:06:17.000
That is the next thing that happens.

00:06:17.000 --> 00:06:19.000
Once you're commissioned, there is a miraculous passage,

00:06:19.000 --> 00:06:22.000
as in this mountain that looked impossible to climb when God said,

00:06:22.000 --> 00:06:26.000
this is what I want you to do, now becomes so easy to climb.

00:06:26.000 --> 00:06:30.000
It is still strenuous, but your feet have strength.

00:06:30.000 --> 00:06:33.000
It is still strenuous, but your feet have strength.

00:06:33.000 --> 00:06:36.000
It doesn't matter what is placed before you.

00:06:36.000 --> 00:06:40.000
I hope you have nothing placed before you that is easy to do.

00:06:40.000 --> 00:06:45.000
Easy to do is for children, man.

00:06:45.000 --> 00:06:49.000
I hope it's always difficult, always difficult.

00:06:49.000 --> 00:06:51.000
Because in difficulty comes dependence.

00:06:51.000 --> 00:06:53.000
In dependence, God is revealed.

00:06:53.000 --> 00:06:54.000
In difficulty comes dependence.

00:06:54.000 --> 00:06:56.000
Out of difficulty comes dependence.

00:06:56.000 --> 00:06:58.000
In dependence, God is revealed.

00:06:58.000 --> 00:06:59.000
And then God is revealed.

00:06:59.000 --> 00:07:05.000
When Emmanuel is present, oh my God, what do you need?

00:07:05.000 --> 00:07:09.000
In difficulty, dependence happens.

00:07:09.000 --> 00:07:13.000
In dependence, God is revealed.

00:07:13.000 --> 00:07:17.000
And so miraculous passages open up.

00:07:17.000 --> 00:07:21.000
Because every commission, I mean, just think of what God asks people to do.

00:07:21.000 --> 00:07:23.000
It's absolutely impossible.

00:07:23.000 --> 00:07:28.000
God asks this of a church and God asks this of you.

00:07:28.000 --> 00:07:30.000
Absolutely impossible.

00:07:30.000 --> 00:07:33.000
And now that you have this impossibility, a miraculous passage opens.

00:07:33.000 --> 00:07:37.000
And once the miraculous passage opens, or this corridor opens,

00:07:37.000 --> 00:07:42.000
and people will wonder how is it that you aren't perturbed or disturbed

00:07:42.000 --> 00:07:46.000
by the enormity of the task before you?

00:07:46.000 --> 00:07:48.000
Why is it that you aren't disturbed?

00:07:48.000 --> 00:07:51.000
Why is it that you're able to walk this easily?

00:07:51.000 --> 00:07:59.000
Because you now draw from a source that others don't know of till they step into it.

00:07:59.000 --> 00:08:05.000
And after the miraculous passage, the next thing that happens is multiplication.

00:08:05.000 --> 00:08:08.000
Miraculous passage and then multiplication.

00:08:08.000 --> 00:08:12.000
Because everything that God does in terms of a commission in your life is not for your benefit.

00:08:12.000 --> 00:08:14.000
It is for the benefit of somebody else.

00:08:14.000 --> 00:08:16.000
It is for the benefit of somebody else.

00:08:16.000 --> 00:08:19.000
After the miraculous passage comes multiplication,

00:08:19.000 --> 00:08:22.000
where the fruit of your life becomes what people eat.

00:08:31.000 --> 00:08:33.000
This church is a result of this.

00:08:33.000 --> 00:08:35.000
I remember this happening in my life 16 years ago.

00:08:39.000 --> 00:08:41.000
Miraculous passage.

00:08:42.000 --> 00:08:45.000
Things opening up that are impossible.

00:08:45.000 --> 00:08:47.000
And then multiply.

00:08:49.000 --> 00:08:51.000
Any questions on this?

00:09:01.000 --> 00:09:03.000
What does separation look like?

00:09:03.000 --> 00:09:07.000
Separation is a growing frustration with life at present.

00:09:07.000 --> 00:09:12.000
Separation is a call from God to draw aside to spend more time.

00:09:12.000 --> 00:09:16.000
Separation is some of your friends falling away.

00:09:16.000 --> 00:09:24.000
Separation is pebbles in your shoe where things are beginning to grate and you need to drop them.

00:09:24.000 --> 00:09:30.000
Separation is the beckoning of the Holy Spirit into dangerous situations that a fool would not step into,

00:09:30.000 --> 00:09:32.000
but you are foolish enough to step into.

00:09:33.000 --> 00:09:37.000
Where he is beckoning you to step into things that you have sworn you would never take on.

00:09:39.000 --> 00:09:41.000
Separation is the placing a demand on your head saying,

00:09:41.000 --> 00:09:45.000
hey, I'm going to place a demand on your head so you begin to think different.

00:09:51.000 --> 00:09:54.000
Yeah, separation begins to put a demand on you saying,

00:09:54.000 --> 00:09:59.000
hey, there's more that you are capable of before I commission you, but I've got to squeeze it out of you.

00:09:59.000 --> 00:10:01.000
So there's a demand placed on you.

00:10:01.000 --> 00:10:06.000
There's a drawing aside as in come aside, I need more time.

00:10:06.000 --> 00:10:08.000
For what I have you to do, you need to know me better.

00:10:08.000 --> 00:10:12.000
Not you need to read more scriptures, you need to know me better.

00:10:12.000 --> 00:10:17.000
Separation is a pebble in your shoe where things are beginning to grate, you need to drop them.

00:10:17.000 --> 00:10:21.000
These shoes I've never worn before. You know why?

00:10:21.000 --> 00:10:24.000
Because I've had this all the while hoping that I would wear it one day.

00:10:24.000 --> 00:10:30.000
And then when I went to Chennai, what's his name, Chad took my shoes and said,

00:10:30.000 --> 00:10:33.000
you can't wear these anymore. He had his reasons.

00:10:33.000 --> 00:10:37.000
So he took a really nice pair of shoes that I had to worn for at least another six years

00:10:37.000 --> 00:10:39.000
till it would have no sole left.

00:10:39.000 --> 00:10:42.000
But he knew how I behaved so he took my shoes away.

00:10:42.000 --> 00:10:45.000
You don't have to give your shoes away.

00:10:45.000 --> 00:10:47.000
What I'm trying to say...

00:10:47.000 --> 00:10:55.000
Yeah, because my habit is if I love a pair of shoes, I get sentimental over stuff like shoes.

00:10:55.000 --> 00:10:59.000
So I can hold on to a shoe for six years till my feet are like this.

00:10:59.000 --> 00:11:05.000
Really? And so he took them away.

00:11:05.000 --> 00:11:10.000
What I'm trying to say is when it comes to separation, there is a grating that happens.

00:11:10.000 --> 00:11:14.000
As in things are not fitting, you hold on to them because you like it.

00:11:14.000 --> 00:11:17.000
But God is saying let go of it. It is so difficult guys.

00:11:17.000 --> 00:11:20.000
But that's what separation looks like. If you're trying to figure out what separation looks like,

00:11:20.000 --> 00:11:24.000
that's what separation looks like.

00:11:24.000 --> 00:11:26.000
Happened to Jesus, happened to Moses.

00:11:26.000 --> 00:11:33.000
They were put into such, such almost contradictory situations for things to work out.

00:11:33.000 --> 00:11:39.000
At that time, to resort back or to revert back or to hold on to what you were,

00:11:39.000 --> 00:11:48.000
commissioning does not happen.

00:11:48.000 --> 00:11:51.000
Then the miraculous passage and then multiplication.

00:11:51.000 --> 00:11:54.000
So multiplication does not start without separation.

00:11:54.000 --> 00:11:56.000
And you find this in the book of Genesis.

00:11:56.000 --> 00:12:01.000
Every time God separated the earth and the sky or the earth from the waters,

00:12:01.000 --> 00:12:03.000
what would immediately happen?

00:12:03.000 --> 00:12:07.000
Whatever he separated would be full of birds, fish, trees.

00:12:07.000 --> 00:12:13.000
He separated, he would cause the separation and then immediately populate it.

00:12:13.000 --> 00:12:16.000
It's strange how throughout Genesis you see that pattern.

00:12:16.000 --> 00:12:22.000
And as soon as he separates it, multiplication begins.

00:12:22.000 --> 00:12:28.000
Fruitfulness is a result of separation.

00:12:28.000 --> 00:12:36.000
By the way, when you look at this idea of Elijah being taken away by the whirlwind and stuff like that,

00:12:36.000 --> 00:12:41.000
you find that it's happened to three people and they almost belong to three different phases in the Bible.

00:12:41.000 --> 00:12:43.000
There was Enoch, he was taken away.

00:12:43.000 --> 00:12:48.000
That was pre-Mosaic law.

00:12:48.000 --> 00:12:53.000
And then you see Elijah, he's during the times of the laws and law and the prophets.

00:12:53.000 --> 00:12:56.000
And then there is Jesus, who is in the time of the New Testament.

00:12:56.000 --> 00:12:58.000
These are three that were taken away.

00:12:58.000 --> 00:13:01.000
And then there's a fourth one left that still hasn't happened and that's us.

00:13:01.000 --> 00:13:06.000
There's a taking away of the church that will happen at some stage.

00:13:06.000 --> 00:13:13.000
It's almost like three dispensations that have already taken place and each one had someone taken away.

00:13:13.000 --> 00:13:16.000
That's just on the side.

00:13:16.000 --> 00:13:22.000
Elijah asks for a double portion of Elijah's spirit.

00:13:22.000 --> 00:13:24.000
What's Elijah really saying?

00:13:24.000 --> 00:13:26.000
Elijah is saying, can I be the firstborn?

00:13:26.000 --> 00:13:34.000
Because in Deuteronomy 21, verse 17, it says there that one should give to his firstborn,

00:13:34.000 --> 00:13:44.000
even if he is born of a wife you don't love, you still have to give him twice as much as what you would give your other sons.

00:13:44.000 --> 00:13:47.000
That's where the idea of double portion comes from.

00:13:47.000 --> 00:13:51.000
That when a man, and in those days you could marry more than one woman,

00:13:51.000 --> 00:13:57.000
when a man had two wives, it could be that the wife he doesn't love or the wife that he hasn't,

00:13:57.000 --> 00:14:03.000
that has fallen out of favor with him bore him his first son.

00:14:03.000 --> 00:14:09.000
But because he loves his second wife more, he may decide to give her son the inheritance.

00:14:09.000 --> 00:14:16.000
There was a law put in place that said your firstborn, even if he is born of a woman you don't love anymore,

00:14:16.000 --> 00:14:20.000
will get twice as much as the other sons.

00:14:20.000 --> 00:14:23.000
That's where this idea of double portion comes from.

00:14:23.000 --> 00:14:29.000
In a sense, what Elijah is saying here is he's referring to the rights of a firstborn.

00:14:29.000 --> 00:14:50.000
And he's saying, hey, can I be the inheritor of the full authority of the father,

00:14:50.000 --> 00:14:56.000
here he's talking about Elijah, but we are talking about the other father,

00:14:56.000 --> 00:15:05.000
to carry forward all that the father had planned.

00:15:05.000 --> 00:15:19.000
Can I be the inheritor of the full authority of the father to carry forward everything that the father had planned?

00:15:19.000 --> 00:15:25.000
Because it is to the oldest of the firstborn that the execution of the plan is given.

00:15:25.000 --> 00:15:32.000
We have one who is the elder brother, Christ, to him was given the rights to execute the father's desire.

00:15:32.000 --> 00:15:35.000
The difference is we are co-heirs with him.

00:15:35.000 --> 00:15:38.000
However, this function, we'll come to that.

00:15:38.000 --> 00:15:40.000
So this is what Elijah is asking for.

00:15:40.000 --> 00:15:42.000
This is what Elijah is asking for.

00:15:42.000 --> 00:15:50.000
Hey, can I be the one who receives full authority from you to execute all the plans that you were given by God?

00:15:50.000 --> 00:15:52.000
Can I be the one who does that?

00:15:52.000 --> 00:15:59.000
Our problem is we sometimes think to ask this is too boastful or too proud or too much.

00:15:59.000 --> 00:16:06.000
We just say stuff like whatever the Lord wills, really bad idea.

00:16:06.000 --> 00:16:13.000
Here is a dad who wants to give out things so that he can finish what Christ started.

00:16:13.000 --> 00:16:15.000
He wants to give it.

00:16:15.000 --> 00:16:18.000
And instead when we say, you know, there was a guy who did this.

00:16:18.000 --> 00:16:23.000
A prophet goes up to King Ahaz, I'm not too sure, and he says, ask what you want.

00:16:23.000 --> 00:16:25.000
And the guy says, whatever the Lord wills.

00:16:25.000 --> 00:16:29.000
And the prophet gets upset and he says, the son will move back three steps.

00:16:29.000 --> 00:16:36.000
Why is it that when God asks you to ask something, do you take this backseat?

00:16:36.000 --> 00:16:39.000
Never shy away from what God wants to give you.

00:16:39.000 --> 00:16:43.000
In fact, go knocking on that door.

00:16:43.000 --> 00:16:48.000
To sit and wait for things to happen ain't your God, man.

00:16:48.000 --> 00:16:50.000
Ain't your God.

00:16:50.000 --> 00:16:55.000
Behave like your God.

00:16:55.000 --> 00:17:04.000
So there is the need to jostle for can I have the authority to do here on earth what you want done?

00:17:04.000 --> 00:17:09.000
Can I have full authority for it so that I might fulfill your plans here on earth?

00:17:09.000 --> 00:17:15.000
Jesus wasn't waiting patiently saying, if the father runs out of all options, maybe I'll think of going to the cross.

00:17:15.000 --> 00:17:21.000
No, Hebrews 10, he goes up to the father and he says, sacrifices and offerings you have not required.

00:17:21.000 --> 00:17:25.000
What you need is a body. Here I am. Send me.

00:17:25.000 --> 00:17:28.000
Isaiah copies that or doesn't copy that.

00:17:28.000 --> 00:17:31.000
He happened before Jesus, but he gets his hand.

00:17:31.000 --> 00:17:35.000
He says he hears a conversation in heaven.

00:17:35.000 --> 00:17:37.000
He just happens to hear a conversation in heaven.

00:17:37.000 --> 00:17:39.000
What's the conversation in heaven?

00:17:39.000 --> 00:17:43.000
Who shall I send? Who will go? Who shall we send? Who will go for us?

00:17:43.000 --> 00:17:45.000
Isaiah just happens to hear it.

00:17:45.000 --> 00:17:47.000
It isn't even being addressed to Isaiah.

00:17:47.000 --> 00:17:49.000
It's a question that's being farmed out.

00:17:49.000 --> 00:17:52.000
Let's hear if there's anybody on earth who's paying attention.

00:17:52.000 --> 00:17:56.000
And Isaiah shoots his hand up and says, send me, send me, send me.

00:17:56.000 --> 00:18:02.000
There are so many questions being asked every week by God from heaven.

00:18:02.000 --> 00:18:07.000
And during our quiet times, one of the things we need to hear is, hey, what's coming my way?

00:18:07.000 --> 00:18:12.000
Because there are lots of assignments being given out.

00:18:12.000 --> 00:18:17.000
We're waiting for a prophetic word to receive an assignment, while in our quiet times we can receive assignments.

00:18:17.000 --> 00:18:23.000
Where you say, oh shucks, I heard that one. Please, can I have it? Please, please, please.

00:18:23.000 --> 00:18:27.000
That's part of our quiet time.

00:18:27.000 --> 00:18:34.000
And so do not hesitate to be someone who asks to be an inheritor of the full authority of the Father

00:18:34.000 --> 00:18:39.000
to carry forward all that the Father had planned.

00:18:39.000 --> 00:18:47.000
But then, wasn't Elijah already designated as Elijah's successor in 1 Kings 16, 19?

00:18:47.000 --> 00:18:49.000
Sorry, 1 Kings 19, 19.

00:18:49.000 --> 00:18:53.000
Remember that scene where Elijah goes, takes his mantle and throws it on Elijah and walks away?

00:18:53.000 --> 00:18:55.000
He was already designated.

00:18:55.000 --> 00:18:59.000
So why is he then asking?

00:18:59.000 --> 00:19:05.000
If he was already designated as Elijah's successor, what's he asking?

00:19:10.000 --> 00:19:23.000
Elijah knew that the Spirit with the smallest, the Spirit of Elijah, Elijah knew that the Spirit of Elijah was the secret, was the secret.

00:19:23.000 --> 00:19:32.000
Hey, by the way, I remember going to this place called Shillong, which some of you guys are familiar with and come from.

00:19:32.000 --> 00:19:36.000
I remember going to Shillong and this was in 2009.

00:19:36.000 --> 00:19:42.000
Very clearly, God said, go to Shillong. Never been to Shillong. Most people don't know it exists.

00:19:42.000 --> 00:19:51.000
And so went to Shillong and felt God saying, you need to complete the work that was started here.

00:19:51.000 --> 00:19:56.000
And the first thing I did then, having heard that I was supposed to complete the work started here,

00:19:56.000 --> 00:20:00.000
is I went looking for the guy who started the work.

00:20:00.000 --> 00:20:05.000
And I found him. His name was Skinner. He was a pastor. His name was Skinner.

00:20:05.000 --> 00:20:10.000
And I asked the person I met in Shillong to take me to this pastor called Skinner.

00:20:10.000 --> 00:20:16.000
Skinner, 40 years ago, had started a work in Shillong that is now spread throughout those regions.

00:20:16.000 --> 00:20:21.000
But he was paralyzed. He could hardly speak. He could hardly move. He was in a wheelchair.

00:20:21.000 --> 00:20:28.000
And I knew that I had to go to him. He doesn't know me and I somehow found an audience, went to him, and I went, he can hear me.

00:20:28.000 --> 00:20:33.000
And so I explained to him why I'm here. I said, but I will finish what you have started,

00:20:33.000 --> 00:20:36.000
but you need to bless me before I do this.

00:20:36.000 --> 00:20:41.000
And he couldn't speak, but he took his hands, laid it on me, and he began to pray with grunts and groans.

00:20:41.000 --> 00:20:51.000
And I knew it was critical that I do that. Why? Because sometimes, like I said, to carry forward all that the Father has planned,

00:20:51.000 --> 00:20:56.000
sometimes it's a good idea to go to the person who he had given the thing to that won't be able to complete it.

00:20:56.000 --> 00:21:00.000
Sometimes people complete it. Sometimes people don't complete it.

00:21:00.000 --> 00:21:07.000
And then for the next 10 years, till 2020, we worked in Shillong.

00:21:07.000 --> 00:21:10.000
That's just on the side.

00:21:10.000 --> 00:21:23.000
So Elisha knew that the spirit of Elijah was a secret, was a secret to both availing, as in obtaining, and prevailing,

00:21:23.000 --> 00:21:32.000
availing and prevailing in divine power, in divine power.

00:21:32.000 --> 00:21:44.000
Elisha knew that the spirit of Elijah was a secret to both availing, as in getting, and prevailing in divine power.

00:21:44.000 --> 00:21:48.000
What does that mean? Guys, remember, Elijah was not very special.

00:21:48.000 --> 00:21:57.000
James 5.17 says that Elijah was a man just like you and I, ordinary man, and that he was a man just like you and I with weaknesses.

00:21:57.000 --> 00:22:03.000
So why then is Elisha going and asking for a double portion of the spirit that is upon Elijah?

00:22:03.000 --> 00:22:10.000
He's not talking about the Holy Spirit. He's saying, can I have your spirit? But can I have it, can I have twice as much?

00:22:10.000 --> 00:22:16.000
What's he asking for? Because very often we confuse this with the, oh, he asked for a double portion of the Holy Spirit.

00:22:16.000 --> 00:22:21.000
You can't get double of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a person. He dwells in you.

00:22:21.000 --> 00:22:31.000
So what's he asking for? Why is he asking of a man of whom we have heard that he was just an ordinary man with weaknesses just like you and I?

00:22:31.000 --> 00:22:43.000
One of the things we have to figure out, guys, is what do you want from either the church you belong to or the people that you hold up as ones that need to be imitated?

00:22:43.000 --> 00:22:52.000
What do you want? Elisha wanted some things from Elijah. He wanted this ability to have supernatural answers to prayer.

00:22:52.000 --> 00:22:57.000
Supernatural answers to prayer. It was something that Elijah was known for. James 5 then talks about it.

00:22:57.000 --> 00:23:01.000
He prayed and the rain stopped. He prayed and the rain started. Supernatural answers to prayer.

00:23:01.000 --> 00:23:19.000
He wanted to be someone who had the courage to take on powers, courage to take on political powers like Ahab and spiritual powers like Jezebel.

00:23:19.000 --> 00:23:30.000
He was someone who had a fierce fighting spirit. He was, sorry, spirit was spelled wrong, spirit.

00:23:30.000 --> 00:23:40.000
He was someone who was a John the Baptist type. John is compared to Elijah. He was a voice crying out in the wilderness.

00:23:40.000 --> 00:23:52.000
He was someone who could turn an apostate nation to God.

00:23:52.000 --> 00:24:07.000
He was someone who would go into power encounters alone to face 850 others who worshipped demonic powers.

00:24:07.000 --> 00:24:16.000
Elijah knew what he wanted, man. Elijah knew what he wanted. He knows what he is asking for.

00:24:16.000 --> 00:24:23.000
He knows that Elijah is a flawed man. Nobody knew how flawed Elijah was as much as Elisha. Elisha served him.

00:24:23.000 --> 00:24:30.000
Elisha knows his weaknesses, knows his frailties, but he wants something from him. He's not asking for the spirit of God.

00:24:30.000 --> 00:24:39.000
He's asking, I know what your weaknesses are, but man, I know the kind of man you are. I want twice as much because this is why I've been placed on the earth.

00:24:39.000 --> 00:24:47.000
This is what I want. What do you want? What do you want? What do you want from the church you're in?

00:24:47.000 --> 00:24:51.000
And so you'll have to ask the question, what does this church have that I can want?

00:24:51.000 --> 00:24:57.000
What do you want from the people that you want to imitate or follow? What do you want from their lives?

00:24:58.000 --> 00:25:06.000
Every time I've learned to walk under somebody, I know what I want from their lives. Quickly, I'll have an idea of, I want this, this, this, this.

00:25:06.000 --> 00:25:11.000
I begin to cry out for it. I begin to try and model myself after it.

00:25:11.000 --> 00:25:17.000
But these are things that I'm modeling after that are in the character of God that this person is now beginning to show in real flesh.

00:25:17.000 --> 00:25:22.000
What do you want? Because if you don't want anything, you will go to heaven.

00:25:22.000 --> 00:25:29.000
But like I said last time, what kind of face am I going to stand before the king of the universe with?

00:25:33.000 --> 00:25:35.000
What do you want?

00:25:37.000 --> 00:25:40.000
Celine, you want some water? Oh, you got it. Yeah.

00:25:40.000 --> 00:25:44.000
Nowadays, if you cough, immediately we start doing this.

00:25:45.000 --> 00:25:48.000
Don't worry, don't worry. I'm just joking.

00:25:48.000 --> 00:25:53.000
I was talking to Sheikha just for the sake of the camera here.

00:25:58.000 --> 00:26:06.000
This is what he knew he could get, man. And when you look at what Elijah does, you'll see 15 different miracles after Elijah goes away.

00:26:06.000 --> 00:26:15.000
And in those 15 miracles, you see how he absolutely over, over did what Elijah could do.

00:26:16.000 --> 00:26:24.000
He wasn't asking for more of the Holy Spirit. He was asking for, can I have this that you have so that I can finish what I'm supposed to finish?

00:26:27.000 --> 00:26:36.000
It's an opportunity and a portion that is available to everybody here. It is an opportunity and a portion that is available to everyone.

00:26:36.000 --> 00:26:39.000
That's the cool thing about it. This is not some special deal for special people.

00:26:40.000 --> 00:26:46.000
It is an opportunity and a portion available to everyone here. Everyone here. There's nobody here who's exempt.

00:26:46.000 --> 00:26:51.000
Everyone here has an opportunity and a portion available to you.

00:26:52.000 --> 00:26:56.000
But as you begin to run after it, it'll change you. It changes you. It'll change you.

00:26:57.000 --> 00:27:00.000
Once you decide, aha, this is what I want, it changes you.

00:27:00.000 --> 00:27:10.000
It'll increase your capacity. It'll increase your capacity to receive the Spirit, to receive the Holy Spirit.

00:27:10.000 --> 00:27:13.000
It'll increase your capacity to receive the Holy Spirit.

00:27:17.000 --> 00:27:23.000
It'll increase the exploits of God through you. It'll increase the exploits of God through you.

00:27:25.000 --> 00:27:28.000
It'll increase the exploits of God through you.

00:27:30.000 --> 00:27:33.000
And it'll give evidence. It'll give evidence of God in you.

00:27:33.000 --> 00:27:40.000
It'll give evidence of God in you.

00:27:42.000 --> 00:27:44.000
It'll give the world evidence of God in you.

00:27:44.000 --> 00:27:53.000
You know, one of the great things about the firstborn, why firstborns were so important in the Hebrew world, was because the firstborn proved the father's virility.

00:27:53.000 --> 00:27:58.000
In Hebrew culture, not to have a son was unthinkable.

00:27:59.000 --> 00:28:01.000
It was almost seen as a curse.

00:28:02.000 --> 00:28:05.000
Because to have a son was to prove the father's virility.

00:28:08.000 --> 00:28:20.000
Change is for us. For us it is more along the lines of, okay, so now I'm going to be changed as I begin to desire to fulfill the father's will here by walking as best as I can, running after him as a father.

00:28:20.000 --> 00:28:23.000
But as I'm changing, it'll increase my capacity to receive the Holy Spirit.

00:28:23.000 --> 00:28:26.000
It'll increase the exploits of God through me as I increase in my capacity.

00:28:26.000 --> 00:28:32.000
And it'll give evidence of the virility of the God called Yahweh, Jesus Christ's son and the Spirit of God.

00:28:32.000 --> 00:28:34.000
It'll give evidence to the world.

00:28:35.000 --> 00:28:38.000
There is more power in seances than in churches nowadays.

00:28:39.000 --> 00:28:41.000
Has to shift.

00:28:41.000 --> 00:28:42.000
Any questions?

00:28:44.000 --> 00:28:45.000
No.

00:28:45.000 --> 00:28:50.000
The first person doesn't have to die to receive a double portion.

00:28:51.000 --> 00:29:00.000
It's not like Elijah has to die before you can, if you were Elijah, it's not like Elijah has to die before you receive a double portion.

00:29:01.000 --> 00:29:03.000
Elijah didn't have the power to receive the double portion.

00:29:03.000 --> 00:29:06.840
It's not like Elijah has to die before you can...

00:29:06.840 --> 00:29:10.160
If you were Elisha, it's not like Elijah has to die

00:29:10.160 --> 00:29:13.240
before you receive. Twice...

00:29:13.240 --> 00:29:16.700
Because there's enough work to be done, man. We need a thousand Elijah's

00:29:16.700 --> 00:29:20.000
and about three thousand Elisha's at living at the same time.

00:29:20.000 --> 00:29:26.000
Otherwise, if Elijah takes long to die, you might die before Elijah.

00:29:26.000 --> 00:29:29.520
The

00:29:29.520 --> 00:29:33.560
principle here is, guys, can you walk like this so that

00:29:33.560 --> 00:29:37.240
every successive generation just gets

00:29:37.240 --> 00:29:40.640
more and more potent, more and more potent, does in less time

00:29:40.640 --> 00:29:43.680
what the previous generation did.

00:29:43.680 --> 00:29:50.560
In less time, in less time. And every successive generation is going to get

00:29:50.560 --> 00:29:51.760
more wicked and evil, eh?

00:29:51.760 --> 00:29:56.240
Your problems and your challenges are not going to lessen.

00:29:56.440 --> 00:29:59.480
Hey, the stuff I had to deal with, we didn't have porn...

00:29:59.480 --> 00:30:05.480
We couldn't even access porn. Didn't know how to spell it. It was such a long word.

00:30:05.480 --> 00:30:10.480
You think it's...

00:30:10.480 --> 00:30:13.760
It was more difficult then? It was less difficult then.

00:30:13.760 --> 00:30:17.160
As long as you didn't listen to Beatles songs and weren't

00:30:17.160 --> 00:30:22.600
at Woodstock, you were safe. Things are so,

00:30:22.600 --> 00:30:27.000
so not healthy right now. You need more of the Spirit of God

00:30:27.000 --> 00:30:30.000
now than you needed when I was your age.

00:30:30.000 --> 00:30:37.000
It's worse now, man.

00:30:42.600 --> 00:30:45.680
Your responsibility is to position yourself.

00:30:45.680 --> 00:30:49.120
Your responsibility is to position yourself.

00:30:49.120 --> 00:30:54.360
That's your responsibility. There's God's responsibility and your responsibility.

00:30:54.360 --> 00:30:55.640
Your responsibility

00:30:55.640 --> 00:30:59.440
is to position yourself

00:30:59.440 --> 00:31:05.960
in order and in the arrangement of God

00:31:05.960 --> 00:31:12.960
here on Earth.

00:31:19.320 --> 00:31:22.920
That's your responsibility. When you do that,

00:31:22.920 --> 00:31:26.840
God releases and rewards you. God releases

00:31:26.840 --> 00:31:33.840
your inheritance and rewards you.

00:31:35.440 --> 00:31:41.880
God releases your inheritance and rewards you. Man can't give you an inheritance.

00:31:41.880 --> 00:31:45.880
Elijah, why do you think Elijah is saying, you have asked a hard thing.

00:31:45.880 --> 00:31:49.120
I cannot give this to you. Only God can give it to you. How can Elijah give him

00:31:49.120 --> 00:31:50.200
something he doesn't have?

00:31:50.200 --> 00:31:54.040
A man cannot give you an inheritance. Only God can give you an inheritance.

00:31:54.040 --> 00:31:57.120
But God only gives inheritance through

00:31:57.120 --> 00:32:02.520
the agency of man. Here lies our problem. Man cannot give you an inheritance.

00:32:02.520 --> 00:32:07.720
I can give you nothing. How can I give you double when I only have single?

00:32:07.720 --> 00:32:12.120
How can I give you double when I don't have double to give?

00:32:12.200 --> 00:32:15.160
I only have what I have. How can I double it and give it to you?

00:32:15.160 --> 00:32:19.960
You can ask for it, God will give it. But God gives it through the agency of man.

00:32:19.960 --> 00:32:23.080
We want our inheritances without man.

00:32:23.080 --> 00:32:28.040
Ain't gonna happen.

00:32:28.040 --> 00:32:35.040
Some of us will be so poor not because of our lack of passion but because of a blooming stubbornness.

00:32:42.120 --> 00:32:47.680
Please challenge me, push back if I'm wrong.

00:32:47.680 --> 00:32:51.240
So let me

00:32:51.240 --> 00:32:57.000
phrase it again. My job is to position myself

00:32:57.000 --> 00:33:01.640
in order. As in God has an order here on earth. I gotta get into that order. When I'm a

00:33:01.640 --> 00:33:04.880
child I have to be with my parents. When I'm in a church I'll have to

00:33:04.880 --> 00:33:08.920
follow the order of the church. Arrangement. God arranges things a certain way.

00:33:09.880 --> 00:33:14.360
At work you know how to arrange yourself in a certain way. You know that you've got to behave like this here.

00:33:14.360 --> 00:33:18.120
You've got a responsibility. You know how to fit. In the same way we've got to fit.

00:33:18.120 --> 00:33:23.240
As you do and as you begin to run this way, God will say, hey there's no way I cannot release what

00:33:23.240 --> 00:33:27.000
I had planned for you right from the beginning. Your inheritance doesn't come from a human being.

00:33:27.000 --> 00:33:32.120
It comes from God. And it's beautiful, it's brilliant, it was tailor-made for you.

00:33:32.120 --> 00:33:36.200
Only you can walk in it. If you don't walk in it, he'll give you multiple chances and then he'll say,

00:33:36.280 --> 00:33:39.880
well you might as well come and enjoy your mansion in heaven. Let me give this to someone else.

00:33:41.640 --> 00:33:48.200
He wants you to have it because it was tailor-made for James. You try to walk in his shoes,

00:33:48.200 --> 00:33:53.880
it ain't going to work man. It was made for James. But James will only get it through the agency of

00:33:53.880 --> 00:33:59.320
man because it doesn't come flying down from heaven. It has to be modeled, taught and then presented.

00:34:06.200 --> 00:34:13.880
So, how do we know if we are being called to give someone our inheritance? My heart towards anybody

00:34:13.880 --> 00:34:19.640
who comes to me should be that of a father. And if my heart is that of a father, then the father in

00:34:19.640 --> 00:34:28.520
heaven will give whatever he needs through me. My heart should be that of, it doesn't matter whether

00:34:28.520 --> 00:34:35.160
you're younger. You could be 30 and I could be 57 and you could still be someone who has the heart

00:34:35.160 --> 00:34:41.960
of the father towards me. And if you have that heart towards me, I will get whatever God wants

00:34:41.960 --> 00:34:47.080
to give me through you. Why? Because your heart towards me is that of a father. How will I not

00:34:47.080 --> 00:34:54.600
receive from you if your heart towards me is that way? It's natural for me to receive from you then.

00:34:54.600 --> 00:35:12.840
What we did yesterday. You received. I wouldn't budge. He wanted to know something. We sat at

00:35:12.840 --> 00:35:20.600
wings in Richmond and I repeated the same question about 50 times and he received what he was supposed

00:35:20.600 --> 00:35:27.320
to receive. You do that with the ayah. You do that with the ayah. I used to hate my dad when he

00:35:27.320 --> 00:35:32.920
used to do that. He could easily solve my math problem. Just give me the answer. No, he'll make

00:35:32.920 --> 00:35:39.800
me work through it. Prophetic words may give you the direction and the answer, but this is a process

00:35:39.800 --> 00:35:43.240
where you don't get the answer or the thing. You get the process and you get there, man.

00:35:43.240 --> 00:35:54.360
Guys, everyone here can be like this because you have a father. This is not some special thing.

00:35:55.800 --> 00:36:03.080
You have a father. You can reflect his heart. Others can benefit. They will get what they need

00:36:03.080 --> 00:36:08.600
to get because you have decided you will cultivate the heart of the father. When I was driving here

00:36:09.160 --> 00:36:12.920
to my father, too many confessions.

00:36:25.800 --> 00:36:28.840
I was thinking of this today. I was thinking of if I went around this church,

00:36:29.400 --> 00:36:33.480
what could I learn from different people? I was fascinated at the things I could learn from

00:36:33.480 --> 00:36:37.080
different people. Passers rarely think like that. This was one of those weak moments.

00:36:39.480 --> 00:36:44.120
Because you only think people benefit from you. You don't benefit from anybody. I was going around

00:36:44.120 --> 00:36:48.280
the room and I was thinking of different people. What I could benefit from Sheldon, what I could

00:36:48.280 --> 00:36:53.160
benefit from Subin, what I could benefit from Sue, what I could benefit from Jillian, what I could

00:36:53.160 --> 00:36:59.400
benefit from Evan. Things that they do much better than me in my life that if they actually

00:36:59.400 --> 00:37:08.360
helped me, I could improve in it. I was fascinated. In some cases, it was honesty. In other cases,

00:37:08.360 --> 00:37:19.240
it was this irritating integrity. Different things. Things that annoy me about you but are so God.

00:37:26.760 --> 00:37:28.680
Consistency, generosity,

00:37:31.720 --> 00:37:32.200
kindness.

00:37:32.920 --> 00:37:35.000
Nick is one of the kindest guys in this room.

00:37:40.920 --> 00:37:43.000
Don't let it go to your head. Let it stay in your heart.

00:37:49.480 --> 00:37:54.440
Your responsibility is to position yourself in the order and arrangement of God here on earth.

00:37:55.000 --> 00:37:59.000
Then God just releases and rewards you with portions of your inheritance.

00:37:59.080 --> 00:38:03.400
Man cannot give you an inheritance. A man can only give you what he has. He cannot give you double.

00:38:03.400 --> 00:38:09.240
Only God can give you double. It's odd. Elijah is kind of echoing what Jesus says later.

00:38:10.040 --> 00:38:14.600
John and his brother James come and say, we want to sit on your right hand side. It was like

00:38:14.600 --> 00:38:19.960
a special place. What did Jesus say? Ain't up to me. It's up to the father. It's kind of saying

00:38:19.960 --> 00:38:24.680
exactly what Elijah is saying. Oh, you want a double portion? Ain't up to me. It's up to God.

00:38:24.840 --> 00:38:30.840
If you see me, then it'll happen. Your inheritance comes from God. Come on, man. You got to run as a

00:38:30.840 --> 00:38:35.160
firstborn. You really want to turn up in heaven without having handled your inheritance and you

00:38:35.160 --> 00:38:41.160
think it's going to be given to you without the agency of man? Stop being foolish. I hope I'm

00:38:41.160 --> 00:38:46.600
being nasty enough. It'll only come to the agency of man.

00:38:46.920 --> 00:38:55.000
It'll only come to the agency of man. Harry can spend the next two weeks being all nice and,

00:38:55.000 --> 00:39:00.200
hi, how are you? And how's the weather? And what do you guys eat if you don't eat kangaroo?

00:39:00.200 --> 00:39:06.840
And stuff like that. He can say stuff like that and he can either coast on the surface or he can

00:39:06.840 --> 00:39:11.480
dive deeper like those ducks that go underwater whenever you try to catch them. Oh my God, I went

00:39:11.960 --> 00:39:16.440
trying to catch those ducks. Every time I'd get close to them because I wanted to catch one and

00:39:16.440 --> 00:39:21.640
bring it to school for show and tell. But every time you'd go try to catch them, they'd dive

00:39:21.640 --> 00:39:26.120
under. So I came back to class and they wouldn't let me in because I was wet from here down. But

00:39:26.120 --> 00:39:31.320
that's a different story. The point is he can either coast or he can dive in deeper and say,

00:39:31.320 --> 00:39:37.880
okay, what is it that I need from here? Why have I been brought here? What is that I need? You

00:39:38.040 --> 00:39:42.920
have to ask him. Why have I been brought here? What is that I need here? Or he can be friends

00:39:42.920 --> 00:39:47.800
with all of us, be Facebook friends, Instagram and all this stuff and he can go home happy with

00:39:47.800 --> 00:39:52.520
another 20 friends. He's got to ask this because he's got only two weeks. That's why I'm picking on

00:39:52.520 --> 00:40:00.440
him. Don't worry, they aren't zooming in on you.

00:40:08.680 --> 00:40:14.360
Cultivate relationships with people you think you need things from guys. Cultivate

00:40:15.560 --> 00:40:18.520
cultivate relationships with

00:40:21.080 --> 00:40:24.200
people you think you need things from. Be with people you think

00:40:27.720 --> 00:40:30.440
you need things from.

00:40:30.440 --> 00:40:41.000
Cultivate relationships with people you think you need things from.

00:40:55.240 --> 00:40:59.640
Yeah, because the inheritance is from God. If I don't give it to you Brandon,

00:40:59.640 --> 00:41:02.200
God will bring it to you anyways because you're running like crazy

00:41:02.840 --> 00:41:05.160
and he'll hold me responsible for not releasing it to you.

00:41:10.200 --> 00:41:15.000
Thank God that man can't keep what God wants to give me away from me

00:41:17.800 --> 00:41:21.800
because if it was left to man we'd all suffer because we mess up.

00:41:21.800 --> 00:41:27.400
So does that mean it'll come to someone else?

00:41:27.400 --> 00:41:32.360
Does that mean it'll come to someone else? God will use any agency he wants to. He'll say I'm

00:41:32.360 --> 00:41:40.280
done with humans let me use a donkey. Yeah really it doesn't matter how he'll accomplish what he

00:41:40.280 --> 00:41:46.760
wants to. He'll use unbelievers sometimes to open doors for you man because believers ain't working.

00:41:46.760 --> 00:41:50.760
Or he'll use someone really young and obnoxious to do it for you.

00:41:56.920 --> 00:42:02.360
Cultivate relationships with people you think you need things from because most things that God wants

00:42:02.360 --> 00:42:09.320
to do in terms of releasing an inheritance to you comes generationally, comes through revelation,

00:42:09.320 --> 00:42:13.320
and comes through relationship. So it's a good thing to do.

00:42:13.800 --> 00:42:20.440
Cultivate relationships with people that you think you need things from.

00:42:21.320 --> 00:42:27.880
Think you need things from especially God things. If you begin to realize that this is someone,

00:42:27.880 --> 00:42:31.320
I'll give you an example of I know some of you have heard this a million times

00:42:31.320 --> 00:42:36.440
but some of you haven't. When I met Paul's dad the first time in 2005,

00:42:37.240 --> 00:42:45.160
I knew he had what I needed but I wasn't sure if I wanted to connect to him because I was scared

00:42:45.160 --> 00:42:48.200
that if I connect to him then what if there are better people in the market?

00:42:51.480 --> 00:42:58.040
What if I didn't like him? What if he was abrasive? What if he put too much pressure on me? So when I

00:42:58.040 --> 00:43:04.040
met his dad from 2005 to 2007 I tried to keep a healthy distance but he would keep writing.

00:43:04.680 --> 00:43:09.160
I would just keep him at a healthy distance. Finally I invited him to Vancouver in 2007

00:43:09.160 --> 00:43:14.360
and then his flights got cancelled and I started praising the Lord saying thank God it didn't work

00:43:14.360 --> 00:43:19.560
out. And instead of leaving the flights cancelled he rebooked another flight and he turned up.

00:43:19.560 --> 00:43:21.960
And I'm thinking to myself gosh now I'll have to deal with this for a week.

00:43:23.240 --> 00:43:30.680
And eventually changed our lives as a church but the point is that sometimes

00:43:30.760 --> 00:43:31.880
that sometimes

00:43:34.840 --> 00:43:40.760
sometimes going down this path is not easy man because I like my freedom, I like my maverickness,

00:43:40.760 --> 00:43:45.880
I like being an authority unto myself, I like being the commander in chief of my own life,

00:43:45.880 --> 00:43:50.280
I like being the architect of my life, I don't like someone else telling me what to do.

00:43:55.320 --> 00:44:00.120
It is that independent evil streak in all of us whether you like it or not. You see that in

00:44:00.120 --> 00:44:08.440
marriages, you see that in lives of single people too. This is why this idea of coach,

00:44:09.880 --> 00:44:15.720
mentor is much pleasanter. A coach will only teach you how to kick the ball,

00:44:16.520 --> 00:44:21.880
he won't teach you anything else. Mentors also and so what's the process now? You go and ask

00:44:21.880 --> 00:44:25.720
them a question they'll ask you 20 other questions back so that you can arrive at the answer.

00:44:26.680 --> 00:44:29.960
Try doing that with your kid when your kid comes to ask you a question.

00:44:30.760 --> 00:44:35.320
Let me ask you 20 questions and you ask the kid 20 questions. Is that how it really works? It's

00:44:35.320 --> 00:44:44.600
not how it works. We've created these really absurd forms. We got no problem calling someone

00:44:45.480 --> 00:44:51.000
right reverent but we got a problem using terms like apostle and prophet. We got no problems

00:44:51.560 --> 00:44:57.720
calling someone mentor, coach, spiritual guide, life guide but we will not approach the idea of

00:44:57.720 --> 00:45:04.360
alas alas my father. Jesus does say that do not call any man your father. Absolutely don't call

00:45:04.360 --> 00:45:11.000
anybody your father or join the catholic church but the intent was not call someone father but

00:45:11.000 --> 00:45:14.760
can I come into a relationship where I begin to learn that way?

00:45:14.760 --> 00:45:19.640
Thank God for the people that God sent into my life. I pray God that you have people in your

00:45:19.640 --> 00:45:24.680
lives too that will do this for you. We are not looking for a relationship. We are looking for

00:45:24.680 --> 00:45:31.320
growth guides. Very often what happens is I want a relationship first with Harry from Australia

00:45:31.320 --> 00:45:35.880
and if the relationship works then I'll grow. No you're not after a blooming relationship.

00:45:35.880 --> 00:45:39.400
You're after growth and you're after the inheritance that your father has for you.

00:45:39.640 --> 00:45:42.840
Run after that and the relationship will come. Reverse it.

00:45:49.000 --> 00:45:50.040
I'm getting too passionate.

00:45:53.720 --> 00:45:58.440
This kind of inheritance doesn't happen overnight. This kind of inheritance doesn't happen overnight.

00:45:58.440 --> 00:46:03.560
You can't flip a switch. This began years ago when Elisha kissed his father.

00:46:03.560 --> 00:46:08.120
This kind of inheritance doesn't happen overnight. You can't flip a switch. This began years ago when

00:46:08.120 --> 00:46:15.320
Elisha kissed his father and mother goodbye, burnt up his plow, cut his oxen and walked away.

00:46:15.320 --> 00:46:20.120
This started long ago and then he kept washing Elijah's hands. Every time Elijah would eat,

00:46:20.120 --> 00:46:27.320
Elisha would be there with a bowl to wash his hands. This cannot be flipped on just in a second.

00:46:28.280 --> 00:46:33.400
He left his home and his past to follow Elijah the day he cast his mantle on him.

00:46:33.400 --> 00:46:39.160
See many are called. I know you know many are called and few are chosen. I want to add a bit to it.

00:46:39.160 --> 00:46:47.080
Many are called but few choose to be chosen. Many are called but few choose to be chosen.

00:46:48.440 --> 00:46:53.960
Many are called but few choose to be chosen. Few choose to say okay I know I'm called but now I

00:46:53.960 --> 00:46:59.320
want to be chosen to receive what I need to receive. Many are called but few choose to be chosen

00:46:59.960 --> 00:47:05.640
because to choose to be chosen requires now a different walk man but it's so worth it because

00:47:05.640 --> 00:47:10.200
one day you got to do it for somebody else. You got to do it for somebody else. This is what we

00:47:10.200 --> 00:47:14.760
desire of our children. What is the desire for your children? That they'll grow up to be better

00:47:14.760 --> 00:47:20.200
than you. That they'll grow up one day to do things you could never do. That they'll grow up one day to

00:47:20.200 --> 00:47:26.120
be miles ahead of you and then secretly also wish they'll take care of you when they grow old.

00:47:30.760 --> 00:47:34.440
I remember when mom asked me you didn't get married who's going to take care of you when you're old.

00:47:35.080 --> 00:47:39.880
I think of all of you but somehow she's not convinced so.

00:47:39.880 --> 00:47:45.640
Listen to this line eh. There is a hunger. There is a hunger

00:47:51.640 --> 00:48:01.640
after God. There is a hunger after God triggered by those

00:48:01.640 --> 00:48:07.400
who are hungry after God triggered by those

00:48:11.400 --> 00:48:16.600
triggered by triggered by walking triggered by walking with those

00:48:19.560 --> 00:48:27.400
who are hungry after God.

00:48:27.400 --> 00:48:33.160
There is a hunger after God that is triggered by walking with those who are hungry after God.

00:48:33.160 --> 00:48:39.160
It won't come any other way.

00:48:39.160 --> 00:48:50.920
The problem is the distance we maintain. The distance we maintain to be safe. The distance we maintain

00:48:54.040 --> 00:48:56.920
to be safe.

00:48:57.720 --> 00:49:03.560
The distance we maintain. The distance we maintain to be safe. The distance we maintain

00:49:06.920 --> 00:49:08.440
to be safe.

00:49:11.880 --> 00:49:19.960
But this is critical and I've said this before but I used to yearn and beg the pastor in the church.

00:49:19.960 --> 00:49:25.080
I was that before I came to Canada every time I'd go to pick up people that were coming to preach.

00:49:25.080 --> 00:49:30.920
I'd say can I please come I'll be quiet I won't say a word can I please carry their bags please

00:49:30.920 --> 00:49:35.960
and he would take me. I would sit there in the back seat like a fly on the wall like a fat fly on

00:49:35.960 --> 00:49:43.720
the wall and I would sorry that came on my mistake and don't use words like that it's not right.

00:49:44.280 --> 00:49:52.760
Yeah I would sit there and I would just listen to the conversation and get so rich listening to the

00:49:52.760 --> 00:49:58.440
conversation. I'd one day I'd think one day I'll talk like this. I don't even know what talk it was

00:49:58.440 --> 00:50:02.280
but most of the time I wouldn't understand but there was this thing man that was happening.

00:50:03.480 --> 00:50:06.840
There is a hunger after God triggered by walking with those who are hungry after God.

00:50:16.360 --> 00:50:19.240
You see Joshua watching Moses disappear into the clouds.

00:50:20.040 --> 00:50:25.480
Live examples you see Joshua watching Moses. Moses is being called up the mountain. Joshua goes half

00:50:25.480 --> 00:50:31.960
way up and he's waiting there and then a cloud comes and covers Moses and now he's above the

00:50:31.960 --> 00:50:41.560
clouds having a one-on-one with Yahweh and Joshua is waiting there. You see Peter and John with Jesus.

00:50:43.800 --> 00:50:47.400
Peter's even saying stuff he doesn't know like can we build three tents.

00:50:47.480 --> 00:50:54.040
So Moses and Elijah and you can hang out together but he's there. Peter was always there.

00:50:56.200 --> 00:51:01.080
He watches. Elijah is the same. He's walking with Elijah and he's watching him being taken away in

00:51:01.080 --> 00:51:09.320
a whirlwind. There is something to this guys. You can come up with a myriad excuses as to why it

00:51:09.320 --> 00:51:15.080
doesn't work but start with the premise that it is the God ordained way for things to happen.

00:51:15.080 --> 00:51:21.880
Begin there. God is the one who does this and if man doesn't give you what God wants him to give

00:51:21.880 --> 00:51:27.560
you, God will replace the man and give you what you're supposed to get because he's so interested

00:51:27.560 --> 00:51:32.200
and invested in you to the same degree that he's interested and invested in Jesus Christ is the

00:51:32.200 --> 00:51:37.320
same interest that he has in you and the things that Jesus finished have now to be completely done

00:51:37.560 --> 00:51:39.400
across the earth and he will do it through you.

00:51:44.200 --> 00:51:45.960
These are guaranteed outcomes.

00:51:51.240 --> 00:51:53.400
There's a reason why Jesus didn't have pedigree

00:51:54.360 --> 00:51:56.920
because he knew half the guys in the church would be without pedigree.

00:51:56.920 --> 00:52:03.480
These men like Peter and John like Elijah and like Joshua paid a price to be present as these

00:52:04.920 --> 00:52:09.560
giants of fathers ascended and every time they ascended and they waited and watched the spirit

00:52:09.560 --> 00:52:14.040
would descend and they would fill these youngsters, these young men and women,

00:52:14.040 --> 00:52:17.880
they would be filled with the Holy Spirit and John 14 12 would come to pass and what did John

00:52:17.880 --> 00:52:25.080
what does John 14 12 say? It's Jesus is with us. He's with us. He's with us. He's with us.

00:52:25.960 --> 00:52:31.880
It's Jesus's words. Listen, you will do greater things than I have ever done.

00:52:33.480 --> 00:52:35.720
I can say that to so many people in this church

00:52:37.960 --> 00:52:42.040
that you will do greater things than I could have ever done. You know what his dad says to me,

00:52:42.680 --> 00:52:48.440
his dad is now what how old 80, 81. You know what he says to me every time he sees me, Jacob you are

00:52:48.440 --> 00:52:53.880
doing so much more than I could have done. You have gone so many other places. I taught you but

00:52:53.960 --> 00:52:57.640
you do so much more than I could have done. That's what his dad says to me

00:53:00.920 --> 00:53:04.360
and you think he's sad about it. A fellow is better than me. No,

00:53:04.360 --> 00:53:07.320
he's thrilled about it. Every time his dad sees me he weeps.

00:53:13.880 --> 00:53:18.840
True. Sometimes I don't know who his dad loves more, me or him.

00:53:24.440 --> 00:53:28.440
I think it's me.

00:53:34.920 --> 00:53:41.640
At the end of the day, when his dad exits the earth, his dad's exit should intensify

00:53:44.360 --> 00:53:50.040
the strength of what I do here. When I exit the earth, it should intensify the strength that is

00:53:50.360 --> 00:53:57.000
upon you. Because as Elijah's leave, Elijah's must step up to a whole new degree. Please don't think

00:53:57.000 --> 00:54:02.200
for a second that there's, I'm calling myself Elijah, I'm calling some of the older ones in

00:54:02.200 --> 00:54:07.960
this room who have walked this before Elijah's. And it is up to us to behave like Elijah's so that

00:54:07.960 --> 00:54:15.000
Elijah's can do better than us. And it's not an age thing. Just in case you thought, oh he now

00:54:15.080 --> 00:54:18.920
thinks he's Jacob Elijah John. No, I'm not.

00:54:23.320 --> 00:54:26.520
There are moments when those thoughts cross but I get rid of them quickly.

00:54:29.400 --> 00:54:35.880
Let's conclude. I love what happens in verse 10ish. He says, if you see me,

00:54:36.840 --> 00:54:43.080
if you see me, if you see me taken away, if you see me taken away,

00:54:45.800 --> 00:54:47.000
if you see me taken away.

00:54:51.240 --> 00:54:57.480
You know, we think that Elijah went up in a chariot. He didn't go up in a chariot.

00:54:58.280 --> 00:55:04.600
What happens is, while they're walking, suddenly chariots of fire and horses of fire appear.

00:55:04.600 --> 00:55:10.600
And those chariots and fire and horses of fire divide Elijah from Elisha. So let's assume this

00:55:10.600 --> 00:55:16.120
was a chariot of fire and chariot of horses. What happens is Elisha's on this side, Elijah's on that

00:55:16.120 --> 00:55:20.680
side and the chariots of fire and horses are in between. Elijah didn't go up in a chariot.

00:55:21.400 --> 00:55:26.040
A whirlwind comes and grabs him and takes him away. And the chariots of fire and the chariots

00:55:26.040 --> 00:55:32.920
of horses were basically a legion of angels. And surprisingly, there were legions of angels

00:55:32.920 --> 00:55:39.080
when Enoch left. Enoch talks about in Jude chapter 1 verse 14. In Jude 1 14, Enoch talks about in a

00:55:39.080 --> 00:55:44.520
world of wickedness, the Lord comes with his angels to rescue. In Elisha's case, again, there's

00:55:44.520 --> 00:55:52.040
this legion of angels that comes to take Elijah home. In 1 Timothy 3 16, it says, Jesus was received

00:55:52.040 --> 00:55:57.880
by the angels. There is something to, once we begin to walk like this, a strange thing happens.

00:55:57.880 --> 00:56:03.080
You become to the enemy, the chariots of Israel, and you become to the people of God, protection

00:56:03.080 --> 00:56:07.960
and deliverance. Hear me again. I need to write that down. When we begin to walk like this, a strange

00:56:07.960 --> 00:56:28.360
thing happens. You become, you become to the enemy, the chariots of God. You become to the people of God.

00:56:28.360 --> 00:56:40.760
Who's that? Who? Well, Sheldon, of course. You become to the people of God, protection and deliverance.

00:56:46.440 --> 00:56:51.480
This was one of Elijah's roles. One of Elijah's roles was, hey, as long as I'm here on earth with

00:56:51.480 --> 00:56:58.280
you guys as Israel, I will give you the divine protection and the deliverance that you require

00:56:58.280 --> 00:57:05.800
by the authority that I walk in. And I will be to the enemy, the chariots of God and the

00:57:05.800 --> 00:57:11.320
horsemen of God. This is something that we are supposed to exert once we begin to walk like this.

00:57:11.320 --> 00:57:19.240
You do that for your family, man. A passionate, spirit-filled parent, father or mother, can be

00:57:19.240 --> 00:57:24.200
this to their children, where to their children they become deliverance and protection, and to

00:57:24.200 --> 00:57:31.320
the enemy they become the chariotry of Israel. You keep escalating the level. As a pastor,

00:57:31.320 --> 00:57:37.160
you think when I go to different nations and you're here and I put someone in charge, you think

00:57:37.160 --> 00:57:43.560
I do not call what is required to keep you safe? One of the things we need to perish from our heads,

00:57:43.560 --> 00:57:47.800
and if you think so, you need to perish it, is that I am safe because I have a good relationship

00:57:47.800 --> 00:57:51.720
with Christ. You try having a good relationship with Christ and leave this body or leave the

00:57:51.720 --> 00:57:57.000
church and see how you function. Let me say that again, not this church, I'm not talking about Acts

00:57:57.000 --> 00:58:02.600
29. Leave the body of Christ and function as a Christian with a good relationship with Christ,

00:58:02.600 --> 00:58:09.080
and you will see how difficult life will get. Your protection is because of what you are a part of.

00:58:09.800 --> 00:58:13.880
You have no idea how much the body of Christ protects you. Look around you, these are the

00:58:13.880 --> 00:58:20.680
people that pray for you. When I isolate myself from the body because I have a good relationship

00:58:20.680 --> 00:58:27.720
with Jesus Christ, it doesn't work. Paul used it almost as a means of discipline saying,

00:58:27.720 --> 00:58:32.040
excommunicate him, put him out of the body, and then he will realize what Satan can do to him.

00:58:33.160 --> 00:58:37.640
We don't realize how much of our protection comes because we are part of something called

00:58:37.640 --> 00:58:47.400
the body of Christ of whom Jesus Christ is ahead. There is so much protection. I'm not talking about

00:58:47.400 --> 00:58:52.920
Acts 29. I'm talking about the body of Christ. So if you think your personal relationship is

00:58:52.920 --> 00:59:03.560
keeping you healthy, got a newsflash for you, it ain't you. I never think like that

00:59:04.680 --> 00:59:07.480
because that would be a recipe for disaster.

00:59:07.480 --> 00:59:28.040
Let me go to if you see. If you see. Guys, this is so precious. A mind that is willing

00:59:28.200 --> 00:59:42.440
to be transformed or if you want to take a simpler word, changed, will see.

00:59:43.800 --> 00:59:49.800
A mind that is willing to be transformed or changed will see. That's the only requirement.

00:59:50.440 --> 00:59:57.000
Do I have a mind that is willing to be changed at any age? At any age, do I have a mind that is

00:59:57.000 --> 01:00:06.440
willing to be changed? In any culture, in any denomination, in any way of thinking, will I keep

01:00:06.440 --> 01:00:13.480
my mind open to be transformed by God? If I have a mind that is willing to be transformed, I will see.

01:00:17.560 --> 01:00:23.320
And seeing always leads to permission.

01:00:27.080 --> 01:00:28.440
But changing in the mind

01:00:33.000 --> 01:00:41.160
requires you to be counter-cultural and counter-intuitive.

01:00:44.840 --> 01:00:49.640
So Jesus asks a question for many of his disciples. Who do you say I am?

01:00:51.240 --> 01:00:54.760
And so here are the standard replies coming from different disciples. They're saying

01:00:54.840 --> 01:00:58.040
some say you're a prophet, some say you're a teacher, some say you're like Elijah.

01:00:58.040 --> 01:01:02.920
And so he repeats the question. Who do you say I am? And then one man has the ability to be

01:01:02.920 --> 01:01:08.680
counter-intuitive, counter-cultural. And his answer is you are Jesus Christ, the Son of the

01:01:08.680 --> 01:01:15.720
Living God. That statement about a man has never been made on the earth before. This guy goes against

01:01:16.600 --> 01:01:20.040
years of history, goes against everything that is Hebraic.

01:01:20.760 --> 01:01:24.840
He looks at a carpenter and he says something so counter-intuitive, so counter-cultural,

01:01:24.840 --> 01:01:29.320
he says Jesus Christ, you're the Son of the Living God. Here is a man who was a fisherman

01:01:29.320 --> 01:01:35.320
who was willing to have his mind changed. And once his mind changed, he begins to see.

01:01:35.320 --> 01:01:40.520
What does he see? Jesus himself says you need to understand that this revelation did not come to

01:01:40.520 --> 01:01:45.320
you from the earth, it came to you from the Father. Then he says I now give you permission. Here are

01:01:45.320 --> 01:01:52.840
the keys of the kingdom. Years later, he's standing in Jerusalem and he takes that key

01:01:52.840 --> 01:01:55.320
and he opens the door and 3,000 people get saved.

01:01:58.920 --> 01:02:05.240
Seeing always leads to permission. May you as you get older, and I'm looking at some of the older

01:02:05.240 --> 01:02:11.960
ones here, may you as you get older please choose to continuously have your mind transformed.

01:02:11.960 --> 01:02:16.680
A desire to have your mind transformed. That's all God is asking. Can you give me a desire saying

01:02:16.680 --> 01:02:20.440
please oh God as I grow older keep changing my mind, keep transforming my mind, keep transforming

01:02:20.440 --> 01:02:27.000
my mind, I plead with you please Lord, please let my mind be changed. That desire and passion if

01:02:27.000 --> 01:02:29.640
you have, He takes it and works with it.

01:02:29.720 --> 01:02:40.440
Seeing. These are the ingredients. Pursuit. You know, purity. Why? Because blessed are those that

01:02:40.440 --> 01:02:47.560
appear, they shall see God. Pursuit is absolutely required. Persistence. Pursuit is absolutely

01:02:47.560 --> 01:02:53.960
required. Pursuit is absolutely required. Pursuit is absolutely required. Pursuit is absolutely

01:02:54.040 --> 01:02:57.560
required. Pursuit is absolutely required. Pursuit is absolutely required. Pursuit is absolutely

01:02:57.560 --> 01:02:59.240
required. Persistence.

01:03:03.800 --> 01:03:10.520
Pruning. Practice. Whenever you can't see or hear God, go down this road.

01:03:11.560 --> 01:03:15.640
Whenever you can't see or hear God, go down this road. Father, can't see you but I ain't going to

01:03:15.640 --> 01:03:21.720
stop pursuing you because I know sometimes you hide. I know sometimes you want me to search. I

01:03:21.720 --> 01:03:26.680
know sometimes you want me to stumble over things I didn't even know were there and find out things.

01:03:26.680 --> 01:03:32.120
I'll keep pursuing you. So here I come. How do I pursue you? I'll pursue you with a sawdust like

01:03:32.120 --> 01:03:35.560
song. Even though I'm singing it, I don't mean a word of it. I'm going to keep singing it though

01:03:35.560 --> 01:03:41.080
it tastes like sawdust and then suddenly it'll burst in my mouth. Pursuit. What happens next?

01:03:41.080 --> 01:03:46.040
Purity. Blessed are the pure for they shall see God. Father, nothing's working for me but I am

01:03:46.040 --> 01:03:51.080
going to continue giving you a life that is separated and pure because it is such an easy

01:03:51.080 --> 01:03:57.640
way to see God because I get to ascend the hill of the Lord. Persistence. You think I won't persist?

01:03:57.640 --> 01:04:02.600
I'm better than Jacob. I can wrestle and hold on to you. Not for till the dawn. I can handle you

01:04:02.600 --> 01:04:09.000
till the dusk, oh God. Try me. I ain't going to stop. I know what you told me. I will have it because

01:04:09.000 --> 01:04:14.920
you said it. You are faithful. Therefore, I shall have it. What 12 years? What 13 years? I'll wait 14

01:04:14.920 --> 01:04:18.920
but I shall have it. Why? Because you're a God who's faithful and I'll show you what I can do.

01:04:19.880 --> 01:04:25.480
Do not give him rest. Isaiah 62 verse 8 and 9. God says to Israel, listen, do not give me rest.

01:04:27.000 --> 01:04:34.360
Do not give me rest. He's literally saying come, persist, harass. Do not give me rest. Isaiah 62

01:04:34.360 --> 01:04:44.120
verse 9 and 8. I waited patiently for the Lord. He turned and heard my cry. He lifted me up, put my

01:04:44.280 --> 01:04:50.040
feet on a rock and gave me a song and put a song in my mouth. Now, now many shall see, many shall

01:04:50.040 --> 01:04:57.320
fear and put their trust in the Lord. Sometimes it is okay for him to wait while things are changing

01:04:57.320 --> 01:05:04.360
in your life and people are watching because it's going to turn to your benefit. What an enemy meant

01:05:04.360 --> 01:05:12.920
for evil. You always turn it to good. Persistence. Pruning. During the process, God will chip away at

01:05:12.920 --> 01:05:16.040
branch here that's useless and branch there that's useless. So what? Big deal.

01:05:20.360 --> 01:05:26.440
And then practice. Revelation that is not practiced is just information on knowledge.

01:05:26.440 --> 01:05:31.240
Revelation that is not practiced is knowledge. Knowledge puffs up. Revelation that is not

01:05:31.240 --> 01:05:37.240
practiced is knowledge. Knowledge puffs up. Revelation that is not practiced is just knowledge.

01:05:37.240 --> 01:05:41.040
Charismatics are crazy about revelation.

01:05:41.040 --> 01:05:42.540
We are charismatics.

01:05:42.540 --> 01:05:43.840
We are Baptists.

01:05:43.840 --> 01:05:45.440
We are Baptists in Charismatics.

01:05:45.440 --> 01:05:48.840
Charismatics are crazy about revelation,

01:05:48.840 --> 01:05:52.740
but when it's not practiced, it just becomes knowledge.

01:05:52.740 --> 01:05:53.840
And what does knowledge do?

01:05:53.840 --> 01:05:55.340
Knowledge always puffs up.

01:06:00.340 --> 01:06:01.540
Last point.

01:06:02.540 --> 01:06:07.140
So please, please see.

01:06:07.140 --> 01:06:08.140
Don't be blind.

01:06:08.140 --> 01:06:10.440
Please see.

01:06:10.440 --> 01:06:11.140
Don't be blind.

01:06:11.140 --> 01:06:14.440
You know, my mom's eyesight has been deteriorating.

01:06:14.440 --> 01:06:16.240
And this time when I went to meet her,

01:06:16.240 --> 01:06:20.940
I realized that her eyesight had deteriorated to the point

01:06:20.940 --> 01:06:23.840
where if she's in a dark room, it's very dark.

01:06:23.840 --> 01:06:25.740
But if you bring her out into the bright light,

01:06:25.740 --> 01:06:26.540
it is too bright.

01:06:26.540 --> 01:06:30.740
That's what happens when we don't follow these five.

01:06:31.940 --> 01:06:33.240
God will bring us into a dark room,

01:06:33.240 --> 01:06:35.240
and we won't know how to make our way.

01:06:35.240 --> 01:06:37.040
God will bring us into bright light,

01:06:37.040 --> 01:06:38.440
and we still won't be able to make our way

01:06:38.440 --> 01:06:40.040
because it's too bright.

01:06:40.040 --> 01:06:43.240
So the only place my mom operates with absolute confidence

01:06:43.240 --> 01:06:46.040
is in places that are familiar.

01:06:46.040 --> 01:06:49.140
She can operate without any help in places that are familiar.

01:06:49.140 --> 01:06:51.440
In her room, she knows how to get everything.

01:06:51.440 --> 01:06:52.540
She won't stumble over everything.

01:06:52.540 --> 01:06:54.340
She knows where everything is.

01:06:54.340 --> 01:06:56.840
That happens to us, where now we begin to operate

01:06:56.840 --> 01:07:00.640
in that which is familiar.

01:07:00.640 --> 01:07:01.440
That's blindness.

01:07:01.440 --> 01:07:05.340
When you have been in a familiar situation for years on end,

01:07:05.340 --> 01:07:09.740
you must entertain the thought that perhaps you are blind.

01:07:13.940 --> 01:07:16.740
Some of us can be willingly blind.

01:07:16.740 --> 01:07:17.340
Hasn't?

01:07:17.340 --> 01:07:19.140
It's okay.

01:07:19.140 --> 01:07:20.640
I've achieved enough.

01:07:20.640 --> 01:07:22.140
Willingly blind.

01:07:22.140 --> 01:07:25.940
Some of us can be traditionally blind.

01:07:25.940 --> 01:07:28.240
Traditions are so deeply ingrained,

01:07:28.240 --> 01:07:29.440
that now we won't drop them.

01:07:29.540 --> 01:07:32.540
And don't think I'm talking about Baptist or Pentecostals.

01:07:32.540 --> 01:07:34.440
I'm talking about you and me.

01:07:34.440 --> 01:07:36.240
Traditions are not denominational traditions,

01:07:36.240 --> 01:07:38.040
although it can be the way I think.

01:07:38.040 --> 01:07:39.240
You think I don't have traditions?

01:07:39.240 --> 01:07:40.140
You've spotted them.

01:07:40.140 --> 01:07:43.340
The only person who doesn't spot traditions is me.

01:07:43.340 --> 01:07:46.640
Traditions are blind spots.

01:07:46.640 --> 01:07:47.740
Traditions are blind spots.

01:07:47.740 --> 01:07:48.740
I have them.

01:07:48.740 --> 01:07:51.140
You know them.

01:07:51.140 --> 01:07:56.340
You're gracious enough or scared enough not to say it to me.

01:07:56.340 --> 01:07:57.540
You have traditions too.

01:08:01.940 --> 01:08:03.140
Traditional blindness.

01:08:04.940 --> 01:08:07.540
Then there is childish blindness.

01:08:09.740 --> 01:08:12.040
Childish blindness where it's just ignorance.

01:08:13.040 --> 01:08:14.140
It's just ignorance.

01:08:14.140 --> 01:08:15.540
That's the easiest to deal with.

01:08:16.740 --> 01:08:21.940
Then there's unbelieving blindness where it's a lack of faith to believe more.

01:08:26.840 --> 01:08:28.340
And then there is stubborn blindness.

01:08:28.340 --> 01:08:29.440
That's the worst day.

01:08:29.440 --> 01:08:32.540
That's perhaps the only thing Jesus finds hard to deal with.

01:08:32.540 --> 01:08:33.940
Stubborn blindness.

01:08:33.940 --> 01:08:36.440
That's when pride is the reason for your blindness.

01:08:36.940 --> 01:08:37.540
Pride.

01:08:40.140 --> 01:08:42.540
What does Jesus do when it's stubborn blindness?

01:08:42.540 --> 01:08:45.540
He does something that is so not God.

01:08:46.140 --> 01:08:47.240
He resists you.

01:08:50.540 --> 01:08:53.340
When you're stubbornly blind, He resists you.

01:08:54.940 --> 01:08:55.540
James.

01:08:56.940 --> 01:08:58.440
I'll give grace to the humble, but I?

01:09:01.040 --> 01:09:03.940
And when God resists you, you're usually humble.

01:09:05.540 --> 01:09:06.540
That's why He resists you.

01:09:08.340 --> 01:09:13.240
That's why I'm scared that as I get older, if I get stubbornly blind and insist on my ways,

01:09:13.240 --> 01:09:17.240
because this is the way I like it, I'm the pastor, so this is the way we'll do it,

01:09:17.940 --> 01:09:18.940
He'll begin to resist me.

01:09:21.440 --> 01:09:21.840
Stop there.

01:09:21.840 --> 01:09:23.440
Next week, we'll talk about the mantle.

01:09:24.540 --> 01:09:25.740
Any questions guys before we go?

01:09:25.740 --> 01:09:26.440
Any questions?

01:09:26.440 --> 01:09:27.240
Feel free to ask.

01:09:27.440 --> 01:09:28.140
Any questions?

01:09:30.540 --> 01:09:32.140
Okay, it's 103.

01:09:32.740 --> 01:09:35.740
Let me take six or seven minutes and ask you these questions.

01:09:38.040 --> 01:09:39.340
Just write down these questions.

01:09:39.740 --> 01:09:41.140
You may not get time to do it now.

01:09:42.340 --> 01:09:43.140
Ask this question.

01:09:43.740 --> 01:09:44.740
Please write them down.

01:09:45.240 --> 01:09:48.740
Because if you're not going to write them down, you're not going to go home and listen to this message.

01:09:49.340 --> 01:09:50.340
And you won't answer it.

01:09:51.040 --> 01:09:52.240
So please don't be poor.

01:09:52.340 --> 01:09:53.240
Please be rich.

01:09:53.240 --> 01:09:53.940
Write it down.

01:09:54.440 --> 01:09:59.940
What would you, what do you want to get from, if this is the church you are planning to attend for a while,

01:10:00.240 --> 01:10:01.840
what do you want to get from this church?

01:10:01.840 --> 01:10:05.640
What are some of the strengths here?

01:10:05.940 --> 01:10:07.240
What is the spirit of this church?

01:10:07.740 --> 01:10:09.140
What is the spirit of this church?

01:10:09.540 --> 01:10:10.740
What do you want to get from here?

01:10:14.540 --> 01:10:15.340
Or what do you want to get?

01:10:16.840 --> 01:10:19.340
What does God want to give you from here?

01:10:19.640 --> 01:10:21.440
And when I talk about a church, I'm talking about people.

01:10:23.940 --> 01:10:25.040
What do you want to get from here?

01:10:32.340 --> 01:10:32.840
Another question.

01:10:32.840 --> 01:10:36.540
Do you think you can actually get your inheritance without this process?

01:10:36.840 --> 01:10:37.540
Answer it honestly.

01:10:37.540 --> 01:10:38.340
I'm not going to ask you.

01:10:38.640 --> 01:10:41.740
Do you think you can actually get your inheritance without this process?

01:10:42.940 --> 01:10:47.240
If you think yes, then just never listen to this message again.

01:10:47.540 --> 01:10:48.940
Or actually listen to it 10 times.

01:10:48.940 --> 01:10:54.540
Do you think you can get your inheritance without this process?

01:10:55.640 --> 01:10:56.540
Do you really think so?

01:10:58.840 --> 01:11:00.240
Yeah, what we've been talking about.

01:11:00.240 --> 01:11:01.440
Do you really think you can get it?

01:11:01.440 --> 01:11:06.140
Because if so, you have to go about it scripturally in your mind.

01:11:06.140 --> 01:11:07.040
Why do you think so?

01:11:09.140 --> 01:11:09.740
Another question.

01:11:09.740 --> 01:11:12.040
Are you after growth first or relationship first?

01:11:13.240 --> 01:11:18.340
Both are super important for things to happen, but are you after growth first or relationship first?

01:11:19.940 --> 01:11:21.540
Growth as in growing in the things of God.

01:11:26.740 --> 01:11:27.340
Another question.

01:11:27.440 --> 01:11:28.740
Who do you have to kiss goodbye?

01:11:29.140 --> 01:11:30.540
Who do you have to kiss goodbye?

01:11:31.640 --> 01:11:33.040
Who do you have to kiss goodbye?

01:11:34.640 --> 01:11:37.740
Culture, parents.

01:11:43.140 --> 01:11:45.440
Yesterday was Emily's birthday, today is Dawn's birthday.

01:11:45.440 --> 01:11:46.940
I don't know how that one got in between.

01:11:49.740 --> 01:11:56.140
Who are you molding after here on earth?

01:11:56.640 --> 01:12:03.140
Who have you knit your heart, your bone and your spirit with?

01:12:03.540 --> 01:12:06.440
Who are you molding after at this present time in your life?

01:12:06.740 --> 01:12:08.040
Who are you molding after?

01:12:08.240 --> 01:12:12.640
If you said Jesus Christ, I want you to know that he died and rose again.

01:12:12.640 --> 01:12:18.840
I want you to know that he died and rose again and isn't here in flesh, but he left his body behind.

01:12:18.840 --> 01:12:20.240
So it will have to be someone in the body.

01:12:20.240 --> 01:12:21.840
So please don't say Jesus Christ.

01:12:24.840 --> 01:12:27.540
Who are you molding after here on earth?

01:12:27.840 --> 01:12:32.540
And who have you knit your bone, your heart, your spirit with?

01:12:33.340 --> 01:12:36.440
Bone after bone, flesh after my flesh, bone after my bone.

01:12:36.540 --> 01:12:37.840
Who have you knit your heart with?

01:12:37.840 --> 01:12:41.540
Are those two even big questions?

01:12:41.540 --> 01:12:44.340
No, it's just one question.

01:12:48.040 --> 01:12:49.640
Where are you struggling to see?

01:12:49.840 --> 01:12:51.040
Where are you struggling to see?

01:12:51.040 --> 01:12:52.440
As in which area are you struggling?

01:12:52.640 --> 01:12:53.640
We talked about seeing.

01:12:53.940 --> 01:12:56.640
Which area are you struggling in when it comes to seeing?

01:13:02.640 --> 01:13:03.140
Last one.

01:13:04.140 --> 01:13:08.340
What do you want from Elijah's or Moses's or Paul's in your life?

01:13:08.540 --> 01:13:09.940
Have you identified them?

01:13:12.240 --> 01:13:13.740
What do you want from their lives?

01:13:19.940 --> 01:13:28.540
I was thinking of this church and I was thinking some of the things that I would want if I was someone who was coming to this church.

01:13:28.940 --> 01:13:31.140
I would love to receive from...

01:13:31.340 --> 01:13:38.640
There's a strange, as in wonderful, knowing of the Father in this church.

01:13:39.340 --> 01:13:44.140
Knowing of the Father in this church that I've never seen anywhere else.

01:13:46.940 --> 01:13:48.140
I used to long for this.

01:13:48.640 --> 01:13:53.840
Again, I feel bad for the old timers in this church because they've heard my story so many times.

01:13:53.840 --> 01:13:57.640
One of the first churches I attended was a church called Juffair Chapel.

01:13:58.040 --> 01:14:00.640
Marcus and Lorian know where that is in Bahrain.

01:14:00.840 --> 01:14:09.240
I'd go to this church and sometimes I'd turn up there early and you would see the pastor talking, but there's nobody else in the church.

01:14:09.640 --> 01:14:13.040
He'd be talking and you would suddenly realize that he's talking to God.

01:14:13.440 --> 01:14:18.040
But the way he would talk to God was so familiar that you would think God was there.

01:14:18.240 --> 01:14:20.040
The first time I started looking around,

01:14:20.240 --> 01:14:25.040
and I remember hearing and I'm saying to myself, man, I wish I had this.

01:14:26.840 --> 01:14:31.440
There's something strange and wonderful about the Father in this church.

01:14:32.840 --> 01:14:34.640
Another thing in this church is hearing.

01:14:35.240 --> 01:14:38.240
People in this church learn to hear over a period of time.

01:14:38.440 --> 01:14:41.640
Third thing is there are patterns this church will...

01:14:44.040 --> 01:14:45.840
Patterns this church will...

01:14:45.840 --> 01:14:49.040
Patterns this church will affect the earth with.

01:14:49.240 --> 01:14:51.440
Not affect the city with, affect the earth with.

01:14:51.640 --> 01:14:54.840
These are earth-changing patterns that will come out of this church.

01:14:55.440 --> 01:14:57.840
People in this church know how to rest and work.

01:14:58.040 --> 01:14:59.040
They don't toil.

01:15:00.640 --> 01:15:04.640
This church loves warring or will love warring.

01:15:05.440 --> 01:15:08.640
This church understands what it is to be sent to the nations.

01:15:11.240 --> 01:15:12.640
This church has order.

01:15:13.640 --> 01:15:15.040
This church has order.

01:15:16.040 --> 01:15:19.240
And this church understands what it means to be part of the body.

01:15:19.640 --> 01:15:20.640
These are things that...

01:15:20.840 --> 01:15:24.240
Some of the things that I wrote down just without even thinking about this church.

01:15:24.640 --> 01:15:26.640
There might be other things. What do you want from this church?

01:15:28.640 --> 01:15:30.640
If I were you, I'd say, all of it.

01:15:33.040 --> 01:15:35.440
Be greedy when it comes to the things of God, eh?

01:15:37.640 --> 01:15:38.640
Be greedy.

01:15:38.840 --> 01:15:40.640
Say no twice and then take all of it.

01:15:40.640 --> 01:15:41.640
Have some... No, no, no.

01:15:41.840 --> 01:15:43.040
No, no, no. Okay.

01:15:45.640 --> 01:15:46.640
Okay.

01:15:47.640 --> 01:15:49.640
Answer these questions, it'll be good for you.

01:15:51.040 --> 01:15:53.040
Yeah. Any questions, guys?

01:15:54.240 --> 01:15:55.240
Go ahead, Nick.

01:16:10.640 --> 01:16:13.640
Like, when you're in the church, how do you arrange yourself here?

01:16:13.840 --> 01:16:17.640
And then when you're not here, it's like how do you be the best in school?

01:16:18.040 --> 01:16:19.040
Yeah.

01:16:20.240 --> 01:16:21.240
Yeah.

01:16:21.640 --> 01:16:23.040
So you want me to explain it?

01:16:23.840 --> 01:16:24.840
No.

01:16:28.240 --> 01:16:29.240
Any other?

01:16:29.640 --> 01:16:30.640
Go ahead, Nick.

01:16:37.240 --> 01:16:40.240
Okay, so you invite me to Richmond Christian.

01:16:40.640 --> 01:16:41.840
To talk to your kids.

01:16:42.440 --> 01:16:44.240
And so I'm coming to your class.

01:16:44.840 --> 01:16:46.640
And I'm your pastor.

01:16:46.840 --> 01:16:47.840
And I'm older than you.

01:16:49.640 --> 01:16:52.240
And yet, when I come to your class, I come and tell you,

01:16:52.440 --> 01:16:54.240
hey, Nick, this is what I want to talk about.

01:16:54.440 --> 01:16:55.440
What do you think?

01:16:55.640 --> 01:16:56.840
How much time do I have?

01:16:57.040 --> 01:16:58.640
I can't take one and a half hours like here.

01:16:59.240 --> 01:17:00.440
How much time do I have?

01:17:02.040 --> 01:17:03.240
Is there anything I shouldn't say?

01:17:05.640 --> 01:17:08.240
And then when I come up, I'll say, I'm glad Nick called me.

01:17:08.440 --> 01:17:09.440
I know him from church.

01:17:09.840 --> 01:17:12.040
Hey, Nick, correct me if I'm wrong and stuff like that.

01:17:12.240 --> 01:17:13.240
I'll do all this stuff.

01:17:13.440 --> 01:17:17.840
Suddenly in your classroom, I know how to arrange myself

01:17:18.040 --> 01:17:20.240
to be of maximum benefit to your kids.

01:17:22.240 --> 01:17:25.040
So in different situations, we place ourselves differently

01:17:25.240 --> 01:17:27.640
because our God is a God who loves arrangement of things.

01:17:28.040 --> 01:17:29.040
Jesus was this way.

01:17:29.240 --> 01:17:30.040
Paul was this way.

01:17:30.240 --> 01:17:31.440
He arranges himself quickly.

01:17:32.040 --> 01:17:36.440
Paul apologizes for calling one of the high priests a whitewashed tomb.

01:17:36.640 --> 01:17:39.240
Secretly, he must have delighted in it, but he did apologize for it.

01:17:39.440 --> 01:17:44.040
And so there's this arrangement that there is throughout the world.

01:17:44.240 --> 01:17:46.240
If we walk in the arrangement of God,

01:17:46.440 --> 01:17:50.040
it is impossible for us to be robbed of what is ours.

01:17:51.040 --> 01:17:55.040
And God flows through us so brilliantly because he just thrills with order.

01:17:55.240 --> 01:17:57.840
Everything that he has put in place is so orderly.

01:17:58.040 --> 01:17:59.240
He operates in order.

01:17:59.440 --> 01:18:03.240
And the one thing that destroyed the earth was the rebellion against order.

01:18:04.840 --> 01:18:08.240
I mean, there are places where I'll go and I don't feel like standing.

01:18:08.240 --> 01:18:12.640
But if the pastor says stand, even though I don't feel like standing, I'll stand.

01:18:13.640 --> 01:18:15.440
Sometimes they'll say, open your mouth and praise the Lord.

01:18:15.640 --> 01:18:17.840
And I'm thinking, but I've been praising the Lord for four hours.

01:18:18.040 --> 01:18:18.840
Give me a break.

01:18:20.040 --> 01:18:22.440
And then I'll go and say something like praise the Lord.

01:18:22.640 --> 01:18:25.440
Because I don't want to not obey.

01:18:26.440 --> 01:18:28.640
It rankles me sometimes that I have to.

01:18:28.840 --> 01:18:33.240
But if I am somewhere and if someone is placed over me, it doesn't matter.

01:18:33.440 --> 01:18:35.440
I will get up and open my mouth.

01:18:39.240 --> 01:18:42.040
I remember going to a women's Bible study once.

01:18:42.240 --> 01:18:47.440
They invited me to preach and I went there and they told me what to speak on.

01:18:47.640 --> 01:18:50.840
And I'm sitting there, felt the Holy Spirit saying, I want you to speak on this.

01:18:51.040 --> 01:18:51.840
So I spoke on that.

01:18:52.040 --> 01:18:56.240
And the lady who runs the group called me and said, I'd asked you to speak on this.

01:18:56.440 --> 01:18:56.840
Why didn't you?

01:18:57.040 --> 01:18:58.840
I said, I felt the Holy Spirit telling me to speak on this.

01:18:59.040 --> 01:19:00.240
And she said, why didn't you tell me?

01:19:03.640 --> 01:19:04.840
I thought that was brilliant.

01:19:05.040 --> 01:19:07.040
Sure, the Spirit of God told you.

01:19:07.040 --> 01:19:11.840
But if the Spirit of God told you and she's in charge, tell her that this is what I sense the Spirit of God telling me to.

01:19:12.040 --> 01:19:14.640
Because she asked me to come and speak at her.

01:19:14.840 --> 01:19:17.840
So what gives me the right to do what I want without first checking with her?

01:19:19.440 --> 01:19:23.040
It's amazing when we arrange ourselves the right way guys.

01:19:23.240 --> 01:19:24.440
It's just brilliant.

01:19:24.640 --> 01:19:28.440
And when we don't, know who you're sharing your bed with.

01:19:33.440 --> 01:19:35.240
Know who you're sharing your bed with.

01:19:37.440 --> 01:19:41.040
It's sort of like a physical, but not really.

01:19:42.240 --> 01:19:47.840
Is there something that you're drawn towards in order to grow?

01:19:48.040 --> 01:19:53.840
If something that's outside of Acts 29, something that somebody somewhere does...

01:19:54.040 --> 01:19:55.240
Go for it man.

01:19:55.440 --> 01:19:56.840
But do we need to know how to...

01:19:57.040 --> 01:20:00.840
No, first go taste it and then say, it tastes really good Jacob, I'd like to.

01:20:01.840 --> 01:20:06.040
Because there are so many things outside of Acts 29 that God is.

01:20:06.040 --> 01:20:09.840
If Acts 29 was what God is, this church would be much bigger, trust me.

01:20:11.640 --> 01:20:14.240
So there's so many things outside this.

01:20:14.440 --> 01:20:22.240
And if you have that sense in you and that is part of your inheritance, then go taste it.

01:20:22.440 --> 01:20:24.440
And if it is real, come and tell.

01:20:27.040 --> 01:20:30.840
Because this place cannot provide you everything that is meant for you.

01:20:31.040 --> 01:20:33.840
But my God, it can provide you some really good stuff.

01:20:36.040 --> 01:20:41.840
Do we get to see something as glorious as what Elijah saw in the text of the book of Genesis?

01:20:42.040 --> 01:20:43.840
When Paul went to the commission, he saw the light.

01:20:44.040 --> 01:20:44.840
Yeah.

01:20:45.040 --> 01:20:47.840
So do we get to see something so glorious like the book of Genesis?

01:20:48.040 --> 01:20:48.840
Yeah.

01:20:52.040 --> 01:20:55.440
If we don't go looking for it, we might see it.

01:20:55.640 --> 01:21:00.240
What has happened to us is we want a glorious sign to endorse what God is doing.

01:21:00.440 --> 01:21:03.840
And God is saying, I used to do that in the Old Testament.

01:21:04.840 --> 01:21:08.640
Because I never lived inside people, I lived outside of them.

01:21:08.840 --> 01:21:14.640
But now that I live inside of you, can you just relate to me because you and I have one spirit?

01:21:14.840 --> 01:21:19.640
Once that happens, he may just for the fun of it say, hey, let me just show you a little bit.

01:21:19.840 --> 01:21:21.640
And he just shows you a little bit and it will blow your mind.

01:21:21.840 --> 01:21:25.640
But it is no longer the endorsement you need to walk.

01:21:25.840 --> 01:21:30.640
Because rainbows, handwriting on the wall, Paul falling off his horse,

01:21:30.840 --> 01:21:32.640
even though it's in the New Testament, he was in the Old Testament.

01:21:32.640 --> 01:21:38.440
All these signs were signs that were meant to convince the people who did not have the spirit of God dwelling in them.

01:21:38.640 --> 01:21:43.440
The last time lots were drawn for anything was in Acts chapter 2 before the Holy Spirit fell.

01:21:43.640 --> 01:21:46.440
After that, we don't even have the drawing of lots.

01:21:46.640 --> 01:21:52.440
And so it is God would prefer not using signs to confirm things to you

01:21:52.640 --> 01:21:55.440
because then we become a people dependent on signs.

01:21:55.640 --> 01:21:57.440
We become very Jewish.

01:21:57.640 --> 01:21:58.440
It's the best way to be messianic.

01:21:58.640 --> 01:22:02.440
And so you don't want to go that route.

01:22:02.640 --> 01:22:08.440
What you want to do is know inside you and then it's like, let God show.

01:22:08.640 --> 01:22:12.440
Let me trust God first in here because his spirit and my spirit have become one.

01:22:12.640 --> 01:22:15.440
And then sometimes God will show stuff, man.

01:22:15.640 --> 01:22:20.440
And when he shows you have to ask the question, do I share this with people or don't I?

01:22:20.640 --> 01:22:25.440
Because some of us go share things God has shown us and those people will never trust you again.

01:22:25.640 --> 01:22:28.440
Because to begin with you were weird. Now you are really weird.

01:22:28.640 --> 01:22:30.440
Yeah.

01:22:30.640 --> 01:22:31.440
So that's how this works.
