Semi-ambiguous T-shirt designs are FUN! Such a simple design can mean so many different things to so many, depending if one gets the inside references or not. To the Science and Nature Lover, this shirt is a fun and whimsical design featuring some animals, dancing in the woods, under the crescent moon. To some, based on the shirt's title, it may be a nod to Van Morrison's "Moondance". If you are looking for a more obscure reference point, maybe you'll think of the old King Harvest song, "Dancing in the Moonlight". However, the keen-eyed observer will instantly recognize the silhouettes of a whole troupe of familiar friends, as 2 Terrapins, having left their Station behind, jam on tambourine and banjo, as they are joined by some iconic dancing bears, as even Uncle John's Crow (or is that the Old Crow, having long since retired from his medicine show?) joins in, adding his birdsong. Celebrating a big old party called planet Earth, the rock and roll music is about to meet the rising Sun, as any Astronomer will tell you, based on the phase of the Moon, this is NOT an evening scene but instead, a party that has been going on all night long.
