The Malibu Surf Club was founded in 1952 by a small but dedicated group of surfers that included such well-known members as Matt Kivlin, Les Williams, Joe and Aggie Quigg, Nina "Honeybear" Warren, and rat pack original - Peter Lawford. Kivlin designed the original lettering for the club logo which first appeared on a classic surf sweater with the sewn-on hood. - Malibu Shirts Inc.
