Because when you look at it this morning, sometime this morning, Jesus walked out of the tomb. 00:06:12.000 --> 00:06:19.000 And we need to understand that Jesus dying for his sins was not evidence enough. 00:06:19.000 --> 00:06:24.000 Because someone who dies, anybody could have claimed that I'm dying for your sins. 00:06:24.000 --> 00:06:34.000 But it is in his rising up that there is evidence that a sinless one died for the sins of the world and yet rose again. 00:06:34.000 --> 00:06:40.000 If there is no resurrection, Jesus' death is kind of pointless. It would be like me dying for you. 00:06:40.000 --> 00:06:44.000 He would have stayed dead just like I would have stayed dead. 00:06:44.000 --> 00:06:52.000 So it's in actually resurrection that we have evidence that when Jesus walked out of the tomb this morning, 00:06:52.000 --> 00:07:00.000 he was proving that a sinless sin bearer rose because a sinless man could rise from the dead. 00:07:00.000 --> 00:07:04.000 Nobody else could rise from the dead. 00:07:04.000 --> 00:07:11.000 And why was this a big deal? Haven't other people come back from the dead? Didn't Lazarus come back from the dead? 00:07:11.000 --> 00:07:15.000 Didn't the son of the widow of Nain come back from the dead? 00:07:15.000 --> 00:07:20.000 So why was this a big deal? Because in reality, Jesus was a sin offering. 00:07:20.000 --> 00:07:28.000 If you read Isaiah 53.10, you're looking at a sin offering that had to be raised. 00:07:28.000 --> 00:07:45.000 A sinless, finite man took on the infinite sin of mankind, 00:07:45.000 --> 00:07:52.000 took on the infinite sin of mankind, 00:07:52.000 --> 00:08:02.000 satisfied the infinite justice of God, 00:08:02.000 --> 00:08:10.000 and rose again. 00:08:10.000 --> 00:08:16.000 A sinless, finite man took on the infinite sin of mankind. 00:08:16.000 --> 00:08:22.000 Every depravity, every conceivable ugly thing, we must understand something. 00:08:22.000 --> 00:08:29.000 That sin cannot, God cannot tolerate sin. He cannot even tolerate sin. 00:08:29.000 --> 00:08:35.000 We don't understand holiness because we can tolerate. So our holiness is measured. It's in degrees. 00:08:35.000 --> 00:08:39.000 But this is a God who cannot tolerate sin. 00:08:39.000 --> 00:08:44.000 The intolerance of sin is part of who he is in terms of his holiness. 00:08:44.000 --> 00:08:51.000 This sinless, finite man takes on the infinite sin of God, sin of mankind, 00:08:51.000 --> 00:08:56.000 to satisfy the infinite justice of God. 00:08:56.000 --> 00:09:00.000 And then if you were to rewind 10 seconds before he rose again, 00:09:00.000 --> 00:09:04.000 he was just a man on a cold slab inside a tomb. 00:09:04.000 --> 00:09:10.000 And then suddenly, because it is impossible for sin to exist him, because he was sinless, 00:09:10.000 --> 00:09:15.000 suddenly the Holy Spirit has now the ability to swoop in on him and raise him to life. 00:09:15.000 --> 00:09:18.000 It is the Holy Spirit who raises him to life. 00:09:18.000 --> 00:09:21.000 Jesus didn't suddenly decide, all right, time to come back to life. 00:09:21.000 --> 00:09:28.000 No, he was dead. On that stone slab inside the tomb, he was dead. 00:09:28.000 --> 00:09:32.000 If you could rewind and go 10 seconds before he rose again, he was totally dead. 00:09:32.000 --> 00:09:36.000 It wasn't he who caused the earthquake. 00:09:36.000 --> 00:09:40.000 It is the Holy Spirit who raised him. Ephesians 1. 00:09:40.000 --> 00:09:43.000 We shouldn't think that Jesus decided, I'm going to rise up now. 00:09:43.000 --> 00:09:50.000 No. He was confident that his father will not let him decay. 00:09:50.000 --> 00:09:57.000 That he was confident of. He says so. Psalms had already predicted that. 00:09:57.000 --> 00:10:02.000 But just as he was dependent upon the Holy Spirit to do everything while he was here on earth, 00:10:02.000 --> 00:10:09.000 he is now in his deadness dependent upon the Holy Spirit to raise him. 00:10:09.000 --> 00:10:17.000 And so because this sinless, finite man does not sin and takes on the infinite sin of the world 00:10:17.000 --> 00:10:24.000 to satisfy the infinite justice of God, he's lying there knowing that the only way he's going to come back to life 00:10:24.000 --> 00:10:28.000 is through the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit comes and raises him up. 00:10:28.000 --> 00:10:31.000 This is how it works. 00:10:31.000 --> 00:10:36.000 It's actually the most important day in our lives. It's not Christmas. It's not Good Friday. 00:10:36.000 --> 00:10:42.000 Life begins on resurrection. 00:10:42.000 --> 00:10:45.000 The one who... go ahead. 00:10:45.000 --> 00:10:50.000 What would you say to someone who stopped on the first, that Jesus says, I lay my life down again, 00:10:50.000 --> 00:10:53.000 but I can take it up again if you want to? 00:10:53.000 --> 00:10:59.000 No. He says, I lay my life down again. Nobody can take it from me. He lays it down. 00:10:59.000 --> 00:11:07.000 And it doesn't mean that when he died, God died. But it does mean that Jesus of Nazareth died. 00:11:07.000 --> 00:11:15.000 And he rises up. He rises up as Christ the Anointed One, Jesus the Christ. 00:11:15.000 --> 00:11:22.000 So it's not that God died, eh? Nor was God 33. 00:11:22.000 --> 00:11:29.000 So it's called the hypostatic union, which is 100% God, 100% man. 00:11:29.000 --> 00:11:33.000 But when he's lying there, he's not going to turn on a switch. 00:11:33.000 --> 00:11:38.000 He's trusting that the Father will not let his body decay. 00:11:38.000 --> 00:11:48.000 And then it says in Ephesians 1, 18 onwards that by the power of the Holy Spirit, he was raised from the dead. 00:11:48.000 --> 00:11:54.000 In the death and resurrection of Jesus, you see the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit at work. 00:11:54.000 --> 00:11:59.000 All three are at work. 00:11:59.000 --> 00:12:06.000 And try not to wrap your minds around it, because I can see at least four minds right now. 00:12:06.000 --> 00:12:14.000 I could literally see the wheels churning at high speed and getting just clogged. They're breaking down. 00:12:14.000 --> 00:12:17.000 Because how do you compute all this, man? You cannot. 00:12:17.000 --> 00:12:22.000 And so the best way to deal with this is to kind of begin to receive it here. 00:12:22.000 --> 00:12:26.000 And by here I don't mean your heart, I mean receive it in your spirit. 00:12:26.000 --> 00:12:30.000 And then let the Holy Spirit work it out in bits and pieces. 00:12:30.000 --> 00:12:33.000 And eventually it will all come together in heaven. 00:12:33.000 --> 00:12:39.000 It won't come together here on earth because your minds are very limited. 00:12:39.000 --> 00:12:55.000 It would be like trying to explain hockey to a bird. It's not a question. It won't understand. 00:12:55.000 --> 00:12:59.000 The one who rose this morning showed me the nail marks in his hands. 00:12:59.000 --> 00:13:07.000 The picture that I found for resurrection yesterday that we're putting up on the website is Jesus with his hands like this with two nail marks here. 00:13:07.000 --> 00:13:12.000 And this morning when Jesus rose again, he went around showing his nail marks to us. 00:13:12.000 --> 00:13:16.000 The one who rose this morning showed me the nail marks in his hand. Why? 00:13:16.000 --> 00:13:21.000 Because that's the price of the purchase of my body. The price. 00:13:21.000 --> 00:13:29.000 The price of the purchase of my body. 00:13:29.000 --> 00:13:34.000 The price of the purchase of my body. 00:13:34.000 --> 00:13:43.000 The welts on his back, the stripes or welts on his back are for my healing. 00:13:43.000 --> 00:13:49.000 1 Peter 2.23 says so. 00:13:49.000 --> 00:13:56.000 This is important guys because very often we don't remember that our bodies actually are his property. 00:13:56.000 --> 00:14:00.000 Our bodies are his property. This body is his property. 00:14:00.000 --> 00:14:04.000 And he is a good steward of that which belongs to him. 00:14:04.000 --> 00:14:10.000 He is a good steward of that which belongs to him. It's his possession. 00:14:10.000 --> 00:14:15.000 One of the places I go to often when I'm sick or when I need healing is, but this is your body. 00:14:15.000 --> 00:14:20.000 You take good care of what is yours. 00:14:20.000 --> 00:14:28.000 It's a great way to trust God with things that you're afraid of losing, of harming, of dismantling. 00:14:28.000 --> 00:14:35.000 Very often even with homes, vehicles that you have and you think, oh well this one's steal it or that one's steal it. 00:14:35.000 --> 00:14:41.000 I remember there was a time when a lot of break-ins were happening at the underground parking that I used to park in 00:14:41.000 --> 00:14:44.000 and I would feel afraid that if something were to happen to my car. 00:14:44.000 --> 00:14:49.000 I remember telling the Lord, Father, you gave me this. This is something that I'm renting from you. 00:14:49.000 --> 00:14:53.000 I'm just going to leave it with you. You're a good steward of what you own. 00:14:53.000 --> 00:15:04.000 Same with this body. This body, when he shows you the nail pierced hands, he's also saying, listen I bought your bodies. 00:15:04.000 --> 00:15:10.000 Let it settle somewhere deep in A. The deeper it settles, the less effort you have to exert for faith. 00:15:10.000 --> 00:15:15.000 Faith, whenever it's an exertion, is simply because we do not understand. 00:15:15.000 --> 00:15:24.000 Faith, when it's an exertion, is a result of an inability to understand it deeply enough. 00:15:24.000 --> 00:15:29.000 When it's not an exertion, it's because, I mean, we don't have any trouble with gravity. 00:15:29.000 --> 00:15:32.000 We're not trying to force ourselves to believe it. 00:15:37.000 --> 00:15:43.000 This morning, recreation was at its best. This morning, recreation was at its best. 00:15:45.000 --> 00:15:49.000 It was almost like Genesis 1. God breathes life again. 00:15:49.000 --> 00:15:51.000 And he actually completed everything. 00:15:51.000 --> 00:16:01.000 Yesterday, Diana sent me a song by Caroline Aaron, where it talks about this idea of, on the seventh day, God rested. 00:16:01.000 --> 00:16:08.000 And it's the same, in a sense, today, when he rose up this morning, it was like, I'm breathing life again. 00:16:08.000 --> 00:16:13.000 I'm recreating Eden. It is finished, was the end, as known as sixth day. 00:16:13.000 --> 00:16:15.000 Now, he's welcoming us into this place of rest. 00:16:21.000 --> 00:16:25.000 This morning, I love this one. This morning, death lost its sting. 00:16:26.000 --> 00:16:28.000 This morning, death lost its sting. 00:16:31.000 --> 00:16:33.000 This morning, death lost its sting. 00:16:34.000 --> 00:16:40.000 This morning, it was decided that, you know, we should not be afraid of death. 00:16:40.000 --> 00:16:45.000 This morning, it was decided that all our bodies will be raised imperishable. 00:16:46.000 --> 00:16:53.000 This morning, it was decided forever that all our bodies, anyone who believes in him, their bodies will be raised imperishable. 00:16:54.000 --> 00:16:56.000 Death lost its sting this morning. 00:16:59.000 --> 00:17:03.000 No longer can death frighten any human being on earth if they want to believe. 00:17:03.000 --> 00:17:13.000 Is death present? Yes. It's that story that many of you have heard, where a wasp or whatever comes into a car while the dad and the son are driving in the car. 00:17:13.000 --> 00:17:17.000 A wasp enters, and the child starts screaming. 00:17:17.000 --> 00:17:23.000 And the father reaches, takes his hand and reaches out and holds the wasp in his hand, and then releases it. 00:17:23.000 --> 00:17:30.000 And the boy is really upset that the father grasped the wasp and then instead of holding it, he just holds it. 00:17:30.000 --> 00:17:34.000 And the father grasps the wasp and then instead of killing it, he releases it. 00:17:34.000 --> 00:17:37.000 And starts saying, why did you release it? 00:17:37.000 --> 00:17:42.000 But the dad shows him the sting and says, but it can no longer sting you. 00:17:42.000 --> 00:17:46.000 The wasp is still in the car, but it's almost like a fly. 00:17:46.000 --> 00:17:48.000 It can do nothing. 00:17:48.000 --> 00:17:52.000 Death is around, but it's lost its sting. 00:17:52.000 --> 00:17:54.000 It cannot be weaponized ever again. 00:17:54.000 --> 00:17:56.000 It cannot be used against me. 00:17:56.000 --> 00:17:58.000 It can fly around inside the car. 00:17:58.000 --> 00:18:00.000 What can it do? It's like a fly. 00:18:09.000 --> 00:18:13.000 This morning, the one who rose gave himself a new title. 00:18:15.000 --> 00:18:19.000 It was spoken of in the past, but he puts it all together. 00:18:19.000 --> 00:18:26.000 He says in Revelation 1, 17 and 18, he says, I'm the first, I'm the last. 00:18:29.000 --> 00:18:32.000 I'm he who lives, I'm he who lives. 00:18:32.000 --> 00:18:37.000 I once was dead, but now I'm alive forevermore. 00:18:38.000 --> 00:18:45.000 Then he says, I hold the keys of Hades and death. 00:18:46.000 --> 00:18:48.000 What's he trying to say here? 00:18:48.000 --> 00:18:53.000 He's saying that there is nobody who now has anything over me. 00:18:53.000 --> 00:18:55.000 I'm the first and the last. Isaiah talks about it. 00:18:55.000 --> 00:18:57.000 I'm the first and the last and everything in between. 00:18:57.000 --> 00:18:59.000 That's how the message puts it. 00:18:59.000 --> 00:19:01.000 I'm the first and the last and everything in between. 00:19:01.000 --> 00:19:03.000 As in, there is nothing beyond me. 00:19:03.000 --> 00:19:05.000 Nothing can exist. 00:19:05.000 --> 00:19:08.000 Nothing has authority. Nothing has power beyond me. 00:19:09.000 --> 00:19:11.000 Yes, I went through death, but I'm alive forevermore. 00:19:11.000 --> 00:19:14.000 Every other pagan god is nothing now. 00:19:15.000 --> 00:19:17.000 I hold the keys of death in Hades. 00:19:17.000 --> 00:19:19.000 It takes you back to Matthew 16, 18 and 19. 00:19:19.000 --> 00:19:22.000 The gates of hell shall not prevail against the church. 00:19:22.000 --> 00:19:24.000 I hold the keys of death in Hades. 00:19:24.000 --> 00:19:26.000 They're mine. I lock them. Nobody can open. 00:19:26.000 --> 00:19:28.000 I open them. Nobody can shut. 00:19:28.000 --> 00:19:30.000 I've got total authority. 00:19:30.000 --> 00:19:33.000 In the statement on the day he rises up again 00:19:33.000 --> 00:19:35.000 and when he makes these statements, he's made it in Isaiah. 00:19:35.000 --> 00:19:37.000 He's made it in the Gospels. 00:19:37.000 --> 00:19:40.000 He's made it in Revelation 1, and now he made it again. 00:19:40.000 --> 00:19:42.000 His statement is very simple. 00:19:42.000 --> 00:19:45.000 Listen, guys, I just rose from the dead, and there is nothing. 00:19:45.000 --> 00:19:48.000 There is nothing that is not subject to me. 00:19:49.000 --> 00:19:51.000 Everything. 00:19:51.000 --> 00:19:55.000 Everything is subject to me, and I am for you. 00:19:56.000 --> 00:20:00.000 Everything is subject to me, and I am for you, Jacob. 00:20:01.000 --> 00:20:05.000 Everything is subject to me, and I am for the church. 00:20:07.000 --> 00:20:09.000 It's easy to think everything is subject to him. 00:20:09.000 --> 00:20:14.000 It's very hard to then go from everything is subject to him. 00:20:14.000 --> 00:20:16.000 That part we can believe. 00:20:16.000 --> 00:20:19.000 For the church. 00:20:20.000 --> 00:20:22.000 For me. 00:20:22.000 --> 00:20:24.000 That is the hard part to believe. 00:20:24.000 --> 00:20:25.000 Why is this hard to believe? 00:20:25.000 --> 00:20:27.000 Because circumstances prove otherwise. 00:20:27.000 --> 00:20:29.000 Who tries to stop circumstances? 00:20:29.000 --> 00:20:32.000 Who tries to create circumstances so that this gap exists? 00:20:32.000 --> 00:20:37.000 The world, the devil, the flesh. 00:20:38.000 --> 00:20:42.000 They will always try to create a gap between the two. 00:20:42.000 --> 00:20:46.000 They will always try to create a gap between who Christ really is 00:20:46.000 --> 00:20:48.000 and who he wants to be for the church. 00:20:48.000 --> 00:20:50.000 There will always be a gap. 00:20:52.000 --> 00:20:55.000 There is this constant attempt to create that gap. 00:21:03.000 --> 00:21:07.000 The one who rose this morning is elevated to the highest place. 00:21:08.000 --> 00:21:10.000 Highest place. 00:21:10.000 --> 00:21:11.000 Verse 2-9. 00:21:11.000 --> 00:21:14.000 He was obedient unto death, and therefore I have now exalted him 00:21:14.000 --> 00:21:18.000 or elevated him to the place that is the highest in the entire universe. 00:21:18.000 --> 00:21:20.000 There is nothing above him. 00:21:20.000 --> 00:21:22.000 He is at the pinnacle, at the peak. 00:21:22.000 --> 00:21:24.000 Everything else serves him. 00:21:24.000 --> 00:21:26.000 Everything else is under him. 00:21:26.000 --> 00:21:31.000 So that at his name, every name has to be subdued, has to subject. 00:21:31.000 --> 00:21:33.000 There is nothing. 00:21:33.000 --> 00:21:34.000 The devil knows it. 00:21:34.000 --> 00:21:36.000 And again, this is the problem. 00:21:36.000 --> 00:21:39.000 Can I convince Jacob that yes, 00:21:40.000 --> 00:21:43.000 he has all authority? 00:21:44.000 --> 00:21:49.000 But can I somehow also make sure that Jacob doesn't translate that 00:21:49.000 --> 00:21:53.000 into the church or his life? 00:21:53.000 --> 00:21:55.000 And how do I do that? 00:34:12.000 --> 00:34:17.000 Are you going to react as best as you can as a moral Christian? 00:34:18.000 --> 00:34:26.000 Or are you going to respond with the quality of life that you possess, which is resurrection life? 00:34:29.000 --> 00:34:32.000 Jesus had to do this every time. 00:34:32.000 --> 00:34:34.000 Jesus would find himself in circumstances, 00:34:34.000 --> 00:34:41.000 and he could either be living out of his moral Jewishness that kept the law, 00:34:41.000 --> 00:34:44.000 learned the scriptures, knew God, 00:34:44.000 --> 00:34:49.000 or he could live by the life that was in him, which was the life of the Spirit. 00:34:55.000 --> 00:34:58.000 When you have twins and Shiloh, 00:34:58.000 --> 00:35:00.000 when you have a new baby, 00:35:00.000 --> 00:35:02.000 when you are going through difficult circumstances, 00:35:02.000 --> 00:35:04.000 when there are sicknesses and diseases, 00:35:04.000 --> 00:35:06.000 when there is a lack of money, 00:35:06.000 --> 00:35:11.000 when there are feelings that are rising in you that you know is ungodly, 00:35:11.000 --> 00:35:13.000 when there is a lack of faith, 00:35:13.000 --> 00:35:15.000 when things are beginning to crowd in, 00:35:16.000 --> 00:35:18.000 when you are scared of tomorrow, 00:35:19.000 --> 00:35:21.000 which life are you living out of? 00:35:21.000 --> 00:35:26.000 I am saying to you that even living by principles and scriptures is godly, 00:35:26.000 --> 00:35:29.000 but it is in the life that you are supposed to live out of. 00:35:32.000 --> 00:35:35.000 I am the resurrection and the life. 00:35:38.000 --> 00:35:42.000 Which life comes out when you are diseased and sick? 00:35:42.000 --> 00:35:45.000 Which life comes out when there is despair and hopelessness? 00:35:45.000 --> 00:35:48.000 Which life comes out when jobs are not working out? 00:35:48.000 --> 00:35:52.000 Which life comes out when a prophetic word or a promise is delayed? 00:35:52.000 --> 00:35:54.000 Which life comes out? 00:35:55.000 --> 00:35:57.000 Because there is a life that is untouched. 00:35:57.000 --> 00:36:01.000 Let me give you the essence of this life that we are talking about. 00:36:01.000 --> 00:36:03.000 When we talk about resurrection life, what are we saying? 00:36:03.000 --> 00:36:09.000 We are saying that resurrection life is the 00:36:12.000 --> 00:36:24.000 resurrection life is the private life that Jesus presently possesses, 00:36:27.000 --> 00:36:36.000 that he shares personally with me. 00:36:36.000 --> 00:36:37.000 Think of that for a second. 00:36:37.000 --> 00:36:45.000 Resurrection life is the private life Jesus presently possesses. 00:36:46.000 --> 00:36:47.000 It is his. 00:36:47.000 --> 00:36:49.000 That is why I use the word private. 00:36:49.000 --> 00:36:51.000 Private is not something that he does not want to make public. 00:36:51.000 --> 00:36:53.000 Private is something that it is his. 00:36:53.000 --> 00:36:55.000 It is his present life. 00:36:55.000 --> 00:37:00.000 This is the life that feeds the entire universe and keeps it going. 00:37:00.000 --> 00:37:05.000 This is the life that causes every caterpillar, every butterfly, every leaf to flourish or not flourish, 00:37:05.000 --> 00:37:07.000 every blade of grass to live or not to live. 00:37:07.000 --> 00:37:09.000 This is the life that causes everything to breathe. 00:37:09.000 --> 00:37:11.000 This is the life that holds planets in orbit. 00:37:11.000 --> 00:37:14.000 This is the personal private life that he possesses. 00:37:14.000 --> 00:37:18.000 And he has decided that Jacob, you now, because you believe in me, 00:37:18.000 --> 00:37:21.000 are inextricably bound into me. 00:37:21.000 --> 00:37:26.000 And the life that he possesses is the same as the life that Jesus possesses. 00:37:26.000 --> 00:37:27.000 And I personally give it to you. 00:37:27.000 --> 00:37:29.000 I give it to you by means of the Spirit. 00:37:29.000 --> 00:37:33.000 Can you live out of this life instead of living out of scriptures and verses? 00:39:48.000 --> 00:39:56.000 Leave alone the other circumstances of life like the cares of life, 00:39:56.000 --> 00:40:02.000 the sicknesses and diseases of the fallen world, the opposition, the persecution. 00:40:02.000 --> 00:40:05.000 Can this life come out? 00:40:16.000 --> 00:40:21.000 To live like him is to be aware of two things. 00:40:21.000 --> 00:40:32.000 One, that this life, this resurrection life, 00:40:32.000 --> 00:40:37.000 sometimes it's hard to just say this resurrection, so that's why I'm adding life. 00:40:37.000 --> 00:40:45.000 This resurrection is contained in jars of clay. 00:40:47.000 --> 00:40:49.000 Why is that important? 00:40:49.000 --> 00:40:53.000 Because sometimes when we think of this kind of life and this kind of body, 00:40:53.000 --> 00:40:57.000 that is when we think, eh, not real. 00:40:57.000 --> 00:41:03.000 Because when you look at the limitations of this body, limitations of sin, limitations of decay, 00:41:03.000 --> 00:41:09.000 all the things that we're not able to surmount over the last 50 or 40 or 30 or 70 years, 00:41:09.000 --> 00:41:14.000 so many failures when you think of how this body has reacted, how this mind has reacted, 00:41:14.000 --> 00:41:20.000 you look at the failure and you think to yourself, no, this life isn't real. 00:41:20.000 --> 00:41:26.000 We've got to come to grips with the fact that this body that has failed many times, 00:41:26.000 --> 00:41:30.000 this Jacob that has failed many times, this soul and spirit, 00:41:30.000 --> 00:41:38.000 this soul that has failed many times still possesses within it the resurrection life of Christ. 00:41:38.000 --> 00:41:41.000 I am the resurrection and life. 00:41:41.000 --> 00:41:44.000 He is the one who dwells in me. This body possesses him. 00:41:44.000 --> 00:41:47.000 That's the first thing I need to realize. 00:41:56.000 --> 00:41:57.000 Yeah, yeah. 00:42:01.000 --> 00:42:08.000 Because if the focus shifts to the jars of clay, then you see the flaws, you see the fractures, 00:42:08.000 --> 00:42:14.000 you see the cracks and you think to yourself, nah, failed again, failed again, failed again, failed again, failed again. 00:42:21.000 --> 00:42:28.000 So the first thing is to recognize that, to be highly aware of the resurrection life that I have, 00:42:28.000 --> 00:42:55.000 the second is to live my human experience of life by the power of the life of the risen Christ in me. 00:42:56.000 --> 00:43:04.000 I think we need to go back again and distinguish between am I living by scriptural principles, 00:43:04.000 --> 00:43:10.000 am I living by verses, am I living by faith or am I living by life? 00:43:13.000 --> 00:43:17.000 And if you're living by life, what will show is Jesus. 00:43:20.000 --> 00:43:23.000 If you're living by faith, what will show is faith. 00:43:25.000 --> 00:43:30.000 If you're living by scriptural principles, what will show is moral principles at work. 00:43:31.000 --> 00:43:33.000 Nothing wrong with it. Why? 00:54:55.000 --> 00:54:58.000 Because our natural lives are natural to us. 00:54:58.000 --> 00:55:03.000 But there are moments when you know you're going against the grain of your natural life, 00:55:03.000 --> 00:55:10.000 and everything in you is screaming, saying sit down, one more step and you will look like the foolishest person in this room. 00:55:10.000 --> 00:55:16.000 That is when perhaps you're stepping into that realm where another's life will begin to flow. 00:55:16.000 --> 00:55:23.000 And when it does, you will end up looking really foolish, but someone else will live. 00:55:23.000 --> 00:55:28.000 Foolishness for life, it's a really easy exchange. 00:55:28.000 --> 00:55:31.000 Your foolishness for someone else's life. 00:55:31.000 --> 00:55:47.000 When we do that, in the circumstances we are in, we will see resurrection life manifesting. 00:55:47.000 --> 00:55:52.000 When we do that, in circumstances where we decide not going to go this way, 00:55:52.000 --> 00:55:55.000 there's something in me that is speaking and I can hear it. 00:55:55.000 --> 00:55:57.000 There's a different voice inside me. 00:55:57.000 --> 00:56:00.000 There is a sound inside me that I don't even want to hear. 00:56:00.000 --> 00:56:02.000 Be quiet, be quiet, be quiet. I mean everything has its place. 00:59:20.000 --> 00:59:24.000 But primarily we have a different life in us. 00:59:24.000 --> 00:59:29.000 Everything else should be added to it. 00:59:29.000 --> 00:59:38.000 We are using methods to get to a place, and we actually have life to be in that place. 00:59:38.000 --> 00:59:45.000 Unconquerable. 00:59:45.000 --> 00:59:48.000 We carry this life in a physical body, 00:59:48.000 --> 00:59:57.000 and so the enemy uses my limitations to anesthetize me to the immeasurable capacity that I actually have, 00:59:57.000 --> 01:00:02.000 saying, look, you failed before. Look, nothing worked. Look, you tried being joyful. Look. 01:00:02.000 --> 01:00:08.000 Part of it is because we've been using methods constantly to get to places. 01:00:08.000 --> 01:00:17.000 If you had a well in your house that you can dig in, every time you dig, water will come up. 01:00:17.000 --> 01:00:26.000 Then you wouldn't use methods to quench your thirst. You would always go to the well. 01:00:26.000 --> 01:00:32.000 Not a good example because we don't know what it is to dig a well, nor do we have wells. 01:00:32.000 --> 01:00:36.000 This is why we need to pray Ephesians 1.18. 01:00:36.000 --> 01:00:42.000 Oh God, please open my eyes that I might see, that my mind might be enlightened 01:00:42.000 --> 01:00:46.000 to this tremendous resurrection power that raised Christ from the dead. 01:00:46.000 --> 01:00:52.000 The same power is supposed to energize me, give life to my mortal body. 01:00:52.000 --> 01:00:57.000 When we begin to think like this, a strange thing will happen. I guarantee you this, based on Romans 8, 01:00:57.000 --> 01:01:03.000 that when we begin to live out of this life, you will find your body suddenly turning healthy 01:01:03.000 --> 01:01:12.000 because these bodies suddenly become the container of he who is the resurrection and the life. 01:01:12.000 --> 01:01:17.000 Instead of going to healing scriptures, and we must exert faith because it pleases the Lord, 01:01:17.000 --> 01:01:21.000 you go to healing scriptures because of the life you possess. 01:01:21.000 --> 01:01:24.000 The scriptures explain the life. 01:01:24.000 --> 01:01:31.000 The scriptures give you knowledge of the quality of the life you possess. 01:01:31.000 --> 01:01:39.000 It's beautiful man. 01:01:39.000 --> 01:01:46.000 By the Spirit, that's how this life is brought to us, everything that God is, Christ was, 01:01:46.000 --> 01:01:50.000 everything that Christ accomplished, the Holy Spirit now manifests. 01:01:50.000 --> 01:02:12.000 By the Spirit, Jesus personally lives in me as though it were his own body. 01:02:12.000 --> 01:02:21.000 Romans 6.19, by the Spirit, Jesus who is the resurrection and life. 01:02:21.000 --> 01:02:27.000 By the Spirit, Jesus who said, I am the resurrection and the life, by the Spirit, 01:02:27.000 --> 01:02:37.000 Jesus who is the resurrection and life lives in me as though it were his own body. 01:02:37.000 --> 01:02:42.000 The emphasis fell on the wrong part. 01:02:42.000 --> 01:02:46.000 But this is the first part. 01:02:46.000 --> 01:03:14.000 The second is, so then Christ is on the throne and he who is the resurrection and life is in person in me. 01:03:14.000 --> 01:03:23.000 So then Christ is on the throne and he who is the resurrection and life in person is in me. 01:03:23.000 --> 01:03:26.000 He's in person in me. 01:03:26.000 --> 01:03:31.000 Once you begin to think like this, even sinning becomes a little harder. 01:03:31.000 --> 01:03:36.000 How do you sin when you're more and more conscious of resurrection and life in you?
