When He disrupts things with His glory, He devastates 00:00:24.400 --> 00:00:29.780 the landscape in terms of destroying all that is evil. He devastates the landscape so that 00:00:29.780 --> 00:00:35.740 His goodness, His power, His laughter, His love can burst through it. He's been doing 00:00:35.740 --> 00:00:42.740 it right from the Garden of Eden. We said that there is a revival that God is causing 00:00:46.460 --> 00:00:53.060 through this church across the earth. We've talked about how ridiculous it is to think 00:00:53.060 --> 00:00:57.780 that a revival could start amongst these people here and that we would have seed that we would 00:00:57.820 --> 00:01:03.460 take and plant across the earth. It's only a matter of months or years before nations 00:01:03.460 --> 00:01:10.460 will be saturated with seed that will spread and that we are at present the igniters of 00:01:14.100 --> 00:01:20.020 a revival across the earth. That is such a presumptuous claim and yet that is true. We 00:01:20.020 --> 00:01:25.420 went over why it is true. I'm not going to cover that ground. I'm just laying that down 00:01:25.620 --> 00:01:31.260 because some of us haven't heard that before. We said that God is writing this revival that 00:01:31.260 --> 00:01:37.380 He's igniting through us, that He's writing or striding this revival as a purifier, and 00:01:37.380 --> 00:01:43.660 that out of this revival will rise a generation of teens, of 20s, of 30s who will be God-seers 00:01:43.660 --> 00:01:50.060 and ancient door-openers. That they'll be God-seers because God is striding this revival 00:01:50.060 --> 00:01:55.740 as a purifier. Whatever God appears in a revival as is what the revival will produce 00:01:55.740 --> 00:02:02.740 fruit in. If He's going to be a purifier in this revival, then He'll raise a generation 00:02:02.740 --> 00:02:07.940 that will be pure in heart. We said that amongst the teens, the 20s, and 30s, this is what's 00:02:07.940 --> 00:02:14.940 going to happen. You want to give me some? No? Don't eat it. But there's a three-second 00:02:14.940 --> 00:02:21.940 rule. Thanks. Your dad does not believe in the three-second rule. You can eat it. Oh, 00:02:33.940 --> 00:02:40.940 no. Do you mind removing your family from being such a distraction? Okay. Yeah. So, 00:02:45.300 --> 00:02:52.300 God's going to raise up teens, 20s, and 30s who will be God-seers because it's only the 00:02:53.740 --> 00:02:59.260 pure that see God and know where He's going and ancient door-openers. That's a generation 00:02:59.260 --> 00:03:06.260 that's coming up. We said that it would arrest historical desolation and it would cause generational 00:03:06.780 --> 00:03:11.340 restoration. These are terms already explained, so I don't want to go into that. It will arrest 00:03:11.340 --> 00:03:16.140 historical desolation. Heritages that have been desolate in nations for years will be 00:03:16.140 --> 00:03:23.140 arrested, and it will also cause generational restoration. As in, there'll be multiple generations 00:03:26.060 --> 00:03:33.060 that arise for the next 40, 50, 60, 70 years that will restore things. That's what we've 00:03:33.100 --> 00:03:36.740 already spoken about, so I just wanted to go over those two lines and then go on to 00:03:37.060 --> 00:03:44.060 what we need to talk about. Guys, disruptive glory is what brings about a distinction between 00:03:44.060 --> 00:03:51.060 the one true God and all others. Disruptive glory, we have to call it disruptive glory. 00:03:51.580 --> 00:03:57.660 Jacob, why not just call it glory? Because it doesn't explain what God is going to do. 00:03:57.660 --> 00:04:01.940 There's a sense of disruption about what He's going to do. He's going to disrupt things 00:04:01.940 --> 00:04:08.940 with His absolute splendor, magnificence, weight, strength, laughter, power, goodness. 00:04:10.180 --> 00:04:17.180 That is how He's going to do it. So, disruptive glory draws a distinction between the one 00:04:22.940 --> 00:04:29.940 true God and others. So, what does it mean? It means that the one true God is the one 00:04:32.020 --> 00:04:38.380 God. Between the one true God and others. He's always done it this way. Be it on Carmel 00:04:38.380 --> 00:04:45.380 when he had to tell Israel, who do you want to serve? Be it in Carmel, be it in Egypt 00:04:48.020 --> 00:04:53.420 when they had to choose between all the gods of Egypt and the god of Israel. Be it in Sinai 00:04:53.420 --> 00:04:59.020 when Israel had God form a nation. Be it on the Mount of Transfiguration. One of the things 00:04:59.020 --> 00:05:04.100 we need to realize is that disruptive glory is the greatest tool of evangelism. It is 00:05:04.100 --> 00:05:11.100 the greatest tool of evangelism. And it is also the most dangerous weapon against the 00:05:14.620 --> 00:05:21.620 enemy. Against the enemy. 00:05:29.540 --> 00:05:36.060 So, take scriptures and you'll see it. What happened in Cana when he turned water into 00:05:36.060 --> 00:05:42.620 wine? They beheld his glory and it changed them. What happened on the Mount of Transfiguration 00:05:42.620 --> 00:05:49.620 when he took on what he really looked like? Peter talks about it years later in 2 Peter 00:05:49.980 --> 00:05:56.500 1. What happens when he rolls the stone away and Lazarus is called out? People began to 00:05:56.500 --> 00:06:03.500 believe him. What happens when Dagon falls in the temple of Dagon when the ark moves 00:06:06.980 --> 00:06:13.980 in? The glory of God moved in and Eid al-Fell. The Bible is littered with stories of God's 00:06:15.060 --> 00:06:22.060 glory either drawing people to them, to himself or God's glory destroying the enemy. And when 00:06:23.060 --> 00:06:29.260 this disruptive glory begins to display itself through me, then two things will happen. One, 00:06:29.260 --> 00:06:33.940 it becomes the greatest tool of evangelism. Two, it becomes the most dangerous weapon 00:06:33.940 --> 00:06:39.100 that I can use to destroy the enemy. Guys, there are places I go to absolutely aware 00:06:39.100 --> 00:06:46.100 that the dread of God is upon the powers as I walk into a place. Hear me again, eh? And 00:06:46.740 --> 00:06:51.940 this is not a Jacob post. It is just a knowing. There are some places, I mean, you sometimes, 00:06:51.940 --> 00:06:58.940 I've seen really good vets like dog doctors who can go into a room full of really nasty 00:07:01.540 --> 00:07:06.020 dogs. There's this guy called Hansel that I know in Bahrain. He has this ability to go 00:07:06.020 --> 00:07:11.100 into a place where there are really nasty dogs and when he goes the dogs are settled 00:07:11.100 --> 00:07:17.220 down. It's almost like Crocodile Dundee. Many of you don't know who that is. That's 00:07:17.220 --> 00:07:23.500 okay. But it's almost like that guy. There are places that I've gone to where I have 00:07:23.500 --> 00:07:30.500 seen powers know the dread of Yahweh because I've stepped into a place. And it has nothing 00:07:34.140 --> 00:07:40.420 to do with me. It has everything to do with the weight of God that sometimes displays 00:07:40.420 --> 00:07:44.340 itself to me. What if it displays itself on a regular basis? I've said this to you before, 00:07:44.340 --> 00:07:49.060 at least I've said to some of you before. I remember going to Indonesia and there were 00:07:49.060 --> 00:07:53.220 witch doctors who would come up on stage and when they would come up on stage to try and 00:07:53.220 --> 00:07:59.900 do harm, before they could climb up, they would fall and it had nothing to do with me. 00:07:59.900 --> 00:08:05.060 It's recorded on, I mean, television crews were recording it. So there's documented evidence 00:08:05.060 --> 00:08:09.820 for this. It's not something I imagined. There were thousands of people watching it as they 00:08:09.820 --> 00:08:13.980 would come up, faces painted with white and they would hardly make their ways up the step 00:08:13.980 --> 00:08:19.060 and they would fall. So Jacob, are we to expect dramatic stuff like this? When has this God 00:08:19.060 --> 00:08:26.060 not been dramatic? We've got to stop believing this lie that this God is routine. There's 00:08:28.660 --> 00:08:34.780 very little that is routine about this God. When my life is routine, I shouldn't make 00:08:34.780 --> 00:08:40.100 my God routine. We're doing what Michelangelo did. Make God look like a little older than 00:08:40.100 --> 00:08:47.100 Adam. I mean in the chapel. God's glory is the greatest tool of evangelism. It is also 00:08:50.940 --> 00:08:57.940 the most dangerous weapon you can use because God's glory is his spirit. Shekinah. Any questions 00:08:58.340 --> 00:09:05.340 on that? I hate it when God's glory stays within the Bible. Hate it. Then we are just 00:09:16.020 --> 00:09:23.020 like any other people with the holy book, man. I hate it when God's glory stays within 00:09:27.940 --> 00:09:33.500 the Bible. The reason sometimes that we don't experience this is because we try to accommodate 00:09:33.500 --> 00:09:40.500 his glory. We try to accommodate his glory. As a church, as people, hey, at the end of 00:09:40.900 --> 00:09:46.060 the day, even when we say church, remember a church is made up of individuals and so 00:09:46.060 --> 00:09:51.700 you have to, because you're part of this church, refuse to accommodate God's glory. As in we 00:09:51.700 --> 00:09:56.460 can't create, how do we accommodate God's glory? We give him some time to do what he 00:09:56.460 --> 00:10:03.460 wants. We create some time on a Sunday. During the service we create some time. That's not 00:10:05.940 --> 00:10:11.660 the way he works. He does not look for services. He looks for a people. The service is just 00:10:11.660 --> 00:10:17.260 an event that happens to the people because he turns up, he's so not interested in a service. 00:10:18.260 --> 00:10:23.260 All he's looking for is a people and he's looking for a people 24x7 and the problem 00:10:23.260 --> 00:10:29.260 is he knows my heart and my mind and what I'm actually thinking and feeling. With masks 00:10:29.260 --> 00:10:36.260 on, it's even harder to decipher what you're thinking, but he can. And so here's something 00:10:36.260 --> 00:10:43.260 he wants us to know. I will not be accommodated by you. I wish I could write it in caps so 00:10:49.380 --> 00:10:56.380 it sounds like God. I will not be accommodated. Take it as a Ramah word to us and to each 00:10:58.660 --> 00:11:03.660 of us individually, to me as a pastor, to us corporately. I will not be accommodated 00:11:03.660 --> 00:11:10.660 by you. I will not be accommodated by you. Isaiah 29 verse 13 talks about it. No, not 00:11:17.420 --> 00:11:24.420 yet. Isaiah 29, 13. He's, you know, he's not going to be accommodated by you. He's 00:11:33.660 --> 00:11:40.660 going to be accommodated by you. He's the most important person in the universe. Everything 00:11:44.860 --> 00:11:49.660 exists because of him. You don't know what it feels like when he gets accommodated, when 00:11:49.660 --> 00:11:56.660 we play nice with him. How do you feel when you're accommodated? When you're being patronized? 00:11:58.420 --> 00:12:02.860 When you think they are putting up with you because it's an obligation. They got two hours. 00:12:03.060 --> 00:12:07.300 They got to put up with you. After that, they're glad you're gone. Every time dawn comes, I 00:12:07.300 --> 00:12:14.300 feel like that. Isaiah 29, 13. The Lord says, these people come near to me with their mouth 00:12:19.260 --> 00:12:23.180 and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far away from me. Their worship is off 00:12:23.180 --> 00:12:28.180 me. The worship of me is made up only of rules taught by men. It may not be talking about 00:12:28.180 --> 00:12:35.180 us, but I want you to know how every day God gets accommodated and it ain't good enough. 00:12:37.460 --> 00:12:42.940 He's saying to us, I will not be accommodated by you. That is a very direct word to us as 00:12:42.940 --> 00:12:49.940 Acts 29. I will not be accommodated by you, but you can be foolish, but you can be foolish 00:12:49.940 --> 00:12:56.940 and surrender to me and surrender to my glory because my glory needs vessels to be poured 00:12:56.940 --> 00:13:03.940 into and poured out of. I will not be accommodated by you. I will not be accommodated by you. 00:13:27.540 --> 00:13:33.340 Huzzah is going over this word again and again because I felt this was a direct speak to 00:13:33.340 --> 00:13:39.940 us. Listen, guys, I will not be accommodated by you. I'm unwilling to be accommodated by 00:13:39.940 --> 00:13:44.260 you. If you try to accommodate me, I will not turn up. Do not think that God turns up 00:13:44.260 --> 00:13:49.660 every time in every church. That's a falsehood. That just because we sing a few songs and 00:13:49.660 --> 00:13:53.300 are gathered together in agreement that God turns up, God turns up where he knows that 00:13:53.300 --> 00:13:59.420 he's not being accommodated. We've created a theology of, oh, God is here. God is very 00:13:59.420 --> 00:14:06.420 often not there. Jacob, how can you say that? Check the Old Testament, man. Why do you bring 00:14:07.820 --> 00:14:12.140 me these sacrifices? Why do you bring me these things during full moon and feast? I'm not 00:14:12.140 --> 00:14:16.980 interested in it. If he used to say that in the Old Testament when he was outside and 00:14:16.980 --> 00:14:21.140 he could tolerate some misunderstanding, how much more in the New Testament when he lives 00:14:21.140 --> 00:14:28.060 inside me and inside us? He is not always present. As in he is present because he's 00:14:28.060 --> 00:14:33.340 omnipresent but it's not like he's actually saying, ah, finally found a place. And to 00:14:33.340 --> 00:14:37.740 us he's making it even stricter. Guys, I poured far too much into you, taught you far too 00:14:37.740 --> 00:14:43.340 much. I will not be accommodated by you. You try to accommodate me, I will not be there. 00:14:43.340 --> 00:14:50.340 And then Jane will have to do her best to drum up enthusiasm. Sax will have to play 00:14:50.460 --> 00:14:57.460 like crazy. I will not be accommodated by you. But you can be foolish and you can surrender 00:15:00.700 --> 00:15:07.100 to my glory. There is just no way to surrender to disruptive glory except to be foolish. 00:15:07.100 --> 00:15:13.860 I hope we sing undignified at the end. Except to be foolish. Foolishness is the only way 00:15:13.860 --> 00:15:19.820 into the core of God's heart. Foolishness is the only way you enter into the core of 00:15:19.820 --> 00:15:26.820 God's heart. Only way. And here's another thing I want you to know. You cannot dive 00:15:27.260 --> 00:15:34.260 into God's glory sitting alone at home. The bridegroom reveals himself to the bride. The 00:15:36.540 --> 00:15:43.540 bride, you are not the bride. You are part of the bride. You sit at home. I'm taking 00:15:44.540 --> 00:15:51.540 you're coming on too strong. Absolutely. You sit at home and think you can sit at home 00:15:51.540 --> 00:15:55.460 and not be part of the body and enjoy what God is going to do and be part of what God 00:15:55.460 --> 00:15:59.660 is going to do. Ain't going to happen regardless of how gifted you are, how skilled you are. 00:15:59.660 --> 00:16:06.660 And the reason I need to say this now is because it's going to get worse. I mean there's more. 00:16:06.660 --> 00:16:13.660 I'm not talking about sitting at home if you have a reason to sit at home. I'm talking 00:16:16.940 --> 00:16:23.940 about sitting at home because you can afford it. Affording it is accommodating God. Don't 00:16:26.540 --> 00:16:33.540 do it guys. Yeah, the question is I don't understand how God 00:16:49.140 --> 00:16:56.140 can be always present and yet not be present. So we've created this idea that God is present 00:16:56.740 --> 00:17:03.740 here and therefore we can access him. And that part is actually true because he's omnipresent 00:17:04.740 --> 00:17:09.460 whenever people gather or whenever people don't gather he's present. He's present with 00:17:09.460 --> 00:17:15.900 you at home. He's present here together. But if you want God to in his presence now begin 00:17:15.900 --> 00:17:22.900 to open his heart, open his mind, open his splendor, his glory and reign and say hey, 00:17:22.900 --> 00:17:29.900 want to share? That requires more than just his presence. It would be like Kori Ten Boom 00:17:29.900 --> 00:17:36.900 coming to your house. And you're very excited and you say oh, Kori Ten Boom is here, Kori 00:17:39.540 --> 00:17:44.740 Ten Boom is here but she doesn't say anything about her life. It would be like Bill Gates 00:17:44.740 --> 00:17:49.980 coming to your house. It would be like Warren Buffett coming to your house. And all you 00:17:49.980 --> 00:17:56.620 do with Warren Buffett is go and eat at a buffet. Doesn't help much. I mean he'll think 00:17:56.780 --> 00:18:03.140 you're making fun of him. When Warren Buffett comes home don't take him out to a buffet. 00:18:03.140 --> 00:18:08.540 Dig his mind. And the only way you dig his mind is when you actually honor him, respect 00:18:08.540 --> 00:18:15.540 him, run after him. God is present but his presence does not mean that he lets himself 00:18:15.540 --> 00:18:22.540 know. Perfect example. Jesus was present on earth. What happened man? He was present on 00:18:23.020 --> 00:18:30.020 earth and people missed out. Why? Nicodemus tried to accommodate him in the chosen. It's 00:18:40.260 --> 00:18:43.620 very odd. Now you have to say Nicodemus tried to accommodate him in the chosen as opposed 00:18:43.620 --> 00:18:50.620 to the Bible. I love those people. I love those people. I love those people. I love 00:18:52.540 --> 00:18:56.380 the fact that he's saying to us I refuse to be accommodated by you. You guys try to 00:18:56.380 --> 00:19:03.380 accommodate me. I will not show up. Brilliant. Amen oh God. Don't show up. Yeah. I like 00:19:03.380 --> 00:19:10.380 this God man. He's so challenging. He just refuses to be easy. So you can be foolish 00:19:10.380 --> 00:19:17.380 and surrender to my glory. It's the only way we can handle him. God can only be handled 00:19:24.820 --> 00:19:31.820 when you're foolish. God can only be handled if you're foolish. I mean you can be foolish 00:19:33.300 --> 00:19:40.300 and surrender to my glory. I mean you can be foolish and surrender to my glory. Once you're foolish 00:20:16.740 --> 00:20:23.740 I'll begin to display myself and pour myself out through you. That's how this works. The first thing we need to realize if you want to become that kind of a vessel 00:20:32.440 --> 00:20:39.440 is that you are not your own. Hey you got to answer this question again and again and again throughout 00:20:50.040 --> 00:20:56.240 this week and in the coming weeks. Whose are you? Whose are you? I don't know if that's 00:20:56.240 --> 00:21:02.080 correct English but we'll go with that. Whose are you? Please don't say God because that's 00:21:02.080 --> 00:21:07.200 a very easy answer. First we have to deal with the answer. Whose are you? The response 00:21:07.200 --> 00:21:14.200 is not mine my own. Whose are you? You are not yours. You are not yours. You are not 00:21:16.740 --> 00:21:22.760 yours. Whose are you? You are not yours. You do not belong to yourself. You've been bought 00:21:22.760 --> 00:21:28.640 at a price. You've been bought at a price from the destroyer. You've been bought at 00:21:28.640 --> 00:21:34.400 a price at a blood price from the destroyer. You do not belong to yourself. You are not 00:21:34.400 --> 00:21:40.840 your own. You are not your own. It is so hard to get used to that in a world that says mine 00:21:40.840 --> 00:21:47.840 mine mine mine mine. It is very hard to get used to. It's so easy to go from whose are 00:21:49.680 --> 00:21:54.740 you? I am God's. That's easy but there's a place I need to park before I go and say I 00:21:54.940 --> 00:22:01.940 am God's and that place is I am not my own. Whose are you? I am not my own. I am not my 00:22:05.940 --> 00:22:11.060 own. I've been repeating this to myself. Jacob you are not your own. You do not own yourself. 00:22:11.060 --> 00:22:15.740 You do not belong to yourself. You do not have a right to self determination. You do 00:22:15.740 --> 00:22:21.460 not have a right to yourself. These are horrible things to say because the world screams exactly 00:22:21.460 --> 00:22:27.100 the opposite. That you have the right to self determination. The moment you got born 00:22:27.100 --> 00:22:31.900 again, the moment you got saved, you lost your right of self determination. It belongs 00:22:31.900 --> 00:22:38.900 to someone else who paid a price for it. You are not your own. After you answer that question 00:22:41.620 --> 00:22:46.580 and get used to the fact that you are not your own, you ask it again. Whose are you? 00:22:46.580 --> 00:22:52.660 Now you can say Christ but do not transition from whose are you to straight to God because 00:22:52.660 --> 00:22:59.660 it doesn't work. You have to disown before you can be owned. Unfortunately it doesn't 00:23:03.180 --> 00:23:10.180 end there. Whose are you? You are not your own. You are Christ and you are ours. That 00:23:10.180 --> 00:23:17.180 suddenly brought a strunt silent. People were nodding until I said Christ. Suddenly 00:23:18.900 --> 00:23:24.120 when I changed it to you are not your own, you are Christ and you are ours. You belong 00:23:24.120 --> 00:23:31.120 to us. What do I mean by us? The body of Christ. You belong to us. You see how self determination 00:23:31.540 --> 00:23:38.540 suddenly evaporates when you belong to visible people. You are not your own. You belong to 00:23:40.180 --> 00:23:47.180 your own. You are Christ and you are ours. I am not my own. I am Christ and the moment 00:23:47.460 --> 00:23:54.460 I am Christ, I am yours. Do you see why disruptive glory finds it very hard to make an inroad 00:23:56.800 --> 00:24:02.860 into life and make an outroad out of, make a road out of lives? Because if we don't cross 00:24:02.860 --> 00:24:09.860 this threshold, it's very hard to go any further. You are talking about the glory that Christ 00:24:10.180 --> 00:24:16.940 created the universe. It can only be accommodated when it has no self interest. We are not there 00:24:16.940 --> 00:24:23.940 but my God we can start getting there. You are not your own. Whose are you? You are not 00:24:23.940 --> 00:24:29.220 your own. Whose are you? You are Christ's. Whose are you? You are Christ's and you are 00:24:29.220 --> 00:24:36.220 ours. My God when people begin to exert ownership over me, now it gets troublesome. It was okay 00:24:36.540 --> 00:24:43.540 as long as it was Christ. Manoj is ours. Manoj is ours. He belongs to Christ and he belongs 00:24:44.340 --> 00:24:51.340 to us. We can't demand that of him but he can offer that to us. The moment we demand 00:24:51.340 --> 00:24:58.340 that of him, we are now stepping into this cultish, legalistic, religious place. But 00:24:58.340 --> 00:25:05.340 he can offer. Whose are you? You are not your own. You are Christ's and you are ours. We 00:25:05.340 --> 00:25:12.340 won't demand it of you but we will wait to see if you will offer it and then finally 00:25:12.340 --> 00:25:19.340 you are the spirit's dwelling place. Where do we find this in 1 Corinthians 6? In the 00:25:25.860 --> 00:25:32.860 Bible, it says that the spirit dwells in the house of God. The house of God is the house 00:25:32.940 --> 00:25:39.940 of God. That is the spirit's dwelling place. Where do we find this in 1 Corinthians 6? 00:25:43.440 --> 00:25:49.140 19.
