00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:05.000
Does Jane know you're behind the board?

00:00:05.000 --> 00:00:06.000
Okay.

00:00:06.000 --> 00:00:12.000
Alright, guys, so today we talk about Day of the Sun's Part 2.

00:00:12.000 --> 00:00:18.000
We did this yesterday, we started yesterday, so you'll have to go and listen to yesterday's first part,

00:00:18.000 --> 00:00:22.000
if you want to have a background on the second part.

00:00:22.000 --> 00:00:33.000
So, even though it's Father's Day, the title of the teaching is Day of the Sun's Part 2.

00:00:33.000 --> 00:00:40.000
And yesterday we looked at Psalm 45, 16 and 17.

00:00:40.000 --> 00:00:43.000
Sheldon, I hope you're making notes.

00:00:43.000 --> 00:00:44.000
Okay.

00:00:44.000 --> 00:00:51.000
Psalm 45, verse 16 and 17.

00:00:51.000 --> 00:00:55.000
This is commitment, huh?

00:00:55.000 --> 00:01:00.000
You get six months free probation.

00:01:00.000 --> 00:01:03.000
Psalm 45, verse 16 and 17, it says,

00:01:03.000 --> 00:01:10.000
Your sons will take the place of your fathers, you will make them princes throughout the land.

00:01:10.000 --> 00:01:16.000
I will perpetuate your memory through all generations, therefore the nations will praise you forever and ever.

00:01:16.000 --> 00:01:27.000
So, the reason we are talking about this on Father's Day is because any father has a desire to see his son perpetuate his name.

00:01:27.000 --> 00:01:28.000
That is the intent.

00:01:28.000 --> 00:01:33.000
Every father has a desire to see his name perpetuated by his son.

00:01:33.000 --> 00:01:41.000
And so every father has a desire that the sons will take the place of their fathers.

00:01:41.000 --> 00:01:45.000
And that they will rule as regents in the land that the father has.

00:01:45.000 --> 00:01:50.000
And this was the intent that the father had in Genesis where he looked at Adam and said, Adam, you're my son.

00:01:50.000 --> 00:01:52.000
He used to call Adam the son of God.

00:01:52.000 --> 00:01:54.000
Luke 3.38 talks about it.

00:01:54.000 --> 00:02:01.000
And then he says that, listen, Adam, you're my son and I want you to be my regent, as in the one who rules on my behalf.

00:02:01.000 --> 00:02:09.000
I want you to perpetuate my name and that is why I made you after my image and likeness so that you take on my kind.

00:02:09.000 --> 00:02:11.000
I trust you.

00:02:11.000 --> 00:02:13.000
That was the intent.

00:02:13.000 --> 00:02:20.000
And so on Father's Day to speak of the Day of the Sons is just perfect because that's what fathers actually desire.

00:02:20.000 --> 00:02:26.000
And when revival awakens any people, God becomes visibly available as father.

00:02:26.000 --> 00:02:34.000
God becomes visibly available as father.

00:02:38.000 --> 00:02:42.000
That's one of the things that becomes evident in any genuine revival.

00:02:42.000 --> 00:02:45.000
God becomes visibly available as a father.

00:02:45.000 --> 00:02:53.000
And he becomes visibly available as a father with his heart, with his nature, with his function, with his approach, with his motivation.

00:02:53.000 --> 00:02:55.000
That becomes most evident.

00:02:55.000 --> 00:03:00.000
The unfortunate thing is though that Satan also functions the same way.

00:03:00.000 --> 00:03:03.000
Jesus called him the father of lies.

00:03:04.000 --> 00:03:15.000
The unfortunate thing is that Satan functions the same way and in Ephesians 2 we see that he is raising children of disobedience who follow the father of lies.

00:03:15.000 --> 00:03:19.000
So fatherhood is not limited to the kingdom.

00:03:19.000 --> 00:03:28.000
Everything in the satanic kingdom, everything in the non-Christ kingdom is a counterfeit of what has been started by the father.

00:03:28.000 --> 00:03:31.000
There's nothing creative that the devil can do.

00:03:32.000 --> 00:03:34.000
He has never invented a single thing.

00:03:34.000 --> 00:03:37.000
He only counterfeits what is good.

00:03:37.000 --> 00:03:40.000
He takes power and makes it domination.

00:03:40.000 --> 00:03:42.000
He takes sex and he makes it lust.

00:03:42.000 --> 00:03:45.000
He takes money and it makes it greed.

00:03:47.000 --> 00:03:52.000
He takes wisdom and makes it earthly knowledge.

00:03:52.000 --> 00:03:56.000
So he can only distort what God has created.

00:03:56.000 --> 00:04:06.000
Because he was aware of who God was, because he has seen God in real before he gets cast out of heaven, the thing is Satan also practices fatherhood.

00:04:06.000 --> 00:04:16.000
Only his fatherhood is fathering orphans and keeping them as orphans while God is a father who receives orphans and changes them into sons and daughters.

00:04:17.000 --> 00:04:22.000
So there is this raising of the children of disobedience who follow the father of lies.

00:04:22.000 --> 00:04:28.000
So when we talk about fatherhood, there are two fathers trying to perpetuate who they are through their sons.

00:04:28.000 --> 00:04:33.000
Only we have a good father who perpetuates his son through us.

00:04:33.000 --> 00:04:38.000
And then there is a father of lies who keeps them as orphans who perpetuates his character.

00:04:43.000 --> 00:04:45.000
So what we're going to talk about today is, okay,

00:04:46.000 --> 00:04:55.000
So now that God is saying, I want my sons to take the place of their fathers, what does it look like for you and I?

00:04:55.000 --> 00:04:59.000
We're not going to look at ourselves as, oh, we are sons.

00:04:59.000 --> 00:05:03.000
We're going to look at, on Father's Day, what would it be if we began to behave like the father?

00:05:06.000 --> 00:05:10.000
On Father's Day, what would it look like if you and I began to behave like fathers?

00:05:10.000 --> 00:05:15.000
And the term fathers and the term sons, just for our knowledge, is gender free.

00:05:15.000 --> 00:05:17.000
It is not limited to male or female.

00:05:17.000 --> 00:05:21.000
So when I say the word father, don't think, ah shucks, I'm a female.

00:05:21.000 --> 00:05:25.000
No, when I say the word sons, don't think, ah shucks, I'm not a guy.

00:05:27.000 --> 00:05:29.000
It's genderless.

00:05:29.000 --> 00:05:35.000
So if we began to think of, okay, so the Father in Heaven, just like he did with Jesus,

00:05:35.000 --> 00:05:43.000
wants us to step into this place where we become fathers to the world, to people, to our family, to the church family,

00:05:43.000 --> 00:05:46.000
so that we can convey what we need to, well then, what does it look like?

00:05:46.000 --> 00:05:56.000
The first thing is, as a father, as a father, your main assignment, as a father is to be a father.

00:05:56.000 --> 00:06:04.000
As a father, your main assignment, as a father, your main assignment is to make, you're good man, thanks so much,

00:06:04.000 --> 00:06:09.000
is to make fathers out of your sons.

00:06:13.000 --> 00:06:15.000
That is so cool, man.

00:06:15.000 --> 00:06:20.000
As a father, your main assignment is to make fathers out of your sons.

00:06:20.000 --> 00:06:26.000
As in, can you make the ones that are in your charge become like him?

00:06:27.000 --> 00:06:29.000
That is your main assignment.

00:06:34.000 --> 00:06:36.000
Our assignment is not to recruit more sons.

00:06:36.000 --> 00:06:44.000
Our assignment is, can I now do what Psalm 45, verse 16 and 17 says, so that you begin to look more like him?

00:06:44.000 --> 00:06:47.000
Our main assignment is to make fathers out of sons.

00:06:47.000 --> 00:07:09.000
Second, as a father, as a father, your children must experience the heavenly father, must experience the heavenly father.

00:07:09.000 --> 00:07:15.000
Father, you can always relax between writings, like just chill out.

00:07:15.000 --> 00:07:18.000
No, not that chill out.

00:07:20.000 --> 00:07:22.000
Give a foot to take a yard nowadays.

00:07:24.000 --> 00:07:34.000
So, as a father, you must experience, as a father, one of your heart's desire is, my children must experience the heavenly father.

00:07:34.000 --> 00:07:41.000
My children must not know or study, but must experience the heavenly father.

00:07:42.000 --> 00:07:45.000
These must be so concrete in your heart, guys.

00:07:46.000 --> 00:07:51.000
The thing is, there's nobody here who cannot operate in this role.

00:07:56.000 --> 00:08:01.000
This must be something you desire, because this is what the father wanted to perpetuate on earth.

00:08:01.000 --> 00:08:07.000
That is why he says, listen, I want you to be conformed to the stature of my son, Jesus Christ, Ephesians 4, 17.

00:08:07.000 --> 00:08:12.000
I want you to be like that. Why? So that then you can go and do what my son did.

00:08:14.000 --> 00:08:22.000
Any questions on that? Any thoughts as in, maybe this isn't really the main thing? It is.

00:08:23.000 --> 00:08:24.000
Any questions?

00:08:24.000 --> 00:08:25.000
Any questions?

00:08:27.000 --> 00:08:31.000
Are you just flexing your arm, not raising your arm?

00:08:34.000 --> 00:08:38.000
Your children must experience the heavenly father. As a father.

00:08:41.000 --> 00:08:43.000
It is to make fathers out of sons.

00:08:45.000 --> 00:08:49.000
It's very difficult when you have to start talking to your digital board. It feels very weird.

00:08:52.000 --> 00:08:53.000
Any questions, guys?

00:08:55.000 --> 00:08:56.000
Yep.

00:09:00.000 --> 00:09:06.000
How we can aid that, yeah. One of the ways we aid, okay, Evan's question is, how do we go about it?

00:09:06.000 --> 00:09:14.000
How do we go about making fathers out of our sons? How do we go about having our children experience the heavenly father?

00:09:14.000 --> 00:09:21.000
Let me first define sons and children. Anyone who is placed in your charge by God is.

00:09:24.000 --> 00:09:29.000
And it doesn't, it's not age relevant. Anyone.

00:09:31.000 --> 00:09:38.000
And so, you then have to, yeah, we'll talk about it. Further down we'll talk about it. Yeah.

00:09:41.000 --> 00:09:49.000
Guys, the thing is, as a father, the capacity to birth and nurture is inherently present in you.

00:09:50.000 --> 00:09:56.000
The capacity to birth and nurture is inherently present in you.

00:09:56.000 --> 00:10:00.000
Jacob, how can you say that? Guys, we've got to go back to the book of Genesis, chapter one.

00:10:00.000 --> 00:10:04.000
What did he say there? What was his primary intent? Here's what I want you to do.

00:10:04.000 --> 00:10:10.000
I want you to go forth. I want you to multiply. I want you to multiply. I want you to go forth.

00:10:10.000 --> 00:10:15.000
I want you to replenish the earth and I want you to subdue. What was his intent for man right off the bat?

00:10:15.000 --> 00:10:21.000
Listen, I made you like me. I want you to go and fill the earth with more like-me's.

00:10:23.000 --> 00:10:29.000
It is inherent in human beings to multiply after his kind and then it gets shattered.

00:10:29.000 --> 00:10:33.000
And another father comes in and he begins to multiply after his kind.

00:10:35.000 --> 00:10:43.000
And then comes Jesus and he gets it back, redeems it, restores it and says, alright, plan A is still functioning.

00:10:43.000 --> 00:10:50.000
There is no plan B. Go now and do exactly what I told Adam to do that he messed up. You can start doing it again.

00:10:50.000 --> 00:10:55.000
What is the first step in doing it? Become like my son because my son is like me.

00:10:57.000 --> 00:11:02.000
So we have a visible image of the invisible father and we become like him.

00:11:02.000 --> 00:11:12.000
As we become like him, it is natural, it is inherent in you to begin to help others become what you have now become.

00:11:14.000 --> 00:11:24.000
It is inherent in you. Hey, you can read all the parenting books you want to and then you have that baby and those books are useless.

00:11:24.000 --> 00:11:27.000
You can use them when you run out of Pampers.

00:11:29.000 --> 00:11:33.000
That's the only use because your child is like no other child.

00:11:33.000 --> 00:11:39.000
And then you begin to find out that inherent in you is this ability to take care of the child.

00:11:39.000 --> 00:11:46.000
That you will not sleep, that you will spend crazy money, that you will think crying is music.

00:11:46.000 --> 00:11:56.000
All kinds of things happen and suddenly you realize that inherent in you is the ability to birth and nurture.

00:11:56.000 --> 00:11:59.000
And it must be after, the only catch is it must be after his kind.

00:12:00.000 --> 00:12:07.000
And the world around you will do everything in its power to help the church raise up the children.

00:12:07.000 --> 00:12:12.000
To help the church raise up the children of God after the world's kind.

00:12:16.000 --> 00:12:20.000
All the education, all the entertainment, everything is geared towards one end.

00:12:20.000 --> 00:12:27.000
Can the people in the church raise their children not after his kind but after the world's kind?

00:12:27.000 --> 00:12:30.000
How do they do it? They do it just like Nebuchadnezzar do it.

00:12:30.000 --> 00:12:32.000
Name your child a different name.

00:12:32.000 --> 00:12:36.000
Give your child the deities that King Nebuchadnezzar said before.

00:12:36.000 --> 00:12:39.000
Thousands of young men and only three stood up.

00:12:39.000 --> 00:12:41.000
The rest of them went for it.

00:12:46.000 --> 00:12:47.000
It is inherent in you.

00:12:48.000 --> 00:12:50.000
But this desire must first grow, right?

00:12:53.000 --> 00:12:55.000
This desire must first grow.

00:12:56.000 --> 00:12:58.000
Hey guys, my mum is 81.

00:13:01.000 --> 00:13:03.000
I do my best to father her.

00:13:04.000 --> 00:13:06.000
That sounds like such a weird statement.

00:13:08.000 --> 00:13:13.000
But I'll do everything in my power to help her experience the father.

00:13:13.000 --> 00:13:21.000
I'll do everything in my power to try and interact with her like the father interacts with me and expects me to interact with her.

00:13:21.000 --> 00:13:30.000
At some point in her life she acknowledged that her son could be someone who could help her and tell her what to do.

00:13:31.000 --> 00:13:33.000
And immediately the role changed.

00:13:35.000 --> 00:13:43.000
Whenever I feel snappish, whenever I feel irritated, whenever I want to shout at her for something she's doing that doesn't fit my fancy,

00:13:43.000 --> 00:13:49.000
could be right but I still don't like it, I'll have to go back into this place that doesn't fit my fancy.

00:13:49.000 --> 00:13:56.000
I'll have to go back into this place that, Jacob, yes you are a son but you need to know how to spiritually father even your mother.

00:14:00.000 --> 00:14:06.000
We don't realize how much God desires this for us and through us into other people's lives.

00:14:12.000 --> 00:14:13.000
Any questions?

00:14:19.000 --> 00:14:24.000
Not everybody has a spiritual father that they can model themselves as.

00:14:34.000 --> 00:14:35.000
You mentioned that.

00:14:50.000 --> 00:14:58.000
We are still trying to see if Martin Luther's Reformation 500 years ago is working properly or not and we still haven't gotten there.

00:15:01.000 --> 00:15:04.000
We still are struggling with the just shall live by faith.

00:15:06.000 --> 00:15:10.000
But a hundred years from now what if there's a sufficient groundswell?

00:15:10.000 --> 00:15:13.000
How do you father somebody who has more?

00:15:15.000 --> 00:15:19.000
Because the authority part can come if it comes and when it comes.

00:15:20.000 --> 00:15:25.000
It is a heart that I'm trying to convey so that they can experience the Heavenly Father.

00:15:26.000 --> 00:15:28.000
It's a heart that they can experience the Heavenly Father.

00:15:29.000 --> 00:15:32.000
And it's a heart that they are able to experience the Heavenly Father.

00:15:34.000 --> 00:15:37.000
And it's a heart that they are able to experience the Heavenly Father.

00:15:37.000 --> 00:15:39.000
It is a heart that they can experience the Heavenly Father.

00:15:40.000 --> 00:15:41.000
It is a heart that I must convey.

00:15:42.000 --> 00:15:45.000
My mum has more authority over me because she is my mum.

00:15:46.000 --> 00:15:47.000
She has the right to bless me or curse me.

00:15:48.000 --> 00:15:49.000
Thank God she only blesses me.

00:15:52.000 --> 00:15:56.000
But can I convey what the father wants to her? Absolutely.

00:15:57.000 --> 00:16:00.000
When she is at my place then the authority structures shift.

00:16:01.000 --> 00:16:03.000
But when I'm at her place she is an authority over me.

00:16:03.000 --> 00:16:09.000
There are certain things that she always will have over me because I'm her son.

00:16:10.000 --> 00:16:17.000
So unfortunately because either we got it wrong, taught it wrong, behaved wrong, abused it.

00:16:18.000 --> 00:16:22.000
We think of being fathers in terms of authority.

00:16:23.000 --> 00:16:27.000
And God thinks of it as can you convey the attributes of my life?

00:16:28.000 --> 00:16:30.000
Can you convey what you guys talked about on Saturday?

00:16:34.000 --> 00:16:36.000
The authority part is the easy part.

00:16:37.000 --> 00:16:39.000
Hey Mark, take your mask off. Hey Mark, put your mask on.

00:16:40.000 --> 00:16:41.000
That's the authority part.

00:16:44.000 --> 00:16:46.000
It's the other part that is difficult.

00:16:47.000 --> 00:16:48.000
That is why the authority part is the easiest to choose.

00:16:48.000 --> 00:16:57.000
As a father you must see the value in an individual's destiny and you must also see God's corporate purpose.

00:16:58.000 --> 00:17:04.000
As a father you must see the value of a person's individual destiny.

00:17:05.000 --> 00:17:11.000
As in, okay, so what is the value of a person's individual destiny?

00:17:11.000 --> 00:17:15.000
As a father you must see the value of a person's individual destiny.

00:17:16.000 --> 00:17:20.000
As in, okay, so what is it, oh God, that you have for Rachel?

00:17:21.000 --> 00:17:22.000
What do you, oh God, have for Leah?

00:17:23.000 --> 00:17:25.000
And that's one part of it, an individual destiny.

00:17:26.000 --> 00:17:30.000
And then you take the entire family and say what is their common purpose?

00:17:31.000 --> 00:17:36.000
Because these individual destinies fit into the larger common purpose and it's the same way in the church.

00:17:36.000 --> 00:17:38.000
Suddenly everyone has a full-time job.

00:17:47.000 --> 00:17:50.000
Jacob, this is only for certain people, not for me.

00:17:51.000 --> 00:17:52.000
It is for anyone who belongs to the father.

00:17:53.000 --> 00:17:55.000
Because this is what the father is about.

00:17:56.000 --> 00:17:57.000
The father is continuously thinking like this.

00:17:57.000 --> 00:18:03.000
As a father, discipling and discipline is critical and it has fathering written into the DNA.

00:18:04.000 --> 00:18:10.000
As a father, and this is a tough one, because this is when we decide not to do anything,

00:18:11.000 --> 00:18:13.000
but we have to do something, we have to do something.

00:18:14.000 --> 00:18:15.000
We have to do something.

00:18:16.000 --> 00:18:20.000
And as a father, you have to have discipline and discipline.

00:18:20.000 --> 00:18:22.000
Discipline is part of the fathering DNA.

00:18:23.000 --> 00:18:25.000
Discipline is part of the fathering DNA.

00:18:40.000 --> 00:18:42.000
Jesus talks about it as a father.

00:18:43.000 --> 00:18:44.000
He talks about it as a father.

00:18:44.000 --> 00:18:55.000
Jesus talks about it in Hebrews chapter 12 and this is so critical.

00:18:55.000 --> 00:18:59.000
If you leave this out, you will raise children who cannot be fruitful.

00:18:59.000 --> 00:19:04.000
Leave this out and you will raise children, yes, they will grow up but they will not be fruitful.

00:19:04.000 --> 00:19:10.000
There is no fruitfulness in life without instruction, correction, discipline.

00:19:10.000 --> 00:19:14.000
And it is that the progression is instruction, correction, discipline.

00:19:14.000 --> 00:19:17.000
Some children, you instruct them, they learn.

00:19:17.000 --> 00:19:21.000
Some children don't learn through instruction so you go from instruction to correction.

00:19:21.000 --> 00:19:25.000
And some children don't learn through correction then you go from instruction to discipline.

00:19:25.000 --> 00:19:28.000
And God follows that pathway, He invented it.

00:19:28.000 --> 00:19:31.000
What does He do first with Cain?

00:19:31.000 --> 00:19:33.000
He knows where Cain is heading.

00:19:33.000 --> 00:19:34.000
What does He go and tell Cain?

00:19:34.000 --> 00:19:35.000
What does He go and tell Cain?

00:19:35.000 --> 00:19:39.000
Hey Cain, be careful, sin crouches at your door and is wanting to master you.

00:19:39.000 --> 00:19:46.000
Instruction, correction, discipline and why, why?

00:19:46.000 --> 00:19:49.000
For two reasons, one, so that I be fruitful.

00:19:49.000 --> 00:19:59.000
So fathers that avoid discipling and discipline through instruction, correction and discipline

00:19:59.000 --> 00:20:03.000
are fathers who will have sons that are grown up but you are doing them a disservice

00:20:03.000 --> 00:20:06.000
because they will never be fruitful.

00:20:06.000 --> 00:20:13.000
I don't know anything about gardening but I believe if you don't prune, they don't prune.

00:20:13.000 --> 00:20:16.000
They don't produce prunes.

00:20:16.000 --> 00:20:19.000
Yeah.

00:20:19.000 --> 00:20:21.000
What does a prune look like?

00:20:21.000 --> 00:20:25.000
No, don't point towards me.

00:20:25.000 --> 00:20:27.000
Oh, a plum is a prune?

00:20:27.000 --> 00:20:29.000
A dry plum is a prune.

00:20:29.000 --> 00:20:32.000
My God, I'm learning things today.

00:20:32.000 --> 00:20:42.000
The same thing is all these things I mentioned, Jesus walked this relationship with His father

00:20:42.000 --> 00:20:46.000
and He walked out of the, and He worked out this relationship with His disciples.

00:20:46.000 --> 00:20:49.000
Jesus walked this relationship with His father.

00:20:49.000 --> 00:20:53.000
We think Jesus didn't have any discipling, disciplining instruction.

00:20:53.000 --> 00:20:56.000
Of course He did.

00:20:56.000 --> 00:20:58.000
Hebrews 5 talks about it.

00:20:58.000 --> 00:21:02.000
That He learned obedience through suffering.

00:21:02.000 --> 00:21:04.000
He had to be instructed.

00:21:04.000 --> 00:21:07.000
He wasn't a kid who knew everything, downloaded it.

00:21:07.000 --> 00:21:08.000
He wasn't a robot.

00:21:08.000 --> 00:21:10.000
He wasn't like this digital board.

00:21:10.000 --> 00:21:14.000
He learned things.

00:21:14.000 --> 00:21:23.000
So Jesus walked in this relationship with His father and then worked out this relationship with disciples

00:21:23.000 --> 00:21:25.000
as must you.

00:21:25.000 --> 00:21:26.000
We learn from the Father.

00:21:26.000 --> 00:21:31.000
We then work it out with the people that we are placed with.

00:21:36.000 --> 00:21:37.000
What a cool thing, man.

00:21:37.000 --> 00:21:39.000
Everyone here has a full-time job.

00:21:43.000 --> 00:21:48.000
And once you take on this full-time job, you won't want too much because it's a,

00:21:48.000 --> 00:21:53.000
ask any parent here and they'll tell you how painful and long it is.

00:21:53.000 --> 00:21:57.000
They don't leave your home till they are, I left home when I was 28.

00:22:03.000 --> 00:22:04.000
Pardon?

00:22:05.000 --> 00:22:06.000
Yeah.

00:22:12.000 --> 00:22:13.000
Yeah.

00:22:14.000 --> 00:22:19.000
But the intent is that the sons begin to perpetuate who the Father is.

00:22:23.000 --> 00:22:27.000
Here's a cool thing about pastoring versus fathering.

00:22:27.000 --> 00:22:29.000
And I'm not talking about me.

00:22:29.000 --> 00:22:34.000
I'm talking about us thinking of, oh, my job is to pastor others or to shepherd others.

00:22:34.000 --> 00:22:37.000
Guys, fathering only produces remnants.

00:22:37.000 --> 00:22:40.000
Pastoring can produce large churches.

00:22:40.000 --> 00:22:42.000
Fathering produces remnants.

00:22:42.000 --> 00:22:49.000
As in, the strange thing with God is, God always starts with a small group of quality disciples.

00:22:49.000 --> 00:22:51.000
Or lacking quality.

00:22:51.000 --> 00:22:53.000
But he starts with a small group.

00:22:53.000 --> 00:22:57.000
Remnants represent what God wants everybody to be.

00:22:57.000 --> 00:23:01.000
Remnants represent what God wants everybody to be.

00:23:01.000 --> 00:23:05.000
Remnants represent what God wants everybody to be.

00:23:05.000 --> 00:23:13.000
God puts something into remnants and then he wants to release it to everyone at some stage

00:23:13.000 --> 00:23:16.000
when the remnant has modeled it properly.

00:23:16.000 --> 00:23:19.000
Now that he has a prototype, he'll say, aha, now we can go.

00:23:19.000 --> 00:23:21.000
That's what he did with Adam and Eve.

00:23:21.000 --> 00:23:22.000
Listen, I'll start with you.

00:23:22.000 --> 00:23:23.000
I'll walk with you.

00:23:23.000 --> 00:23:24.000
I'll teach you.

00:23:24.000 --> 00:23:25.000
I'll come every evening.

00:23:25.000 --> 00:23:27.000
You will spend time with me.

00:23:27.000 --> 00:23:28.000
I'll tell you things.

00:23:28.000 --> 00:23:30.000
And that began the process.

00:23:30.000 --> 00:23:33.000
Then he goes to Jacob and his family, twelve.

00:23:33.000 --> 00:23:36.000
He says, I want to start a nation through you.

00:23:36.000 --> 00:23:41.000
And the twelve become seventy and the seventy become a million.

00:23:43.000 --> 00:23:45.000
He always starts with a remnant.

00:23:45.000 --> 00:23:47.000
Fathering produces remnant.

00:23:47.000 --> 00:23:50.000
Because you can only handle so many at a time, guys.

00:23:52.000 --> 00:23:56.000
This is why a church that is dependent on one person will collapse.

00:23:58.000 --> 00:24:03.000
This is why it is critical that fathers perpetuate themselves in their sons

00:24:03.000 --> 00:24:07.000
who now step into the place of their fathers and it begins to spread.

00:24:08.000 --> 00:24:13.000
This is why what may have been my initial responsibility is no longer my responsibility.

00:24:13.000 --> 00:24:16.000
It is yours and you now perpetuate it.

00:24:16.000 --> 00:24:18.000
And you now perpetuate it.

00:24:28.000 --> 00:24:31.000
God warns everybody but he never starts with everybody.

00:24:31.000 --> 00:24:33.000
I'm telling you stuff that's in the Bible.

00:24:33.000 --> 00:24:36.000
God warns everybody but he never starts with everybody.

00:24:36.000 --> 00:24:38.000
He starts with a remnant.

00:24:39.000 --> 00:24:40.000
He started with the twelve.

00:24:40.000 --> 00:24:42.000
Look what's happened, man.

00:24:42.000 --> 00:24:45.000
God warns everybody but he never starts with everybody.

00:24:46.000 --> 00:24:49.000
And so if you isolate yourself, you miss out on what the father does.

00:25:01.000 --> 00:25:07.000
One of the things the father enjoys doing is he enjoys increasing your capacity.

00:25:07.000 --> 00:25:09.000
He increases my capacity.

00:25:09.000 --> 00:25:11.000
He increases your capacity.

00:25:11.000 --> 00:25:14.000
So when you start behaving like the father with others,

00:25:14.000 --> 00:25:18.000
you must aim not at giving them what you have,

00:25:18.000 --> 00:25:21.000
but you must aim at increasing their capacity

00:25:21.000 --> 00:25:24.000
because they are going to have to handle much more than you are handling.

00:25:26.000 --> 00:25:28.000
So the way I would put it is,

00:25:29.000 --> 00:25:41.000
as a father, you must increase the capacity to handle inheritance.

00:25:47.000 --> 00:25:53.000
You must increase a person's capacity to handle their inheritance.

00:25:54.000 --> 00:25:58.000
Just imagine if Elijah hadn't done that for Elisha.

00:26:02.000 --> 00:26:04.000
All these noises are coming from the digital board.

00:26:08.000 --> 00:26:11.000
We need to fix that transformer in the back.

00:26:15.000 --> 00:26:18.000
Someone who doesn't know any of this will suddenly believe it

00:26:18.000 --> 00:26:20.000
because they actually see these fingers.

00:26:20.000 --> 00:26:21.000
Put those fingers down.

00:26:21.000 --> 00:26:23.000
People will think you are real.

00:26:23.000 --> 00:26:25.000
I'm just kidding, Sheldon.

00:26:25.000 --> 00:26:27.000
I owe you one after this.

00:26:27.000 --> 00:26:29.000
This is actually fun.

00:26:29.000 --> 00:26:34.000
By the way, if anyone wants to volunteer for next Sunday, just let me know.

00:26:34.000 --> 00:26:35.000
Any takers?

00:26:35.000 --> 00:26:38.000
No, Sheldon, I think they like you.

00:26:43.000 --> 00:26:45.000
Is this a self-erasing thingy?

00:26:45.000 --> 00:26:46.000
No?

00:26:46.000 --> 00:26:49.000
Sorry, we shouldn't get carried away with this.

00:26:49.000 --> 00:26:52.000
There are more important things happening up front.

00:27:03.000 --> 00:27:06.000
As a father, you must increase a person's capacity for inheritance.

00:27:06.000 --> 00:27:08.000
What if Elijah hadn't treated Elisha well?

00:27:08.000 --> 00:27:10.000
How would he have handled twice of everything?

00:27:10.000 --> 00:27:12.000
He asked for a double portion.

00:27:12.000 --> 00:27:14.000
Elijah was doubtful whether the guy could handle it.

00:27:14.000 --> 00:27:16.000
He said, it's not mine to give.

00:27:16.000 --> 00:27:18.000
If God thinks so, he'll give it to you.

00:27:18.000 --> 00:27:22.000
The only way you'll know that God thinks so is if you see me being taken away.

00:27:22.000 --> 00:27:28.000
He had prepared that guy out of the 52 prophets that followed Elijah that day,

00:27:28.000 --> 00:27:32.000
from Jericho to Gilgal to Bethel to the Jordan.

00:27:32.000 --> 00:27:35.000
There was only one man who kept following, kept following, kept following

00:27:35.000 --> 00:27:40.000
because in him was a capacity to now receive everything that Elijah had.

00:27:40.000 --> 00:27:43.000
Only he went and asked not for what Elijah had.

00:27:43.000 --> 00:27:46.000
He said, I want twice what you have.

00:27:46.000 --> 00:27:48.000
Elijah is doubtful whether the guy has it.

00:27:48.000 --> 00:27:56.000
What if you and I began to run in a way where the intent is I will increase your capacity

00:27:56.000 --> 00:28:01.000
so that when your turn comes, you will be ready to handle your inheritance?

00:28:01.000 --> 00:28:04.000
Because your inheritance will not be what I have.

00:28:04.000 --> 00:28:07.000
It will be what I have plus whatever God gives you.

00:28:07.000 --> 00:28:14.000
Sometimes the only way to increase capacity is to stretch people and put them in danger.

00:28:14.000 --> 00:28:17.000
Not real danger, what they think is danger.

00:28:26.000 --> 00:28:29.000
I remember the first time my dad allowed me to step out of the train,

00:28:29.000 --> 00:28:34.000
onto the platform and brush my teeth with him because in India you can do that.

00:28:34.000 --> 00:28:38.000
It's a long story, but basically what you can do is you can step out of the platform

00:28:38.000 --> 00:28:41.000
and you can start brushing your teeth while the train is parked at the platform

00:28:41.000 --> 00:28:45.000
and then my mom was really scared of what will happen next

00:28:45.000 --> 00:28:48.000
because my dad's intent was when this train starts moving,

00:28:48.000 --> 00:28:53.000
I will help you jump into the train and it will be like this rite of passage.

00:28:53.000 --> 00:28:59.000
I'm all tensed, I've brushed my teeth, I've put the toothbrush in my pocket and I'm waiting

00:28:59.000 --> 00:29:01.000
because this is the moment when you become a man.

00:29:01.000 --> 00:29:05.000
Then finally you hear the go, because there were steam engines those days,

00:29:05.000 --> 00:29:07.000
you don't know what that is.

00:29:07.000 --> 00:29:08.000
That was him again.

00:29:08.000 --> 00:29:12.000
Then what happens is the train starts moving and my dad had,

00:29:12.000 --> 00:29:17.000
and I'm like adrenaline rushing through me because if you don't get in then the train is gone

00:29:17.000 --> 00:29:25.000
and then you start singing, if you miss the train I'm on, you will know that I am gone.

00:29:25.000 --> 00:29:31.000
No, so there's this tension building up and suddenly my dad will come and say,

00:29:31.000 --> 00:29:36.000
and then the train would be moving and you would grab both the things

00:29:36.000 --> 00:29:41.000
and you would step into it and you would feel like you were a man.

00:29:41.000 --> 00:29:46.000
All the danger, all the tension was in here, but in my dad's eyes it was,

00:29:46.000 --> 00:29:48.000
no son, don't worry, I got your back.

00:29:48.000 --> 00:29:51.000
And he would make sure that as I stepped in he was right there,

00:29:51.000 --> 00:29:53.000
there was no way I could fall.

00:29:53.000 --> 00:29:56.000
And my mom would be screaming, saying what's wrong with you?

00:29:56.000 --> 00:29:58.000
And then spit out of the window.

00:29:58.000 --> 00:30:01.000
Thank God my mom doesn't follow me on live stream.

00:30:01.000 --> 00:30:09.000
So you can only stretch a person's capacity for inheritance by putting them in a place

00:30:09.000 --> 00:30:13.000
where they are actually stretched and that is another part of fatherhood.

00:30:13.000 --> 00:30:17.000
So I'm going to go back to the train and I'm going to go back to the train.

00:30:17.000 --> 00:30:20.000
I'm going to go back to the train and I'm going to go back to the train.

00:30:21.000 --> 00:30:28.000
And that is another part of fathering that most people will not attempt

00:30:28.000 --> 00:30:32.000
because the reaction or the response back is not pleasant.

00:30:32.000 --> 00:30:35.000
And if it's not pleasant, try it again later.

00:30:35.000 --> 00:30:38.000
Any questions?

00:30:38.000 --> 00:30:44.000
Because if I don't and if you don't increase a person's capacity for inheritance,

00:30:44.000 --> 00:30:48.000
they will only know how to handle what you handle now.

00:30:48.000 --> 00:30:51.000
But the years ahead are far greater. It will break them.

00:30:51.000 --> 00:30:56.000
Guys, it broke Solomon. It broke Solomon.

00:30:56.000 --> 00:30:59.000
David gave him everything.

00:30:59.000 --> 00:31:02.000
He prepared the nuts and the bolts and the timber

00:31:02.000 --> 00:31:05.000
and he got everything ready for the building of the temple.

00:31:05.000 --> 00:31:08.000
But what he forgot was to build his son.

00:31:08.000 --> 00:31:11.000
His son got everything that David had.

00:31:11.000 --> 00:31:14.000
He had the ability to handle what the father gave him.

00:31:14.000 --> 00:31:17.000
He did not have the ability to handle what the father gave him.

00:31:17.000 --> 00:31:22.000
He did not have the ability to handle what was awaiting him later after his father had died.

00:31:22.000 --> 00:31:26.000
And it broke that man because he could not handle his inheritance.

00:31:37.000 --> 00:31:40.000
Jesus prepared inheritors.

00:31:40.000 --> 00:31:43.000
Jesus prepared inheritors.

00:31:43.000 --> 00:31:45.000
We call them disciples. We call them apostles.

00:31:45.000 --> 00:31:48.000
Jesus prepared inheritors who could invest what he gave them

00:31:48.000 --> 00:31:53.000
and then produce such a momentum after he left that a greater harvest happened.

00:31:53.000 --> 00:31:56.000
Jesus prepared inheritors.

00:31:56.000 --> 00:31:59.000
This is why you hear stuff like,

00:31:59.000 --> 00:32:06.000
Master, but we have only two fish and two loaves and five fish.

00:32:06.000 --> 00:32:09.000
What do we do? I don't know. You feed them.

00:32:09.000 --> 00:32:14.000
Five thousand people. You feed them.

00:32:14.000 --> 00:32:20.000
Different situations he puts them in.

00:32:20.000 --> 00:32:22.000
I want you to go and when you go there,

00:32:22.000 --> 00:32:24.000
there will be a donkey tied outside a man's house

00:32:24.000 --> 00:32:27.000
and if the man comes and asks you why you are taking the donkey,

00:32:27.000 --> 00:32:33.000
just tell him that the master has need for them.

00:32:33.000 --> 00:32:36.000
And he sends them off.

00:32:36.000 --> 00:32:39.000
Then he decides, okay, let's send you out two by two

00:32:39.000 --> 00:32:46.000
to preach, to heal, to cleanse lepers, to raise the dead, to heal the sick.

00:32:46.000 --> 00:32:49.000
Go. He doesn't go with them.

00:32:49.000 --> 00:32:51.000
But they come back and they come back rejoicing,

00:32:51.000 --> 00:32:53.000
saying demons left when we spoke.

00:32:53.000 --> 00:32:57.000
You can't imagine the joy that Jesus would have felt

00:32:57.000 --> 00:33:00.000
because the same joy that the father had over Jesus when he said,

00:33:00.000 --> 00:33:03.000
this is my son who is precious in my sight, beloved in my sight.

00:33:03.000 --> 00:33:06.000
Listen to him. The same Jesus is now saying,

00:33:06.000 --> 00:33:09.000
heaven was rejoicing and Satan fell like lightning.

00:33:09.000 --> 00:33:11.000
But do not be caught up that you cast out demons,

00:33:11.000 --> 00:33:13.000
but your names are written in the book of life.

00:33:13.000 --> 00:33:15.000
And he is thrilled at his disciples,

00:33:15.000 --> 00:33:17.000
knowing that one of them will betray him

00:33:17.000 --> 00:33:22.000
and that all of them will run away. But he is thrilled.

00:33:22.000 --> 00:33:30.000
Because he formed inheritors.

00:33:30.000 --> 00:33:32.000
The process of formation may be scary,

00:33:32.000 --> 00:33:35.000
but the intent is, can I create inheritors?

00:33:35.000 --> 00:33:37.000
Because I'm going to leave soon.

00:33:37.000 --> 00:33:41.000
When I leave soon, I'm speaking about Jesus now, not me.

00:33:41.000 --> 00:33:47.000
Because Derek and Don may come back saying,

00:33:47.000 --> 00:33:49.000
okay, I want to be the next pastor.

00:33:49.000 --> 00:33:51.000
So Derek, Don, stay there.

00:33:51.000 --> 00:34:01.000
The thing is, Jesus prepared inheritors who could invest what he gave them

00:34:02.000 --> 00:34:06.000
to produce a momentum that would end up in a greater harvest.

00:34:06.000 --> 00:34:10.000
So much so that Jesus goes as far as to say in John 14-12,

00:34:10.000 --> 00:34:14.000
that listen, you guys need to know that you will do greater work than I have done

00:34:14.000 --> 00:34:18.000
because I'm going to the Father.

00:34:18.000 --> 00:34:25.000
Sorry? Jesus prepared inheritors who could invest what he gave them

00:34:25.000 --> 00:34:29.000
to produce a momentum that would end up in a greater harvest.

00:34:29.000 --> 00:34:34.000
Jesus prepared inheritors who could invest what he gave them

00:34:34.000 --> 00:34:37.000
to produce a momentum that would result in a greater harvest

00:34:37.000 --> 00:34:39.000
than he himself accomplished.

00:34:39.000 --> 00:34:41.000
We're talking about the Son of God.

00:34:41.000 --> 00:34:45.000
Nutsy.

00:34:45.000 --> 00:34:54.000
And when you work as fathers, know that each of you will have different traits

00:34:54.000 --> 00:34:58.000
that nobody else can give to someone in your charge than you.

00:34:58.000 --> 00:35:00.000
Some of you will be wealth creators.

00:35:00.000 --> 00:35:04.000
Anything you touch turns to gold.

00:35:04.000 --> 00:35:10.000
The ones that God places in your lives will inherit that and more.

00:35:10.000 --> 00:35:12.000
Some of you will know how to war spiritually.

00:35:12.000 --> 00:35:17.000
Why? Because the one that you were raised under knows how to war spiritually.

00:35:17.000 --> 00:35:23.000
Some of you will have the ability to plumb the wisdom of God.

00:35:23.000 --> 00:35:29.000
And so you end up being some of the wisest people who live on earth.

00:35:29.000 --> 00:35:35.000
Like the tribes of Jacob, you find that each tribe has a trait,

00:35:35.000 --> 00:35:40.000
and that trait is strongly expressed in the clan for the rest of eternity.

00:35:40.000 --> 00:35:43.000
Judah, praise, forefront, warrior.

00:35:43.000 --> 00:35:45.000
Benjamin, ravenous wolf.

00:35:45.000 --> 00:35:49.000
Naftali, brimming with wealth.

00:35:49.000 --> 00:35:58.000
Joseph, fruitful bow that spreads over fences and walls.

00:36:05.000 --> 00:36:08.000
And Jesus said you will do greater works than this.

00:36:08.000 --> 00:36:11.000
It was not Jesus saying, okay, I'm going to do this.

00:36:11.000 --> 00:36:14.000
Jesus said you will do greater works than this.

00:36:14.000 --> 00:36:17.000
It was not Jesus saying, okay, so I'm gone now, you can continue.

00:36:17.000 --> 00:36:18.000
You know what he was saying?

00:36:18.000 --> 00:36:21.000
You'll do greater works than this because I'm going to the Father who is greater than me,

00:36:21.000 --> 00:36:23.000
and I'll continue to do these works through you.

00:36:23.000 --> 00:36:30.000
But I put enough on you to cause this momentum to really bring in a great harvest.

00:36:30.000 --> 00:36:38.000
Guys, if we do this, in a couple of generations, we can actually affect nations.

00:36:38.000 --> 00:36:42.000
And it sounds like such a hollow claim, Jacob.

00:36:42.000 --> 00:36:45.000
You can just say it because you won't be here in a couple of generations.

00:36:45.000 --> 00:36:50.000
You'll probably be dead in the next 50 years.

00:36:50.000 --> 00:36:58.000
The thing is, you've got to look into February 2005, 2006.

00:36:58.000 --> 00:37:05.000
Who would have ever thought that this motley crew would be where we are today?

00:37:05.000 --> 00:37:07.000
Who would have ever thought?

00:37:07.000 --> 00:37:12.000
Who would have ever thought that we'd have an influence in nations?

00:37:12.000 --> 00:37:13.000
Not me.

00:37:13.000 --> 00:37:16.000
Even though I dreamt of it, never thought it would be possible,

00:37:16.000 --> 00:37:19.000
which is why I read out Philippians 1, 3 to 6.

00:37:19.000 --> 00:37:24.000
I thank God every day for each of you.

00:37:24.000 --> 00:37:26.000
I don't thank God every day for each of you.

00:37:26.000 --> 00:37:27.000
That's Paul's words.

00:37:27.000 --> 00:37:30.000
What I mean is I'm super thankful.

00:37:30.000 --> 00:37:36.000
Yeah.

00:37:36.000 --> 00:37:44.000
Because this itself is impossible.

00:37:44.000 --> 00:37:47.000
Let's look at John 14.

00:37:47.000 --> 00:37:49.000
Look at a few verses and then we'll end.

00:37:49.000 --> 00:37:50.000
John 14.

00:37:50.000 --> 00:37:53.000
Sheldon, you're doing okay?

00:37:53.000 --> 00:37:56.000
You want a replacement?

00:37:56.000 --> 00:38:00.000
You're okay, huh?

00:38:00.000 --> 00:38:05.000
John 14.

00:38:05.000 --> 00:38:09.000
I'm sorry.

00:38:09.000 --> 00:38:14.000
Philipp said, Master, I'm reading from the message at times.

00:38:14.000 --> 00:38:18.000
Philipp said, Master, show us the Father, then we'll be content.

00:38:18.000 --> 00:38:20.000
So here's my question to you guys.

00:38:20.000 --> 00:38:25.000
What if someone said to you, what if someone came and said to you,

00:38:25.000 --> 00:38:28.000
hey Diana, show me the Father and I'll be content?

00:38:28.000 --> 00:38:33.000
What if someone said to you, Manoj, show me the Father and I'll be content?

00:38:33.000 --> 00:38:36.000
What would your reply be?

00:38:36.000 --> 00:38:40.000
I just hope that one day we'll be able to reply like this.

00:38:40.000 --> 00:38:43.000
I can't reply like this, but I long for it.

00:38:43.000 --> 00:38:46.000
I was reading it and I was thinking to myself, my God, Father, please, please, please.

00:38:46.000 --> 00:38:52.000
One day, not in the distant future where my feet are in the grave while I'm going up.

00:38:52.000 --> 00:38:57.000
Can I do it in the next little while where if someone comes and says to me,

00:38:57.000 --> 00:39:01.000
hey Jacob, show us the Father and then we'll be content?

00:39:01.000 --> 00:39:10.300
And my reply would be, believe me, I'm in the Father and the Father is in me.

00:39:10.300 --> 00:39:13.580
This is not a pipe dream, I really want this to happen for us.

00:39:13.580 --> 00:39:15.660
Believe me, I'm in the Father and the Father is in me.

00:39:15.660 --> 00:39:19.220
That's not borrowing a Jesus statement, that is the truth.

00:39:19.220 --> 00:39:24.620
If you read John 17 verse 21, if you read Colossians 1, 27, it says the Father is in

00:39:24.620 --> 00:39:26.260
me and I'm in the Father.

00:39:26.260 --> 00:39:27.560
It already says that.

00:39:27.560 --> 00:39:30.760
I'm not plagiarizing a Jesus phrase.

00:39:30.780 --> 00:39:33.520
I'm telling you what is actually true.

00:39:33.520 --> 00:39:39.520
Colossians 1, 27, the hope of glory Christ in me and John 17, 21, Father, just as I'm

00:39:39.520 --> 00:39:44.760
in you and you are in me, can they also be in me so that they are in you?

00:39:44.760 --> 00:39:47.040
This is the true statement.

00:39:47.040 --> 00:39:54.220
What if one day this idea of perpetuating the Father and reflecting him through us gets

00:39:54.220 --> 00:40:01.820
to a point where we can say that believe me, I'm in the Father and the Father is in me.

00:40:01.820 --> 00:40:06.300
And then Philip asks the question and Jesus goes further, what if you could say this?

00:40:06.300 --> 00:40:08.340
Just imagine this, this is mind blowing.

00:40:08.340 --> 00:40:11.420
Would you be able to say, to see me is to see the Father.

00:40:11.420 --> 00:40:15.920
If you really knew me, you would know the Father as well.

00:40:15.920 --> 00:40:17.900
To see me is to see the Father.

00:40:17.900 --> 00:40:21.420
If you really knew me, you would know the Father as well.

00:40:21.420 --> 00:40:25.420
It's preposterous to even think of this but absolutely possible.

00:40:28.420 --> 00:40:30.420
Any questions, any comments?

00:40:30.420 --> 00:40:31.420
Any?

00:40:31.420 --> 00:40:38.420
The problem with masks is I don't know whether you're disbelieving, incredulous, happy, believing.

00:40:42.420 --> 00:40:47.420
We should have these kind of messages out there so you don't have to wear masks.

00:40:51.420 --> 00:40:52.420
Any questions?

00:40:56.420 --> 00:40:59.420
Would I be able to say, to see me is to see the Father.

00:40:59.420 --> 00:41:02.420
If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well.

00:41:02.420 --> 00:41:05.420
So how can you ask, where is the Father?

00:41:05.420 --> 00:41:09.420
What a ridiculous statement to make as humans.

00:41:09.420 --> 00:41:13.420
But what if there are areas in your life where you can do this?

00:41:13.420 --> 00:41:16.420
John 12, 44, 45.

00:41:16.420 --> 00:41:18.420
John 12, 44, 45.

00:41:21.420 --> 00:41:23.420
Then Jesus cried out,

00:41:23.420 --> 00:41:26.420
When a man believes in Me, he does not believe in Me only,

00:41:26.420 --> 00:41:27.420
but in the one who sent Me.

00:41:27.420 --> 00:41:29.420
When he looks at Me, he sees the one who sent Me.

00:41:29.420 --> 00:41:33.420
My God, man, when he looks at Me, he sees the one who sent Me.

00:41:33.420 --> 00:41:36.420
When a man believes in Me, he does not just believe in Me,

00:41:36.420 --> 00:41:38.420
but he believes in the one who sent Me.

00:41:38.420 --> 00:41:42.420
When he looks at Me, he does not just see Me, he sees the one who sent Me.

00:41:42.420 --> 00:41:53.100
Come on man.

00:41:53.100 --> 00:42:00.700
Please don't put this in the, please don't, this disease called futurism postpones every

00:42:00.700 --> 00:42:04.580
statement like this into the future saying one day.

00:42:04.580 --> 00:42:05.580
No.

00:42:05.580 --> 00:42:10.540
Today is the day of the suns.

00:42:10.540 --> 00:42:12.580
Not one day.

00:42:12.580 --> 00:42:16.540
You're okay, Sheldon?

00:42:16.540 --> 00:42:18.860
Do you want to take a break?

00:42:18.860 --> 00:42:21.980
Not one day.

00:42:21.980 --> 00:42:22.980
I want this.

00:42:22.980 --> 00:42:24.580
I want this.

00:42:24.580 --> 00:42:28.500
Not just for me because it's pointless when one person does it.

00:42:28.500 --> 00:42:32.340
When people do it.

00:42:32.340 --> 00:42:36.260
There was something about the early church which had all kinds of problems, all kinds

00:42:36.260 --> 00:42:37.260
of sins.

00:42:37.420 --> 00:42:41.340
There was something about them that was distinctive in that two things happened to them.

00:42:41.340 --> 00:42:47.100
One people joined them by the thousands, two people persecuted them.

00:42:47.100 --> 00:42:51.060
There was something distinctive about them.

00:42:51.060 --> 00:42:55.220
It was that they were different from the normal.

00:42:55.220 --> 00:43:01.820
Jesus was evident.

00:43:01.820 --> 00:43:05.020
One more statement and we can close.

00:43:05.060 --> 00:43:06.940
John 14 verse 10.

00:43:06.940 --> 00:43:11.380
Am I good on batteries?

00:43:11.380 --> 00:43:18.260
John 14 10.

00:43:18.260 --> 00:43:22.100
The first part was about character, now we move to verse 10.

00:43:22.100 --> 00:43:28.220
And verse 10 says, don't you believe that I am in the Father and that the Father is

00:43:28.220 --> 00:43:29.220
in me?

00:43:29.220 --> 00:43:32.980
The words I say to you are not just my own, rather it's the Father living in me who is

00:43:32.980 --> 00:43:33.980
doing this work.

00:43:34.220 --> 00:43:36.980
Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me.

00:43:36.980 --> 00:43:40.420
Or at least believe on the evidence of these miracles themselves.

00:43:40.420 --> 00:43:42.220
So here's the other catch now.

00:43:42.220 --> 00:43:48.740
If we say that this is the one we are perpetuating, the Father, then here's what is being said.

00:43:48.740 --> 00:43:51.500
Surely you believe that I am the Father and the Father is in me.

00:43:51.500 --> 00:43:52.500
And this is true.

00:43:52.500 --> 00:43:56.020
1 Corinthians 6, 17 says, we become one with the Spirit of God.

00:43:56.020 --> 00:44:00.820
Romans 8, 15 and 16 says, he has given us his Spirit that allows us to cry out Father

00:44:00.860 --> 00:44:04.860
and that the Father lives in us and we have become one with him.

00:44:04.860 --> 00:44:10.620
So here's the question then.

00:44:10.620 --> 00:44:15.940
Can people believe that the Father is in me and I in the Father because they see the works

00:44:15.940 --> 00:44:17.900
that I do?

00:44:17.900 --> 00:44:24.220
And the answer is at present, no.

00:44:24.220 --> 00:44:25.380
What works are we talking about?

00:44:25.380 --> 00:44:28.260
We're not talking about soup and sandwich.

00:44:28.260 --> 00:44:33.180
We're talking about signs, miracles and wonders.

00:44:33.180 --> 00:44:39.260
And so the question is, so this is a statement I'm making.

00:44:39.260 --> 00:44:44.260
If people can't believe that the Father and you are one, can they believe what they see?

00:44:44.260 --> 00:44:49.180
Can they believe by the works you do?

00:44:49.180 --> 00:44:53.300
Go to John chapter 10, verse 37 and 38.

00:44:53.300 --> 00:44:57.820
I'm just showing us where we horribly fall short right now.

00:44:57.860 --> 00:45:01.860
John chapter 10, verse 37 and 38.

00:45:01.860 --> 00:45:04.060
Look at the statement Jesus is making.

00:45:04.060 --> 00:45:10.100
It's like almost a provocative, challenging statement.

00:45:10.100 --> 00:45:15.340
Do not believe me unless I do what my Father does.

00:45:15.340 --> 00:45:19.820
Do not believe me, he's saying.

00:45:19.820 --> 00:45:25.180
Do not believe me unless I do what my Father does.

00:45:25.180 --> 00:45:29.420
But if I do it, even though you do not believe me, believe the miracles that you may know

00:45:29.420 --> 00:45:32.460
and understand that the Father is in me and I in the Father.

00:45:32.460 --> 00:45:37.980
Guys, one of the evidences of the Father in you and you in the Father is that there should

00:45:37.980 --> 00:45:41.820
be works and we don't have it.

00:45:41.820 --> 00:45:44.740
But we can't do nothing about it.

00:45:44.740 --> 00:45:49.300
Hexed begin to take a couple of steps that Jesus mentions here so that he can begin this

00:45:49.300 --> 00:45:50.580
process.

00:45:50.580 --> 00:46:08.180
But he literally says, you don't need to believe in me if I don't do any works.

00:46:08.180 --> 00:46:14.860
Any questions, any thoughts?

00:46:14.860 --> 00:46:16.420
Jesus has gone to the Father.

00:46:16.420 --> 00:46:19.500
He's given me the same work to do that he has been doing.

00:46:19.540 --> 00:46:23.380
Let me say that slowly, just pay attention to another five minutes, we should be done.

00:46:23.380 --> 00:46:26.820
Jesus has gone to the Father.

00:46:26.820 --> 00:46:31.020
He has given me the work that he was doing to finish.

00:46:31.020 --> 00:46:32.020
Please understand that.

00:46:32.020 --> 00:46:34.340
That he has given us the work that he could have finished.

00:46:34.340 --> 00:46:37.360
He could have finished everything in three and a half years, but he decided not to.

00:46:37.360 --> 00:46:39.480
He has left work for us to do.

00:46:39.480 --> 00:46:42.620
This is your main work.

00:46:42.620 --> 00:46:44.500
Jesus has gone to the Father.

00:46:44.500 --> 00:46:51.700
He has given me the same work to do that he had been doing.

00:46:51.700 --> 00:46:56.980
And in chapter 14, verse 12, he tells me the two things that I require to be able to do

00:46:56.980 --> 00:46:57.980
the same things.

00:46:57.980 --> 00:47:02.940
Chapter 14, verse 12.

00:47:02.940 --> 00:47:03.940
I tell you the truth.

00:47:03.940 --> 00:47:07.340
I know this sounds terribly simple, but what can we do?

00:47:07.340 --> 00:47:09.060
Jesus is simple.

00:47:09.060 --> 00:47:11.460
I tell you the truth.

00:47:11.460 --> 00:47:18.100
Anyone who has faith in me will do what I've been doing.

00:47:18.100 --> 00:47:19.700
I'm not taking anything out of context.

00:47:19.700 --> 00:47:28.820
It's one of the few messages I'm actually staying in context.

00:47:28.820 --> 00:47:31.820
I tell you the truth.

00:47:31.820 --> 00:47:35.620
Anyone who has faith in me will do what I'm doing.

00:47:36.620 --> 00:47:42.300
You can have the assurance, Jacob, that if you trust in me, you will end up doing not

00:47:42.300 --> 00:47:46.020
only what Jesus was doing, you will do even greater things.

00:47:46.020 --> 00:47:49.180
Keep reading.

00:47:49.180 --> 00:47:50.180
I tell you the truth.

00:47:50.180 --> 00:47:52.540
Anyone who has faith in me will do what I've been doing.

00:47:52.540 --> 00:48:00.220
He will do even greater things than these because I'm going to the Father.

00:48:00.220 --> 00:48:01.220
So that's the first point.

00:48:01.220 --> 00:48:03.420
If you trust him, you can do the same things.

00:48:03.420 --> 00:48:10.300
He says, don't tell people to believe you if you can't do the works the Father is doing.

00:48:10.300 --> 00:48:15.340
These are not categorical blanket statements because he says, believe my words.

00:48:15.340 --> 00:48:18.620
Then he says, if they don't believe your words, tell them to believe my works.

00:48:18.620 --> 00:48:22.860
If you don't do the works my Father does, then don't ask them to believe you.

00:48:22.860 --> 00:48:25.020
So what else do we need to do?

00:48:25.020 --> 00:48:33.900
The second thing he says is, listen, ask anything in my name.

00:48:33.900 --> 00:48:35.340
Look at verse 13.

00:48:35.340 --> 00:48:40.620
I will do whatever you ask in my name so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.

00:48:40.620 --> 00:48:41.620
So how does that work?

00:48:41.620 --> 00:48:43.540
That's the last point.

00:48:43.540 --> 00:48:47.140
You are invited to come to the Father in the name of Jesus with the promise of enjoying

00:48:47.140 --> 00:48:49.300
the same access to God that Jesus enjoys.

00:48:49.300 --> 00:48:50.500
Let me say that again.

00:48:50.500 --> 00:48:56.740
I have an invitation, a standing invitation for the rest of eternity to come to the Father

00:48:56.740 --> 00:49:03.660
in the name of Jesus Christ with the promise of enjoying the same access that Jesus presently

00:49:03.660 --> 00:49:04.660
has with God.

00:49:04.660 --> 00:49:07.820
This is so ridiculous that it's hard to believe.

00:49:07.820 --> 00:49:09.900
Let me say that one last time.

00:49:09.900 --> 00:49:15.580
I am invited and I have a standing invitation to come to the Father in the name of Jesus

00:49:16.580 --> 00:49:20.780
And then he goes on to say that listen, ask anything in my name.

00:49:20.780 --> 00:49:23.580
And so let me just write this down.

00:49:23.580 --> 00:49:26.580
What it means when he says ask anything in my name.

00:49:26.580 --> 00:49:35.580
Ask as if I am in the Father's presence.

00:49:35.580 --> 00:49:37.580
When he says ask anything in my name.

00:49:37.580 --> 00:49:46.580
Ask as if I were asking.

00:49:46.580 --> 00:49:50.580
As in Jesus is saying, ask as if I were asking.

00:49:50.580 --> 00:49:55.580
And the second statement he's trying to make in that statement is ask what I would ask.

00:50:00.580 --> 00:50:01.580
Two things.

00:50:01.580 --> 00:50:03.580
Ask as if I were asking.

00:50:03.580 --> 00:50:07.580
And Jesus never asked anything without faith or trust in his Father.

00:50:07.580 --> 00:50:09.580
And ask as if I would ask.

00:50:09.580 --> 00:50:13.580
This is why Saturday's teaching, yesterday night's teaching is so critical.

00:50:13.580 --> 00:50:18.580
If you can understand those characteristics of God, it will be very hard to ask a miss.

00:50:20.580 --> 00:50:22.580
Ask as if I were asking, Jesus is saying.

00:50:22.580 --> 00:50:25.580
Hey Jacob, ask as if I were asking.

00:50:25.580 --> 00:50:27.580
Ask what I would ask.

00:50:32.580 --> 00:50:37.580
From now on, whatever you request along the lines of who I am and what I'm doing.

00:50:37.580 --> 00:50:43.580
Whatever you ask along the lines of who I am and what I'm doing.

00:50:47.580 --> 00:50:49.580
Who I am and what I'm doing.

00:50:51.580 --> 00:50:52.580
I'll do it for you.

00:50:52.580 --> 00:50:54.580
I'll do it for you.

00:50:57.580 --> 00:50:59.580
These are the three things that are difficult to fathom.

00:50:59.580 --> 00:51:03.580
But these are the three things we're going to spend a lot of time trying to figure out.

00:51:03.580 --> 00:51:05.580
So that we can be what God wants us to be.

00:51:06.580 --> 00:51:08.580
We can show them the Father.

00:51:11.580 --> 00:51:12.580
Any questions?

00:51:14.580 --> 00:51:15.580
Let me sum that up.

00:51:15.580 --> 00:51:17.580
To ask, that clock is wrong, right?

00:51:17.580 --> 00:51:19.580
It's showing 8 o'clock.

00:51:22.580 --> 00:51:24.580
What a comfort it was all this time.

00:51:29.580 --> 00:51:31.580
John 14 13.

00:51:31.580 --> 00:51:36.580
And I will do whatever you ask in my name so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.

00:51:36.580 --> 00:51:40.580
You may ask me for anything in my name and I will do it.

00:51:40.580 --> 00:51:42.580
The Greek says the same thing.

00:51:42.580 --> 00:51:46.580
I will do whatever you ask in my name so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.

00:51:46.580 --> 00:51:49.580
You may ask me for anything in my name and I will do it.

00:51:49.580 --> 00:51:50.580
What is he saying?

00:51:50.580 --> 00:51:53.580
Hey Jacob, ask as if I were asking.

00:51:54.580 --> 00:51:58.580
Jacob, ask what I would ask.

00:51:59.580 --> 00:52:03.580
Jacob, ask based on who I am.

00:52:04.580 --> 00:52:07.580
Jacob, ask what I am doing.

00:52:08.580 --> 00:52:15.580
And if you do this, and if you ask with faith, I guarantee you I will do whatever you ask.

00:52:16.580 --> 00:52:19.580
Then you can say to people, ah you don't believe my words.

00:52:20.580 --> 00:52:21.580
Believe my works.

00:52:21.580 --> 00:52:26.580
Jesus did this with the Pharisees when they crowded around the man who he forgave.

00:52:26.580 --> 00:52:31.580
He said, oh so you think that the Son of Man does not have the right to forgive sins?

00:52:31.580 --> 00:52:32.580
I do.

00:52:32.580 --> 00:52:37.580
But just so you know that this is just not talk, I say to you, pick up your bed and walk.

00:52:37.580 --> 00:52:38.580
And he walked.

00:52:38.580 --> 00:52:39.580
Words?

00:52:39.580 --> 00:52:40.580
They didn't believe it.

00:52:40.580 --> 00:52:41.580
Works?

00:52:41.580 --> 00:52:42.580
What could they do?

00:52:43.580 --> 00:52:45.580
Once you show people works, there's only three options.

00:52:45.580 --> 00:52:46.580
Believe.

00:52:46.580 --> 00:52:47.580
Stone you.

00:52:47.580 --> 00:52:48.580
Or walk away.

00:52:50.580 --> 00:52:51.580
Those are the only three options.

00:52:54.580 --> 00:52:55.580
Any questions?

00:52:55.580 --> 00:52:56.580
Because I'm done.

00:52:57.580 --> 00:52:58.580
Any questions guys?

00:52:58.580 --> 00:53:00.580
Please ask questions.

00:53:00.580 --> 00:53:03.580
This sounds terribly simple, but what can you do?

00:53:07.580 --> 00:53:08.580
You've got to press in, eh?

00:53:08.580 --> 00:53:11.580
And suddenly it will break forth, guys.

00:53:11.580 --> 00:53:13.580
Suddenly it will break forth.

00:53:13.580 --> 00:53:14.580
Suddenly it will break forth.

00:53:16.580 --> 00:53:17.580
These are precious things.

00:53:17.580 --> 00:53:21.580
Once they start happening, if you don't have the character of God, if you don't have the

00:53:21.580 --> 00:53:26.580
ability to inherit this, it will ruin this church, destroy this church.

00:53:28.580 --> 00:53:31.580
So don't think that he's not at work.

00:53:31.580 --> 00:53:37.580
He's at work changing our character, making us absolutely unbothered about how we look.

00:53:37.580 --> 00:53:38.580
How people perceive.

00:53:38.580 --> 00:53:45.580
He's just bringing us to a place where when this begins to break, it will not affect your

00:53:45.580 --> 00:53:46.580
head.

00:53:46.580 --> 00:53:48.580
It will not go to my head.

00:53:57.580 --> 00:53:58.580
Any questions?

00:53:58.580 --> 00:53:59.580
Okay.

00:53:59.580 --> 00:54:02.580
It's 3.46.

00:54:04.580 --> 00:54:11.580
One of the things I do is sometimes I go to the book of John and I take what Jesus is

00:54:11.580 --> 00:54:13.580
saying about the Father.

00:54:13.580 --> 00:54:15.580
Hey, can I have a little more volume?

00:54:18.580 --> 00:54:23.580
I take what Jesus is saying about the Father.

00:54:23.580 --> 00:54:25.580
Hey, can I have a little more volume?

00:54:28.580 --> 00:54:32.580
I take what I'm doing with the Father, what Jesus is saying to the Father, and then I

00:54:32.580 --> 00:54:36.580
write it in my own words as if I was saying it to the Father.

00:54:36.580 --> 00:54:42.580
It really helps because it puts you in a place where Jesus, the perfect son, was and it puts

00:54:42.580 --> 00:54:45.580
you in a connection, in relationship with the Father.

00:54:45.580 --> 00:54:49.580
So I'm just reading an excerpt and then we'll put some of it on the board and just commit

00:54:49.580 --> 00:54:51.580
to the Father with regard to this.

00:54:51.580 --> 00:54:53.580
So this was something I'd written.

00:54:53.580 --> 00:54:57.580
Father, shine a light on your splendor in me.

00:54:57.580 --> 00:55:02.580
Father, shine a light on your glory or your splendor in me.

00:55:02.580 --> 00:55:09.580
As in, each of us has a glory that God has now given us as born again believers.

00:55:09.580 --> 00:55:14.580
Shine your light on the splendor, on your splendor in me.

00:55:14.580 --> 00:55:20.580
I will spell out your character in detail to the men and women that you give me.

00:55:21.580 --> 00:55:26.580
These are things that Jesus said in John, part of it from the NIV, part of it from the

00:55:26.580 --> 00:55:27.580
message.

00:55:27.580 --> 00:55:32.580
I will spell out your character in detail to the men and women that you give me.

00:55:32.580 --> 00:55:35.580
Any of us can adopt this and put it for ourselves.

00:55:35.580 --> 00:55:36.580
Next one.

00:55:36.580 --> 00:55:40.580
Lord, put my life on display for them.

00:55:40.580 --> 00:55:45.580
Everything I give them must be first hand from you.

00:55:45.580 --> 00:55:51.580
Empower me by your Spirit to teach them your word.

00:55:51.580 --> 00:56:00.580
I want to glorify you on earth by completing down to the last detail what you assigned me to do.

00:56:00.580 --> 00:56:09.580
I joyfully come to consecrate myself for the mission you have given me and for those that you have placed in my care.

00:56:09.580 --> 00:56:15.580
Everything mine is yours and everything yours, O God, is mine.

00:56:15.580 --> 00:56:17.580
It's a very hard sentence, eh?

00:56:17.580 --> 00:56:18.580
It's not easy.

00:56:18.580 --> 00:56:20.580
Everything mine is yours and everything yours is mine.

00:56:20.580 --> 00:56:23.580
Not easy.

00:56:23.580 --> 00:56:28.580
Father, you are in me and I in you.

00:56:28.580 --> 00:56:36.580
You love me the same way you love your son.

00:56:36.580 --> 00:56:45.580
As I mature, you will give the godless world evidence of your presence and oneness in me.

00:56:45.580 --> 00:56:49.580
You knew me and loved me long before I was formed.

00:56:49.580 --> 00:56:54.580
Righteous father, the world hasn't known you, but I have known you.

00:56:54.580 --> 00:57:04.580
I so want to make your very being known to them, who you are and how you do, so that your life and love towards me might become something they experience.

00:57:04.580 --> 00:57:06.580
All this is from John 17.

00:57:06.580 --> 00:57:13.580
Everything I do and say must be a unique father-son operation, coming out of father and son intimacies and knowledge.

00:57:13.580 --> 00:57:19.580
No one knows me the way you do, Father, and I want to know you, Father, the way Jesus does.

00:57:19.580 --> 00:57:21.580
And I will not keep it to myself.

00:57:21.580 --> 00:57:26.580
I'm ready to go over it line by line with anyone willing to listen, walk, work and learn.

00:57:26.580 --> 00:57:27.580
Matthew 11, 26.

00:57:27.580 --> 00:57:30.580
I can't independently do a thing.

00:57:30.580 --> 00:57:32.580
I can only do what I see you doing, Father.

00:57:32.580 --> 00:57:34.580
What you do, I will do also.

00:57:34.580 --> 00:57:40.580
Father, you love me, your son, and you include me in everything you're doing around me.

00:57:40.580 --> 00:57:43.580
And I haven't seen the half of it yet.

00:57:43.580 --> 00:57:46.580
I align myself with you, Father, and the voice of your son.

00:57:46.580 --> 00:57:49.580
I can't do a solitary thing on my own.

00:57:49.580 --> 00:57:51.580
I listen, then I decide.

00:57:51.580 --> 00:57:57.580
I can trust my decision if I'm not out to get my own way, but only to carry out your orders.

00:57:58.580 --> 00:58:02.580
I won't, and I don't want to speak words on my own authority and make them up.

00:58:02.580 --> 00:58:10.580
Rather, it will be you, Father, who will craft each word so that it may become an act or an event or work that reveals your presence.

00:58:10.580 --> 00:58:15.580
Then they will see the words, believe the words, and see the doer, you.

00:58:15.580 --> 00:58:19.580
They will recognize that you are in me and I am in you.

00:58:19.580 --> 00:58:23.580
Unless I'm dead to the world, I will not be anything but a grain of wheat.

00:58:23.580 --> 00:58:29.580
But if I am dead and buried to the world, I will sprout and reproduce your life many times over.

00:58:29.580 --> 00:58:34.580
I must let go of my life, recklessly abandoning myself into your love.

00:58:34.580 --> 00:58:42.580
Oh, how I want to participate in your life, Father, here on earth, while turning my back on the world.

00:58:42.580 --> 00:58:48.580
These are all Jesus' words that you now make yours.

00:58:48.580 --> 00:58:52.580
We don't want to.

00:58:55.580 --> 00:58:58.580
We must become like him, period.

00:58:58.580 --> 00:59:07.580
So look at this, these verses on the board, and let's in our own way dedicate ourselves to this.

00:59:12.580 --> 00:59:14.580
It's only on one side.

00:59:18.580 --> 00:59:34.580
Hey, Shailen, you can... Thanks, man. It's a big deal.

00:59:41.580 --> 00:59:43.580
Your hands are okay?

00:59:44.580 --> 00:59:47.580
We'll reward you in heaven.

00:59:50.580 --> 00:59:59.580
Okay, so guys, this is what I want us to find an ability to commit to.

01:00:01.580 --> 01:00:04.580
Father, you are in me and I in you.

01:00:04.580 --> 01:00:08.580
You knew me and loved me before I was formed.

01:00:09.580 --> 01:00:13.580
Righteous Father, the world hasn't known you, but I've known you.

01:00:13.580 --> 01:00:19.580
I so want to make your very being known to them, who you are and how you do,

01:00:19.580 --> 01:00:24.580
so that your life and love towards me might become something they experience.

01:00:24.580 --> 01:00:29.580
Everything I do and say must be a unique father-son operation,

01:00:29.580 --> 01:00:33.580
coming out of father-son intimacies and knowledge.

01:00:33.580 --> 01:00:38.580
No one knows me the way you do, Father, and I want to know you, Father, the way Jesus does,

01:00:38.580 --> 01:00:41.580
and I will not keep it to myself.

01:00:41.580 --> 01:00:48.580
I'm ready to go over it line by line with anyone willing to listen, walk, work, and learn.

01:00:48.580 --> 01:00:53.580
Can you just go over that for a couple of minutes, and then we'll end.

01:01:03.580 --> 01:01:07.580
Even pondering on this for a week would change you.

01:01:07.580 --> 01:01:12.580
Just the first line is so hard to wrap my head around or my heart around.

01:01:19.580 --> 01:01:23.580
Just pick two sentences out of this for now. Just two. It's too much.

01:01:23.580 --> 01:01:26.580
Just two.

01:01:34.580 --> 01:01:37.580
Or even half sentences.

01:01:37.580 --> 01:01:42.580
Or even half sentences, because some of the blooming sentences are so long,

01:01:42.580 --> 01:01:46.580
meaning the way I've put them.

01:01:50.580 --> 01:01:53.580
Okay, I pick my two. You pick your two.

01:01:53.580 --> 01:01:58.580
Isn't this immediately~~~

01:01:58.580 --> 01:02:02.580
nochmal

01:02:05.580 --> 01:02:09.580
Again, don't drop it like a little pink attention seed.

01:02:09.580 --> 01:02:22.580
Just a single word, twoань.

01:02:23.580 --> 01:02:52.580
Tony come up. Sheldon can you sit on the piano if your hands are okay. Emily come up.

01:02:52.580 --> 01:03:04.580
Praful if you can pull up. Good, good father. Did you pick out two sentences? Here were my two sentences.

01:03:04.580 --> 01:03:12.580
Father, you are in me and I am in you. Because I find that just mind-defying.

01:03:12.580 --> 01:03:17.580
And then the second one was, everything I do must come out of a unique father-son operation.

01:03:17.580 --> 01:03:24.580
Those are the two things that I will hold on to for the rest of this week and use it as part of my devotion every morning.

01:03:24.580 --> 01:03:30.580
These are two things that will go over. Because I want change man. I want to be like him.

01:03:30.580 --> 01:03:35.580
Everybody will benefit if we be like him. Everybody around us.

01:03:35.580 --> 01:03:40.580
In our dealings with people, our approach, our functioning, everything changes.

01:03:40.580 --> 01:03:47.580
So before we leave, what's his name, we will put it back. We can't call him Praful anymore, we call him Boss.

01:03:47.580 --> 01:03:55.580
So Boss will put it back on the screen before you leave. So even as you are leaving you can see it.

01:03:55.580 --> 01:04:07.580
So let's sing this song and let everything we have done, heard, learned and his very presence in our midst cause us to give him worship though we can't sing out loud.

01:04:07.580 --> 01:04:15.580
Another week of this and then we can start singing. Go ahead Emily.

01:04:38.580 --> 01:04:48.580
Alright you guys, let's start again. This is not the closing song. This is something we are singing to the father.

01:04:48.580 --> 01:04:55.580
This is the problem with this last song. It's like, oh finally. Then we can go home and we hope he doesn't sing it twice.

01:04:55.580 --> 01:05:02.580
So let's start again. Just go over it one more time. Okay, let's go.

01:05:08.580 --> 01:05:13.580
But we know better guys, we know better.

01:05:17.580 --> 01:05:21.580
Everyone here has heard this.

01:05:22.580 --> 01:05:26.580
He's pleased with you. He likes you.

01:05:30.580 --> 01:05:35.580
Speak it as loud as you can. Good, good father.

01:05:37.580 --> 01:05:42.580
It's who you are, it's who you are.

01:05:42.580 --> 01:05:46.580
And I am loved by you. Just like you love your son Jesus.

01:05:46.580 --> 01:05:52.580
It's who I am, it's who I am.

01:05:52.580 --> 01:06:02.580
I've sent many searching for answers, far and wide.

01:06:02.580 --> 01:06:11.580
But I know we're all searching for answers.

01:06:11.580 --> 01:06:19.580
Only you provide cause you know just what we need before we leave.

01:06:19.580 --> 01:06:22.580
Thank you, thank you, thank you.

01:06:22.580 --> 01:06:26.580
Say your word, you're a good, good father.

01:06:26.580 --> 01:06:30.580
It's who you are, it's who you are.

01:06:30.580 --> 01:06:32.580
You're a good father.

01:06:32.580 --> 01:06:36.580
It's who you are and I'm loved by you.

01:06:36.580 --> 01:06:40.580
It's who I am, it's who I am.

01:06:40.580 --> 01:06:43.580
It's who I am.

01:06:43.580 --> 01:06:47.580
You are perfect in all of your ways.

01:06:47.580 --> 01:06:49.580
Hallelujah.

01:06:49.580 --> 01:06:59.580
You are perfect in all of your ways.

01:06:59.580 --> 01:07:02.580
You are perfect.

01:07:02.580 --> 01:07:06.580
You are perfect in all of your ways.

01:07:06.580 --> 01:07:12.580
You are perfect in all of your ways.

01:07:12.580 --> 01:07:21.580
You are perfect in all of your ways to us.

01:07:21.580 --> 01:07:23.580
Undeniable.

01:07:23.580 --> 01:07:28.580
Love so undeniable.

01:07:28.580 --> 01:07:32.580
I can hardly speak.

01:07:32.580 --> 01:07:37.580
Peace so unexplainable.

01:07:37.580 --> 01:07:44.580
I can hardly think as you call me.

01:07:44.580 --> 01:07:49.580
Deeper still as you call me.

01:07:49.580 --> 01:07:54.580
Deeper still as you call me.

01:07:54.580 --> 01:07:57.580
Deeper still into love.

01:07:57.580 --> 01:08:02.580
Love, love, you're a good, good father.

01:08:02.580 --> 01:08:05.580
It's who you are.

01:08:05.580 --> 01:08:07.580
It's who you are.

01:08:07.580 --> 01:08:09.580
It's who you are.

01:08:09.580 --> 01:08:12.580
And I'm loved by you.

01:08:12.580 --> 01:08:14.580
It's who I am.

01:08:14.580 --> 01:08:16.580
It's who I am.

01:08:16.580 --> 01:08:19.580
It's who I am.

01:08:19.580 --> 01:08:22.580
You're a good, good father.

01:08:22.580 --> 01:08:24.580
It's who you are.

01:08:24.580 --> 01:08:26.580
It's who you are.

01:08:26.580 --> 01:08:29.580
It's who you are.

01:08:29.580 --> 01:08:32.580
And I'm loved by you.

01:08:32.580 --> 01:08:34.580
It's who I am.

01:08:34.580 --> 01:08:37.580
It's who I am.

01:08:37.580 --> 01:08:41.580
It's who I am.

01:08:41.580 --> 01:08:43.580
Hallelujah.

01:08:43.580 --> 01:08:45.580
Thank you.

01:08:45.580 --> 01:08:47.580
Thank you.

01:08:47.580 --> 01:08:49.580
Thank you.

01:08:49.580 --> 01:08:51.580
Thank you.

01:08:51.580 --> 01:08:53.580
Thank you.

01:08:53.580 --> 01:08:55.580
Thank you.

01:08:55.580 --> 01:08:57.580
Thank you.

01:08:57.580 --> 01:08:59.580
Thank you.

01:08:59.580 --> 01:09:02.580
Father, you are a good, good father.

01:09:02.580 --> 01:09:05.580
You've always been that way, Lord.

01:09:05.580 --> 01:09:10.580
Now let others see you in us.

01:09:10.580 --> 01:09:14.580
You in us and we in you.

01:09:14.580 --> 01:09:19.580
May others, may the world see this.

01:09:19.580 --> 01:09:22.580
And help us to be you.

01:09:22.580 --> 01:09:27.580
And make sons and daughters, oh God, sons for you.

01:09:27.580 --> 01:09:34.580
So that we prepare to have your inheritance, oh God.

01:09:34.580 --> 01:09:40.580
And train them too to have the inheritance from you.

01:09:40.580 --> 01:09:47.580
And wisdom, power, love, faith.

01:09:47.580 --> 01:09:51.580
Everything that you have is now ours.

01:09:51.580 --> 01:09:53.580
Isn't that amazing?

01:09:53.580 --> 01:09:57.580
God, now help us to live this.

01:09:57.580 --> 01:09:59.580
Help us to live this.

01:09:59.580 --> 01:10:02.580
Help us to live this, Lord.

01:10:02.580 --> 01:10:04.580
Amen.

01:10:04.580 --> 01:10:06.580
Thank you, Sue.
