thing in the church. 00:01:44.800 --> 00:01:48.720 And then he started to read from Isaiah chapter 43 verse 18, 19. 00:01:48.720 --> 00:01:49.800 Forget the former things. 00:01:49.800 --> --> 00:10:57.460 He gathered his strength and sat up on the bed. 00:10:58.060 --> 00:11:04.180 Jacob said to Joseph, God Almighty appear to me at Luz in the land of Canaan. 00:11:04.540 --> 00:11:10.780 And there he blessed me and said to me, I am going to make you fruitful and increase your numbers. 00:11:10.980 --> 00:11:14.540 I will make you a community of peoples. 00:11:14.700 --> 00:11:22.300 I will make you a community of peoples and I will give this land as an everlasting position to your descendants after you. 00:11:23.260 --> 00:11:24.340 Look at the blessing. 00:11:24.540 last verse of the 20, he says, he put Ephraim ahead of Manasseh. 00:12:02.940 --> 00:12:06.940 He put Ephraim ahead of Manasseh. 00:12:07.940 --> 00:12:11.500 So Joseph, he has two sons. 00:12:12.180 --> 00:12:16.220 The first son's name is Manasseh and the second son's name is Ephraim. 00:12:16.340 --> 00:12:17.780 OK, now follow me the story. 00:12:18.020 --> 00:12:21.340 So Manasseh, the first name means forget. 00:12:22.380 --> 00:12:27.300 Because Joseph had such a terrible life, such a difficult life. 00:12:27.300 --> 00:12:34.580 And then when he got his first son, Joseph said to Joseph, told that, OK, now God has blessed me with this boy. 00:12:34.620 --> 00:12:36.340 And then now this is a symbol. 00:12:36.340 --> 00:12:40.300 This is a symbol that I want to forget everything that I have experienced. 00:12:40.300 --> 00:12:42.020 So he named him Manasseh. 00:12:42.500 --> 00:12:47.820 And then the second son, when he got second son, he named the second son as Ephraim. 00:12:47.900 --> 00:12:50.780 And then Ephraim means, OK, now God blessed me. 00:12:50.820 --> 00:12:53.180 Now I'm fruitful in this land. 00:12:55.580 --> 00:12:59.420 When this is the last thing that Jacob did. 00:12:59.860 --> 00:13:07.700 So when Joseph brought his two sons in front of Jacob, Jacob, he rallied up his strength and then he sat on the bed. 00:13:07.860 --> 00:13:13.540 And then he started to talk to Joseph about the promise that God has given to him. 00:13:13.700 --> 00:13:16.060 And then he said, OK, now bring me your two sons. 00:13:16.060 --> 00:13:17.100 I want to bless them. 00:13:18.380 --> 00:13:28.500 When Joseph brought his two sons, he put his first son Manasseh on Jacob's right hand and then on the left side, he put Ephraim. 00:13:28.660 --> 00:26:56.920 And then how can we forget the farmer things? 00:26:56.920 --> 00:26:57.920 There is only one way. 00:26:57.920 --> 00:27:02.920 And that one way is to look at the cross, and then believe when Jacob changed his hands, 00:27:55.920 --> 00:27:57.920 because Joseph's life, that's what he experienced. 00:27:57.920 --> 00:28:02.920 He experienced such a loneliness because his family left him. 00:28:02.920 --> 00:28:05.920 He is the only one living in a different country, 00:28:05.920 --> 00:28:08.920 and then somehow God brought him to the place where he has called. 00:28:08.920 --> 00:28:14.920 And then he named his first son, saying, I'm going to forget everything. 00:28:14.920 --> 00:28:18.920 That is true. I tried to talk to him. 00:31:15.920 --> 00:31:17.920 I said, hey, what's your name? 00:31:17.920 --> 00:31:21.920 And he was so not interested in me, in talking to me. 00:31:21.920 --> 00:31:23.920 So he didn't even say hi. 00:31:23.920 --> 00:31:28.920 But I was like, I went to him and then I said, hey, I'm Jeevan, by the way. 00:31:28.920 --> 00:31:31.920 I have a friend from Malawi in our church. 00:31:31.920 --> 00:31:33.920 Then he was like, oh. 00:31:33.920 --> 00:31:36.920 Then I said, my name is Jeevan. What's your name? 00:31:36.920 --> 00:31:41.920 He said, I'm Wealth. 00:31:41.920 --> 00:31:43.920 Wealth. 00:31:43.920 --> 00:31:46.920 Yeah. I was surprised. I was shocked. 00:31:46.920 --> 00:31:49.920 I asked him, how do you spell your name? 00:31:49.920 --> 00:31:54.920 He said, how do you normally spell wealth? 00:31:54.920 --> 00:31:58.920 I said, is it W-E-A-L-T-H-A? The food is so cold. 00:32:10.920 --> 00:32:11.920 He said, oh, yeah. 00:32:11.920 --> 00:32:15.920 I was trying somehow trying to talk to him, but he wasn't opening. 00:32:15.920 --> 00:32:19.920 But one question I asked him, I said, I asked him, hey, Wealth, you're a church. 00:32:19.920 --> 00:32:21.920 That means, are you a Christian? 00:32:21.920 --> 00:32:24.920 If you're a Christian, how did you become Christian? 00:32:24.920 --> 00:32:28.920 Then he said, my parents are Christians. 00:32:28.920 --> 00:32:32.920 I grew up in a Christian family. I'm a Christian. 00:32:32.920 --> 00:32:36.920 Then I was praying inside. Lord, somehow, somehow help me, Lord. 00:32:36.920 --> 00:32:40.920 And then he looked at me and then he said, oh, are you a Christian? 00:32:40.920 --> 00:32:43.920 How did you become a Christian? 00:32:43.920 --> 00:32:46.920 And that helped me. 00:32:46.920 --> 00:32:52.920 Then I opened up and then I was praying inside and then I shared what Christ has done in my life, how Christ loves me. 00:32:52.920 --> 00:32:55.920 And then I shared my story. And then he started to look at me. 00:32:55.920 --> 00:32:59.920 He started to pay attention. And he said, he said, this story is powerful. 00:32:59.920 --> 00:33:02.920 How God can change people's lives. 00:33:02.920 --> 00:33:06.920 And then immediately I looked at him and then I told him, Hey, Wealth, I want to talk to you. 00:33:06.920 --> 00:33:11.920 I want to tell you one thing. I said, I was not supposed to be here, but I'm here. 00:33:11.920 --> 00:33:16.920 Then he looked at me and then he said, what? What did you say? 00:33:16.920 --> 00:33:19.920 I said, I was not supposed to be here, but I'm here. 00:33:19.920 --> 00:33:22.920 He said, do you know time traveling? 00:33:22.920 --> 00:33:24.920 I said, what do you mean? 00:33:24.920 --> 00:33:27.920 He said, someone spoke to me these words yesterday. 00:33:27.920 --> 00:33:31.920 I heard a loud and clear yesterday. He remember the promise.
