Chris said you're turning 35 too, so happy 35th. 00:01:41.120 --> 00:01:52.120 Okay guys, so last week Derek was talking about a type of person that we should become. 00:01:52.120 --> 00:01:59.120 And so I picked on the same title. We were talking about how there's always a city within 00:01:59.120 --> 00:02:07.120 a city. That God sees his people as a city within a city. And that the people that he 00:02:07.120 --> 00:02:12.120 is raising have to be a certain type. And what's the best way to describe that type? 00:02:12.120 --> 00:02:20.120 It should be a type of his spirit. If you want to see typology, why not look at the 00:02:20.120 --> 00:02:26.120 spirit of God and recognize that how the spirit of God is, so the people of the spirit should 00:02:26.120 --> 00:02:33.120 be. How the spirit of God is, so the people of the spirit should be. How the spirit of 00:02:33.120 --> 00:02:56.120 God is, is how the people of God should be. And so we look at how he, as in the spirit, 00:02:56.120 --> 00:03:07.120 is. So to begin with, you can't even enter in if, because life in the spirit, life in 00:03:07.120 --> 00:03:21.120 the Holy Spirit, life in the Holy Spirit is letting go, is letting go of a dead life that 00:03:21.120 --> 00:03:32.120 no longer works. Paul spent chapters writing on this. Paul thinks that the life that we 00:03:32.120 --> 00:03:38.120 used to live is actually a dead life. Paul thinks that the life we used to live is actually 00:03:38.120 --> 00:03:45.120 a dead life, as in it's got nothing of value to it. It's off the flesh. And he says everything 00:03:45.120 --> 00:03:51.120 of the flesh decays. Anything that you attempt from your reasoning, your logic, your ability, 00:03:51.120 --> 00:04:01.120 your prowess or power decays. It's not worth much. And so one of the ways you can enter 00:04:01.120 --> 00:04:06.120 into the life of the spirit is by letting go of everything that you and I have gotten 00:04:06.120 --> 00:04:14.120 so accustomed to doing by sheer brain power, physical strength, a few extraordinary or 00:04:14.120 --> 00:04:22.120 ordinary skills. That's the first thing we have to do. And that is the most difficult 00:04:22.120 --> 00:04:27.120 part because we are so accustomed to working things out our way. Because if you want to 00:04:27.120 --> 00:04:33.120 experience the life of the spirit, what do you mean by experience the life of the spirit? 00:04:33.120 --> 00:04:37.120 How do we experience the life of the spirit? You've got to begin to intuitively think like 00:04:37.120 --> 00:04:56.120 him. You have to expect things of him. You have to begin to behave like him. And you 00:04:56.120 --> 00:05:05.120 have to do the works or expect to do the works he does. And so the question is, is this how 00:05:05.120 --> 00:05:17.120 you think? Crazy, eh? So in your workplace, at home, in church, is this how you think? 00:05:17.120 --> 00:05:24.120 Do you intuitively think like the spirit of God? And so growth and maturity in one sense 00:05:24.120 --> 00:05:31.120 is measured in terms of how you think. Do you think like God? Crazy. What a high bar, 00:05:31.120 --> 00:05:40.120 eh? Do you think like God? But what an attainable bar do you think like God? Second, do you 00:05:40.120 --> 00:05:51.120 expect things of him? Is there this unquenchable expectation of God because he is good and 00:05:51.120 --> 00:06:00.120 he is a father? Third, do you behave like the Holy Spirit? I mean the very fact that 00:06:00.120 --> 00:06:07.120 he is Holy Spirit requires clean hands and pure heart, but do you behave like him? Do you behave like 00:06:07.120 --> 00:06:18.120 him? How do you behave like him? All you have to do is think about the fruit of the spirit. Patience. 00:06:18.120 --> 00:06:27.120 Joy. Love. Peace. Are they increasing? And the last one is, do you do the works of the spirit? 00:06:27.120 --> 00:06:35.120 And Paul spent pages and pages trying to explain this. Almost every letter he wrote was, hey, can you 00:06:35.120 --> 00:06:40.120 leave this way of functioning and can you enter into this way of functioning? So the first thing that 00:06:40.120 --> 00:06:46.120 has to happen if we have to become increasingly a people of the spirit or people that are a type of 00:06:46.120 --> 00:06:51.120 the spirit, first thing is to let go of a dead life that no longer works. The reason we hold on to the 00:06:51.120 --> 00:06:59.120 life we have is because we think it works. Because we think it works. Because we think that how we 00:06:59.120 --> 00:07:05.120 think is making things work out well. It's making things work out like anybody else. There's nothing 00:07:05.120 --> 00:07:10.120 distinctive about us when we begin to work things out the way everybody does. There's nothing 00:07:10.120 --> 00:07:19.120 distinctive. What was so special about Jesus? He did not think like normal people, yet he was very 00:07:19.120 --> 00:07:31.120 normal when he walked here on earth. I mean all these things fit Jesus to a T. He intuitively began 00:07:31.120 --> 00:07:41.120 to think like God. He would expect things of God. He would behave like God and he would do the works 00:07:41.120 --> 00:07:47.120 that God does. So much so that people would say, this must be the Messiah because he does what the 00:07:47.120 --> 00:07:58.120 Old Testament said the Messiah would come and do. And to increase in this. That's what makes us 00:07:58.120 --> 00:08:05.120 different and that's what will attract people. People do not want the same. People want different. 00:08:05.120 --> 00:08:13.120 When they're different is God. That different is like no other different. That's transcendent different. 00:08:17.120 --> 00:08:31.120 And to settle for anything less is so reasonable and normal. And always remember reason and normality 00:08:31.120 --> 00:08:35.120 can talk us out of spirit encounters. 00:08:35.120 --> 00:08:54.120 I wrote reasonable here so if you erase the reasonable then reason and normality can talk us out of spirit 00:08:54.120 --> 00:09:04.120 encounters. And that happens too. There were so many people in the New Testament and the Old Testament 00:09:04.120 --> 00:09:11.120 who God wanted to do things with but their reason kicked in and what was normal kicked in and so they would not 00:09:11.120 --> 00:09:18.120 be able to engage in an encounter with God because God does operate beyond reason and normality. 00:09:18.120 --> 00:09:28.120 With Christians what happens is we start looking for God through provisions that come through people 00:09:28.120 --> 00:09:41.120 instead of looking straight to God. And reason and normality kick in. So if this is your life then it's not very attractive. 00:09:41.120 --> 00:09:51.120 That's the thing. If this is your life then it's not very attractive. Why would I want your life when I have the same life? 00:09:51.120 --> 00:10:01.120 But if Christ is in me then surely there must be something that's distinct about us. 00:10:01.120 --> 00:10:13.120 Any questions? 00:10:13.120 --> 00:10:23.120 Okay so you're all in agreement. Well then let's start conspiring with God. To conspire is to make plans with God. 00:10:23.120 --> 00:10:48.120 To make plans with God where everything now stems from having conversations with him that influence our decision. 00:10:48.120 --> 00:11:01.120 What do we fight? We fight what is normal. We fight what is reason or rational. We fight what is logical. 00:11:01.120 --> 00:11:13.120 So Jacob should we not give credence to this? Not first. Always. Second or third. 00:11:13.120 --> 00:11:30.120 Any questions on that? So here's what I'm saying. I'm saying it is impossible to show God if one chooses to function in any area of your life 00:11:30.120 --> 00:11:41.120 with what is normal, with what is reason, with what is rational, with what is logical. There is a place for it but it's a far second or third. 00:11:41.120 --> 00:11:52.120 There's a scripture about King Asa in First Chronicles and here's what it says. Asa, God was upset with Asa not because he went to the physicians 00:11:52.120 --> 00:12:00.120 because God crafted doctors, crafted physicians, has the medical system so that we can take advantage of it. 00:12:00.120 --> 00:12:07.120 But the scriptures say God was upset with Asa not because he went to the physicians but because he did not turn to God first. 00:12:07.120 --> 00:12:17.120 There is this first resort that must be God and that is when reason, rational, logic kicks in. 00:12:17.120 --> 00:12:33.120 That can't be. And it doesn't matter which area it is. Every area must have normality, reason and logic as far secondary or far tertiary 00:12:33.120 --> 00:12:39.120 to the primary resource called God. Any questions on that? 00:12:39.120 --> 00:12:43.120 How about familiar? 00:12:43.120 --> 00:12:51.120 Familiar. Another great point to add. We are so used to what is familiar that to break out of that into unfamiliarity is so difficult. 00:12:51.120 --> 00:13:02.120 There's almost no progress in our lives if our lives don't touch what is unfamiliar. It's the principle of a seed. 00:13:02.120 --> 00:13:07.120 A seed, as long as you hold it in your hand or leave it on a shelf, will remain a seed. 00:13:07.120 --> 00:13:15.120 But it has to come into contact with something unfamiliar like the soil and as soon as it comes in contact with the soil, the seed begins to spring. 00:13:15.120 --> 00:13:26.120 Unfamiliarity is what strips the sheet off you so that what is inside begins to germinate. Until we do that, it's impossible. 00:13:26.120 --> 00:13:31.120 And God is a God who will continuously bring us into unfamiliar places. 00:13:31.120 --> 00:13:38.120 I sent a small excerpt from My Atmos for His Highest to Jonathan and in it it says, 00:13:38.120 --> 00:13:52.120 If you insist on being mowed or tied to the dock and refuse to let yourself go on the wide ocean of God's love and adventure, 00:13:52.120 --> 00:14:02.120 God will send a storm so that you are unhooked from the dock and set afloat on His wide ocean so that you can experience Him afresh. 00:14:09.120 --> 00:14:19.120 So every time God pushes you into the unfamiliar, take it. Because if you don't, because He really cares for you, He will. 00:14:19.120 --> 00:14:27.120 You would do that with your kid, right? How do you teach your kid to swim? Don't throw him in. That's a bad dad. 00:14:27.120 --> 00:14:35.120 Take him slowly into the water. Take him deeper in. But each step takes him deeper in, right? 00:14:35.120 --> 00:14:42.120 Yeah. And if you do throw your kid into the deep end, make sure you know how to swim. 00:14:42.120 --> 00:14:46.120 But don't. It's not a good idea. 00:14:46.120 --> 00:15:03.120 So the easiest pathway, the easiest pathway into the adventures of God, into the adventure of God, into the adventure of the Spirit, 00:15:03.120 --> 00:15:20.120 is obedience. And with obedience, He lets you rest or abide. It's His favorite thing to do, eh? 00:15:20.120 --> 00:15:26.120 The easiest pathway into adventures of the Spirit is obedience. What does that mean? 00:15:26.120 --> 00:15:36.120 When He says something to say, I don't have the faith to trust you. I don't have the scriptures to quote. 00:15:36.120 --> 00:15:42.120 I don't have too many friends to help me. But because you said it, I will do it. And you obey. 00:15:42.120 --> 00:15:49.120 Not too concerned about the outcome. But when obedience kicks in, rest happens. 00:15:49.120 --> 00:15:57.120 And when rest happens, as in rest where you dwell, where you abide, where you rest, where you're not striving, where you're not trying to manipulate, 00:15:57.120 --> 00:16:09.120 where there are no machinations, where there is no sweat, where there's no self-effort or striving, you come into this place of rest and God goes to work. 00:16:09.120 --> 00:16:15.120 When we were in St. Martin's and things were not happening, I would start thinking, what should I do next? Maybe I should call this guy. 00:16:15.120 --> 00:16:20.120 And Jeremy's dad would say to me, Jacob, you teach on rest. Just chill. 00:16:20.120 --> 00:16:29.120 And then things begin to happen. Any questions on that? The easiest pathway into the adventure of the Spirit is obedience. 00:16:29.120 --> 00:16:52.120 Let's make a second. What I meant is that everything else should be second or third, a far second or third. 00:16:52.120 --> 00:17:02.120 Like there should be no contest. Yeah. Any other questions? 00:17:02.120 --> 00:17:09.120 OK, so let's look at the Holy Spirit then. He's not a what, he's a who. 00:17:09.120 --> 00:17:16.120 And so here are some things that we need to know about him. One, he's got many responsibilities. 00:17:16.120 --> 00:17:26.120 But one of his greatest pleasures is teaching us how to rest or abide. 00:17:26.120 --> 00:17:33.120 He's the Holy Spirit is 101 other responsibilities here on earth. He's God working here on earth. 00:17:33.120 --> 00:17:41.120 He's got a hundred other things to do. But one of his favorite things to do is to bring us into what's happening here, Brandon. 00:17:42.120 --> 00:17:50.120 Is to bring us into this. Can someone fix that, please? Is to bring us into a place of rest. 00:17:50.120 --> 00:17:57.120 John 15, worth four and five. John 15, worth four and five. 00:17:57.120 --> 00:18:16.120 John 15, worth four and five. 00:18:16.120 --> 00:18:23.120 Here's what it says. Remain in me as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself. 00:18:23.120 --> 00:18:29.120 It must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I'm the vine, you're the branches. 00:18:29.120 --> 00:18:36.120 If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit. Apart from me, you can do nothing. 00:18:36.120 --> 00:18:44.120 If you do not remain in me, you're like a branch that is thrown away and withers. Why does he keep using this word? Remain in me, remain in me. 00:18:44.120 --> 00:18:51.120 Another word is to dwell in me, to dwell in me. Another word is to abide in me, to abide in me. Another word is to rest in me, to rest in me. 00:18:51.120 --> 00:18:56.120 What's the point? The point is this, that one of the things that the Holy Spirit most enjoys across this room is, 00:18:56.120 --> 00:19:03.120 hey, can I teach you to just come and rest? You obey, I'll take care of it. 00:19:05.120 --> 00:19:12.120 And what do we obey? We obey two things. We obey the Logos, which is the word, and we obey Rehman, which is something that God specifically says to you. 00:19:12.120 --> 00:19:18.120 Either through the word or through someone else, specifically tells you this is what you're supposed to do. 00:19:18.120 --> 00:19:30.120 And once you do that, you're not supposed to do anything else, but just for the, I mean, if Jesus was talking to one of these younger kids, he said, no, he wouldn't say that. 00:19:30.120 --> 00:19:37.120 He would say that to me. What's the word, Gen Z word for chill? It's still chill? Okay. 00:19:37.120 --> 00:19:46.120 So Jesus would just say, man, suddenly I feel like I'm young. We used to use the word chill too. 00:19:46.120 --> 00:19:59.120 So it's this idea of just chill, obey and chill. It's the hardest thing to do, guys. It's the church's biggest struggle. 00:19:59.120 --> 00:20:02.120 So Christianity's biggest struggle is chill. 00:20:08.120 --> 00:20:12.120 And expect God to make things work. Why? Because that's exactly what children are like. 00:20:12.120 --> 00:20:17.120 Children know that if their parents say something, they don't need to worry about it. 00:20:17.120 --> 00:20:46.120 He loves disciplining us. God, the Holy Spirit loves disciplining us, not as in disciplining, as in beating us up, disciplining us as in instructing, training, training us to stay, dwell, rest, abide, remain. 00:20:46.120 --> 00:20:50.120 Chill. 00:20:54.120 --> 00:20:59.120 Relax. Yeah, I take relax too. 00:21:02.120 --> 00:21:04.120 He loves doing this. 00:21:05.120 --> 00:21:09.120 I've been working with this sentence for the last little while and it's tough. 00:21:09.120 --> 00:21:33.120 It's tough if I knew how much God, if I knew how much God wants to touch me, speak to me, want to be with me. 00:21:33.120 --> 00:21:39.120 I would never doubt him again. 00:21:39.120 --> 00:21:41.120 I would never doubt him again. 00:21:41.120 --> 00:22:07.120 I mean, if I knew the intensity of his heart, if I knew the intensity of his heart for me, the way I live would be changed. 00:22:11.120 --> 00:22:17.120 I've been mulling over this sentence, going over it again and again in my head. 00:22:17.120 --> 00:22:28.120 If I knew how much God wants to touch me, as in here we are in a church singing and we hope he'll turn up, he'll touch our hearts, touch our minds, do some internal work. 00:22:28.120 --> 00:22:38.120 If I knew how much God wants to do that, if I knew how much God wants to speak to me, if I knew how much God wants to be with me, I would never doubt this again. 00:22:38.120 --> 00:22:46.120 I had to play with that continuously, that this is his desire, it is not my struggle. 00:22:46.120 --> 00:22:50.120 None of your children as they're growing up struggle in this area. 00:22:50.120 --> 00:22:52.120 It is you who want to touch them. 00:22:52.120 --> 00:22:54.120 It is you who want to speak to them. 00:22:54.120 --> 00:22:58.120 It's you who wants to be with them. 00:22:58.120 --> 00:23:00.120 They don't struggle. 00:23:01.120 --> 00:23:11.120 And I'm literally turning it in my head, driving, walking, flying, turning it in my head saying, Oh God, really, you want to be with me? 00:23:11.120 --> 00:23:14.120 And there's an intensity in your heart towards that. 00:23:14.120 --> 00:23:15.120 You want to speak to me? 00:23:15.120 --> 00:23:18.120 It's not like I got to fast and pray to listen to you. 00:23:18.120 --> 00:23:26.120 You want to touch my heart and really have me know your presence? 00:23:26.120 --> 00:23:36.120 The only reason we are sometimes not aware is one, because we don't know this, two, because we are so busy that we need to take breaks to recognize it. 00:23:36.120 --> 00:23:48.120 But the intensity of his heart towards me, it's so powerful that if I actually saw it, my life would change. 00:23:48.120 --> 00:23:50.120 Any questions on that? 00:23:50.120 --> 00:23:54.120 These are simple truths, but they are revolutionary. 00:23:57.120 --> 00:24:04.120 Right now, as we are talking, he wants to be with us. 00:24:04.120 --> 00:24:11.120 One of the things that happens sometimes because of pastors like Tuni and me is we keep saying, surrender, surrender, the Lord wants to be with us. 00:24:11.120 --> 00:24:14.120 And so we think it is us that needs to do this. 00:24:14.120 --> 00:24:17.120 Yes, the intent is to encourage that we surrender ourselves. 00:24:17.120 --> 00:24:19.120 So I'm not saying Tuni and I should back off from that. 00:24:19.120 --> 00:24:20.120 But the point is not that. 00:24:20.120 --> 00:24:23.120 The point is that he wants to. 00:24:26.120 --> 00:24:27.120 He wants to be. 00:24:27.120 --> 00:24:29.120 He wants to speak. 00:24:29.120 --> 00:24:30.120 Here's the crazy thing. 00:24:30.120 --> 00:24:34.120 We worry about, oh, I don't know how God talks, right? 00:24:34.120 --> 00:24:37.120 Start with, he wants to. 00:24:37.120 --> 00:24:39.120 Get past that. 00:24:39.120 --> 00:24:43.120 That itself is such a big mental block, it can be sometimes demonic. 00:24:47.120 --> 00:24:49.120 What's a demonic mental block? 00:24:49.120 --> 00:24:58.120 A demonic mental block is a thought process that has built a fortress in your head that refuses to believe what God says about you or what God says he wants to do. 00:25:08.120 --> 00:25:10.120 How do you break blocks like that? 00:25:10.120 --> 00:25:14.120 Imagine a room full of cardboard boxes. 00:25:14.120 --> 00:25:17.120 There's a little creepy crawly snake in there. 00:25:17.120 --> 00:25:19.120 How do you catch the snake? 00:25:19.120 --> 00:25:23.120 Remove the boxes. 00:25:23.120 --> 00:25:29.120 Those boxes have been put there over a period of time. 00:25:29.120 --> 00:25:31.120 Snakes found its way in. 00:25:31.120 --> 00:25:35.120 You can't get the snake till you remove the boxes. 00:25:35.120 --> 00:25:40.120 And just as you brought them into the room, now begin to take them out. 00:25:40.120 --> 00:25:46.120 Strongholds are broken a brick at a time because they were built a brick at a time and God really helps you. 00:25:49.120 --> 00:25:53.120 God will push you into places that you're not equipped for. 00:25:53.120 --> 00:26:00.120 God will push you into places you're not equipped for. 00:26:03.120 --> 00:26:06.120 These are things that are going to happen to us. 00:26:06.120 --> 00:26:07.120 We will make mistakes. 00:26:07.120 --> 00:26:09.120 Don't be afraid of mistakes. 00:26:09.120 --> 00:26:12.120 God will push you into places where you're not equipped to be. 00:26:12.120 --> 00:26:21.120 If you want to survive and then if you want to flourish, you have but one choice. 00:26:21.120 --> 00:26:35.120 One choice, which is again, seek God in a place or from a place of rest. 00:26:35.120 --> 00:26:46.120 This church, the one thing this church needs most, starting with me down to the smallest, the one thing this church needs most is to carve out time. 00:26:46.120 --> 00:26:54.120 For what lies ahead of us, if we do not find time to do this, we will have to fake it. 00:26:57.120 --> 00:27:02.120 Faking it isn't fun because at some point you realize, man, this sucks. 00:27:05.120 --> 00:27:14.120 There's no other way to meet the future than for each person here to begin to carve out time. 00:27:16.120 --> 00:27:29.120 And anybody who seeks to carve out time in the middle of them getting married, in the middle of a thesis, in the middle of them going into new ventures, it doesn't matter. 00:27:29.120 --> 00:27:35.120 In the middle of his credits that he has to take at Regent, it doesn't matter. 00:27:35.120 --> 00:27:41.120 The moment you desire to carve out time, God will create it. 00:27:45.120 --> 00:27:48.120 If this church doesn't do it, we'll have to fake it because it'll be too difficult. 00:27:48.120 --> 00:27:50.120 Any questions on that? 00:27:50.120 --> 00:27:54.120 Because we're going to get pushed into places that we are not equipped for. 00:27:54.120 --> 00:28:00.120 And to survive or flourish there, the choice is only one thing, seek God from a place of rest. 00:28:04.120 --> 00:28:06.120 Any questions? 00:38:43.120 --> 00:38:46.120 From the word, from each other, and from the body. 00:38:46.120 --> 00:38:49.120 So whenever a church begins to emphasize only worship, 00:38:49.120 --> 00:38:53.120 add the expense of truth, that church becomes poorer, not richer. 00:38:54.120 --> 00:38:59.120 So with this person, he'll develop a relationship with an imaginary friend 00:38:59.120 --> 00:39:01.120 which I used to have when I was six. 00:39:03.120 --> 00:39:05.120 And so you create your own God. 00:39:05.120 --> 00:39:07.120 And man loves doing that. 00:39:07.120 --> 00:39:08.120 Why do we create idols? 00:39:08.120 --> 00:39:13.120 Why is the Sistine Chapel painted with God and man, 00:39:13.120 --> 00:39:15.120 but God looks like man? 00:39:16.120 --> 00:39:22.120 Because we always like reducing God to a proportion that is handleable. 00:39:23.120 --> 00:39:26.120 So be it in the Sistine Chapel, good old Michelangelo, 00:39:26.120 --> 00:39:28.120 or be it an idol, the intent is, 00:39:28.120 --> 00:39:31.120 can we reduce God to manageable proportions? 00:39:47.120 --> 00:39:52.120 There's love, there's compassion, there's peace, there's goodness, 00:39:52.120 --> 00:39:54.120 there's patience, there's mercy. 00:39:54.120 --> 00:39:55.120 These are emotions. 00:39:55.120 --> 00:39:57.120 You cannot be merciful without emotions. 00:39:57.120 --> 00:39:59.120 You cannot show love without emotions. 00:39:59.120 --> 00:40:01.120 You cannot be compassionate without emotions. 00:40:01.120 --> 00:40:03.120 You cannot be good without emotions. 00:40:03.120 --> 00:40:08.120 When emotions are removed from it, you might as well bring out a robot. 00:40:08.120 --> 00:40:10.120 The Holy Spirit has emotions. 00:40:10.120 --> 00:40:13.120 Therefore, it's impossible to have a relationship with the Holy Spirit 00:40:13.120 --> 00:40:19.120 without actually experiencing emotions and feeling the Spirit of God. 00:40:21.120 --> 00:40:26.120 Christianity always is reacting to some distortion in the past. 00:40:26.120 --> 00:40:29.120 So because people started feeling too many things, 00:40:29.120 --> 00:40:33.120 we react and we say, we go by faith, we don't feel anything, 00:40:33.120 --> 00:40:35.120 don't give much credibility to feeling. 00:40:35.120 --> 00:40:37.120 Not true. It's both. It doesn't matter how rough it gets. 00:45:58.120 --> 00:46:01.120 Boyfriend left, you can still handle the day. 00:46:02.120 --> 00:46:05.120 Boyfriend was never your boyfriend, you can still handle the day. 00:46:05.120 --> 00:46:13.120 Once we begin to do this, then what happens is the Spirit of God intensifies. 00:46:15.120 --> 00:46:16.120 Don't you long for this? 00:46:16.120 --> 00:46:19.120 The Spirit of God intensifies Jesus' presence. 00:46:21.120 --> 00:46:23.120 And then the spirit of God intensifies. 00:46:25.120 --> 00:46:27.120 And then the spirit of God intensifies. 00:46:27.120 --> 00:46:28.120 The Spirit of God intensifies. 00:46:30.120 --> 00:46:31.120 Don't you long for this? 00:46:31.120 --> 00:46:34.120 The Spirit of God intensifies Jesus' presence 00:46:37.120 --> 00:46:40.120 through your words. 00:46:46.120 --> 00:46:47.120 You listen. 00:46:47.120 --> 00:46:50.120 People begin to listen and they encounter the one who is present. 00:46:50.120 --> 00:46:52.120 People begin to listen to your words. 00:46:52.120 --> 00:46:54.120 Listen to your words. 00:46:55.120 --> 00:47:00.120 And they encounter the one who is present. 00:47:05.120 --> 00:47:09.120 This, in a real sense, is what the prophetic is about. 00:47:12.120 --> 00:47:14.120 So awesome! song. 01:14:07.120 --> 01:14:12.120 Craft a really silly joke that he'll find funny. 01:14:12.120 --> 01:14:17.120 And that's affection. 01:14:17.120 --> 01:14:23.120 So Holy Spirit, we bless you
