It's 00:00:44.560 --> 00:01:00.540 a word that's often used by fighter pilots. It's ceiling and visibility unlimited. Ceiling 00:01:00.540 --> 00:01:08.460 and visibility unlimited, that's what it means. And that's when you got clear skies. The sky 00:01:08.460 --> 00:01:14.100 is the limit. You can fly as far as you want to. So I want to revisit some of the things we've talked 00:01:34.460 --> 00:01:40.620 about in the past and remind us that when it comes to things that God has already said 00:01:40.660 --> 00:01:45.380 in the past, we need to realize that he still holds ceiling and visibility unlimited. And 00:01:45.380 --> 00:01:48.780 he's saying, hey guys, how high do you want to fly? How long are you going to persist 00:01:48.780 --> 00:01:54.040 with this so that I can do what I want to do? Yeah. So that's the road we're going to go 00:01:54.040 --> 00:02:06.380 down today. So on January 10th, 2021, which was more than 22 months ago, we talked about 00:02:06.380 --> 00:02:17.580 how one of the things God wanted to do was bring about a revival amongst the teens to 00:02:17.580 --> 00:02:25.460 the twenties and to the thirties and that he would do it through us. And this was not 00:02:25.460 --> 00:02:31.420 a Vancouver phenomenon. It was global. And that it is either someone who would be highly 00:02:31.420 --> 00:02:35.800 presumptuous, full of themselves, or ones who listen to God who would be able to bring 00:02:35.800 --> 00:02:42.160 this to pass. And we talked about that in January of 2021. And that is 22 months ago. 00:02:42.160 --> 00:02:49.200 And we haven't seen much breakthrough. We've seen pockets of meetings happening or one or 00:02:49.200 --> 00:02:53.560 two stories, but we haven't seen much happening. But then every time I feel discouraged about 00:02:53.560 --> 00:02:58.560 something that God may have said 22 months ago and nothing has happened, I think of what was 00:02:58.560 --> 00:03:15.060 spoken in May of 2020. In May of 2020, God said, listen, guys, adopt Wally. That is in May of 2020. 00:03:15.060 --> 00:03:20.240 When I look at Wally right now and what's happening there, it blows my mind. Every time, 00:03:20.240 --> 00:03:25.440 every Tuesday, every Friday, when these guys come back with stories about Wally, it just blows my 00:03:25.440 --> 00:03:31.560 mind at how much God has done. And it's only with a bunch of 10 or 12 guys that it's happening. 00:03:31.560 --> 00:03:36.480 When God says something, he's able to fulfill it. It might take time. It might take six to seven 00:03:36.480 --> 00:03:40.320 years because he's not talking about raising a garden. He's talking about changing people. 00:03:40.320 --> 00:03:45.000 People are the hardest things to change. The greatest miracle that happens every day on earth 00:03:45.000 --> 00:03:51.120 is when people change their minds and become something they never were. Everything else is 00:03:51.120 --> 00:03:55.880 easy. You can heal a limb. You can cast out a demon. You can even raise the dead. And then over the last 2000 years, you see people just 00:04:21.240 --> 00:04:27.080 turning to him. It takes time, but God is looking for people who can persist with what he said. 00:04:27.080 --> 00:04:34.480 With Wally, a few persisted. A few persisted. And now every week we hear stories of what God 00:04:34.480 --> 00:04:40.440 is doing and it fascinates me. I envy them. I envy the guys who have been persistent with Wally. If God can take and do things in 00:04:45.640 --> 00:04:51.880 Wally when he talked about it in May 2020, I'm saying to you that Jan 10, 2021, when he first 00:04:51.880 --> 00:04:58.960 started talking about, listen guys, I'm calling you to ignite a global revival amongst the teens, 00:04:58.960 --> 00:05:03.680 the twenties and thirties. When he said that, he actually is able to pull it off. The question is, 00:05:03.680 --> 00:05:10.640 will we persist with him? And the reason I named this teaching Kavu is because God is saying, 00:05:10.640 --> 00:05:16.400 listen, the ceiling and the visibility is unlimited. I'll give you whatever you need. I'll let you fly 00:05:16.400 --> 00:05:21.000 as high as you want. I'm going to do it anyways and I wanted to start with you. Are you going to 00:05:21.000 --> 00:05:30.360 persist with it? That's the question. So all breakthrough, whenever God does something like 00:05:30.360 --> 00:05:38.440 this, it requires a breakthrough, but all breakthrough is violently opposed. All breakthrough 00:05:38.440 --> 00:05:46.680 is violently opposed by religious spirits. All breakthrough is violently opposed by religious 00:05:46.680 --> 00:05:53.240 spirits. So you would think religious spirits must be really evil. Religious spirits always work 00:05:53.240 --> 00:05:58.880 through people. What kind of people? You and me people. A religious spirit finds it very hard to 00:05:58.920 --> 00:06:03.360 believe what God has said. A religious spirit looks for evidence and if there's not evidence that 00:06:03.360 --> 00:06:10.080 fits with your way of thinking, you despise it. A religious spirit always opposes any move of God. 00:06:10.080 --> 00:06:14.680 One of the things I have to keep telling myself is that Jacob, just because you don't see it, 00:06:14.680 --> 00:06:19.600 don't stop believing it because some things take time. Stick with it. How many things have you seen 00:06:19.600 --> 00:06:24.640 in your life? You're stuck with it and you've seen it happen. Breakthrough is always opposed 00:06:24.720 --> 00:06:30.840 by, opposed violently by religious spirits and a religious spirit is a spirit that requires 00:06:30.840 --> 00:06:35.440 evidence before it believes. A religious spirit is a spirit that loves status quo and does not 00:06:35.440 --> 00:06:39.640 want to break out. A religious spirit is a spirit that likes hanging out on Sunday mornings in a 00:06:39.640 --> 00:06:44.960 building like this, singing to God, knowing his amazing presence, but it doesn't want to go out 00:06:44.960 --> 00:06:51.100 and do anything with it. Any movement of God requires that a people move out of their presence 00:06:51.100 --> 00:06:56.500 status into a place that is uncomfortable, unfamiliar, as required of all of us. 00:06:56.500 --> 00:07:04.100 These kind of breakthroughs in terms of what God wants to do amongst the teens, 00:07:04.100 --> 00:07:16.780 the twenties, the thirties, across the earth can only happen when a people put up sustained 00:07:17.020 --> 00:07:24.460 resistance. You have to put up sustained resistance to present status quo. 00:07:24.460 --> 00:07:32.500 Sustained resistance to present status quo. If you don't do that, God will find another way to do it. 00:07:32.500 --> 00:07:38.420 Someone said earlier today that God loves working with us. So one of the things God really enjoys 00:07:38.420 --> 00:07:44.260 is working with us. But if he finds that I'm not willing to work with him or I'm not willing to 00:07:44.860 --> 00:07:51.340 walk with him, he can always find somebody else because he really can do it himself. He just enjoys 00:07:51.340 --> 00:07:58.580 having me along for the ride. He can do this on his own. The nature of a revival is that every so 00:07:58.580 --> 00:08:03.460 often God decides, it's time to shift things because things are beginning to veer off course. 00:08:03.460 --> 00:08:08.700 Let me step in and let me pour out my spirit in a way that begins to bring people back. It's he 00:08:08.700 --> 00:08:14.620 who does it. And then he looks for a group of people who he thinks may be pliable and then he 00:08:14.620 --> 00:08:20.020 selects them and says, hey, want to work with me? And if they choose to, they go on the ride of their 00:08:20.020 --> 00:08:26.700 life. And if they choose not to, he always has others that he can work with, but he gives us first dibs. 00:08:26.700 --> 00:08:36.220 That's how this thing works. So there has to be sustained resistance to present status quo. I love Habakkuk 3.17 to 19. Look at what he says. One of the things that you and I had to decide is how sure are you that this is a 00:09:06.820 --> 00:09:11.420 God thing and how sure are you that this is something God will do? Sorry. Okay. So how does this work? Here's how it works. What God does is he picks a group 00:10:02.180 --> 00:10:11.380 of people and that's his sovereign choice. He decides who he's going to pick and he commissions 00:10:11.380 --> 00:10:26.140 them. He picks a group of people, he commissions them to carry out his plan. This is a sovereign 00:10:26.140 --> 00:10:32.020 choice. He may have his reasons but there's no arguing. When you look at you and I, who are we, 00:10:32.020 --> 00:10:40.300 man? We are nothing. It was very small in number. The only thing going for us is our looks. That's 00:10:40.420 --> 00:10:47.620 about it. For some of us, yeah. Not all of us, yeah. Sorry. I sometimes think of you like I think of 00:10:47.620 --> 00:10:57.860 myself. So how does God revive things? He picks a group of people. It's a sovereign choice. Sometimes 00:10:57.860 --> 00:11:02.780 he has reasons and he explains his reasons why. Sometimes it's just a sovereign choice. We don't 00:11:02.780 --> 00:11:07.740 understand why and he commissions them as in he says, hey, I'm setting you apart for this and I'm 00:11:07.740 --> 00:11:14.660 giving you the clout or the resources to do it to carry out his plan. That's how he begins. That's 00:11:14.660 --> 00:11:20.980 how he begins. So in this case, he's chosen us at Acts 29 to do this. What does he want us to do now 00:11:20.980 --> 00:11:30.420 that he's chosen us? He wants us to live it. He wants us to announce it and he wants us to ignite it. 00:11:30.420 --> 00:11:47.740 Ignite others. What happens when we do that? When we do that, it carries into lives. It carries 00:11:47.740 --> 00:12:02.980 into towns. It carries into cities and eventually it carries into nations. That's how simply it works. 00:12:02.980 --> 00:12:09.100 We begin to live it. We begin to announce it. We begin to ignite others. You cannot ignite others 00:12:09.100 --> 00:12:16.420 without living it and announcing it. Both have to go hand in hand. The young adult retreat. Can God change, 00:12:49.500 --> 00:12:57.820 completely change, completely convert, completely transform one addicted, sin-infested, one addicted, 00:12:57.820 --> 00:13:02.420 sin-infested, broken person? Can God do that with one? Can the Holy Spirit do that with one person? 00:13:02.420 --> 00:13:13.220 Hey, there's living proof in this room. The question then is can he change that person's family? Can he 00:13:13.220 --> 00:13:19.740 change Marcus's family? Can he change Pavan's family? Can he change my family? Of course he can. Each of us could have a church of at least 70 or 80 people if you've 00:14:01.420 --> 00:14:07.580 lived about 20 years. It's crazy. Anybody here, if you went back over the last 20 years of your life, 00:14:07.580 --> 00:14:17.060 you would find at least 70 or 80 people that were touched by your life and changed. We don't realize 00:14:17.060 --> 00:14:28.460 it, but this is how it works. So this is the process, eh? In a world of instant everything, God doesn't work like that, man. It's only a matter 00:16:49.620 --> 00:16:56.260 of time you'll see this. You'll see pockets in different countries. Teens, 20s, 30s. Why teens, 00:16:56.260 --> 00:17:05.860 20s, 30s? Because the next 20, 30, 40 years are going to be affected by them. I was a young adult. Everyone else was older. When Derek walked into 00:17:27.500 --> 00:17:34.060 the church, he thought maybe there are some girls here I could get married to. We are thinking of moving. I sent them to three 00:17:49.220 --> 00:17:53.460 really bad churches and they came back immediately. That is a trick. I am over 55. They ignite, we're done. Why do you think I asked my nephew to come and 00:18:46.340 --> 00:18:56.060 hang around? I mean, it's expensive. You've got to feed him three times. Always remember in the kingdom, pursuit is by invitation. In the kingdom of God, pursuit is 00:19:53.820 --> 00:20:04.740 by invitation. Pursuit is by invitation. As in when God says pursue, it is because he's the one, 00:20:04.740 --> 00:20:11.340 he's the one that initiates the chase. He's the one that initiates. You will marvel. It is amongst the teens, twenties and thirties. Who does 00:21:45.820 --> 00:21:49.180 it? The twenties, thirties, forties, fifties, sixties, seventies and eighties. Demands consistency, which is why I'm rehashing something we've spoken of before. 00:22:10.300 --> 00:22:16.380 Because the only way to be consistent is to repeat. How do you become consistent?
