00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:15.920
And then they parted, you know, a heap of water, and then they were able to cross on

00:00:15.920 --> 00:00:25.120
dry ground. That's how important it is, guys. Yeah? The second one. It might be even harder.

00:00:25.840 --> 00:00:33.760
Yeah, but the point is the same. Yeah? So here we see in Joshua chapter 6, the fall of Jericho,

00:00:33.760 --> 00:00:40.560
right? Same thing, right? How many times the Ark of the Lord is repeated here?

00:00:42.000 --> 00:00:44.240
The fall of Jericho, it's all about the Ark.

00:00:47.280 --> 00:00:54.320
Why? Because that's the presence of God here. Yeah? They are supposed to carry the Ark and

00:00:54.320 --> 00:01:00.560
march in front. The first thing that, you know, Joshua got up in the morning and he asked the

00:01:00.560 --> 00:01:06.400
priest of the Lord and took up the Ark, right? And then you see verse 6 as well.

00:01:06.400 --> 00:01:10.320
So Joshua, son of Nun, called the priest and said to them,

00:01:10.320 --> 00:01:16.000
Take up the Ark of the covenant of the Lord and have seven priests carry the trumpets in front of

00:01:16.000 --> 00:01:22.240
it, right? The first thing in the morning what he tells is, Take up the Ark, march, right?

00:01:24.480 --> 00:01:28.240
Nothing else. Take up the Ark. That's how critical the Ark was.

00:01:30.080 --> 00:01:41.200
So my point of sharing this is that the Ark is the fulfillment. The Ark carries the fulfillment.

00:01:41.200 --> 00:01:48.720
The Ark carries the promise. The Ark carries the provision. The Ark carries the purpose.

00:01:48.720 --> 00:01:59.040
The Ark carries the plans for the Israelites from God. That's how important the Ark was,

00:02:00.800 --> 00:02:07.280
everything that God said about the Israelites and what they will accomplish is because,

00:02:08.880 --> 00:02:13.840
I mean, who's going to help that? Who's going to help that fulfill? It's the presence of God.

00:02:13.840 --> 00:02:24.640
And so this is why, in other words, the Ark is the lifeline for the Israelites. It's their lifeline

00:02:24.640 --> 00:02:28.240
because it's the very presence of God with them, right?

00:02:30.960 --> 00:02:37.280
And what makes the Israelites specialists because of this, the presence of God? The Israelites were

00:02:37.280 --> 00:02:45.920
a small nation. The enemy doesn't fear them, but the enemy fears their God because they know what

00:02:45.920 --> 00:02:55.280
God had done to the Egyptians. They dread, right? Fear in the enemy's camp. Not because they are of

00:02:55.280 --> 00:03:02.240
a superior race. Nothing to do with ethnicity, race, color, creed here, but they fear the Israelites

00:03:02.240 --> 00:03:12.800
because of Yahweh, God with them, right? And so on one hand, the Ark was a blessing for the Israelites.

00:03:14.240 --> 00:03:23.200
It was powerful. And at the same time, it was disastrous for the enemy.

00:03:23.840 --> 00:03:31.760
And I'll tell you more later. But the Ark was the throne, was the throne of God's kingship,

00:03:32.560 --> 00:03:40.400
right? In Psalm 99, it says, the Lord reigns and he enthroned between the cherubim. Here he's talking

00:03:40.400 --> 00:03:47.120
about the mercy seat here, right? God reigns in between the mercy seat, right? God, so the Ark

00:03:47.280 --> 00:03:58.160
represents the throne of God, right? So here's an interesting. The Israelites did not move.

00:03:59.760 --> 00:04:06.000
When the Ark was lifted, they would move. When the Ark rest, they would settle.

00:04:08.560 --> 00:04:12.240
They were not deciding when the Ark should stay or when the Ark should move.

00:04:13.200 --> 00:04:20.560
It's God who decides when the Ark shall stay, when the Ark shall move. Yeah? They are to follow the Ark.

00:04:23.120 --> 00:04:31.840
And so the Ark would take them. The Ark would go before them into impossible places.

00:04:33.440 --> 00:04:35.760
Yeah? Impossible places.

00:04:36.560 --> 00:04:42.560
Like I mentioned, the crossing of Jordan, it was the priests who were carrying the Ark. Whether it

00:04:42.560 --> 00:04:49.680
was the wall of Jericho, it was the priests who were carrying the Ark, right? So Israel's victory,

00:04:50.480 --> 00:04:59.200
Israel's success, it was not based on strategy. It was not based on any strategy of the Israelites.

00:04:59.360 --> 00:05:06.000
It was the sheer presence of God. Yeah? I think that is important for us to understand. And so on

00:05:06.000 --> 00:05:12.000
one hand, whenever the Ark is carried forward, there is the power of God that backs them up.

00:05:12.800 --> 00:05:22.640
And then whenever the Ark rests, there is provision. It's mind-blowing, guys. Yeah? There was a time,

00:05:22.800 --> 00:05:30.160
there was a time when the Ark was brought to one man's house in Obed-idum, right? Because why?

00:05:30.160 --> 00:05:36.000
Because David was scared to bring the Ark back because God just killed Uzzah, which I'll share

00:05:36.000 --> 00:05:41.120
a little later. But David was angry with the Lord and he didn't want to bring the Ark back to his

00:05:41.120 --> 00:05:48.000
own city. And so there was this man in Abinadab, right? Oh, sorry, not Abinadab. Sorry, he was

00:05:48.000 --> 00:05:54.800
in Obed-idum's house and the Ark stayed there for three months. And it was not because of his

00:05:54.800 --> 00:06:00.000
prayer, not because of his righteousness, but the Bible says because the Ark was in his house.

00:06:01.120 --> 00:06:07.920
Everything about this man flourished. No, you know, Obed-idum, his cattle, his donkeys, his wife,

00:06:07.920 --> 00:06:13.840
his children, everything about this man flourished. No, the Bible says. Why? Because of one thing,

00:06:14.560 --> 00:06:24.640
the Ark was in his house. That's the power of God's presence in your life, in my life.

00:06:25.600 --> 00:06:31.840
When the presence of God rests in you, in your house, there will be no lack. It's impossible to

00:06:31.840 --> 00:06:42.240
have lack, guys. Yeah? And yet, that's how powerful the presence of God is, especially the Ark.

00:06:44.240 --> 00:06:50.000
Like I said, wherever it goes, it brings victory. It leads them to impossible places.

00:06:52.160 --> 00:06:59.360
And then when it rests, it provides, it brings peace. Yeah? And then the enemy, it ravages the

00:06:59.360 --> 00:07:07.360
enemy. You know, one time, the Ark was captured by the Philistines. Yeah? Because the Israelites

00:07:07.360 --> 00:07:13.520
did not consult God and they went to war with the Philistines. They went on their own. And then,

00:07:13.760 --> 00:07:20.400
Philistines captured the Ark. And so, they brought the Ark and then put beside their own God, Dagon.

00:07:21.200 --> 00:07:25.600
Yeah? And then the next morning, they'll find that their gods were smashed.

00:07:30.240 --> 00:07:39.520
And then, boils, you know, tumors. There were disease after disease that plagued them. And then,

00:07:39.520 --> 00:07:46.080
later on, they don't want to do with this Ark, right? They're tired of it. Yeah? They don't want

00:07:46.080 --> 00:07:52.720
to deal with this Ark of God anymore. So, what they did was, they put on a cart. And then, they

00:07:52.720 --> 00:07:59.600
carved gold off their tumors and then, you know, tried to appease this Ark of the Lord. And then,

00:07:59.600 --> 00:08:03.600
they sent it back to the Israelites. Yeah? You know, I'm just cutting the story short here.

00:08:04.560 --> 00:08:12.400
But it was disastrous for the enemy. And yet, you know, I want to share three terrible ways of

00:08:12.960 --> 00:08:20.560
handling the Ark. Yeah? Three terrible ways. The first one, you know, the Israelites eventually

00:08:21.920 --> 00:08:31.280
lost sight of the significance of the Ark. Tragic, hey? The Ark was going before them.

00:08:32.240 --> 00:08:39.040
It was accomplishing what God wanted. And yet, came a point of time when they lost sight of the

00:08:39.040 --> 00:08:45.680
significance of the Ark. And like I said, there was one time they went and they fought the Philistines.

00:08:45.680 --> 00:08:54.960
And then, they were defeated. And so, what I'm trying to say here is that the presence of God

00:08:54.960 --> 00:09:01.920
cannot be manipulated. They did what they want and they expect God to back them up.

00:09:04.320 --> 00:09:10.400
This is the same mistake that we often do. Can we go to the next slide? Yeah.

00:09:12.240 --> 00:09:13.840
Yeah, three terrible mistakes, right?

00:09:17.360 --> 00:09:24.080
They expected God to back them up and then, following their own desire, they did not consult

00:09:24.080 --> 00:09:28.400
God. And they went ahead and fought the Philistines. They were badly defeated.

00:09:29.600 --> 00:09:35.680
And like I said, God's presence cannot be manipulated. You and I cannot do what we want.

00:09:35.680 --> 00:09:44.240
And oftentimes, we do that. Yeah? We have our own dreams and ambitions and expect God to back us up.

00:09:44.720 --> 00:09:52.320
But here, in Numbers 10, verse 35 and 36 says, whenever the Ark set out, Moses said,

00:09:52.320 --> 00:10:00.240
rise up, Lord, may your enemies be scattered. May your foes flee before you. And whenever it came to

00:10:00.240 --> 00:10:07.360
rest, he said, return Lord, to the countless thousands of Israel. Right? So here, what we are

00:10:07.360 --> 00:10:14.160
seeing here is that Moses has no control over the Ark. And he is not going to back them up.

00:10:14.480 --> 00:10:22.560
The Ark would rise whenever it wants. Why? Because it's the presence of God here. Yeah?

00:10:22.560 --> 00:10:28.720
So that's the first mistake they did. They tried to manipulate God. Yeah? They went ahead with their

00:10:28.720 --> 00:10:34.720
own plan and expected God to back them up. Second mistake. It's even worse.

00:10:37.520 --> 00:10:42.800
They took it as a lucky charm. Yeah, Brendan, if you can go next. Yes. Yeah, they treated the

00:10:42.800 --> 00:10:49.440
Ark like a lucky charm. Yeah. So they were fighting the Philistines there. And then in

00:10:49.440 --> 00:10:56.080
1 Samuel 4, verse 3, here it says, and when the people had come into the camp, the elders of

00:10:56.080 --> 00:11:01.760
Israel said, why had the Lord defeated us today before the Philistines? And then now they said,

00:11:01.760 --> 00:11:07.920
let us bring back the Ark of covenant of the Lord from Shiloh to us, that when it comes among us,

00:11:08.640 --> 00:11:15.840
comes among us, it may save us. Right? It may save us. They thought that if they bring back

00:11:15.840 --> 00:11:23.360
the Ark into the battle, they think they'll win. The Ark is not a magic potion, guys. Right? They

00:11:23.360 --> 00:11:30.320
took it like a, like a, like a little more than like a talisman or a ceremonial token or a lucky

00:11:30.320 --> 00:11:41.360
charm and things that it will work. It didn't. And then the third one, irreverence. Right? You

00:11:41.360 --> 00:11:49.920
know, Uzzah touches the Ark, spot dead. So let me read it. 2 Samuel 6 says, when they came to the

00:11:49.920 --> 00:11:56.880
threshing floor of Nacon, Uzzah reached out and took hold of the Ark of the Lord because the oxen

00:11:56.880 --> 00:12:04.320
stumbled. The Lord's anger burned against Uzzah because of his irreverent act. Therefore,

00:12:04.960 --> 00:12:12.480
God struck him down and he died there beside the Ark of God. Right? When we read this passage,

00:12:12.480 --> 00:12:18.320
I think this is a passage that is often misunderstood. And I, I want to clarify a

00:12:18.320 --> 00:12:25.840
little bit here because at first glance, this feels shocking. Right? Why would God

00:12:27.280 --> 00:12:35.040
strike someone down, spot dead? Right? The Ark was about to fall and then Uzzah is only trying to

00:12:35.040 --> 00:12:42.960
steady it. And so he dies instantly. And so like, does he has good intentions? Absolutely. He has

00:12:42.960 --> 00:12:52.320
very good intent. Right? But good intentions do not replace obedience or reverence. Hear me again.

00:12:53.040 --> 00:13:00.720
Good intention do not replace reverence and obedience. Just because you don't, you don't

00:13:00.720 --> 00:13:08.400
want to be late to a dinner party or to a meeting. You are, you're driving fast. Yeah. But you cannot

00:13:08.400 --> 00:13:17.840
run through a straight light, straight red, I mean. Why? You may have good intent, but you cannot

00:13:17.840 --> 00:13:24.240
break the law and order. You will be punished. So you have a good intent not to be late for the

00:13:24.240 --> 00:13:33.760
meeting, but you'll be punished. Yeah. And likewise, good intentions cannot replace our obedience

00:13:34.560 --> 00:13:41.600
for the Lord or reverence for God. Here, the core issue is not a momentary mistake. Oh, you know,

00:13:42.320 --> 00:13:49.760
you know, you know, Uzzah made a mistake and then no, it was a systemic irreverence, a systemic,

00:13:50.560 --> 00:13:57.360
you know, irreverence. And I'll tell you why. The problem did not begin with Uzzah. Yeah. The problem

00:13:57.360 --> 00:14:07.920
did not begin with Uzzah. God instructed in Numbers 4, he said, the sons of Kohath shall

00:14:07.920 --> 00:14:16.320
carry, shall carry on poles on their shoulders of priests. Right. So God said very clear that

00:14:16.320 --> 00:14:22.720
there is a specific group of people who are supposed to carry the ark. That's one. Yeah. And

00:14:22.720 --> 00:14:33.600
then the Philistines put the ark in a cart. Maybe it was easier to drag. Maybe it was more

00:14:33.600 --> 00:14:40.240
convenient because it's on wheels now. Right. But God said, you will not. It has to be carried on

00:14:40.240 --> 00:14:46.480
shoulders. There was a systemic error there. Right. They copied the Philistines. They copied the system

00:14:46.480 --> 00:14:51.840
of the world. That's one mistake. Right. And you know what? When I find this, it was very interesting.

00:14:53.360 --> 00:15:01.440
The ark remained in, you know, in Abin Adab's house for 20 years, guys, 20 years. And you know what?

00:15:02.160 --> 00:15:12.000
Abin Adab's son is Uzzah. So the ark remained in Uzzah's house for 20 years. Uzzah grew up with the

00:15:12.000 --> 00:15:20.400
ark. He's familiar with the ark. For 20 years, he had not touched the ark. He knows that. And when

00:15:20.400 --> 00:15:28.240
it was stumbling, he tried to help. Right. He knows. He knows that God said, they cannot touch

00:15:28.240 --> 00:15:37.680
holy things because they will die. He was warned way ahead of time. Yeah. So, you know, Uzzah's

00:15:37.680 --> 00:15:46.640
familiarity breeds casualness. He knows he will die. But his familiarity dulled reverence.

00:15:46.640 --> 00:15:54.560
And I pray that this thing will not happen for us as well. Because, you know, we think that this is

00:15:54.560 --> 00:16:00.560
Uzzah's problem. But sometimes this can be our problem too. Whenever we come to church, church is

00:16:00.560 --> 00:16:07.600
familiar. Church becomes familiar. Worship becomes familiar. Yeah, I know worship. Yeah, I know

00:16:07.600 --> 00:16:15.280
teaching. Yeah, I know the Bible. Yeah. It can become familiar. And when familiarity is

00:16:15.280 --> 00:16:22.640
settled in, it dulls irreverence. Now people are worshiping. People are expressing, you don't care

00:16:22.640 --> 00:16:33.200
now. You know, I'm speaking on my own behalf. There was a time when I began to be familiar with how we

00:16:33.200 --> 00:16:42.560
worship and how we do church. There was this casual attitude. Yeah. And I pray that that doesn't sink

00:16:42.560 --> 00:16:49.680
in. We have to guard against this casualness, guys. You know, I'm not saying you're doing it.

00:16:49.680 --> 00:16:56.320
But I'm saying that we have to guard against this. And how do we guard against this? Intentionality.

00:16:56.320 --> 00:17:02.000
Intentionality. Whether you are tired, doesn't matter. Whether you are emotionally high, doesn't

00:17:02.000 --> 00:17:08.160
matter. What if the musicians, you know, depends on when they're in a good mood to sing?

00:17:08.320 --> 00:17:16.800
What if there are Sundays when they don't want to play? Yeah. You see, irrespective of how high or low,

00:17:16.800 --> 00:17:22.400
how much energy we have, it's important that we are coming into the presence of the God of the

00:17:22.400 --> 00:17:28.640
universe in this place. Yeah. And so, whether I am tired or not, whether I have had enough sleep or

00:17:28.640 --> 00:17:36.000
not, I will get up, I will rise up, and I will worship the creator of the heavens. Yeah. And so,

00:17:36.000 --> 00:17:39.440
I will get up, I will rise up, and I will worship the creator of the heavens and the earth who is

00:17:39.440 --> 00:17:50.160
dwelling in our midst. That requires intentionality, guys. You know, irreverence is not a small issue,

00:17:50.160 --> 00:18:02.000
guys. It's not just disrespect. It misplaces confidence in God. So, what I'm trying to say

00:18:02.000 --> 00:18:12.160
here, God is saying that his presence is holy, not casual. Right? You know, he even tells Moses,

00:18:12.880 --> 00:18:17.680
the ground that you're standing is holy. Why? Because his presence is there.

00:18:19.680 --> 00:18:26.160
He's, God is never casual about his presence. You just read from one story to another, God's

00:18:26.160 --> 00:18:33.120
never casual about his presence. Yeah. There was never a time when God allowed the people to

00:18:33.840 --> 00:18:43.200
play and touch the ark. No. He guards his holiness. He guards his glory. He will not share his glory

00:18:45.040 --> 00:18:51.520
with someone who is casual. Yeah. So, what we're trying to say here is that this was not

00:18:51.520 --> 00:19:00.080
God being cruel. This is not God rejecting sincerity. This is not about God angry with

00:19:00.080 --> 00:19:09.600
Uzzah without warning. No. This was God protecting his, the holiness of his presence. Yeah. And later

00:19:09.600 --> 00:19:16.240
on, you will see that David, David came to his senses. Yeah. Because that day, David was also

00:19:16.240 --> 00:19:23.280
upset with God. Why would you strike a man down? David was angry and he did not bring the ark.

00:19:23.280 --> 00:19:31.200
But later on, he realizes, and in 1 Chronicles 15, he says, because you did not carry it the first

00:19:31.200 --> 00:19:36.640
time, the Lord our God broke out against us. Right? They did not carry it. Why? Because they put it in

00:19:36.640 --> 00:19:44.080
the cart. Right? So now, David realizes, because we did not seek him according to his rule, as in

00:19:44.080 --> 00:19:50.320
God's way. Right? And you know what he did? You know, he brought back by carrying it. And so,

00:19:50.320 --> 00:20:00.560
the breakthrough came when obedience returned, guys. This is critical, guys. So, Uzzah did not die

00:20:00.560 --> 00:20:10.720
because he was near God. Uzzah died because God was treated as common. God's not common.

00:20:11.680 --> 00:20:17.360
So, the lesson that we are learning here is that you cannot manipulate God. You cannot do what you

00:20:17.360 --> 00:20:23.840
want and expect God to back you up. Secondly, the ark, the presence of God is not a lucky charm.

00:20:25.280 --> 00:20:32.960
Right? And then the third one, you cannot carry the presence by being casual and, you know,

00:20:32.960 --> 00:20:39.520
irreverent. Right? So, please keep track of where we are going here. It's important, guys. Yeah? So,

00:20:39.520 --> 00:20:47.200
I'm starting with the ark. Yeah, do not miss the plot, it says. Yeah? Because there's this buildup

00:20:47.200 --> 00:20:52.640
that we are going. And we have divided this teaching into three parts. Right? So, we are starting with

00:20:52.640 --> 00:20:59.600
the Old Testament. Right? The ark, where it's been asked by God to Moses to build the ark. We have

00:20:59.600 --> 00:21:08.640
built the ark and then it's supposed to be carried. And then now we are progressing here.

00:21:08.640 --> 00:21:14.720
The ark is the very presence of God that is to be carried. Right? It cannot be manipulated. And

00:21:16.080 --> 00:21:23.200
so, like I said, the ark was the lifeline, the lifeline for the Israelites. Their promise,

00:21:23.200 --> 00:21:30.880
what God had said he will do. Their provision. Yeah? Their protection. Their plans. Their purpose.

00:21:31.680 --> 00:21:38.800
All of those things hangs in one thing and that's the ark of the Lord. Yeah? So,

00:21:40.640 --> 00:21:49.840
David wanted to build a temple. And then he wanted to bring back the ark into the temple and put it

00:21:49.840 --> 00:21:56.160
in that holy sanctuary. And so, David wanted to build and God would not allow him to build. Why?

00:21:56.160 --> 00:22:03.600
Because David is a man of war. He had killed many people. And he said, there's so much blood in your

00:22:03.600 --> 00:22:10.400
hands. It's not you, but your son Solomon will build the temple. Right? And so, I'm just cutting

00:22:10.400 --> 00:22:17.520
the long story short here, but Solomon builds a temple and then brings the ark and then puts it

00:22:17.520 --> 00:22:26.560
in the inner sanctuary. But then, Solomon realizes that in 2 Chronicles 6 verse 18, he says,

00:22:27.120 --> 00:22:35.520
but will God really dwell on earth with men? The heavens and even the highest heavens cannot contain

00:22:35.520 --> 00:22:41.680
you. How much less this temple that I have built. Right? Solomon realizes that this temple is too

00:22:41.680 --> 00:22:47.200
small. If the heavens and the earth cannot contain who God is, then how can God dwell in such a small

00:22:47.200 --> 00:22:51.840
temple that I have built? Right? And so, he realizes. And so, what I'm trying to say here is

00:22:51.840 --> 00:23:00.960
that the ark was never the end. Yeah? And so, that's why I, here I'm saying, catch the plot.

00:23:00.960 --> 00:23:08.240
Follow the plot because you'll miss out here. So, the ark was never the end. The ark was a pointer.

00:23:08.960 --> 00:23:16.720
The ark was a shadow for what was coming. And that's Jesus. Beautiful, hey?

00:23:18.880 --> 00:23:26.480
The ark in the Old Testament points to Jesus. And I'll tell you why. You know, Hebrews,

00:23:26.480 --> 00:23:32.720
and that's part 2 now. We're in part 2 now. It's like a movie. No, we're, yeah. Yeah. So,

00:23:32.720 --> 00:23:38.000
we are in part 2 now. Yeah? So, part 1 was the Old Testament and how the Israelites dealt with the

00:23:38.000 --> 00:23:44.480
ark. And then now, the second part is when the ark in the Old Testament points to Jesus. Yeah?

00:23:45.200 --> 00:23:53.760
So, in Hebrews 11, it says, Christ came as a high priest by his own blood. And here we see the Old

00:23:53.760 --> 00:23:57.920
and the New Covenant. Right? Here in the Old Testament, God's presence dwelt between the

00:23:57.920 --> 00:24:02.480
cherubim. Like I mentioned, right? The ark has a cherubim, two cherubim facing each other,

00:24:02.480 --> 00:24:07.520
and God's presence dwelt between the cherubim. And in the Old Testament, the mercy was

00:24:07.520 --> 00:24:14.800
accessed once a year when the priest would enter. Right? And then the ark was hidden behind the veil.

00:24:14.800 --> 00:24:21.920
And then, you know what? When Jesus came, God's presence is no longer in a box, but the presence

00:24:21.920 --> 00:24:28.640
of God dwells in a person, and that is Jesus. Yeah? And then, mercy is not accessed once a year.

00:24:29.600 --> 00:24:35.120
Jesus says, your sins are forgiven. Yeah? And if someone repents, your sins are forgiven.

00:24:35.120 --> 00:24:42.880
And if this girl repents, your sins are forgiven. Yeah? The mercy seat. Jesus becomes the mercy seat.

00:24:43.440 --> 00:24:50.720
Crazy, eh? Now the veil is torn. The door is fling white. You and I have access now. We don't have to

00:24:50.720 --> 00:24:57.280
rely on a priest to go and sacrifice on our behalf. You repent, you receive Christ,

00:24:57.760 --> 00:25:04.320
you receive Jesus, you receive salvation, your sins are cleansed. Crazy, eh?

00:25:06.480 --> 00:25:17.200
The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. John 1, right? So, here, what was once carried externally

00:25:18.000 --> 00:25:28.000
is now received internally. Big change, eh? Big shift. The ark, they carried the ark once upon a time.

00:25:29.040 --> 00:25:35.760
Now the ark has now become the person. Right? Beautiful. Jesus does not carry the ark.

00:25:36.320 --> 00:25:44.000
He becomes the ark. Beautiful, guys. Yeah? And remember the three things that I mentioned?

00:25:44.000 --> 00:25:53.680
What are they? The two tablets. Jar of manna. Aaron's staff, right? And you know what? Those

00:25:53.680 --> 00:25:59.120
three things, you will see those three, very three things in the lives of Jesus. Yeah? Beautiful,

00:25:59.120 --> 00:26:05.040
eh? Let's start with the first one. The two tablets, which is the tablets of covenant, right? Jesus

00:26:05.040 --> 00:26:12.800
becomes the true tablet of covenant. Yeah? Like in the Old Testament, the people of God has to come

00:26:12.800 --> 00:26:18.800
into an agreement with the commandment that God gives. Right? In the New Testament, when Jesus came,

00:26:18.800 --> 00:26:24.800
people, when they receive and believe in Jesus, they enter a relationship with him. He becomes

00:26:24.800 --> 00:26:33.120
the covenant. He becomes the tablet of covenant. Beautiful, eh? You know what? In the Old Testament,

00:26:33.120 --> 00:26:40.720
the tablets testify to God's faithfulness. Right? But, and then it brings moral order. Right? It

00:26:40.720 --> 00:26:47.040
instructs moral order. But they could not transform a human heart. The tablets on their own cannot

00:26:47.040 --> 00:26:56.560
transform a human heart. And the tablets were, the tablets revealed what was right, but it lacked the

00:26:56.560 --> 00:27:05.200
power to make people righteous. Right? And in the Old Testament, the covenant was external. It was

00:27:05.200 --> 00:27:12.720
supposed to be carried. But in the New Testament, Jesus becomes the covenant. Jesus becomes the

00:27:12.720 --> 00:27:23.600
embodiment of the law. Yeah? And then Jesus becomes the promise. And Jesus becomes God's

00:27:23.600 --> 00:27:29.600
faithfulness walking in our midst. This is so different, guys. It gets better and better.

00:27:29.600 --> 00:27:35.680
Through the live death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, you and I now enter a new covenant.

00:27:37.040 --> 00:27:44.320
You don't have to die anymore. Yeah? Death doesn't have the final say anymore. It's crazy, eh?

00:27:44.320 --> 00:27:50.080
So that's the first one. The second one, jar of manna. You know what? In the Old Testament, God,

00:27:51.040 --> 00:27:58.240
sorry, in the Old Testament, Moses puts a jar of manna inside the ark, signifying

00:27:58.960 --> 00:28:05.200
the provision of God. Right? The bread of heaven. But manna was given for what?

00:28:06.480 --> 00:28:13.520
For daily sustenance, but it was only for a period of time. It was seasonal. It was temporary.

00:28:13.520 --> 00:28:18.400
Right? And then the second was, it was a sign of dependence. You cannot store manna.

00:28:20.960 --> 00:28:28.720
Right? Even if you store it, yeah, maggots would form. Right? It was for a very short period of time.

00:28:28.720 --> 00:28:37.840
So the Israelites had to continue relying on God. And third one, manna preserved their lives for a

00:28:37.840 --> 00:28:43.840
very short period of time. Right? So those are the three things. And then you know what? When you look

00:28:43.840 --> 00:28:53.920
into the New Testament, through Jesus Christ, oh man, you will love this. Christ comes and says,

00:28:53.920 --> 00:28:57.520
manna is the bread from heaven, but Jesus says, I am the bread of life.

00:28:59.680 --> 00:29:04.880
It's a game changer, guys. Right? Jesus says, I am the bread of life. And then he's saying,

00:29:05.760 --> 00:29:10.240
it's no longer temporary. It's not going to sustain you for a period of time.

00:29:10.560 --> 00:29:15.200
And he's saying, I am the bread of life and I give you eternal life.

00:29:17.040 --> 00:29:23.200
It's no longer temporary, guys. He is saying, the life that I give you is permanent.

00:29:24.640 --> 00:29:32.240
The shift is not simply receiving God's provision, but Jesus Christ becomes the provision.

00:29:32.240 --> 00:29:42.400
Jesus Christ becomes the bread of life. Not for a season, but forever. Not for a journey,

00:29:43.280 --> 00:29:49.520
but for a lifetime. Crazy, guys. That's the second aspect, right? The jar of manna.

00:29:49.520 --> 00:29:53.680
The third aspect, which we find in Jesus Christ, is Aaron's staff. Right?

00:29:53.680 --> 00:30:02.960
You know, in that story, the staff of Aaron budded supernaturally, right?

00:30:04.560 --> 00:30:09.040
Like, you know, think of this for a second. The staff. The staff is a

00:30:09.040 --> 00:30:15.600
lifeless rot. So they say, lifeless, right? When you have made it into a rod, it's lifeless.

00:30:15.600 --> 00:30:21.040
The staff is lifeless. But it began to sprout and blossom. Right?

00:30:21.440 --> 00:30:28.400
And it settled the rebellion of the sons of Korah. It settled rebellion.

00:30:29.840 --> 00:30:36.000
In the New Testament, Jesus Christ becomes our high priest and king. And then

00:30:37.040 --> 00:30:47.360
his resurrection is the budding staff. How do you see? His resurrection becomes the budding staff.

00:30:47.360 --> 00:30:57.200
Death could not hold him. Resurrected. And now authority flows from him. He said,

00:30:57.200 --> 00:31:03.840
all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. That's what Jesus said.

00:31:05.520 --> 00:31:11.040
Authority does not come from man, not from the approval of man, not from popularity,

00:31:11.920 --> 00:31:18.800
but it comes straight from the father. Crazy, eh? And finally, you know, we're talking about the

00:31:18.800 --> 00:31:26.800
mercy seat. In the Old Testament, there was this spot where, like I mentioned, the blood would be

00:31:26.800 --> 00:31:39.040
sprinkled and God would come, like I said, and then blood would be poured. And then that's where

00:31:39.120 --> 00:31:41.920
the mercy seat. It's the most significant part of the ark.

00:31:44.320 --> 00:31:53.520
And the mercy seat stood between a holy God and a sinful people. Right? And the mercy seat was where

00:31:53.520 --> 00:31:57.920
the sacred meeting place where justice and then compassion would intersect.

00:31:59.680 --> 00:32:06.800
And this was once a year. And then in the New Testament, Jesus identifies himself as

00:32:07.760 --> 00:32:14.080
a Hylasterian. That's a Greek word. Hylasterian. The very word that is used for mercy seat. He's

00:32:14.080 --> 00:32:22.080
saying, I am the mercy seat. Where judgment and mercy meets. And Jesus is saying, I am the mercy

00:32:22.080 --> 00:32:32.240
seat. Yeah? Jesus entered not once every year, but once and for all. Right?

00:32:32.880 --> 00:32:39.200
And Paul knows this very well. This is why Paul says, all who are justified freely by his grace

00:32:39.200 --> 00:32:45.680
through the redemption that came by Christ, Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement

00:32:45.680 --> 00:32:52.080
through the shedding of his blood to be received by faith. Paul knows, eh? Paul knows this idea of

00:32:52.080 --> 00:32:57.600
the mercy seat. So he's writing about that Christ has entered on your behalf, on my behalf,

00:32:58.000 --> 00:33:02.640
that Christ has entered on your behalf, on my behalf, once and for all. Done and dusted.

00:33:05.200 --> 00:33:08.960
Beautiful, guys. This is why you and I don't have to look at the ark anymore.

00:33:09.760 --> 00:33:17.840
Now the ark becomes irrelevant. Jesus becomes the ark. And then now we switch on to part three.

00:33:17.840 --> 00:33:27.440
See? Christ being the ark and then now Christ in you. Crazy man, guys.

00:33:31.280 --> 00:33:33.200
Yeah, Brendan, next one please. Yeah.

00:33:36.960 --> 00:33:47.600
Next. Yeah. So do you see the progression here? Right? Christ being the ark to Christ in you.

00:33:47.920 --> 00:33:53.920
And then the progression was the ark was among the Israelites. It was carried. Right? The second

00:33:53.920 --> 00:34:02.160
part was the ark was fulfilled in Christ. And then the third is the ark is now dwelling in the believers.

00:34:04.400 --> 00:34:10.080
Beautiful, man. We are not replacing Christ here. We are not replacing Christ. Don't misunderstand

00:34:10.080 --> 00:34:18.880
this, right? But we are participating in the indwelling life of Christ. Now Christ in us. We

00:34:18.880 --> 00:34:26.080
carry the ark on one hand because it is Christ who is the ark in us. Right? So we become

00:34:26.720 --> 00:34:34.640
carriers of the ark. That's where the teaching title is heading. Yeah? Because Christ becomes

00:34:34.640 --> 00:34:43.520
the ark. He is the one true God. And he is Christ in us. Now your body has become the temple of the

00:34:43.520 --> 00:34:51.200
living God. This is why now we understand, right? When the Bible says that your body is the temple

00:34:51.200 --> 00:35:02.640
of the living God, you and I become carriers of God's presence, his ark. And John says,

00:35:03.280 --> 00:35:11.440
I in you and you in me, right? And Paul also writes about this in, I think in 2 Corinthians,

00:35:11.440 --> 00:35:17.200
you said you are a letter from Christ written not on the tablets of stone but on the tablets

00:35:17.200 --> 00:35:23.360
of human hearts. Now the covenant is not something outside written on a stone, but the law is now

00:35:23.360 --> 00:35:35.040
written in your hearts. This is the new covenant, guys. Yeah? So the presence that was once carried

00:35:35.040 --> 00:35:42.880
on the shoulders of men and then that very presence incarnates in flesh through Jesus.

00:35:43.600 --> 00:35:51.040
And now the very presence that Jesus now dwells in the flesh is now incarnating in you and in me

00:35:51.040 --> 00:36:01.440
through the spirit. This is not a downgrade, guys. This is an upgrade. It's evolving. It's an upgrade.

00:36:02.800 --> 00:36:09.280
The presence of God was carried on a human shoulder, on a box. Yeah? You and I have the

00:36:09.280 --> 00:36:14.240
presence of God in living in you and living in me. Man, that's an upgrade, man. Yeah?

00:36:16.720 --> 00:36:18.640
Now we have hundreds of chests here now.

00:36:21.120 --> 00:36:29.520
Inside you, carrying Jesus. Beautiful, man, guys. So the question is no longer,

00:36:29.520 --> 00:36:34.400
where is the ark? That's a wrong question now. Where is the ark? No.

00:36:37.760 --> 00:36:40.560
The question should be, how are we carrying the ark?

00:36:40.560 --> 00:36:52.240
Ark. Yeah? And so what does that mean for us now? You know, three things that I mentioned.

00:36:53.040 --> 00:37:02.960
Covenant, like the two tablets. What's in the ark? Three things. The two tablets. Jar of mana.

00:37:03.200 --> 00:37:09.040
Air and staff. Now think of these three things. That's in your life and in my life.

00:37:12.080 --> 00:37:18.960
That's in your life and in my life. First one, we are tablets of God's covenant. We and I

00:37:20.080 --> 00:37:26.640
have entered a covenant with the Lord. Why? Because Christ in you and you in Christ has become one.

00:37:26.640 --> 00:37:36.640
One. Yeah? What was external? What was external? No, no, no. A covenant is when

00:37:37.520 --> 00:37:46.320
you enter an agreement. Yeah? And you and I have entered into an agreement with Christ. We have

00:37:46.320 --> 00:37:56.240
become one with Christ. And so now what is internal has to be left out now. Now the ark that is in you

00:37:56.800 --> 00:38:02.880
has to be now manifested. This is why carrying the ark becomes important now. Manifesting the

00:38:02.880 --> 00:38:11.360
ark becomes important now. Because you represent the very person that you have entered a covenant

00:38:11.360 --> 00:38:17.440
with. If you have entered into a covenant with Christ, now you are displaying who Christ is.

00:38:18.400 --> 00:38:25.200
You are displaying Christ's agenda. Christ's mission. Christ's plans. Christ's strategies.

00:38:25.680 --> 00:38:31.520
Christ's purpose. We entered that covenant, right? Because we live in a world that is shaped by

00:38:32.160 --> 00:38:40.400
human values and there is this confusion. Remember, Jacob was talking about two systems

00:38:40.400 --> 00:38:47.760
yesterday. And we live in two systems. A system of Babylon and the kingdom of God.

00:38:49.360 --> 00:38:55.040
And when we and I, you and I have entered into a covenant with God, we represent this kingdom of

00:38:55.040 --> 00:39:04.240
God. You are in the world but you are not of the world. Right? And so it's important now because

00:39:04.320 --> 00:39:12.480
the presence is no longer an occasional experience. Presence is never an occasional experience now.

00:39:12.480 --> 00:39:18.480
Why? Because the indwelling has become permanent. And so it is a continual reality now.

00:39:19.680 --> 00:39:27.920
That's something we have to understand, right? And we have to switch now from an event Christianity,

00:39:28.080 --> 00:39:35.440
event-based Christianity to embodied Christianity. Because Christians, we always make programs and

00:39:35.440 --> 00:39:42.800
events and training programs and conferences and other things, right? Event-based Christianity

00:39:44.800 --> 00:39:51.520
may be helpful to some extent. But we have to switch from an embodied Christianity now.

00:39:51.920 --> 00:39:59.120
And that reality now shapes how we worship. How we make choices. How we make decisions.

00:39:59.920 --> 00:40:04.720
Everything changes, right? And then the second one is power and governance which we talk about, right?

00:40:06.560 --> 00:40:12.480
When believers begin to understand the weight of this, that I am carrying the presence of God,

00:40:12.480 --> 00:40:20.400
that I am an ark carrier, then if I am carrying it according to his will, power will manifest.

00:40:22.080 --> 00:40:28.240
Yeah? When I carry his presence, darkness will retreat, hearts will soften,

00:40:29.200 --> 00:40:33.600
healing will flow, systems that are broken will be fixed.

00:40:38.800 --> 00:40:49.680
That's how we carry, guys. Sorry? Yeah. When we carry the presence, when believers carry

00:40:49.680 --> 00:41:00.240
the ark, darkness retreats, hearts soften, healing flows, and the systems that are broken are fixed.

00:41:02.880 --> 00:41:08.720
Now God governs through his people. God begins to reign through his people.

00:41:10.240 --> 00:41:13.520
It's so different, guys. Yeah? And we simply have to abide.

00:41:13.520 --> 00:41:20.480
If we abide, we bear fruit. If we abide, Christ begins to manifest, right? And then the second one,

00:41:20.480 --> 00:41:27.440
the jar of mana. We are supposed to be jars of mana. As in like, we are supposed to be

00:41:27.440 --> 00:41:38.080
God's provision for others. Yeah? The ark carriers live in the divine sufficiency of God.

00:41:38.080 --> 00:41:44.480
We live in the divine sufficiency of God. We live in the divine sufficiency of God.

00:41:44.480 --> 00:41:51.920
Not in self-reliance or in anxiousness. Yeah? So, you know, when you hear of this verse,

00:41:52.720 --> 00:42:02.240
you know, hear it again. And I often get confused with this. Not confused in a sense,

00:42:02.240 --> 00:42:06.640
I don't understand, but I don't live this way. And I fail to understand sometimes.

00:42:06.800 --> 00:42:15.360
God rewards according to his riches and glory, not according to my needs and circumstances.

00:42:18.800 --> 00:42:21.680
Yeah? Yeah, go ahead.

00:42:26.800 --> 00:42:28.000
The jar of mana?

00:42:32.240 --> 00:42:35.440
Yeah. Yeah, or else. Or else I'll share you later.

00:42:36.880 --> 00:42:42.640
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yes. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. I'll finish in five minutes. Yeah.

00:42:45.920 --> 00:42:57.440
So that I get dinner with Derek. Yeah. So, you know, the jar of mana, right? We are supposed to be

00:42:59.600 --> 00:43:06.320
jars of mana for others. Because we dwell in the sufficiency of God.

00:43:07.040 --> 00:43:16.960
Right? The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want. God never provides barely for your survival, guys.

00:43:20.560 --> 00:43:31.600
Yeah? You know, you know, my wife was sharing about the prodigal son story. How one of the things

00:43:32.160 --> 00:43:36.160
that made the son, the prodigal son, return to the father was,

00:43:37.680 --> 00:43:41.760
there was plenty in my father's house. Even the servants were well fed.

00:43:43.920 --> 00:43:50.240
Yeah? Provision was one of the reasons too. Here, you know, I'm not going to preach another sermon

00:43:50.240 --> 00:43:57.120
on that. But one of the provision, like, one of the generosity of nature of the father is he's

00:43:57.760 --> 00:44:03.600
an extravagantly lavishing father. And that made him that even servants have plenty.

00:44:05.200 --> 00:44:11.120
And so we are supposed to be jars of mana for others. As in, to be the supernatural,

00:44:11.840 --> 00:44:21.840
God's supernatural provision for others as well. Yeah? And the last one is Aaron's staff. Right?

00:44:21.840 --> 00:44:29.520
Aaron's staff. We are supposed to be a people of authority. Jesus said, all authority in heaven

00:44:29.520 --> 00:44:35.760
and on earth has been given to me. And then he goes on to say, I now authorize you to go and do

00:44:35.760 --> 00:44:43.600
the same. Crazy, eh? These are some of the Bible verses which you and I don't fully understand.

00:44:44.560 --> 00:44:50.400
Jesus said, I am the light of the world. And you know what? He goes the extreme, saying,

00:44:50.960 --> 00:44:55.440
you are the light of the world. Crazy, eh? Do you think you are the light of the world?

00:44:56.080 --> 00:45:02.320
If I say I am the light of the world, it sounds proud. It feels like I'm bragging.

00:45:03.280 --> 00:45:08.560
But that's what Jesus said. Do we think like that? Most of the times, no.

00:45:10.400 --> 00:45:15.120
We have to change the way we think, guys. We have to think from a perspective of

00:45:15.120 --> 00:45:16.720
how God sees and thinks of us.

00:45:20.480 --> 00:45:28.160
It's crazy, yeah? And Christ begins to rule and reign when we have been authorized and when we

00:45:28.160 --> 00:45:33.600
give a life that is consecrated to God. See, there is no authority without consecration

00:45:36.480 --> 00:45:37.760
because God is holy.

00:45:40.720 --> 00:45:44.960
And why many Christians live a defeated life is because there is no consecration.

00:45:45.840 --> 00:45:48.320
Right? It's just like they are just carrying an empty box.

00:45:49.760 --> 00:45:54.640
It's like the Israelites. They took the ark into the battlefield, but it didn't help them.

00:45:56.240 --> 00:46:00.640
Many Christians carry the presence of God, but it doesn't help. There's no power. There's no fruit.

00:46:01.280 --> 00:46:03.600
Why? There's no life of consecration.

00:46:05.520 --> 00:46:12.000
Because a life that is yielded to God, God begins to manifest his power.

00:46:12.240 --> 00:46:23.600
Right? So just to wind up, the one who dwells in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

00:46:24.960 --> 00:46:31.280
That's a very powerful statement, guys. That means the one who is living in you is greater

00:46:31.280 --> 00:46:38.960
than the one who is in the world, meaning anything in the world is inferior to the one living in you.

00:46:38.960 --> 00:46:44.080
To the one living in you. That means anything that I face in life is inferior.

00:46:45.680 --> 00:46:47.520
Why would you fear of something inferior?

00:46:49.840 --> 00:46:54.240
Right? Why would you be insecure of something inferior? When you know that you're going to

00:46:54.240 --> 00:46:59.840
beat them, when you know that someone who is much more powerful is with you, why would you fear?

00:47:02.880 --> 00:47:05.040
These are straight from the Bible, guys. Yeah?

00:47:05.360 --> 00:47:10.320
So I pray that we understand the weight of this.

00:47:12.400 --> 00:47:16.480
God entrust us with his ark, with his presence to carry.

00:47:17.760 --> 00:47:25.200
It's a privilege for us, guys. It's a privilege. It's an honor. It's an honor. It's a privilege.

00:47:26.000 --> 00:47:31.440
It's a responsibility. Many people take it casually.

00:47:31.920 --> 00:47:38.800
Many people take it casually. I pray X-119 doesn't get there. I pray that we

00:47:39.440 --> 00:47:45.200
dismantle this casualness of carrying God's presence, because this is the most precious

00:47:45.200 --> 00:47:53.440
thing that God gave you and I. You know what? When the father, sorry, the father,

00:47:53.440 --> 00:47:58.720
the most precious thing for the father was his son. He gave it away. You know what? Jesus comes

00:47:59.520 --> 00:48:06.240
and he gave his life away and he said, I will give you my spirit. It's the most precious thing

00:48:06.240 --> 00:48:12.480
that he can give to us. Yeah? And if God has entrusted us with the most precious thing,

00:48:12.480 --> 00:48:18.800
why aren't we guarded with everything we have? I pray that we begin to understand the weight of

00:48:18.800 --> 00:48:26.960
this, guys. The weight of carrying the presence of God. You're not on your own. You carry the

00:48:26.960 --> 00:48:33.120
presence of God in your life. Can you carry it to your friends? Can you carry it to your workplaces?

00:48:33.120 --> 00:48:37.280
Can you carry it to your streets, to your neighborhoods? Can you carry it to the world?

00:48:37.920 --> 00:48:44.080
The world doesn't know this, guys. And this is why I want to make an invitation for anybody who

00:48:44.080 --> 00:48:52.320
is thinking about not knowing who Christ is and what this entails. The indwelling does not happen

00:48:52.320 --> 00:49:02.480
when a person is not born again. Because we were all once sinners, but Christ died for us. And so,

00:49:02.480 --> 00:49:11.200
if we believe in Jesus Christ, then we receive the forgiveness of sins. And that's when the

00:49:11.200 --> 00:49:17.680
forgiveness of sin happens, then he makes his indwelling available for anyone who is born again.

00:49:17.680 --> 00:49:24.880
That's how it works, guys. And I pray that if you're considering of being born again, explore that.

00:49:26.320 --> 00:49:30.880
And explore the meaning of that. And for those who are born again, for those who have been born

00:49:30.880 --> 00:49:39.280
again, think about the weight, the power, the privilege, the responsibility, the weight of

00:49:39.280 --> 00:49:43.920
carrying this presence. Because the world is yet to experience this in its fullness.

00:49:44.160 --> 00:49:46.160
So bless you guys.

00:49:58.160 --> 00:50:02.800
So Father, we thank you for this weight that you've given us.

00:50:06.080 --> 00:50:11.360
Father, I'm just going to ask Tuni and Derek to go to the front. And if there's anyone here

00:50:12.320 --> 00:50:19.600
who wants to become a part of your kingdom who's not, Father, we don't want to end without your

00:50:19.600 --> 00:50:24.560
invitation. Because this is your invitation. So I'm just going to ask Tuni and Derek to go to the

00:50:24.560 --> 00:50:31.680
front. And if there's anyone that they can come up and pray and speak to Tuni and Derek, because

00:50:31.680 --> 00:50:39.920
this is your invitation, Father. You're saying, hey, I've given my ark. I've given my ark to you.

00:50:40.880 --> 00:50:48.000
I've given my presence. I came and gave my life. And Father, we don't want to take it lightly.

00:50:50.880 --> 00:50:59.120
We're in awe of the creator of the universe who created each one here, who created each one here

00:50:59.120 --> 00:51:06.000
with a purpose, with a plan, and with a call within them to know their Father.

00:51:06.960 --> 00:51:13.200
And you are that Father. And you continually calling your sons and daughters home.

00:51:16.160 --> 00:51:17.440
So we thank you, Father.

00:51:28.960 --> 00:51:30.160
We thank you, Father.

00:51:36.720 --> 00:51:43.840
As a church father, we just rise up to give you thanks. We rise up to give you thanks for

00:51:44.320 --> 00:51:50.400
what you've entrusted to us, for what you've given us in our own words, in our own places.

00:51:50.400 --> 00:51:55.520
But we give you thanks because you are here. You've entrusted this to us. You said, hey,

00:51:55.520 --> 00:52:01.600
I'm calling you to be carriers of my ark. What is that carriers of your presence? What Tuni has

00:52:01.600 --> 00:52:08.960
explained? So we come to give you thanks. We come to respond in our own way, with our own words, Father.

00:52:12.480 --> 00:52:16.560
So I'm going to put the mic aside, maybe loud, it may be quiet.

00:52:18.560 --> 00:52:23.520
But we don't want to leave without responding to you, Father. This is something that you said

00:52:23.520 --> 00:52:31.680
this is something that you said is one of these five things that we're supposed to become who we are.

00:52:34.080 --> 00:52:41.840
So Father, we give you thanks. I thank you, Father. I thank you for the privilege you've given me to be a carrier.

00:52:41.840 --> 00:52:49.040
Can you help me steward it well? Can you help me carry you out into the world? I want to be a carrier

00:52:49.040 --> 00:52:55.280
of your presence, of your power, of your government, of your worship. I want to carry it,

00:52:55.280 --> 00:53:05.280
Father. I want to carry it. I want to carry it with the weight and the reverence and the awe that is due, Father.

00:53:19.360 --> 00:53:37.680
We carry it as a privilege, Father. We carry it carefully. We don't treat it casually. We don't treat it

00:53:37.680 --> 00:53:48.320
talentously. We carry it with the reverence that is due to carry you, to have you dwell within us, Father.

00:54:07.760 --> 00:54:10.320
So we thank you, Father.

00:54:12.320 --> 00:54:22.320
Father, as we close this event, we thank you for the privilege you've given us to be a carrier of your presence,

00:54:22.320 --> 00:54:32.320
of your power, of your power, of your power. We thank you for the privilege you've given us to be a carrier of your presence,

00:54:32.800 --> 00:54:34.000
So we thank you, Father.

00:54:36.640 --> 00:54:40.960
Father, as we close, I just say that if anyone wants prayer for anything, if anyone

00:54:42.480 --> 00:54:45.920
wants to give their life to you, that they come up, Father.

00:54:49.840 --> 00:54:55.520
And I know Sue has asked people to pray, so if anyone needs prayer, there will be people up here to

00:54:56.480 --> 00:55:04.880
pray. This is the end of the service. Also, that image that was up on the board earlier, if anybody wants it,

00:55:06.480 --> 00:55:12.160
Rachel has made it in a few different sizes, and so you can speak to me and I can give you the image.

00:55:13.120 --> 00:55:18.160
But yeah, for those who have been asked to pray, feel free to come up, and if anyone needs prayer, please come up.

00:55:25.520 --> 00:55:26.160
you
