00:11:49.540 --> 00:11:51.740 Because they did not have the Spirit of God in them. 00:11:51.740 --> 00:11:53.540 Moses craved for it. 00:11:53.540 --> 00:11:56.140 Give me access to your glory. 00:11:56.140 --> 00:11:57.340 Give me access to your glory. 00:11:57.340 --> 00:12:01.740 And he had unprecedented access to God's ways and thoughts, 00:12:01.740 --> 00:12:06.140 because God called him up first to the burning bush, which was ground level, 00:12:06.140 --> 00:12:08.940 and then called him up to the mountain of God. 00:12:08.940 --> 00:12:13.540 And the great thing about getting access to God's ways and thoughts 00:12:13.540 --> 00:12:15.740 is you never go alone. 00:12:15.740 --> 00:12:19.740 Exodus 24, there is this marvelous line in Exodus 24 00:12:19.740 --> 00:12:24.140 where after God speaks to Moses and gives him unprecedented access to himself, 00:12:24.140 --> 00:12:28.140 he says, go down and get 70 others and bring them with you. 00:12:28.140 --> 00:12:32.540 And so he goes down and gets 70 others and Abihu and Eliezer, 00:12:32.540 --> 00:12:33.940 and they go up the mountain. 00:12:34.140 --> 00:12:37.740 And it says in Exodus 24, verse 10, 00:12:37.740 --> 00:12:41.940 that there was a sapphire studded pathway under their feet, 00:12:41.940 --> 00:12:43.740 and they ate and drank with God. 00:12:43.740 --> 00:12:45.740 One man accessed God. 00:12:45.740 --> 00:12:48.140 He was granted access because he desired it, 00:12:48.140 --> 00:12:51.340 and he heard the invitation of God, as we should. 00:12:51.340 --> 00:12:53.540 But when one man hears and enters, 00:12:53.540 --> 00:12:56.540 what happens is he takes with him 72 others, 00:12:56.540 --> 00:12:57.940 and they eat and drink with God. 00:12:57.940 --> 00:12:59.340 What a privilege, guys. 00:12:59.340 --> 00:13:02.340 What a privilege we have to bring the whole world, 00:13:02.340 --> 00:13:05.740 not to see God through a telescope like a distant star, 00:13:05.740 --> 00:13:10.740 but to see him up front, his feet, his hands, his head, 00:13:10.740 --> 00:13:13.940 to have that kind of access and to bring people with you. 00:13:13.940 --> 00:13:18.540 Is there a greater privilege or a duty or a responsibility on earth? 00:13:27.740 --> 00:13:29.740 The answer would be no. 00:13:30.740 --> 00:13:31.740 I was waiting. 00:13:31.740 --> 00:13:35.740 I was waiting and thought my dad's going to come up with the answer. 00:13:35.740 --> 00:13:43.740 OK, so now that we kind of know what's so great about access, 00:13:43.740 --> 00:13:49.140 and we'll flesh that out more as God allows us to, 00:13:49.140 --> 00:13:51.540 let's look at what grants access. 00:13:51.540 --> 00:13:53.340 What grants access? 00:13:53.340 --> 00:13:56.340 What needs to happen to grant us access? 00:13:56.340 --> 00:13:57.740 What are the conditions for access? 00:13:57.740 --> 00:13:59.140 The first one is very simple. 00:13:59.140 --> 00:14:00.140 Favor. 00:14:00.140 --> 00:14:01.540 Favor. 00:14:01.540 --> 00:14:02.740 What grants access? 00:14:02.740 --> 00:14:03.740 Favor. 00:14:03.740 --> 00:14:05.940 The scepter of favor. 00:14:05.940 --> 00:14:08.140 The scepter of favor. 00:14:08.140 --> 00:14:10.140 The scepter. 00:14:10.140 --> 00:14:14.140 The ego is depending on where you're from. 00:14:14.140 --> 00:14:15.740 It goes before or after the hour. 00:14:15.740 --> 00:14:17.340 The scepter of favor. 00:14:17.340 --> 00:14:21.540 You see this in Esther chapter 5, verse 1 to 3, 00:14:21.540 --> 00:14:27.540 where Esther comes and she's standing outside the king's chambers. 00:14:27.540 --> 00:14:31.340 Because no woman could enter the king's chambers. 00:14:31.340 --> 00:14:33.740 Queen Vashti, who was the king's first wife, 00:14:33.740 --> 00:14:36.740 was refused entry into his chambers forever. 00:14:36.740 --> 00:14:38.540 There was an edict that went out, 00:14:38.540 --> 00:14:41.140 and Vashti could never see the king's face again. 00:14:41.140 --> 00:14:43.940 And here is Esther, who hasn't been invited by the king, 00:14:43.940 --> 00:14:45.740 who's standing at the door and knocking. 00:14:45.740 --> 00:14:46.540 And guess what? 00:14:46.540 --> 00:14:48.340 He stretches out his scepter. 00:14:48.340 --> 00:14:49.940 And in stretching out his scepter, he says, 00:14:49.940 --> 00:14:51.340 you are favored, come in. 00:14:51.340 --> 00:14:53.940 And she touches the tip of the scepter and she says, 00:14:53.940 --> 00:14:55.340 king, this is what I want. 00:14:55.340 --> 00:14:58.540 One of the things that grants us access is simply favor. 00:15:01.740 --> 00:15:04.540 And this favor has been provided for us 00:15:04.540 --> 00:15:07.540 through the fleshly slain blood pathway 00:15:07.540 --> 00:15:10.340 that God created through his son Jesus 00:15:10.340 --> 00:15:12.540 in Hebrews 10, verse 19 and 20, 00:15:12.540 --> 00:15:16.540 where it says that Jesus Christ has been freshly slain 00:15:16.540 --> 00:15:19.740 and has provided us a pathway into the Holy of Holies 00:15:19.740 --> 00:15:23.340 so that we can approach him with boldness and with confidence. 00:15:25.540 --> 00:15:29.140 And so one of the first things that grants us access is favor. 00:15:29.140 --> 00:15:33.740 Know that for whatever reason, this is our time of favor. 00:15:33.740 --> 00:15:35.540 This is our time of favor. 00:15:38.140 --> 00:15:38.940 Take advantage of it. 00:15:38.940 --> 00:15:41.940 I intend to take full advantage of this, 00:15:41.940 --> 00:15:45.340 not just for myself, but for us. 00:15:45.340 --> 00:15:46.740 And you must think like that too. 00:15:46.740 --> 00:15:50.340 I will take full advantage of this, not for myself only, 00:15:50.340 --> 00:15:53.140 but for us. 00:15:53.140 --> 00:15:55.340 What do you do when such favor is given?
