THE FATHER’S HEART

  1. The Father’s heart is unchanging. Do I know Him? Can I say like David – The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.

  2. The moment we say “lack nothing” – we immediately think of “measurables” and see God thru the deficits in our life.

  3. God created us with 7 essentials He planned to provide : Dignity or worth; Authority; Blessing and provision; Security; Freedom under order; Companionship and Intimacy; Purpose

  4. My lack is in these areas – and they are taken away when I find it in Him

  5. None of these essentials are realized in independence or isolation. The humility of mutual dependence is the avenue through which God banishes lack.

  6. To move from lack to sufficiency to plenty – thinking must first change – by journeying deep into the Father’s heart – on the back of the Word and the wings of the Spirit.
